I feel like I need to explain more about Agatha’s transformation/magic ^^

Her ability to transform is indeed a magic unique, but it doesn’t even have a name, I mean, she’s still learning to control and use magic.

“But why does she turn into a wolf specifically in the beginning? ’‘ Because it’s my fault, she likes wolves and knows a lot about them including anatomy, skills and etc. And that’s where the key is, to transform into other carnivores she needs to know them from the inside out, not a simple reading she needs to know and take seriously, this happens by chance while reading more, she ended up turning into a caracal for example,and that’s when she grabbed the books to learn better and started asking Rook for help, I don’t even need to explain why he specifically right? XD

Everyone understood that this ability was a unique magic, except her

As well as she is still studying some animals require more magic than others due to their size and bearing:

Wolf, Caracal, Lynx and Hyena are medium/small animals although she’s five times their size naturally, so spending magic is relatively okay so as she’s still practicing she can stay 4 minutes in both forms.

Tiger, Bear and Lioness are bigger and stronger animals as well as muscular so this requires a lot of magic and insistence as exhaustion is certain.

Since she’s practicing some mistakes happen like just changing ears and tail. And yes, she didn’t just study hyenas for their jaw strength, endurance and intelligence…but her crush on Ruggie helped her to arouse more interest in them and start to like them too.

How do you make a character's backstory? Not what it needs but if you need to write it very detailed, simple or complexed for example

Guide: Character Back Stories

What is a Character Back Story?

From the day you're born, you begin racking up experiences that are a result of your environment, the people around you, and the things that happen to you. These experiences, and how they affected you, play a huge role in who you are at every stage of your life by influencing things like: personality, likes and dislikes, hopes and dreams, pet peeves and fears, wants and needs, skills and career, hobbies and interests, knowledge and the choices you make are all affected by your previous experiences. All of those things can be transformed over and over again throughout life, especially when we go through "life-changing" experiences.

We want our characters to feel as real as possible to our reader, so a part of creating a realistic character is understanding their personal history and the effect their past experiences have had on who they are when the story begins. In fact, part of the point of stories about people (both fiction and non-fiction) is to examine how their experiences (or, more importantly, a life-changing event) changes who they are. That's what we call a "character arc" in fiction.

How Do You Figure Out a Character's Back Story?

Different writers have different processes for figuring out a character's back story. Some writers like to create a fully fleshed out character and then figure out how that back story affects how they move through the plot. Other writers like to plot out how the character will move through the plot, then figure out what experiences might have led to those beliefs, desires, experiences, etc. And some people (like me) do a combination of the two, creating a basic framework for the back story, but tweaking and adding things as they become necessary throughout the story.

Cause and Effect: Experiences and Impact on Choices

Since your character's experiences affect who they become and the choices they make, it's important to consider the cause and effect relationship between experiences and choices. First, let's look at a possible experience and see if we can brainstorm some possibilities for how it might affect the character's traits:

Let's say your character survived a bad flood as a child. How might that experience impact the following traits?

Personality - they might be a little high strung and panicky because they never feel truly safe in their environment.

Likes and Dislikes - they might like things that feel safe and secure. They probably dislike things that involve being on or near water.

Hopes and Dreams - they may dream of living someplace inland where there aren't a lot of lakes and rivers. Or, maybe they dream of a career where they can prevent future floods.

Pet Peeves and Fears - they might be annoyed by people who enjoy water-related activities like fishing and boating. They might be afraid of big bodies of water and avoid being near it at all cost.

Wants and Needs - they might want or even need things that keep them away from bodies of water, like if they have to visit a place normally accessed by boat, they might need to find an alternate route, like flying or taking the long way by road.

Skills and Career - they may have acquired any number of survival skills during the flood, such as performing first aid and CPR. They may have enjoyed administering first aid during the flood, so they might choose a career as a first responder or medical personnel.

Hobbies and Interests - probably none of their interests and hobbies involve being on or near water. But maybe they have a strange fascination with painting bodies of water, or with reading about shipwrecks.

Knowledge and Choices - they may have a lot of knowledge about floods, why they happen, how things go wrong, what to do and not to do in a flood, laws and regulations meant to prevent flooding, knowing how water impacts the body, etc. And they may make choices that lead them to any of the above or away from them, as necessary.

These are all things you can brainstorm with a little thought, imagination, and research. But, if you can get a hold of The Positive Trait Thesaurus and The Negative Trait Thesaurus by Angela Ackerman and Becca Puglisi, do it... because these handy writing reference books not only walk you through potential causes of various traits, they also provide the behaviors and attitudes that commonly result from them. Knowing that helps you understand how your character's cynicism affects their choices and moves them through the story.

How to Implement Back Story as You Write

Since you have fleshed out the cause and effect of your character's experiences, you can start to look at things that happen in the story, then figure out how that resulting trait impacts any particular thing they have to say or do. You can do this systematically during the planning process, or you can do it as you write, always keeping in mind how these traits impact their choices.

How to Flesh Out/Organize Back Story Details

Your character's back story should be a part of the overall character development you do when you create your character, so how you flesh out and organize those details will depend on your planning process. You may want to include back story details in an overall character summary, or you might include them in a character profile. You can find templates for these all over online, just be cautious of templates that are too detailed. No one cares what your character's favorite gum flavor is, or whether they prefer glue or tape. Try to stick to fleshing out details that matter in the story, and the same is true of back story details.

Tips on how to start your own blog! 💌💋

Since many people have requested this, I'm gonna show you some of the tips that helped me and my blog expand! Feel free to take some of these with a grain of salt, there's always room for improvement! Most of these are pretty basic, but I still think they're worth mentioning. And now, staring with:

1. Grammar.

I can't tell you just how important grammar is, oh gosh. I've clicked away from so many fan fics because the grammar was that awful, sorry not sorry. If you're not a native English speaker writing can be a good way to practice your grammar but if you want it to look okay, there are apps out there that can help you spell check most things, or just do what I usually do - when I'm unsure how to type a specific word I just look it up on Google, and Google fixes it for me, and after writing it down so many times it sticks in my memory. This process is a bit slow though, but it does work, at least for me!

I'm not saying you're not allowed to make mistakes at all, that's not true! I make them all the time, but if they're few and far in between, people will be much more forgiving!

2. Tags.

Tag your stuff, tag your fics, tag your characters, tag your fandoms, tag everything! Not only will this help you clean up your blog, but your stuff has a higher chance of showing up in the main feed AND it'll be easier for other people to navigate through your blog and find the stuff they want to find.

3. Be very clear with your rules, and put them somewhere visible.

It is what it is, a lot of people just don't read the bio and that's a fact. You have a better chance of it being spotted if you pin it right at the top of your blog, even if the lazy people who don't like to read that stuff might get confused and think it's a new post but haha, you tricked them.

But yes, rules. What fandoms do you write for? How many requests are you willing to take? How many characters can people send in, so on so forth. What is something that you won't tolerate being sent in your inbox? Be very careful with this! And also, limiting your requests is actually a smart decision, don't be like me who piles them up! I have fortunately gotten better with this though!

4. Pick an aesthetic.

Okay, hear me out - people like things that are pretty and polished, we all know this. So, try making your blog look like that! Choose an aesthetic and try sticking to it, I was surprised to see just how much this helps! Also, decorate your blog by reblogging other aesthetics, moodboards, quotes, pictures, anything!

5. Don't be scared to try something new!

"Oh no, this is gonna suck!"

"No one will read this!"

STOP, I WILL bonk you over the head if I hear anyone talk about this! No matter how cringe you think your idea is, trust me, someone is going to like it and later, that someone will elaborate why they like it and that turns into a full on domino affect! I've written stuff which I thought wasn't that good and no one would like it but jokes on me, most of them turned out to be my most popular post! Do not be discouraged if someone talks down to you (or if you talk down to yourself) at least try. Even if it does flop, you can always try again

6. Talk to other creators!

I've noticed that a lot of people here are super shy to talk to their favorite content creators, or just others in general! While that can be a little wholesome, don't let that stop you from expanding and potentially learning something new, or just getting inspiration! I literally don't know a single person that would mind if you just sent a random "Hi!" in their private messages, if anything, you might just brighten up their day, I'm dead serious! Talk to other people, discuss what to write, exchange ideas!!

7. Reblog other fics!

By doing this, you are helping other blogs out by giving them exposure, and they could help you out in the exact same way! Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not encouraging you to make friends and interact with posts simply to gain exposure but it is what it is, that's a side affect of this! Besides, people will have more stuff to go through on your blog, and they can find more while they're at it! How cool is that?!

8. (OPTIONAL) Don't be shy to open up!

I understand that some people are very private, and that is perfectly fine! That is a very wise choice to stay private as much as possible on the internet, but in my opinion it's also okay to say a few things about yourself too! After a while, people get a little curious on the personalities of their favorite content creators, and by opening up you can connect better with your audience! You start to understand them and why they followed you to begin with, and by doing so you can see what they like and dislike, and what you can write to make them happy in the future!

9. Have fun.

Your passion for writing will bleed into your craft, even if it doesn't seem like it when you start! If you truly care about the characters and the story you're writing about, it's impossible to hide it, even behind a screen! People will be dazzled by your ideas and they'll want more! Be mindful of yourself however, and don't go overboard. If life is getting to you, or you just don't have the energy, take breaks and unwind. Come back when you can, everyone will be patiently waiting for you. Writing, especially fanfiction, should be a fun and light-hearted experience, it's something that should come from the heart and pure passion! At the end of the day it's all just harmless fun that's meant to be enjoyed by everyone!

How would Evonie, Allison, Briar, Vidya and Cerule react to the dorm leaders asking them to be their wing woman so they can woo MC, especially if its at the same time

Evonie would question why he needs a wingman since Vil seems like he's got enough confidence already. But maybe he just needed someone to hold the "will you date me?" Card for him 😆

Allison would tease Riddle and say outright he damn well should have a wingman cause all he knows is rules and study which is kinda not exciting.

Briar is like a proud mother that Malleus needs a wingman. He should because he is precious and a bit of a dork.

Vidya is there to make sure Kalim doesn't overdo it and overwhelm whoever he is confessing to. She knows how he is and he tends to get waayyy too excited.

Cerule's idea is a romantic boat ride to a lake with singing, she will make sure this is a success. Bout damn time Azul tries to open up!
