I'm actually planning to make this an AU where tye TWST is basically certain types of flowers and they have to where it somewhere on their bodies, clothes, etc., etc., and if they don't they basically die 😻 and if you're actually wondering if this is Epel, it is. Edit : I'd also want to say that this actually has a backstory to this AU (not going into heavy details about it..YET) and how I got inspired to draw this. The name I like to call it is "Tears into Petals"
I got inspired because my grandma died during the summer while I was all the way in Virginia and I wasn't able to say goodbye to her 😞 she really love plants (especially flowers) and I was like.. HMMMM but let's set that aside because I'm excited to do this AU

A/N: hi hi!! this is a prologue to a series thing that me and @essentialsugar is gonna be writing! the prologue is quite short but that’s okay!! the title is “twisted coma” hehe it’s cute, i love it!
As graduation soon grew near, our tired Y/N soon rested. So many classes and lessons, they soon thought to themselves that they need a little mental break from everything. Friends, families, and of course, school. Though, it seems like that little break will turn into something far more greater than they imagined. A dream like state they will never want to get out from.
In this so called “dream” they explore a different land full of mysteries and magic, even tho this is a “dream” they stayed there for longer then anyone could imagine, and once they got back their family was worried for them.
In their original world they went in to a coma, due to the exhaustion they experienced before graduation and studying a lot. Their family was so worried, they even brought them to the hospital to make sure they were fine, not even realizing that Y/N was overworking themselves due to studying for school.
After Y/N woke up from a coma, they felt like they couldn’t go back to their old life, so they kept trying to have a dream to go back to “twisted wonderland”, and experience what they experienced before, not wanting to loose the friends they made in this wonderland.

Both you and Idia had become very close to each other after bonding through watching anime and having debates about them. After all this time, you’ve never seen Idia have a genuine smile before (he probably did but you just never saw it ☠️). So, because of this, your goal has been making Idia smile! Of course with the help of Othro.
After asking Othro to help you get Idia to smile and hang out with him (outside of his room), he agreed and both of you started planning and brainstorming ideas for it! One plan suddenly came to mind and Operation 1 : make Idia go out with you and MAKE HIM SMILE began.

As both you and Idia we’re bickering over an anime, Othro decided to step into the conversation speaking logical sense as always (although being biased a bit just to make his brother happy). Idia gave you his signature smile while you sulk over your defeat saying how “this isn’t fair..” or “these brothers are something else..”, etc.,. “Fuhehe, I told you that Mrs. Helena is more stronger than Mr. Hampeter!” You glared at Idia, “Oh shut it. Mr. Hampeter would’ve won if he didn’t make that person flying across the damn arena!”
You sighed as you watched Idia do his little cheering. Othro floated towards you while giggling a bit; tapping your shoulder to gain your attention and whisper to you, “Are you sure this is going to work Y/N?” “Have trust in me Othro! This plan will work if everything goes accordingly.” You whisper-shouted to Othro as Idia was still engross by his little victory and the anime.
Even though you thought it would go accordingly. . .it didn’t. “Idia come on! It won’t be that bad I promise!” You begged as you tugged on the sleeves of a certain fiery-haired person. “No way, IRL is too scary for me! Just imagining myself going outside my comfort zone just to talk to normies is enough for me to pass out!” Idia screeched while (surprisingly) holding onto the base of his bed. You gave out a little cry of defeat and let go of his sleeve. In relief Idia hurried up and scurried over to his gaming chair just to hide from you. “E-even if you tried, I won’t go out.” Idia said as he peered at you behind his gaming chair.
This was a lost cause; you shook your head. But an idea came to mind. “Okay then..fine. I was hoping to give you a surprise at the end of the day if you were to go outside with me. Guess like that was a waste of madols.” Idia perked at this and slowly peeked out of his chair interested with wide-eyes. “Looks like I could just give this to someone else if they even want it.” Idia leaped at this and gave out a terrified cry. “W-WHAT? NNONONONONO-“ his hands were waving in the air, “I’ll go! I’ll go! Sheesh..”
Moments passed by as you two walked along the halls of Night Raven College. With Idia clinging to you like he’s on death row, you both got weird stares and Idia seemed to be affected by it. “I should’ve declined your request..this mission is impossible” Idia mumbled while holding tightly onto your arm, "Also, why do you have a bag? D-DON'T TELL ME YOU'RE GOING TO CHOP ME UP SOMEWHERE!" he cried. You smiled and stifled a laugh "Idia, I would never chop you up. No need to worry!" Idia gave out a small whimper while following you closely from behind.
Passing through the countless classrooms, you hurriedly dragged Idia outside. The sudden movement surprised Idia but he kept up with your pace, slightly panicking of course. "U-uhm..Y/N? Where are we going..? This walk is tiring me out and you know I'm not good with these type of stuff." He became jittery. Even though Idia couldn't see it, you had a mischievous smile on your face. "Once again, I said not to worry about it Idia!" He sighed and continued to follow you, just a bit on edge though.
"We're here!" You exclaimed happily. Idia shifted slightly just to see what it was that made you drag him for at least an hour or so, (it was actually just 15 mins, but ya'll know how Idia is sometimes) though, it did make his eye twitch and...disappointed? "...What is this suppose to be?" You gave out a little laugh and gestured him to come o where you're standing. Idia was confused and hesitant, but he complied anyways. "You remember how I said I had a surprise for you? I didn't lie about that by the way hehe." Idia turned his head to look at you, well, probably a little too quick. His eyes looked like it was going to bulge out at any second. But, you noticed that his lips has seemingly curled up-wards a bit after you said that. You shook your head and reflected a smile back at him. "Anyways, I remembered that you've been wanting this figurine for a while now, so here."
Idia looked at you expectantly as you shuffled around your little bag carrier and pulled out a neatly wrapped gift. He gasped and snatched it out of your grasp. "H-hey! I didn't even-" "THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!" You were surprised about his outburst, it even looked like he was crying. He carefully unwrapped the gift with one of the biggest grin you've ever seen him with. A sweat came rolling down as you scratched your cheek and nervously smiled at him while he was rambling about the figurine.
I mean...anything to make him smile right? Even if it costed you your whole life savings. Broke people unite!

description: It’s halloween and you get kidnapped, who could it be?
Author’s Note: I’m gonna be writing pomefiore dorm, ace, (maybe) deuce, and lilia for this! i’m just posting Rook rn because I want to get something out😭

So, it was halloween night and you decided to dress up for this special occasion. After you got dressed you decided to head out of ramshackle to meet up with Ace & Deuce because you guys decided that after you guys are done getting changed and ready you guys should meet in the cafeteria.
You set your way from ramshackle and walked on to school grounds, as you got to the courtyard you felt a presence there with you, you definitely weren’t alone. So you decided to stop in your tracks and look around to make sure no one was there with you, suddenly you heard someone walk towards you yet you were too late in turning around and everything was pitch black.
you woke up on a chair in some kind of lounge with all kinds of details, theres a lot of the colour purple as well. You realized you’re sitting on some kind of chair, then you notice a note on your lap that reads “mon chérie, run and hide once you wake up, it’s a surprise.” from the note you assumed it was Rook because he usually uses French while speaking, and especially since he wants you to run and hid like it’s a game of cat and mouse.
So you decided to play along, you sat up from the chair and decided to enter the hall to look for a room to hide in.
After looking for a bit you decided that the room you’re standing in front of would be a good idea, and by guessing by the colours of the lounge you were in that probably means you’re in pomefiore dorm, so this room could possibly be Vil’s room and besides he went out for awhile so it wouldn’t hurt, right?
As you walk inside you notice it’s dark in the room, you tried to look for the lights but couldn’t find them due to the darkness, so you decided to hide in the closet as it was a reasonable place to hide.
As you were about to hide within the clothes and shut the door, you noticed another figure inside the closet, who was it?? was it some sort of mannequin?? Vil would seem like he’d have that in his big ass closet.
Nope, you were wrong. Next thing you know you feel someone’s presence behind you. “BOO!” it was Rook.
After you jumped from Rook scaring you, you felt that you were about to ascend to heaven from how scared you were, luckily you didn’t. You then turned around to Rook, it looks like he was dressed up as a vampire for Halloween?
“Mon chérie, why did you think it was a good idea hiding in my room?” you sighed out of relief and then replied “I thought this was Vil’s room since I couldn’t see anything but i guess i was wrong, how did you know I’d be going to your room?”
Rook then smirked and whispered in your ear “I have my secrets” he then backed away from your ear and smiled at you. He took your hand to take you out of the closet, then he sat down on the bed and pull your hand to make you sit beside him.
“What’re you doing?” you said, visibly confused on what he was doing. “Ah, well I thought we could cuddle if it was alright, I wanted to apologize for scaring you earlier I thought it was rather amusing.” You then sighed and layed down on the other side of the bed, still wondering what he meant that it was ‘amusing’ but soon shook off the thought, this then lead to talking with Rook while cuddling.

“ Burning Fireflies “
Summary : (Y/N) always longed to see the fireflies ever since they were little. They thought that they would never see them. But, tiny speaks of hope came along the way as they started seeing them when a certain person comes by.

Note's : AUSHS I finally have motivation to write. I have been traveling left and right ever since graduation. I'm literally so tired, but like, AUSHUSHU. ALSO I'VE BEEN LISTENING TO THIS FINGURE LICKING SONG AND I'M LIKE- it gives me tears whenever I hear it.
Walking along the botanical garden at night, Y/N sighed as they couldn't find a single firefly. This has been happening for years where Y/N would search for fireflies at night. But sadly, even as they grew up, they still couldn't find a single firefly. Because of this, Y/N was quite disheartened for a while.
"Damn, I thought the could've been here," they yawned "Ace did say that the fireflies tend to hang around here too. Unless that block head is tricking me again.." Y/N grumbled.
Shaking off the tiredness, they continued to walk along the outside of the garden - occasionally taking breaks in between - although they do wish to sleep. "They should be around here . . I know they should." Y/N yawned and stretched out their limbs, "I should just go back to Ramshackle. . Grim's probably wondering where I am."
Walking back to the Ramshackle dorm, Y/N felt sad that they couldn't find some. After all, it's been years since they've been searching restlessly. "No worries, there's still some places I didn't check out. I'll try again tomorrow." and was once again thrown into a bit of hope.
"Yeah, hopefully there should be some at the woods . . but the courtyard does seem safer for me. Hmm.." as they were still in thought, they didn't notice the fireflies that was surrounding them as they were getting close to the Ramshackle's entrance. "Hehe, yeah, best decision is the courtyard! Well, that's if they even allow people going out at night . . do they?" Y/N shook their head to at least wake themselves up a bit. As they did, they finally noticed the fireflies surrounding them.
"HUH?? Wha- Where did they come from??" Out of surprise, Y/N was now fully awake.
Their eyes lit up as they smiled in awe, "Woahhh, I never knew they could shine this brightly!" Ever since Y/N has came into Twisted Wonderland, they've never seen the fireflies show up right in front of the Ramshackle dorm before. It was suspicious, but knowing fireflies, they usually come from fields and in other places like the mountains and forests.
It does make sense for them to come out during the summer though. But, Y/N ignored the facts and continued to be enchanted by the brightly colored light that's surrounded by them.
"Ah, hello there Child of Man. I didn't know you'd still be awake at this hour." Malleus appeared out of nowhere, causing Y/N to let out a shrill scream. "Ma - Malleus! You scared me!" they cried out. Malleus apologized to them afterwards, "Though, I do wonder why you're awake at this deathly hour. Are you perhaps doing something?" he tilted his head to the side.
"Huh, oh right. About that...aha.." Y/N explained the situation to Malleus, telling him about their hunts to see fireflies every night. "Hmm, no wonder you seem tired everyday." Malleus hummed, putting on a pose that looked like he was thinking.
Y/N nervously laughed as they scratched the back of their neck. "Yeah. . . I've been doing this ever since I was a child. This is actually my first time seeing fireflies up close rather then seeing them on T.V,." Malleus gave Y/N a little lidded-smile, "Oh? Well I'm happy to indulge you Child of Man, these small creatures tend to appear whenever I appear."
Y/N gave Malleus a shocked look with a bit of jealously in it. They showered Malleus with questions about fireflies and how cool it was to have fireflies appear whenever he's near.
Of course, Malleus was a bit surprised - and amused - of how excited the Ramshackle Perfect was for fireflies, though he gave a small smile and answered their questions along with making some small conversations. The both of them talked until sunrise.
At this point of life, Y/N was happy and contented to see the fireflies and talk to their friend, Malleus Draconia, the soon to be king of the Briar Valley.
Bonus !! -
"Y/N . . are you sure you can stay awake during the classes? Deuce asked worryingly as Ace laughed in the background. "Jeez Y/N! You look like that dormleader from Ignihyde, Idia!" Ace wheezed.
"Yeah, yeah, this was all your fault Ace." Y/N glared at the ginger-haired boy that was still frantically laughing. Deuce sighed as Grim continued to eat his lunch. Although Y/N was mad at ace, they were happy that they were able to talk to a certain person last night.
Notes : I sometimes question why my back hurts and I looked it up on google (I don't think I should trust google sometimes 😞) and it said I probably had a miscarriage 😀 I swear to god, it gave me a heart attack and I was so confused. I HAVE NEVER DONE THE DIRTY DEED IN MY LIFE I SWEAR *sobs*

When "Leona can I put butterfly clips on your hair! Pretty please..? PLEASE?" fell out of your mouth, he thinks about it real hard, why's he even thinking about it like it's a life or death situation? He asks himself.
He might look silly, oh but it'd feel good when you play with his hair.. maybe he'd indulge it just one time.
Please run your hands through his hair, comb it, massage his scalp/head, and re-braid the front braids of his hair. If he feels bold enough to ask that then he'd be responding with a snarky remark like "Hey, you wanted to do this, so it's only fair I get to enjoy it too y'know" and he smirks and grins smugly while saying that. (Watch out for his soft purrs while you do things to him/his hair.)
"Leona! 'M done, come see what I did to your hair!" Should he look at it? It only felt good when you braided, combed, his hair, etc.. but what does it look like?
"Ahh, yeah, thanks but.." there he got dragged to face the mirror while you hold onto his face lightly squeezing it for him to face it and not getaway. And, he thinks it looks... good..? Well, he supposes it's not that bad!
"You like it? Yeah?" You ask while watching him check himself out, looking and touching his hair, "Yeah, I like it. You wouldn't mind doing this.. more, won't you?" 'Course you don't but it's nice to tease him once in a while.
Growls at anyone who he sees or hears chuckling at him/his hair, those people who laugh, giggle, chuckle at him shouldn't try and hide it, he senses it anyways! So, no escape.
VIL !
Well.. maybe yes, maybe not that he'd agree, but you can tell he indulges you 95% of the time with the fact he'd allow you to play with his hair when he doesn't want or like anyone touching or playing with it, he doesn't want a ruined or messy hair after all.
"Hm, very well then. Go ahead, dear." So please, don't mess his hair up as much as possible! He trusts you the most 'and the best.
Well, it relieves his stress the moment your hands brush his hair.
"Hey, gentle now. Don't tug on my hair too much. Alright?" It's a meltdown because he says it with so much care and gentleness, give him butterfly kisses, please
"Vil, hey, look! Do you like it?" You grin excitedly at him, hoping he'd like it. He stares at the mirror, touching and admiring the clips, and the little styles you do to his hair. "Thank you, I appreciate it really. Best believe I won't take it off as a reward for doing and bring so good" and with that, he gives you a smooch on the cheek, he prefers to call it a peck anyway.
"Really? You like it! That makes me so happy, Vil." He admires the sight of you being happy and giddy, he holds your hand and thumbs it. "Why not I do the same to your hair? So then, we'd match." "I like the idea of that, Mr. Schoenheit."
ROOK !
He's thrilled! Go ahead, go ahead! Do anything, he's yours.
If you wanna do it then beware, he moves and giggles a lot out of excitement. (He's trying his best to behave!!) "Rooook.. how many times do I need to tell you, to stop moving so much" "Ma chérie, I apologize! I beg for you to not stop!" It's kinda... weird to see Rook without his hat, after all it's what's unique about him, the Pomefiore house warden.
"There! Finally.. check it out, Hunt!" You send him a wink, while he giggles excitedly. He won't take it off too, "Oh my.. it's amazing! Gorgeous! It'd be an honor to display a pretty thing at school, I'll leave my hat behind and wear these clips at school." Funny because you and Cater suggested the same idea at the exact same time, blurting it out at the same time.
"Babe... you are amazing! Great minds think alike after all" jokes on you he already bought the butterfly clips and the materials you'd need, and now he's already laying his head on your lap, taking out the small, loose ponytail between his hair.
"There, ya comfortable? Or should I lay differently?" "Mm, no need. C'mere let me do it already." He'd film it and post it that's for sure, (always with your permission ofc!)
He's very patient, making sure you take your time styling his hair and putting adorable, adorable butterfly clips on his hair! He always melts when you caress his face. He also tries his best to be himself whenever he's with you, you made him himself after all. You reassure him to take it slow and he's very appreciative of that.

They're adorable he thinks, but what's important is that you're happy about what you did and that's more than enough, if it makes you happier he'd wear it! He even puts some flowers on his hat and of course, it makes him happy to wear the clips, showing it off. No one dares laugh at him, no one laughs at your works and what you do.
He ends up wanting to sleep with them because he claims it's a memory/souvenir to keep. Lilia had to take it off him but couldn't, he ended up calling you to take care of your lover, he was pouting and you didn't like that do you had to promise you'd do his hair again, and what makes him happier? You had butterfly clips on your hair too so you're matching. Happy dragon noises, indeed.

FLOYD is giddy and excited, he looks like a lightstick. "Really, really, really, shrimpy?! You wanna do that? Okok! Sit, take your time, hehe!" He moves a lot like Rook, but please don't get mad at the poor eel, he's just excited :( he promises and tries not to move too much! Please don't stop
"Wooooahhh! This is me? My hair? It looks s'different! I like it, I like it!" This one's a stubborn one, Azul might not wanna try and ask him to take it off, or else he'd... "Why! Shrimpy made this and it's special. And it's not ugly!" "Floyd we never said it's ugly.." "OK! Then I won't take it off because it's pretty! That's final blah blah!" As you walked up to the scarabia entrance you had an idea, what if you put butterfly clips into Kalim’s hair as a cute little prank? you decided it was a good idea because Kalim would probably like what you did to his hair.
and so you walk inside and go to the main area where you see Kalim eating food with Jamil there as well. As you were about to say something Kalim notices you before you could say anything, he seems very happy to see you and so he happily says “Y/N! Why’re you here without telling me?! if you had said anything i would’ve thrown a whole parade!!”
you were then taken aback from what he said, but you knew that Kalim is usually like this so you decided to casually say “ah it’s okay Kalim, no need for that. I just wanted to come by and visit you and Jamil of course!”
then you went to sit beside Kalim, you had your hands on the ground while you sat criss cross applesauce but you had your hands behind Kalim’s back so that you could pull off your plan perfectly.
Kalim then smiled brightly at you, “Y/N! Why don’t you have some of this food? it’s really good! i’m sure you’ll like it a lot!” Kalim said excitedly, he then started to get some food on a plate for you and while he did that you decided to start your plan, you grabbed the butterfly clips from your pocket and carefully placed them at the top near the front of his head since you can’t place it directly at front of his head of course.
Kalim then put your food in front of you, he saw that you were almost laughing but trying to hide it while you were looking at the top of his head, so he panicked and asked “Y/N?! what’s on my head?? is it a bug?!” he asked while panicking and patting his head to feel for a bug.
“No Kalim it’s not! Don’t worry hehe, you should check a mirror to see what’s on your head.” You and Kalim then got up, Kalim pulled on your wrist and ran to the bathroom to check his head.
he then turned his head down to see his head, “Y/N! what’re these? they’re so cute!! can i put some in your hair?” Kalim then says while turning to look at you. “They’re butterfly clips! I thought it was cute to pull a little prank on you, and of course you can put some in my hair! let’s return back to the main area so you can do that”
you and Kalim then returned back to the main area and the food was cleaned up by Jamil, Kalim then sits down and you sit beside him. You then get some more butterfly clips from your pocket and hand them to Kalim. Kalim then starts putting the butterfly clips all throughout your hair while you try to stop him from making a mess of your hair yet you fail.
“Kalim! Thank you for putting these in my hair, they’re quite cute. Say, why don’t we put some in Jamil’s hair?..” you say menacingly while staring at Jamil, you then get up and run towards Jamil. you then try to put a butterfly clip on his hair but he swats your hand away just like you’re some kind of fly, Jamil then runs away and then you and Kalim chase after him, this results in a chase for Jamil.
