FAQ & TAGGING SYSTEM
FAQ
Please make sure you read this before sending us an ask. ♡
Do I have to crate a work for every single prompt?
No, you can participate as much as you want, producing one work or seven, it`s up to you. Just remember to have fun!
I`m writing fanfic and I want to post it in my AO3 account, do I have to post it here too?
You don`t have to do that if you don`t want to, but if you`d like for your work to be added into the event blog, you`d have to post it using a Tumblr account. You can simply add the link that takes to your fanfic, just remember to check our tagging system below before doing so!
Does this event have a collection on AO3?
It most definitely does! This is the link: Jasico Week AO3 Collection.
Can I combine Jasico Week with other creation challenges?
Yes, as long as the other event allows it. We just want everyone to enjoy the event and celebrate this lovely ship!
What if I don`t like a prompt?
Along with a list of official prompts for each of the seven days, we also came up with three alternative prompts from which you can chose to replace a prompt. We want to allow everyone to crate as much as possible.
Can I post early?
Yes, but we won`t be rebbloging anythig before the event starts.
What about posting late?
We will reblog posts from the correct date and posts up to one day late. For example, if you couldn`t post your work for day two in time, we will still reblog it on day three, but it will only count as day two, so you have to post another work for day three for it to count as filled.
Can I make NSFW content?
Yes, as long as it is clearly flagged that it`s NSFW at the top of the post.
Is there a min/max limit on word count?
No, write as little or as much as you want.
If your question wasn`t answered or if you`re confused about anything, feel free to send us an ask, we`d be happy to help!
TAGGING SYSTEM
We want to make sure we reblog all of your works, so it`s important that it`s tagged correctly when posted into Tumblr. Please follow this system so that we can find your creation.

Our Days Together
This was written for yet another exchange hosted by @ashilrak. This was for the Spring 2023 Equinox. It was so much and I had a really great time writing this. I highly recommend joining the upcoming Summer exchanges as the community for it is absolutely amazing.
Summary: Changes in a relationship are never easy. For demigods, it was even harder. But Will and Nico always found a way. Through all the changes and challenges. Through every hardship, they found each other.
A simple collection of Solangelo moments as the two prepare for a new part of life.
Word Count: 4,426
Here’s a link if you prefer to read on AO3: Link
Most people were lucky enough to never be able to say they had been through the horrors of war. For demigods though, that was never the case. Even if they didn’t have to deal with the wars the gods tended to cause, they were still stuck being hunted by monsters and sometimes even other gods. While in the modern day, it seemed unheard of to bury someone that hadn’t even hit sixteen, demigods had been forced to mourn and bury children as young as five. It was an awful life.
But those that survived made sure to live. They knew any day could be their last so why risk not living it to the fullest? That was how Will saw it anyway. He had been through a majority of the troubles over the past few years. His life hadn’t even started off as nice as some demigods. His mom loved him but Apollo tended to attract a certain crowd and it wasn’t long before she grew too busy to actually look after him. By that point, Will was shipped off to live with his grandparents. At first, it seemed perfect. He was the perfect child in many ways. He was quiet and sweet. He was always ready to help. But he was different. In a way, his grandparents didn’t really know what to do with it. They couldn’t see through the mist so when Will was sobbing and hiding from the monsters that hunted after him, they thought he just had an active imagination. It all quickly got too much and his mom decided the best place for him was Camp Half-Blood. So at a mere ten years old, Will was left to be raised by his older half-brothers.
It wasn’t the worst life. If anything, it was amazing. At least at first. Will's two older brothers loved him and taught him everything about how to survive the demigod life. And Will loved it. He had fun playing with his brothers and sisters and the other kids.
Then the wars happened.
At a mere thirteen years old, Will was burying the majority of his siblings, and those that did survive he was now in charge of. As his siblings described it, that was the day Will stopped glowing. The childish innocence and joy in him were killed. And Will swore to himself, he’d never let it happen to his other siblings. They didn’t need to know what it was like to have the weight of everyone else on their shoulders. At least not while they were young. He’d make sure of that.
Then the second war happened and Will was forced to accept that he couldn’t protect his siblings from it. He had no choice but to have them see the horrors of war again. It broke him even more. But they made it through with thankfully fewer casualties. And in the end, Will got his glow back.
Will was like Apollo in many ways. Apart from looking nearly exactly what someone would imagine a child of the sun god to look like, Will also had the habit of falling in love just like his father. When he fell, he fell hard. And at just the age of thirteen, he understood just what that meant. Even though the fighting and death, Will managed to fall in love with one of the only sons of Hades, Nico. Will knew of Nico but the two had never actually met until after the first war. And while Will would love to say he fell for Nico from the first conversation the truth was he fell much earlier. He had seen Nico riding in a chariot with Hades and from that very moment, he was in love. Nico was beyond beautiful to the son of Apollo. Dark hair and eyes that contradicted his pale skin in the most angelic way. It was enough to drive Will crazy.
Of course, the fates were never nice. And within weeks of the war ending and Will working up the confidence to ask Nico out, Nico was gone. Will was heartbroken.
Then the Giants War happened.
Will couldn’t tell anyone why he felt the need to argue with Nico or mention that he had just delivered a baby, but he did. But it didn’t matter. Because within weeks of that war ending, the two were together. It was a strange pairing but they quickly became the camp's main source of gossip, finally taking attention from Percy and Annabeth.
The two loved each other. They respected and cherished each other. They saw each other at their lowest points and took care of each other. As everyone said, they were like an old married couple from the moment they began to date.
They had a routine that never changed.
At least until recently.
Will and Nico had managed to beat the odds and were now eighteen. Will was getting ready for college. Nico was forced to acknowledge they were adults. Will had to make sure his siblings would be okay without him. Nico had to figure out what he was doing with his life.
“You’re not wearing that to dinner,” Nico all but hissed as he looked at his boyfriend who was wearing what could only be described as the ugliest outfit in the world. A bright yellow and orange suit with flip flops.
“I think I look good,” Will said, looking at the reflection of Nico in his mirror as he fixed his hair to look a bit nicer.
Nico had a complicated relationship with his father. That being that he regularly complained about Hades and acted like he couldn’t stand the god but he still worked for Hades and regularly joined him for dinner. This time, Will had been invited as well.
“You look like you let one of his siblings paint on your clothes,” Nico said, going to his boyfriend's closet and looking for the suit he had bought Will for a situation just like this. “When I bought that for you, I told you that under no circumstances should you wear that unless you were trying to one-up Apollos' horrible style,” he said, pulling out the black suit.
“Can I at least wear the orange tie?” Will asked, turning to look at his boyfriend with a slight pout that made Nico snort slightly.
“Fine, but don’t blame me when Hades starts complaining about you being like your father,” Nico teased while smiling as he ruffled Will's hair up.
“Hey, I just fixed it,” Will complained, going to fix his hair again.
“I like it messy,” Nico said, happily ruffling Will's hair once more. “Hurry up, we’re already late and I’m hungry.”
“What am I even going to eat? I’d prefer to not end up like Persephone or Eurydice.” Will said, making Nico roll his eyes.
“Would you relax? We’re going to have Mcdonalds'. If everything goes well, maybe we can even get dessert afterward, just you and me.” Nico said while smiling as he gently kissed Will's cheek.
Will smiled and was quick to kiss Nicos' cheek back. Once the two were ready, Nico pulled them through the shadows to the Underworld. It wasn’t the first time Will had been there. When the two first began to date, Hades had basically kidnapped Will in order to make sure he was good enough for Nico. He was only there for about an hour before Nico showed up and threatened Hades but it was still a chance for him to experience the Underworld.
The Underworld, at least to Will, was beautiful. It was cold and damp, sure, but there was an air of calm and peacefulness. It was a peacefulness that could only exist for those surrounded by the dead. Like an eternal sleep that took away all fear and responsibility. Will loved it.
Nico lead Will into the grand castle of Hades and to the dining room. He walked past everything without a second thought, long used to the winding rooms of the castle and the beauty that existed in everything. Will did his best to keep up while also looking at everything he could. The dead flowers that littered the halls, unable to grow without the queen of the Underworld yet still cherished and loved in beautiful vases. Paintings of the myths and heroes lined the walls. Will eventually stopped at a portrait of Nico. He wore a suit that reminded Will of suits he had seen in paintings from the Victorian era. In the painting, Nico had a small smirk on his face as if he plotting something. But he was gorgeous. He looked like an angel, especially in the candlelight that illuminated the painting.
Nico noticed Will had stopped following him when he went to turn the corner. He looked back at his boyfriend staring at the portrait and blushed slightly in embarrassment,
“Persephone says that’s the best portrait of me since I’m actually smiling.” He said, forcing Will back to reality and reminding him he was still in the Underworld.
“You look pretty,” Will said, looking over at Nico while smiling. “Sometimes it doesn’t feel real that I have you,” he whispered quietly as he walked over to his boyfriend. He really didn’t see what Nico saw in him. He was just a messy child of Apollo, one of nearly a hundred in the present. Nico was Nico. The only living son of Hades and heir to the Underworld with a beauty that lived up to his last name.
“Well start, believing we’re together. I’ve put in too much work to give you manners.” Nico teased as the two walked deeper into the castle and came to a large dining room where Hades sat. Nico bowed to the god. “Father.” He greeted him politely before taking his seat.
“Son and my sons’…ever bright lover, how lovely you two could finally join us.” Hades greeted as the two mortals sat across from him.
Will was in utter awe as he sat next to Nico. They were served McDonald's on fancy gold and silver plates by ghosts and skeletons. Never mind they were sitting across from literal gods. This felt like something out of one of the fantasy novels he used to make his brothers read to him. He kept looking around at everything. Everything in the Underworld said everything about the king and queen. Flowers that, while now dead, were very beautiful. Every item was gold or silver or covered in the most precious of gems. It was grand and a little ridiculous but Will loved it. It reminded him so much of Nico. Dark and gloomy but fancy.
“So, what exactly do you plan for my son?” Hades spoke, causing Nico to nearly choke on his cheeseburger and Will's face to go red.
“I’m not sure what you mean, my lord,” Will said, not sure what else to say. Suddenly he was reminded of what was happening. He was meeting his boyfriends' father. His boyfriends' father who was the king of the dead. Kronos’ oldest son. One of the most terrifying and powerful gods. And his boyfriends' father.
“Oh please.” Hades said. “You seriously can’t pretend you don’t have some kind of Ulterior motives.”
“Father, whatever you are doing, stop it,” Nico said, glaring at the god he, unfortunately, had to call his father.
“Silence, Nico.” Hades ordered. “I will not have my only child be made a fool by some child of Apollo,” he said, crossing his arms and glaring at the blonde boy before him.
“I’m really not sure what you mean Lord Hades,” Will said.
“Oh please, your mother is a struggling singer.” Hades said. “Tell me, are you dating my son solely for his money?”
“Father!” Nico yelled, standing up.
“No Nico, it’s okay.” Will said. “I completely understand your fears Lord Hades, but I can assure you, I would never do anything like that,” he said. “But it doesn’t really matter, because me saying it will prove nothing.” He said, keeping his face completely calm and serious. “So instead I’ll give you a deal. If I ever start to become unworthy of Nico…well, do the godly thing.”
Nico was about to scold Will for saying something like that but Hades cut in.
“I like him,” the god said, a rare smile forming on his face.
“I didn’t come here for your approval of my relationship.” Nico said, glaring at his father.
“I know.” Hades said. “But I know how Apollos' children are. You picked a good one. He’s not completely stupid or annoying.”
“I can guarantee you I am.” Will joked, getting a small chuckle out of the god.
Will slowly managed to relax and from then on, dinner went smoothly. Though Nico seemed slightly annoyed the rest of the evening.
— When the two arrived back at camp, it was already well past curfew. Not that either of them cared as they stood in the darkness of the Hades cabin.
“That was the stupidest thing you’ve ever done,” Nico said, glaring at Will. “I mean seriously, you basically just gave my father permission to kill you if you ever break up with me!” he yelled.
“I know,” Will said, smiling slightly. “I don’t care though. I love you, Nico. You made me believe in soulmates and I’m not losing that magic.”
“You are…disgustingly sweet,” Nico said, pinching Will's cheek. “And very stupid. I’m still mad at you.” He said, going to change out of his suit.
“I know.” Will said while smiling. “But that’s why you love me,” he teased, sticking his tongue out playfully at Nico.
“Yeah yeah,” Nico said, slipping into the bathroom and changing into his PJs before coming out again. “Get changed so we can get to bed. I want to cuddle with my stupid lovely boyfriend.”
Will chuckled and went to the bathroom to change. He had been keeping things in Nicos' cabin for almost a month now. He had been so excited when Nico suggested it. Of course, the two had little sleepovers before that but not very frequently. And Will didn’t need to sleep in his jean shorts ever again. He went back to the main area of the cabin and curled up with Nico in the small twin bed.
“Remind me again why you don’t ask the Hephaestus kids to make you a proper cabin with like a kitchen and living. Make it as a real house like Percy did? You’ve got it all to yourself the majority of the time. Might as well make it a proper home.” Will said.
“We’ll have a proper home when we move out of camp permanently and you start college. I’ll take care of us till you start working.” Nico said.
“You’ve got it all planned huh?” Will asked while smiling. “Humor me, tell me our future,” he said, making Nico chuckle slightly.
“Us, married firstly. I’m giving you two years to propose to me before I do it myself.” Nico said. “And us in a nice house. Something huge for our kids and so our friends and family can visit. Not to mention a giant backyard. And of course, a summer home in Italy where we can get the best tasting and freshest wine and coffee.” He looked at Will whose chest he now had his head laid on. He frowned when he saw Will's tears. “Did I upset you?”
“No,” Will promised, leaning down and gently kissing Nicos' forehead. “I just love that picture. Us together in a nice big home. With kids, we can protect and love.”
“They’ll have a far better life than us,” Nico promised.
“Definitely,” Will said, smiling brightly and gently kissing Will's lips. “I love you.”
“I love you too.”
— When the morning came, Will was the first one awake. It came with being an Apollo kid, you awoke with the sun. He looked at Nico who was still fast asleep but was now curled up in a way that he barely took up half the bed. Will could never get over how adorable Nico was when he slept. During the day Nico could easily come off as brash and rude but whenever he slept, Will saw just who Nico was. He was a sweet kid who just tried to keep himself safe. Will adored it. He gently kissed Nicos' forehead before he slipped out of bed and got himself ready, heading off to the infirmary to get some work done.
It didn’t seem real that this was his life. His childhood had been difficult and after losing so many people he loved, he thought he’d be alone forever. That had been one of the first things he and Nico bonded over. Losing everyone they cared about. Thinking they were doomed to be alone and that the way they loved was a sin. They had found comfort and love in that. They saw each other at their lowest and still found love.
It was something Will never thought he’d be lucky to have.
It was barely an hour later when Nico woke up. He had grown used to waking up without Will. No matter how long they had been together or how hard Will tried, they seemed to still be complete opposites. It was strange waking up with this longing to be with his boyfriend. Nico had lived so long believing he’d never be able to have a true love life. He had grown up hearing stories of people like him being stoned. Heard stories of people being arrested for simply loving someone of the same sex. It was enough to terrify anyone. But now he had Will. He had people who wanted their relationship to succeed and who helped them through rough patches.
Nico would never forget the first fight they had. As much as their differences seemed to cause more arguments, they could be very stubborn in the same, most annoying way. They had only been dating for a few months when everyone learned about his birthday. — “I don’t want a birthday party,” Nico said for what was probably the one-thousandth time as the Seven, Will, Nico, Reyna, and Thaila all sat in the Jackson’s apartment. It was meant to be a simple get-together for them all to talk and catch up yet had somehow turned into trying to plan Nico’s upcoming birthday. “How did you guys even find out about that? I’ve never told anyone.”
“Thanatos told me,” Hazel said with a bright smile on her face.
“Plus I have all your medical records so I doubled-checked,” Will said. “Plus your family was, like, super rich and powerful. All we had to do was look up your last name and your entire family history was found.”
“That’s…incredibly creepy. You googled-stalked your own boyfriend? Your own boyfriend who’s older than literally all technology.” Nico said, completely shocked that any of them would look him up.
“Yeah, we were curious,” Percy said while smiling. “If you told us information about yourself maybe we wouldn’t have to,” he said.
“I should hurt you all!” Nico yelled, beyond angry at this invasion of his privacy. And the fact his friends wanted to plan a birthday party for him with that information was even worse. Nico hadn’t celebrated his birthday since he was eight and he really didn’t feel like starting now. His birthday was just another reminder of how confused he was about everything and how little had been left of his original life.
“Come on Nico, just a small party. You deserve it.” Will said, giving his boyfriend a small pouty face. That always seemed to do the trick when he wanted Nico to agree to something.
“No!” Nico yelled, glaring at the group of his friends. “I don’t want a birthday. I don’t even want to acknowledge the day as anything more than a normal day.”
“Why?” Thaila asked. “I mean it’s not like your birthday is scarred by anything super serious,” she said.
“That’s what I imagine someone who chose to be locked out of time would say.” Nico practically growled as he glared at the daughter of Zeus.
“Nico, I think that’s a little harsh. We just want to celebrate you and all you’ve ever done,” Jason said, trying to make the party sound far more enticing.
“I appreciate you wanting to be nice but the answer is still a hard no,” Nico said. “I don’t want a birthday.”
“Alright. Fine, we won’t celebrate your birthday.” Will said, giving in.
Of course, that didn’t mean they weren’t still going to try. They just wouldn’t hold a formal birthday party.
So when Nico woke up the next morning to a cupcake with black frosting and little ghost chocolates, he had a pretty good idea of what to expect. The annoyance didn’t go away when he walked into the Apollo cabin to check on Will that morning and was immediately greeted by Will handing him a gift.
“What happened to not celebrating my birthday?” Nico asked, refusing to take the gift from his boyfriend. “I told you I didn’t want to.”
“It’s just a cupcake and a present from me. I don’t think it counts as a real celebration.” Will said, still trying to get Nico to accept the present. “Come on, I worked really hard to get you this gift,” he said, pouting slightly.
“No!” Nico yelled. “I don’t want anything. I can’t believe you really went behind my back to do this! You completely went against my very simple wishes,” he said, seething with anger.
“Well, I’m sorry for wanting to do something nice for my boyfriend!” Will yelled.
Nico rolled his eyes and stormed off, going to his cabin.
“I can’t believe him,” Will said, putting the gift on his bed before getting ready for work.
“I don’t know, for Nico that’s a pretty calm reaction.” Austin, Will's younger brother, spoke up. “I told you he wouldn’t like you going behind his back like that.”
“Yeah well, he still didn’t need to yell at me,” Will mumbled, looking down. He knew it was a bad idea. But he couldn’t help himself. He loved Nico and wanted to be able to show it by spoiling him. He had never been able to truly care about someone like that. He knew Nico hadn’t experienced that in a very long time.
Still, he should’ve known better than to just expect Nico to be okay with something like this. He shouldn’t have just expected him to be okay with this. He knew Nico. He knew he didn’t like any reminders of his past. He sighed.
“I really messed up, didn’t I?” Will asked.
“Yep,” Austin said. “Good luck making it up to him.”
Will frowned and looked at the gift. He picked it up and left his cabin. Instead of going to the infirmary, he went to Nico’s cabin. He gently knocked on the door. He waited to hear any sign of permission to enter. When that didn’t happen, he began to speak.
“Nico…I know I really upset you.” He said softly. “I’m so sorry I went behind your back. I shouldn’t have done anything. I should’ve accepted your answer. I’m really sorry.” He said, setting the gift by the door. “I’ll leave your gift here. Don’t think of it as a birthday. Instead, it’s just a present from your boyfriend because he really does love you.” He said, beginning to walk away only for the door to open.
“Love you too,” Nico mumbled, hugging Will from behind. “But you better not do anything like that again.”
“I won’t, I promise,” Will said, carefully turning to hug Nico. “Now pretty please open your gift. I want to see your reaction.”
Nico chuckled and picked up the gift. He opened it carefully. Inside was a beautiful hand-sewn blanket. It had his and Will's symbols on it as well as images of importance to them. Like Camp Half-Blood Hill where the two first began really flirting and talking. Nico felt tears prick his eyes. “Will, this is amazing,” Nico said, wrapping himself in the warm fabric. “How did you do this?”
“I asked Annabeth to teach me. You’re always cold, I thought you’d enjoy a nice warm blanket made with love.” Will said while smiling. He had never seen a brighter smile on Nico’s face. He wanted to make sure Nico always got to experience moments like this. He wanted to be able to spoil him regularly in every way he could. He knew he didn’t have a way to provide them with the perfect life yet, but one day he would. He’d make sure of it.
“It’s amazing, I love it so much,” Nico said, nuzzling his face against the soft cloth of the quilt. “I don’t think I’ve ever had such a caring gift. Thank you so much,” he said, hugging Will tightly while smiling. Will happily hugged back, kissing Nicos' cheek.
“I have to get to work. Afterward, we can cuddle under it,” Will said, glowing with excitement.
“Don’t overwork yourself too hard,” Nico said. “Or do and I’ll kidnap you tomorrow and keep you on bed lockdown,” he teased, before going back to hiding in his cabin to wait for Will to finish his shift. — Nico gently ran his hand along the quilted blanket from so many years ago. Very soon it’d be packed up with the rest of his stuff to move to New Rome. It was such a major change but Nico looked forward to it. Mostly because of their plans. After all, as the son of Hades, he couldn’t fly. But Will did have his license. And Nico had wanted to travel as much as he could now that he was a legal adult and could do stuff.
That was how they decided on a fun road trip. A few weeks ago they had gone to a dealership and Will bought the perfect car for them. The two had mapped out every side stop they wanted to make and had plans for everything. They wanted to have fun before Will was stuck in school for what would feel like forever.
But they’d make it through. After two wars and losing everyone who loved and cared for them. It was only right that they’d make it through. They wanted this life. They wanted this future together. They wanted their love to last through the ages. Nico would do everything to fight for that. Will would as well. They’d be happy and together, forever.

The two had met early in the morning in the woods that day. A plan in their heart that was so secret that no one knew about it. Not their friends or family. Not even the gods. It had to be this way they told themselves. Sure their friends and families would be supportive but not the gods. One would think after forcing two people to give their whole life to them that they could be granted this one wish. But it never worked that way. And today would be a happy day. They swore not on the River Styx, but to each other that today would be one to remember.
And it was.
Being a demigod came with so many hardships but those hardships formed the strongest of bonds. And no bond was stronger than the one between Percy and Jason. They had been born to be enemies. One of the ocean, one of the sky. Their fathers both rivals on the best of days and complete enemies at worst. They even came from paths that should result in bloodshed. A Greek and Roman. Yet here they stood, Jason with his hands on Percy's waist as they gently swayed together in the early morning breeze.
The last day of summer. A day dreamed of by so many Greek demigods and now made even better. For today was the day that Percy would finally be allowed to marry Jason. The two had kept their secret for months. Sure they both knew people, and most likely the gods, knew they were together. But they didn’t need to know just how much. They didn’t need to know that six months ago, Jason had snuck into Percy's cabin late at night and proposed. They didn’t need to know that the ring that suddenly appeared on Percy's necklace wasn’t actually a college graduation present from his parents but instead a simple yet elegant engagement ring.
“I love you,” Jason whispered as he gently pressed his face against Percy's shoulder. It felt unreal that they were doing this. It went against everything Jason believed in. They were polar opposites in that way. Jason had grown up honoring the gods to the highest degree. If they demanded it, he followed blindly. He didn’t always like it, but he didn’t have much choice in the matter. Percy on the other hand openly went against the gods. Sure he never tried to rise up against them and had helped take down the uprising that led to this moment. But Percy didn’t respect the gods like Jason did. Percy held anger towards them and while he did what they asked, it wasn’t because the gods asked him, it was to keep his family safe.
“I love you too,” Percy whispered, gently kissing Jason’s temple as the two clung to each other. They were about to do what was probably the stupidest thing they could. Go against direct orders. Direct orders by Jason's stepmother. They could very well be killed for this but neither of them cared. Because at least they’d die together.
The two slowly pulled out of the hug, keeping their fingers intertwined as they began to walk deeper into the woods just as the God Apollo filled the gaps in the trees with golden light.
“You know, this is a terribly stupid plan,” Jason said. “Like, Leo-level stupid. Stupid enough that when we get back we’ll be lucky if everyone doesn’t start a game of capture the idiots.”
Ever the worrier. Percy simply laughed.
“At least we’ll be hunted together,” Percy joked. “Besides, the real person we should fear is my mom. She’ll actually kill us for not inviting her,” he teased, making Jason cringe at the thought.
Jason loved Percys' mom. Ever since he began to date Percy, Sally had done her best to make Jason feel welcomed and be the motherly figure the boy so desperately wanted without ever knowing. But he also knew what she was capable of. One didn’t manage to get the king of the ocean and raise his child without being stubborn.
“At least we’ll die happy,” Jason joked. “And we can spend forever in Elysium, being young and in love,” he teased, bringing Percys' hand up to his mouth and gently kissing it.
“That’s actually not a bad trade-off,” Percy said, pretending to actually consider the option, making Jason laugh. Gods that laugh would never grow old.
Finally, the two entered the small clearing in the woods. It was a beautiful area filled with wildflowers and a few strawberry bushes that lost their way from camp. It may not be the scene one would expect for two princes about to marry but it was perfect for them.
“Ready?” Jason asked, turning to face Percy as he now held both of Percy’s hands. Percy always seemed so cold compared to everyone else. He supposed being a child of the ocean created that.
“I believe you mean, do you take me to be your husband,” Percy teased, once again dragging a sweet and gentle chuckle from Jason's chest.
“Do you Perseus Jackson, take me, Jason Grace, to be your husband?” Jason asked, smiling as he looked at the man he swore to himself that he’d love forever.
“I do,” Percy said. “And do you, Jason Grace, take me, Perseus Jackson, to be your husband?” Percy asked, looking at the beautiful son of Jupiter.
“I do,” Jason said, his heart beginning to race as he did something completely unplanned and absolutely stupid. “I swear on The River Styx to love you forever. I will live for you and die for you. I will take care of you and protect you from all harm. I will be the absolute best husband in the world to you, Percy. I may not have much, but I will always give all my love to you,” He said, thunder tearing through the clearing and completely catching Percy off guard.
“Are you stupid?!” Percy asked, freaking out slightly. He was beyond honored that Jason loved him so much that he’d make an oath like that, but that oath could never be broken or else Percy would actually lose Jason.
“Stupid in love,” Jason said, a calming smile on his face. “I mean it, Percy. Not even death could make me stop loving you. And if I ever lost you, I want to die. I don’t want to live in a world without you,”
Percy didn’t know what to say. Of course, he was honored. Of course, he felt the exact same way. But that didn’t change how stupid such a promise like that was. Still, Percy wouldn’t let Jason be stupid alone.
“I, Percy Jackson, hereby swear on The River Styx, to be Jason's husband. I will love him forever and only allow myself to die peacefully when he does. I will take care of him and show him exactly what it means to have a loving family,” Percy said, smirking slightly at the thunder rumbling around them as Jason blushed.
“I love you, Percy Jackson,” Jason said, carefully dipping Percy and gently kissing his lips to seal their marriage.
“I love you too, Jason Jackson,” Percy said, a slight tease to his tone. The name sounded perfect to Jason. Jason had wanted so long to lose his past and to have no ties to it. Now he had officially tied himself to Percy. They didn’t need a big ceremony or a blessing from the gods. They just needed each other. They just needed love.
The two stood there for a moment, just staring at each other. They had done it. They had actually done it. They were married and would be perfectly happy together.
They soon made the walk back to camp where everyone was already getting ready for breakfast. They didn’t even think twice about their next move. They held each other's hand and both sat at the Poseidon table. Everyone else instantly took notice. Not because of the couple everyone had been gossiping about since last year. But because of what happened as soon as Jason sat at the Poseidon table.
A green trident floated over his head.
Jason and Percy both stared up at the symbol, eyes wide. Neither of them had planned this. As far as Percy had known, Poseidon was just as clueless as everyone else was supposed to be. Unfortunately for them, everyone else seemed to catch on to what happened.
“When the Hades did you two finally get married?!” Nico broke the silence as he stared daggers at the two as he sat at Apollo's table.
“Uh,” was all that could come from the two boys' mouths as they continued to stare at the disappearing symbol. This was definitely far from good but probably what the two boys had coming. Still, Percy planned to have a very serious talk with his father when whatever punishment the two were bound to get was over with.
“Well?” Nico asked, now standing as he stared at the two.
“Like, twenty minutes ago. If that,” Jason eventually answered. “It wasn’t a real marriage. Just us promising to love each other forever,”
“That is pretty much a real wedding,” Annabeth cut in, also glaring at them. “Why didn’t you tell anyone? How did you both hide it from me?!”
The two newlyweds were once again at a loss for words. Everyone seemed to be staring at the two with a mixture of confusion and anger. After all, how could they dare to hide such good news from them?
“We just didn’t want the gods to know. We were going to tell everyone,” Percy said. “We just wanted to enjoy today but we would’ve told everyone once we figured out how to not have to deal with Hera,”
“Okay fair, but still, very rude,” Nico said, summoning his sword from the shadows. “I’ll speak with you both after breakfast.”
Thus began the most intense breakfast ever. The children of the big three, all seemed to race each other to finish first. The second Nico had though, Percy and Jason didn’t try to finish, instead taking off to not be screamed at by their friend who would no doubt quickly learn of their oath.
“When we tell your mom, and like, actually get killed for this, promise to remember me like I was at our wedding,” Jason said, panting slightly as the two ran, trying their best to avoid shadows.
“Ditto,” Percy said. “At least with Nico he gets bored, my mom will especially kill us when she finds out we made oaths on the Styx,”
“You what?!” Nico yelled, closing in on the both of them.
“Well I suppose the end is coming far sooner than I had hoped,” Jason said, taking Percys' hand and pulling him toward the lake. “Let's see just how dead we are,” He said, dragging his husband into the cold water where Nico didn’t dare to go.
“What happened to you hating the water?” Percy teased.
“Can’t hate anything you belong to,” Jason said, pulling Percy into a sweet and gentle kiss that nearly took Percy's breath away.
“Gods I love you,” Percy whispered before dragging his boyfriend underwater.
And that was how the two spent the first day of their honeymoon. Hiding under the lake water at camp and simply enjoying each other. Jason could actually manage to breathe under the water, a fact that made Percy very happy since they really could just spend all day under it.
Unfortunately for them, they weren’t immune from the cold and both spent the rest of the week with terrible colds and the annoyance of all of camp, and the anger of Percy’s mom.
Still, it was a day they’d never forget and one they both cherished forever. Besides, at least being sick meant talking of the future and trying to outsmart the gods even more. It may not have gone exactly to plan, but no one could stop their love.

A Godly Dinner
Hello! This story was written for @ashilrak Percy Jackson Winter Solstice 2022 Gift Exchange. If you’d like to read it on AO3 here is the link. This was once again such a fun exchange and I truly look forward to all others this wonderful person hosts. Enjoy!!
Summary: What was supposed to be a relaxing boyfriend day quickly turned upside down when Apollo, Jason, and Percy were invited to Olympus for a family dinner by none other than the queen of the gods herself.
Word Count: 2598
A god dating a mortal was nothing surprising or new. Sure, most tended to avoid relationships with demigods, but even that wasn’t very surprising. The surprising part of this relationship was that it was so much more. It was the Greek god Apollo, the demigod child of Poseidon, and the demigod child of Jupiter who also held the pressure of being Junos' champion. To top it all off, Apollo was very secretive about their relationship and had even stopped having his usual multiple mortal lovers. The secret part was mostly to keep Percy and Jason from having targets painted on their backs. Apollo had enemies, and he wasn’t about to let those enemies use his boyfriends.
Now, if you asked any of them, they’d all have a different story of how they started dating.
Percy was quite adamant about the fact he and Jason had been dating when they’d both caught sight on Apollo, and mutually agreed to see what would happen if they asked the god to date them both.
Jason, on the other hand, had been unaware of his and Percy's supposed relationship. He had always been very blind when it came to his love life, and he and Percy were always very hands-on in their affection for each other. Then he wouldn’ve sworn Apollo asked them both out, and they all ended up dating each other overnight.
Apollo, however, insisted that they all started dating after what was supposed to be a joking round of seven minutes in heaven.
They supposed the truth was mixed somewhere, but that didn’t matter now. What mattered now was that they were very happy together. They took their relationship a day at a time. Percy and Jason lived together in New York City, and Apollo visited them every day and spent the night on multiple occasions. It was as perfect as any relationship could be.
Sure, they had their fights. Mostly over Jason’s job that had him constantly needing to go to New Rome. Sure Apollo could easily go visit Jason, but Percy was a teacher at a mortal school. He couldn’t exactly just take time off. But they still made it work. Their motto had practically become “talk and figure it out”.
The day had started off normal enough. Apollo had spent the night then they went out for breakfast as Percy hadn’t felt like cooking. They had just got home when Hermes knocked on the door and gave Percy a golden envelope before quickly running off. Percy could’ve sworn the god looked terrified and like he was in on the funniest joke. Apollo instantly knew the letter was from Hera, but was unsure why she’d be sending Percy and Jason a letter.
“To my dear heroes and Apollo,
I invite you all to a lovely dinner on Olympus hosted by myself and Zeus tonight. I do expect you all to be in attendance. Be here by six.
With love for Jason and tolerance for Percy and Apollo,
Hera,
Queen of Olympus and goddess of women, marriage, and childbirth.”
“We could just not go,” Percys’ voice cut through the awkward silence in the apartment as they all stared at the messily opened golden envelope sitting innocuously on the kitchen table. He leaned against his sword, which he’d used to open the envelope.
“We can’t just deny Hera and Zeus when they request us for dinner,” Apollo said, not daring to take his eyes off the envelope. “Man, I really thought we were doing well keeping us a secret,” He complained lightly.
“Kinda hard to stay a secret when you and the muses show up singing about how much you love us,” Jason pointed as he picked up the envelope and threw it away. “It’s a dinner with Jupiter and Juno. How hard can it be?” he asked.
“Ah yes. A dinner with our dad and his wife. A man who cares about himself and his lovers more than anything, and a woman who isn’t above murdering children because they're her husbands' bastards,” Apollo joked. “I’m sure it’ll all go just perfectly,” he added sarcastically.
“It’s a dinner. It’ll be over in a couple of hours. You two are just being dramatic,” Jason retorted. “Now, I have some work to get done. So if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be in my office,” he finished, kissing Apollo and Percys' cheeks before going back to his office, where he kept himself locked away most of the days in order to focus on his job as Pontifex Maximus for all of New Rome. It was a difficult job but Jason loved it.
Percy and Apollo locked eyes with each other when Jason left.
“We starting drama?” Percy asked, smirking ever so slightly.
“We probably shouldn’t this time,” Apollo said. “This will be Jasons' first dinner with his father after all,” he pointed out, to which Percy sighed.
“Fair point,” the demigod mumbled. “Alright, I’ll play nice, but if they say anything rude I make no promises for what my tongue might do.”
“Oh don’t say that. I’d be awfully sad if you lost that tongue of yours,” the god teased, smirking playfully.
“You’regross,” Percy said, though they both knew he was lying. “Might as well watch some tv. We can drag Jason out to join us later,” he said, smiling slightly as he put the cap back on riptide and put the pen safely into his pocket.
“Deal,” Apollo said, and he easily picked the demigod up and carried him to the living room to continue there show.
The next few hours passed quietly. It was a laid-back and easy type of day already, so even with the unexpected invite, well it was easy enough to ignore. Jason even ended up finishing his work day early just to be able to relax and cuddle with his boyfriends.
Unfortunately, they were soon getting ready and Apollo was driving them to the Empire State building. It was easy enough to get in considering Apollo had the key card that immediately gave them the button to Olympus.
None of them were sure what to expect. Apollo had a vague idea from what he had seen and heard from Hera’s other children getting into relationships. He knew this all mostly because of Jason. Even if Apollo wasn’t in the picture, there was no way Hera was happy that Jason was dating Percy.
“So…is it going to be Hera or Juno?” Jason asked as they listened to the boring elevator music that made Apollo want to rip the speakers out.
“Both.” Apollo said. “It’s complicated. There’s no real difference anymore so imagine Hera, but more…ready to rip our guts out,” he said awkwardly as he fiddled with the edge of his leather jacket. “Just call her whatever you want. I doubt she’ll care.”
“I call her my lady anyway; I’m not risking getting thrown off Olympus by calling her by her name.” Jason said.
“Yeah, well I make no promises not to yell at her if she says anything.” Percy said, leaning against the wall of the elevator.
“Just don’t start any fights,” Jason warned, to which Percy only nodded.
When they got off, a few nymphs led them to what was considered the family dining hall but still seem ridiculously grand.l and showed them to their seats. Zeus and Hera walked in barely a few minutes later. Zeus was dressed in his typical suit, and Hera was in a lovely black satin dress and fur coat. It easily outdid the two boys and the god considering they had just shown up in jeans and nice shirts.
“Ah, there’s my champion!” Hera said happily, sitting down across from them. Zues sat at her side, frowning. “How are you?”
“I’m well, my lady.” Jason answered promptly and politely. “Thank you for inviting us. It is quite the honor.” “Yes, it is,” Hera said.
An air of seemingly awkward silence filled the area as their drinks and salads were served, wine for the gods and water for the mortals. Unfortunately, Percy bit the bullet and broke the silence.
“Why did you want us here?”
Heras’ eyes shot up, glaring at the son of Poseidon as if he had just given her the biggest insult in the world.
“Must you be like your father and speak when you are clearly not supposed to?” she demanded.
“Must you be—” Percy was cut off by both Jason and Apollo putting a hand on his mouth and glaring at him in warning. Hera smirked at him with a hint of evil in her eyes, clearly having expected this kind of reaction from Percy.
“If you really must know, I wanted to ensure this relationship was good enough for Jason,” Hera explained. “Apollo, you must know why. You may have the gift of prophecy on your side, but if you really think you can buy two engagement rings without me knowing well, then you truly are your father's son,” she said, ignoring the look Zeus gave her for the not so subtle  jab.
Apollo seemed to fumble for his words when Hera brought up the rings , ignoring the looks Jason and Percy sent his way. Apollo eventually just shut his mouth with a snap, and looked back at the two demigods.
“Engagement rings?” Jason asked, raising an eyebrow with clear confusion. They hadn’t really been dating very long, and marriage was something they had very really discussed. Apollo simply shrugged.
“We’ll discuss it later.” Percy decided, not about to get into it now.
“Agreed,” Jason said. “But if that’s all this dinner is about, then I can cut it short. I’m very happy with them, my lady. I understand it may seem weird, and is not what either of us expected for me, but this is what I want.”
“How?” Hera demanded immediately. She looked almost annoyed. “How can you be happy with someone who is supposed to be your enemy and is your total opposite, and a god who can barely keep it in his pants long enough for one lover to have their child before he creates another?!”
“Because we talk,” Jason explained patiently. “We talk and they look deeper than just who I am. I’m not your champion to them. I’m not Jupiter's son. I’m not the hero of Rome or Pontifex Maximus. I’m Jason,” he said, his voice firm. “And if you think I’m about to end that just because you’re unhappy I’m not with Piper or whoever you wanted, well then we’ll just leave.”
Hera stared him down. She kept her emotions and thoughts completely hidden now, something that could even make Zeus nervous at times. But Percy and Apollo didn’t seem to notice. They both looked at Jason with nothing but pure love, and Percy carefully held Jason's hand under the table.
“You have my approval though, as you said, you don’t need it.” Hera said, making everyone look at her in shock. “This will not be an easy relationship. You will all have to make sacrifices and should things continue down this path, it will only end in heartbreak. But so long as you are happy Jason, I will do what I can to help. In any way you desire,” she said softly while smiling slightly.
Everyone seemed very confused, but no one dared to speak. They ate their dinner and soon enough were on their way back to their apartment. Apollo had offered to just let them stay at his place for the evening but both mortals just wished to get off Olympus and far away from all the gods. The ride back was silent. Apollo even kept the radio of. It wasn’t awkward though. It was a comfortable silence that could make anyone feel relaxed.
When they got back however they all knew they needed to talk, and Apollo was the first one to speak.
“I wasn’t going to propose,” he began, looking at the dark wood on the apartment floor. “They’re promise rings. My promise to you is that I’m serious about you both. I’m not blind. I know you two worry about me. About my lovers. And I’m ready to end all of that if it means keeping you two.”
Percy and Jason were both silent for a moment, neither really sure if they should be upset about Apollo not considering proposing. Eventually, Percy found his voice.
“Jason and I already talked about that,” he said, carefully cupping Apollos' face and moving his head so the god had no choice but to look at him. “We know you love us, and we know you’d do anything for us. We also know you’re a god. You have a role bigger than either of us could ever dream of,” he said. Apollo just looked at them in confusion, not really sure where Percy was going with this.
“He’s saying keep your lovers,” Jason clarified gently. “We know we have you.”He smiled softly, moving to stand close to Percy.. “You need to have demigods. Gods forbid there’s another war. We need healers on all sides. We accept this part of you and while it’s certainly strange your son is dating our friend, we wouldn’t want you to change just for us.”
“And never open a sentence with ‘I wasn’t going to propose,” Percy added. “Or else I might just slap you,” he teased, making Apollo laugh ever so slightly.
“But we’re mortal.” Jason said, instantly bringing down the mood. “We’re both going to die one day. What’s your plan then?”
“We’ll figure that out later,” Apollo said, preferring to not think of the inevitability of his boyfriends dying.”I have you both now. And just like it’s not the right time to get engaged, it’s not the right time to worry about that. I don’t intend to let either of you die anytime soon.”
“And how exactly do you intend to do that?” Percy asked.
“I have an oracle on my side. I know exactly how this relationship will end.” Apollo reminded them with a smirk.
“Oh?” Percy and Jason asked in sync as they got more curious.
“Mind giving us an idea?” Jason asked.
“Hmm, well let us just say I can see us being very happy and even without my powers…there’s no way Hera is leaving us alone until we give her a grandchild.” Apollo said, making Percy chuckle.
“She better not start asking for a few more years. I very much want to enjoy having just you two,” Percy declared, gently pecking them both on the lips, one after the other.
“No promises. But I  promise to do what I can to make sure  she doesn’t kill you,.” Apollo said. “It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve attempted to overthrow Zeus,” he added with a playful smile.
“Not funny,” Jason and Percy said in sync.
“As funny as Lester was, I do much more prefer my boyfriend not talk to an arrow,” Percy teased.
“Or sing show tunes with it,” Jason teased.
“Or argue with—” Percy was cut off by Apollo pulling him into a fairly passionate kiss.
“I won’t do anything stupid. Promise,” the god said when he pulled off Percys' lips.
“Good,” the demigods declared in unison, wrapping their arms around the god.
The evening continued on just as lovely. It was like they could finally relax. They had each other, and that was what mattered. Not Hera's or anyone's approval. They had been dealt fairly unfair hands but they had all crawled their way through and loved each other more than anything. They could make it through anything, together.
