Snippet
Making breakfast was his thing and god forbid you so much as make your own tea in the morning. Earl Grey was both of your tea of choice, Simon took his with cream and you took yours with milk. Breakfast has always been a domestic affair ever since you moved out of Manchester. The countryside was much nicer and Simon was often able to work at home. When the weather allowed for it Simon would work outside with you whilst you tended to the garden. You grew many things in the garden, it was rewarding when you picked fruits and vegetables that you grew yourself and Simon said that they taste better because of the love put into growing them.

IDEA: Desmond gets turned into a creature of your choosing, just has to be able to “write”. And yknow how we always go with the ‘his writing becomes illegible’ thing? What if all of his writing is unreadable except the word “Desmond”. Drop him in with Ezio and watch the chaos unfold.
I was thinking what creature we should go for and my brain just went ‘screw it, go with Slime Desmond so we don’t have to think if the creature can actually use a quill or if he’s using his hands to write’.
Then my next thought was “Wouldn’t it be funny if Desmond could write ‘Desmond’ but he can only write it in a specific language that Ezio doesn’t know? Like… the Isu script?” but you know what would be funnier?
Desmond had always been an intelligent creature.
He used his strange body structure to make creative shapes that Ezio would be able to decipher and understand. He was the best scout and planning partner to have.
His uncle believes Desmond was a descendant of the slime ‘companion’ the legendary Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad supposed had.
If he was, Ezio could see why everyone believed Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad was the best mentor the Brotherhood ever had.
Desmond made everything so easy that Ezio knew he needed to not depend on him too much. He needed to be able to stay on his own feet. To show that he was a formidable Assassin in his own rights.
That was why he asked Desmond to stay in Monteriggioni while he went to the Vatican to finally confront Rodrigo Borgia.
He focused on the safety of his family, knowing it was Desmond’s soft spot.
And it worked.
Desmond stayed and Ezio went to Rome alone.
And then he heard Minerva’s message.
‘Desmond’.
She specifically said Desmond’s name.
Desmond wasn’t a usual name and…
It was the only ‘word’ Desmond could write.
So when he returned to Monteriggioni, he briskly walked towards Desmond and crouched in front of him. Desmond’s entire body seemed to be vibrating slightly and Ezio pointed at him as he asked in an almost panicky tone, “Desmond?”
Desmond created too slimey appendages and pointed at himself, waving the tentacle-like appendages furiously.
“Desmond!” Ezio repeated and Desmond began to vibrate more noticeably.
“Desmond!” Ezio said cheerfully and Desmond started bouncing in front of him in pure joy.
“Why is my brother repeating Desmond’s name?” Claudia whispered from behind them, looking both confused and tired already.
“I’m not entirely sure…” Mario answered as he rubbed his chin.
“Ah, of course!” Ezio grabbed Desmond midbounce and held him in his arms before turning to face his family and allies. He recounted Minerva’s message and what he had seen, making his allies wear different expressions on their faces.
When he got to the part where Minerva specifically said Desmond’s name, Mario’s eyes widened as he asked, “Nipote, are you saying…”
“Yes.” Ezio raised Desmond to his eye-level as he proclaimed…
“Desmond is a messenger like Minerva! He keeps writing the name Desmond because he is looking for him!”
Desmond’s happy vibrations immediately stopped and then…
WHACK.
A tentacle appendage suddenly appeared from Desmond’s body and smacked Ezio behind the head, making the Assassin yelp in surprise and let go of Desmond.
Desmond quickly hopped away from them and went straight for the secret door that would lead to the Sanctuary below.
“What? What did I do? Was it supposed to be a secret, Desmond?!” Ezio followed the slime, already knowing it would be sulking behind the statue of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad.
… leaving his family and allies back in the office who stared at the secret entrance.
“…………. well… who’s going to tell him that Desmond is angry because the obvious answer was he’s the Desmond in the message?”
“I will respectfully decline. For one, I don’t want to argue with Ezio about how that idea is foolish as this Desmond is meant to be alive centuries from now to save the world.”
“O dio mio, does that mean our Desmond used to be Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad’s Desmond?! Is Desmond immortal???”
“I’m going to bed. Wake me up once my brother stops being stupid.”

Eng 101 Introduction
Hi, I’m Tim. I am a Freshman Film/Digital Media major. In my free time, I play a lot of video games, and watch a lot of movies. I would say that I am a pretty creative person. I can write essays and stuff, but I much prefer creative writing. In High School I was in a sketch comedy club, where I wrote many strange sketches. Since I’ve been here at ISU I have been involved in the weekly open mic night, “Theater of Ted” I do stand up there.

Blog Post 1
My name is Amber, I am going into my second semester here at ISU and I have yet to make any close friends. This semester I aspire to reach out and make friends. I’m not antisocial or unapproachable. I’m just extremely introverted and find peace in being alone. But last semester taught me that you need to have friends in your life, and there has to be balance. So, in my spare time, because I’m not hanging out with many friends, I love to write in my journal. I enjoy having a space where I can just let out anything that’s on my mind. I do not like following a format or writing about a specific topic, writing for me is just an expression of what’s going on in my head and it’s a safe space to be creative.  In this course at ISU, I hope to get over my fear of people judging my writing. Writing is a very personal thing for me, and I need to get over the fear of judgment and accept myself.

ASTRO OBSERVATIONS

.⋆。⋆☂˚。⋆。˚☽˚。⋆.Disclaimer, these are observations I’ve gathered overtime. It may or may not resonate. This is just for fun. .⋆。⋆☂˚。⋆。˚☽˚。⋆.
Do not repost plagiarize reword.
☽ I’ve noticed a lot of people with Sagittarius Prominent in their chart have bullied people (Underdeveloped) . When Sagittarius energy is underdeveloped in the chart it can cause the native to say harsh words and it can lead as bullying others.
☽ I’ve noticed with people who have Cancer Rising or Cancer prominent in their chart tend to have more of a light browner hair with pale skin? I’ve noticed this for a while now. And the women tend to be more curvier with more weight as well.
☽ Pisces Risings usually feel like old souls this can result in them maturing too fast & having older friends.
☽ People with Lillith in 8th tend to obsess over lovers to the point they may feel as they will die without them. People feel this way about them as well.
☽ I’ve noticed Virgos tend to be able to guess someone’s zodiac or placements very accurately as they tend to analyze the person’s behaivor a lot.
☽ When Saturn is in a karmic house you may feel as your life is usually filled with karmic experiences you can’t escape from. (The Fourth, Eighth and Twelfth House)
☽ Saturn in 4th can indicate a karmic family. You and your family may have to deal with some karma this lifetime.
☽ I’ve noticed Leo Venuses tend to be a little awkward at flirting at first when they like someone but out of nowhere they can be very bold because fuck it.
☽ Moon in 8th indicates a mother who may have lived a double life or extremely vague about her childhood.
☽ I’ve noticed Scorpio Placements don’t give up easily when it comes to crushes. They keep trying until they have the validation they want. This is because of their obsessive nature.
☽ Scorpio Mercuries may have to learn to not be so honest as they have no filter and can indeed say very harsh things that really did not mean to be said.
☽ Virgo Mercuries probably don’t get a lot of dreams. Or any Virgo Major placement.
☽ Chiron in 12th can indicate a fear of using your intuitive abilities because you’re scared of being hurt and of knowing the answers and etc.
☽ Moon in 5th can indicate a mother who could’ve been very artistic or pushed the child to embrace their artistic loving side. The mother could be very talented artistically/ have creative talents.
☽ This is very general but unfortunately true, every Libra placement I’ve met really is a people pleaser. You need to learn how to set boundaries.
☽ Pluto in 2nd can indicate some trauma with things going away from them. Native could’ve been taught that if they do something bad something will be taken away from them for example as disclipine an authority figure could’ve taken away some priviliges. This could result in abandoment isues.
☽ Lacking a certain element/sign may make you really love that sign/element. Example; You lack Taurus? You may love taurus placements.
☽ The people you usually have very loving & fun connections with tend to have the same element of your venus sign or the sign in general in their big three.  I’ve noticed this a bunch. Example; Venus in Taurus.>  My best friend has Moon in Taurus/Virgo/Capricorn.
☽ Mars in Gemini probably types really fast. Also during the Mars in Gemini Transit you may find yourself typing faster than usual or writing.
☽ Lillith in Karmic houses could indicate karmic experiences within impulsiveness & raw sexuality.  Karmic experiences with your darker subconscious side.
☽ Mars in Virgo may be extremely dominant in bed and may want to have all control over their partner in a way their partner enjoys it.
☽ Mars Opposite Ascendant synatsry indicates a lot off attractionnnnnn.
☽ Moon in 4th natives tend to love little things. They may take on a motherly role to their plushies, crystals, etc. They love to nurture things. You may catch them with a teddy bear treating it like a whole real baby.
☽ You may get confused for your Midheaven sign or the opposite of your Midheaven sign online.
☽ Mars in a fire sign tend to get jealous pretty easily. They won’t ever admit this though.
☽ Saturn aspecting Chiron in a negative way could indicate ruthless authorities who control the native.
☽ Tenth house Stelliums may find themselves overworking themselves a lot. This can cause a strain to emotional conncetions.
☽ 3rd house stellium may radiate air sign energy. You may be mistaken for an air sign constantly. Also, your mouth probably never shuts completely. You are the type to constantly tweet a new status.
☽ 7th house stellliums even if they get into a lot of relationships they usually find the right one later one.
☽ Aquarius Rising Women tend to be foreign? They tend to have darker features. Usually has nice thighs/ butt as well.
☽It’s no surprise fire in big three most likely takes a lot of pictures of travel/outside and most likely shares it as well.
☽ Pisces Risings tend to have a “doll” look.
☽ Scorpio Risings may be attracted to people who are opposite from them. It intruigies them.

Character Comparisons
Since not enough people hate me as it is, I decided to do something that’s definitely stupid—comparing 2 characters who I think are similar but are different enough for me to be annoyed to the edges of my being for one and adore the creativity behind the other.
Baam/ Jue Viole Grace from Tower of God
Tumblr media
VS
Midoriya Izuku/ Deku from BnHA
Tumblr media
I should probably first say as a disclaimer,
I have finished the ToG Manhwa ‘til the most recent chapter (S3 E85) and watched the anime.
I have only watched BnHA ‘til season 3 and I have zero awareness of Deku’s character development past that besides a few spoilers from friends and youtube videos I accidentally watched.
As of writing this post I have no plans of reading or watching more BnHA.
All of this is my opinion and mine only, everyone is welcome to their own, I just want to share mine.
Okay, got that out of the way, time to start my rant ‘bout characters.
Lemme start by noting things/ traits or story aspects that make them similar.
They’re both weak at first
In the first episode of BnHA, we learn that Deku is one of the very few people in their universe who doesn’t have a quirk.
For the entirety of S1, Baam doesn’t stand out as a protagonist. He is just a mysterous kid who chased a girl into the tower...just for her to *spoiler beep*
They’re both the ‘chosen one’ of sorts.
Baam in an irregular who entered the tower and has the potential to overthrow Jahad. Which he should...cause Jahads a big ‘ol ass.
Deku was chosen my All Might to inherit his quirk ‘One for All’ as a attempt to defeat the main villain of the show, All for One
They have an incredible cast of characters supporting them. There isn’t much to say about this point.
Deku has Iida, Uraraka, Todoroki, Bakugo, and a whole lot more colorful characters who act behind/ to support him.
Baam has Khun, Rak, Endorosi, Anaak, Hatsu and more as the series progresses, introducing more characters with each passing season.
They’re both good at encouraging people. This point is the one that gave me the idea for this post to begin with.
We all know the scene with Todoroki and Deku in S2.
Who else in the universe can pursuade an entire group of people to take a really difficult quiz just because of one ‘damaged’ b*tch?
They both really care about their friends and those around them.
If I placed a spoiler warning on this, I would’ve placed something from S2 of the manhwa but since I didn’t, remember the friendship sheet from Hatsu and Isu? He was willing to face Jahad’s Princess just to make sure his friends passed.
There’s probably a moment past S3 of the anime but since I didn’t watch S4 and don’t plan to, remember the first exam where he saved Uraraka from the robot crashing down on her or something?
It goes without saying that they become strong at some point in their series, albeit for very different reasons and that’s where the similarities end. From here on out, it’s all going to be their differences and how that changes my liking towards each one.
Baam/ Viole
For the most part of the series, his origins are a mystery except for the fact that he is from outside the tower and knows a girl named Rachel from there and was going to climb the tower with her.
His powers—the ability to control massive amounts of Shinsoo and learn techniques almost instantaneously are his own, no cheating by getting powers from others. The most additional power he gets is from things he absorbs later on in the series, making him even scarier as a regular but relatively normal as a irregular, especially with characters like Urek Mazino in the mix.
He just wants enough power to stay with his friends and won’t have the need for the word ‘goodbye.’ And if it will take fighting the entire tower to do that, he will. He will take every single measure he can to keep his friends safe, and together as they climb the tower.
The best thing about Baam as a character for me, is that he loses. He loses at some point. Sometimes it’s an important mission that gets messed up, other times it’s something trivial but the only thing that matters is that he loses. He’s human, not a god. There are limits to what he can do at that moment. He feels regret that it happened, that he had to go to such extents just to achieve a small goal or that so many lives were lost because of him.
Deku/ Izuku
Now, I don’t remember many details about BnHA, only that I didn’t enjoy it as much as others did and that’s probably because of the main character, Deku or his proper name, Midoriya Izuku.
First of all he gets his powers from All Might. It’s not his own power, he, himself is only good at encouraging people to be their best and even with that he can only ecourage someone so much before he becomes as useless as he was at the start of the series. He later, with the help of Gran Torino, learns how to control his quirk to 5% but that’s something he couldn’t have done without someone else’s interference. It definitely stopped his need for constant visits to the nurse. However, his track record of constantly breaking his arm just to use the power given to him is enough to show that there are more capable heroes that can inherit All Might’s quirk.
I’ll say it bluntly, Deku doesn’t lose—at least he doesn’t when it’s important, seeing as he lost to Todoroki after encouraging him to use his left(?) side. When we could’ve gotten amazing character development by having him lose important battles against the villains, we instead get to watch minutes of him having a broken arm as a result of using 100% power just to defeat 1 villain.
His goal is as plain as day—become a pro hero. Later, it gets a little bit more complicated by having the whole ‘All for One’ situation, but his goal exists just for himself, no one else. He wants to become a hero despite being quirkless? That’s sweet but he has a quirk now, one of the strongest in existance even, and it will get even stronger as the generations go on but not because of his own hard work, it’s going to be because that’s the way One for All works.
Now, I know this isn’t a fair comparison, heck it even isn’t a rational comparison, but it’s how I think about these 2 characters. They both would definitely have more development as characters in the future which means more things to rant about. Anyways, I personally prefer Baam by an entire galaxy before picking Deku, so maybe I understand how Bakugo feels, I’m not so sure.
Whoever is insane enough to read a rant about anime characters by a teenage girl, I salute you and you should probably go find something better to do with your time.

Kehilangan
Aku scrolling and browsing kembali tulisan-tulisanku di masa lalu. Trying to create a freedom of speech here and dig up my creativity by writing anything. 2021. Bismillah. It must be so fun. :)

What’s Next for Yuzu?
Hello girls/guys, apologize for suddenly going MIA this past weekend - I was out of town and didn’t bring my laptop with me. I’ve got tons of questions sitting in my inbox about the men’s event (as well as leftovers about the ladies’), which I’ll try to get to in the next couple of days. First, though, in this post I’d like to put together some general thoughts regarding our beloved Yuzu.
What Happened
The margin of 22.45 points between Nathan and Yuzu sounds awful on paper, but it could be accounted for in a fairly straightforward manner using the 2 jumping mistakes that Yuzu had: the popped 4S in the SP and the UR 4S in the LP. If Yuzu had landed those 2 Salchows properly, all else being equal, he could have won. That’s not my crazy Hanyu fan persona talking, it’s math.
His (relatively) clean Otonal SP was awarded 110.53 at Rostelecom Cup so that mistake in the SP in Saitama cost him upward of 15 points - 14 of which was because of the missing element itself, and the rest because of the reduction in PCS it induced (and I’d be the first to admit that it should’ve cost him even more had the judges strictly followed the ISU recommendation on PCS for programs containing a serious error).
His clean 4S in the LP at GP Helsinki was awarded 13.44 points, so the UR in Saitama cost him about 7.5 points.
(at least) 15.00 + 7.5 = 22.5, which is enough to cover the margin and allow Yuzu to win, and that’s before we account for the fact that a cleaner LP would’ve easily netted him more than 95.84 in PCS.
I’m not throwing these numbers out here to kick off a game of what-ifs. I’m doing this only to show you that the hot take of “Yuzu couldn’t have won even if he had skated cleanly” is bullshit. You don’t have to swallow it from anyone, not even Yuzu himself.
Do I think that the margin of victory should’ve been narrower than 22.45? Yes, I unequivocally do, not because I think Yuzu was underscored (I do not think so) but because I can poke a bunch of holes in the scores Nathan got. +4/+5 for his quads/3As were excessive, mainly because he didn’t have much in the way of creative entries, his landings were still a pain point because of the lack of flow, and while the size of his jumps on average was acceptable, it wasn’t outstanding. His LP ChSq was still blink-and-you-miss-it. His edgework and control have improved this past year, but were still not enough to justify +4/+5 on his StSq and +9 for his SS. His transition or lack thereof (and that’s not only my opinion but reportedly his coach’s too) should’ve resulted in a TR score well below 9. The list goes on.
What We Can Do
Trigger Warning: the stuff you’re about to read is not rosy.
A few people have been asking me what we, as fans, could do to let the ISU know what we think of their arbitrary judging practice. My answer is: we can make as much noise as we have time for on social media and we can reach out to them directly. For the latter purpose, yes, they have a Contact Us page on their official website. Select Figure Skating from the dropdown list and unleash on them your choice message. Only remember, if you will, to keep your arguments logical and your tone civilized. Much more likely than not, they'd go silent for weeks before replying to you with a polite little piece of mail saying your concern has been duly noted and will be looked into. (Why do I know that? Because I sent them just such a message after the disaster that was the score Mao received for her free skate at Sochi 5 years ago.)
I would advise you to keep trying and at the same time I would advise you not to have your hope up that it will do much good. Sporting governing bodies for the most part are not known for either their responsiveness or their tendency to eventually honoring fans’ wishes. Accountability and transparency are concepts as foreign to them as a double Axel is to Yuzuru Hanyu. It took, for example, an FBI investigation and brazen corruption in the realm of hundreds of millions of dollars for some changes to be done to FIFA. Considering the scale of the ISU and its weight on the public’s mind relative to FIFA, I can’t imagine any such drastic thing is going to happen to it anytime soon. In fact, the last time a major change was introduced to figure skating was 15 years ago with the establishment of the Code of Points, and back then it took an Olympic-scale scandal involving blatant misconduct to bring about the changes. What happened in Saitama last week was nowhere near as grave (at least I haven’t seen any evidence of anything more nefarious than your garden variety judging biases / irrationality) so to hope that we could leverage it to change the ISU’s way forward is close to magical thinking.
So let me tell you what will, in all likelihood, happen next season. Provided that he continues landing his quads regularly enough, Nathan’s PCS is not going to go down from 94-95, on the contrary it will go on to increase since he’s now a 2-time World champion and generally speaking the number or World titles one has tend to correlate positively with one’s PCS. He has no reason to regress on the base value of his layout either, so a back-to-back clean Nathan is going to score in the 320+ range. You don’t have to like it and it’s completely within your rights to be mad about it / keep writing to the ISU about it, but unless and until any material change is forthcoming, you’ve got to accept that as the baseline of your expectation.
Which brings me to the next and last section of this wall of text:
What Yuzu Can Do
If there’s anything I’m sure of about Yuzu’s personality, it’s that he is not prone to mere wishfulness, he’s a man of action and he loves to win. I’m also 100% certain that he is capable of logically coming to terms with the reality of the competitive landscape as I’ve described above and of figuring out an action plan for next season.
So if I were Yuzu, I’d reckon that I cannot rely on my PCS alone to carry me to titles so in order to stay ahead of the field I’d need to up my TES. Now, if the last week in Saitama has taught me anything, it’s that I can’t rely on getting decisively higher GOEs either. So what do I do? The natural conclusion is that I need to increase my BV, which means adding more quads, which, under the revised Zayak rule, means adding more variety of quads (with the way the new SOV scales according to an element’s BV, doing this would help maximizing my GOE potential too). Hence, you heard Yuzu’s take that next season he needs to aim for 4A, 4Lz, and possibly 4F. Some people have asked if I thought Yuzu was just being reckless when he stated that - I don’t think so, I believe he’s smart enough to have thought about it and arrived at the logical conclusion.
As a side note, I also believe Yuzu is smart and self-aware enough to, once the disappointment has cooled off, understand that it’s not because he’s lacking something or he didn’t work hard enough or his skating somehow had gotten worse, it’s just, matter-of-factly, how the system currently works and thus there are extra steps involved in regaining his World title.
I guess what I’m trying to say with this extremely very long note is, yes, it was disappointing, yes, the magnitude of the loss, on paper at least, was hard to swallow, and yes, things could have turned out differently had Yuzu been injury-free and able to compete in his top form, but don’t let all that frustration make you forget to appreciate the miracle he conjured (normal people don’t just take half a season off because of a serious injury and then come back to win a Silver medal at Worlds) or to celebrate the fact that he’s staying and he’s still hungry for success. If Yuzu himself can continue loving this sport enough and being hopeful enough to stay, you should be able to do the same without giving way to bitterness - that, I think, is the least of what we can do for him. After all, if, as Yuzu said, he is coming home, we’d need to be there to warmly welcome him back, right?

Transcript made from 2016 worlds interview with PJ Kwong, the full video is at the end of the transcript. I didn’t transcribe any of the names of the people who were asking questions and often just summarized what PJ was saying but stayed accurate with all the answers, except the ones we’ve heard before.
For the every lovely Marcia ( @bivirtuealone ) and anyone else who is interested!
PJ: We are live with Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir
Scott: Hi! I never know when it’s flipped.
Tessa: Yeah! (laugh) It’s exciting, thanks for having us!
PJ: Thank you for doing it! Couple questions via Facebook, what are you guys most excited about for next year? Love you guys!
S: Oh! Well, love you too, first of all. (laugh) What are we most excited about for next year? There is so much! There is a lot we are looking forward to. It’s funny, little time away has really renewed our passion for figure skating. I think, to be honest, this is cliché, I’m really excited to get back and to train and to be an athlete again. We’ve spent a couple weeks with Marie France and Patrice already and their coaching is so fantastic and it just feels great to learn more about our sport. So that’s what I’m most excited about.
PJ: What would you guys say has been for favourite costume over the years?
Scott: Oh, that’s a good question.
T: Thanks for writing that in! I think my original Carmen dress with the long sleeves, the deep V, and the ruffles. My mom designed that and I’m not sure I appreciated it at the time but looking back at the detail I think it was perfect for the program.
S: My favourite costume was that Carmen was as well. I’m pretty lucky in my career, I liked a lot of my costumes but that black long sleeve Carmen one was just simple and everyone knows I like skating black so I was very happy with that.
T: It had a bit of mesh, I liked that.
S: Bit of mesh! Yeah.
PJ: Who doesn’t like a bit of illusion.
S: (He says “oh helloooo there” in a funny little accent)
PJ: What got you guys into skating.
T: (Tells story of grade 1 field trip, and wanting to be competitive)
S: (Tells story of getting tricked into it, couldn’t skate, mom was a skating coach, etc.)
PJ: What is the most challenging stunt you’ve ever performed and why?
S: We had a couple that never made it to competition.
T: Yeah! We spent months and months and months where I stood on Scott shoulders. I wasn’t a pair girl I wasn’t used to the height it was quite scary, trained only to realize it would have been illegal anyway.
S: Not even that cool.
T: Not that cool.
S: It was scary, you were just so much higher than usual.
T: Especially when I went to do the backflip off of you. (Just casually back flipping off of his shoulders on to the ice, fuck Tessa)
S: Yeah, I did the front flip while you did the back flip. (Tessa laugh)
PJ: Commenter says “Love your skating and good luck!”
T: That’s so nice!
S: That is so nice. We have such amazing support from Canadian fans and fans around the world, we’ve always felt pretty blessed but –
T: It’s nice to connect with people this way.
S: I didn’t think people would remember who we are to be honest, so. (Tessa laugh)
T: (they are drinking coffee) We are so casual with are coffees, is this okay?
PJ: Yes, are you kidding? Question for Tessa, but I want Scott to answer too. What is your favourite animal?
Both: OH!
T: I love elephants, I always have I love that they are very matriarchical and I’m very close to my mom and my sister, and my grandma, and if I ever got a tattoo I would get three elephants, three or four in a row, I’m just not bold enough.
PJ: To signify you are your family?
T: Yeah, I love elephants.
PJ: They hurt, not elephants, tattoos.
T: Yeah, I’ll stay away.
S: I don’t even think I have a favourite animal.
Tessa says something about elephants, but we only hear PJ go “If you met my dog you’d love him! Then Scott replies to whatever Tessa said:
S: You really like elephants, that’s not something you just came up with, we’ve talked about this, probably too often.
T: HA! This is my favourite game to play with Scott, especially when we are in the car.
S: Oh my god, yeah (Tessa laughs) whatisit—inside the actors studio?
T: And I like fire away –
S: What’s your favourite sound?
T: I’ll sleep better at night knowing the answers to all those questions.
PJ: You are different kids, I want you to talk about being in the car on your way to training.
T: Oh gosh.
S: Yeah.
T: Our poor parents, I cannot believe they did that at 4am three or four times a week.
S: Our biggest concern was whether we’d stop at the Tim Hortons or the MacDonalds on the way home.
T: To get our hot chocolate. Well mostly on the way, on the drive – well Scott got me a Marvin the Martian body pillow which was ginormous—
S: Pretty cute for a little guy, gotta say.
T: And he’d have a pillow and we both put our pillows up and kinda go 1,2,3, and lean in towards each other and just sleep the entire car ride.
S: We were cute back then. We’ve changed. (Tessa laugh) I was thoughtful too, like a big body pillow? Tessa was like as big as the body pillow, literally.
PJ: Oh no! Someone is about to pass out from excitement, I’m assuming about you guys.
T: Oh wow! Don’t pass out. Stay with us, stay with us.
S:  Stay with us.
PJ: Scott, do you have any tattoos, if not what would you get?
S: I don’t have any tattoos. I always wanted (to Tessa) do you know what I’m gonna say?
T: I do (laughs)
S: I always wanted a picture of myself on my back like “smiling and giving finger guns – tessa is laughing) you know? So if I’m walking down the beach people are just like “heyyyyy’ I can do that from all angles. (mumbles) From Steve-O though, so can’t do it.
PJ: What do you think about Romeo and Juliet music?
S: We’ve worked on that for years!
T: Yeah.
S: We wanted to do that for years.
T: Yeah.
S: We were actually told at one point we were too old to be Romeo and Juliet. (Tessa’s face is hilarious here, a screen shot for you)
Tumblr media
T: I think its just gorgeous music. And I think, we also talked about the idea of using that music but maybe portraying a different story line, why not? Because that music is gorgeous.
S: Mhm, so many great pieces there.
T: We’ll still – we’re working on that maybe, one time.
PJ: Kris Young wants to know do you have a favourite moment that doesn’t involve climbing?
S: Kris Young the singer?
T: (laughs) Kris Young the hockey coach. (Tessa sips coffee)
S: OH! (laughs) Did he say he has a favourite moment from Sochi?
PJ: That’s doesn’t involve climbing?
S: He was there! Very sneaky.
T: Nice try Kris, we’re not dishin’.
S: In the vault, buddy.
PJ: What your favourite ISU set pattern dance to do?
S: That is a good question.
PJ: Wanna know mine? Argentine tango?
S: Ohhhh, that’s one of my favourites.
T: Yeah, that one is fun.
S: I liked the arge (calls it “The Arge) – it was a good dance for us. Tessa’s favourite of all time is the Fiesta (tango fiesta) (T laughs)
PJ: Oh, did you do the arm cross in front, cross behind?
T: Yeah! (laughs) It’s good I’m a tango person cause I was gonna say the Romantica.
S: Yeah, there’s a lot of good ones. I do like the set pattern dances, especially for development but, I like the more complicated ones, waltzes, the newer ones, the golden, the Austrian, just more complicated and more fun to watch and do – so.
PJ: What’s your fav hockey team?
T: I mean we’re leafs fans, right?
S: Right. Babsy is king.
T: Especially with Mike there.
S: Babsy is KING! (Laughs) Oh, I almost spilled my coffee all over you.
PJ: What do you guys do for fun?
T: Oh good question.
S: LOTS!
T: Well, we just had a stint of a lot of fun things. Its been neat taking a step away from competition and trying new activities. Whether it was broadcasting like here with CBC or acting, or fashion. But for fun, in the summer we like to golf.
PJ: Are you good golfers?
S: She’s amazing. I was just going to say because no, I’m not good at all.
T: It’s a hard game that’s for sure.
PJ: We don’t have to worry about you switching sports just yet.
S: No.
PJ: Are you going to be doing more installments of the Scott and Tessa show?
S: (hilarious low incredulous laugh)
T: It’s funny they must be re-airing that because people are coming up to us and I think they think it’s happening right now.
S: Yeah, my grandpa called me really concerned the other day. (T laughs) I was in Toronto and I didn’t tell him cause I was supposed to be taking him to breakfast.
T: Oh that’s funny.
PJ: We love your grandpa by the way.
Both: He’s amazing.
T: None planned right now, no.
PJ: Would you guys ever throw the first pitch at a baseball game?
S: DID IT!
T: We did that, it was terrifying.
S: It was awesome, we’d do it again in a heartbeat.
T: I don’ think I’ve ever been so nervous.
PJ: Who got to throw it?
S: We both got to throw!
T: At the same time, yeah.
S: Tessa said that she didn’t wanna throw and I talked her into it, then she out threw me.
T: No, I didn’t! I had to practice with my brothers in the backyard so many times.
S: We talked and we talked and we were just like, “we are just gonna throw it nice and easy so it—just kind of lob’er in there.
T: We wanted unison.
S: Tessa just pulled back and let one go. It went in the dirt a little.
T: It wasn’t great, it wasn’t great.
PJ: People don’t realize it’s a long way to the pitchers mound.
T: Yes!
S: Its nerves.
T: I practiced on a much shorter distance I think, so it was really daunting to actually get up there.
S: If I could do it again, I’d go up on the hill and I’d kick the leg—do it all.
T: I’d want the catcher to give me the signal, spit a little bit, maybe put some tobacco in my mouth.
PJ: You wouldn’t spit!
S: She’d turn it into a dance move or something! Maybe they’ll have to ask us again.
PJ: Maybe you could throw Tessa?
(laughs)
S: We should have gone into The Goose and have her throw it in. (more laughs)
PJ: That would have been a great idea!
S: We’ll see. We’re creative.
PJ: No doubt about that. If not skating, what sport/activity would you have pursued?
T: Realistically I think I would have pursued dance—
S: For sure.
T: Or ballet. Now? If I were to switch sports, I’d love to be a tennis player. I’m a little short but—loved to play tennis.
S: We should go play.
T: Yeah, that’s next on my list. Let’s do that.
S: Okay, you’re on.
T: We’ll keep you posted on that match. (laughs)
PJ: What people don’t know, is the famous backyard Moir games. I want you to describe –
S: Oh yeah! The backyard games, man!
PJ: With the frisbee –
S: Frippet (sp?),  you know about Frippet. You’re impressive Peej. The Moirs, we are like a bbq backyard family, so we hang out on the back deck a lot. And pretty much anything you can do with one hand is a good game for you and we play this little bag with beanbags. It’s a lot of hours in the backyard. That’s what I would be, I would be a profession leisure sport player.
(I had to stop and laugh, some rural Canadian shit, one handed game so the other is free for your drink)
T: Lawn bowling.
S: Lawn bowling! Oh, that’s a real sport.
T: Oh that’s real, I don’t know why I said that.
S: I dunno, lawn bowlers out there.
Then he like makes a face and points at Tessa.
Tumblr media
T: Sorry! I didn’t mean it, I really didn’t mean it.
S: Oopsies…Tessa Virtue’s first miss step ever, take note of that.
(Laughter)
PJ: And we were here to see it, and its live.
S: And it’s live, can’t be taken back. I can see the hate mail from the lawn bowlers now.
(laughter)
PJ: She’s just kidding honestly, send me the mail I’ll take care of it. What has been your funniest memory over your 18 year partnership?
S: Oh wow. You, we keep making funny memories. That’s what’s so great.
T: We had a car ride just last week where we laughed the entire time.
S: Yep. We had a dance party –
T: Dance party, yup.
S: And laughed – what is the funniest thing?
PHONE STARTS RINGING IN BACKGROUND
S: Oh! Who do you think that is?
PJ: That’s embarrassing.
(Tessa laughs)
S: At least its authentic.
PJ: Just pretend it’s a sound effect.
S: Do you want me to get it? I should get it.
T: It’s the lawn bowling association—(laughs)
S: Yeah, exactly! (laughs)
PJ: Scott, could you grab it, if you don’t mind? Cause if wont stop.
S: Yeah!
PJ: So Tessa, what is your funniest memory? Let’s see if Scott says “hello.”
T: Honestly that’s way too…--
S (off camera): Hello?
T: Oh, he’s answering now.
PJ: No one ever calls me!
S (off camera): She is not right now, could she call you back?
PJ: So what do you think of your funniest memory? And someone wants to now what that coffee is that you are holding.
T: Oh, americano.
(Scott mumbles stuff on the phone)
S: PEEJ!
PJ: So Scott, what happened?
S: Oh, they wanted to know if my wife was available. (Tessa dies laughing). “Is your wife Patricia available?” And no actually, she’s busy right now.
PJ: You heard it first here on CBC sports, we weren’t gonna be able to keep it secret forever.
(Then the audio cuts out of a few seconds, not sure what they say but when it comes back:)
PJ: Scott I’m going to make you feel the love too.
S: That’s okay, I love it when they are for her.
PJ: What is your favourite movie?
S: We watched it the other day.
T: The princess bride? I mean yeah, that’s just classic.
PJ: I know your favourite TV show cause we share it! Flight of the Conchords.
T: Flight of the Concords, yes.
S: What’s your favourite TV show now, though?
T: I just finished Broadchurch and that was so good, have you seen that? On BBC – check it out.
S: (mumbles something about Dowton Abbey)
T: Yeah, I can’t bring myself to watch the final episode. I haven’t finished the very end of Harry Potter either because that’s like, it’s never over, so I just don’t want it to end so I don’t know that I’ll watch the last Downton Abbey but I do love that one.
PJ: Makes me feel like I am saying goodbye to friends, make me sad.
S: I cry at the last episode of Friends all the time.
PJ: Who do you relate to, Scott on TV?
S: In television? No not really anybody. I actually thought Jim and Pam from the The Office were my friends for a while though. It’s kinda the same thing, they aren’t real people when it ended I thought they would be on the back deck one day hanging out with me. I get attached, that’s why I don’t watch too much.
PJ: When you retire, Scott please consider comedy. I find your commercial hilarious.
S: You know what?
T: I love that he’s become know from that commercial.
S: I don’t think I’m hilarious, but Tessa still laughs at my jokes and its been 18 years, so.
T: The question is why apparently.
PJ: Is there a new movie you haven’t seen yet that you would like to?
T: Anything that’s come out in the last several years, I can’t remember the last time—
PJ: I really wanna see My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.
S: It kinda looked fun! Anything with a big family kinda brings ya right back.
(Small chat about Boston movies, and liking Boston, wanting to explore.)
PJ: Anything exciting coming up in the next few months?
S: Well, we have tour which is exciting, in April we do Japan, Switzerland on the way home, we get to visit our friend Lambiel.
(CUT OFF – Shot of PJ’s forehead and her apologizing for technical issues, then switch to vm.
S: What up! Are we on camera?
PJ: You are!
PJ: What is your favourite dance style.
T: Always lead with ballet, but now more contemporary.
PJ: Now you were in the national ballet, I saw pictures of you doing the Nutcracker, was that fun?
T: That was absolutely incredible, that had been a dream of mine, of course, growing up I wanted to take the stage with national ballet. I wasn’t expecting it to be in that capacity I was dressed up as a joker. It’s funny I messages Scott beforehand and I was like “I don’t do goofy – I’m not funny” and he would have been so good with it, but I was paired up with Ethan, a dancer, and we choreographed this whole little thing together it was so much fun and so thrilling.
PJ: Did you ever go up on pointe and can you still?
T: I haven’t tried. I did, yes, but I haven’t tried in many many years.
S: You should, I haven’t been on pointe.
PJ: Who’s feet are stronger, skaters or ballet dancers?
S: Ballet dancers.
T: Ballet dancers, yeah. I think you lose a lot of the range when your foot is stuck in a boot. Skating trains the opposite muscles.
S: Dancers are tough too, like what is it 18 hours a day? Like obviously skating is crazy training but the dancer’s life, I don’t know how they do it. Just waiting all day, on call, its so demanding. I know that from all my dance experience.
PJ: Favourite dance style?
S: Me? Oh you know, I like switching it up, for me, as long as we keep it fresh I’m cool – like I can’t think of a style I don’t like. We are moving into a style—
Then the video cuts off completely.

People always say that it’s clear Greg hasn’t written a bok since high school because of his terrble writing and it’s true. You can tell. How it’s formated is ridiculous and he just doesn’t really get how to pace things and know how long chapters should be. But I just thought that was it. I didn’t really get what people meant by that.
But recently, I’ve been reading more. Read three books in three days. And oh my god. It’ shelped with writing my rps so much. I was always struggling to write more between dialogue and I read books for the first time in a while (I’ve had really bad isues with focusing over the last two years so I’ve barely read) and he difference is unreal. I’m actally enjoying my posts and not needing to apologise for the reply being bad.  It’s coming so much more natrually now since I’m finding it a lot easier to write about character thoughts, how to write out actions, how to properly write dialogue.. you don’t realise how much reading books helps until you’ve tried writing when you’ve not read for a while, then go back to it after you’ve read a book or two.
With Greg, his books are beyond help. He doesn’t understand how charaters should be written. He doesn’t know how to make a compellng plot. He doesn’t know how to foreshadow correctly. Like, he’s just not cut out to be an author. He doesn’t have the creative drive to be an author.
But his books would be mch easier to read depte the terribleness if he read books that weren’t his own.Even if it’s a children’s book. He’ll know how to pace things a bit better and how things should natrually flow from reading. He’d know how to format, he’d know how long chapters should be. There’s a lot you can learn about writging just from reading. His books would really need a lot of work to make them decent and that’s even when you fix the grammar mitakes just to make it understandable. But if he just read a fucking book once and a while (even a couple of chapters before he writers a chapter!) it would help so much.
It’s why Twilight works. Yes the writing isn’t perfect. The characters are crazy and bland. But you can tell Smeyer loves writing and loves books. The passion is there. She really cares for her characters and wanted to create this world. Greg just wants to get his ideas out ona  page and sell it.  I think he migh enjjoy writing. But he doesn’t have the same passion as an author should have. Otherwise, he’d care enough to fix these mistakes.

projekkoyak: diskusi at seni on live ig session
Fulltime artist/painter. Member of Studio Atas and P.E.D.U people collective.
Seniman muda dengan elemen abstrak dan suka bermain dengan puisi. dan di deskripsi rantai art sempat tercatat biografi ringkas artist profile “Freelance creative production and community, mingle and thrilled in my abstraction of thinking and life development.”
Bagi slot ketiga Diskusi At Seni, Projek Koyak membawakan
3. Ajim Juxta; seorang seniman kontemporer Malaysia. A Visual artist/lyricist. Been active as an artist since 2009 & have exhibited his work in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, China & UK. His art is a mix of abstract painting, conceptual art and surrealism.
Mostly his work consist of hybrid concept, from collage, performance art, site specific work, sculpture & video art. Concept of art basically exploring the terms of post conceptual art approach in which is directly using the philosophy of "art as an idea as idea".
------------------------------------------------------------
Ajim Juxta;

In theory, Assassin's Creed Odyssey is a good game. As a stand alone game, without prequels, sequels or anything of the sort it's an amazing game. The concept, the general idea behind it is amazing, using all the myths and legends of Ancient Greece and making them real in such a way you feel like you're there, living them is... wonderful. The DLC's are creative and fun, and the graphics, oof. The way the waves look whilst you're sailing The Adrestia is breathtaking. Alas, as an Assassin's Creed game? It ain't great.
Sure it has the general plot, including Juno and the Isu and blah blah blah but those are stuck behind a pay wall, an expensive one at that. It includes the pieces of Eden, but that is poorly executed as if they didn't know what to do with it so they rammed it in there. It also includes the real world sequence we all... love and adore.
Odyssey really wants to be an Assassin's Creed game, with all of the aforementioned plot points. But it just doesn't work.
I'm gonna use one of my favourite AC games as an example, in Assassin's Creed 2 (cliché sue me) you play as Ezio, and in this game you are told where to go, who to kill, when to kill them not questions asked. You don't have much freedom and it's a rather linear game. In the modern day sequence we have Desmond, and his adventures running away from Abstergo, now don't get me wrong, modern day in 2 is shit, but so what? It's not really what the games are about.
As the games progressed and the series grew in popularity and the formula got old they added new things, new tricks, like the ships in 3 and Black Flag, the hunting, the whatever they added in Rogue I've only played that game once, oops. In Unity they added multiplayer and added outfits, lots and lots of outfits, and more weapons to choose from. Then Syndicate ( maybe I'm biased because it's my favourite ) added skills, outfits, places, side quests, customisation ect ect, they gave us not one but TWO assassins to play as. For me, Syndicate was the best AC has ever been. I even enjoyed the modern day sequences.
Then... came Origins. I have played every single game in the series, from start to finish, multiple times yet it took me months to get into this game. Once I got into it I loved it, it was fun and creative and looked real pretty... But it wasn't an Assassin's Creed game, it was like they had taken the formula and smashed into the dirt, trodden on it and thrown into the river Nile. The controls were different, the gameplay was different the general... feel of the game was different. The story was kinda confusing because who was the protagonist in the end? Bayek or Aya?
Then came Odyssey, which on the whole, sucks as an assassin's creed game. Amazing game, not an amazing AC game. I'm sat here writing this and I'm playing it and I love it haha, it's a great game but once again, I had to force myself to get into it. What drew me most to the game was the Greek mythology and the choice between two different characters.
But that's the problem, this game is an RPG. With it's dialogue choices, romanceable characters, different outfits and map so big it takes up... most of my wall. Assassin's Creed? NOT an rpg. You can disagree, or you can not, I don't mind.
Odyssey brought a lot to the table, but it also took a lot away.
Haha, one of my main problems? Was the modern day. Layla is such a despicable character, she's cocky and arrogant, mean and just generally really REALLY boring. There's n o t h i n g to her, she's not Desmond, who I grew to like in the end, and she's not some faceless character. She's... just shit. Her dialogue is horse shit, her design is basic and she's just bleh.
Also where the hell are Shawn and Rebecca? We last saw them in Syndicate and suddenly Origins forgets about them and gives up brand new characters and ditches them.
