Here I talk about worldbuilding stuff i do for the books I'm writing.
But sometimes I might just goof off gayly and bisexually with Lovecraftian shitposts that are complete cognitohazards. Absolutely incomprehensible stuff, utterly mindboggling. Bamboozling bizarre even.
alright, last one! the newest episode of Pulp Musicals has been released on spotify (give it a listen!!!! it's so good omfg) so here's some hopefully-not-too-spoiler-y art for The Ghosts Of Antikythera. details are, you guessed it, under the cut. 😆🖤
My Theories For Upcoming Pulp Musicals Episodes ‼️
These are all based on how the first two episodes were directly inspired by existing 19th century sci-fi.
First off is the Mysterious Island, which is pretty much confirmed since half the crew was sent to the *same* island as the one in the books! (Ie Lincoln Island)
Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is functionally a sequel to The Mysterious Island, given the ending of the book including one of the major characters from TTLUTS. (Not gonna name them cause I'm betting they'll show up in the episode!!)
From here on out there's no proof, I'm just going with vibes.
War of the Worlds maybe they finally get back to New York, only for the Martians (or whatever Kal's people is) attacks. 1870s is around the same time that Mars came down to Earth after all!
The Things that Live in Mars One of the first instances of genuine Speculative Evolution, courtesy of HG Wells himself. If Mars attacks, then maybe Rose, Samuel, Margaret, and John ends up there too! Again it could literally be Martians, or Kal's people.
From the Earth to the Moon this feels like something that will happen at some point considering that this whole journey started with them making up a lie about life on the moon, then escalating into going to space and then time travelling.
The virgin Heathers: Killing your high school bully might seem like a good idea but you'll regret it because you'll, like, feel bad about it and it won't solve your *real* problems
The chad Nerdy Prudes Must Die: Killing your high school bully WILL solve all your problems and you won't feel guilty about it in the slightest but you'll still regret it because he'll come back as a ghost and fucking kill you
I started sketching some Pulp Musicals characters around midnight last night and thought to myself, "hey, these look pretty damn good!" so I kept going until 3 am. Today I brought 'em into clip studio to play with them some more, and now I have these!! plus my silly doodles and dumb commentary + jokes. <3
and some versions w/o color! the traditional + digital sketching is a neat combination, I think.
hey just to let you all know I'm working on a bunch of new art, including that 2nd part to that spectember cutting room floor that's long overdue. Fan art for an artist that's a huge inspiration for me. And several pieces for a project i have yet to share my contribution on here.
YESSSSSS OHMAHGAWD THAT'S PERFECT ‼️‼️‼️‼️ AND LAUREN'S DRAG OHMAHGAWD 🥺🥺🥺
Since the lords in black wears different clothing depending on who's summoning them, what do y'all think they were wearing when the cultists used to summon them?
I imagine it's something like a 20th century high society party
Wiggly's the lord of the house, with an ornate suit
Nibbly's the spoiled little princess, with an extravagant gown
Tinky's the kooky mad scientist, with a Dr Frankenstein get up
Blinky's the trespassing press, with a reporter's outfit
Pokey's the actor and honoured guest, with an even more ornate suit and a gala mask
BONUS:
Webby's the rebel that runs off, wearing normal working class clothes, echoing Anastasia maybe?
Just woke up from a dream about a weird nightmare time season 3. Here's a rundown:
Hannah does street racing with some delinquent kids money
Shapiro and Bailey chases them, but they out speeds and out ma maneuver them across the streets
Cut to Paul and Emma I think? With another family chilling in their house. Probably Lex and Ethan, I'm not sure cause it felt like I was in the room.
Shapiro and Bailey shows up in the house to take away Hannah's prize money, then she runs away crying.
Meanwhile Bailey goes outside to a vending machine for a soda.
This next sequel is extremely unclear because it literally flashed around like those 5 second trailers, but I think Hannah or someone else kills Bailey????
Then Hannah is chased around the fruit section in Lakeside Mall.
There is a nigh scene inside a corridor somewhere but I forgot what happened.
It ends with Hannah on the bus, alone. Then is someone else there that might be an antagonist idunno? And Hannah's eyes glows and floats inside the bus for a fight I think?
Funny little coincidence how it's a show called *nightmare* time and I had a dream about it 😭 this feels like a fucking prophecy lmao I might have a touch of the gift frfr
forgot i made this but here's some lineless art of my sona's head (or at least a member of their species) back when i still used auto desk sketchbook for digital art.

Best part of this is that it can be in any time period depending on who's summoning them
