Only those who lived through the Steven Universe era know what a rollercoaster of emotions it was to watch each episode, I lost count of how much I cried, smiled and cheered because of this animation. Since her first appearance, Lapis Lazuli has become my favorite character. Seeing her journey looking for a home, her friendship with Steven, then the emergence of her friendship with Peridot, seeing her overcoming her traumas until finally becoming one of the Crystal Gems, was a beautiful journey to watch.

With the release of the Netflix live action series, I ended up looking for and watching my favorite scenes from my favorite character from Avatar The Last Airbender, Katara. So I couldn't resist drawing her.

In the process of painting this fanart, for shading I had to change the color of the Lucky Girl's uniform to make it easier to see and it ended up that the lighter color of the uniform gave Gwen an interesting look and this white version of the Lucky Girl was really beautiful. So why not post it?

Something I always loved about Gwen's individual storyline was the Lucky Girl's plot, it was thanks to her that Gwen started to become interested in magic and practice it. It bothered me that she only appeared as a fan service in Alien Force, fortunately this was fixed in Omniverse when she officially became the secret identity of our favorite Anodite. But unfortunately for us, her look in Ben 10: Omniverse is horribly ugly (just my opinion), so I used her look in Classic and Alien Force as a reference.

Everyone knows that Percy and Annabeth are the royalty of literary couples, but having the opportunity to see these two develop their friendship in the series and have those little hints of the romance they will have in the future was one of my favorite things to watch on the show.

I didn't know what to expect, honestly I was a little tired of superhero productions lately, but this series surprised me in the best way and warmed my heart. Almost 8 months since Wednesday's premiere and only now that the fanart is coming out? Yes. This drawing has been waiting for a long time to be finished and part of that is because I didn't really know if I should post it because I didn't like the drawing very much. Despite this illustration being based on the series, I didn't try to make my Wednesday look like Jenna Ortega, the only thing I used from her as a reference is the Latin origins of the character, let's say it's just inspired by the series.

• D A R K P H O E N I X • I was watching X-Men: The Last Stand the other day and I know a lot of people don't like this movie for a lot of reasons but it's one of my comfort movies, maybe for nostalgia. And honestly, here is one of my favorite versions of the Dark Phoenix, I think it's amazing that she is a other personality of Jean that emerged after Xavier created the psychic barriers in her mind. Unfortunately she is not the focus of the film, but Famke Janssen manages to steal every scene she appears, now with the Marvel multiverse I hope she comes back and reprises the role at some point.
