These are the chapter house stairs in Wells Cathedral. Someday I’d love to do a supercut of every time these show up on screen. Apparently a lot of filmmakers think they’re perfect for their hero to race up or down while escaping the castle, or to have a swordfight on. They’ve appeared in every other Robin Hood movie or TV series, and anything else where they want a medieval castle feel and some derring-do.
I first noticed them in 1984, when Robin of Sherwood ran up them, took a sharp right through a doorway, and met Maid Marion for the first time. I saw them most recently in Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves - and sat up and went “Aww!”, because they might be 700 years old, but they’re also old friends by this point.

THANK YOU!!, it's my alt Jaime design. Dia de los Muertos themed.
However this was a redraw of that particular design/drawing. I made him more of a skeleton recently. (Also this is him when he was human etc. he's from a different story? With my old HS friend.)

hi just wanted to take a moment to explain to anyone unfamiliar with Me. i am very very bad at answering asks. a lot of the time i rb an ask game, get a good bunch of asks, and forget to answer em. and then i put it off for so long that i think "oh too much time has passed since they sent it its gonna be awkward" and i end up never answering it

It was a stupid bet.
And a stupid bet is often made between stupid people.
Wen Chao was one. Wei Wuxian was the other.
'I bet you can't even last a day' Wen Chao sneered.
Wei Wuxian likes to prove people wrong.
He doesn't come out for two days.
And when he does, he's smiling. But it doesn't quite feel right...
Wen Chao's body is found first, in the start of April. The police declare it murder and open a case.
(His fingers were cut up, his eyes rolled back so deeps. His mouth is open--what's that inside?)
They close the case with no suspect.
Wei Wuxian comes back to his and NHS's shared flat late... smiles at NHS and tells him to sleep soundly.
His smile doesn't feel quite right...
He starts disappearing everyday, no one knows where he goes, not even Lan Wangji knows.
He comes home with the smell of something pungent. NHS whines about it. He laughs it off and says something about garbage.
What kind of garbage smells like that?
Wei Wuxian has been acting differently. Everyone agrees.
He's not... loud, not present. He disappears almost everyday no one ever sees him.
He comes home late, smells differently each time. He spaces out during conversations, standing stiff, staring into nothing, call out his name he never answers. He just stares, stares, stares-
Then one day he's gone.
Like the wind, no traces of him, his belongings aren't gone, no clothes taken, no money withdrawn. All identification documents were left behind, he took nothing with him.
The last to see is his roommate NHS.
In the park, walking straight towards the forests.
