[ cw: trauma / mind control / separation anxiety / autophobia / ]
Something that kills me is that there’s no way in hell that Raph’s debilitating separation anxiety isn’t infinitely worse after the movie. The trauma of being Krangified like that, all alone, would probably regress him so hard.
Not to mention his worries of getting “weird” would likely get mixed up with his experience while Krangified - aka, he loses full awareness, and when he’s brought “back” it’s to the understanding that he attacked his own family (of course not to his own fault at all, but how much of that does he believe?)
The fear of being alone would take on another layer and become a fear of himself.

In one of the extra comics Marcille mentions that elves don't have body hair, her included. So Falin staring at a naked pussy is Canon
I mean, I hear what you're saying but...
To be 100% honest, this feels really ambiguous. She's a little too worked up in that second panel. Like, a lot of people have interpreted it as her being defensive and self-conscious about the fact that she shaves and waxes religiously (especially in the context of a trans headcanon) and that feels more right to me?
My personal interpretation is that she really doesn't grow little facial hairs (partially bc we've seen Senshi's huge beard turn into a tiny little elf stache so there is some real evidence for that). But then she doesn't actually know if she has peach fuzz or not and gets REALLY flustered about being scrutinized before she can check for herself and shave off anything she doesn't like.
But either way, my point is that I don't think we're meant to take Marcille's words here at 100% face value and consider it evidence for elf physiology.
And listen. I think Marcille should have a bald pussy in the bath scene bc rule of funny. But beyond that, I want to believe elves can grow pubic hair. I want to believe in the postcanon blondie bush. She's exponentially cuter with it, and I don't want Falin to have to eat bald pussy for the rest of her life. I'm only half joking when I say I want it as a part of her character growth. At the end of the story, Marcille Donato accepts that she is a living, breathing animal that eats and will be eaten and sweats and shits and grows hair all over her body. She learns to accept mortality, starts to reconcile with the inherent grotesqueness of being alive, and most importantly, lets her bush grow out for the first time in her life. And it's beautiful.

So I just read up on the FAQ since I got all caught up after being addicted to your comic for two weeks and I have to ask -
If Steven's gem is the size of his entire skull as a teenager, how did it fit inside his head as a baby? Did the gem start small and then grow with him?

(Ignore the bg, I just slapped some colours on cos by god Id never get this done otherwise and this has been sitting in my files for a while.)
This sketch has way too much way too specific context to really explain what’s happening here (a weird concoction of my brain expanding the future fic and also adding in the badland’s rumble plot and-, dont, dont even ask), but the gist of it is, I headcanon that after everything Meryl experienced in July, i.e. seeing Vash getting robbed of any choice, she kind of develops a bit of a complex on forcing him to make decisions or pushing decisions on him. Not to say she’s not still headstrong and commanding when need be, but especially in matters of the heart, she’d rather give him opportunities, offer him a hand, than deciding on what he wants. So her specifically asking him to make promises to keep is something really rare.
Also, see? I CAN draw smoochies if I want to.

This election day, I'm thinking of my Nana.
I'm thinking of how as a young woman, she fled political violence in her native Colombia to build a new home in a more stable country. I'm thinking about how she lived a long life, but not long enough to see her home country elect its first ever progressive president (just a few months ago!).
Coincidentally, I was living in Colombia at that time (in the very city she grew up in), and I was able to witness what felt like a miracle. A very conservative country, suffering from the violent inheritance of colonization and catholic invasion and the war on drugs, against a backdrop of the dangerous global rise of the far right--this unlikely country managed to elect one of the most progressive heads of state in the world, in 2022. That's a pretty big deal.
And I'm thinking about this, this election day, because that election was won by a very thin margin. I'm thinking about how it almost didn't happen. I'm thinking about how it was only possible thanks to the highest voter turnout in 20 year. And I am thinking about the countless number of voters who chose to vote for the first time. I am thinking of the poorest and most disenfranchised citizens who showed up at the polls. I am thinking of the indigenous women who rode 12 hours on public buses to vote at the 'nearest' polling stations. I am thinking of all the money and corruption that went into preventing minority citizens from voting, and I'm thinking about how they showed up in the millions and voted anyway.
I am thinking that I would like to see a miracle like that in my own home country.
So if you're on the fence about waiting in line today to cast your vote, I hope that you will think--about the country you want to live in, the future you hope will unfold, and about all of the people it takes to make a miracle.
Because history may deem us nameless and faceless, but when we show up en masse, we are the ones who make history happen.
And yes, maybe also spare a thought for my Nana. Who was in fact a very angry and judgemental woman who supported the republican party for 50+ years, and who would be turning in her grave right now (if the family hadn't had her cremated). Think about the mean angry ghost of my Colombian grandmother, who very much wants you to not show up at the polls to support abortion and other sinful progressive values. Think about her. Do it for her. Do it for Nana.

sure!
arti isnt very enthusiastic about trading. she prefers to just give a person what she thinks they deserve or need(like some food to a really small fragile weak scug or a bomb in the face of a scav) and she doesnt need anything in return. besides, trading is.. well, a scavs thing. so FUCK ECONOMY!!!!!!!!!

i think what Jason wants (from Bruce at least) is to be loved transcendentally. he wants to be loved with earth shattering intensity, the kind that'll raze the world to the ground when lost and inspire greatness when present. Jason wants to mean something and to matter more than anything except for (maybe) another (worthy) human. Jason wants to be shown love in the way that he experiences love. but that kind of exclusive focus is impossible when your dad is Batman.

How resistent are your angels?
Could a human gun hurt them
Or only magic stuff?
Anything can be used to hurt them as long as they are on the same plane of existence but I should probably elaborate on that- to preface this is a big major element of my world building I've had since for a decade now so buckle up.
In my story, there are several 'planes of existence' that make up a universe. Earth, and well everything we are physically aware of and can touch/see is the Physical Realm (P.R), aka the tangible zone where spiritual, dream, liminal influence is minimal.
The opposite of the P.R is the Plane of Pure-Existence where everything that cannot exist within the physical resides. It's where angels, demons, souls, ghosts, deities, entities, Heaven+Hell is and has several 'levels' of separation from the P.R.
The closer a layer is to the P.R, the more effect the souls (angels, demons, etc) inhabiting that layer can have on it. For example:
Layer one: A soul can possess a tangible body, move some physical igniting flammable material, conjure tangible elemental threats, communicate with tangible beings. (Think poltergeists)
Layer five: A soul can only communicate with faint elemental influences like a timely breeze.
Movement between the layers is very possible yet the more powerful/large an entity is, the more difficulty it has getting closer to the P.R. This is why guardian angels look the way they do so they are able to be close to humans with relative ease. It's also why The Admin isn't making frequent appearances to humans.
So I guess to answer your question: A human gun cannot harm an angel cause angels typically exist on an entirely different plane. But if they were in the P.R then yes a gun could be used against them. Though that then would beg the question if it would 'hurt' em or well...even inconvenience them

Out of Glen, Freya, and Harry who usually has the shared brain cell?
And do they accept side quests while on their journey?
"As for side quests, we're not opposed to extra coin, but judging by our ... unique challenges, I can't imagine anyone wanting to hire us."

Hands down, Give is one of Sleep Token's yearn-iest songs. Ever. It's not on par with TLYW, Jaws etc. (because that's a whole different layer of Sleep Token's yearning onion), but it's got a kick to it.
When I say that song is the epitome of desperate, I mean it.
Without thinking about it too much, the first time I listened to it my first thoughts were 'ah, okay, wanting to give all for your lover and be able to trust them, got it', but then I thought about it a bit more.
Like with all Sleep Token songs, it has a bit of an eerie undertone, which borders on slightly obsessive, depending on who you're talking to, with the lyrics. We have "I picture you when you are all alone", "I am the shadow, you're a passenger", "I'll be the limit of your light again" and, of course, "give me all that you can give" with "and if you want to give me anything, then give (give in again)".
Vessel is describing himself as literal darkness; he's a shadow in the gloom and whoever this is is a star glowing in the darkness. A light he aims to dampen because he wants a taste of that light. A taste of them.
However, it's this desperation for attention that gets me. "Give me all that you can give" is an easy example; he's desperately giving all he can possibly give in hopes of getting the same, or more, back. It's repeated over and over, half begging half demanding with soft dulcet tones and promises that he'll be watching for their enemies, to let them know that they contend with him etc.
Give becomes this two-faced thing of someone giving with all their might to someone who is afraid to trust, bringing up empathy from us, and someone who will not accept anything except everything. It's this sexually charged fight between who is a victim (or if there really is one here) and who is the abuser.
Further, to "give in" is to 'cease fighting or arguing; admitting defeat.' It's something primal and angry hidden under, or rather, mixed with passion, and it's incredibly well hidden.

*walks back in here*
Alright but I raise you Billy not realizing he has a connection to magic in small form but instead that he has a connection to the Rock of Eternity itself regardless of form.
And then this kid proceeds to do not-quite teleportation by opening the nearest doorway to Eternity, fully closing the door behind him, and then walking right back out to somewhere completely different. Portals with literal extra steps and absolutely no effort on his part after he the first four times.
Only concern he has is something following him in or—even worse—out of Eternity before he notices. This is room for plot though so I’m still good on this one.
(It’s late but it occurs to me we sort of saw this in the first movie?? But not to the extent I’m talking about, probably. The goal wasn’t crossing distance quickly it was just leaving I think.)
Anyway yeah Batman in the early days realizing Captain Marvel has literally never used his zeta tube locations. Like ever. And yet he’s still always right on time or a little early.
I absolutely love this idea! It makes so much sense that Billy is connected to the Rock of Eternity and that he doesn't quite understand the implications of that (like say being able to do magic).
Billy just ducking into the Rock of Eternity by opening a random storage closet door, then popping out somewhere in another country because that's where he heard he was needed. He's always on time because he just needs a door and he'll be there (and then he's got super speed on top of that).
Batman high key thinks he's capable of some kind of teleportation (and he's not even wrong exactly) but he can't prove it one way or the other because no one ever sees him do anything. Except perhaps once or twice someone thought they saw a cave on the other side of a perfectly normal door that they'd used a million times. But of course nothing was there when they went to check it out.
Also yeah the movies did touch on this, though it was implied that they could only do it in their powered up forms. But it would be so cool if they (or at least Billy) could open those portals on their own in kid form.
I think there could be a really cool story about something/someone following Billy through the door when he's in too much of a rush to close it all the way. The drama would be so good.
Thanks for the ask!
