BUBBLE FROG
Recently I released my newest Gameboy Project. This little platformer sees you take control of a cute little frog in a bubble, bouncing your way through dangerous areas to collect Onigiri for your friend OniGary.
You can play it HERE for FREE!

In my game project the player will use a communicator heavily inspired by the Gameboy Advance SP. I wanted to create something familiar but also kind sci-fi.
The logo on the back of the device is supposed to be of a company in the world called Box Energy, the energy company who keeps the island running. Alas the logo in this situation ended up looking very Pokemon. As a result in the final version this is getting redesigned.

Some assets I’ve created in the process of learning basic 3D modelling and texturing along side learning Unreal Engine 5. The end goal is to make a little prototype using the visual style of games like Dr.Slump and Megaman Legends.
I’ve only got a few assets so far but I’m proud of the work I’ve done and hopefully the process will speed up as I become more confident with my choice of tools.
Tools used; -Blockbench -Aseprite

Some more “pages” from the CYOA book that doesn’t exist. This is more of an experimental project with no real goal but the more I get a feeling for it the more I wanna develop it into SOMETHING even if I don’t know what yet.

Bringing Sexy Back! A while ago I was showing a friend how you could use different tools in photoshop to merge bits and remove a whole face...then I went full derp and drew a face on it. This has ended up becoming one of my best selling designs at conventions! Not the pieces I spent aaaaaaaages on! Haha.

A duo of prints I made a few years back now and often a centre piece of my table at conventions when showing off my art due to the eye catching colours and cheeky sense of humour :D

Junji Ito’s The Enigma of Amigara Fault is one of his creepiest tales in my opinion, short, simple, and unnervingly ambiguous. Of course the only logical thing to do was to celebrate my love for it with a Tetris Cross Over!

Fishy Capers was a series of mock-up screen shots for a game I dreamed of making about a world of Fish people. There would be a “Freak Show” at the local circus which is full of normal humans, and the local church would be dedicated to Dagon but the focus would be Steven Pennington, a bored upper class bachelor who fancies himself as a bit of a detective.
Still a project I’d like to return too one day when I can find the inspiration needed to write a good script!

As a huge fan of Shin Godzilla and having grown up watching Rugrats every Saturday morning on Live and Kicking on CBBC (yes I’m old) I couldn’t resist smashing the two together to bring the world Shin Reptar! ROOOOAR!

This year I took part in the MY FIRST GAME JAM event on Itch.io. I’ve never made a game before, so it was an exciting 2 weeks. I ended up being influenced by Iron Lung and In Other Waters and created a super short (a few minutes at most) “horror” game (it’s about as scary as a toddler shouting “BOO!”).
If you wanna give it a go you can check it out HERE!

A number of years back now I did a piece of fan art for a Youtuber I really enjoyed called Civvie11. Fast Forward to today and that piece is now his channel logo and has ended up popping up in multiple games. Bit weird to see my work popping up like that but all credit goes to Civvie as it’s his hard work and well earned fame which has resulted in such things!
Anyway, more recently I did this piece for a bit of fun of Civvie and the crew hanging out outside his cell.

As a big fan of Table Top RPGs I’ve always enjoyed making bits and bobs for games. Along with stuff like my own Custom Character Sheet for D&D, I also made this Dungeon Tile Set which also comes with standees featuring some weird little creatures of my own design :D They’re all printable so if you’ve got a printer and want some D&D stuff check them out!

So recently due to a screw up on my meds I had to go a few days without, needless to say my brain had an interesting time and while doodling I ended up creating the sketch that would grow into this...thing? I have no idea where it came from, what it’s all about, I don’t think I was trying to say anything with it. I had been reading the Mork Borg book a lot, so maybe that’s to blame?

So I’ve been playing around with a concept in my head ever since seeing THIS VIDEO of building a world but through super limited visuals and text, embracing the ‘less is more’ for people looking for inspiration for their own TTRPG or other worlds. It’s super fun, only a pass time currently but I hope to expand this project in the future into something bigger!
