I know what you're thinking. It's been four grueling days since the last post about some kind of fictional cube. Don't worry! Cube delivery right here! Even the most humble of gray blocks is a beautiful and valuable thing. Far too valuable for some schmuck like ME to touch with my oily, mortal, mammal skin. Only the divine can be trusted with delivering this block!
This gray block is the ground for our feathered friend Pyoro! He needs to eat those Beans, and if he can't stand on a solid surface while doing so... well, I can't stand to imagine such a calamity! The beans are ruthless. Just a single gently drifting bean can obliterate a poor block, making a gap Pyoro cannot cross, restricting his movement! What Bad Beans!
But even among Bad Beans, there are some Blessed Beans! When this funny bird eats the right bean, something happens. The heavens are notified. God must intervene. Even if He may have been watching over the entire universe, He knows something dire has happened in one small area. He can't let the beans prevail. He must send His angels!
That's what Tenshi means! It means Angel. This is one of those funny situations where an entity's name is just a regular word in Japanese, but it has never technically been referred to in English, so we gotta just accept the Japanese name as official until further notice. They come bearing gray cubes from above for Pyoro to scuttle atop! Anything to let him eat some more beans! It's a very important matter!
In WarioWare Gold's remake of Pyoro, as well as Super Pyoro, the Blocks have received a makeover! Please let me know if you were a Gray Block Enthusiast who is miffed about them now being made of real dirt and grass and looking kinda Minecrafty! I feel neutral to good about the change, though. It's a handsome block. Maybe it can be argued that it lessens the strange ambiguity of Pyoro's whole situation for the blocks to be more "realistic". But if that is a concern to you, then maybe you should think about other things. Sorry. Look, Tenshi now has a halo in game! Yay.
Super Pyoro introduces a few new mechanics to the classic gameplay, including a new Hidden Bonus Area in space! Here, beans abound on conveyor belts, being put there by food service Tenshi wearing little uniforms! Retail workers are the real angels!
To get to this stage, you must allow a beanstalk to grow by letting a bean fall through a hole in the ground... will you sacrifice one of our beloved Blocks to let this happen? Is it worth it? Does the presence of unique Cloud Blocks in the bonus area make up for it? It is up to you! And up to Anubis when he inevitably weighs your heart someday! I hope you made the right decision!
Tenshi is a very Ko Takeuchi character design, by which I mean it is one of those very simple Little White Guys he is always drawing. All the time! Rhythm Heaven is full of them, not nearly limited to just the Chorus Kids, and WarioWare gets its fair share of them, too! What can I say! The man just loves to draw Little White Guys!

halo halo this might be out of blue but may i ask how’d you fall in love w Baxter? I wanna hear the story of like how you started to like him if you don’t mind sharing . tysm!!and i love all your artworks!!!!
AGHHHHHHH i was about to go to sleep but healty schedules are overrated. Take a sit cuz this is gonna be LONG bc i dont know how to get to the point (jump right to the end to get the 3 lines resume lmao)
if you ask me why i like right now: he's a dramatic loser. But that was when i finally understood his character! you wouldn't be surprised if tell you that i'm an idiot right? i'm super slow to read between lines and understand people, that applies to fictional characters too lmao (+add that english isn't my first language) So! at first i didn't actually understood what was going on with -well- anything :D.
Took me a few playthroughs to actually understand the game in general, i started to play before step 4 was out so all i could do was play and replay different ways to fall in love with Cove (starting to crush at step3 was my fav) but tbh he was never my *type*, Derek was interesting but just bc he like us by default. Even after playing his dlc i felt like he was just a really good friend (which was kinda weird bc to this point i've just played his romantic route). So, what's different with Baxter?
To begin with! he's... he's....... huhh my first impression wasn't actually strong tbh, i was like "huh new guy to date yay". I didn't actually understood his character the first few playthroughs ngl. I started in fond ofc to get into the dlc but *I* was pretty indifferent, probably in Drinks where we finally see Morning Baxter was that i said "oh shit he's cute" and cuteness+gapmoe is enough to make me fall for any character tbh.
But! that was not enough to provoke a brainrot like this right? i'm the "Oh i love this *forgets about in a week*" type. What sealed the deal (badum tss) was probably bc of the fandom? Once i was done replaying the dlc 5 times in a row i went straight to tumblr to feed of headcanons, fanarts and fanfics. My favorite way to understand a character is thru the fandom tbh, my favs are the long aa essays talking about a character personality.
Long story short, he was dramatic troubled flirty gap-moe guy (my fictional type, coincidentally) with an excellent storyline. I still wasn't 100% into him but he was top1 romatic choice for me (sorry Cove and Derek, love ya but platonically), so i made 2 fanarts for his dlc in may and let the hype die... only for 6 months otherwise we wouldn't be here, would we?
AH-HA-HEM the day 28th of november, beginnings of summer, i went out in the morning to do some errands with my mom, we stopped to buy vegetables in our way home and she bought a small watermelon bc i love them. That same afternoon i was eating it and thought "watermelons are finally here, summer it's officially here!" and got struck with Olba memories like a sleeper agent. (made a minicomic abt that, that's why i have the exact date lol) SO i replayed the game again, reading everything again, and oh boy i finally understood so many things, one of those things was Baxter himself!
A lot of stuff made sense once i actually took the time to comprehend his character with the information i gained out of the game (mainly all the asks ppl sent to gb). Add the way that i always played like *me* on my first playthroughs of anything and then you'll notice why he hit me so hard, it felt like i wasn't giving him enough credit before dasjkfas.
Tbh his dlc is my fav bc it has such a strong storyline, you get to know him and his insecurities thru all step 3, and have a lot of sweet moments too! (and that night goodbye?? omg it hits me so hard bc it's right after the ending song) and because step 4 it's right after you go with all the fresh memories of your summer together and seeing him so cold towards you it's so painful but also so funny because HA I CAN SEE THRU YOUR FACADE YOU STILL LIKE ME HAHAHA and i finally knew the perfect word for him: loser.
Anyways i also did a deep dive in the Olba and Baxter Ward tag here in tumblr and eat pretty much everything, also helped me to get a better grasp for all the little details i didn't noticed before bc haha i told you im an idiot?
sO yeah i made a few drawings of my Mc interacting with the characters, surprisingly it got a lot of attention from the fandom so i made a few more and when i noticed i was deep into the brainrot and i wasn't able to draw anything besides my Ruri and Baxter being cute lmao
Funfact. Ruri is a variation of Rui (duh) that i used in games when i didn't feel like i wanted to be called my name directly, now that she expropriated me of that name i use Ruru, i'm so creative right?
Long story short: it was mix of the game itself, fandom content and people actually liking my oc content. The fandom is super welcoming with everyone's oc's i love that akjdlfhask

My friend is running a text-based rpg campaign, and I'm absolutely in love with it, so I decided to draw a 'cover' for each day in the story. We'll see if I can do one for each day, but I'm SO proud of how these turned out so far - all of them are inked in my notebook first, and then coloured digitally. If anyone's interested in the story, I've explained more about it all under the cut!
OKAY. So the game is called City of Mists, and basically it's...kinda hard to explain, but I'd call it 'cyberpunk noir', but with a 90s technological aesthetic. Kinda like when you read Issac Asimov's books and they're using computers but it's all cassettes and film-based technology. Anyway, it's awesome. Every character has a normal life in the city - their 'logos' - but there are some characters who are called Rifts, who have something mythological manifest within them - their 'mythos'. Now, the mythos can kinda be anything, but the point is that it's a legend or story that manifests within the character, and thus gives them new abilities. And every Rift has to balance their logos and their mythos - because to delve too much into your mythos means you forget your normal life and become entirely consumed by the mythos...but to focus too much on your logos means to lose, and forget, your mythos entirely. The 'mist' of the city obscures mythological and supernatural things from those who haven't 'awakened' yet - but Rifts can see through the mist.
So, my little guy is - sighs. Okay. Y'all are gonna laugh. Please be aware that I know, okay? I know. It's fine. This is a choice I've made. But he's called Nakis Sandhu, and he's an investigative journalist (NOT with amnesia) who, when he was a kid, was involved in a train accident that killed his parents, but him and his twin sister miraculously survived. He's trans, and he has a van - he doesn't live in it, thank goodness, but it is important because his mythos is Captain Nemo from 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas (this is why he looks like Sacha Dhawan, because like....Sacha Dhawan should play Captain Nemo and I'll die on that hill). And so Nakis, when his mythos awakened, turned his van into the Nautilus - Captain Nemo's submarine - and so it now works underwater too, and can travel undetected. He also becomes like, a technological genius and can invent stuff on the fly, but he never studied engineering or anything - it just comes to him in flashes of inspiration.
Nakis' main thing is that he's trying to figure out what happened in the train crash when he was a kid. He saw something different to everyone else, because he saw through the mist - what everyone else thought was an accident was actually two Rifts duking it out (I think). One of these Rifts was a blue bull that is apparently called 'the Bull of Thunder', and the other was a man with fire based abilities - called 'The Burning Man'. On Day 2, Nakis discovered a metal case that had belonged to the Burning Man, that had been hidden for twenty years - since the day of the accident - and was full of clues, including some photographic film that needed developing. Unfortunately, seems that there's a strange filter on the photos, so it's impossible to tell what's on them...luckily, my guy made friends with a photographer on Day 1 (who I believe is another player character) whilst investigating something else, and as a result he's now passed the film on to him, in the hopes that he'll be able to clear them up.
One funny thing: Day 0 was supposed to be a 'chill' day to figure out how the game mechanics worked, and figure out what your character would do on a normal day. Nakis immediately went to investigate something and then nearly ended up drowning RIP. On Day 1, when continuing to investigate the thing from Day 0, he...got shot in the shoulder HAHAHAH but he's fine, he's doing great, he didn't bleed out in his apartment which is always a win. He also bumped into another player character by doing this - so yay!

Favorite thing about them:
Oh man there's not much to talk about in canon outside of the oc I made from them. But I still think they're very cool!! I also find them felling affection for Ryuunosuke to be very sweet, they're the only character in the whole series together with Higuchi who's ever shown to genuinely care about him.
Least favorite thing about them:
How they weren't given a personality outside of “Akutagawa's sister”. Like, I love Gin, but being honest, it's more of loving the character I built pretty much from scratch for them in my mind, because canon literally never gave them a personality. Also, I don't like the voice actor choice for them… I don't know if I'm being conservative with this, but I find that kind of hyperfemininity they're depicted having sometimes (their high-pitched voice, the onsen scene in Wan) pretty stereotypical, that taste of “all tough girls deep down actually want to be delicate and femminine” from old medias I don't really vibe with.
Favorite line:
This one, because it's funny, and specifically because it's a non-verbal line. I like the idea of Gin using their sword more than they use their mouth.

Look, I'm weak for siblings dynamics. They're always my favourite thing. I don't remember ever having an hyperfixation that didn't include siblings dynamics. I love love love the Gin / Ryuunosuke relationship and could talk about them for days. ALSO the Black Lizard in general I've already talked about them here I care so much about them. I really like tachigin platonically too. And I like Gin's dynamics with Higuchi, I actually like them better platonically.
OTP:
I dig everything tachigin, I really like them and the “I'm not who I say I am but you know me better than myself even though you don't know my true identity” deal they have going on. I also like the idea of Gin and Naomi 👀👀👀 talkative gf x gf who's never said a word their whole life. Also my personal crack ship Gin × Paula ThePromisedNeverland

... I don't really dig higu/gin. Higu/gin friends, please forgive me. I just think that starting dating the person your brother has repeatedly abused would be super awkward, and I don't think I really like the idea of Higuchi basically dating Ryuunosuke's sister as rebound guy. Also it's just a thing with me and not being a fan of vanilla / sugar spice and everything nice wlw ships. I do acknowledge they have their fair share of scenes together and that they're perfect to be interpreted romantically!! The latest volume 23 omake especially, it can perfectly be taken as romantic. It's just not something that does it for me, and tbh I like them better with having a kind of sisters dynamics, with Higuchi being this kind of very exuberant and silly self-assigned older sister and Gin who just likes her and enjoys hanging out with her.
Random headcanon:
Oh boy, may I introduce you to my Gin brainrot. I really have so many ideas about them. Apart from what I've already mentioned, I really like the idea of them having selective mutism, especially as it's shown in Wan. I don't think they're someone to talk in general. The Akutagawas household must be death silent 24/7 lol.
Unpopular opinion:
I just wish people would give them more flaws. I'ver read my fair share of Gin fics, and in all of them they're always this kind of sassy / funny / witty / pretty / confident / charismatic / overall perfect person. As result, I find them quite boring to read, and they particularly pale in comparison to Ryuunosuke; especially since at least for me it's his flaws that make him such a compelling character. I wish we'd extend some of his flaws to Gin too. They're bad at communication and expressing their feelings. They're aggressive and pessimistic. Idk, anything that makes them a little more human.
Song i associate with them:
How To World Domination by Neru. Just the overall imaginary it evokes of two siblings close in age fighting together in a world that is both violent and war-ridden, and terribly domestic and mundane. The feeling of being lonely together. Them both fighting to become a better version of themselves, a kinder version of themselves, even, before my heart grows numb from the cold. This song really is one that always evokes the Akutagawa siblings in my mind whenever it comes on shuffle. Also, Re-education by Neru, for similar reasons.

WoW has been my obsession for several years now, and now I'm not so interested in the new additions, but I just love the old Warcraft before SL. Alliance? Horde? WHO NEEDS THEM WHEN THERE ARE THE FORSAKEN! I love them. And basically all the undead. Of the characters, I really love Jaina and Vanessa Vancleef. And also i'm biggest Sylvanas/Nathanos apologist. My favourite fucked up couple.
I LOVE MARIA SILENT HILL TWO I LIVE FOR HER I CRY OVER HER CHARACTER and I think her character is very underrated! Otherwise, I also really love Heather (I cosplayed her!), Lisa and Walter. I'm a fan of the "classics" of all 4 silent hill games. This rusty, old, tense, frightening, depressing, meaty horror is just what I've always been missing.
It’s worth saying briefly - I adore the entire universe of half-life and the portal. These are great games, I love everything about them. They changed me and my perception of video games a lot. My favorites of the series are Adrian Shepard and Alix. I'm a fan of HEKU in general, they're funny guys. Probably the only military characters in video games that don't make me uncomfortable.

1) Flourless chocolate cake, the perfect passover dessert it is probably my favorite type of cake mostly cause it doesn't sit in the stomach, hence the no eggs
2) Reuben sammich, you start with the high note of rye bread (the best kind of sammich bread) and you finish strong with the bright notes from the sauerkraut and corned beef (or pastrami if u lean that way) it's a perfect sandwich and I love it so much
3) Saag paneer, I love fucking SO many indian dishes I would be here all week if I tried to list them all so i picked this one cause i like spinach, I grew up in an area with a pretty large Punjabi population so this is a classic comfort food
4) Matzo ball soup, lord this is such a jew-y list, it's a classic for a reason! it's the ultimate Jewish comfort food!! last time I made it was for a friend with covid who is no longer my friend ;-;
5) Falafel, this I added just cause I'm craving it ngl, I made my own recently and it was fuckin amazing, with hummus is just 😋😋 I'd say tzatziki as well but my gf would skin me (affectionate) (my beloved ur vendetta against the Greeks is adorable and I love u so much)

3) Deacon, he's funny, he's lying 25/8, he will just walk around naked, he's my favorite fo4 companion and he's just fun to be around, I wish streamers would stop shooting him ples and thank u
4) X6-88, unfortunately losing points because of shitty racist writing but! he's one of my favorite characters cause x6 and chuuya have a lot in common with the whole "built to be a weapon, learning to be a human" thing, there's so much potential for unlearning cult brainwashing and such and I just love him so much lmao
5) Mobei-jun, one of the characters that got me to open my trap and not shut up in fandom, he's a great character with a fun backstory and the Most Some Guy husband (who is actually god) I love his boobies and I love his dumb old man loving ass and sealbei-jun is probably the most fun ive ever had reading scientific papers for fandom

Im also starting to like n!Trevor out of spite. He cant be compared to canon Trevor (he'd get kicked into the sunset) in any way but as his own character he is a decent dude with a tragic past. And both his "friends" and the narrative keep treating him like a joke and a punching bag even when he's demonstrating genuine camaraderie by letting them in his childhood home.
And i cant believe how trevorcard turned into the main ship of this sewer of a show. I want the games duo to be all lovely n affectionate w eachother while i want n!Trevor to punch n!Alucard's fangs in
And honestly im glad he got pushed to the side by the show i cant imagine what s3 would have done to him if the writers thought he was pretty enough for the sexual abuse treatment
No joke, I think N!Trevor is my second favorite character in the show, right behind Dracula. Third if I count N!Hector in S2 and S2 only. Definitely one of the few I don't despise.
Like. He's not great. He's a generic anti-hero down on his luck and with hehe funny alcoholism, and largely inferior to Trevor who despite popular conception has a solid character, strengths and weaknesses. But he's perfectly inoffensive? He has a decent character arc, a decent backstory that explains his flaws, good intentions, and the story doesn't need to tell you that he's good deep down despite his rough exterior: it is shown when at first he walks by a Speaker getting harassed, but then he reluctantly intervenes. I like how in the finale of S1 he directs the mob to defend themselves against night creatures, showing that, when push comes to shove, he's a great leader. I like how, while he's not an expert in magic like Sypha or intimately familiar with Dracula like Alucard, he's genuinely knowledgable about monster lore and proud of his heritage: he's so happy when he finds the Morning Star! Also yeah, lines like "I am Trevor Belmont, and dying has never frightened me" are pretty cool.
He's a cool guy! And the story just hates his guts for no reason??? I am appalled by the amounts of abuse this dude gets put through by his friend and girlfriend?? And then the story who just gets tired of him halfway through????
Trephacard as a ship makes zero sense to me. Trepha, I can kind of understand because, while she is an utter prick to Trevor in S1 and 2 (oh no she learned to swear thanks to him! this is the same girl who wanted to make him drink her piss because he was "rude"), at least the two genuinely bond more in S3 and 4, although in the most useless excuse of a subplot conceivable. But adding Alucard into the mix is like poisoning a well. He's unpleasant, I have really no other word for him. He's mean, cruel, dismissive, insulting, petty, disrespectful... to a guy that did nothing to deserve this constant barrage of insults, in fact Alucard should be more than grateful that this dude wants to help him in this emotionally devastating mission... and Sypha defends him because his Depression™ is worse than Trevor's Depression™.
"yeah you're sad but i can make fun of you and you react to me, yay! he's just a poor uwu baby who is too Sad to feel anything other than Sad, feel sorry for him" no, I don't think I will :)
Petition to save N!Trevor and N!Hector and put them in a story that actually treats them as characters and not as chew toys pls

So ummm Zeno au<3 I’m really normal. Allow me to give a brief explanation of what Zeno is first
You see, Zeno is a fictional disease sort of thing that makes people cannibals. Specifically an oneset is caused by traumatic events/extreme cases of unrequited love(specifically mostly familial) and the only cure is eating the flesh of someone else with Zeno.(not widely known.) It’s also transmittable through biting like zombies. there’s one specific facility with scientists dedicated to getting to the bottom of how to cure zeno, also housing ‘patients’ (or, people with zeno being used as lab rats). Now onto character lore.
So william and henry were good friends right. Yeah. Considering that they even have a small diner together. Well one day will got zeno (oh no!) and started slowly picking off kids going to the diner. He even accidentally attacked Charlie, who escaped in one piece luckily. Charlie went to the afton household to see if he was doing okay (because will’s like an uncle to her and all! And also what if everyone else got hurt?) only to find will ate them all oops. And yeah same happened to her, but since he transmitted zeno to Charlie he was cured! How convenient! The people in charge of the labs ended up roping him and henry into being scientists for them through shady shady means and well the two aren’t on good terms and avoid each other like the plague. Henry’s still sore over the ‘you ate my fucking daughter’ thing. Luckily he has his assistant/the archivist (tape girl) to keep him company.
So Vanessa right! Crazzy I know.
Nessa as we know comes from a broken family. In this specific au I’m mixing her backstory with the character who’s place she’s taking (hi kuro) so basically her parents. Neglect her. In favor of her younger sibling because she was born from her mom’s affair and blablabla… she grows up basically taking care of herself. Eventually she develops zeno and starts you know. Killing and eating random girls as you do. When one night she comes home and is confronted by her parents about this!! And well you can guess. What happens to them lol. She gets captured and taken to the zeno facility where she’s specifically studied/talked to by William!

Since being cured himself zeno has been a subject of interest to him, he’s thrown himself completely into his work (under the guise of feeling soooo guilty for his actions which henry can see right through) and well. He’s realized the consumption of human flesh has something to do with it, since eating Charlie cured him. So he’s been …. Robbing the morgue/killing people when needed to feed vanessa every time they meet. Which, she’s more docile when she’s not hungry so it kind of works but she’s not like cured you know. It has the side affect of her being hungry when it’s time for someone to chat with her though which was funny the one time henry had to go in will’s stead cause he offered her a granola bar and she was like 😐 ew.?? Anyways will has gotten her total trust because he also plays board games with her yay!! He’s the only one not enforcing the whole straightjacket-dog muzzle combo also so she’s like woah !! He sees me as another human unlike these other guys :DD (needless to say zeno patients are not treated very humanely.lol) there was also one time tape girl had to be a substitute for william but nothing of note happened they just kinda chilled and ness threatened her in a backhanded and mildly gay sort of way.as you do.
Anyway yeah so basically Henry’s been experimenting with treatment through amnesia and totally surely unrelated note at the actual start of the story, Will and Nessa wake up in a strange room with no clue who they are or how they got here, and have to navigate the now bloody and corpse-strewn facility while handcuffed together with nothing to guide them except each other and the only clue to their pasts is tampered resumes which effectively switch their backstories!! Nessa is under the impression that she’s the scientist (the whole cannibalism part was left out) and she thinks William is the serial murderer/cannibal. Which was funny cause she read her own resume like wow… I’m kind of a big deal huh :) and then read Will’s like ERM.OKAY…
Will didn’t read either of the resumes. Also tape girl gave everyone code names and said code names were swapped on the resumes also! So ‘bonnie’(nessa) and ‘vanny’(will) are just kind of cluelessly walking around like damn this place is really… corpsey:) until henry starts showing up and trying to kill them (he contracted zeno big surprise) and also tape girl (assumed dead) shows up sometimes just to see how things are going. Lots of shenanigans and also murder ensue.
The game also has multiple endings so. sometimes nessa ends up killing william lol. Intestine jumprope…. … ……… Also side note.will found out it’s specifically zeno infected humans that need to be fed to patients to cure them but kinda. Didn’t cure nessa on purpose<3 because she’s sort of entirely dependent on him in this way and she’s kind of his only friend.the same way he’s her only friend……wacky wild!
Tape girl is having a fucking.day. Because henry mentioned he was going to do something but likeee. She didn’t expect to be caught in the crossfires of a HUGE MASS MURDER CANNIBAL EVENT.AS LIKE ONE OF THE 4 PEOPLE STILL ALIVE IN HERE,.. once he chilled out henry explained himself and she agreed to help out (she also decided to distribute some of her recorded notes.just for fun…after the two get separated for the first time ‘vanny’ listens to them and is like woah… i was a patient here⁉️ And bon was my unethical doctor⁉️⁉️ which is funny) but like. She is the only one NOT infected in here and would like to keep it that way so she’s having quite the time. Seeing vanessa walking around unrestrained keeps jumpscaring her LOL. Once ness’s zeno symptoms start returning well ofc will as the only one she’d encountered here who she cares about is the first target but tape girl nearly gets chomped too lol.
Zeno has an interesting affect on the subjects mood which is funny. Basically when an oneset happens and the person with zeno is running around eating people they’re in a crazed manic state which. Is really fun.will and nessa are wandering around handcufffed and he’s like uhh bonnie you okay cause her facial expressions.well they went from the example on the left to the one on the right.
It’s funny bc. The memory erasure actually technically did work… her symptoms only started returning bc she got bit LOL
Pre-the amnesia incident the other three’s interactions with vanessa were pretty.limited. Considering she’s theeee most dangerous patient. Will talks to her for like an hour daily but Henry only really knows her as ‘william’s mutt’ (he was especially not a fan when he found out will had been FEEDING HER HUMAN FLESH.) and tape girl is afraid of her but also. Kind of endeared from their two in person interactions. The second one in which vanessa tried to convince her to let her cannibalize her but hey she was very polite about it..!! Henry and tape girl are both shocked and stunned that she’s actually pretty chill when she’s not insane and eating people.

i also thought of this. what if the player, who was already in the game for quite a while, broke down in front of the idols? because while the attention may all be pleasing at first, no doubt they'll get overwhelmed sooner or later. i think there are multiple types of reactions: those who feel pity, those who blame themselves, those who blame others, and those who take advantage of your weakened state. I WONDER IF I MISSED SOME... i would absolutely love to hear your thoughts about this.

He´s such an interesting and complex character so I can´t help but be a bit scared that I´m going to write him a bit out of character. So this reassurance is just really really nice! Who would I stick to if I was transported into the world of enstars? Also some characters reacting to the player breaking down after having to deal with all of their affections for so long
Hm who would I stick to if I got into the game? Anzu and Arashi are good choices, I agree. They´re both nice and doting towards you and they aren´t as intimidating as some of the other idols, just very approachable! I think Ra*bits and Ryuseitai as a whole are pretty safe to be around. Even when they´re yandere I feel like their behavior would be pretty tame compared to the others and they would be so nice to you! Nazuna and Chiaki in particular love to help you and are always there for you if you need assistance with anything.
I mean how are you supposed to be uncomforabtle around someone as open and passionate as Chiaki? He´s such a great guy!
Trickstar also feels pretty safe though I feel Subaru might drag the whole lot of them down a bit because of his antics sometimes fjsbf like he´s nice and all but I feel like he would be pretty overwhelming to be around after some time. Consider how he is in canon and then imagine him literally being obsessed with you 🙃 Makoto also is a stuttering awkward mess around you so it might be a little hard to hold a conversation but he´s not the problem here
Would definitely stay away from Eichi, Ibara,Tori, Izumi, Rinne and Shu though. Like, I love you my pink haired blorbo but he´s either kind of harsh and rude or he´s so obviously obsessed with you that you´d start to feel stifled and uncomfortable real quick
I think the others are pretty self-explanatory kbdhlahbdhla
And yeah honestly, while the attention would be nice at first, it would get very overwhelming really quick. Like all of these people swarming around you all the time and especially when you find out about their yandere tendecies you would want to get out of this very fast. You have literal *stalkers* here at ES and people who would murder to have you to themselves. That´s fucking scary
The breakdown is inevitable at this point, the only question is how many people would be around to see it happen.
I haven´t written anything for him in a long time and that needs to change so, Natsume! He would definitely use this to his advantage though he also kind of pushes the guilt onto the others having wronged you instead of recognizing that he too played a part in this. Goes up to comfort you by putting a hand on your shoulder and telling you how sorry he is that everyone has been bothering you so much. He knows some secret places inside the building so why don´t you to with him to a place no one else knows of? He really is so sorry about all of this but it seems like that´s the only way for you be safe from all of these pesky idols :/
Mika feels kind of guilty about this entire thing, probably aware that his stalking didn´t help your mental state but he also just can´t stop doing it. He knows he´s not worthy of your love yet but he still needs his daily dose of being near you and watching you! So he isn´t really going to stop with any of his creepy behavior..... He may get a little feral though once he learns that all of the other people at ES have been bothering you. None of them are worthy of you either so maybe he needs to take matters into his own hands to deal with them
Honestly Nazuna´s yandere behavior is just going to get worse from this. He´s already the protective worrywart kind of person so to see you break down like this hurts a lot to see. It kind of reminds him of himself and how he felt in the past and he feels truly bad that he contributed to your pain even though he only meant well. The way he feels about you isn´t right, he knows, but now that your mental state has spiralled like this, the urge to protect you and make sure you´re okay has just gotten stronger. He knows he´s no saint in this entire ordeal but there are even worse threats in all of this. His utmost priority will be keeping people like Izumi or Kaoru away from you.

Crown of Ashes and Flames— Update 18/11/2022
Since there is no demo I'm going to try posting updates so you know I haven't left this to rot.
It was a busy week but that means I finally have clarity on things!
The Prologue is finally done with editing (there's one bit we are still iffy about but we will get there) it has ~10k words without code as it is only the intro to the story. I'm still unsure on if I want to release the prologue by itself or not as it is quite short and probably not as satisfying to play.
I've been messing around with the javascript and css of the game and have finally managed to settle on the overall look of the game! Yay for me because I went through multiple looks and wasn't satisfied with many. There are still things I'd like to tweak so I'd say it's 80% done. It's kind of hard coding and all these when I don't have a laptop and work on my phone but I will be just fine (hopefully).
I've written a bit more about the world and its people, I have a soft spot for side characters so I've been fleshing them out and trying to write the journey they will go throughout the story. I think the background stories will help the story be more fulfilling.
Not sure if anyone remembers my idea of scattering journal pages through the palace for MC to find and to add to the codex, if you do then I'm happy to say I finally figured out who will be the character writing them and I love the idea because it's kind of funny to me. I'd love to share but you know how it is.
With the Prologue being truly done I can finally move on to writing chapter 1 without worries. I have it outlined but I want to go into more detail so I don't have to try figure things out mid writing.
Now that the updates are done, I'd like to know what you guys think. Should I release just the Prologue first? What else would you guys like to know? Don't forget my Asks are always open!

hey mary, do you like Loki? Did you watch the finale?
(this ask has spoilers)
Before the show, no. I didn't like Loki at all. This is funny because MCU Loki was the only version of the character I couldn't stand, while in Assassins Creed, Loki easily became one of my favorite video-game characters. Of course, that's on Disney and the way they poorly wrote the characters as this sociopath genocide who envies his brother and never tried to reconnect with his original race or anything. Even after Ragnarok, with Loki stealing the Stone, he was just off for me. And then the first season came, and he was still showing dictator behaviors, acting like he had the right to control everybody else, and I was like "Ugh white man" - Yes, MCU Loki is a white cisgender dude, and this is from a critical point of view. Disney never worked with the possibility of him being genderfluid, and a fucking 1-inch note on the side of the screen during the credits doesn't change the way Tom Hiddleston has portrayed the character as a cisgender man. And don't get me started on how problematic the whole Sylvie Female Loki is okay- Do you wanna see a true genderfluid Loki? Go watch the Netflix "Ragnarok" Show. That said, I obv pretend Disney never wrote shit and Loki has always been explicitly genderfluid, and try to write him like that as well.
Anyway, I really liked the finale, especially if you compare the overall quality of this season with the first one; The show got better. Really better. it's way funnier, the rhythm is finer, and the dynamics between the characters work well. Even the photography is prettier. Of course, nothing is perfect. They got rid of the self-incest part (thank god) but somehow brought misogyny back on. Where did Sylvie's development go? Renslayer's? B-15's? Every female character is either evil or unimportant. Sylvie was literally the main in the first season but we barely got to see her now, only for her to be left with no ending. And the fact that even Kang's new variant got more screen time than Renslayer is a crime. At least we got a lot of Mobius, he's such a sweetheart.
But yes, I do like Loki. I didn't adore the finale, but I liked it a lot. Excluding the issues I mentioned before, Loki finally got his well-deserved development and GLORIOUS PURPOSE. I was so happy I got the reference and then I got so sad. He's alone, that poor soul. And I was left speechless, for a good moment I literally had to pause the show, when we got the "centuries later" logo. His willpower and determination to do the right thing after so long? Amazing. Two words to show the most unique and incredible growth a character ever had in the MCU before. Loki really became the master of time to save his friends, only in the end for his purpose to be alone without them. I AM NOT OKAY
btw, I would love to know what you guys thought about the ending, the whole god of stories being a thing now; did you guys like the show, I think it had one of the best endings for Marvel, just behind Wandavision (both shared the same problems, open holes in the narrative for future projects probably).
Good news for anyone who actually read to the end, this means I finally get to write my TVA!Reader x Wanda series, the most slow burn, enemies to lovers, ride-or-die couple ever wrote it; yay!

Carimus: West of Loathing protagonist, part of the "2 bards 1 evil wizard" timeline. He's an edgy snake oiler with a rocky past who firmly believed that nothing in this world could love him (and then something in this world loved him).
Margaret: Shadows over Loathing protagonist, part of the of the "2 bards 1 evil wizard" timeline. She's a cheese wizard, one of two twin daughters of Carimus, and doomed to be evil from the start because she was my shadow taint run lol!! She eventually morphs into the evil monster girlboss Margaret but cooler (or MBC for short).
Match 3 and 4...
Beddin Spectre and Loony lost!
Beddin Spectre: I DONT THINK IVE POSTED HER BEFORE. She's a Shadows over Loathing protagonist, and a milk mage (like cheese wizard but a little to the left). She inspects every bed she can find, even ones she shouldn't be able to reach normally. How does she do it I have no clue honestly she's just built different
Loony: The main protagonist of Pocket Clockwork and an AU version of Moony. She's a lot more quiet and timid than her original counterpart. Loony lives in a small town named Minut Town, going by a nice perfect little schedule every day. Until, yknow, plot happens and such.

First impression
I think it was love at first sight despite the initial frustration with his fight! I got chills when I saw him walking towards me in the dark and when I saw his crow garb….with the Cainhurst armor…I was quite enamored. It was like seeing a combination of Lady Maria and Eileen…which is still what I’m convinced FromSoft was going for.
Eileen calling him a “thing” in the English translation also gave me the impression that he was some unstoppable ancient terror and after he kicked my ass for the 100th time or whatever, I definitely felt like that was true, haha.
Impression now
He is my son that I adopted and I think he deserves the world <3
Ok, in all seriousness, he is really just my favorite character to develop and think about. His visual appearance and in-game inventory alone is enough to fuel tons of theories and story ideas. I don’t know what it is, but so many different interpretations can work for him, and I find them all compelling.
Favorite moment
There’s this tiny moment when you are first walking through the doors to fight him where his cape glitches and is sticking way out like proper wings and then when you get closer, it falls back into place. It makes me laugh every time because it just looks so funny.
Besides that and his whole fight in general, I am obsessed with this scene of him from Fieldhouz’s mini film series about his origins. Just this opening sequence gives me chills.
I know it’s kinda cheating because this isn’t in-game, but I will take any opportunity to rave about this mini series on Crow. This one and the one just before it have some incredible moments. They really inspired me.
Idea for a story
Well, I’m still working on my origin fic for him, Christened in Blood, so I guess you could call that one big story idea, haha. Basically the whole idea of him being a lost Cainhurst noble alongside Maria and both of them taking very different paths in their lives, ending up in very tragic places is…my all-time favorite story idea. I can’t wait to write it all.
Unpopular opinion
If he met Alfred, he would kill him instantly and there would be no sexual tension lmao. (Sorry guys!)
Favorite relationship
I headcanon him to have deep relationships with Maria, Eileen, and Annalise respectively, and my favorite of them all is the potential mother figure/adopted son relationship he could have with Eileen. I see so many instances of the “emotionally distant, badass dad, and his adopted, unhinged daughter” trope in media, but I rarely see the same dynamic with mothers and sons, so I really projected it onto Eileen and Bloody Crow, which made for some lovely angst ;-;
Favorite headcanon
Besides the thing with Eileen being like his surrogate mother, I am still obsessed with the HC that he was Maria’s younger brother. It’s such an intriguing idea, and I love the possible connections like him being the only hunter in-game, apart from the dream, to use the Hunter’s Bone, which we all think was Maria’s. I love gruesome sibling angst!

2. Favourite canon thing about this character?
His sunny demeanour that hides a world of pain. Ray is simultaneously the happiest guy you’ll ever meet, and the saddest. No contradiction at all; he contains multitudes. He really really wants to bring the team together with trust exercises, not because he’s trying to plaster over the cracks, so much as because he adores them and wants them to be the best they can be. And yet the depths he can sink to - like when he thought Mick didn’t trust him with the cold gun. And his joy when he realised Mick did. Amazing, perfect, I love him.

15. What's your favorite ship for this character? (Doesn't matter if it's canon or not.)
I will always have a very soft spot in my heart for atomwave, but I was totally won over by darhkatom by the end of Legends. Nora and Ray had an awesome dynamic - they were both hilarious and adorable together. And they both deserved to be happy! It’s not often I like a canon pairing, but those two really won my heart. <3
16. What’s your least favourite ship for this character?
I got myself in trouble once by naming a ship I don’t like for Ray, which led me to my current tumblr policy where I never say what my least favourite ship for any character is 😂 But honestly these days there aren’t any ships I really dislike for Ray. Pretty much everyone he gets paired with, he has an interesting dynamic with. Darhkatom? Beautiful ‘opposites attract’ ship, leading to many laughs and feels. Atomwave? The gruff mean one meets the enthusiastic adorable one who melts his heart - perfect. Nate/Ray? Time bros 4eva. Ray and Zari? Totally underrated, either as a friendship (perfection) or a pairing (fun). Even pairings for Ray that I don’t really get, like Ray/Felicity, still have their moments. But (and I think I’ve said this before in an ask) what I like writing most for Ray isn’t ships - it’s The Continuing Adventures of Ray Palmer And His Found Family Bumbling Their Way Through Space and Time. And that’s what I ended up writing a lot of, back when I was writing Legends fics. :)
17. What’s a ship for this character you don’t hate but it’s not your favourite that you’re fine with?
Ray and Kendra were never a pairing that made a lot of sense to me, but they were kind of cute all the same, and I’ve read a couple of sweet fics with them.
