Going Slow - Do it if you have the chance!
I’ve been waking up and purposely going about my day really slowly. Granted, I am only in evening classes and I’m living off of a small loan. But if your lifestyle permits, I recommend getting up and playing a playlist of any songs that soothe you. I have found that some songs that soothe me don’t go in the “soothing” category, and I don’t like playlists made by others. Taking it slow also includes watching vlogs of people I admire, watching cooking videos, re-visiting my planner and my daily to-do lists from the day before and for the present day. I update my planner while I watch cooking or grocery haul videos. I also don’t talk to ANYBODY, in any way, shape, or form. I’m just silent, maybe singing along to a song, walking around, taking a shower, putting on some moisturizer, wearing COMFY pajamas. I have been making 2-8 cups of tea each morning/early afternoon. You’re probably like “WHAT”, but I use my coffee maker and throw two tea bags in, then add 2-4 cups of water to the thingy. It’s really nice, I’m getting my water, I’m getting antioxidants, I’m drinking something warm to comfort my nerves, etc. I’ve been really into tidying and chopping for future meals in this quiet time, too!
I know it’s very easy to include all of this in a morning when I don’t have many pressing responsibilities during the day, but even doing some of these things in a small way can be very helpful when I am busy or I’m not alone in the morning! I never could wrap my head around meditating, but any of these things count as mindfulness for me. You should try some of them, if you aren’t already taking time for yourself!

So I’ve been working toward meatlessness since before Christmas, and the flip switched in February. I went completely vegetarian for six months when I was like 14, but...corn dogs. Now, I cook ALL the time. The food isn’t always pretty, BUT I went to Ross and found 4 MASSIVE bowls so I can be like the youtubers with the big ass meals of veggies. I’ll be sharing my healthy life tips, as I work them into my days more and more.

Reception Idea #1
I want to have a bangin’ ass bbq as my reception. Like there’ll be a selection of salads, meats, fried goods, chips...IT’LL BE ONE BIG HOUSE PARTY YO. There’ll be endless liquor (as in, there is someone to go out and buy liqs again) and soft drinks and plenty of water bottles.
And I will have a photo booth! There will be balloons, there will be flowers, there will be a playlist on (made by me & the groom), there will be strobe/twinkly lights.
The party will last all night.

The wedding of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier of Monaco 19th April 1956.
Grace Kelly had two wedding outfits for her civil and religious ceremonies, which were both gifts from her film studios MGM and were created by the head costume designer, Helen Rose, in the studio’s atelier.
The gown she wore to the religious ceremony took 30 seamstresses at the studio six weeks to make and had a high collar, elegant lace sleeves and a full skirt. The dress was made of delicate rose point  Brussels lace, which was 125 years old, and a silk faille skirt with three petticoats;  a smoothing petticoat, ruffled petticoat, and foundation petticoat.
The wedding gown is one of the most influential gowns in bridal history, and has been referenced in many designs since including the Alexander McQueen dress which Sarah Burton designed for Kate Middleton when she married Prince William. Oscar de la Renta said of its significance:  "On her wedding day, Grace Kelly gave new meaning to the word icon. Her whole look, from the regal veil to the feminine lace details and the conservative gown, made her an ageless bride.“ (x)
