📱Much to his dismay he spoils the surprise for himself by actively spying on your online activities and for that witnesses how you buy something online. So when you hand him one day shyly a gift wrapped up in some pretty wrapping paper, he has already a very good idea of what is inside due to the short time that passed by between the delivery of the bought product and your gift. Nevertheless, he's still quite happy as he unwraps your gift with a happy smile on his face. It is a bit of a letdown that he has ruined himself the enjoyment of surprise due to his frequent stalking but he knows he'd never have it any other way but spying on you so intently. For your sake he pretends to be surprised though, he can't let you realize that he knows about your present already after all. You're wrapped up in muscular arms shortly after as he gives you a sweet and long kiss, thanking you for the surprise. After another quick peck on your nose he promises you with a bright grin on his face that he'll buy you something nice in return too.

Ken Kankeki

🔲Preparing a gift for Kaneki is going to be quite a challenge. Not only because you are essentially stuck all the time in his apartment but also because he is like your shadow, he's everywhere you are. You have to tell him that you wish to be left alone as you try to create a gift for him yourself and he takes it obviously the wrong way. He automatically assumes that you don't want to see him and amidst all his pain he just tells himself over and over again that obviously you wouldn't want to see a creep like him around. It's almost funny that the thought that you might just make something for him never crosses his mind, so low is his self-esteem. He actually sheds a few tears when you finally hand him your gift. Kaneki never thought you'd give him a present but he's delirious with joy that you wasted your precious time for him. Honestly, it almost weirds you out how stupidly happy he seems to be because your gift isn't that special but you've gotten somewhat used to his antics. He has to give you something back in return! Or else he'd feel absolutely useless.

Haise Sasaki

🔳Luckily despite Haise's occasional stalking and obsessive tendencies, you as his darling are still free to go around by yourself. So getting him a gift is easy in comparison to Kaneki. That doesn't change the fact that he seems quite puzzled upon receiving the gift at first. He just stares at you sort of baffled before he glances at the wrapped object in his hand before almost comedically confused asking you if this is for him. His heart flatters in his chest as soon as you nod and urge him to open it and he carefully unwraps the gift wrap paper, your anticipating eyes on him making him a tad bit nervous for some reason. Initially he just stares at your present in silence as soon as it is unwrapped and for a few seconds you fear that he doesn't like it. That is until a faint blush appears on his cheeks as he mumbles in a quieter voice that he loves it. He gives you a soft peck on your cheeks and you find it somewhat funny how he seems to be too bashful to even look you into your eyes. You're definitely getting a home-made meal from him later on.

🤎Trying to hide a gift from Dazai as a Port Mafia is about impossible because he never leaves you alone. Where he is, you have to be too so you have no choice but to confess to him that you want to get him a gift but find it impossible to do so with the way he isolates you and never leaves you without his presence close to you. He's strangely curious to why you'd want to gift him something even despite his obvious obsessive and possessive behavior and the abduction and your answer that you want to do something nice for him seems to entertain him. Miraculously he allows you some alone time to get him something as he's interested to see what you would gift a Port Mafia member like him. He's pleasantly surprised when he receives your present, chuckles when he notices your almost anxious look as you observe him eying your gift. You flinch when he grabs your neck and pulls you closer as bad memories flash inside your mind only to be met with a passionate kiss as he thanks you for your gift, his eyes sparkling happy as he looks at your gift again.

ADA! Dazai Osamu

🤎Your frequent shopping trips haven't gone unnoticed as Dazai enjoys stalking you as often as he can. It's adorable to see you acting so carefree, unaware that he's always trailing behind you. He has to wonder why you have recently spent so much time entering store after store without buying anything though. You seem to search for something, what it is you're looking for you appear to not even know yourself. So it's a present for someone then? For him, perhaps? He really hopes that you're looking for something for him because he would be quite jealous if you were to pick a present for someone else. He decides to wait, stops stalking you as much for a while in case you really are buying a gift for him because he wants to be surprised. He's over the moon when his hopes are fulfilled and you gift him something a few days later. He's already unimaginably joyful, gushing and giving you lots of kisses before he has even opened your gift. He knows that you spent a lot of time picking a gift for him to make sure that you'd find the right present so he's all the more happy to know that you invested that much time and care for him.

Itadori Yuji

🩷Yuji has bought you so many small gifts already that you almost feel pressured to pay him back somehow. You want to do it all by yourself too so you don't even ask for Nobara's or Megumi's help as you start searching for something to gift your boyfriend. Your heart is pounding when you surprise him with the gift. At first he seems really flattered as he takes it from your hands with a grin on your face and gives you a few quick kisses. When he sees what's inside though, his eyes widen as he asks you how much money exactly you spent on this for him. You try to avoid his question but perhaps that's answer enough as Itadori starts freaking out a bit. Don't get him wrong, he's really happy that you gifted him something but he feels a bit guilty that you spent so much money on him. Obviously he doesn't accept your arguments that he's spent a lot of money on smaller presents for you because if he does it it's of course not that bad. He accepts it because you prepared it for him but he makes you promise him that you won't spend so much money the next time.

Ryomen Sukuna

🗾Sukuna isn't always with you because he has sometimes important stuff to do but is confident enough to know that you'd never escape. Even if you would, it's not like you could get very far away. It isn't uncommon for Uraume to watch over you if Sukuna isn't with you so you beg them to help you to get a gift for Sukuna. Somehow you manage to convince them as they even give you some advice on what you should get him which is why you try your talents in making a hand-made gift for Sukuna in his absence. Sukuna knows you're hiding something but decides to let it pass for now as he even realizes that Uraume seems be in on it and that makes him curious. He looks almost confused as you hand him your hand-made present, carelessly rips it open and twirls the object curiously around in his four hands. Eventually his eyes meet you but instead of thanking you, one of his four hands starts petting your head as he admits that you've done well which is about the highest praise you can get from someone like Sukuna.

Gojo Satoru

🩵You agonize over what to gift Satoru because he is so rich that you feel like whatever you buy won't be anything special as he could have just bought it himself. So you decide to try to make something hand-made for him too. Keeping this hidden from Satoru is a pain in the ass though as the man is too clingy for you to comfortably work. Worst of all seems to be that Gojo has a hunch that you try to keep something a secret from him and he doesn't appreciate this at all. So he bothers you about your secret as often as he can and as much as you're sometimes tempted to just yell it at him, you pull through somehow until you've finished what you had planned to prepare for him despite all the delays due to Satoru. He acts like an excited child when you hand it over to him as he quickly unwraps it. He's taking pictures of it, tells you excitedly that he'll share them with his students and co-workers before suffocating you in a hug and smothering you with kisses. He literally won't shut up about it for the next few days, whether he's with Yuju, Nobara and Megumi or Nanami.

You’d always known there was something… different within Sasaki. Dare you say another personality. They – or he? – manifested sporadically, but it was enough for him to lose all control he had over his body. Akira had even shot him with a tranquilizer one time, and it cemented the idea of another being that ‘possessed’ him.

Nevertheless, you didn’t let it erase the love that you had for the boy. Despite all his flaws, he was still your one and only lover.

Though, you failed to consider that his problems ran far deeper than the occasional bouts of insanity. Because you, just like most people, were entirely fooled by his bashful smiles and tender nature.

And your mistake eventually came to bite you in the face. Hard.

“Where do you think you’re going?”

Despite his pointed question, Sasaki spared you no glance. Instead, he kept reading the novel as though he was ignoring your presence.

You blinked owlishly, a bit taken aback by the sudden inquiry, before grinning sheepishly. “I just want to buy some snacks, is all. I’m hungry.”

“Aren’t there some leftovers on the kitchen table?”

“There are, but I’m not in the mood to eat anything heavy.”

“Then, stay.”

You hummed questioningly as you cocked your head. Sensing your confusion, Sasaki finally put down the book he’d been devouring and turned his head towards you. His dark eyes glinted under the artificial light, and you couldn’t deny the shivers that rolled down your back. There was a certain coldness in there, something that you had yet to familiarize with his usually benevolent self.

“Stay here, I’ll buy them myself,” he said, squinting as if challenging you to defy him.

“Oh, come on, Sasaki.” you joked. “The supermarket isn’t even that far from here. I’m not gonna take long, I promise.”

He rose a skeptical brow. “Oh, really?” Sasaki stood up from the couch and slowly approached your tensed figure, his face betrayed no emotions whatsoever. “I hope you haven’t forgotten that the last time you went out, you got attacked by a ghoul.”

“W-well, that was an accident. Nobody knew that it’d happen.” You tried to regulate your breathing with each deliberate step he took, almost cornering you against the door. Sasaki stopped just before you, his warm breath was oddly reminiscent of chilly air on autumn days. Maybe because the warmth was a stark contrast to the ice that he wore as a face.

“Still, it served as a reminder to the dangers of the outside world. A warning about your carelessness.” He put a hand on your shoulder and unceremoniously snatched the jacket that hung on it. “You better off staying inside. Let me tend to your needs.”

You frowned, exasperated by his patronizing attitude. Sure, you’d gotten a grievous injury, but it didn’t give him the right to degenerate you as anything less than a fully capable adult. “Sasaki, I’m not a kid that you can always coddle. There are some things that I want to do alone.”

“You wouldn’t be saying that if someone were to harm you again.” Sasaki suddenly gripped your side, where the laceration located. You hissed and fell to your knees, teeth ground to bear the piercing pain. Sasaki made no effort to help you and merely stared down at your wincing person. “See? Just a slight touch and you instantly break like a fragile glass. What makes you think you can survive on your own?”

“Jerk, that hurts.” you snarled, glaring up at him. You couldn’t even speak a word without grimacing, and this bastard dared to take advantage of your agony. You’d never known he was capable of stooping so low, to begin with. Then again, his startling transformation proved that you hardly knew anything about him. About his inner pain and insecurities. About his fear and desire to protect his loved ones.

Nevertheless, it didn’t justify his obnoxious treatment towards you.

“Isn’t it?” he asked rhetorically. “You’re gonna suffer more if you take a step out of this house.”

“Huh? What are you, my father?” you sneered, silently panicking when you felt the undeniable wetness seeped from the bandage. Dammit, it bled now.

“I don’t mind replacing his position if it means protecting you.” Wrapping an arm under your armpit, Sasaki finally helped you standing up and trudged to your shared room. He lowered you to the bed and went to retrieve the first aid.

Scowling, you begrudgingly allowed him to strip you of your shirt and change the stained bandage. “I don’t need your supervision, Sasaki.”

“Weren’t you the one who thought that I resemble your father?” He ignored your sputters and sorry attempts on justifying the offhand comment and coolly tended to your wound. “Trust me, [Name], you need me to live in this world.”

Yandere Ken kaneki, Shironeki & Haise Sasaki

Ken Kaneki would be a really clingy and loving big brother. He may think he is a monster but he wants to guard and protect you. Kaneki is trying to keep you out of the "bad" people. You are almost always with a big brother who is ready to do everything for you. Kaneki is truly innocent and accidentally manipulative. He believes he is working for you. You really can’t change his mind. If you try to hint that he is wrong Kaneki will start crying and get you a bad conscience. You wouldn't like to offend your loving brother's feelings? Don't you?

Shironeki is a more dangerous yandere. He would certainly be much more overprotected and more possessive towards you. Most likely, at this point, Shironeki would lock you in somewhere and not let you go. He does a lot of all the shit and doesn’t want it to get revenge on you. If you try to escape Shironeki will mock how weak you are. He will use physical punishment on you. (However, they are really mild). However, Shironeki is still that loving big brother. He will comfort you always after the punishments and make sure you have all the necessary things.

Haise Sasaki would also be a bit overprotective but at the same time gentle yandere. He would realize that you are someone he knew in his life. The "monster inside him" always goes wild when it sees you with other people. Haise wouldn't kidnap you. Instead, he wants to get to know you better. he is really caring . Haise always listens to your worries and is there to comfort you. He will follow you from a distance and make sure no one hurts you. Definitely the best option of these three. Although sometimes you can see signs of his past behavior.

After 2 weeks without chapter Ishida gives me this weak Kaneki. • You first run into him in the local library, being the avid reader you are, and Kaneki ends up tripping over onto you. • He's so embarrassed and doesn't stop apologising until you grab his shoulders and firmly tell him to stop. He catches a glimpse of the book you're holding and notices it's his favourite. • Just about manages to strike up a conversation about the book, and that's where the infatuation starts. • You won't think anything of the small conversation with a random stranger in the library, but Kaneki will be replaying it in his head on a loop. Just the thought of you makes him go red in the face. • He tells Hide about his encounter and how he can't stop thinking about you and Hide jokes that you two must be soulmates. • He really shouldn't have done that. • After that first meeting, Kaneki practically lives in the library, desperately waiting for you to come back so he can find out the name of the person he's enamoured by. • When you do come back to return your book and pick up a new one, Kaneki is watching you like a hawk, taking in every detail of your face as if attempting to permanently ingrain the image into his mind. • This time, instead of staying in the library while you leave, Kaneki trails behind you -- careful not to let you see him. • Once Kaneki knows where you live, consider your privacy over. • Kaneki is somewhat delusional, in the sense that he won't see what he's doing is wrong and assumes all normal relationships go like this. It makes it worse for you because then he gets upset and confused if you fight back or try to explain that this is not normal. • He's waaayyyy too shy to talk to you, so don't be surprised when you wake up in an unknown bedroom because he didn't know how else to express his feelings. • Kaneki is so awkward he doesn't even know how to explain why you're in his bedroom, it's all just a lot of mumbling and rapid-fire apologies. • You can't help feel bad for him at first. I mean, this guy has got some serious issues. Of course, after the realisation that you've literally been kidnapped hits, that sympathy fades a little. • He dies and goes to heaven if you read to him, especially his favourite books. Heaven. • Punishment is more him sobbing hysterically into your lap as you're restrained to a chair, which doesn't sound like much, but trust me -- it wears you down very quickly. You'll stop trying to escape if only to avoid those goddamn tears that seem to be endless. • Kaneki is obsessive and pretty much worships you like some sort of deity, so you'll often find him staring dreamily at you, or muttering to himself about the shape and colour of your eyes or how your eyes crinkle when you smile. • He doesn't want to scare you by revealing he's a ghoul, but you kind of put two and two together after noticing he eats nothing and waking up to him drooling all over you. • Kaneki is unsurprisingly tame, and really just wants you to coddle him and shower him in affection.

Shironeki

• You'll wonder if Kaneki died considering he's been gone for so long. You've only managed to survive because you weren't restrained to the bed and could access food in the cupboard. It was actually pretty peaceful compared to being watched 24/7, but don't worry, it ends there. • You open your eyes after a relatively good sleep only to discover you're yet again in a strange place. • This place is a lot less nice than the previous place; its dirty, smelling damp and you're on a worn down sofa rather than a bed. • When you see Kaneki it's safe to see you're shocked. His hair is pure white, a stark contrast to his formerly jet black hair. His face is different too, he seems older and more solemn. • He may have been a tame obsessive the first time he kidnapped you, but he's a lot more... possessive now.• Your punishments are no longer Kaneki crying, instead you're the one with tears streaming down your face.• He still has somewhat soft moments, but he's much more aggressive and closed off towards you now. When you see him after he's been with Aoigiri members, all he wants to do is vent his frustrations on you.• Luckily for you, Kaneki doesn't really have any opportunities to get jealous since, well, you're trapped all alone in a small room with no one besides him to talk to. However, if you do happen to leave the room and come across one of the other members of Aoigiri, Kaneki will go batshit. • This is because the anxious, insecure part of him from before worries you'll leave him for someone stronger and better than him. Then there's the protective part that knows how dangerous the ghouls of Aoigiri are and how weak you are compared to them.• He'll drag you back into your room, screaming about how stupid you are, his kagune flying around manically. He "realises" the only way for you to understand the dangers you're surrounded by is to experience them firsthand. • You won't be going out that door again after you pass out from pain and blood loss, and if you for some reason do.... well say goodbye to your legs.• Honestly, as long as you don't act up and be aggressive towards him, Kaneki is pretty calm towards you -- minus the random violent outbursts when he loses control --and will allow you to access things you like (such as books, video games, music, etc). Unfortunately though, he's not all that fun to be around since he's so busy brooding all the time.

aight i read the whole manga SO NOW I GET TO TALK ABOUT MUTSUKI TOORU AND HOW YALL PISSED ME OFF FOR MISGENDERING HIM AT ALL TIMES

Tooru Mutsuki from tokyo ghoul: re is a trans man, this is established early on, and no you cant ignore that part of his personality when u want to make your weird sexualizing edits of him you WEIRDOS

And i say the fact that tooru is trans is fundamental for his character arc, i would even say its a key aspect of it

To begin with, im going to say ishida is .... not good at writing queer characters, he downright sucks BIG TIME like.... jesus christ man he sucks so much at it and that was really detrimental for tooru's development as a character

BUT REGARDLESS HE REMAINS TRANS AND IDENTIFIES AS MALE, from begining to end of the manga

Now tooru seems to have a bad case of severe ptsd and trauma, and he is an abuse survivor, and all of this got mixed with his gender identity (as sometimes happens), so everytime he identifies as a "girl" in the manga it is heavily linked to his decaying mental health and not as something he feels proud of

As a trans man myself i can understand that, sometimes when im having bad episodes i start questioning my identity and switching back pronouns to "prove if im really trans or if im a fake" which seems to be the same thing tooru is doing cause it seems to only add more stress and push further his breakdowns

He is dissociating so hard and going back to how he used to be, he seems to also black out and commit horrendously violent acts due to said dissociation and the lack of a support system

He also seems to be gay, and taking said feelings as proof that he is "A female"

I want to say no girl ever refers to herself as "a female", specially with the implications that is something.... negative, but i used to do that before realizing i was trans, so thats that on that

So tooru seems to have fallen really REALLY LOW, his mental health is a mess, he got tortured so much he lost his damn marbles and he seems to be in a dissociative state since that point on

He has a baaaaad obsession with his professor, and its shown that is cause haise (kaneki) was the first to respect him as a person and as a man (he seems to be one of the only ones to use tooru's correct pronouns during the whole series) and later on is revealed this obsession is also brought due to haise triggering tooru's dysphoria this one time he entered the bathroom and he hadnt bind himself yet

The "rejection" brought by that event seems to have been a big part of tooru's obsession with haise, to the point he goes like "he thought my body was disgusting and that i was disgusting" which is a feeling that i can relate to, and its understandable then why during his mental breakdown he seems to be obsessed with obtaining haises romantic feelings and "approval"

Im not going to pretend like he is a cinnamon roll and he did nothing wrong.... cause he did.... he did everything wrong, but im gonma add nuance and said "this poor guy got so much bad luck he was abused constantly and no one really check up on him so how the FUCK WERE U EXPECTING THIS TO TURN OUT?!?!"

Also as further proof, his decaying mental health seems to be directly linked to multiple characters misgendering him and sexualizing him (torso, his father, even urie misgender him) and he seems to he repulsed all around by being the object of desire of others so maybe dont do that

He also haves some sick fantasies where he hypersexualize himself but only if haise is involved, and he seems to be completely out of it when they happen (another proof that he only sees himself as "female" when he is dissociating)

The strongest proof seems to be after his squad finally confronts him, he seems to have a lot of disgust and hate towards himself as all the reality of what has happened to him and what he has done settles down inside him, and he gets.... not well..... straight up suicidal (again another feeling i can relate to) as he admits he just wants to go back to when he was happy with the others, you know.... when he was accepted as who he was and he felt respected and safe.... not constantly misgendered and treated like eye candy

And then once they reach the final scenes, the happy endings, he cuts his hair short and remains identifying as a man, taking control back and seeing as lucid as he was in the start

SO I DO TAKE PERSONAL OFFENSE THAT EVERYONE KEEPS CALLING HIM A GIRL AND YANDERE AND "OMG SHE IS SO CRAZY AND SEXY LETS DRAW HER IN MINI SKIRTS AND ROBES WITH HUGE BAZOONKAS"

Cause the whole story he seems to be in so much pain, even saiko tells him "if all of your recent actions were your decision why do u seem so miserable" and its stated that identifying as a girl brings him so much pain and it PISSES ME OFF THAT EVERYONE KEEPS TALKING ABOUT HIM AS A GIRL CAUSE I CAN FUCKING RELATE TO HIS SUFFERING

AND I KNOW IM 3 YEARS TOO LATE TO THIS MANGA AND ITS NOT RELEVANT AT ALL bUT IT IS IMPORTANT TO ME GOD DAMN IT

Pains me so much that everyone dismisses his identity cause he is a trans man and "if he is a trans man that means he is basically a woman right?" When even the damn story shows that he is in pain for not being seeing as he is so BY FUCK SAKE IM WRITING THIS ANALYSIS

Ken Kankeki

🔲Kaneki, who hasn't been a ghoul until the accident, already struggles with his self-control a bit yet his s/o really puts his mental composure to the test. Kaneki would never hurt his s/o, he'd die for them. So why is his mouth watering a bit whenever he catches a good whiff of their skin? That enticing smell invades his mind and fuels his greed for a taste yet as soon as he catches himself indulging in the thought of those primal desires, disgust and self-loathing burns through his entire being. He punishes himself for even thinking about you like this, although all inflicted wounds heal after a while due to his regeneration abilities. He spends hours in his room, tears in his eyes and his own blood coating his mouth and his teeth as he stares at his arms and watches the injuries slowly healing. It isn't enough, he thinks to himself. This pain isn't enough to make up for letting himself develop such vile desires for your flesh and blood.

🔲Through all of this hatred directed against himself, there's another fear blossoming deep inside of Kaneki's soul. If he already lusts for a taste of you like this, how would it be for other ghouls? Suddenly his thoughts are overwhelmed with images of other ghouls attacking you, tearing you apart, devouring you as your agonizing screams die down and the life leaves your eyes. Such gruesome thoughts nearly make him throw up whenever they won't leave his head and twist and turn his stomach. Despite his disgust for himself, Kaneki follows you around whenever he can and every ghoul he comes across whilst following you, he attacks. His paranoia makes every ghoul see him as your future murderer so he scares them, hurts them and in the worst case kills them. His mind is spinning, his heart is aching and his body is just yearning for closeness with you until Kaneki who has already been cracking under the pressure of his own emotions crumbles apart.

🔲Your scent soon fills his apartment wherever he goes and it is as soothing as it makes him go a bit crazy. He feels hunger for you, for just a small taste of your blood yet he always holds himself back. You're always uneasy around him as he often just stares at you and you see his entire body softly trembling. Occasionally he takes a step or two in your direction, his gaze needy before he stumbles back again and mumbles something to himself. Kaneki tries to stay away from you but it doesn't always work. You remember sometimes waking up at night to him wrapped around you, his face in your neck as he takes deep breaths and you can feel his own racing heart beat through his chest. If you should ever hurt yourself and the blood just seeps out of your wound, he completely relapses on his delicate control for a moment or two, might even taste the wound with his warm tongue.

Touka Kirishima

🟪Touka has been having some emotions for you for a while now but she has actively tried to ignore them. She's even pushing you away from her, seems short-tempered and brash around you if you should ever try to start a conversation with her. You're confused and wonder if you've done something wrong yet really, none of this is your fault. At least not a fault you made consciously. It's just that your scent ...drives her a bit mad. Touka has never wanted this obsession with you and as if her own emotions aren't already enough to give her a headache, your very sweet blood rushing through your body complicates it all a bit. It isn't that she's about to lose control per se as she has experience in controlling her appetite but the combination of her feelings and your sweet smell seem to make it so difficult for her.

🟪She knows how most humans view ghouls so she is very bend on never letting you find out what she is because as tough as she may try to be, she fears to see her darling being afraid of her due to her being a ghoul. Yet she also knows that not all ghouls will be as careful around you as she is so Touka often starts stalking you or just simply walking you home. Honestly, her behavior contradicts itself often around you because on the one hand she avoids yet also often accompanies you but it's not like you'll get an answer out of her for this. She does all of this for protection because she is fully aware that ghouls might very well come after you for your sweet scent. No one will harm you under her watch though because even with her quiet and aloof exterior at times, she is very ready to become violent for your sake.

🟪Her secret can't remain a secret forever though and eventually she sees herself forced to tell you the truth about her biology and also reveal to you what your sweet smell does to the hunger of a ghoul. She has to swallow back her her emotions when she sees the fear blooming on your face, some of it also directed at her. This is what she expected but still... seeing it hurts. This reveal doesn't have to end in an abduction though and she makes that clear to you too. If you just do as she says and let her continue watching over you, she would be willing to let you live on with your life as you're used to it. Although she knows it'll probably never be quite the same for you again now that you know what she is and are also aware just how special and sweet your blood is for her kind.

Ayato Kirishima

🌌Ayato would rather come up with every other excuse than the one that involves him admitting that he harbors deep inside his heart romantic attraction to a human. Your sweet and special blood is so used as his best excuse to deny his feelings and instead make it look like he's only obsessed with you due to your addictive blood. He's very straightforward in clarifying it to every other ghoul that they shouldn't dare to harm you unless they want to be attacked and murdered by him. Ayato is very straightforward with his territorial feelings and every ghoul who resides even close to you will be beaten bloody by him to the point where even their regeneration won't do much for them. He's big on just stalking you for a couple of months because he still doesn't know what to do with the mess of emotions inside of him. He knows who is to blame for it though. You.

🌌The time eventually comes where Ayato grows sick and tired of seeing you walk around and be so unaware and in good spirits whilst he is tearing himself mentally apart because of his conflicting emotions and has gone on a killing spree just to prevent any other ghoul from attacking you and devouring you. You're such an ungrateful brat. You don't deserve to be left like this, so carefree and happy with your life. He abducts you because he's spiteful and angry with you. A part of him just wants to see you suffer a bit so that he can feel better about himself and also convince himself that you're nothing more than a petty and pathetic human. You should be careful not to anger him since Ayato is very trigger-happy the first few weeks after abduction because your constant presence confronts him harshly with his true feeling for you.

🌌He's being a sadistic asshole for a while with you and hurts you on purpose to taste some of your blood, his tongue digging into your injuries as he watches you squirm with discomfort and tears in your eyes. Ayato is being careful enough to not injure you seriously but enough to make you fear him so that you will listen to him and enough to quench some of his lust for your blood. Passing time changes his heart slowly though and to his huge shame he finds himself growing a small soft spot for you. That's the last thing he wants, he doesn't want you to realize that you are a weak spot for him since he has a fear of you abusing his feelings for you for your own selfish purposes. Sometimes his love for you slips out though and instead of a harsh bite you expected from him you feel a rough kiss being placed on your skin, one that has him recoiling when he realizes what he's just done.

Nishio Nishiki

🎓Nishiki has some conflicted emotions regarding his obsession with you too because humans were the ones who took his older sister away from him by murdering her. He won't deny that he holds a grudge against your kind but he's more mature in handling this situation. He can't deny that your blood has him lusting for a taste of you too but he knows to wait a bit and to not act too impulsively. Most importantly is that he realizes that you might be targeted by other people of his kind thanks to your rare and sweet blood and the enticing scent you carry around with you. To prevent anyone from hurting and/or killing you to enjoy you as their next meal, he opts to worm his way into your life as quickly as possible in order to have a good eye on you all of the time and prevent anything from happening to you.

🎓There is a deep-rooted fear of Nishio to lose you too because he has lost the most precious person to him already with the death of his sister. Even if he doesn't show it, he is a tad bit paranoid to lose you as well now that you've grown on him so much. Perhaps this is why he turns into such a controlling individual around you and has set his mind to achieving a certain level of influence over you and your life. For that he uses his charm and his intelligence to get approval from your friends and your parents to have them put trust in his words and his judgement too if you shouldn't be as obedient and follow his decisions as he would like. In his mind, you just don't know any better though. You're only a human and differently from him, you've seen nothing. Nishio thinks of himself as better suited to make decisions involving your life.

🎓He can't help himself at times from stepping closer to you and taking a few deep sniffs of your smell. As good and experienced he may be in regards of his hunger, a few weak moments still happen from time to time. He keeps everything a secret from you as long as he can though, including why he always has to accompany you and why you aren't allowed to walk around alone at night. When the time comes for you to find out though, Nishiki actually uses it as a way to blackmail and manipulate you further. If it wouldn't have been for him, you would have been attacked multiple times already by a ghoul. The only reason why you're still alive today is because he protected you and fought for you against other ghouls who planned to ambush you. Don't you understand him? You need him.

Shuu Tsukiyama

🍷Tsukiyama is a self-proclaimed gourmet in the world of ghouls and one who wouldn't even shy away from cannibalism if it would present him with a new and unique flavor to explore and present to other ghouls. So when he one day just walks through the city and you just happen to pass him on the street, leaving a trail of your sweet scent behind you, he knows that he has found his next attraction, his next meal for him to taste and gush about. He doesn't just abduct you instantly though as he thinks of such a sudden act as bland, tasteless and beneath him. Instead it almost appears as if this young man is courting you at first with sweet words and lots of presents whilst simultanously having to swallow back his saliva by constantly being surrounded by your excellent and mouth-watering aroma.

🍷His obsession for your mere blood deepens during this time where the unknown eye just assumes that this flamboyant young man is just courting you. Your company is genuinely enjoyable and he soon starts thinking about you as more than just the next fantastic meal for him to discover and present to others. Your personality is adorable and sweet and he genuinely enjoys teasing you and making you a tad bit uncomfortable. This triggers the abduction though because Shuu is ridiculously jealous and possessive over you all of a sudden and even with romantic feelings now involved, Shuu is still a sadist. In one moment he can be sweet, clingy and doting and in the next moment he pins you down with a creepy grin on his face as he rips your shirt away from your body, sniffing your bare skin and letting his tongue glide across you before letting his teeth sink into your flesh, enjoying his taste of your sweet blood that he won't share with anyone else.

🍷By the time his father finds out about you and the way his son has treated you, your already covered in bite marks and scared for your life. Needless to say, you're rescued from Shuu and taken care of by the Tsukiyama household with Shuu strictly forbidden to see you. The man throws the biggest scene ever as he throws a temper tantrum, begs his father to let him see you again only to start crying when his father tells him harshly off and refuses to let his son see you until he has learnt how to treat the person he claims to love. Mirumo is utterly disappointed with the way his son has treated you, apologizes to you and promises you to never let such terrible things happen to you again. Shuu is kept for as long away from you until his father deems him to have learned his lesson, although even then Mirumo still is in the same room as you when Shuu can finally visit you again.

Uta

🎭You've stumbled by sheer chance into his store but find yourself staying for a while longer since you've never seen someone like Uta before. Uta, upon first meeting you, seems to realize that you are quite special too. He can tell as much from your scent that even makes his mouth water a bit but he hides it very well as he just starts chatting with you about random stuff now that you're here anyways. Initially he doesn't seem to care much for you, seems only interested to see how long you can manage to stay alive with that sweet blood of yours. As time piles on though and you continue to visit his shop since you find the owner of it so unique though, he has a chance of heart as he decides that you're too special to be killed. It would be a pity if he would lose his little muse because some ghouls couldn't control themselves now, wouldn't it?

🎭Uta is a bit more lazy so he wouldn't want to go on a killing spree or stalk you everyday if he can take other meassurements to ensure that no other ghoul touches. His occupation as a ghoul who crafts masks for a lot of ghouls is a small help as he always finds out about rumors and current events through his customers by sparking some conversation with them. If one of his customers happens to mention a human with very sweet blood, Uta automatically knows who he has to target if it should come down to it. All of his laziness aside though, Uta can be exceptionally cruel and sadistic if he should ever come to the point where he has to get rid of a threat. He takes your protection very serious so he would be damned if he would let someone else ever dare to touch you and take you away from him.

🎭You've grown accustomed to Uta's very quirky sides. He is just very weird so at one point you stop protesting when he sometimes leans closer to you and starts sniffing you like some sort of dog. Uta keeps his identity initially a secret from you too but eventually he just decides to tell you about what he is. Trying to escape is useless, he's locked the door up so you have nowhere to run. No reason to be so skittish though, he doesn't plan to kill you. He'd just like you to be his, his sweet muse. If you do as he says, he'd even let you leave again. If you tell anyone though or try to run away, he will come for you and he will find you. Uta is quite chill most of the time but he has his short sadistic moments where he just decides that a small taste won't hurt and so you can only sob silently as teeth cut through your skin to taste your blood only to have him afterwards hush and comfort you through your pain.

Haise Sasaki

🔳Sasaki is more responsible and mature although also painfully good-willed to the point where he might appear as a tad bit naive. He isn't aware who he used to be in his past though so perhaps that's why he can be the way he is. He works to protect people against ghouls so his darling falls into the category of people he has sworn to protect. Yet something about their scent is quite enticing and sweet even for him but he would never admit that. He knows that it would sound very creepy to others and he himself recoils out of shame and embarrassment whenever he gets a bit too lost in the scent of yours. Instead he hides all of his thoughts and just acts around you like he acts around everyone else. A bit more reserved but still very polite. Maybe just a tad bit kinder to make up for thinking about you in such unsettling ways, even if you don't know about that.

🔳Perhaps his willingness to be nicer around you to make himself feel better about his thoughts regarding your scent are what really starts his obsession as he spends more time with you. Partially to still do everything to make himself feel less guilty and partially because he is capable of realizing that every other ghoul would come after you for your sweet blood. Because he spends such an abundance of time with you, he really starts getting to know you and even starts developing feelings for you. You're kind and adorable and some part of him just wants to protect you from this cruel world that will rip you away from him and- He doesn't even know where those dark and intrusive thoughts come from but he knows that he has to push his growing feelings away as such creepy ideas start infiltrating your mind and he finds himself sometimes thinking of just locking you away and shielding you from all evil in this world.

🔳He knows that he already spends a lot of time with you but somehow this doesn't seem to be enough. He wants to be even more with you but in order to not be seen as too clingy, he starts stalking you. It is embarrassing and shameful but he really can't help himself. He just has to protect you and a small voice in his head always reminds him that something could happen to you whilst he is gone and fuels his paranoia a bit. When you hug him, a part of him really just wants to hold you and never let you go so that he can get lost in your sweet aroma but he holds himself back from doing so, although his body starts slightly trembling as this takes a lot of his self-control. He does his best to hold himself back as good as he can but it's undeniable that some part inside of him, someone else inside of him, just wants to lock you away, keep you and murder everyone who would dare to touch a single strand on your head the wrong way.

Your hand shook as you pointed the tip of quinque to your other wrist. You didn’t know what possessed you to grab it after a heated battle with some investigators in the past, but you understood its function now.

After all, what was the point of living when you couldn’t be with the person you loved?

Gritting your teeth, you clenched the shard and tried to pierce the skin. You needed to do it quickly, swiftly, because otherwise it’d regenerate and you had to gather another painful wave of courage.

But you couldn’t do it, no matter how hard you tried. It wasn’t that easy to kill yourself as you did to other people. It wasn’t that easy to slice your own skin the same way you sliced people’s flesh. It wasn’t that easy to watch the blood flow from your body the same way you saw people bled to death.

It wasn’t that easy, and that was why it sucked, knowing that you had to live another day of pure loneliness and envy. It sucked knowing that your childhood crush had moved on from you and created his own family, although you never once confessed to him.

Still, would it be too much to ask for him to notice you? Just for once?

And the answer was yes. Yes, it was too much to ask because he, just like you, was shy and would rather hide his feelings from discerning eyes. If confronted, he’d probably beat around the bush instead. That served to prove just how kind he was in dealing with feelings. Kind, not honest.

Then again, he’d never loved you, hadn’t he?

Bowing, you tossed the shard away and hid your tear-stained face under your hands. It was useless, you couldn’t do it. You could never do it. What was the point in trying something when you knew you’d fail anyway? The survival instinct was too great for you to curb, and there was still a small part of you that hoped maybe it wasn’t too late. Maybe you could still fix some things to make him see your true, unadulterated feelings. Maybe you could even turn his attention towards you and forget that woman.

The time seemed to slow as a malevolent smile slowly cracked and shattered your defeated mien. Yes, you could do that. You were a ghoul, after all. You were no longer the same fragile human who relied on other people to handle your problems and protect you. You were different now; stronger and tougher. You were certain you could take his wife down. If your memory served you right, ukaku was weak against koukaku.

Fortunately, your target was the only one in the house.

Kicking the door down, you scanned the room for her existence. You didn’t have to wait long, however, because Touka soon appeared with her kakugan activated.

“Who are you?!” she snarled, body tensed in a flight or fight mode.

You didn’t answer and opted to smirk instead. “So, this is the King’s wife, huh? Quite pretty, might I say.” Your smirk widened in response to her colder glare. “I’m afraid you won’t be able to live any longer, though.”

“What the hell do you mean–?”

Touka promptly dodged your thrust, but not quick enough to avoid a small scratch on her cheek. Hissing, she manifested her ukaku and started shooting spike-like projectiles in your direction. You smiled and leaped backward, essentially bringing the fight outside. There weren’t any people in the neighborhood, strangely enough, but it was good. Nobody would become collateral damage, and you hated dragging the innocents to your battles.

Large cracks and crystallized kagune deformed the once smooth ground and busted the neighboring houses. It was obvious the longer you both fought, the more exhausted you seemed. And yet, you persisted and kept attempting to stab her to no avail. Her agile movements and light kagune ensured she evaded your strikes easily. Have you been underestimating her or have you been weakening?

It couldn’t be it… right? You’d worked your way to become an S rank ghoul, and you’d devoured ghouls before. Your hands had been repeatedly stained by the death of investigators and ghouls alike. You’d spent days and nights training relentlessly so you wouldn’t have to depend on anyone else again.

No, it wasn’t because you were weak or anything embarrassing like that. It was because–

“Touka-chan!”

– She was his wife.

Kaneki rushed to her aid while you landed a few meters away from them, watching the way he examined her body for any sign of injury. And her daughter, sweet little Ichika that you only saw from the pictures your association had given you, fussed over her well-being. She finally noticed your reticent being, and that was when you realized just how… similar she looked to him. Same hair color, same innocent face, same large eyes.

She resembled Kaneki so much it physically hurt you to see her any longer.

“[N-Name]-chan? Is that… is that you?” Your melancholic eyes glided to his dilated ones, a hand clutching your constricting chest. Kaneki gaped at your disheveled state, and you wondered if there was anything positive behind that expression. If he was happy to meet you again as you’d always imagined.

He probably didn’t, the pessimistic voice within you said. Who would be happy to see their old friend harming their lover? Shoulders slumped, you lowered your gaze sadly once the consequences of your rash actions sunk in. Did he hate you now? Was he going to avenge her now?

Was he going to hurt you like he always did with his obliviousness?

There was no answer to that. You didn’t allow yourself the closure you so desperately needed because you immediately spun and fled. Tears flowed from your eyes as you jumped from one building to another, unaware of the hand that yearned to touch you again.
