Hecking Low-CC Makeover

Life in their new home seems to agree with newlyweds Brent & Brant. The small-town bustle inspires Brent’s painting career as he tries to make a name for himself. Brant, between training clients, loves to explore the Bay's scenic neighborhoods and fresh air. Best of all, they get to spend endless time with Rosie & Joaquin—though they're already arguing about who likes who best.

Even though the Heckings are some of the newer residents of Brindleton Bay, they've already made a name for themselves as pleasant and generous neighbors. They're typically the first to welcome newcomers with their pup, Rosie, and kitty, Joaquin.

Brant can be can routinely be found on his morning and evening runs with Rosie, scooping her up into a puppy carrier when her little legs give out on his long runs. He never fails to wave at any neighbor he comes across, often stopping to ask how they're doing. For this reason—and because he tends to run shirtless in warm weather—he is a local fan-favorite among young and old alike. He sometimes will do a modeling gig here and there.

Brent, though not as extroverted as his husband, is known and loved in the community for humbly boosting up and supporting his fellow artists and business owners. He makes a point of advocating for the small time artists.

As perfect as they seem to the locals of Brindleton Bay, nothing is ever 100% perfect beneath the surface. Between jealousy issues, passionate miscommunication, and a fear of the future, things aren't necessarily looking like it's going be easy breezy cover girl (Brant).

Did you know Brent had a cat named Joaquin that looked like this in the Cats & Dogs promos? He's on the cover for the pack too. He was cut from release for whatever reason, so I thought I'd add him back <3

Piper and Cam both get visits from their respective family members. Piper’s grandpa Brant comes to see her, and he gets sappy as soon as he sees his granddaughter. "Pipes, you're growing into such an amazing young woman and your grandpops Brent and I couldn't be prouder." He says, and Piper smiles, blinking back tears as well. "Thanks grandpa." She says, and he smiles at her. "He wanted to be here too, but we just got Rosette spayed and someone has to stay with her." He adds, and Piper nods. He and Piper head out to the backyard to chat and catch up.

Meanwhile, Cam's auntie Iseul is over too. She gives Cam a bear hug and Cam smiles. "Cammy, how are you?" She asks. "Good, auntie Is. How are you?" She says, smiling at her favorite auntie. "Good." Iseul's eyes sparkle and Cam grins. "I bet, I saw those cute photos you took with auntie Gracie." She teases, and Iseul blushes. They sit down at the couch, and Cam teases Iseul about her girlfriend Grace while Iseul teases her back about Piper.

"Speaking of Pipes, where is she?" Iseul asks. "Her grandpa came over so she's chatting with him." Cam says, and Iseul nods. "So, how's college been?" Iseul asks. "A bit tricky at first but I think I've gotten the hang of it." Cam admits. "Yeah, you really have to discipline yourself and stay on top of things. I remember it was tough for me for the first two weeks, but I met Megs and she helped me study and find a way to make it fun for us. I don't know how I would've got through the first two semesters without her." She says, and Cam grins. "You know, you always bring up auntie Megs*." Cam says, and Iseul blushes. "I have a lot of great memories with her, plus she's the kind of person you meet that you connect with right away and wonder where they've been all your life, platonically in our case." Iseul says lightly, and Cam gives her auntie a scrutinizing look, but nods. Cam sometimes gets the suspicion that her auntie Iseul is still a little bit in love with Megan but hopes she's wrong.

The lull between move in time and the Welcome Roundup expired quickly, and before anyone knew it, everyone was gathered around the stage eager to be introduced to the counselors and the itinerary for their week at camp.

"Good morning and sul, sul, Camp Longhorn campers! I'm Head Counselor Hecking, and I'm so excited that we're all going to be spending the week together!" Head Counselor Hecking gave them the warmest and most enthusiastic welcome.

"The theme for your week is adventure and discovery. We are going to realize that theme with one structured event a day. We're talking motor advancement through swim time and treehouse building, creative development in the art center, and athletic gains hiking and tree climbing."

"Outside of structured events, you'll have free time to explore activities individually and make friends with your fellow campers. And don't neglect that part, campers! You may only be here a week, but the friendships you make here will last you a lifetime."

"Now here to assist me in guiding you all through this amazing week are my junior counselors standing next to me. Each one of them will be in charge of your guided events and will be on standby if you need help during your free time. Give Libbie, Daniel, M, and Evie a hearty sul sul!"

All of the campers gave the counselors their heartiest sul suls, but one hello in particular immediately caught Evie's eye.

It was Cordelia, waving to what would seem only one counselor in particular, and Evie could tell exactly where her gaze was fixated.

After she noticed Cordelia's infatuated gaze, she couldn't ignore it for the rest of the roundup.

For the rest of Head Counselor Hecking's speech, she witnessed Cordelia sighing over and over with her lovesick stricken stare focused only on one person.

And the most frustrating part was that Mimi seemed completely oblivious to it.

Again.

She'd thought Mimi had talked to her about it, but clearly something got lost in translation. Evie internally sighed. She'd have to talk to them again about it. This problem could not go on.

Quick context: Because Jeb has problems with his parents (Physical assault), the caseworker decided to put Jeb and his brother Gideon in charge of Darling's uncles (Brant and Brent Heckings… Yes, Darling's father Se called "Brooklyn Walsh" (Brook) and is the younger brother of Brent Heckings jasdjasd) Darling lives in San Myshuno under the permission of his uncles, with Miko and Akira, who are his roommates. The reason why his uncles are his legal guardians is because his father was kidnapped when Darling was a child, his father is a military man, nothing has been heard from him since, but Darling hopes to see him again, someday 🥺

While Darling, Jeb and Gideon decorated the tree, Miko and Akira began to sing aksdjas

This is Zoey, Darling's kitten, the apple of her eye, her little ball of love, she is a very affectionate kitten and even allows herself to be petted by Jeb (She is even more jealous of Jeb than Darling at times ASJdaSJD)

Accidentally forgot to change my CAS Gshade preset back but hopefully Brant still looks sufficiently not white. ANYways, the Hecking boys are the only couple I can think of that I refuse to let MCCC or Maxis story progression divorce. They are such an adorable and sweet couple and the first openly gay married couple that came out for Sims 4. So, no weird past save stories to report! They stay together, get old, and die still married to one another. Sometimes they adopt, sometimes they just get more dogs. The only thing that does not change is the fact that they stay married.
