↘ He instantly smells your delicious blood and almost cries at the sight of the knife covered in red liquid and the onions that were supposed to be part of your disgusting human dinner.

↘ He’s trying hard not to eat your tender, sweet flesh, but after a short breath, he finds a first aid kit and then scolds you from top to bottom. His touch is tender, even though you are well aware that Shuu is holding back all his senses from killing and eating you. He’s a simple man, a bloodthirsty ghoul, so don’t be shocked. Of course he won’t hurt you, but... you never know.

↘ After applying the bandage, he’ll probably lick his fingers to taste your blood, and he feels as if he’s reached the highest level of ecstasy.

↘ Your blood tastes like the sweetest chocolate, the ripest peach, the best wine, like coffee from the most expensive beans. He almost faints at the thought of you being filled with this dark ruby and delicious ambrosia.

↘ “... Thank you for your help, Shuu-kun.” You smile slightly, touching his arm with your hand. The man just nods, kissing your forehead, then disappears from your view as he enters the bathroom to take a cool shower and calm his farious thoughts.

↘ Black Reaper doesn’t show affection to others, unless we are talking about his beloved partner. Then it’s completely different, still dangerous and uncertain, but with you, Kaneki takes off the mask of a dark, vulgar and cruel ghoul.

↘ “May I come in?” He asks softly as your small apartment starts to smell of your sweet like honey blood. Ken tightens his fingers on the doorknob and then enters the room as soon as you let him. One drop of blood escapes from your index finger. You cut yourself with a piece of paper while writing an essay. You look uncertainly at the black-haired man, but you don’t see any negative lust in his eyes. On the contrary, Ken looks worried. “Everything’s all right, love?”

↘ You reply that it’s just a scratch and that you’re fine. Your boyfriend offers you a bandage though, and you smile at him, lightly pressing his body against yours.

↘ “Thank you.” You reply quietly, and he only wonders why. That he didn’t kill you? That he didn’t tear your body in half? That you’re still alive? “... Thank you for being there for me.” His eyes close and he snuggles tighter against your weak, human body.

↘ Touka is calm and the first thing she will think of is hydrogen peroxide and bandage. She’s not interested in your body, though of course your blood smells like a field of orchids and poppies. This fragrance evokes sentimental memories in her mind.

↘ She examines your wound with the greatest tenderness, and then, equally calmly and without haste, cleans it of any dirt and puts on a professional lint. Her gaze expresses many emotions, none of which are related to her ghoul nature.

↘ “Better now, Y/N?” Dark-haired girl asks calmly, while her hand squeezing yours. You nod your head a bit in response to her brief question and she smiles softly. “Would you like some coffee?” She asks another question, and you nod once more, thanking her for help.

↘ Tonight was full of tenderness and assurances that Touka would never hurt you.

↘ He behaves similarly to Tsukiyama, maybe even worse. The sight of your blood is like a lighter to spilled gasoline. She can’t control herself and runs away as far as possible so as not to hurt you. After all, you are her beloved lover, her little treasure. She can’t afford such a disgusting moment of frailty.

↘ You bandage yourself and expect her return, even though you know it may take several days.

↘ Rize is disgustingly weak when it comes to you; after all you are her greatest drug and probably if she only tasted a drop of your blood or was in the same room with you for a bit longer, she would definitely throw herself at you.

↘ The relationship with her is quite dangerous, but you feel happy with her. Maybe it’s stupid and life threatening, but you really can’t imagine your own life without this beautiful and graceful woman.

↘ He snorts with laughter when your apartment starts to smell like blood. When he enters the bathroom, he sees that you’ve cut yourself shaving and a few drops of blood run down your still wet skin.

↘ “If a razor beats you that much, then seriously consider my proposal to turn you into a ghoul, kitten.” The sarcasm in his voice is strong and you just roll your eyes. You quickly wash the wounds with a cotton swab and water, then find the plaster.

↘ “You know very well that I am the biggest enjoyer of fried rice with vegetables and lasagna. There is no way I will give up these human goods to eat human flesh.” You grimaced at the thought, which made the black-haired man laugh lightly one more time. “You should help me instead of laughing, dumb boy.”

↘ “Hmm... Nope, nah.” He waved at you and then went back to watching TV, calmly waiting for you to come over and lie down next to him.

↘ He cares a lot about you; you are the most important person in his life, so the sight of your tear-stained face and chafes on your knees from falling down the stairs is a hard sight for him.

↘ So he takes you into his arms and leads you to the bedroom, where he treats your wounds with the greatest precision with disinfectant spray and bruise ointment. He talks to you a lot during this moment, almost forgetting that he is a ghoul. For sure, a few years ago he would have jumped on you without much thought, just to end your suffering.

↘ Afterwards, he smiles slightly and offers to order you something good to eat to make you feel better. You’ll agree, although you’re asking for a moment of tenderness and a few kisses.

🖤He loves you a whole lot and I say this because he doesn’t keep a girlfriend so that’s why you’re special. Normally Uta will just sleep around or have one-night stands. He won’t go through a relationship, the closet he’s had is friends with benefits but no actual dates or care.

🖤So when he realized he had feelings for you he thought about actually pursuing you, which means he liked you for a long time before asking. So it took him forever, like years, to ask you. Well he didn’t even ask you. He took things slow he didn’t just take you to the bed. He waited to get to something like that because again he actually liked you!

🖤Anyways, Uta doesn’t appear to be affectionate but he’s actually very affectionate (in a needy way) and sexual with you 😂. Its just mostly behind close doors. And he is such a fool for you.

🖤“Shut up.” You’d say, your hands covering your face. Given how you reacted and how Uta was a sucker for your tears he felt guilty that he made his girl cry, or so he thought. He tends to forget that you love to joke around a lot yourself.

🖤Hearing your little sobs he felt guilty, “Hey, c’mon, I’m sorry baby.” He’d admit taking your hands away from your face only to see you smile and laugh.

🖤“Got you!” You’d laugh, only to make him smirk, “You’re such a liar.” He’d tease before chasing after you around your shared apartment.

🖤You share an apartment, he first gave you the key to his place and the more you spent time together he wanted to move to where you wanted to. But it took a while to convince you to move to the city with him. He’d ask you every day to move in with him.

🖤You are probably an artist yourself so your whole apartment is a studio and has many aesthetic and edgy things.

🖤He’d give you one look of disapproval before saying, “Get in the car, Y/n.” He’d place his hands on your shoulders and turn you to the direction of the car before opening the door and nudging you to get inside.

🖤“Seriously? I’m fine.”

🖤“You have to understand something, my girl is my responsibility.” he'd argue.

🖤Speaking of which when he gets jealous, he gets jealous!

🖤He will act very calm with you but between him and other guy he becomes a completely different person. When he’s jealous he asks a lot of questions which even leads him to sound a little snarky which catches your attention. Although he will be very quiet if he's not asking you questions.

🖤You question if things are okay but he brushes it off. As your lover he usually tries to gain reassurance through affection. He sometimes fights with you about this but it's not always.

🖤It's not pretty when you both fight, well, he may seem like a good boyfriend, but your relationship can be abusive. Especially if the two of you are ghouls, abuse is different than the way humans would see it. Either one, ghoul relationships tend to have toxicity. I won't dive deep into this but I think that there are forms of abuse that ghouls may revert to even with their partners, this doesn't have to mean physical, even verbal abuse because again, they are not human. They do not have the same mentality as human beings. If his partner is human its very likely that she has felt abused or mistreated once or twice, if not more in their relationship just by what has said.

🖤For instance, in a really bad argument, he may revert to a threat such as "eating her" when he first met her instead of keeping her around.

🖤If she's a half-breed he'd make harsh comments about her upbringing and if she was a ghoul just like him he'd tell her to not be so soft.

🖤Though he doesn't show his barsh nature to you (he hardly does) if he ever is angry enough, he might. This once led you to call him a monster because he wasn't the same person you had come to know.

🖤He will try to apologize to you after some deep thought, but it takes forever for you to just get to that step with him. There have been numerous times when you've cried yourself to sleep or ignored him for weeks. There are many relapses in this relationship because he is hard to love.

🖤Aside from this, he would do anything for the girl he loves. He's practically blind for her.

Im reading the tokyo ghoul and tokyo ghoul:re manga rn and i feel like I've been slap in the face for the different between the anime and manga is. Juuzou is my favorite character and u write him so freaking well 🤧. Since ur ask rn now is open can I request the differences of white and black hair Juuzou act if he has a crush. Especially if his crush is like a popular ccg scientist?

His idea of a “crush” would, at this point, probably be someone he just enjoys spending time with for multitude of reasons, whether that be shared interests or sense of trust created by personality.

He would genuinely be curious in your work, satisfied by sitting by and watching you work with unknown to him fluids and objects - whilst many people would find it gross, this is one of the only things that keeps him quiet and concentrated from destruction. Shinohara trusts you to keep him interested.

You’d have to be patient with him, since he just might ‘borrow’ or prod and poke at things you need to use, or things that should not be touched with bare hands. A calm and patient explanation will surprisingly be enough - he won’t rebel against you, seeing you as a friend.

He would love you in his own way, and it would be more genuine than anybody else’s, however it’s far from romantic. Juuzou’s current idea of love is stealing donuts from the main office and sharing them with you, talking to you about giraffes or sitting in the corner of your office, observing your work.

Physical touch would be pretty much off the table, except light things like pat on the shoulders or head. He would initiate contact such as poking you to get reactions, however, and finds it rather amusing. Did you see your face just then? You should’ve!

He might lose patience with others scientists working under you, Juuzou knows you’re good at your job but is everyone else incompetent? Why do they always disturb you when you work?

Would really like it if you tried to involve him in your work, and would happily cooperate with you! Juuzou would enjoy feeling useful and like he can do something right, your praise means the world to him even if he doesn’t fully understand why.

Now that he has a handle on his emotions he can grip, he will happily label it as a crush and will openly express it if asked. After all, why hide the obvious?

Whenever he admits his feelings to you or not depends on your situation, if you’re already dating someone he won’t fall apart about it, and will wish you well, satisfied to be around you even as just a friend. If you’re free and opportunity arises he will take a jab at it.

Will be more open to physical contact towards you, knowing you for a long time. Juuzou will accept hugs, side hugs and any combination of handshakes you come up with. He feels comfortable with you.

Still admires and is inherently interested in your job, after all you’re very important and your works are incredible. However, he’s more understanding towards your underlings and encourages people to look up to you.

Still steals donuts from the main office for you - that will never change.

Even if you’re both busy he will make time for you. Juuzou still enjoys going to the zoo or just going for walks around the city at night, to watch street lamps. Who knows, he might even grab your hand and give your his well-known free-spirited smile.

certainly i do!!

• she has nightmares about the washuus finding her, even to this day. back when she was young and living with shachi, she would frequently awake screaming from these nightmares. she'd shake and sob, and shachi would hold onto her until she cried herself into an exhaustive state and fell back asleep. i think he would frequently have to sit with her as a child as she fell asleep, holding her hand, just to assure her everything was okay. the nightmares have become less like night terrors but they still have her waking up drenched in sweat.

• she loves scented candles, and prefers to light those instead of having the lights in her apartment on. rize only gets floral scents, of course. any food scented ones would be entirely too nauseating. her favorite scent is jasmine. she wears a specific jasmine perfume everyday too. she's been using the same kind for years now, jasmine is her signature scent.

• i see rize as a cis woman, who typically uses she/her pronouns but wouldn't be offended by any usage of they/them. she's also a femme lesbian to me. it's never been any question to her that she was a lesbian, i think that she's literally never felt any semblance of true attraction to men. she loves leading them on to psychologically hurt them though, when she's not doing so to kill and eat them. it's like a game for her- how pathetic she can make a man act to try and impress her, knowing she'll never ever reciprocate.

• i've had this headcanon for a long time, but i really don't think she kills women. now, she's no human sympathizer, but there's something about killing or hurting women that just is distasteful to her. rize would NEVER admit to this but i think that she avoids killing women because she understands what it's like to be a woman who is being hunted, and it's just not something she'd be willing to inflict on another woman, human or ghoul. though, i think she has fought with fellow ghoul women before, as she knows they're more durable, but she's never killed them.

• there was a period of her life in which she kept her fingernails very long and very sharp. this was because she found it pleasurable to reach out and suddenly slash men's throats when they least expected it. i think that she ditched this style of nail though because she got tired of having to clean out the dried up blood underneath them! rize misses them at times but wouldn't ever try to get them back.

• she is a very popular book reviewer online! i think she has this whole anonymous blog dedicated to it lol. it's grown quite a fanbase over the course of a few years. everyone eagerly awaits her next review, and gives her suggestions for new books to read and review too. it's something that keeps her sane. she does Q&As on her blog too! her fans are always more than happy to participate.

• rize has a very well-loved stuffed rabbit that shachi gave to her as a girl. she's had to replace the bow around its neck since she got it, but it's still in good shape. it sits on a special shelf in her bedroom, along with a semi-weathered picture of her and shachi and a dried rose. the rabbit is white and named yuki. the ribbon around its neck is baby pink with white lace on the ends.

• rize a very good dancer in my eyes. it's like she has a really natural sense of rhythm. her moves are so lithe. her hips sway smoothly, as smooth as water in a stream. it's utterly entrancing to watch her dance, i believe. she's just so good at it. mayu in particular could watch her for hours.

• it is a rare occasion in which you will see rize in pants. the flowiness of a skirt or a dress is just what makes her most comfortable. i don't even think she really owns pants, minus a pair of sweatpants or two. you'll only see her in these sweatpants if she's feeling under the weather and having a sick day at home. otherwise, to lounge around, she prefers to wear a silk nightgown or a big t-shirt and a pair of panties.

• she's very crafty with the ways in which she styles her hair sometimes. i think she taught herself all sorts of braiding techniques, and she loves to do her hair in different updos and braids. most of the time it's just down, but she likes to spice it up with an updo/braid at times! at least three or four times a month.

Kaneki’s Group Halloween Headcanon Time

☆ Everyone in the group is invited for Trick or Treating! Except maybe Shuu, but he inserts himself anyway and nobody tells him to leave

☆ Kaneki’s favourite part is seeing how many ghouls give candy to the human kids, and then real eyes and fingers to the ghoul children while trick or treating. At first he felt bad about “intruding” on a human event until he realized it was a perfect holiday for ghouls

☆ The gas masks are all about trading after trick or treating. By the end, Jiro has enough eyeballs for a biblically accurate angel, Ichimi can make his section of the room ghost-themed and Sante could replicate their boss’s torture bucket

☆ Banjou likes giving “tricks” to kids while trick or treating. Every time they walk past a large group of children together, he’ll try doing some card tricks for them that he spent a few hours practicing with Kaneki. Some kids love it, some think he’s scary, one kid started mocking him for being 25 and fumbling with cards on the street and it really hurt his feelings

☆ Shuu loves the costuming aspect of it! Every year as a child he always had the most extravagant costume, and as an adult he is no different. He spends time tailoring outfits for himself and specifically Kaneki and Hinami. This year, he dresses himself as a vampire (always one of his favorites) and Hina and Kaneki as an angel and demon. THEY LOOK VERY PRETTY.

☆ After trick or treating, Hinami asks Shuu what to do with the candy. He decides to show her some cool recipes, like flowers made from melted hard candy and mousse with a chocolate swirl lid. They decide to donate the treats to Anteiku and Hinami learns to make some cool art with her candy!

Eto

Obviously the DM, but is the type to have a carefully constructed plot that plays into each characters backstory just so that she can get more of an emotional response from the players. Is a massive fan of doing this to kaneki because he's so dramatic when he plays. The one eyed owl is Eto's self insert character because she got really bored of them fucking about and not following the plot. So like any good DM she tried to kill them off until they did.

Kaneki

Fudges half his roles but no one really cares because he's always trying to do the coolest shit. Etos favourite by far because he really leans into the style of the campaign. (See breaking half of Ayatos bones, he actually rolled shit on medicine but she let him have it anyway because it was such a fitting thing to do) Kaneki actually died at the end of the first campaign, so in the following campaign set a few years after he had to make a new character (Haise) and everyone immediately knew that he was just kaneki 2.0 with basically zero change. So Eto just gave in after a while and let him bring kaneki back.

This is basically the last straw for him, like he will not go and be with someone else.

In fact, he might just be mad for a while but still stay with you because he loves you that much he just wants to start over.

Taki would be very hurt deep down and even if he took you back things would be different.

He wouldn't be able to treat you the same after everything.

He still loves you but it hurts to know that you don't love him the same.

Juuzou likes that Hanbee is fun, but also feels like an equal. Unlike the other people in his life who’ve treated him either as a pet to be owned or a child to be condescended to, Hanbee treats him like he’d treat anyone else and still finds him fun. Hanbee likes that Juuzou is so different from himself. He has the kind of courage and disregard for social niceties that lets him be free in his eyes, and he likes being a part of that

20. How do they comfort each other when one of them is upset? Is this method of comfort effective?

When Juuzou is upset it’s easy enough to handle. Hanbee provides snacks and some target to stab at and that’s perfect. When Hanbee is upset Juuzou doesn’t know what to do, he rarely even notices and just doesn’t understand how to empathize with it. He usually doesn’t do anything and eventually Hanbee just stops being upset, but Hanbee understands that Suzuya is like this and knew what he was getting into. He knew not to expect much empathy, so when Juuzou began occasionally noticing when he’s unhappy and bringing him food the way he usually does for him, it meant a lot

29. Describe their nighttime routine.

Hanbee texts Juuzou tomorrows itinerary for work and to wish him goodnight, then goes to sleep at a reasonable hour. Juuzou is outside wandering streets and alleyways like a feral dog and it is unclear if he plans to go home to sleep or curl up on the ledge if a building. I guess it depends on how he’s feeling

Neither of them drink and it’s for the best. Juuzou doesn’t like the taste and Hanbee doesn’t like the feeling, and it’s good because they’re both absolute lightweights who are utterly useless when drunk. Hanbee blacks out extremely fast and Juuzou tries and fails to climb a tree

39. When and how did they admit that they loved each other? If they haven’t yet, why?

Hanbee waited until they were dating for quite awhile and had been through a lot together before meekly and carefully telling Juuzou he loved him. Juuzou, unaware that they were dating, said “oh cool!” Then resumed talking about vivisection. It wasn’t until two weeks later when he told Shinohara about it that he was informed that Hanbee apparently thinks they are together and he should either tell him they aren’t or get on board with it, so Juuzou decided he liked him and returned it

Kaneki has a very nice puffy jacket with a fluffy hood! It keeps him very warm!

Kaneki loves to wander off! Never go shopping with this boy! He doesn’t do it on purpose, it just doesn’t occur to him that people would look for him

If you taught him to crochet, he’d crochet all day! He’d love the stimmy repetition and softness of the wool!

Kaneki enjoys rice paper wraps with prawn and peanut sauce!

One time he hit someone in the face very hard with insect repellent, but the can got busted and the gas went straight to his face! Thank god he was wearing a mask

Kaneki doesn’t really like fire. Sure, a little is fine because people get scared of it, however, he is also a bit scared of the fire, and he hates how bright it gets

Hide once gave him some worcestershire sauce in a glass and told him it was pepsi and he drank it and fell on the floor

Kaneki is a huge fan of farming in minecraft!

Kaneki thinks axolotls are awesome but also pretty weird. He’s done research on how to look after them, and decided it wasn’t really worth it, which he brings up every time anyone talks about axolotls

Kaneki likes to hibernate through his problems! When he quit being a gang leader to go back to Anteiku, he spent a lot of time sleeping to avoid thinking about things, even though he decided to use this time to find himself. Maybe he doesn’t really want to find himself after all he’s done?

Kaneki is a huge fan of M’n’Ms. He loves the small ones. He tries to restrain himself when he’s around others though

He talks a bit like a book character sometimes, which can be a little cringey on occasions, but he’ll also say really profound things completely on accident that change the vibe of the entire scenario

If you took him to Belle’s library from Beauty And The Beast, his jaw would drop and he’d start running excitedly around the library, admiring all of the collections. This is true regardless of which Kaneki you bring. The only exception is #240, who seems very stiff and unsure but is excited nonetheless and will look through the books with you if you coax him a little

Kaneki really likes things to be clean, Shironeki especially. He uses a lot of water washing all the clothes 3 times a week and all the sheets once a week, but it’s worth it to him to feel clean (“Doesn’t it smell nice? Tsukiyama pays for it anyway.”)

Every Kaneki hugs his pillow while sleeping. He’s not really aware of it

Haise is the only Kaneki who accepts hugs from other people

Black Reaper has a comically fancy case for his glasses, and whenever people comment on it he acts as if they were merely jealous. This is very funny to him somehow. It has his full name and everything, even a fake middle name written in gold

Shironeki doesn’t laugh at anyone’s jokes except his own. Sometimes he bursts out laughing randomly because he had a funny thought, but when someone asks it’s either something completely fucked or the most unfunny dad joke/pun to come out of someone’s mouth (usually the latter). Kuroneki and Haise laugh at everyone’s jokes to be polite. Reaperneki stares and then fake laughs in an obvious way, with his eyes open

Shironeki gets embarrassed about how small he is. On one hand it’s useful to look so delicate since it catches people off guard, but on the other he sometimes wishes he could look as scary as he wants to be. He feels a guilty pride when Banjou says he terrifies him regardless

Kaneki is actually a very pretty boy! He just has shit fashion, doesn’t eat or sleep in a healthy way ever, and a lot of people think he’s kinda weird when meeting him, so he doesn’t look as great as he could. If we fixed up his diet and sleep schedule (Shuu solves his fashion issue) he’s actually a cutie patootie! Idk what we’d do about him being weird though

Kaneki is a soggy lad in more ways than one! This man loves playing in the water. Forest adventure with the ghoulie? He’s going in the creek. You beg him not to, you beg him to stay, but in the end there’s nothing to stop him from leaving - he pads quietly towards the running water. Determined to try. He’s stripping away his shoes and socks, your pleads not reaching him. At first shocked by the cold, but willing to reattempt.

The vibrant moss springs back to its original position as his feet dip fully into the water. “It’s cold in here” “I JUST SAID NOT TO GET INTO THE WATER YOU’RE NOT MEANT TO BE THERE” “It’s kinda nice” “YOU COULD SLIP AND GET WET” “Uhuh. You should try this too, you can feel the water flowing around your legs. It’s so chilly”

He does fall on his ass actually and his butt is wet for the rest of the walk. Only reason he’s not taking off his jacket and shirt to swim too is the fact that someone is with him and he doesn’t want to hold them up for more than 5 minutes

Kaneki has a car but he’s still on his P-plate
