( @phantomguild ; ??? Vulpix )
Tumblr media
The strange Vulpix approaches the two humans, still cautious of the two of them, as well as just in general. On guard by default, their tails are spread out to make them seem just a little bit bigger, even though they have no hope of comparing to them in stature. Their voice was slow, almost tense in nature.
"You two. You're what many worlds call 'Pokémon Trainers', correct? Are any of the other Pokémon under your care with you to join in on all this?"
As the strange Vulpix spoke to Kyo and Meg, Meowstic and Cassie translated the message for them.
Meg's face lit up at the question. "Oh yes, I brought my entire team! Here, I'll send them out." Taking the Moon Balls off her belt, Meg tossed them all into the air. "Come on out, everyone! There's someone here who wants to meet you."
From the balls emerged a shiny Minior, a Rhyhorn, a Clefairy, a Magnezone, a shiny Wigglytuff, and a shiny Sigilyph. As they all looked around, getting oriented in the setting, they turned their attention to Meg. She waved eagerly before gesturing to the Vulpix.
"So my little translator here is Cassie. She's the best Rotom Phone a gal could ask for. Then this is my team! There's my partner, Halley. They're that shiny Minior there. Then there's my racing partner, Chiron my Rhyhorn. We've won lots of races back in Kalos together! Then that Clefairy is Mayall, the Magnezone is Roswell, the Wigglytuff is Sunflower, and the Sigilyph is Shapley!"
Kyo watched Meg closely as she introduced her team. She was positively beaming with excitement as she pointed to each member enthusiastically. Her affection for them, and in turn their affection for her, was quite plain for anyone to see.
"Kyo!" Meg's voice snapped Kyo from her thoughts. "Are you going to send out your team?"
Kyo stiffened a bit at the question, shifting her weight awkwardly from one leg to the other. "Oh um..." Kyo's gaze flicked back and forth between Meg and the Vulpix. "I think they shouldn't come out. Not with this many people around. Perhaps later in a more secluded area."
An awkward silence filled the area for a moment as Kyo fumbled her way around the question, not elaborating at all beyond that. After a moment, trying to ease the tension a bit, Kyo pulled her own Rotom Phone from her pocket. "But um... well this is my Rotom Phone. Their name is Light. Then this one here on my shoulder is my partner Pokemon, Meowstic. I've had her since I was a kid."
Meowstic bowed her head silently towards the Vulpix in greeting as she was introduced.
Ask Hints Have Been Updated!
Meg's Team is also now available for asks! Ask hints for them will be added at a later date.

Meet Cassie
Main Masterlist
Meet Cassie Masterlist
Synopsis: What happens when a student transfers to Hawkins High?. What if she is hiding a big secret that could change everything she managed to hide from others. (Begins during season 2 after Steve gets his heartbroken)
Meet Cassie Chapter 2
Trigger Warnings: angst in flashback, philophobia, trauma, denial, self loathing, loneliness
“So you are going on dates now Cassie?’ Her aunt asked crossing her arms in front of her. “Auntie just because i am different that doesn’t mean i can’t go on friendly meet ups, i already told him i am not interested in dating anyone” Cassie retorted. Even if she tried to convince her aunt, she knew that they would never stop reminding her of keeping things private. It was not like she had a choice to keep her secret a secret.
Later that night while Cassie was studying in her room she kept getting flash backs of what her life was back home. She decided to go out for a walk at the roof top.
*Flashback*
“Cassie is different far different than any other human. Wr need to take her to a better institution” she said to her husband.
A 15 year old Cassie was fast asleep when they picked her up and took her to an underground science lab. It was not Hawkins lab but it was a lab far cruel than that.
“I’ll tie her up, you make sure everything else is ready” her husband said to her. Cassie started to wake up but before she can see them, she was tranquillised.
*End of Flashback*
Cassie woke up breathing heavily, she had no idea how she could fall asleep on the roof top. She calmed herself before going back to her room, she was so scared to fall back to sleep that she called Nancy hoping she would answer but she did not. Wishing that she doesn’t get another nightmare Cassie decided to sleep and hoped that tomorrow’s a better day.
Since they graduated high school it meant they had to go to college and while others were going to their job interviews the very next day. As soon as Summer started Cassie decided to search for a suitable college, she asked Nancy before Nancy went to her interview for summer internship. After a lengthy discussion with Nancy on the other line they both decided to apply to Hawkins’ very own college. Nancy asked if Cassie could get an internship with her at the Hawkins Post but Cassie wanted to get a job at the new Starcourt Mall. Unbeknownst to her Steve had already been hired at the Starcourt’s very own Scoops Ahoy.Cassie was asked to meet the Manager of Gap as soon as she entered the shop. Minutes which seemed like hours went by and she was appointed as the customer service employee. She was so glad to get the opportunity that she decided to meet her newest friend Robin at the Scoops Ahoy.
“Hey Robin, they finally hired you” she said out loud as soon as she entered the place. “I am not the only one they hired” Robin seemed annoyed by the fact that her new co worker used to be a bully in her high school.
“Oh now who they hired besides you Buckley?” Cassie questioned and just then Steve Harrington exited the employee walk through. Cassie looked wide eyed at him. “Robin when is the next batch of Vanilla arriving?’ He asked before looking up at Robin but his eyes diverted themselves to Cassie’s whose heartbeat was rising every second he stepped close to her. It has been a week since they last saw each other and Cassie bailed on Steve for the meet up.
“What are you doing here?” He asked her as she stood an inch away from her; “I got hired at Gap an hour ago” she replied looking away from him. Just before he could say something some customers came in and Cassie walked away from Steve and Robin as the kids also entered the place before she could meet them.
When she came back to her aunt’s place, she went to her room even before her relatives could ask her about her interview; she locked the door as she took off her clothes and went to take a bath. Her injuries had healed but the scars of the past decided to stay. She hated the way her body looked with all the wounds and injection marks, she hated them so badly that she would not even wear anything a bit revealing. She knew she was not meant to be loved she never knew what love actually was. She decided to avoid Steve at all cost even if her heart does not want to, it will be dangerous if both of them got together.

[pm] I know…I know I can. I do. And that goes both ways. it’s, shit hit the fan and just been a weird week.
So, remember when you mentioned necromancy and about bringing back the dead? If somebody used that stuff to do it how could you tell? If somebody came back like that would you be able to tell?
[pm] Oh shit. Uuuhhhh
Okay. That’s a big question, and I don’t know how much I can actually help. But if there’s someone walking and talking around and everyone can see them and they’re not just like, normal undead-- I mean, someone would have to summon a soul for that to work, I think? And summonings are bound together by the circle. Are they stuck in a circle? Or wearing one?
Also, and I just, I have to ask, because of something I’ve seen recently, but you’ve tested that they’re corporeal right?
Because I might be seeing Because I have a prob Because

how to save a life [cassie howard]
cassie howard x fem reader
requested: hello! I loved your f! reader x Cassie Howard, so I have a request - f! reader x Cassie where the reader is depressed and wants to end their life, but Cassie saves her.
key: italics=rue’s voiceover
TRIGGER WARNING: depression, suicidal thoughts
Tumblr media
*not my gif*
Y/N Y/L/N was the perkiest girl in the entire school. The literal sunshine on the rainy day. Always saying hello to everyone and asking everyone how their day is, with a big smile on her face. It’s like a Disneyland worker on steroids.
I can’t tell you how many times she made my hangover worse by her peppiness.
She met Cassie and Maddy when they auditioned for cheer together. And the three of them plus Kat and Lexi were inseparable. But Y/N and Cassie more than others.
They’re what you called a best friends to lovers trope. And I guess that’s what they are. I don’t fucking know, well no one knows.
But I guess no one really knows what’s going on in Sunshine Y/N’s life.
You stared at yourself in the bathroom mirror. God you looked terrible. You haven’t washed your hair in days or probably even showered. You couldn’t remember, everything seemed to have faded together.
You didn’t know the time where everything started to go downhill. All of the cheer practices you went to and failed at the routine causing Maddy to have an aneurysm each time. Then there was hanging out with everyone which felt more like a terrible job than fun now. And even school as you watched your grades slip, letter by letter. There were a few letters on your desk: one for Kat, Lexi, Maddy, and lastly Cassie. You opened the Opiod bottle from when you broke your arm in a cheer competition, pouring them onto your hand.
You stared at the circular pills. Literally, holding your life in your hands. You were about to pop the pills in your mouth when your phone started ringing. Cassie’s name popped onto the phone. You fought in your head whether or not you should answer it, but you decided to do so anyway. You don’t know why, maybe it was because it was Cassie. Or maybe it was because you wanted the last voice to hear be hers.
“Hey love!” Cassie said excitedly and your heart pinged at how happy she was. Always so happy to talk to you and excited to see you.
“Hi, what’s up?” you asked, still looking down at the pills in front of you.
“I just wanted to check up on you. Maddy told me you weren’t feeling well so I thought I’d check up on you.” she explained and you smiled softly at her thoughtfulness.
“No yeah, I’m fine. Just a little tired is all, I didn’t feel like getting yelled at for messing up the steps again.” you confessed, coming up with the best lie you could give. And she laughed softly. God how you’re gonna miss her laugh.
“I’m close to your house. I’m gonna come by and bring your favorite food, we can cuddle and watch movies for the entire weekend-“
She was about to go on, but you cut her off, “No! It’s totally okay, love.” you say a little too quickly, “I gotta go. My mom’s calling me and I uh I gotta go. I love you.”
“Y/N, what’s wr-“ she asked.
But you cut her off yet again, “I love you Cassie Howard.” you said, desperately hoping that she says it again.
“I love you Y/N. Are you sure there’s nothing-“
You hung up right away. You felt bad, but you couldn’t let her come by and see your find your dead body. It would break her, even more than it was going to already. Filling up the cup of water, you looked at yourself in the mirror and back to the pills. Well here goes nothing.
You shot back the pills, about to chug down the water. When your door bursts open to reveal your beautiful blonde. Her eyes gazed from the empty pill bottle on your floor to the cup in your hands. You got a good look at her and her eyes were clumped, obvious that she was crying. Her eyes red and puffy.
“Spit it out!” she exclaimed, but you shake your head, “Y/N please! I need you! Please baby, I can’t lose you. Just spit it out please.”
You finally spit the pills out, leaning your head against the wall. Tears falling onto your cheeks, “Hi.” you murmured. She pulled you out of your seat on the floor and into a big hug.
“You’re an idiot.” Cassie said, letting the tears fall and hit your shoulder. You did the same thing and both of you were sobbing. She pulled away, but cupped your cheeks looking at you with serious eyes, “Why?”
“I’m so sorry.” you said.
She shook her head, “No love it’s okay. You don’t need to be sorry, I just want to know why.”
“I just felt like such a burden. That no one loves me, even if I’m surrounded by the most love in the entire life I don’t deserve it. Not from my family or our friends or even you.” you explained.
“Look at me Y/N.” she said when you didn’t speak again, “I love you. You can’t leave me, okay? Please” tears bordering her eyes yet again, “I’m here with you every step of the way.”
“Okay.” you nod, “I love you.”

Leftoverture- Prologue
Tumblr media
Author’s Note: Don’t get me wrong, I loved the finale, but I was thinking about how much I miss Dean and I couldn’t stop thinking about ways I could have him back so…I’m going canon divergent while being as close to canon as possible. ‘Cause that’s how Cassie do. Will eventually crossover with my Crash Into Me series.
Summary: Sam is carrying on as best he can, when the Dean from the other universe shows up at the Bunker in complete distress. Can Dean carry on without his brother like Sam is trying to? Can they help each other?
Pairing: None, thus far.
Word count: 1196
Story Warnings: angst, Post-barn scene sads, mentions of major character deaths (Dean and AU!Sam), mentions of depression,
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sam woke to Miracle jumping on his bed. He groaned and reached out to pat the dog’s head. “Yeah. I’m up. Gimme a minute, buddy.” Waking up was always hard for him now. It used to be so easy for him, but since Dean died...pushing himself out of his bed was harder every day.
If it weren’t for that dog, he wouldn’t get out of bed at all.
Miracle whined and pushed his head against Sam’s thigh. “Yeah. I’m...yeah.”
He was going through the motions. Without Dean, everything was dulled. Except the pain. The pain was all-encompassing. The pain was everything.
He forced himself out of bed. He had to every day. He fed the dog. Fed himself. Moved along with his day. He waited on the laundry. He walked Miracle...couldn’t bring himself to go for a run.
He kept waiting for things to get better. Dean said Sam could handle it, that he could do it alone, but Sam felt a little more like that was a lie every single day. Weeks passed. He only felt worse.
He sat at the table in the library, head hung over a book of Greek lore, when the large front door opened. Sam stood, on instant alert, grabbing the pistol from the holster under the table and standing, moving to hide to the side of the archway as footsteps were heard on the spiral staircase.
“Sam?!” an intimately familiar voice called out. Sam’s heart felt like it was being crushed at the sound. “Dean? Are you fellas home?”
Sam stepped out of the library and stared across the War Room at his brother’s face. Familiar green eyes with the crinkles at the corners, freckled skin across his cheeks and hands...with beaded bracelets and a Rolex watch on his wrists.
“Dean.” Sam set the pistol on the map table and stepped closer, forcing down his pain. He almost didn’t notice the same pain on Dean’s face. “What are you doing here?”
“I…” He cleared his throat and stepped closer to Sam. “Where’s your brother?”
“I...asked you first,” Sam responded, unable to bring himself to say the words. Not to Dean’s face.
"I just...wanted…needed to…"
Sam looked into Dean's eyes and noted the pain in the dark green orbs. "Where’s your brother?"
Dean broke immediately, dropping his body to the bottom step of the staircase and sobbing into his hands. "I couldn't save him! I couldn't--there was so much blood and I couldn't-"
Tears rolled down Sam's cheeks. The words Dean said were exactly what his own thoughts about his own brother's death. He couldn’t stop himself from sitting next to Dean and holding him as they cried.
"My Dean died too," Sam whispered after the sobs started to wane. Dean wiped at his eyes and looked over at Sam, who nodded sadly. "You wanna beer?"
"Sorry about that. I-I don't normally...I haven’t broken down like that since it happened," Dean said, five minutes later as he picked at the edge of the label on his beer.
"What happened?" Sam asked.
"Werewolf," Dean managed, even as his voice broke on the word. "Slashed his chest t-to ribbons...got his heart...but it didn't eat him. No, I did not let that piece of shit eat my brother's heart, I wr-wrapped…" His hand went across his mouth, shaking as he rubbed the words from his lips. "His heart burned with him," Dean concluded before taking a drink of his beer.
Sam's mind settled on his own memory of standing in front of a funeral pyre, his brother burning before his eyes. "I'm sorry."
"What happened to Dean?"
Sam took a deep pull off of his beer and cleared his throat as he set it down. "S-something similar. We were fighting a nest of vampires in this old barn and...and there was this...this rebar hook. Vamp pushed him on it during the struggle and...it pierced his, pierced his heart and...there was no, there no saving him."
"I'm very sorry, Samuel. Sam, I mean," Dean corrected, shaking his head at himself. "You're not Samuel. I apologize."
"Right. Harder than it seems to convince the brain of that. I mean...you’re not my brother...but the sound of your voice is…" Sam shook his head, too.
"I always thought I would go first," Dean said, voice quiet and far-off. "I never imagined a world where I didn't have Sammy."
Sam had to swallow down a sob. "Yeah. My Dean was the same." He swallowed again, but there was no getting around the ball of sadness in his throat. "He got what he wanted."
There was silence for a long moment before the sound of paws on tile thundering toward the War Room. Miracle jumped in Dean's lap and immediately started to lick the salt from his cheeks.
"Who is this little mutt?!" Dean asked, a bit of awe and amusement in his voice as he petted the pooch.
Sam cleared his throat. "That’s Miracle. Dean rescued him."
"Oh, he must think I'm-"
"Yeah," Sam interrupted. "That’s the happiest I've seen him since…"
Dean pressed a kiss to the top of Miracle's head and caressed his ears. "Such a good boy."
"He is. He's a really good dog." Sam stood and crossed to the whiskey decanter. “I think I need something stronger than beer. You want a glass?”
“Please.”
Sam poured two glasses of whiskey and turned back around. Miracle had his head in Dean’s lap, looking as happy as he’d ever looked. He slid one of the glasses across the table in front of Dean and sat back down. “How long ago did it happen?”
“Week ago,” Dean said, staring at the amber liquid. “Yours?”
“A month.”
“How are you still standing?”
Sam’s eyes snapped to Dean’s. How was he still standing? “Dean wanted me to keep going. So, I’m going.” He shrugged and focused on his whiskey.
“Does it get easier?”
“Not so far.”
Another moment of silence settled over the room as the men drank. Dean stared off into space as he scratched at the dog’s head. “I don’t think I can do this,” he whispered eventually.
“Of course, you ca-” Sam started to argue.
“No.” Dean looked over at Sam and shook his head. “No, I can’t. I’m not built for it. I’ve been taking care of Sammy since I was a kid. I’ve never been without him. I can’t do this without him.”
Sam swallowed and looked over at Dean. “Dean...I’m sure you can. I’m sure you…” He sighed. “You can keep going. I know it seems like you can’t, but-”
“It doesn’t seem like it, Sam. I am not able to do this. I am not like you. I can’t do this.” He pushed the dog out of his lap and stood. “I cannot. I cannot go forth without him.” He stomped away toward the library and Sam wanted to follow, but something forced him to stay as Miracle ran after Dean.
‘Cannot go forth without him’ rang in Sam’s head. ‘Yes you can’ followed it.
“I don’t want to,” he whispered. “I really don’t want to.”
You stared at the empty carton of Triple Chocolate Ice Cream, and bit into your trembling bottom lip. You'd done it again, and hated yourself for it. You'd been on a diet for the last several months and had been doing decently well on it, minus the few times you'd stumbled and cheated on it. But, for whatever reason this time was the hardest, you didn't know what it was about this week, but you'd eaten almost everything thing in the house, including Kal, who eyeballed you from the living room. Letting out frustrated growl, you picked up that container and threw it, forcefully, into the trash under the kitchen sink and launched the spoon you'd used into the sink. You went into the private gym Henry had set up in the spare bedroom and decided to do a run on the treadmill for a while, and it did make you feel better for a little while. Until you went upstairs to take a shower and caught a look at your naked body in the full length bathroom mirror, freezing you into place and making you stare at yourself with giant eyes.
“How the fuck can Henry love this?” You gulped, licking your dry lips and blinking at the hot blinding tears welling up in your eyes.
“It's a lot easier than you think.” Henry's voice answered as he appeared in the bathroom doorway, he met your eyes in the mirror and had to take a deep breath before he got emotional seeing you cry. “You are incredibly beautiful, y/n.” He told you, moving closer behind you.
“You're only saying that cause you don't want to see me cry.” You told him, angrily wiping at your eyes and feeling silly. “You have the damn body of a Greek god, and I've got the body of a....play dough figure.”
Henry's eyebrows creased and he rested his hands on your hips. “It took me decades to get my body where it is right now, y/n.” He told you, his lips brushing the cove of your ear. “and you know that.” he said, his fingertips gliding over the curve of your sides, bringing his hands to rest on your shoulders. “and you also know how much I struggle to keep it this way. How many times have you caught me cheating on a diet, or found my stash...”
“You hide everything in your fucking shoe boxes.” You chuckled, despite the tears still in your eyes, knowing he was right. “You've always had a stronger will than me.”
“Like hell I have!” Henry laughed, pressing his lips to your shoulder. “I have to have a trainer beat my ass for months to get into shape, and stay in shape. You don't even use a trainer, you do it all on your own. I could never do that! If I didn't have my Trainer the most exercise I'd do was walking from the couch to the kitchen, or from my computer, as I played World of Warcraft, to the kitchen, or taking Kal on a walk to pee.” He kissed up your neck, his hands smoothing down your arms and wrapping his arms around your waist, pulling you back against him. “You hit the gym here at home, or with me, or on your own, every day. You get up an hour before me, and I already get up before the sun rises. You're so much better than me at cardio. You beat me by thirty minutes at the Durrell Challenge last year.” He listed all these things, as his hands wandered around your body, touching and caressing your skin and curves.
“You've lost almost all the weight you wanted to lose.”
“Yeah, and I'm about to gain it all back.” You sniffled, biting your lip and leaning back against him.
“No, you're not, Honey.” Henry whispered, ghosting his lips over the skin of your neck. “We all have our moments of weakness.”
“I ate an entire thing of Chocolate ice cream, a pizza, cookies and more chocolate.” You confessed, wiggling as Henry caressed your sides and stomach, touching ticklish spots. “And that's just today. I'm so hungry I could eat Kal.”
Henry dropped his head back, laughing. “I don't think Kal tastes all that good.” He chuckled, turning you around to face him. “He's mostly fur, than anything else.” He tried to get you to giggle, but didn't quite manage it, and he sighed. “I ate the rest of your chocolate cake from the restaurant last night.” he blurted out.
“You what?” You snapped, looking up at him, surprised.
“I ate it.” He nodded, pressing his lips together. “I was supposed to do my fasting cardio this morning. But, when I got up, I went into the fridge to make sure my shake was ready for me, after my workout, and I saw your cake and...I just couldn't help myself.”
“I thought I slept ate it.” You told him, mouth hanging open.
“No, babe. That was me, all me.” He explained, utterly abashed. “So, I didn't actually do my fasted cardio, and I've been sneaking Reese's cups.”
“That's why I found the wrapper under the driver's seat of the car!” You exclaimed, shocked.
Henry licked his lips and nodded his head. “Yeah. My Trainer chewed me out for it, cause I gained a kilo in the last month, and not of muscle.”
“Three pounds, Henry?” You asked him, surprised, you'd thought he'd been kicking his diet and exercise ass, doing so well and amazing at it.
“Yeah, I've been doing some stress eating, worried about the upcoming season of the Witcher.” He confessed to you, caressing your neck and twisting your hair around his fingers.
“Why didn't you tell me, you were struggling?”
“Why didn't you tell me you were struggling?” He countered, looking you in the eyes, deeply with such affection and empathy, it made you to start crying again. “I don't want you to be so hard on yourself. You deserve to be proud of yourself for everything you've done in the last months to lose weight. It's not an easy task to do, but I know you can do it, and can't be any prouder of you, y/n.” he told you, pressing his forehead to yours. “You can always tell me when you're having a hard time with it, or if you just need to talk to me about how you're feeling. I love you with all my heart and soul, y/n. I don't care what your body shape is. I care about what makes you happy, and I want to do anything and everything for you, and with you, to make sure you achieve that. Whatever it is.” He pressed his lips to yours in a tender, but meaningful, kiss.
“And if you're going to cheat on your diet,” he added, pulling back to look at you, his fingers brushing through your hair. “You better let me in on it,” he chuckled, smiling. “You always have the best cheat foods.”
You laughed at him, blushing like crazy. “I really do, don't I?” You nodded, biting your lip.
“Mind, if I share the shower with you?” he asked, stroking your skin. “I'm pretty dirty after my workout and run.”
“I'd share anything with you, Henry.” You told him, moving to turn on the shower. “I'm pretty icky myself, after running on the treadmill.”
Henry grinned, pulling you back against him, and kissing you with incredible passion, before dragging you into the shower with him. You melted feeling his hands on you as you rinsed the soap off your body. You looked up at him as he turned you around, feeling your knees become wobbly as you looked at him, dripping wet and glistening. He was nothing any Greek sculptor could carve out of marble, or any stone for that matter. Henry smirked at you, winked and slowly sank to his knees in front of you, the spray of the shower raining down his head and shoulders, as he wrapped both of his arms around your thighs, holding you in place as he pressed his mouth between your legs, making your let out a breathy giggle, feeling the tip of his tongue swirl around your clit. It was a damn good thing his arms were around your legs, or you'd have melted down the shower drain.
“You taste so good.” He moaned against you, making the vibration of his deep voice tickle you. “You are my favorite cheat meal, ever.” He told you, turning his head to suck on the very inner spot of your thigh. “I could devour, and worship, your body for life.” He turned his mouth back to your clit, cupping you in his mouth as his tongue slipped along the length of your lips, delving into your center to tease the growing wetness there.
“Oh, fuck all, Henry.” You gasped, arm shooting out to the shower wall to steady yourself, and Henry's arms hugged your legs tighter. “We're going to have to run this off, or at least, do some serious cardio.” You panted, your free hand tangling into Henry's wet hair.
“Cardio.” He whispered around you, moving one of his arms further around your leg, to move a hand between your legs and slip a finger inside of you from behind, making your head fall back, the cold shower water falling over you with a shiver, or was it Henry's mouth that made you shiver?
“Yes.” You panted, tightening your fingers in his hair, tugging on those wet curls and pressing his face a bit firm between your legs, as your orgasm mounted. “Please, Henry.” You whimpered, gulping as your body felt tingly and warm, despite the ice cold water, your knees gave a little bit and the hand you had on the shower wall, clenched Henry's shoulder with your nails digging into his skin. You dropped your head forward and looked down at him, seeing that he'd been looking up at you the whole time. “You hungry, bastard.” You laughed, then gasped sharply, feeling your orgasm washed over you, making you sway, feeling light and dizzy, your eyes rolling back into your head.
Henry stood up, wrapping his arms around your waist to support you, and kissed you. “I love you.” He whispered against your lips. “I love your body. I love your curves, and I love your soul.”
“I love how loving and supportive you are of me.” You answered, nipping at his bottom lip. “I love how you love me, even when I don't love myself.”
Cassie’s cell phone rang as she was getting ready for a training mission with Jacqui, Takeda, and Kung Jin. ‘Who the fuck even makes phone calls anymore?’ She thought to herself as she answered it.
“Cassie Cage.” she greeted.
Whoever was on the other line was panting furiously. Their breath and voice came out raspy. “It has to be you.”
“What? I think you have the wr-” Cassie started but was cut off when the person’s soft, womanly, voice cut her off.
“It’s Shinnok. He is going to poison the Jinsei!” The voice seemed truly frightened of what she was telling Cassie. Cassie could hear the terror and desperateness in every word she was hearing.
“Who is this?” Cassie more demanded than asked.
“It has to be you to fight him. No one else can defeat him.” The voice instructed.
“Okay, Crazy Daisy.” Another, man’s voice, came from the other end of the line.
“No! No!” The unknown girl cried, and it sounded like she was putting up a fight to stay on the phone. “It has to be you Cassie!” She all but screamed before the line died. Cassie looked at her phone to see which number had just called her. It was just a random set of numbers that she didn’t recognize. She closed her phone and made a mental note to look it up later.
///
After Cassie’s defeat of Shinnok she was even more interested in finding out who that number belonged to, but she never made anything of it. It wasn’t until, years later that she had a random flash of the memory that she had a stronger desire to find the person. After getting into the intel system and running the number she found that it belong to a mental hospital on the other side of the country. She furrowed her brows together. How could someone on the other side of the country know anything about what they were doing here at Special Forces? They always kept their missions on a need to know basis. And leaking information held heavy consequences. But whoever it was that called her knew what was going to happen before even SF intel did. Was that even possible? Hell, whoever was on line knew that Cassie was gonna be the one to fight Shinnok before even she knew. Cassie decided to take Jacqui with her on a ‘road trip’ to find this person.
///
Your episodes looked similar to someone who suffered from epilepsy. You curled over, usually back wards and fell to the floor. Your whole body shook while you struggled to breathe. You usually blacked out while your eyes rolled to the back of your head. Everything contorted - except your right arm. Your arm extended outwards while your fist shook furiously. Afterwards you were left with images in your head of something that hadn’t happened yet, but was sure to in the future. What only you knew was that if someone put a pen in your hand during these episodes, your hand’s tremors caused you to behave like a printer - each line your shaking hand made was just a small component to a bigger picture. An actual picture. Sometimes several.
///
You sat in your windowless room, in the corner, on the floor, and waited, slowly rocking yourself on your knees. Anything for some kind of comfort. Ever since you escaped your regular room and high tailed it to the office, punched out an office assistant and made a phone call to the Special Forces, you had been placed under high security lock down. Other than the times when you were let out to go to the bathroom, and when they opened the door to give you your food, the only times you were let out and saw the sun was when they were taking you out to undergo testing.
Testing, you swear, made you crazier than your ability did. The doctors’ go to was shock therapy. They always said that they were trying to ‘cure’ you. And they were under the assumption that it was working; after every ‘treatment’ you didn’t have an episode for over a week. At first they tried to go stronger, but that only resulted in you having an episode while you were still on the damn therapy table. So they have been trying weekly doses at a lower strength. It resulted in you not having an episode for several weeks. But while the episodes were painful and not really any fun at all, the shock therapy was worse. So when you finally had an episode it was really strong. It happened at night when no one really checked on you, so no one seemed to notice. It was the same one you had had before that you had tried to warn about.The next day you schemed to get out and get to the phone again. This time you HAD to call Cassie. The world depended on you reaching Cassie. You didn’t care what the consequences were, you had to get to a phone.
You were relieved when you managed to fight the administration workers and get to a phone. You dialed the number you saw during your episode and were elated when Cassie actually picked up the phone. You all but screamed your information at her. You continued to try to tell her while you tried to fight off the security that had come for you.
“Okay, Crazy Daisy.” They called you, which made you angry beyond belief and caused you to kick one of them in the balls for it. Then the other grabbed you and you tried to continue the warning you were trying to give. But they yanked you so hard that the cord from the phone was ripped out of the wall.
The punishment for what you did made them give you shock therapy everyday for a month. During this time, you tried your hardest to suppress the episodes. You tried your hardest to be normal. To be nice. In time, it won you back a cell with a real bed. A cell that you could see a window from. They even gave you a small notebook and a pen (both of which you kept under your new mattress). And visitation rights, should someone actually come who wanted to visit with you...it hadn’t happened yet, but just having the possibility made you happier.
The only trouble was that it was getting harder and harder to suppress the episodes. You tried to time them so that they were in the dead of night and in between guards rounds. So far it was working.
///
‘Crazy Daisy!” One of the security team got your attention from your cell. You hated that name so much. You swore that some day you were gonna cut those mens’ tongues out. “You got visitors.” He informed. You looked confused at him. You had never had a visitor in all the time you’d been sent to this place. Years and years. And you hadn’t seen any visitors during any of your episodes. So you were supremely suspicious. You got up and left the cell with the man to the visiting area.
The room was empty except for two young women. One fair haired and skinned. The other dark hair and skinned. You recognized the fair haired girl immediately.
“Cassie?” You asked as you entered the area. The two girls didn’t move from the table they were at, only eyeing you suspiciously. You warily came and sat down with them. It was silent. No one said a word. It was too tense, so you tried to cut the tension.
“So i’m guessing you beat Shinnok.” You said bluntly.
“How did you know that?” Jacqui asked aggressively. You looked down at the table.
“I don’t know how I came to be able to see. All I know is that I can.”
“Jacqui, she is clearly an ally.” Cassie said putting a reassuring arm on her friend to tell her to ease up. “She didn’t have to tell us anything. But she did. I’m guessing at great personal cost.” She assumed eyeing the state of the place and the demeanor of the guards and administration when they had first got there. You looked down. It was a great personal cost. Memories of biting the leather strap between your teeth for your life as electricity painfully surged through you ran through your thoughts. Both Cassie and Jacqui watched you sympathetically. Then Cassie pulled her phone out and made a call.
“General Cage here,” she greeted whoever was on the other line. “Bring back the chopper with room for one more. We have a new member on our team.” She said and your eyes opened as wide as they could and your jaw fell as the shock of what she had just said got to you. Was she bailing you out of here? No. It couldn’t be. It was too good to be true.
“You got stuff to pack?” She asked you. You looked at the ground, embarrassed, shaking your head. You had nothing except the notebook and pen in your pocket. They made it clear when you came to this place that you were nothing, and so you shall have nothing. Cassie nodded and then Jacqui and she pulled out their guns.
“Alright fellas, we’re gonna take this patient off your hands.” Cassie instructed. Everyone put their hands up immediately. They could all be dick bags to you, but the second a gun was waved around, they were all huge pussies. You smirked at all of them as you walked passed them, following Cassie while Jacqui closed up the rear.
And that is how you came to live at Special Forces.
An Animorphs Pride
Animorphs AU: An Animorphs Pride
Modern, Pride month, no powers, LGBT, school
[Written for @theandxlitebandits for the @the--abomination ‘s Animorphs Fic Exchange.
Characters: Animorphs (Jake, Cassie, Rachel, Tobias, Marco, Aximili)]
/////////////////////////////////////
My name is Jake. Jake Berenson. I’m bisexual.
Today was the day of our town’s Pride event. A parade, booths and games.
This is the first year my little ragtag group of LGBT+ people went. There’s me, a bisexual and cis male. There’s Marco, who’s bisexual and a demiboy. There’s Marco’s boyfriend Aximili, who we all call Ax. Ax just calls himself queer.
There’s my girlfriend, Cassie. She’s non-binary and pansexual. Then there’s Tobias, who’s a transgender male and polysexual. Lastly, my cousin Rachel, who’s cis female and asexual. Rachel and Tobias are dating—although if you asked either of them, they’ll deny it.
“So,” Marco swung his arm over Ax’s shoulders. “What’s the plan, cap?”
“Yes. Plan. Pl. laaaaan. Nn. Plaaaaan.” Ax grinned.
The three of us had just picked Ax up and were heading towards Tobias’s house. Tobias was still in the closet—literally. As I pulled up, I could see through the broken window in Tobias’s room that he was putting on his binder.
Marco wolf-whistled, giving me a grin as Tobias looked out the window. His hair was messy and he had one arm at his side. The other one was in the air like it was gonna give the closet a high-five.
“Put on a shirt!” Ax yelled helpfully. I facepalmed. I heard Tobias squeak above us before vanishing. Footsteps ran down the stairs. The door opened and Tobias slid in the back, a MCR shirt over his binder, now properly hidden.
Then we would go to Pride and meet Cassie and Rachel there. They had gotten a ride from Cassie’s mom, who thought we were going to an art museum then getting lunch.
I turned down the road, smiling as I saw people decked out in rainbow attire. Some held balloons, some wore crazy socks.
“Hey Tob,” I pointed at a teen wearing a trans flag as a cape.
“Awesome.” He whispered.
I parked the car and turned off the engine. We all hopped out. Marco wore a backpack that held sunscreen, water, food, and the very few Pride items we owned.
Cassie and Rachel jogged towards us. Rachel—unsurprisingly—held a camera in her hands. “Come on,” she urged. “Let’s go take some pictures by that statue!”
We took a few pictures by this statue of an old war general. Someone had given it rainbow shades and a gay flag draped over it’s horse.
I took out my bisexual pin, pinning it to my shirt. I handed Tobias his ‘he/him/his’ pronoun button. Cassie grabbed her ‘she/her’ and ‘they/them’ buttons. Marco grabbed his hat with the bisexual flag sewen onto it. Rachel took her flannel shirt off, revealing a “While you were busy experiencing sexual attraction, I studied the blade” tank top, which Marco had given her. Ax wore a small pride armband.
“Look!” Ax pointed to a float that was shaped like a giant Cinnamon bun. Marco grabbed his hand and dragged him over to a spot where they could see it better.
We all walked around, enjoying this chance to be out and proud.
Even though we lived in a “progressive” state, there were still things that happened here. A nasty look. Deliberate misgendering. A sharp remark.
I pulled Cassie closer as we all started walking across the street to get pizza. Once we passed through the gates, the air felt hostile. I opened the door to the pizza place as Marco cracked a joke, grinning as I stuck my foot out to try and trip him.
He hopped over my foot and I let the door close behind me. A woman walked over to us, holding a clipboard. “Welcome to Tony’s Pizzeria, may I take your order please?”
We told her our drink orders and Tobias pulled out his souvenir water bottle from The Gardens that Cassie had given to him for his birthday.
“May I have water, please?” He asked the waitress, who nodded but didn’t move to take it. He stared at her for a few seconds before she said, “Sir, I can’t take it until you take the cap off.”
“Oh.” Tobias said, ducking his head down in embarrassment. “Okay. Sorry.” He unscrewed the kid and handed the bottle to her.
“Be right back.” She walked off.
We chatted for a few moments. Cassie was telling a story of how she saved a baby goose when suddenly I heard a man behind me.
“Queer kids.”
My chest constricted and a cold wave washed down my body. Rachel snapped her gaze up, opening her mouth. Marco and Cassie both grabbed her arms. Tobias sunk into his seat a bit.
Ax looked at us. “What’s wr-wr-rrrrrrrrrrrong?” He asked. “Ong. On on on.”
“That guy just called us ‘queer’.” I muttered, watching him out of the corner of my eye. He looked like one of the cooks.
“Yeah. He said, ‘who’s gonna take the queer kids’.” Rachel growled. “Let go of me, Marco.”
Marco let go, but whispered. “We need a plan. Just Incase.”
“We run. We split then meet back up at that statue.” I said.
The others nodded. Tobias pulled his trans flag off and stuffed it into his backpack.
We ate silently once the pizza came, then stood up and left right when a group of adults came in adorning make up and pride flags and a lot of glitter.
Tobias turned back. “Shit!”
“What?” We looked at him.
“I left my water bottle in there.” His left hand started flapping. “The one Cassie got me!” I took his other hand. “Hey. I’ll go in with you, yeah? We’ll see if it’s still there.” Tobias looked distressed, but nodded, hand still flapping.
We entered and walked back to the booth we had sat in. There was no sign of the water bottle. “Excuse me,” I tapped on the waitress’s shoulder. She looked at me. “My friend left his water bottle in here—do you guys have a place where you keep things, like a lost-and-found?”
“I can check. Give me a minute.” She walked to the back. I rubbed circles on Tobias’s hand as he continued moving his other one, albeit more subtly.
“Sorry guys. It’s not there.” The lady frowned a gave a tiny shrug.
“Thank you.” Tobias gripped my hand and led me outside.
“Did you get it?” Rachel asked. Tobias shook his head. “We can go back and ask to look ourselves.” Marco suggested.
Tobias shook his head. “It’s fine.” He mumbled. He let go of my hand as Ax reached into his backpack and grabbed a fidget cube, handing it to Tobias without a word.
“The next time I go back, I’ll get you another one. Promise.” Cassie smiled at Tobias, who shrugged. “You don’t have to.” He said.
Rachel just shook her head and wrapped an arm around Tobias. “Let’s go and beat the crowds.”
Ax grinned. “Truck! Ruck. Tr. Tr. Ruck. Uck uck uck.”
I led the way back to my truck, turned on the engine, and everyone piled into the cab.
I drove as Cassie finished her story in the passenger side. Marco launched into more rounds of jokes. Tobias stimmed, mouthing words as he looked down into his lap. Rachel sat next to him, occasionally saying something. Ax was in the bed of the truck, just lying down.
My name is Jake. I have wonderful friends, who are all pretty cool. I’m just an average teenager. And I’m bisexual.
I’m so sorry if this is late! I’ve been busy helping my friend and just got the motivation to finish this!
Surprises and Androids
Lore: @voidandstarlight @emordnilap-fr @fr-dew @airris-fr @jedicreed-fr (you may be interested in this story about the girl I bought from Cyberlife!)
“You know what, I’m not even gonna ask how you got ‘em”
Matiu looked at Discordia with a raised eyebrow and his mouth slightly ajaw. His gaze then diverted to the sleek pale-and-crimson Skydancer beside her. It was a Skydancer, yeah? It sure looked like one to the unaware. They were even dressed up like a dragon would be, wearing a gorgeous scarlet dress and finished with a magenta ribbon around their neck. They were the definition of artificial beauty.
The small purple-and-green dragon groaned. “The same way other people purchase things dummy...gems.” She huffed. “No scamming involved this time, big man. Though Cassie seemed a little taken back when I told her I was purchasing an android with those gems.”
“No doubt she did!” Matiu spluttered. “They sure are something though...are they sentient...?”
“We’d have Melladion breathing down our necks if she was.” The tricky Nocturne snorted. “Here’s the manual from Cyberlife if you wanna find out. The engineer I bought her from did give me a lecture on maintenance, but I forgot.”
It was Matiu’s turn to groan. “Great. Right. Give it here.”
Matiu turned to read a few lines of the crumpled pamphlet. His eyes widened.
“Disc...Disc. This is a-”
“WR Four Hundred. A right stunner and perfect companion for the classy gentleman who couldn’t woo his own imposter to save his life.” Discordia grinned and turned to face the android. “If I remember right they said something about this circle on their head that’s something to do with their actions. See if you can find it in the manual.”
“...what got into your head to make you think of this?” The amnesiac Bogsneak questioned.
The horned Nocturne sighed. “A while ago in a time you can’t remember, you told me of a woman you met whilst you travelled in a gang. You said you missed her dearly. I hoped...” Her head lowered. “I hoped this woman could help you come to terms with loving again...without the whole moping about loving another dragon again cause this one...she’s more than a dragon. She’s special.”
Matiu blinked. “Wow. I really don’t know what to say to that but... thank you for looking out for me. I... uh, I wish I could remember-.” He smiled lightly as the Nocturne playfully slapped a hand to his mouth.
“Yeah yeah get sentimental later. Help me set this gal up.”
It didn’t take long for the android to be programmed, and it was slightly easier than expected. Discordia grinned widely at the icy Bogsneak.
“So come on! What are ya gonna name her?” She prodded him.
“Wait, wait a moment.” He picked up the manual again and took a deep breath.
“Register Name;” He continued. “Ivory.”
The android shivered for a brief moment. Then the two dragons look at each other in confusion, but then turned to watch as the synthetic life-form booted herself into life. The circular LED on the side of her head glowed bright blue and she looked directly to Matiu. A soft, feminine voice escaped her lips.
“Hello dearest. Matiu. I’m glad you’ve made it here to see me at last.”
Discordia whooped. “Well, looks like I’ll leave you both to do as you please.” She snorted. “...just keep it down when the town’s sleeping, ‘kay?”
Matiu wasn’t even bothered by the small tricksters farewell departure. His eyes transfixed on the Skydancer in front of him. She smiled back softly, biting her synthetic lip flesh gently with her polished teeth. He was trapped in a state of bewilderment, and another he tried desperately to recognise. He felt it before, and he felt it again for this android. He gave way and leaned forward to take her hand. She obliged, and the two began to walk calmly outside into the quiet garden bathed in the setting sun of new love.
(@asktheoger) Aya @ Meg "Ooooh!! Your necklace is so pretty and sparkly!!" The Ogerpon gijinka complimented the human. "Do you like mine???" She holds up the star-shaped pendant around her neck
Meg took a moment to process what Aya was saying. The gijinka's words came off as a mixture of tongues, some words Meg could understand, while others in a language Meg was not familiar with. Thankfully, context clues were enough to clue Meg in to Aya's compliment and question.
"You like my necklace, do you? Why thank you. It was a gift from my mother. We got it from the Mossdeep Space Station gift shop when I was just a kid." Meg knelt down a little to get a closer look at Aya's necklace. "Oh my, your necklace is quite pretty too. I love the way it sparkles! Did you find that yourself or did someone give it to you?"
"Oh! But first." Before Aya could respond, Meg pulled out her Rotom Phone from her pocket. "Cassie, would you be a dear and help translate for me?" Meg looked back at Aya and smiled. "Sorry, I'm afraid fluency in non-human tongues isn't very common where I come from. But Cassie here will help clear that right up for us."
[pm] Sorry we totalled your house.
@deathsdoorman
[pm] You know, it wasn’t even that pretty. I don’t think I would’ve wanted to sleep anywhere near Hannah in the first place.
Thanks for making sure we didn’t die.
Even in the blinding snow and cold that bit so hard she could barely keep her eyes open, Cassidy knew the profile of the man standing a few yards in front of her. Red brows arched in mild surprise as she caught sight of him, in the back yard of the house the bunker was build in.. but her lips curved into the slightest smile despite herself. Despite the surprise or the fact that she often pretended to not be able to fucking stand the irish man. Despite the way her split lip flared a bit at the motion. She hadn't seen Garth in.. shit. At least three weeks. Not since before she was holed up with a broken rib and god knew what else. She hadn't seen much of anyone, having been in Alexi's room for most of it. She’d be fucking lying if she said it wasn’t damn good to see the man. "Well well, you don't call, never wr-" Her sarcastic quip was cut short as the wind screamed again. Bracing herself from a particularly strong gust that sent red hair flying and several clothing and glasses behind her falling to the floor of the messy bunker, Cassie coughed hard. Flinching abruptly as the pain spasmed through her, she pulled the door open further, jerking her chin.
"You're comin' in or you're getting locked out there, Irish." The redhead wheezed. There was once a time they'd bicker, or she'd keep him at arms length when they weren't wrapped up in one another. But for now, Cassie didn't have the energy or the stamina to play that game. At least not in the freezing cold.
(Cherry@Both) The flaafy approached both humans with a smile, “Your outfits are super cute! What made you decide on these clothes?”
Cassie beeped as she translated Cherry's message to Kyo and Meg. Meg squealed in excitement and clasped her hands together. "You like our outfits? Oh, thank you! I wasn't entirely sure what to wear but I wanted to do something different than what I usually travel in. It's nothing super fancy, but it's nice to have a different outfit for a change."
Kyo crossed her arms and scratched her neck a bit at the compliment. "Thank you," she mumbled awkwardly. Was she... self-conscious? "I don't normally wear stuff other than my uniform. It's what we're required to wear when on base, you see. But the host, Nathaniel, requested I wear something that wasn't that when I visit the island in the future, so I picked something I thought most appropriate from the small selection of casual-er clothes I have." Kyo scratched her Meowstic's head a bit then added in a quiet voice. "I just really like Meowstic."
