Have to admit, rewatching Frozen Empire, I felt like they did Callie and Gary dirty in the film

In the police station scene, Gary scolds Phoebe, calls her selfish and tells her she's ignored the fact that they've been defending her.

And yet the film does not show that... at all.

Peck tells them to bench her and they just roll over. It literally cuts to Phoebe telling her mom it's not fair. We don't see them defending her, we don't see her arguing her case. It just looks like they rolled over and did as they were told and when she complains, all she gets is 'wait three years, you'll live' as she has to watch them go on calls without her, leaving her all alone in the firehouse.

Like I'm sorry but they weren't defending her. They rolled over for Peck and scolded Phoebe when she argued. She was basically the only person in her own corner.

Wenclair fanfic where Wednesday and Enid are together by the time they graduate. The plan is Enid is going to regularly commute from San Francisco to the Addams manor until one day, Wednesday and Enid can move in together in their own place.

Only on the day of graduation, Enid overhears a conversation between Wednesday and Morticia, or at least she thinks she does. It sounds like Wednesday is planning to break up with her after graduation as Enid lives too far away. Heartbroken, Enid tells Yoko who immediately tells Enid to grab her things from the dorm room and come with her to her family home in Transylvania.

When Wednesday returns to the dorm, she finds Enid’s side completely bare with no sign of Enid anywhere. With no response to her calls, Wednesday is left heartbroken in the dorm.

Fast forward fifteen years, Wednesday is a successful author, practically living in isolation in the house she had bought for her and Enid. It’s even still decorated for them both, black walls with pink furniture. Pictures of them both from Nevermore hang on the walls. She never moved on from Enid, the Addams family curse still holding on to her.

Until one day, when Bianca, now Nevermore principle, invites Wednesday to the school for National Book Day for a QnA as a Nevermore Alumni who became a successful author. Begrudgingly, Wednesday accepts.

What she doesn’t expect is to see a recently divorced Enid at the school with her ten year old daughter.

So I'm wanting to write a Spider-Man MCU AU fic and I want to hear some ideas.

The idea for my fic is its basically a 'What if Peter Parker was older in the MCU?'

The idea is that, for me, its centred around Peter being more like how I feel he should've been written/more accurate to the comics.

My starting idea is that when Tony recruits him for the Civil War, he's 19, not 15. He's been Spider-Man for four years at this point, and became Spider-Man shortly after the Battle of New York. He got his powers on a field trip to a Science Laboratory where the scientists, with permission from the US Government, where experimenting on different creatures with Chitauri power cores to see the effects long term exposure to the cores might have on living creatures as part of a project to repurpose Chitauri tech for human use. On the trip, Peter is bitten by a spider irradiated by one of the cores, hence, giving him powers.

But how should I approach this? off the bat, I automatically want him to be with Mary Jane. Like him being Spidey, they've been together since they were 15. She knows who he is and all that. I want Ned to be a character, but I don't want the guy in the chair to be a thing.

How should this version of Peter approach the Civil War? What would Tony have to say to convince him that stopping Steve is the right thing to do? How should I approach the storyline of Homecoming when this version of Peter is a high school graduate attending college?

I’ve read so many time travel fics where Tony goes back or Steve does, etc. but I really wish there was someone who’d write one where all of the OG Avengers go back

Like all six go back to the events of 2012 and start over. Their minds are transferred via weird time travel to just before Loki arrives on Earth and they realise they can prepare for Thanos whilst dealing with all the threats they know about. Hydra, getting Wanda and Pietro on their side, recreating Vision, etc.
