Request - Based on the headcanon of Hope Mikaelson x male!reader headcanon where his a full on tribrid and is part of the Legends (DC's Legends of Tomorrow). Imagine Hope meets Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon (takes place before she meets y/n).

Sara Lance x daughter reader

POV: The legends have a mission and Charlie has to save the day, but gets hurt while doing that. It’s 2018.

Warnings ⚠️: blood, weapons, swearing

“Mom I can handle myself.” Charlie said walking behind her mother. “We talked about this now too often. You’re a kid, my kid and I said no.” Sara said not even turning around. “I am 17 years old, Mom. I’m not Child anymore.” She said. They now arrived at the bridge. “Physically yes. Do I have to remind you that you’re born 2007, that makes you 10.” Sara said.

Oliver and Sara went onto the Queens Gambit to hide the pregnancy from everyone. Sara gave birth to her on the ship of the bad guys. When she “died” a second time, Oliver was left with Charlie on the island. Then she got sick and Oliver panicked so he gave her the Mirakuru. Which lead her to the grow to a 8 year old girl in 2008. Now in 2018 she still looks like 17, but is 11 years old. With the Mirakuru she got strong and clever, Nate likes to call her ‘Big Brain’.

“Oh really you play that card, again? But isn’t the Mirakuru an argument for me going to a mission? I’m stronger and harder to kill.” she said annoyed. “That makes not a better case for you. You are not going onto mission. Unterstand?” Sara said starting to point with her finger. Before Charlie could answer Gideon interrupts. “Captain Lance, there is an anachronism.” she announces. “Gather the team. This conversation is not over” Sara said walking to the round board in the middle.

It didn’t take long until everyone was gathered around. “What to we got?” Ray asked standing next to Sara. “There has been a Zombie attack in 1973.” Gideon explained. “Okay, Zari you stay here. Everyone else suit up, we have mission.” Sara said. Charlie sits in the background on one of the chairs. She was really pissed at her mom, pissed that she still treats her like a child even tough she’s been through more then most grown ups. She made her way to her room while Zari moves the Waverider to the right time and place. After Zari did her job and legends are just observing, she made her way to Charlie. She knocks on the door.

“Can I come in?” she asked and door opens. “You do know she just wants to protect you?” She said sitting down on her desk chair. “Since when do you agree with her?” Charlie said looking up to her. “Since I know that you should worship every minute you have with your family.” Zari said. “She lost so much. She doesn’t want to lose you too.” she said. “I know, but I’m not a kid and I’ve been through worse stuff.” she said groaning. “She would understand if you finally explain what happened to you on the island when you were alone.” Zari said. Charlie just looked at her. Zari and Felicity are the only people on earth knowing what happened in that one and a half year where Charlie was alone on the island. “I can’t. I’m not telling her to protect her.” Charlie said. “But don’t you think she will feel betrayed when you tell her?” Zari said looking at her. There is a silence after that. Suddenly Charlie jumps up. “Betray! Zari you’re a genius!“ she said running to the bridge.

Zari took after her. “Why am I a genius?” she asked when they arrived. “Well I asked myself. How the hell did freaking zombies get into 1973?” Charlie explaining while typing something. “And why did they target a small supermarket, instead of the peace event right next to it?” Charlie said. “Right! Normally they would target the place with the most people.” Zari said. “But what if someone wanted them there, to lure the legends there. Someone who felt betrayed and wants revenge but still has a heart not to hurt hundred of people.” she kept going. “Someone like Jane Bloom.” Charlie said letting the image show on the screen. “Ex-Worker at the Bureau. But got fired after she had something against us.” Charlie said. “So she is angry.” Zari said and Charlie just nods. “Sara we’ve got some news.” Zari said, but there was no answer. Zari and Charlie just looked at each other. “Coms are down.” Charlie said. She types something more. “Fuck.” she said running towards the entrance. “Charlie? Where are you going?” Zari asked running after her. “To them. She is especially pissed at mom. She wants her dead. We can’t warn them. So I go there and warn them.” She said taking her arrows and bow. “Ok but I come with you.” Zari said. “No you stay here be my eyes and ears. We go on my private channel so she can’t stop that to. My mom is not going to die today!” Charlie walking out.

Charlie made her way through the city. Now and then she found a zombie on her way and killed it with a perfect shot arrow in the head. When she arrived at the scene she stayed in the background watching the Legends fight the zombies. “Zari you there?” Charlie whispered. “Yeah Baby Lance. You see here?” Zari asked through the coms. “Not yet.” Charlie said still watching everyone closely. Then she sees Sara being busy fighting a zombie and Jane coming from behind with a sword like weapon. Without thinking twice Charlie jumped between the two. The sword stabbing through her stomach. She fell to the ground. By now Sara noticed and knocked Jane out. After that she immediately runs to Charlie. “Charlie! Oh god.” Sara exclaimed while laying Charlies head on her lap. Ray already trying to stop the bleeding. “Why did you that?” Sara said stroking her hair. “It couldn’t be you.” Charlie just said slowly closing her eyes. “Charlie! Baby stay with me. Open your eyes come on.” were the last words she heard.

Sara run to the waverider. Her dying daughter in her arms. When she walked in Zari run by. “What happened?” she said after seeing Charlie. No one answers, all to focused on her. Sara makes her way to the medby. “Gideon! Tell me what going on.” Sara yelled placing her daughter on the chair and putting the bracelet on her wrist. “It seems like the sword was able to hurt organs of Ms. Lance. If I am able to repair that, I have to put her into a coma.” Gideon explained. “Chance of survival?” Sara asked even though she doesn’t want to her the answer. “15%, Captain Lance”. Sara didn’t know how the act or respond. She goes and takes Charlies hand. “Come back to me Sweetheart.” Sara says while pushing hair out of her daughters face. “She is strong, Sara” Nate says standing behind her. “Can you call Oliver and Felicity? Tell them what happened.” she said not looking at him. Nate walked away and does as he is told.

Gideon was able to repair the organs of Charlie but had to put her into a coma. And like she said, the chance that Charlie wakes up is low. Hours turned into Days and days into weeks.

For 4 weeks Charlie was now in the coma. They changed the chair in the medbay into a hospital bed, also big enough so Sara can stay the nights there. Oliver and Felicity came and visit. Right now Sara was sitting on a chair next to Charlie watching her closely. At the same time the team sits at bridge. Everyone was still down and it’s like with Charlie the good spirit of the ship went into a coma. “It’s weird seeing Sara like that.” Zari exclaimed. “Well she usually doesn’t show emotions to often, but when it comes to Charlie she is always softer.” Ray said sitting down. Suddenly there was a ring and Ava Sharpe tried calling via video. “We can’t press her away forever.” Nate said standing up and accepting the call. “Mr. Heywood. I would like to talk to your captain.” she said without a hint of emotions. “I’m sorry, but Captain Lance is not available at the moment.” Ray says now standing next to his best friend. “You have been reclining my calls for week and stop working. It’s time to start working again.” she said. “We have our reasons and they are non of your business.” Zari said this time. “Is it because of Ms. Lance?” She asked and everyone looked surprised. “I know everything. And it has to be said. She is just another human being. Let it go and get your asses up and work. Now I would like to talk to your captain.” she said. This time Mick stands up. “If you talk one more word about Charlie I will burn down your whole office.” he growls and hangs up the call. Everybody looks at Mick, confused on how protective he got. In the medbay Sara fell asleep in the chair next to Charlie.

Pain is the first thing that Charlie feels when she opens her eyes. Her hands go immediately to her stomach where no longer a sword was in, but a bandage wrapped around. She looks around and realises she is in the medbay, she also sees her mother next to her. “Ms. Lance. It’s is good to see you’re awake.” Gideon says. Because of the noice Sara jolts up thinking something bad is happening. “Careful we don’t want you to fall.” Sara turns around from where the voice came from and sees her daughter awake in the bed. Sara hugs her immediately holding her like she is going to lose her any moment. “How are you feeling?” She asked looking at her. “Good. Well, this hurts like a b***h.” Charlie points at her stomach. Everyone was relieved to see her awake. Her dad also came to visit.

Over the next few days it came out that she only survived because of the Mirakuru in her blood. Recovery was still hard but she had the Legends and her mom by her side always.

Right now she was laying on her own bed watching a movie. There was a knock on her door, with a press of button the door opens and her mom stands there with a plate of food. “Thanks but I’m not hungry.” she says and looks back at the TV. “But you haven’t ate your breakfast or lunch. You gotta eat something, baby.” Sara said placing the plate on the nightstand and runs her hand through Charlies hair. She sits down on the desk chair, next to the bed. It had been standing there since Charlie slept in her own bed again and Sara was there until she fell asleep. Sara takes the remote and pauses the movie. “Hey! I was watching that.” Charlie says looking at her mother. “We have to finish our conversation.” Sara said looking at her with a face Charlie couldn’t interpret. “No we don’t. I understood what you had to say and I won’t bother you again.” she said taking the plate starting to eat trying to get out of the conversation. “You didn’t bother. While you were in that coma I had a lot of time to think. About everything. You’re not a child anymore and you’re more clever than me for sure. You proved that. Connecting the dots between Jane and the attack. It was brilliant. So I decided to let you come onto missions. Little ones in the beginning” Sara said. Charlie smiled and jumped up hugging her. It was not the most clever decision given her wound. “Careful we don’t want you to tear your stitches again.” Sara said but with a smile on her face. She helps Charlie sitting down again. “And don’t forget small ones. I choose, no complaints.” Charlie just nods on that comment. Sara laid down with her daughter and the movie continued. Sara didn’t plan on staying the night in Charlies room but she fell asleep on her chest and Sara didn’t want to wake her up. After Charlie healed completely she went on her first official mission and solved it like a real legend.

Clotho x Enchantress forever. Like sure, Charlie, shame another shapeshifting deity for having a thing for fucking artsy humans.

The Birthday Disaster

Christmas was probably one of Ava’s favorite times of the year. She wasn’t sure why, but it made her so happy to see the whole team get excited about decorating the galley. Even Zari, who technically didn’t celebrate Christmas even got in on the spirit, and everyone always made sure to put out halal foods for her so she could be included. For Ava, the closeness was probably the best part of it. Growing up, she had never really become close to people in her life, unless you count her mother and father. It wasn’t until she met the Legends that she had realized what being close to people meant, especially when it came to all of the shenanigans that they all ensued this time of year. From ugly sweater contests to see who could drink the most eggnog before they noticed Mick had spiked it, Ava had never felt like she had belonged. But now, she had a group where she did belong and celebrate the things that made her happy.

She was helping Nate hang some string lights in the galley when she happened to overhear Zari and Amaya talking as they walked in to get a drink. She didn’t mean to eavesdrop, but she heard Sara’s name and was automatically intrigued. Sure, they hadn’t put a label on what they had become yet, but something told her this was something she and Sara had to do for themselves – something she knew the blonde assassin would probably be annoyed with but would smile through it nonetheless.

“Nate,” Ava started, “What does Sara like?”

“Huh?”

“Like, candies, chocolates, that kinda stuff.”

“Oh.” He paused. “Well she likes gummy worms, some sort of chocolate covered espresso bean shit… never understood why, if I’m being honest. Oh, she likes Pixie Sticks too.”

“Sweet, thanks Nate.” Ava patted him on the shoulder and scurried down the ladder she was standing on, practically running out of the door.

“You’re welcome?”

Everything was going to plan. Ava had told Sara to come to their room on the Waverider after dinner so they could hang out, just the two of them. Smoothing out yet another invisible wrinkle, Ava sat herself down cross legged on the bed and placed the box she had got Sara in front of her, filled to the brim with her favorite candies and topped off with a bow. The only wrapping paper she could find was an obnoxious hot pink paper covered in unicorns, which clashed horribly with the lime green bow she had found shoved in the depths of Zari’s closet. Either way, the sentiment was there, and she knew that Sara would get a kick out of it either way. She nervously tucked some hair behind her ear, swallowing the lump that was in her throat. She could get through this. She could make her surprise work. It had to work. She didn’t put three hours of planning into what outfit she was going to wear today for nothing. A small jump overtook her body as the door to their bedroom opened, Sara walking in with a sly smile on her face.

“What’s this?”

“Well, I overheard it was your birthday tomorrow and I wanted to do something special, just the two of us. Since we have things planned with the team tomorrow, and… I- yeah.”

“Aves, you didn’t have to.”

“But I wanted to.”

Ava held out a hand and took one of Sara’s in her own as she sat down on the bed, lightly nudging the box towards her. Sara raised an eyebrow and took it, hints of a smile forming on her lips as she saw the wrapping paper. Ava hid behind her hands as she heard the paper rip, trying to hide her blush as Sara opened the box. Various candies and small baggies with the chocolate covered espresso beans were scattered throughout crinkle paper (or “Easter egg grass!” as Gary liked to call it) and small bite size pieces of chocolate were scattered in as well. A pack of Pixie Sticks was sitting in the bottom as well, and a small handwritten note was taped to the lid of the box. Sara carefully took the note off of the lid and opened it, smirking as Ava watched her read it through her fingers.

“Babe, this is - wow. Thank you.”

“You like it?”

“Like it? Aves this is one of the best gifts I’ve ever received.” Sara put the note down on her bedside table and crawled across the bed to Ava, placing herself on her lap. “But there’s one gift I’d love the most.”

“And what would that be?”

“Well,” Sara took the bow from her present and looped it around Ava’s neck, slowly pulling the blonde closer. “It starts with an A, is five foot nine, and hopefully is wearing something sexy under that robe.”

A small scoff fell from Ava’s lips as she wrapped her arms around Sara’s midsection, pulling the smaller blonde as close as she physically could muster. The two of them became a tangle of limbs as she pushed Sara back so they were laying down, the box of treats forgotten as it fell to the floor. Ava’s robe was practically ripped off of her as they continued to kiss, the robe being long forgotten as Sara threw it somewhere in the room. Fingers trailed over porcelain skin as Ava made her way down Sara’s jawline, using her free hand to push some hair out of the way as she came closer to her neck. Ava’s hands came to rest on Sara’s hips as she waited for Sara to shimmy out of her shirt. Once the shirt was discarded, Ava resumed her trail of kisses, stopping to put a singular kiss on each breast. She slowly continued down Sara’s body, taking the time to kiss each and every one of Sara’s visible scars, and even trace over the small tattoo she got of a black canary -- Ava guessed it was to symbolize her sister. Sara started squirming under her touch and Ava let her tongue slip out in between her lips, making her trail down her body painfully slower than it was. When she finally got to where she wanted to be, Ava slowly ran her hands up and down Sara’s thigh, waiting for the assassin to give her the go-ahead. When Sara practically started pleading with her, Ava inched her way towards the hem of Sara’s undies, pulling them down her legs. She could practically feel the heat radiating off of her, and smiled as she pushed hair out of her face, making her way down.

Sara felt the fireworks in her body as Ava finally got where she needed her to be, her back arching as lips and tongue danced across her skin. Sara let her hands get tangled in Ava’s long locks, her face covered in expressions she had no idea existed until she met Ava. Toes started curling and Sara’s breaths got closer and closer together as Ava reached up and grabbed at Sara’s breast, pulling it out of the bralette she was wearing and playing with it. Sara started shaking in anticipation as she got closer and closer to climax, letting out a long moan as her back arched off of the bed, Ava’s hands sitting firmly on her hips in an effort to keep her in one place. Before she knew it, Ava was back up by her face and kissing her, causing Sara to wrap her arms around the blonde as she played with the hooks on Sara’s back, slipping the bralette off her tiny frame as they switched positions. Sara barely had time to register what was happening before she was on top of Ava, desperately trying to undo the corset that was tied around her midsection. Sara had seen Ava’s body many times before, but every time she was astonished at how perfect Ava truly was, inside and out. She finally got the corset untied and tossed it off to the side, pausing a moment to take her girlfriend in. She bent down to place a kiss on Ava’s lips, smiling into it as she did so.

“Hey, I heard you guys had chocolate and pixie sticks OH MY GOD!”

The door to their bedroom slid open to reveal Zari and Nora, both of them in the stupid matching Christmas pajamas Nate had convinced everyone to wear (“Come on you guys, it’ll be cute!”), except Zari was just in a plain white crew neck with a donut on it. Zari automatically went to cover her eyes as Sara fell off the bed, taking the sheets with her. Ava, in her frightened state, grabbed a pillow and shoved it in front of her body, hoping and praying to anyone out there that it was covering her whole body. Nora froze in her spot, the half eaten Hershey’s bar Ray had gotten her falling to the floor.

“I clearly stated that Ms. Lance and Ms. Sharpe were busy, Ms. Darhk.”

“Yeah I didn’t think you meant they were busy doing each other!”

Sara popped up from her spot on the floor, doing her best to wrap the sheet around her body as she glared daggers at Nora and Zari. “What about ‘knock on my door if you need me’ do you not understand, Darhk?”

“Well, in our defense, Nate told us you had candy.”

“And whipped cream.”

“But now I see what you guys were doing…”

“I don’t think I want to know where that whipped cream was going to end up.”

Ava huffed. “No, you really don’t.”

“Both of you, out!”

“I- yes captain.”

Zari pulled Nora away from the door, shooting Sara a small apologetic smile as the door shut. Sara and Ava sat in their spots, staring at each other for a few moments before Ava cleared her throat.

“Well that was a disaster.”

“I-yeah.”

“We really need to invest in locks.”

“I- yeah.”

“Aves, hey.” Sara crawled back onto the bed, pushing some hair out of Ava’s face. “No matter what those idiots did or will do, tonight was perfect. I-I haven’t really celebrated my birthday in a while so being able to at least do something that made it special makes it perfect in my book.”

“You really think so?”

“Yes. Anything you do for me is perfect, Ava. I mean it.”

“So you’re not mad that Nora and Zari both just walked in on us having sex?”

“Oh no, I’m fuming. Actually fuming. But like you’ve told me, I can’t let my anger get a hold of me over something we’re never going to speak about again.”

Ava chuckled. “I’m really rubbing off on you, huh?”

“You truly are, Ms. Sharpe.” Sara smiled, pecking her on the lips. “I hope you know that I know get the liberty to walk in on both of them while they’re having sex with their respected partners as payback, yeah?”

“I couldn’t stop you if I tried.”

My #1 post of 2022

It’s become pretty common in fandom spaces to discuss different portrayals of love but one thing that I keep thinking about from this latest Legends of Tomorrow episode is how amazing it was portraying different kinds of romantic love.

Of course we have Sara and Ava, who represent “old love” after being well established for several seasons and who solve problems as an old married couple would. Then there is Nate and Zari 1.0, who have also been together for awhile but are still figuring out the technicalities of a long term relationship. They’re out of the honeymoon period but just enough to be comfortable being apart for an extended amount of time, which allows those reunions to feel all the more special. Then we have Gideon x Gary and Behrad x Astra, both of which are very new couples but in completely different ways. The former decided to dive headfirst into their relationship, while the latter is taking the much slower route. Both are equally valid takes when writing budding romantic love. Whether you like any of these pairings or not, it’s wonderful to see a tv show as wild as Legends of Tomorrow understand how differently romance can take shape for different people.

I'm thinking of season 4 again and I have two questions. One, how do you think season 4 would've changed if Leonard was back from the dead? And two, how do you think Zari/Ray would've changed the Neron-Ray part of the season?

So part one of this is a very interesting question and it all depends on what you mean by "back from the dead?" Did he come back at some point during or at the end of Season 3? or Season 2? For the sake of answering I'm going to call it halfway and operate under the idea that he was found on Earth X during the crossover. So, he came in at an interesting time. The Time Bureau was in full swing and in addition to them the Legends are facing the Darhk's; who he knows Sara has some pretty serious history with. Plus he re-enters the team the same day in which Stein dies, and Jax leaves soon after. Amaya, Nate, and Zari are all new to him. So Season 3 was a lot of him (metaphorically) stumbling about this new team and trying to find his place. Anyway, onto Season 4. He would've more or less gotten his bearings as part of the team. He and Zari are good friends and work well together in a fight. They definitely had a moment after Here I Go Again. He and Sara decided to be more than friends in the Season 3 finale, so they're figuring that out. The introduction of magical creatures is really the final straw of resignation for him. Yep, this is his life, violent unicorns and fairy god-mothers. He doesn't trust Charlie, either. Overall I think the over-arching plot and events of Season 4 would've been largely the same with Snart in the picture, but things would've been more grounded, I guess. He would've been the voice of reason amongst all the ridiculousness and the magic.

I don't think Zari/Ray would've changed the Neron-Ray aspects of that part of the season, but obviously the Nate/Zari stuff that was happening at the same time would've gone down way different. So, in this version, Ray was never interested in Nora romantically. Instead, he was hellbent on saving her because of what happened when he and Zari tried saving her as a child and failed. He promised that little girl he would save her, and that is what he intends to do. Zari covers for/helps him and claims it's because they're friends. After he's possessed by Neron Zari throws all her focus into trying to save him, and Sara sends her and Nate on that mission for the golden egg as a means of getting her to focus on something else. When she and Nate are being held hostage she admits to Nate how terrified she is for Ray. She tells him about on her first mission with the Legends, the one that had them in Ray's childhood, and how she didn't like seeing their Ray's morals being shaken by what was happening. Now that he's been possessed by Neron that feeling is back and 10x worse. Losing him to darkness is a thought she can't bear. And after everything with Nora... She was on that mission to the asylum too. But Ray was the one who never gave up trying to save Nora. Ray deserves to have someone fight for him the way he fights for everyone else.
