Okay so like
hypothetically if i where to have mikey be kidnapped. You know, hypnothetically. And hypothetically there was a brother with him that mikey discovers his mystic powers to magic away... but this is a pre-movie au so no one knows he can do that... which brother should it be?
Raph because big brother angst, mixed with Raph later becoming well trained and fighting the foot clan on his lonesome
Leo, because he already feels like he isnât good enough and his brothers already feel like he doesnât take things seriously, and this makes it so much worse on both fronts
Or Donnie because science boi confronted with magic and freaking out and trying to prove it
Or should I just have mikey be on his lonesome?

Coldflash: Arranged Marriage + Dystopian AU
I am noticing a trend with your prompts lol
Okay so, imma try not to go overboard this time. I'm thinking Dystopian world where people are used as energy. Their lifeforce feeds into things, giving the rich a world beyond dreaming. There are whispers of farm lands that don't use these methods, were metas get to live like normal people, but this are scoffed at. Metas were dangerous before they could be harnessed, and why would you give up such luxoury anyway?
Barry Allen is born to one of this 'backwards' towns, and he's born a matter that sparks energy like it's nothing. It doesn't take long for Eobard, a meta hiding his own energy powers, to hunt the child down and kidnap him. Murdering Nora Allen in the process.
From then on Barry lives as a rich meta in the city, unaware of his true heritage. His energy feeds Eobard's city, giving the man political might and power and for Barry it's... well, it's an okay existence. Eobard rarely violent anymore, now that Barry knows how to control his powers.
Cisco is a major part of the okay part of Barry's existence. The meta son of a very politically powerful family, his powers give him visions and nightmares and the energy isn't nearly as easy to convert as Barry's but, with the right tools, it'd be just as useful. The two are childhood friends and often the only sense of comfort they ever get.
When they're both 20, Eobard announces that they'll be getting married. Barry's not too upset, he always knew Eobard would pick his future spouse and he's not romantically interested but well, at least they're friends, right? Eobard gets the families political ties, and his hands on another meta, and Cisco's family gets a more effective way to harreness his energy. Cisco and Barry agree they could do a lot worse.
And then the rogues show up.
Henry Allen has known Len for years, has none more of the meta fighters for years. He's a trusted name in their circle. And so when Henry asks Len to find his son, Len doesn't even charge the guy. It's not to hard to find Barry, but getting the boy out of Eobard's clutches will be. Barry can't imagine the world Len can promise, he needs to build up trust. A bit easier to do when Cisco figures him out, forces him to reveal his intentions, and then immediately jumps on board.
It's going fairly well, Barry and Len are even starting to fall in love.
It's about then that Eobard starts suspecting something and ramps up the marriage plans - and the reveal of something that will force Barry to stay by his side forever.

Part 1 | Part 2
Hereâs hoping this is the final part.
So when we left off, Barry had just reunited with an old friend and Len definitely was not jealous. The rogues had also gotten an ongoing contract with the Bats, the largest human settlement left in the universe. The two groups end up spending the cycle together, mostly because Barry and Bruce wonât stop talking. Lisa and Captain Browne, who introduces herself as Stephanie eventually, hit it off. Hartley and Cisco get along with a constantly annoyed engineering of the ship, Jason, for very different reasons. Ray gets the new face on the ship, Tim, to open up, Sara is chatting techique with the ships weapons master - a young man named roy - and Mick sticks around Len to chuckle at his complete lack of jealousy as he glares over at Bruce and Barry. Theyâre just off to the distance, too far to overhear but close enough to make eavesdropping too obvious. Len is certain itâs intentional. Mick is finding it hilarious.
Barry and Bruce talk about the years that have passed. Bruce explains things that the rogues simply canât, unable to grasp the knowledge that Barry is lacking. The black lanterns are still too large, the white lantern ring is still MIA. But the unvierse is starting to recover. The other Lantern cores are beginning to grow in numbers, especially the green core, and the black lanterns have diversified in desperation to keep their numbers which has led to their focus widening again - not focusing on humanity as they once did.
Bruce reveals he hasnât heard from any of the others. He thinks theyâre asleep, more wholly than Barry ever managed. Itâs possible their ships are still being piloted, itâs possible theyâve been destroyed or tucked away in the vastness of space. He has seen Diana though, and sheâs handling well with her amazons - still immortal, still largely unchanged through their island paradise has been replaced with a space station.
Barry doesnât ask for her coordinates. Heâs not sure he can manage. Bruce doesnât press, watching his crew with the same heavy expression that Barry holds for his.
âI tried to keep my distance.â Bruce says.
âIâd technically married Len before I even realized who he was.â Barry sighs, earning a chuckle from his companion. âFor the others... itâs hard to explain.â Bruce nods, not needing the explanation. Heâd tried to keep his distance, he hadnât much succeeded.
--
They part ways on the next cycle and Len is the only one happy about it. Mickâs already spread the gossip between the crew and they barely hide snickers as Bruce says his farewells. Bruce barely hides a snicker.
Barry is oblivious, even as the teasing continues while they go about their regular business.
One cycle, as the crew rests in the commons and Barry and Cisco play a card game (badly), the ship pings and Barry perks up.
âGot a message from your boyfriend?â Cisco teases and Barry frowns in confusion.
âMy who?â
âThe mystery man from the Bats ship.â Lisa explains and Barryâs face turns sour at the thought. Len is not vindicated, and heâs paying exactly no mind to the looks the crew is giving him.
âOh my god gross.â He reacts, face still twisted. âBruce and I are friends. Our kids are married.â The joy Len isnât feeling immediately evaporates, although he suppose it shouldnât. Heâd over heard them talking about grandkids.
âYou have kids?â He asks, focusing his tone to be conversational and still ignoring the rest of the crew.
âJust one, kinda.â Barry says as he steps over to a screen to get up the message heâs been set. âWallyâs technically the nephew of my platonic soulmate and we were living together before, you know, but his parents were horrid, and then he started working with me, so i mean, heâs my kid, you know?â He explains in a rush, then frowns. âOr was, I guess.â He mumbles.
âSo what Iâm hearing is the mysterious ship demon is single.â Lisa hums.
âLisa.â Len hisses as Barry laughs.
âWhat? Heâs my type, mysterious and literally able to become smoke.â
âNo heâs not single.â Barry says. âOr if he is, I donât think heâs moving on any time soon.â The message appears on the screen and Len tries to be subtle as he looks over. Itâs a photo of four figures, two adult men and two children. The kids and the grandkids, Len supposes. At least he supposes until Ray pipes up.
âWhy did you get set a photo of Dick Grayson?â He asks.
âHuh?â Barry returns, sounding just as confused.
âThe black-haired man on the right. Thatâs Dick Grayson from intel, isnât it?â Ray says, looking to the others for confirmation.
âLooks it.â Mick confirms. âThough isnât the guy running an orphanage these days?â
âOf course he is.â Barry mumbles, too quiet for the rest of them to hear but loud enough to carry over the bond he and Len share. âThey must just look alike.â He says, louder, âthis is Bruceâs son uh, Ric. Ric Wayne.â Barry is not a very good liar. âOnly so many ways the human form can be configured, I guess, bound to have repeats.â He quickly closes the photo to reply to the message and any pressing Len wants to do is halted by Cisco.
âIsnât that Earth writing?â He asks.
âOne of them.â Hartley confirms, smart ass tone earning a glare from the former.
âYou must be old.â Sara whistles when Barry only shrugs. â
Are you cradle robbing my brother, mr ship demon?â Len does not throw the book heâs reading at Lisa, but its a near thing.
--
âAre you cradle robbing me?â Len questions, when they head to bed that night.
âYouâre older th-â Barry cuts himself off on a retort that almost sounds second-nature, clearing his throat. âWell, I mean Iâve been half asleep for a couple thousand years, I donât think that really counts as age.â
âNot sure Iâd mind if you were.â Len admits into the stillness between them.
âYeah?â Barry replies, just as soft. He reaches out and for a moment Len thinks, hopes, Barryâs going to kiss him. Then he freezes, for just a moment, and turns away with a mumble about going to sleep.
--
Aligning with the Bats is a blessing and a curse. They give consistent jobs and good pay, but the jobs also require more tact that the Rogues generally bother with. Lenâs grateful theyâve only started a handful of incidents, and that theyâve managed to make a mostly positive name for themselves. Somehow.
He could still go without the celebration parties, though.
âOkay, so the customs here are pretty standard. The only thing we need to worry about is drinks.â Barry explains as they start to circle the planet whose so grateful about their most recent shipment that theyâve requested the Rogues attendance for a ball in their honour.
âIf these are going to get us shitfaced, Cisco and Hartley are staying here.â Mick declares.
âWhat?!â Cisco exclaims, flustered as he twists to face the larger man. âI didnât do anything last time! That was all Hartley!â The latter, for his input, just shrugs with a satisfied smirk.
âThey wonât get us shitfaced.â Barry assures. âNot any worse than our usual alcohol.â
âWhat do we have to worry about then?â Ray asks.
âIf someone hands you a drink, you canât refuse it.â Bary explains. âItâs sort of like spitting in their face, huge disrespect just donât do it.â
âShould be easy enough.â Sara grins.
âThey also consider married couples like one individual.â Barry adds, âso if someone takes a drink off you and gives it to someone, itâs probably a spouse.â
He catches Len alone soon after, just before they head to the planet below.
âWeâll have to stick together.â He says, âtheyâll be able to sense our bond.â
âAlways happy to have eye candy at a dance.â Len says, offering his arm as Barry chuckles.
--
The system theyâre in is known for having enemies of the Bats. People who think their way of running things is too democratic, that humanity should be blasting itâs way through the universe and taking it all.
Len doesnât think of this as a human man steps up to them, offering a drink and pleasantries about all the hard work the rogues are doing. Heâs so exhausted over all the meet and greeting, he doesnât even notice Barry tense beside him.
âCan I try that?â The demon says, gesturing to the cup Lenâs holding. âIt smells great.â Len shrugs, handing it over.
âIâm not sure youâre aware of the customs of the people here-â The stranger starts but Barry cuts him off with more hostility then Lenâs ever heard from him.
âOh we are, but Iâm his husband.â He says. Len does notice the way Cisco tenses near by. They had managed to keep that part of the deal hidden from the rest of the crew. Barry takes a swallow of the drink heâs holding and grimaces.
âYou used to be a lot more subtle Eobard.â He says. Len wants to ask what the hell heâs talking about but then the stranger is trying to inch away and Bary is stumbling forward, muttering about posion before his eyes roll back into his head.
--
The planet has perfectly fine medical falicities but Len still insists on taking Barry to the ship, leaving the rest of the rogues to deal with the politics and the poisoner. He already knows itâs too late, even as he desperately hooks Barry up into the medpod. The lights around them are dimming, Len canât find a pulse.
Then the lights are coming back and Len hopes, prays, he got Barry there in time.
âGood evening Leonard.â A female voice rings from the ships speakers. âYou seem to be much further into the future then recommended. I was not aware I still had the ability to time travel, did Barry update my coding?â
âWho the hell are you?! What are you talking about?!â Len snaps, eyes darting around trying to find the source of the voice.
âI am unsure about your confusion, Leonard. Allow me to access my memory banks.â For the moment the ship is silent once more, then the speakers hum to live. âAllow me to introduce myself. My name is Gideon, I am the ships AI system.â
âI thought Barry was the ships AI system.â Len frowns.
âZatanna of the Justice League uploaded his conscience into my ship so that he could lead several ships from Earth to distract the Black Lanterns. Even my processing speed is no match to the speedforce. I believe several other members of the Justice League were unloaded into larger ships to act as the AI system, as their was not time to craft functional AI. My records indicate that Zatanna was killed in the escape, leaving only the stopping of Barryâs heart able to break her spell.â Len has more questions then he can count but they all catch on that last sentence.
âBarryâs... dead?â He whispers, staring at the body of the man before him.
âOnly momentarily.â
âWhat?!â But even as heâs saying it, red sparks are beginning to trail along Barryâs body. Len steps back in shock as his eyes open, lit but lightening, before the body is gone. Just as quickly, Barry is back. Coming to a stop before Len, lightening sparking from his arms to Lenâs form.
And suddenly Len understand what a year is.
âBarry, what the fuck?â Is all he can say as tears start to leak from his eyes and a flash of memories run through his brain.
âIâm sorry I worried you, I know that guy and I knew that heâd be bad news but I didnât want to make a scene and-â Len cuts him off with a desperate kiss.
âIâm not talking about Eobard. Although we need to have a conversation about the fact you drank poison without have a super metabolism, what the hell?!â
âYou... know about my metabolism?â Barry frowns, looking a little dazed from the kiss.
âI believe your sparking power has activated some of Leonardâs old memories.â Gideon explains from above.
âGideon?â Barry asks, looking up in awe, before the words sink in and he looks back to Len in horror. âI am so sorry, I didnât mean to! You should be able to live your new life with thoughts of-â Once more Len shuts him up with a kiss.
âShut up, Husband mine.â Len breaths against him. âIâm just as in love with you, memories or not, so lets finally get around to consummating the marriage, shall we?â Barry is shuttering and flustered, practically vibrating as they make their way back to the chamber.
In time theyâll have to explain something and Barry will try to avoid returning their memories. He wonât manage, especially as he follows the speedforce to Dick Graysonâs orphanage and finds Wally racing up to meet him. One speedster if one speedster is chaotic enough to return half a ships worth of memories, two speedsters finish the job in no time.

AND THATS IT
can add more of a proper plot summary if anyone wants, rather then this mismash of plot summaries and shorts.
That was hella fun.

Part 1
New post because last one was getting long.
So when we last left off, Len had removed his helmet to give Barry a kiss and seal the deal. He turns to the ship, orders it to ready and it moves immediately. Heâs dreading explaining this but, at least,
âGuess you werenât kidding.â He says as he turns back to the hologram demon turned physical demon. He looks almost identical to his hologram self - lanky and pale with soft-looking brown hair. Expect now heâs starting stock still, staring wide eyes at Len. âWerenât expectin-â Heâs mid sarcastic comment when the demon cuts him off.
âWhatâs your name?â
âShouldnât you ask that before marrying someone?â Len teases and the demon almost flinches. Itâs a 180 to the smirking figure that had appeared as the ship powered up, even more so the rambling figure that had revealed itself a moment ago.
âPlease, just tell me.â The demon says, soft as he shuts his eyes.
âLeonard Snart. Friends call me Snart, and I suppose demon spouses can as well.â The demon nods his head but its more a movement of resignation than acknowledgement. âYours?â He flinches again.
âBarry Allen.â He finally whispers.
âNot much of a name for a demon.â
âItâs short of Bartholomew.â He says, giving a half laugh. âGuess it finally fits, huh?â He opens his eyes and his mouth immediantly drops back into a frown. It doesnât look right. Lenâs around a lot of people that frown, Barry doesnât look like someone who should frown. âWhat year is it?â
âThe fuck is a year?â Len retorts.
âRight, I guess that wouldnât make sense as a measurement of time in space.â Barry mumbles, stepping past Len to the controls. He moves his hand and a screen appears, displaying a number in the four thousands. âFuck.â
âWhat year did you want it to be?â Len asks, suspecting whatever number this was it must be the âyearâ.
â2032.â Barry answers. He moves his hand again and this time Len recognizes the screen as a star map.
âWe really are in the middle of no where.â He realizes, wincing.
âThat was the plan.â Barry says in a way that suggests he doesnât mean to say it. âThe rest of the ships are gone.â
âYou had others like this?â Lenâs never seen a ship like this, he canât imagine there are any more. Especially if there over 2000 years old. Although he supposes he has no sense of the length of a year, it might only be a half-cycle or something ridiculously short like that.
âNo, they were basic. Just duds really.â Barry shrugs a shoulder then clears his nearly gained throat and suddenly the sad shell is gone. âSo, where are we headed to Captain?â Len raises an eyebrow but doesnât ask, they might be married but they only just met after all.
âIâm meant to be meeting my crew in Oiris.â Len zooms the map out until he can finally find something recognizable and finding the Oiris station. âItâll take a few cons to get there, I doubt theyâll be hanging around but we can send a message.â
âI have no idea what a con is, unless you mean a job, but we should get there in no time.â Barry claims.
âI doubt it.â Len argues but doesnât press the point. âNo time like the present, letâs get The Barry moving.â
âThe Barry?â Barry repeats, making a sour face at the term.
âYou are the ship demon, isnât it named after you?â
âNo.â Barry says, the sadness returning for a moment before he shakes it. âHer name is Gideon.â
--
The trip to Oiris only takes a week and a half, a con as Len calls it, which is considerably shorter than any ship Lenâs ever seen. Still itâs a week they spend alone, getting to know each other and their new bond. They canât spend much time apart, Barry grows exhausted and Len grows itchy in a way heâs not used to and doesnât like. Luckily, their are few places they can be apart. Although it only takes a few nights to realize sharing a bed is the best option for both of them.
Beyond their bond, Len starts to get to know Barry the human - the demon, really. Heâs a chirper character, although not in the obxious way that grates on Len. Heâs smart too, and largely unbothered that Len is an outlaw so much as there is law in space. Although he does request Len stick to crimes with at least a moral high-ground.
Len also realizes thereâs something more to Barry, something heâs hiding away. Thereâs those moment of sadness, usually spurred when he doesnât think Len is watching him watch him. Sometimes heâll move and frown, like he doesnât understand his movement. Len supposes itâs because he used to be a hologram demon, but even that doesnât hold much water. Because Lenâs starting to realize there was a before to that.
The mystery shouldnât bother him, it has nothing to do with him, but Len finds it itching away at him anyway.
--
When they reach Oiris, Barry looks like a kid in a toy shop trying to spot every single thing in the station. Although he claims heâs been to a space station before, Len isnât sure he believes that. Still, itâs kind of cute how excited he is.
Or how excited he was until they reach Lenâs crew.
Lisa throws her arms around him the moment they get there, Mick makes a grove noise vaguely sounding like âdonât scare us like thatâ. Even Cisco gives him a very, very quick hug before ducking out of punching range. Hartley, Sara, and Ray are more controlled, though on the latterâs part that might be the cast his arm is in.
The ship behind them is totaled, which Len supposes is a good thing given the new one.
âWhose the tag along?â Itâs Mick that finally asks, inclining his head to Barry. Heâs got the happy mask on but Lenâs already started to notice when heâs faking it.
âHeâs the ship demon.â Len explains and refuses to elaborate as they give introductions and he leads them to the new ship.
Things settle into a normal over the next few collections, a year as Barry calls in. They take jobs, avoid getting killed, and make sure to have some fun along the way. Slowly but surely Barry settles into the group. He hits it off with Cisco, even though Len gets the impression heâs trying really hard not to. Impossible when Ciscoâs trying to grill Barry for information.
âYou and Lisa grew up together?â Len overhears Barry asks one cycle, when heâs finally caved and let Cisco open up a wall ONLY with his supervision. Something in his tone makes Len stop. He sounds almost... surprised. Odd, considering Cisco and Lisa donât exactly hide it.
âYeah man, sheâs practically my sister.â Cisco answers, shrugging in the wall. âLenâs more like a scary older cousin, but heâs still family ya know? I kinda had one, but uh, they didnât like me much.â
âToo busy doting on a brother?â Barry guesses.
âWhat? Nah man I was an only child. They just didnât like that I was obsessed with space travel, thought it was a sign I was gonna become a Black Lantern. In my system everyone was super practical.â
âSo the black lanterns are still around then.â Barry says, shoulders sagging like heâs holding the weight of the universe. âAre they still obsessed with killing humanity?â
âYep.â Cisco pops the âpâ, not nearly as unbothered by the reality as Barry seems. âMan everyones going on about you being immortal but you canât be that old if they were still around.â
âI wish.â Barry mutters. Len plans to stick around, but then Cisco makes some big discovery and he decides the conversations over.
--
There are other moments like that, moments of Barry realigning with the universe. It has the ship guessing just how old their demon is. Len hasnât joined the betting, in part because theyâre also betting on if Len and Barry are dating and he canât bet âalready marriedâ without bringing up questions.
It should be more odd to think of them as âmarriedâ, Len supposes one night with Barry curled up beside him. The demon is also careful not to cuddle, up until he falls asleep and starts clinging. He supposes outside their sleeping together, which contains more clothes than Len would like some nights, theyâve started doing âmarried thingsâ. Barry is touchy, especially when heâs feeling low, and Len... doesnât mind. For all he minds everyone else. Thereâs been a kiss or two, shared in quiet moments, but nothing serious. Nothing that screams marriage.
Maybe thatâs why heâs not finding it weird, Len decides knowing full well thats not it.
--
One night he wakes up to find Barry missing. Concerned, he leaves their shared room to find the demon sitting at control center looking at a holographic image that Len canât quite make out from this angle. He takes a step closer and Barry startles, the image immediantly disappearing.
âWhat are you doing up?â He asks, trying to hide the way he dries his eyes.
âLooking for you. I canât sleep for two, you know.â Len drawls. He also knows when Barry stays up because heâs extra exhausted the next day. Itâs been happening more often recently. âWhat were you looking at?â
âItâs...â Barry looks back to the void of space, now sans on holographic photo, âitâs nothing, just some old pictures. Letâs head back to bed.â
Len wants to push.
He doesnât.
--
Thereâs been dozens of times theyâve taken Gideon into fire, and Barry gets anxious every time. But theyâve never been under fire by the Bats. Probably the largest colony the humans have, even including a planet theyâve claimed, and someone (Hartley) had been dumb enough to get caught stealing their supplies. The captain ship comes around in front of them, itâs guns arming in a clear threat. Everyoneâs a little anxious. Len has no idea how theyâre getting out of here.
Then Barry does something stupid.
âDisengage.â He orders, jumping over a chair to reach the controls. Heâs never overriden an order of Lenâs before, Len didnât even know he could.
âBarry what the hel-â But Barryâs not listening to Len hissing at him.
âHail Batman.â He orders, equally ignoring the confusion and shouts from the rest of the crew. A video comes on screen, revealing a creature that is mostly mist and red eyes. Even Lenâs a little frightened. Barry is not.
âI swear to god if you blow up Gideon I am going to haunt you.â Barry tells the figure of smoke. It doesnât have eyes but Len thinks it raises one.
âYour ships looking worse for wear.â It eventually comments. âI didnât recognize it without the paint job.â Barry gasps in offense.
âYou know that was a prank that your son was involved in.â He claims. âLets talk about how your ship has new parts! And new guns! That are still pointed at me by the way!â
âDisengage.â The smoke figure orders and the guns on the captains ship disappear.
âWhat the hell?!â A female voice from beyond the camera declares.
âTheyâre friends.â The smoke figure assures her. âWeâll land on the asteroid belt nearby.â He adds.
âGot it!â Barry is grinning from ear to ear as the call cuts.
âWho the hell was that?!â Hartley shouts, attempting to jump from his chair.
âAnother demon?â Cisco guesses.
âA friend.â Barry claims. âIâm taking us down.â
--
The shadow figure is shading behind Captain Browne as they land within the artifical oxzone the Batâs have already placed. The second Gideon lands, Barry races out the door and leaps at the thing that seems to take human form to catch him.
âI have a reputation.â The now humanoid figure claims, fondly.
âYour reputation can suck it, I missed you.â Barry returns, burying his head in the figures shoulder. Captain Browne clears her throat, but Barry doesnât even turn his head.
âIâm sure you can arrange the retrieval Captain.â The once figure says, like he doesnât have a grown man hanging from his neck, âwe should set up camp for a while afterwards.â He leaves without a word, carrying Barry into the Batâs ship.
Len returns the goods, making Hartley carry them for getting them into this mess. Captain Browne accepts them, just as awkward and tense as the rogues, before ordering a few people about to make camp. All the while they hear nothing from Barry and the figure.
The rogues are supposed it takes this long for Len to sneak about the Bats ship.
He finds the two supposed friends sitting in a random hallway near the controls of the ship.
âYou havenât slept at all?â Barry asks.
âLot of good it did you.â The figure retorts.
âCome on Bruce, Iâm like half speedforce. Of course it wasnât going to help me.â Barry claims, rolling his eyes.
âWere half speedforce, Iâve noticed.â The shadow, Bruce apparently, comments. Barry looks to his hand, holding it still.
âI think itâs the deal I made with... well, I guess you know, what with Stephanie out there.â Who the hell was Stephanie?
â...Itâs the first time itâs happened.â Bruce says, softly. âItâs nice but...â
âItâs weird.â Barry finishes. âBut you dodged the question. You should sleep. This canât be good for you.â
âThereâs work to be done.â Bruce shrugs. âBesides, I did sleep. For a few hundred years. Before... A father shouldnât outlive his sons.â Barry nods like he understands although Len can hardly keep up with the conversation.
âWhere they happy?â Barry asks, fragile and quiet. Bruce takes a moment to find their answer.
âI think so. Wally was thrilled at the prospect of terraforming a dead planet, Dick humored him but only Tim could even begin keeping up. But they all had a role in the world we led them to, and they were enjoying it. Even Jason.â
âIâm glad.â Barry says, just as softly. âI almost... I wanted to come find them so often. But I was terrified Iâd lead some black lantern there and itâd all start over again.â
âIt was never meant to be a life sentence, but Zatanna...â Bruce stops and for a moment they sit in silence. Len takes the time to contemplate what heâs over hearing. Clearly they two are important to each other, although Barryâs never mentioned this man before. Heâs never mentioned anything about his past before, and this man seems to know all of it.
Lenâs not jealous.
âWe became grandparents.â Bruce breaks the silence.
Lenâs not jealous.
âWe did?â
âDick and Wally had two kids. They named the first Mary, after Dickâs mother. Wally joked about whose middle name to give her, what with his dads. Eventually they decided on Mary Nora Grayson, for your mother.â
Itâs petty, its stupid and petty but Len canât stand another word of this.
âIâve been looking for you.â He announces his presence, walking over like he hadnât been standing around the corner for the last several minutes. âYou canât just run off into an enemy ship with no explanation Barry.â
âItâs not an enemy ship, itâs the Bat Shuttle.â Barry claims, the smile he gives Len forced in a way that makes Len regret stepping in.
âOh my god, it is not the Bat Shuttle.â Bruce groans, raising his hands to his face. âDick was eight when he named the car Barry, eight.â
âItâs a Bat Shuttle.â Barry doubles down. Len raises an eyebrow and finally prompts the introduction. âLen, this is Batman.â
âBruce is fine Barry, weâre 2000 years passed having secret identities.â
âWell excuse me for having habits.â He should have just walked away, Len thinks as the two continue chatting like old friends even as they make their way to the campsite.
Heâs jealous.
--
Captain Browne, under suggestion from Bruce or Batman or whatever his name is, offers them a job. Itâs permanent and at least semi-regular, just retrieve their stolen goods and ferry some between outposts. Out of spite, Len wants to refuse. But itâs good money and a good ally so he grits his teeth and shakes hands with the Captain, all the while Bruce gives him a knowing smirk.
--
Hmm, once more super long and yet still no posion. I swear its coming but its almost 2am and i gotta sleep. This plot bunny going while okay, we got summaries, we got shorts, we got everything in this bisch.

@a-redharlequin asked Coldflash: Marriage of Convenience + Curse + Prison
This unconventional answering totally ISNâT because i posted to a deactivated blog, not at all.
Anyway my first thought was âthis is literally beauty and the beastâ which wouldnât that be fun but then they added âin spaceâ in the discord so like...
This is a true sci-fi setting, Earths been destroyed for years and humanity lives in the pockets throughout space. Lenoard Snart - a human with no home planet constantly getting into trouble with alien species that want all humans dead, want him specifically dead, or just want to kill and he happens to be there - is limping through space after an unadvised hyper jump due to reasons above. Heâs alone, having disengaged from the rest of the rogues in an attempt to split the enemies attention so all ships (Mick also made a diversion flight) could get away. It worked, but not before his navigation was fired.
So, ill-advised hyperspace flight. A limping ship, no navigational systems. Heâs spat out when his ship literally canât hold it together anymore - into the middle of bum fuck no where space where even his comms wonât work. Lenâs starting to think heâs going to freeze to death, his oxygen long outlasting his heat systems.
Then he sees it.
Itâs the nicest ship heâs ever seen and itâs dead in the water. Knowing he doesnât have much of a choice, Len tries to hail it. No response. Still not having much of a choice, he decides to board it. The ship is completely empty but immaculate. It even powers on when he reaches the controls.
âI didnât think anyone would find this hunk of junk.â The voice has him turning around, gun raised at a smirking man that glitches for a moment.
âA holodiary?â Len asks, rolling his eyes at the clicheness of it all, and the hologram laughs.
âNot quite.â It says, replying to him. Lenâs loosing grip on his gun immediately tightens.
âThen what, some AI that went crazy?â He guesses next, knowing the gun is useless if thatâs the case.
âSomething like that. Do humans still have demons in their folklore? I think Demons the best describer.â
âA demon? In the middle of no where?â
âA demon in desperate need of a deal then.â The no-so-hologram brushes him off. âAnd you look like a human in desperate need of a ship. A win-win, really.â
âI donât need to make a deal to hotwire a ship.â
âItâs a bit too high-tech to hotwire Iâm afraid.â The demon grins, looking rather proud of the ship heâd just called a hunk of junk. âIf you make a deal with me, Iâll make you captain. The ship will respond to your every word.â
âWhatâs in it for you?â Len asks, narrowing his eyes at a deal that sounds too good to be true.
âHuman form.â The man says, suddenly looking almost wistful before the expressions gone. âYour life and our deal will sustain it, but you should barely notice the energy.â He adds, much more perky. Len considers his options and, as the energy warning in his suit flashes, he relents that he doesnât have much of a choice. Thatâs three times in a row, he hates it.
âAlright.â He agrees. âHow do we seal this?â The demon seems almost taken back at how quick he answers.
âA kiss.â He admits and then hesitates. âHumans still have marriage right? Because thereâs a few more rules I forgot to mention, they line up with a pretty traditional monogamous marriage. I mean, Iâm pretty sure neither of us have many options right now, your ship doesnât seem to be doing well, but thought I should add that in.â Heâs rambling as he says it and Len gets the impression he wasnât going to add that part in. Not a very good demon, if heâs leaving in the fine print. But heâs right, Len doesnât have many options. Even if he did, itâs not like he has long standing partner or even friends with benefits. If the demons human form is anything like his hologram form, itâll be an improvement.
âIâm sure Iâll manage.â Len says, after making sure to be obvious as he looks the demon up and down. Maybe hologram form isnât accurate, considering the way he blushes.
âWell then, uh,â Len chuckles as the hologram hesitates.
âDidnât think this far ahead?â He guesses, slipping his helmet off as the oxygen in the ship raises to breathable amounts before stepping in close and pressing their lips together. Itâs an odd kiss, feeling as the lips against his turn physical and the ships wakes up, but itâs not a bad one.
âLetâs get out of here.â He announces as they pull apart and the ship immediately responds.
Thisâll be an interesting one to explain to the crew.

You may notice poison is missing, thatâs because I got carried away and have to leave now. I will be back to finish it off soon!

i love the idea of barry just, stumbling into lgbt references fully oblivious
his favourite bar is a gay bar and he has no idea
his foster dad is a cop and very protective, so any bars his in better not be raided otherwise chief west will come after you, and everyone knows that man wont get fired because it makes the mayor look good to the large pool of black voters (joe also knows this and uses it to his advantage) so barrys a huge hit at all the gay bars and still has no idea why
1 + 12 for fanfiction tropes :)
Oo Historical and roommate aus. This'll be tricky also i'm just gonna make this coldflash lol
Barry had never had need for someone to share his house with before, but unfortunately the war took its toll on everyone. He had spent the last several days talking to people responding to his newspaper advertisement. He only had one more to do that day and then he'd continue the rest in the morning.
He was not expecting a very suave man with features as sharp as his gaze to be waiting for him. Making eye contact with him made Barry realize that maybe this particular roommate wouldn't be the best idea for the sake of his health if the way he could hear his blood rushing in his ears was any indication.
Even worse for his health is that they seemed to get along really well. He didn't say what he did for work, but had been able to prove that he made enough to pay hi portion of expenses. Against his better judgement, Barry agreed and in one week he would have a new housemate.
He had been correct about the health concerns. This man, Leonard, seemed to somehow just live in this air of cool mystery and something about it just made his heart pound. Sometimes he'd mention going to meet up with some friends of Dorothy and Barry had exactly no idea what that meant since it was obviously code for something.
Other times he would say strange things like asking if Barry had ever been to a lavender club or saying that he must make all the boys jealous. Barry had never really been to any club if he was being honest and girls had never looked at him long enough to make their beaus jealous. He had a very strange housemate. A strange housemate that made him feel strange things and think even stranger things.
It all came to a head roughly 2 months after they had started living together. Barry and leonard had been playing a nice game of chess and listening to the radio. Their hands touched and a bit of static jumped between them. Barry leaped a foot in the air and Leonard maintained his usual demeanor, though broken with a mistimed blink and a tilt of the head.
Barry chuckled nervously, "Must be a storm coming for there to be that much static in the air."
"There's certainly something in the air."
Of course, they had both been right as later that night barry found Leonard kissing him goodnight to the sound of rolling thunder.
The next time Leonard went to meet with his "friends of Dorothy" he asked Barry to join him. Unfortunately for Leonard, his friends greeted him largely with staring and asking if Barry was the gorgeous house mate. Barry knew that if they were ever to be entered in history books, their arrangement would be misconstrued as faithful friends following the tragedy of war. Not that he minded. How could he if it meant he got to spend his life with Leonard and be entered in a history book?
Perhaps one day, someone would recount the true story, but he was content with having the world believe a lie if it meant he got to live with his partner. A suave man with features and wit, as he had come to learn, as deadly sharp as his gaze.
