Let's Build a Stim Board

This will be the process of how I make my stim boards, feel free to give me advice if you feel something could work better.

First things first, the theme, idea, or base, which will be the middle picture. I've decided to make it simple and choose a pride flag and not a character.

This trans flag will be the center image of the board, this will be what we base the colors and vibes off of.

The next step could either be figuring out the layout or figuring out some gifs to use. I think I'll do layout this time. There's quite a few ways to do a layout, especially with how simple this example is so we'll go with this one.

And now it's time to get gifs. The way that I do that is just looking on tumblr, but some people make their own gifs. I'll record the searches for every gif I choose or consider, as well as a link to the post it was found on. Out of personal preference I don't use slime or food gifs, but if you're making a board of your own feel free to use whatever you feel fits best.

I'm actually gonna make few stim boards with these gifs and post them separately to show the different ways one simple stim board can be taken. the themes will be Gems, Retro, and Nature (there's a 30 image limit to tumblr posts)

Hey there! I didn't know about stimboards until today (laaaaaate) If you haven't already answered would you mind talking a bit about what got you into making your own, the creation of a stimboard, sources and what your inspirations are?

I only learned about them recently, actually, from a mutual of mine on here. I decided to make them because it just seemed fun honestly.

For the creation of them, I try to match the gifs I use to sections of the picture that they'll set at. I also avoid food and slime gifs, as most use slime but that's not something I personally am into, and food can be triggering to some people and I have my own issues with food as well.

To make them I search for a picture and find one I like, and than I'll try to match colors and vibes with the picture as my inspiration. I usually just look up a color and maybe something like flowers or fabric or rain. All my sources are linked in the symbols under each stimboard.

Really my entire purpose with them is just to have fun, lol. Make something pleasing to me.

How the Obey Me Character Would React to Being Sad

Lucifer: he locks himself in his room or office and just does work. He doesn't let anyone see him.

Mammon: he pretends like everything is fine or covers for it with anger, but he locks himself in his room at night and cry's.

Leviathan: you can tell he's sad because he starts to shake before he cries, and than dashes to his room to be alone.

Satan: he has trouble processing his emotions so he ends up lashing out in anger if he's sad.

Asmodeus: he pretends he doesn't feel it and makes himself 'busy' to cover for it. He's rarely in the house if he's sad, since he's looking for a constant distraction.

Beelzebub: he internalizes it and tries to be strong for his brothers, but he'll end up eating less and exercising more.

Belphegor: he lashes out, but that makes him feel worse, so he locks himself away from things that make him happy to punish himself.

Diavolo: when he feels sad he doesn't want to be alone. He'll call someone he trusts over and just talk with them so he doesn't feel alone and manages to talk through it.

Barbatos: he makes food if he's feeling upset. He tries to stay as stoic as possible and it's hard to tell if he's sad or just on a baking spree.

Luke: he's a loud crier. He'll openly sob if he's comfortable with the people but than claim he didn't, and if he's not, he'll run if as soon as years start to well up.

Simeon: he doesn't necessarily get sad so much as upset. He's learned how to handle it pretty well, letting himself acknowledge that he feels sad and than letting it go.

Solomon: he doesn't really feel sad often. When he does it's shown to a minimum. He considers it weak to cry and feels like he's been alive long enough that he doesn't need to feel sad anymore.
