Hi there :D a good while ago you talked about some stories you liked and there’s one I keep thinking about that i’d like to read… but I don’t remember what it’s called so i was hoping you would remember it… :’) I think it was about a guy in a post-apocalyptic world who liked it better living after the apocalypse because he no longer felt the burden of modern society…? Something like that I think. Sorry to bother you with an ask about it; i looked for it in your blog but I couldn’t find it again. In any case it’s because I really like RAAU a lot and would like to read more things like that :D thanks :D
Zom100 Bucket list of the dead! It has a very good anime adaptation. And yes, it's about a salaryman who is so destroyed by modern toxic workplace culture that the apocalypse frees him and he dedicates the rest of his life to doing everything he wants to and being kind. He meets other people who have been beaten down by modern society in their own ways along the way. I really love it a lot.
Only slightly related, but I was just mentioning this and recently finished the first season, but Campfire Cooking in another world is also a great series about a salaryman getting the chance to enjoy life but instead of zombies it's an isekai and instead of a bucket list its food. You'll like it if you like dungeon meshi.
Other series that inspired RAAU are Yokohama shopping log, about an android running a cafe in the twilight of humanity, and Girls Last Tour, about two women and their tank exploring the ruins of a distant apocalyptic future together.
There's also Do It Yourself which I only just recently started watching, about high schoolers running a DIY club in a near future setting hat's probably gonna end up effecting RAAU going forward lol. It's anime original so it's complete. And I haven't gotten around to watching it myself, but Yuru Camp fits somewhere in among those recs too.

Hi! I saw your recent reels on IG & passed out. Did you immediately recall those pieces/their names when you first saw/heard the songs?! I went on IG to look at her fashion over the past year to make better sense of it now having the album in hand, only to see your posts! So fun to look back at the whole picture now.
I’m now *positive* she remembers your work and knows things will likely be identified, don’t you think?!
LOL this made me laugh. I remembered immediately!
The thought of that (Taylor planting fashionable Easter eggs with the intent of me translating them to the fanbase) is ... pretty insane. A very high compliment / delusion that I can barely bring myself to entertain. But is cry-worthy to think of nonetheless.

things will get better even if it may not seem like it now
i think i have to come to terms with the fact that it realistically won't. i am 23 and have been trying to make it better and cope and hold on for better days as long as i can remember. i am an incredibly isolated and mentally ill person and i will probably exist in this time loop of caring for my mother and working and grieving and drinking and going to sleep until i am old myself and it's really hard to feel positive about that because there is no progression here but it is quite literally the only option i have. there is no opportunity for much else. i know life could be a lot worse and im trying to be grateful. but there is nothing to look forward to. sorry for saying all this lol and thank you v much for the kind words ❤️ it is much appreciated, i just think this is honestly it and it's hard to cope with

FEELING IS THE SECRET to manifesting WEIGHT LOSS
I've been losing weight eating whatever i want and not doing any kind of exercise.
And this time I've actually given up on robotic affirming because the pounds would not shed as fast as I wanted. I started visualizing, feeling it and believing what i see is me and it is REAL. Especially before sleeping like Neville Goddard says, but also throughout the day. It does help though to close my eyes and really feel it for 20 mins or so before i fall asleep.
The more you feel skinny, the more u become it, and it doesnt take ⭐️ving. It takes just feeling skinny, so ask yourself more like how can i make myself feel this more than 50% of the day at least? what do i have to imagine? how should i be moving my body or saying to myself in my mind about myself?
it takes discipline of course, but do u want it?
the key is persistance and not checking the 3d.
some people using subliminals lost 1-2 pounds per day, so not seeing a huge drop the first day u do this shouldn t be worrying.
as for food, i make sure after every meal i imagine and feel myself skinnier. for example although my belly might be over my jeans i visualize my flat belly underneath and keep on that thought/visualization as long as i can, or go to other parts of my body and visualize them skinny for 10-20 min after i eat.
wherever i am, i pretend i'm skinny and even though i don t feel it all the time, i choose to ignore it when i don't.
sometimes people around me would notice i'm slimmer but they don t say anything, and instead of asking them "have i lost weight?" i just tell myself in my mind: he/she noticed i lost weight, woohoo! after a few days they start telling me. because if i were to ask, my fears would most likely manifest and i wouldn t like their answer, so better keep it to myself so i don t regret it.
also, i don t have a mirror and i don t use a scale so i take pictures sometimes and compare them and i'm like wow there s actually a difference.
but then it kinda messes with my head a bit so i try to only take pics when i feel extra skinny.
i also imagine skinny girls eating and getting skinnier as best as i can. and tell myself eating makes me lose.
i still use robotic affirmations for other things, but not this, since i remembered as a child someone noticed i lost weight after feeling myself skinnier before sleep to "try it out" see if it works and i was super happy for that but i didn t know it takes persistance, otherwise i would be much further in my manifestations by now. lol.

impressions from the hades ii technical playtest
absolutely chock full of spoilers but also theories
Amazing gameplay, feels just as good as Hades 1 with improvements and creative changes. So many different builds/play styles will be possible. in the dev stream they talked about melee close quarters vs sorcery ranged, but I find myself doing HEAVY spellcasting while also stacking in heavy melee boons on the knives, and mixing and matching.
The boons have a few familiar perks but so many of them are new and creative, even for gods we know from the first game. All of them feel really good.
The SOUND EFFECTS are amazing. The sounds of your weapons change based on the boon equipped to each attack. the sounds of the arena change depending on the god at the end (if any). Nothing and I mean nothing makes the dopamine go off more than the sound of Hephaestus' boon blasts when I do my fan of knives and they all explode. PING PING PING.
I find myself doing "resource runs" and "story runs." they do overlap. It's tough to only have one harvesting item equipped at a time and I spent so much time looking for silver and looking that my eye has started slipping over the lone spirits who gives you psyche, even when Selene leads me to them lol. I do like that they have her guiding light, but it is subtle. I also like the way you can pin certain items when you're in a run so you can remember what you needed for a recipe.
Unfortunately I did so many harvest runs that I actually got all the recipes before I had a chance to USE forget me not on a run so.... woops on that fated list lol.
We are maybe going to romance Moros or Nemesis (probably both are options?) but maybe not both at the same time? since they're siblings technically (technically) (I wouldn't mind though). I love all these children of nyx and want to protect them and smooch them all.
EXCEPT. Mel is a Silver Sister, with Artemis and Selene. Does that mean she's gotta be a virginal girl squad? lol
I love sister Artemis. I love that she throws snacks!!!!! which is even more endearing bc it's fried and a chocolate bar and soda. I wonder if sometimes I hear a note of disapproval from her and I wonder where her plot will go later. Selene it's said may not be able to reach us in Tartarus, but Artemis might.
Speaking of found family.
I fucking adore Odysseus. I love Od. So. Much. Like I loved Achilles but Od is such a good girl dad for Mel, and his pep talks are the best and so sensitive ;_; what a guy I love him.
I think? that Hecate's familiars must be placeholders, since they're just little statues that vibrate when you give them treats. I can't wait to see where they go in the full game.
It's an interesting take on Hestia, that she hates everybody. It makes me wonder if we'll see Hera or not, since I kind of expect that behavior from Hera.
Hephaestus and Demeter and Aphrodite remain my favorite boon givers.
As far as I can tell there is no fishing rod in the playtest but there will be in the full game and I'm excited.
Arachne's self esteem hurts me 😫 I love you little bug!!!! I wonder if we'll find her shop in Olympus or in Tartarus -- and I worry about her. At least Athena is too busy to bother her! I hope! I love Mel's different outfits.
The amount of pets that Mel gets to have is delightful. I love her frog so much.
Hecate is fascinating. She is SUCH a mother, she is SO compassionate to Mel and trying to build her up! She is wry and dry but never cruel or negative. I love her sm. Poor Mel has some low self esteem and understandable doubts and is putting so much pressure on herself. And I really wonder about Hecate's relationship with Persephone and the house of Hades and with nyx. Nemesis says something that makes me wonder if Hecate is innocent. Either way I don't think she'll really be a villain. My heart would break if so. Mel would break.
Mel is so sweet and pure. ;_; and she says "death to chronos" so coldly. When she says "Hence I go" I just hear her as a little baby playing hide and seek with Hecate and it gives me so many feelings.
I want to know about Mel's arm!
I can't wait to see the other regions just from the Crossroads, since there's currently two doors we can't enter.
Also what are we going to DO with the fish?
Very exciting stuff.

"Hey stop tickling me" Wanda giggled trying to get out of your lap where she had been sitting in comfortably for the last few hours.
You had driven the two of you out in the fields to have a picnic. The past few weeks had been really stressful and both of you needed a break. The scenery around you was beautiful. Trees shaking slightly in the light breeze, the humming of bees in the air between the beautiful flowers and fluffy little clouds in the sky. The cozy blanket you had put on the ground protecting your clothes from getting grass stains.
While you had prepared some sandwiches and snacks to bring, Wanda had handpicked strawberries from her little garden.
Wanda rolled out of your grasp laying down next to you on the blanked. She pulled you down so she can rest her head on your belly. "It looks like an elephant" she said excitedly. "What?" you chuckled confused. "Look" she raised her hand and pointed to the sky. You followed her movement with your eyes then raising your gaze to the clouds. "That one right there" Wanda remarked excitedly. Then you saw the cloud she was referring to. "It actually does" a smile formed on your lips "and that one over there looks like an alpaca".
This went on for a while each of you pointing out funny little clouds that travelled above you. Both of you enjoyed the calmness of the moment.
After some time you felt Wanda shuffle, but before you could say something, she was pushing a strawberry into your mouth. "Wha-" you got out as you swallowed the fruit after having chewed it a bit, but were quickly interrupted by her lips meeting yours. You started kissing her back and she smiled when she tasted the strawberry on your lips. "I love you my little strawberry" she whispered to you before deepening the kiss.

Have an itty bitty tiny piece of stasis in darkness, just so you all have an idea of where the story is going after the godly reveal. and also have proof that i am, in fact, still toiling away at this (as well as hawkins halfway house.)
A week and a half later, Steve entered a town he’d never seen before. He wore simple traveling clothes and carried no weapons aside from a couple of carefully hidden knives. He’d left his armor and shield behind. His satchel held only the essentials one needed for travel and a single stone as large as his fist. The stone was wrapped in layers of cloth to keep it safe during the journey.
I need you to find someone.
He felt very bare but he hadn’t been given much of a choice. Speed was of the essence for his quest, and little no-name towns tended to be wary of strangers in plain clothes, even more so around strangers decked out for battle. Steve wasn’t sure this place could be called a town. It was so small it hadn’t been on any official map. It didn’t even have an inn. Hopefully, Steve wouldn’t be needing an inn once he found who he was looking for.
He’s too far from me to reach.
He asked around, laying on the charm generously. He explained he had been a friend of a friend and had been trusted to deliver something. Eventually, he was told where to go. The house he found far beyond the village’s boundary was small. It looked like it had once been well cared for but it was old and had fallen to disrepair. Steve took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
A sallow old man opened the door. He was bald but had some scruff on his face still. His shoulders, stooped from age, trembled. His eyes were bloodshot. He looked so tired.
He’s my very last worshiper in all the world.
“Wayne Munson?” Steve asked.
“Who wants to know?” The man’s voice was phlegmy and rough. He coughed into the crook of his elbow almost before he could finish speaking.
“I’m Steve. Ser Steve Harrington, pledged to the Lord of Night.”
Wayne’s eyes widened. His grip on the open door weakened and slipped. Steve caught the door before it could hit Wayne.
“He sent me to you,” Steve explained. “May I come in?”
yep, that's it for now. i told you it was small. i'm not even gonna bother with a read-more here.
