Donât worry, youâre good. I didnât really think of the bully x victim dynamic and from that angle, I can see why Batmeat does get hate, just not the amount.
I more so take an issue with the fact the fandom will list traits why shipping Batmeat is bad, then turn around and like ships with the same traits.
Again if the bully x victim dynamic was the problem, why do I see the fandom condoning Ratmeat or literally any Bob ship ever, when they fall into bully x victim because Bob only sees people as food and can overpower them, even if they can fight back. Or Holyfire where Ignacio has to be submissive towards Skidâs dad because he is the cult leader (and the fact Ignacio is a victim of the cult too)
Another smaller issue I didnât bring up is how the fandom, in general, is unable to understand people ship in different ways. Like, not everyone ships a pair for a wholesome romantic reasoning, other might ship to explore the characters though it, including dark and toxic themes.
Overall the SpookyMonthtwt needs to chill out with harmless not illegal ships, and learn how to block and mute.
