Sims Update is a Game Changer for Easy Money Making
I know the money-making trash can in The Sims 4 isn't anything new, but the most recent update actually adds a feature that will stop your Sims from throwing your simoleons down the drain.
If you aren't aware, the latest update added the ability for you to designate which sinks are for kitchen, bathroom, or all uses. This is their fix for Sims washing their dishes to the bathroom.
This made me wonder if there was a way to use this to keep Sims from washing any dishes at all. Lo and behold, it actually works! Just click each sink and set the sink type to "Bathroom". In my test, this made it so the sims would pick up the the dish and immediately set it back down.
Now you don't have to micromanage your Sims and frantically try to cancel their autonomous need to wash up. Is it perfect? No, but it's a step in the right direction. After your Sim finishes their meal, just drag those dirty dishes into the NanoCan Touchless Trash Can and start watching those simoleons roll in. The more Sims you have in your household, the more you will make from each dish.
It would be so much better if they would autonomously throw the plate away when that trash can is on the lot. I can imagine all of the plates that might pile up in a full household, but the payoff will likely be worth it if you are doing a rags to riches or legacy challenge.
If you run into any issues tryting this out in your normal gameplay, please let me know! I did playtest this, but it was on a small scale considering the update came out this week. Then I can update this to alert other players of potential problems as well.

You can download this lot from the gallery (EA ID: pixellefaire) or on Patreon (free). The gallery is saying that these use mods/cc when I add them to the gallery even after removing everything from the Mods folder. I'm not sure if this is a glitch from the new update or a different issue. I think you should be fine if you have all of the packs used.
There are two lots. One has a pond that your sims can't swim in. I like this look better, but the other is more functional.
The other version has a pool shaped like a pond so your sims can swim in it -- though I like the look of the other version better.

no shade to the teens and early twenties bloggers but it’s hard finding people within my age group that are active and continue to contribute here in the community.
also idk if anyone else experiences this but sometimes it can be difficult relating to the younger population due to generational differences, pop culture, etc.

Create a Sim September | Day 11: Holiday
I wasn't feeling any of your traditional holidays, so I looked to see if there were any of those random holidays that seem to be made for marketing campaigns (can't beat a free Krispy Kreme donut on National Donut Day though). Today was actually National Chocolate Milkshake day! I was going for a retro diner/soda shop vibe, but I had a hard time finding poses. I used @mel-bennett's Starbucks Frappuccino accessory, and I recolored it to remove the logo and make the straw black. There are 3 swatches: chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. Create a Sim September | Day 10: Elder
This was supposed to be the prompt for Sunday since it was Grandparent's Day. I was originally going to make a sweet elderly couple, but I took the opportunity to give Clement Frost a quick summer makeover instead. His warm weather look wasn't half bad, but I wanted to do my own spin on it. Father Winter obviously needs to chill on the beach with a cold drink after getting through Winterfest.

Create a Sim September | Day 8: Fairytale
I know I'm behind a few days, but I really am having fun with these. Today I decided to do a spin on an old classic: Hansel and Gretel. My version of the witch lures lost children in with her sweet smile and even sweeter confections -- though she must be careful not to scare them off with her sharp teeth and horns. Once she has captured her prey, she drains their energy to maintain her youthful glow. Hansel and Gretel will have to be smart and cunning to escape her grasp.

Create a Sim September | Day 7: Aspiration Inspired
I started thinking about Evelyn O'Connell (Rachel Weisz) in The Mummy when I was looking at the Archaeology Scholar aspiration from the Jungle Adventure pack. When I couldn't find any CC that fit her costumes well enough, I looked to Rachel Maksy for some vintage adventurer inspiration. I'm pretty happy with how she turned out, but maybe I will revisit this in the future when I have more CC-making experience as I currently only know how to recolor.
