so after the gang war is kind of a recovery phase for the characters, as well as integrating the members of the former rival gang into the friend group - the thing everyone has in common is recovering from the trauma caused by thresher, who is now dead. and we've established that shipwreck was the one who killed him.

after shipwreck overcomes the guilt and trauma of Killing A Guy For Real, sharky slowly starts to act more and more like thresher without realizing it, which drives everyone away from him, especially shipwreck, who decides to shut sharky out of his life as much as possible. like, he breaks up with him, moves back to his old house, fires sharky from his job and tries to avoid him at all costs. sharky begins to notice exactly how alike he's becoming to thresher and takes time to work on himself and get rid of those behaviors before he approaches shipwreck and tries to make amends, which they do successfully. im pretty sure i've covered all this already.

but today i got the idea of sharky presenting shipwreck a toy dart gun and asking him to shoot him in the head with it, to "kill the thresher in his brain", in a sense. sort of as a symbol of sharky changing to be the better man he was before all that, and of shipwreck forgiving him. although, in contrast to thresher facing away from shipwreck and restraining sharky when he was killed, sharky faces shipwreck, hands in the air, begging him to shoot him in the face with a foam dart. and once he does, they laugh, sharky asks "we're back?", shipwreck says "we're so back", and they hug, much like how sharky ran up to hug shipwreck after he saved him from thresher. the scenario played out in my head earlier n i thought it was cute, i think it should be canon
