I saw your comments on those grishaverse reposts from that account that is not properly crediting the artists or even checking to see if they allow reposts and I just want to say thank you and I appreciate you. I often reach out to blogs that don’t properly credit reposts or respect repost policies and some people are so rude about it. So thank you for fighting the good fight ♥️

aww thank you, this is such a nice message. I appreciate that you call out reposters too, I find them so annoying and pathetic. artists spend their time, effort, and creativity into creating content to share online and its so frustrating when people feel entitled to just take it and post it wherever they want without credit or permission. and then get their back up when they’re called out for it.

and it’s really disheartening to see that (because it’s so deeply prevalent in online communities to steal art) reposters and people who knowingly support reposted art just don’t care at all because “everyone does it.” it’s common enough to steal art that they know they won’t face any real repercussions or backlash for it because they can just say they didn’t know it was wrong and then get away with keeping it up on their blog, and then underlying bully the artist into letting them keep it there.
