The Woods' family dynamic before the incident
Canada natives. They moved to Vancouver right after their father got a promotion, mainly to be closer to the nice vacation spots. Summer trips to Victoria were common, and every now and then they'd drive down to Washington for a quick two day trip. Jeff had never been too fond of vacations, even short ones, but he was forced to go anyways under the pretense of "family bonding," and as these things usually go, this only made him feel resentful.
Devout Catholics. Church every Sunday was mandatory, as were the holidays and get-togethers the church planned. The boys sometimes wondered if their parents were actually religious, or if they were only following their family's expectations. Jeff was never very religious, and only went along to avoid the inevitable headache that would come from raising a fuss, but Liu was genuinely religious, although his beliefs were nowhere near as extreme as his parents'.
They were a typical upper middle class family. Father worked a full time job, while mother worked from home part time, and was in charge of all the family outings and gatherings. Average PTA mom who expected her children to be no less than perfect. Their parents weren't the most nurturing people on the planet. They were both extremely strict, and sometimes it seemed like they cared more about appearances than their own children.
Jeff had always been the black sheep of the family, nothing had changed over night. He got mostly B's and C's in school, wasn't very social, and had interests that his parents didn't approve of. Meanwhile, Liu was the golden child, and their parents did nothing to hide their favoritism. He got straight A's in every subject, was always outgoing and friendly, and Jeff swore he never once saw his older brother object to anything his parents said. Though he tried his best, it was difficult not to feel jealous and resentful towards him. Liu was aware that his parents favored him, and tried to make up for it by being as doting towards Jeff as possible.

What Good Deeds Do The Creeps Do?
Masky
Will always give his jacket to you/a friend if they look cold. Always waits until everybody has their food before he starts eating - even in restaurants.
Hoodie
Holds the door open for everyone. Brings hand sanitizer to share and carries little tissue packets in his pocket.
Jeff
Will always tell you if you have something in your teeth/on your face. He also makes sure your outfit is always good (skirt not tucked into panties, shirt not stuck under pants, jeans cuffed evenly, etc).
Liu
He will pull peoples plants out of the sun if they look underwatered or like they're dying. He's been secretly keeping your neighbors porch plant alive for 3 months.
Jack
Steals medications as a middle finger to big pharma. Gives medical help/advice to his friends for free.
Ben
Will scam back scammers. Wastes their time, destroys their software, scares the shit out of them.
Toby
Grabs the meal trays at fast food places and puts them on the front counter so employees don't have to go into the lobby to collect them. He also cleans up after himself.

The proxies' relationships with the other killers
Despite being recruited last, the only one to meet Jeff in person is Kate. Human, proxy, monster, whatever they may be, Jeff will attack it, but seeing that Kate looked similar to himself, he was extra aggressive to "assert his dominance" or something stupid. Now proxies have incredibly high strength, speed and endurance in comparison to normal humans, but Kate is far less experienced than Jeff and ended up getting heavily injured. The proxies made it a priority to avoid the infamous smiling killer after that.
Brian and Tim both have had accidental run-ins with EJ on more than one occasion. Each instance was just one staring at the other in silence before someone eventually continued with what they were doing. Both of the proxies are deeply unsettled with the cannibal's presence, and have no intention of ever getting too close.
No one has ever met Jane, fortunately enough, given her job as an assassin, but all of them with the exception of Toby hold great respect for her. If they were to die, they wouldn't complain if it were by her hands.
Tim met Liu by chance during one of his few moments of clarity. Tim had no idea who he even was, but Liu recognized him almost instantly despite not having his mask on. They want out for drinks together to reminisce about the past or just sit in silence before parting ways. Neither have seen the other since.
Toby and the Puppeteer are well known among killers for their bad blood. Like the Operator, Puppeteer feeds off of negativity, and Toby has that in spades. There's not much one can do against a powerful poltergeist if they're not keen in exorcism, so all Toby can really do in these instances is endure the mental assault for as long as possible before the ghost gets bored, tired or both and then leaves. Needless to say, Toby's not too fond of him.
One time, Brian had to camp out in an abandoned amusement park during a thunderstorm and ran into LJ. Even in proxy mode, LJ scared the living shit out of him and he ran out of the park like a bat out of hell. He got a cold from walking in the rain for 2 hours, but that's better than getting your corpse stuffed with candy. He's not eager to meet him again.

Usually — he isn't very affectionate. So one of the fairly rare times he decides to press a chaste kiss onto your cheek, and you dodge? He takes it as disrespect. Will probably and very suddenly — take a hold of your collar rather roughly, pull you into him, lips colliding as you were completely dumbfounded. He wouldn't even be gentle about it either, he'll probably give your lips a rough tug if he's feeling especially petty. The kiss he gives you will calm him down in a few moments, but he will grunt in annoyance, becoming conscious of the reason he had been slightly irritated with you.
ﾒ TOBY
He is extremely affectionate — he's constantly pressing kisses against your skin, and muttering compliments. So the next time he leans in for a kiss, and you press your hand against his mouth before he can manage — he's a little oblivious, he genuinely thinks you just want him to kiss your hand. He brought your hands to his cheeks to rub their backs against his skin. You absolutely flush when he begins peppering them with kisses so soft it almost made you question if he was even making contact. This man is so persistent with his affection.
ﾒ JACK
Will most likely bite your hand. Contrary to popular belief — Jack isn't as mature as most people think. Yes, he's usually one of the more level-headed and mature ones among the creeps, but it doesn't mean he doesn't have his petty moments. The moment you press your hand against his face before he has the chance to kiss you— he's sinking his teeth in your hand with an annoyed expression. The bite isn't hard enough to draw blood, but just enough to basically tell you to stop your shit, and give him a kiss already. He deserves it! (He thinks he's entitled to your affectionation, and you feed into this delusion.)
ﾒ HOODIE
It's been an incredibly long day for him, he's finally home after an unnecessary amount of proxy work, and he's ready to just fall asleep with you. He leans in for a kiss — but when he's denied of it, he definitely just ignores your action and attempts to kiss you again. Making the mistake of pressing your hand against his mouth before he can kiss you will result in him glaring at you a little. Watching you, Hoodie smirks as he lands a gentle yet sharp slap on your backside — just to get back at you for being a little shit.
ﾒ MASKY
This man. He's so petty. As soon as you decide to dodge him, there’s a pair of auburn eyes burning holes in the side of your head and you can feel the gaze penetrating further and further into your skull with each passing second. Will actively ignore you until you decide to just give in, and kiss him — he might even ignore your affection if he's really feeling petty. He bites. Not just your neck, he bites your shoulder, your arm. You assume he’s going insane since he has you pinned against the bed.
ﾒ LIU
This man is so cute — if you playfully press your hand against his mouth when he tries to kiss you, he'll only smirk a little before grabbing your hand. He'll turned them around, rubbing his calluses with his thumb as he admired them. Hid lips drew a trail in kisses as they made their way up your hands from the base of your palms to the tips of your fingers. He'll compliment you — tell you how your hands are one of his favorite things. Your heart racing and breathing quickening, before you pulled his hands to your lips for a kiss of your own.
ﾒ BEN
Will fight you. Finds it annoying at first how you straight up dodged his kiss. Trying to fight back the urge to pounce on you and giggle with you like a shy school boy. After he resorts to tickling your sides he gives up and spins around to grab your hands, tumbling on the bed and wrestling with you. He doesn’t need any strength to keep you down, you’re too busy laughing under him — he presses a few kisses to your face and has a goofy little smile on his face.

The proxies relationships with each other
Tim and Brian's relationship is... strained, to put it gently. I don't think "hate" is the correct word here, but they both harber intense resentment about what they put each other through. But they also feel immense guilt, especially Tim. They begrudgingly work together after the Operator won the ongoing war with them and they fully became his proxies, but neither of them enjoy what they do. They had to helplessly watch as Toby willingly threw himself at the Operator's feet, and as poor Kate was put through hell just because she saw something she shouldn't have. If given the chance, they would betray the Operator in a heartbeat, but unfortunately that chance may never come. The one time they truly get along is when they make their yearly visit to Jay's grave.
Toby is the youngest of the group. He's the only one who is genuinely loyal to the Operator and will follow his orders without hesitation. He will commit any atrocity, kill any number of people, and even harm those he cares about (not that there are any) if it is asked of him. Tim and Brian fucking hate him for this. Of course, even if he wasn't the Operator's biggest simp, the others still wouldn't particularly like him. Sure, Tim can be short with people and Brian is a manipulative little shit, but they're not mean spirited by nature unlike Toby. They do everything they possibly can to not work with Toby, and the same can be said the other way around. He just prefers working alone anyways. He tolerates Kate to a certain extent, but he is baffled at how horrified she is of their master. In his eyes, he's their savior and she should be grateful. Another reason why Tim and Brian, the founders of the Kate Defense Squad hate him so much.
Kate was so severely traumatized by the whole ordeal that she became selectively mute. She has some difficulties taking care of herself due to how bad her anxiety became, but has enough clarity not to attach herself to anyone she deems as safe for fear of hurting them. She tries to be as cooperative with her fellow proxies as possible even if she's not particularly emotionally attached to them. She's extremely protective of them and desperately wants to shield them from any more harm. She's well aware of Toby's loyalty to the Operator, but unlike Tim and Brian who wrote him off as a lost cause, she still hopes that it's only a phase and he'll snap out of it eventually. Watching Tim and Brian fight causes her to have a panic attack, so they try to get along when she's around.

-they don’t live in a mansion together
-most of them (the ones that don’t depend on e.g technology like BEN) either live in abandoned factories, huts in the forest or something like that
-some have never met eachother, others simply work together for some missions because of their connection to the slenderman
-the slenderman isn’t a father figure to them, he is something between a boss and a blackmailer
-i think they are all absolutely loyal to him but simply because they have no other option. they know that the slender man could potentially kill them anytime if they were worthless to him
-they probably all smell bad
-some may use the chance to shower at their victims house if the kill was messy, some don’t bother (cough cough jeff cough)
-they survive from gas station or 7/11 food they either steal or buy with stolen money
-i don’t think the wounds they had before they became creepypastas can get infected or heal (jeff’s scars, toby’s face gash etc)
-not one of them is a small bean or a softie or whatever
-some are more empathetic than others but at the end of the day al of their empathy is extremely limited

Some notes on my au/Slenderbros headcanons
The Operator and Slenderman are two separate entities. They're both eldritch horrors, but the Operator is far more malevolent and nasty, going out of his way to torment people until they eventually break and "transform" into his proxies. Whereas Slender is just kinda vibing.
The Operator, Slenderman, Trenderman, Splendorman, and Offenderman are all part of the same "species," whatever the hell that may be, but are not brothers. The latter four collaborate with each other on occasion and won't correct you if you do mistakenly refer to them as "brothers," but they will be incredibly offended if you associate them with the Operator. They cannot stand him and the feeling is mutual.
The quartet, while still being powerful, are all far weaker than the Operator as well. The Operator feeds off of negative energy which he sows by stalking and torturing his victims - which can be adults or even children, he isn't picky - and reaps by either "proxifying" the strong ones or slaughtering and eating the weak ones. Viciously. This greatly disturbs and even disgusts them.
So they're not senseless killers by any means, but they're not exactly morally upstanding either (except for maybe Trender). Slender has an entire mansion dedicated to housing and protecting lone killers, monsters and poltergeists. The Human Realm and the Monster Realm are incompatible with each other in his eyes, and he wants to give them a place to call home now that they have "rejected their humanity." He won't outright harm them himself, but he absolutely won't hesitate to ban anyone who disturbs the peace. When it comes to outsiders, however, he can get... violent. He'll just scare off any curious human who gets too close without physically hurting them, but anyone with foul intentions will be disposed of immediately. There's a reason the SCP Foundation hasn't been able to lay a hand on him.
Trender is an odd case, an outcast even among his "brothers." He fully embraces his humanity and is infatuated with human culture and behavior. In fact, most of his time is spent in the Human Realm in a more, shall we say socially acceptable form. He loves his brothers dearly, but unfortunately due to their limited emotional capacity, the feeling cannot be fully returned, although Splendor tries, at least.
Speaking of which... Splendor is a guardian entity of sorts with the sole purpose of protecting children. He has a unique ability that essentially "blesses" any child he comes in contact with. If a deathly sick child is suddenly cured, or if a depressed child is somehow happy and smiley out of seemingly nowhere, you can safely bet that they have been visited by Splendor. On the flip side, he is the most brutal and violent out of the four, and won't think twice to tear apart anyone or anything who dares harm a child. That being said, he absolutely despises Laughing Jack and Mr. Widemouth, and is the reason why Candle Cove eventually went off the air, although how he managed to accomplish this is still unknown.
(Let me get one thing straight. This is a fandom built around horror, gore, and topics that generally make one uncomfortable. However, there are some lines I just won't cross, and SA is one of them. So, here's my version of Offender.)
Like Trender, Offender is also one who indulges in the luxuries of the Human Realm, but unlike the former, he never sticks around. He is, for lack of a better word, a "player." He lives for passion and debauchery, and sees no reason to waste his endless years cooped up in a mansion or babysitting children all day. Every night is filled with drinking, gambling, and sex with any woman who is interested, in some cases (well, many cases) more than one at once. In his opinion, women are the best thing humanity has to offer. He is not a predator, though. It's unknown how the unfortunate nickname was bestowed upon him, but he hates it with a passion. Why would he force himself on someone when their enthusiastic consent and eagerness for him is part of how fucking sexy they are? Anyways, don't think that makes him an saint. He'll still leave the second the sun begins to rise. Commitment isn't exactly his forte.
