"Hey stop tickling me" Wanda giggled trying to get out of your lap where she had been sitting in comfortably for the last few hours.
You had driven the two of you out in the fields to have a picnic. The past few weeks had been really stressful and both of you needed a break. The scenery around you was beautiful. Trees shaking slightly in the light breeze, the humming of bees in the air between the beautiful flowers and fluffy little clouds in the sky. The cozy blanket you had put on the ground protecting your clothes from getting grass stains.
While you had prepared some sandwiches and snacks to bring, Wanda had handpicked strawberries from her little garden.
Wanda rolled out of your grasp laying down next to you on the blanked. She pulled you down so she can rest her head on your belly. "It looks like an elephant" she said excitedly. "What?" you chuckled confused. "Look" she raised her hand and pointed to the sky. You followed her movement with your eyes then raising your gaze to the clouds. "That one right there" Wanda remarked excitedly. Then you saw the cloud she was referring to. "It actually does" a smile formed on your lips "and that one over there looks like an alpaca".
This went on for a while each of you pointing out funny little clouds that travelled above you. Both of you enjoyed the calmness of the moment.
After some time you felt Wanda shuffle, but before you could say something, she was pushing a strawberry into your mouth. "Wha-" you got out as you swallowed the fruit after having chewed it a bit, but were quickly interrupted by her lips meeting yours. You started kissing her back and she smiled when she tasted the strawberry on your lips. "I love you my little strawberry" she whispered to you before deepening the kiss.

2. What's your feel-good movie? I'd say Spirited Away, I love that movie.
3. What's your favorite candle scent? I'm gonna be honest with you, I'm not big on candles. I like them, but I hardly know any scents by name. I definitely don't like anything too sweet tho.
4. What flower would you like to be given? I've always liked sunflowers. But lilacs and lavander also have a special place in my heart.
5. Who do you feel most you around? Definitely my mom.
6. Say three nice things about yourself (three physical and three non-physical). Oh god (can you feel the panic here?) I like my hair, it's probably one of the things I like most on myself. I like my eyes too, they have a pretty color. I like all my tattoos, if this doesn't count as physical, I'm also starting to like the shape of my body.
I like how I can easily adapt to different environments. I like my will to do things and not stop until I get them right. And I like how quick I can learn new skills.
7. What color brings you peace? I'd say a very light shade of blue mixed with green, that reminds me of the ocean.

"Can you just shut up for one minute? I am going insane if you keep talking" Wanda turned her head back to focus on the road again. The two of you had been arguing for the last few hours and at this point you don't even remember what started it. One minute you had been entering the car after a lovely weekend together, the next you yelled at each other. You hated fighting with your girlfriend, but who doesn't? It just seemed like this fight would take no end.
"Fine then I will shut up, I won't say another word to you today" and with that you crossed your arms in front of your chest and looked out of the window, head tuned so the woman next to you was not in your line of sight. You had been so worked up that you even considered asking her to stop so you can take an uber. But that's ridiculous. The anger was brodling inside of you and you could have snapped at any minute yelling even more at the redhead than you had before. You chewed on your lower lip to stay quiet and not say something you would regret immediately. You were so focused on yourself that you missed the single tear that rolled down Wanda's face.
The car was silent, the only sounds you could hear were coming from the engine. You didn't know how long you would have to sit in the car until you arrived, but you knew you wouldn't be the one breaking the silence. You wouldn't let her win this. An hour passed, then two and neither of spoke a word.
Then suddenly Wanda let out a gasp "it's beautiful". You turned your head around to figure out what she was talking about. When you didn't respond she raised her hand and pointed to the horizon in front of you. "Look, it's the golden hour" she whispered. You let out a small gasp as well when you saw what she is pointing at. A few minutes passed as you both stared at the beautiful sunset in front of you. Then Wanda broke the silence again "I'm sorry". "For what?" you replied, turning your head so you could face her. "I don't know actually. What were we even fighting about? I don't want to be mad at you anymore" she confessed. "I'm sorry as well. We are probably just exhausted from the weekend, that's all" you concluded "let's get home and just have a relaxing evening, just you me and a sitcom, you choose". "I love you" she whispered, shortly meeting your eyes with hers before looking back to the road again, she was still driving after all. "I love you too" you mumbled back before leananing over and pressing a soft kiss against her cheek.

10pm
She goes to sleep. You know that she is not okay. The mission went bad. The news doesn't help with dealing with the lost lives and screams off people that all of you heard and will be hearing for the next weeks. It became a pattern. You know how it goes. By her behavior you know she will be having an attack today. It's 10 pm and you make yourself a coffee. You are tired, and in pain you want to cry but something tells you that if you will, the whole world is going to end. You can't count on her. She is counting on you. And you know she will be needing you today.
1 am
She woke up. You hear her going to the kitchen, probably for a cup of water. It's a pattern. You know what will happen next, you just don't exactly know when. A pattern. You hear her putting the glass in the sink, she doesn't wash it. She thinks you're asleep. You pretend that you are, but you can't, you are too tired to sleep. The caffeine hits and your heart is pounding. You were on a mission and the last time you slept was an hour on the quinjet, before that you were awake for over 30 hours. You are tired. It's a pattern. You just want to…..
3am
You hear her. She woke up and started crying or maybe she was crying in her sleep. You can't be sure. She is mumbling and you can't understand it, you don't want to. She starts screaming. A pattern. You turn on your back. She starts screaming louder, she sounds like she is in pain. Nobody is getting up, they know that you got this. Do you? You need to, they expect you too. You are tired. You just want to…. You are getting up, dragging your feet to her room. You grab her and you can't wake her up. A pattern. You just want to…. She hugs you and cries on your shoulder while you lie with her. She doesn't want to but her power makes you see all of her nightmares. You are tired. She asks you to tell her that everything will be okay. A pattern. You tell her and you don't believe a single word that is coming out of your mouth. She is still crying. She falls asleep.
4am
You are tired. You lie down on the couch. She is asleep. For how long? She starts crying again in her sleep. You hope it will pass. Over 40 hours awake. You just want to….. you can't she counts on you. They all do. A single tear, you get up angry at yourself. " Turn it off, turn it off, turn it off, turn it off" a mantra. It's a pattern. You just want to…. She is screaming again, and you go and hold her as long as she needs too.
6 am
She fell asleep an hour ago. A balcony… a dawn, silence, you are tired and it's windy. Stark Tower is really high and you are really tired. You just want to….. Natasha woke up and went on the run with Steve. They are all waking up. You go to the kitchen to make yourself another coffee. You stopped counting the hours. She will come through this door soon, you let her sleep. You both will be pretending that nothing happened. She will eat, you can't. Your lungs are collapsing with pain, your throat hurts and you just want to…… a pattern. You want to… but you just have to start another day.

Imagine Fearless, Brush that Dirt off your shoulder. I didn’t get a picture with my sister for our last day as camp counselors together. So I can use our part time work as #avengers to fill in. It was really special to share this place I love so much with her and I’ve learned so much by her side each morning to late afternoon. I feel really unafraid of what comes next (especially a certain thing in October) and I can’t believe I can look at this picture from April and know how much better and stronger we are thanks to each other. #sheisnotalone
