if any americans who see this care about the election beyond "vote blue no matter who", CNN and other news sites have lists of the dates of primaries (smaller elections that the big parties use to determine who they're gonna have run for the big election) and other election related stuff up so if you don't like genocidin' biden maybe vote for a different democrat in the primaries and then we won't have to vote for biden to avoid 100000 year nightmare terror republican ultramegadictatorship
CNN: https://www.cnn.com/election/2024/calendar
NBC: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-primary-elections/calendar
270 to win:https://www.270towin.com/2024-presidential-election-calendar/
(270 to win is a presidential election based thing if u haven't heard of them)
Im sure ill get the usual reading comprehensionless tumblr user claiming this will split the blue vote and cause that red wave that didn't happen in 2022 to manifest but no it wouldn't. the democratic catchphrase is "vote blue no matter who" so who cares if it isn't genocidin' biden? it's "no matter who" right?
realistically the new president will keep sending weapons to isreal but maybe if biden loses the primaries cause of doing so they'll send slightly fewer guns? probably wishful thinking but still

Thalia's color is ultramarine, Jason's color is cyan, Percy's is teal, Bianca's is green, Nico's is olive, and Hazel's is gold.
The big 3 kids make a color gradient in order (Zeus [sky] > Poseidon [ocean] > Hades [underground]) hope this helps

i think the most annoying part of dog food discourse is how many people will act as though proplan/hill’s/Royal canin diets aren’t extremely and prohibitively expensive and that THAT is the reason so many people look into healthy alternatives.
People complain about corn being in the first five ingredients on most of those feeds because, regardless of other factors here, that is not an expensive ingredient. But it makes up a large chunk of the dry food. So the dry food should be fairly affordable, right?
Oh… with tax you’re spending about $100 for one 45lb bag of food where the third ingredient is wheat and the fourth and fifth ingredients are corn.
Oh… well! It’s slightly cheaper! But the second ingredient is rice, third is wheat, fourth is corn, and then fifth is poultry byproduct. None of those are very expensive so this just must be the low end cost of dog food unfortunately. The vets recommend it so surely that means prices aren’t inflated, right?
Oh? This one has similar ingredients with the only real difference being no corn? And it’s half the price?? Well surely that’s just a fluke.
Oh. Oh no.
This one even has CORN in it and it’s $20 cheaper?? Wow!
Like listen at some point I don’t care if your dog food has the ichor of the gods in it, I’m not spending $100 every five days if there are cheaper options with just as many “good” ingredients in it. If you think I’m a dog abuser because I can’t afford this overpriced garbage, that’s too bad. I don’t care. My dogs are perfectly healthy with the food I give them. Great weight and great coat. People giving dog food recommendations that aren’t those top three hyper-expensive dog foods aren’t trying to epic own those dastardly vets half the time, but I really don’t blame the ones who do lose trust in vets when the only heartworm protection they recommend lately are expensive triple-action brands like Simparica Trio that costs $120+ as opposed to the other heartworm protections that are only about $40-$60 on average, which is still cheaper even if you add on a $20-$40 flea and tick protection separately, and only recommend dog food that costs $85+ a bag even if your dog doesn’t have specialized dietary needs.
Those top three foods are GREAT at making competent prescription diets, I don’t deny that. I do still have to criticize the pricing of those prescription diets though because I have spoken to DOZENS of people who had to pull their pets off of a prescription diet and struggle to find something comparable because they couldn’t afford the food, and that’s terrible! These are not poor companies! Purina, Royal Canin, and Hill’s can ABSOLUTELY afford to lower their prices to make their food accessible to people who need it for their animals but they don’t. They probably never will. Because at the core they are run by greedy corporations. It doesn’t matter how many good nutritionists are on board if the company is run by people who put profits over customers and make the food impossible for people to afford.

I wish it were more common for people to accept that trans people are often going to have very complex relationships with a lot of things - sexuality, gender, presentation, even growing up.
I'm just really disheartened when I see people expecting trans people to neatly fit into boxes that ridgedly force us to conform. I'm really disheartened with the idea that in order to "really" be a true man, woman, or person, you have to have the right experiences rather than authentic ones. And oftentimes, the "right" experiences for us to have are whatever make cis people (or even other trans people) the most comfortable. It's never truly about the individual's experiences or comfort.

I - don’t think the actors/writers strike is about money.
Hear me out.
It’s about money to the actors/writers. And it will be decided by money. But the money isn’t the reason the entertainment companies are going so hard about this and being so tyrannical and mustache twirling. As has been pointed out on multiple fronts, what the actors and writers are asking for isn’t really going to put that much of a dent in what the entertainment companies have been making.
This is about control.
It’s about control of how the future of the entertainment field will go but even more than that?
I think this is about a very small group of people being determined to keep control of a vast amount of people. I think this is about that small group of people realizing that if they give in to the demands of the workers, the workers will have taken the control of how the entertainment industry is going to work from that point on away from them. That small group of people will no longer have a dictatorship position of unchallenged power, able to do whatever they want to whoever they want without consequences. These are tyrants of companies instead of countries but the core basics in just about every aspect is the same including in some cases the amount of people they have dominion over. If the CEOs agree to give in to the demands of the workers, they will have lost their power over them and over the future of how entertainment is run. And I think that’s why this is such a huge deal to them and why they’re being so completely intractable and slamming down every attempt to get them to bend even the smallest amount. It’s why they’re so vocal about their intentions of crushing this rebellion against their lordship completely. This isn’t about appeasing the stockholders. This is about maintaining control so that they can continue to rule like the despots they think they are.
But like I said, I think money will decide this. Because the shareholders aren’t interested in ruling over the peons. They’re interested in making money. And, at the end of the day, the tyrants may be able to convince them in the short term that refusing is in their best interest but once the companies start losing money - or even looking like they’re going to start losing money - the shareholders will force the CEOs to capitulate. And the CEOs, who like to think they’re untouchable, will have to either do what their masters say or be replaced with someone that will. So the CEOs are on a time limit, and they know it. They need to break the unions before the shareholders stop trusting them and start worrying about the companies bleeding money. If the unions can hold out until the companies start losing money and the shareholders decide that’s not acceptable, the CEOs will have to surrender. But right now, the CEOs are counting on breaking them before that and they’re doing it, not for the money, but for the control.
I’m not in the entertainment industry. I sure as heck don’t know any CEOs personally. I’m just spitballing here. But the creatives are asking for so little I just can’t find any other reason that the entertainment industries are being so openly brutal and not even trying to hide their villain level approach in such a public venue instead of just quietly negotiating and giving into most of the very reasonable demands that wouldn’t even put that much of a dent in the end profit. So it can’t be about money.
It’s the control of the future of the entertainment industry and how its going to run.
