“excuse me?” david raises an eyebrow, confused, yet slightly amused.

“you know, those squishy ball things you squeeze to relieve stress.”

“i know what a stress ball is, dumbass. what makes you look at me and think, ‘cute?’”

angel doesn’t exactly know what makes david shaw, the giant wall of muscle, with hands the size of their head, the literal alpha of dahlia’s renowned wolf pack, so utterly adorable.

perhaps it’s that little crease that forms when he furrows his brows, only noticeable if you look closely.

maybe it’s the fact that he can’t sleep without holding them every night. or the fact that he always wakes up with his face nuzzled into their neck.

maybe it’s how soft his hair is, and how they’re the only one allowed to touch it. or the dimple that appears when he’s really, really, really happy.

it could be his liking for honeysuckles, the story behind them that very few know. that peaceful look on his face when tending to them.

“everything, i guess” they grin, reaching to smooth that crease down with their thumb.

“well, you’re the only one who thinks that.”

Okay so this explanation may get long so I'll answer the second part of your ask first!! Is "rage as" a typo, Angel? I'll assume you mean emojis since you said it's to tell anyone apart!! And well: for emoji anons you just use that same emoji at the end of every ask you send! Or you can use your name or a nickname! (Like when signing off a letter!!) And to get one! You just choose your own! (In my pinned post → my navigation, I have a post with all the taken "anon tags" so anything that's not there is basically free game for anyone to claim!)

Onto Age Dreaming vs Age Regressing!! Now there's many different explanations and definitions!! (and we're not here to discriminate or judge anyone! Remember Angels! If it's not harming anyone else; there's no need to have a problem with it!) Age Regression and Age Dreaming will look different for everyone! Because we're all different people with different experiences, so however someone wishes to express themselves is up to them!

A basic definition (to my understanding and how it was explained to me) would be: Age Dreamers have more of a grasp on their mind / reality when in their smolspace and/or doing "Regression" activities! ; while Age Regressors minds go back to whatever age they are Regressing to! Some people also say that Age Dreaming is more of a "make believe" (not in a derogatory or mean way, simply just as a comparison) rather than actually mentally feeling a younger age!! (of course, Age Dreaming and Age Regression is different for everyone! So everyone will have their own personal meanings for it as well)

goodbye, winter — david & angel (fluff!)

angel will miss winter.

they’ll miss the cold, how it makes their ears cold. the way david never fails to notice, and holds the sides of their head like a pair of human earmuffs.

they’ll miss forgetting their mittens. the way david stuffs their hand into his coat pocket, the band of silver on his finger slightly cold on theirs.

they’ll miss when the heater breaks. when david allows them to sleep inside the hoodie he’s wearing, his cold nose tickling the back of their neck.

they won’t miss winter for being winter. they’ll miss david for being david.

when he tucks the blanket under their chin whenever it slips down.

when he blows on their hot chocolate before handing it to them, his cup of tea steaming in the other hand.

how cuddly he looks in that blue crewneck sweater they got him last year.

when he lets his hair grow a little longer.

the way he wipes his reading glasses when they fog up, the frustrated look on his face when the lenses cloud up seconds after, something they find strangely cute.

why does winter have to leave so soon?

good thing spring david is just as endearing, just as caring.

how uncharacteristically excited he gets when his flowers bloom, their vivid glow illuminating his stoic face.

how the spring sun makes that little scar near his eyebrow visible again.

when his voice is a little scruffy from spring allergies.

when he cuts his hair to expose his neck, coming home with anticipation in his face, adorably waiting for his mate’s reaction to the new haircut. even better, when he lets them cut it. when it’s just the two of them in the backyard, a stool, and the sounds of new life rustling the trees.

the way he delicately braids flowers into their hair outside, both of their feet covered in soil despite coming out with sandals on.

winter will go, but that’s okay. spring will leave just as fast, and that’s okay too.

hey yall. so yesterday was my sp's birthday. i texted him and he had a good old dry reply regarding the same. saying "thank you". we longed the conversation a bit but where i felt that naah this is getting too boring or i am just giving away my power and energy for nothing and for free (CAUSE BABYGIRLS WE ARE THE FUCKING BITCHED AND EVERYONE LITERALLY WORSHIPS THE GROUND WE WALK ON) so i did NOT choose to settle for his mediocre conversation to be honest. we deserve meaningful conversations. AND THAT'S WHAT WE WILL SETTLE FOR. NOTHING LESS. I DESERVE TO BE LOVED THE HELL OUT OF ME. I DESERVE DEVOTION. And he would give that to me. 'cause babygirls, we are the fucking goddesses and queens and our sps are literally just a projection of our thoughts. so know your worth and don't settle and F u c k the 3d. he is going to come back crawling to you. alright????
