My blog title is true and is very me. I laugh at South Park, Aqua Team Hunger Force, and other adult animation shows. They raised me but my consumption in media does not reflect all of my morals, and neither should yours. Everyone has problematic faves and if your morals are easily swayed by something you've consumed for entertainment that's on you buddy. Criticism for what we consume is necessary, but it also doesn't mean to shut out things that disturb us.

I have been gaming more recently and gaming is what inspired me to get back into writing. I love art in all its forms and appreciate fanart as it comes. As my semesters get more jam packed. games i like: undertale/deltarune/undertale yellow (y’all should know by now how obsessed i am with that franchise), stardew valley, animal crossing, zelda botw (i have not played totk yet :( im hoping to soon though!), ddlc

special interests: psychology (especially neurodivergencies, specifically autism and tic disorders), writing, undertale/deltarune/uty, gravity falls, arcane, tadc, bee and puppycat, some oddly specific medical stuff (mostly things like autoimmune disorders and the like, i just hate gore and tbh the cardiovascular system in general), kotlc, bluey, coding, embroidery, linguistics/etymology for some reason???

i do a lot of writing, my first novel is actually fully drafted and i’m hoping to have it edited within the next 2 years so i can publish :) other than that main one + my other main-ish novel i have about ten million wips 😭

Seaman’s Lullaby by the Aussie hip hop artist Joelistics. One of my all time favourite songs. It has pathos and meaning and is just… like what floating in my brain would be like if that were possible 😆

Fasten Your Seatbelt by Pendulum. Australian drum and bass. Umm… this is surprisingly Aussie biased at this point lol. Also this album is an exception with genre. I’m a hard house guy as far as EDM goes.

Elderly Woman Behind the Counter etc by Pearl Jam. What a timeless wonderful song.

The 1812 by Bond. Background music for living and writing.

Crawling Kingsnake by the Black Keys. I’m surprised TBK took this long to come up. Gods I love this song tho.

Radio Head by Talking Heads - same with these guys tbh! Not the greatest song, but pretty groovy.

Epilogue by ELO. This album (Time) is so brilliant as an album. I listen to it start to finish pretty regularly.

Conversation Piece by Kings of Leon. It’s on Walls, and I’m obsessed with that album. This isn’t my fave song though. Find Me is the crème de la crème.

Season of Saviours by Curse Ov Dialect. Another Aussie hip hop band, this track is weird but also *chefs kiss*.

eddie is more than a double texter. this boy will send you MANY texts in a row. most of his screen time is spent in the messages app because he’s texting you. messaging you about things he sees when he’s out that remind him of you. sending you i miss you texts anytime your separated for more than a day because this boy is CLINGY. he’ll text you that he misses you like 5 minutes after you leave. also, he has you saved in his phone as “freak” cause it’s ironic and you have him saved in your phone as “loser <3″.

he’ll send you voice notes with ideas in the middle of the night because he’s far too lazy to type them out. it’s also way faster for him to just talk them out rather than type them and he doesn’t wanna lose them so he sends them all to you. especially cause he knows that you love listening to them in the morning cause he’s got such an attractive voice; you could listen to him talk and talk for hours about anything.

oh he would despise my favourite artists. but i think he would for sure pay attention to the artists you like and make a playlist that’s a mix of both your fav music and his so you can have a happy medium. like some song by dio would play and then daylight by harry styles would come on right after. and yes it would be a very chaotic playlist, but it’s perfect. (also i’d like to think that you play creep by radiohead for him once and tell him it reminds you of him and he’s mildly offended, but also his heart soars because a song reminds you of him </3).

oh yeah, he’s dressing basically the exact same way. still the same loserboy, but probably with black/red nail polish & YES, black eyeliner sometimes. but when he does it it’s really messy, so he gets you to do it for him on the nights he has shows at an old dive bar. you’ve told him to practice applying it himself, but he enjoys having you sit in his lap & hold his face gently while you put it on for him.

somehow, i think eddie would be so much more of a nerd in present day & yes he would totally cosplay 😭

i think he’d be really into story-based horror games (he’d despise shit like fortnite) like Until Dawn & he’d love finding all the secrets & clues & all that. let’s you sit between his legs or in his lap while he plays. & u don’t mind watching him play cause the stories are interesting & you like seeing how eddie makes the characters interact & what paths he chooses. let’s you make decision as well; he’ll ask for your input on what you think he should have the characters say to each other/do. he wants to make sure you’re having a good time & if he can sense you’re getting bored he’ll save and switch the game off.

6) Does this story have any twists? I don't know if I'd call them twists exactly, but I do think that the first chapter at least has a slow reveal of exactly how all of these characters know/relate to each other, and I think that reveal is very effective! But yea, by the time I got the foreshadowing obvious enough my sister could see it coming i don't think it's fair to call it a twist anymore haha

11) What scene are you most hyped for? Ooh that's a tricky question! I think that there's like an emotional/romantic scene in chapter 5 that I've been working on since like, the inception of this fic, that if I get it right is going to be really really good? I also really like the introduction to Jin Ling's pov at the end of the second chapter. I think his voice comes through really strong and I like what it does for the story structure having him show up there so yeah I'm hoping people will enjoy his intro! But tbh there's a lot of good scenes in the first chapter alone that I'm really looking forward to sharing <3

This is the first fic I've ever written where music is not, like, a central component of the story, so when I started writing I was like, who even am I anymore? hi, i'm rin; i'm nonbinary and use all pronouns. this is my newest baby, zumi, she is a monster of a dancer. a back-up dancer, to be precise; gimme connections! <3 also... fair warning, i'm a little rusty - i'm back on tumblr after a long hiatus. >_< so bare with me!

{ RIN, 25, EST, SHE/THEY/HE } —— look who’s joining the infinite tour! only KAZUMI 'ZUMI' TAKEUCHI, who is the BACK-UP DANCER. i’ve heard whispers that the 20-year-old is pretty FUN-LOVING but lowkey FORGETFUL. also, doesn’t she remind you of ASAYA JURIN?

kazumi was born in tokyo to a single mother, they were a middle-class family in her early life; her mother worked in animation for different anime productions. mostly small operations in the 90's and early 2000's but now works with companies like ghibli. (iconic)

zumi was a little free-spirited tomboy (it's neither man or woman!) she loved skateboarding, catching critters like bugs and frogs, listening to all types of music, visiting arcades and playing video games. she's a pro at dance dance revolution! and just dance.

when she entered junior high, zumi joined the cheerleading team and started hip-hop dance lessons after school. she's was pretty good in school, she had a lot of support from her mother and she actually enjoyed most of her classes. (fuck math tbh!) she was good in physical education, history and science.

the older she got, the more she leaned into dancing; using it as a way to express herself and her emotions. kazumi is very fluid movement-wise and expressive of the mood of the songs, she has decent stage presence as well; she looks up to dancer positions a lot like taemin, hyoyeon, jongin, seulgi, jhope, hyuna, moonbyul and chungha.

she started learning korean due to her love for kpop, she's definitely a fangirl; she genuinely loves the music she gets to dance with! her mother supported her dreams, she was once a young artist with a dream; she knew zumi was going to be successful.

zumi struggles with depression and self-image but she's really... reserved about it; she doesn't open up to just anyone. she's on a cocktail of pills but they help her function better so she doesn't complain about it.

recreationally, she smokes. it's been helpful for her mental health but also it's fun so why not? she's a gamer. #poggers oh - she still skateboards and uses it as her main form of transportation since she now lives in downtown seoul. it's easier than storing a car and more enjoyable than riding a bike, in her opinion - of course.

her red flags are that she will forget your birthday, she's a bad influence like do not ask for her advice, she's self-indulgent and she has a temper, to be honest. she will also forget to turn off the oven or blow out a candle so you do not need to be her roommate, lol. (zumi is def chaotic good!)

uhm - random fact time? she has some body modifications like piercings and tattoos. unfortunately, she takes them out or covers them most of the time due to tv policies. she used to run stan accounts and she used to post dance covers but they are all deleted or unlisted now because they are embarrassing. her first concert was britney spears, lol. she identifies as bisexual and is fluid when it comes to her romantic orientation and own gender. she collects plush animals of all types and has a photocard collection of 2nd and 3rd-generation groups. she also learned english with animated western movies and youtube videos! she loves to spoil her dance team and other coworkers with homemade treats, and she often brings meals or snacks for the breakrooms; she gets most of her recipes from tik tok - lol. she's been diagnosed as neurodivergent.

how many playlists on spotify/apple music: HEY. listen i already get so much shit from my sibling for this so i dont wanna hear it askjldfhhkasjhdf i dont really use apple music for playlists but spotify... i just clicked create new playlist and it auto-titled it "My Playlist #166" so. 165 of my own playlists. dont ask me how many are basically the same playlist with slight tonal shifts. i dont wanna hear it akfasdlfdfa;dl (and no i WONT go through and delete playlists. spotify is an archive to me lmao)

sharpies or highlighters: sharpies. highlighters have Specific Uses in my brain and sharpies are multi-use and fun

songs that make you cry: im not sure ive cried over a song since i was a teenager that would process my emotions via laying on the floor with my earbuds in, ipod volume set to the max, crying. one of THOSE songs is End of the Line by Henry Jackman. Some songs that make me sad nowadays though are Something in the Orange by Zach Bryan (i KNOW, its country!! how much i like this song surprised me too) and If We Were Vampires by Noah Kahan and Wesley Schultz.

songs that make you happy: not to sound like a snot but i feel sooooo many complex emotions over music and broadening them to reach an overarching 'happy' is askldfjadf im overthinking this one i believe. anyways. random Sinclair brother head canons bc this movie is all I have thought about for months and I need to put these out there’s so ppl can agree w me bc I’m right:

-Lester is a pro w spicy food, like he’s that one white guy that will outdo you as a bipoc on spice level and put you to shame.

-I just know he’d love Thai food 😔

-bo however…

-bo thinks he has same taste buds as Lester, or at least he convinced himself that he does

-everyone at the table will warn him about ordering the hottest spice level even the waiter will warn him against it but Bo’s a fucking show off and he’s gonna suffer the consequences

-this man cannot do spice, I’m talking a lvl two has him sweating.

-one bite out of anything lvl 4 or higher and his head is in his damn hands.

- Lester has definitely tried to get bo to do those hot chip and noodle challenges and it’s def ended w bo dry heaving on the floor or threatening Lester through chugs of milk

- imagine taking these mfs to a Starbucks drive thru, lester is in the passenger seat, already knows what he wants, a pink drink w light ice ✨ or a dragon fruit lemonade

-Vincent is an artist so it’s only natural that he’s gonna go w a matcha drink, def an iced matcha latte but if he wants smth else I see him drinking chai lattes

- tbh I really don’t see bo listening to a lot of country if any, maybe some johnny cash and a little Reba but I feel like that’s pushing it. I think his taste in music mostly stays within the rock and metal genres 😔 probably has the smallest music range out of all three brothers, sorry y’all </3

🎶 Do you listen to music while you write? What song have you been playing on loop lately?

it genuinely depends tbh! my room is never completely silent as it is (i have an AC unit going mainly bc i need the noise to sleep) but if i ever listen to something, it's either going to be the general long-ass kpop playlist i have or video essays on youtube <3 idk what i've been listening to writing-wise (it usually turns into a blur of sound i half pay attention to when i'm rly in the zone), but apparently i've had case 143 + hello (trsr) on repeat which. makes sense since i've been enjoying both of those a lot <3
