Honestly one of my favourite casual forms of humour is. Referring to catholic saints as of they're my pals. Not in a disrespectful manner, mind you, I'm a believing and practicing Catholic myself, and I think that's why it's so funny to me. I've been referring to saint Dominic Guzmán as simply "Guzman" for over a month. He's like a friend to me.

The smell of salt alerts Time to something amiss. The cub is missing, as is Twilight. His protege is scouting the area, so there’s nothing to worry about there.
Link, or Wild as the wolves nickname him, should be in the den-cave.
The hollow holds his scent, but the boy is missing. Breathing deeply, Time follows the scent of tears.
The hero curses the goddesses as often as he thanks them. The curses are for the blank slate of a child stuffed into an empty shell and burdened to save a crumbling land. The gratitude is that he and Twilight are allowed to help ease the burden, even in some small way.
The salt is getting stronger and his ears flick at the sound of stifled sobs. Twilight might have an edge on him as far as stealth, but he’s growing better at hiding his golden bulk and softening paw steps.
Wild’s found a crack between two trees growing together and crammed himself inside. Time questions how he manages to fit, but fit he does.
His sobs are quiet, barely more than shuddering breaths and shaking shoulders. Even new to the world, Wild quickly learned silence can keep him safe.
Of course, Twilight and Time do their best to protect him. Sometimes he’ll hum along with Twilight's howled songs. The intelligence in his sharp gaze is clear, but he struggles to speak.
Neither wolf can sign like this, but Twilight is adept at transferring words into motions and actions. Time picks it up quickly and finds instincts fill in the holes.
Wild, thankfully, picks it up nearly as quickly. The flick of his ears clearly shows when he’s listening but ignoring them. He growls and huffs and snorts in clear mimicry of their vocalizations.
He’s a sponge for information; if only it came from hylians and not wolves. Hyrule is empty of all but animals so far. There’s traces of humanity, but it will take time to find them.
Silence fills the woods and Time focuses on Wild again to find wide eyes staring back. He presses further into his hollow, ears pinning back.
Okay, Time tries to say, wagging his tail. Okay, not angry.
There’s no reason for the cub to feel guilty, but it seems to be a default emotion.
He tilts his head, letting one ear flop and giving a little whine to get the point across. What’s wrong?
Wild bares his teeth in clear dismal, but doesn’t back it up with a growl.
Time whines again and edges closer. Not leaving.
Sniffling breaks the standoff and Wild scrubs at his eyes. “Scared.” The Hylian word is rough, but it makes sense at least.
He whines again. Why?
Curse that he can’t have the conversation he needs with the cub. A wolf’s vocabulary is limited, especially when trying to provide explanations.
The next words are garbled and Wild flaps a hand vaguely, obviously annoyed. The tree hollow is doing him no good, so Time pokes his head in and gets his teeth on a corner of the tunic, tugging.
The cub tumbles out in a sprawl of limbs, but doesn’t get up. The tears are starting again, tracing lines down his cheeks.
Time doesn’t hesitate to crawl half on top of Wild, trying to convey with weight and body heat that the other is not alone.
Fingers twine into his fur and Wild buries his face in his ruff.
Sad, says his body. But more than that, guilt, worry, shame. The tense set of his shoulders is all too familiar; Time’s worn the same expression.
Cub?
“Zel…Zelda.”
He stiffens, then relaxes consciously when Wild tenses in response.
“Zelda. Failed. My fault.” Worry, guilt, fear.
Oh, Cub. Time lets his head fall heavy on Wild’s chest. Hylia asks too much of this new spirit. If only he could explain that Wild did nothing wrong. He might not know the history of this empty world, but Wild is a Link. He sees the same dedication reflected in Twilight. None of them would give up, no matter how bad the odds.
Time can say none of this, though. Instead, he licks fresh tears away and lets the cub hide his face in his fur.
Wild deserves a real family, but Time and Twilight will have to do.

Febuwhump 2024, Day 19: Twi, Time, Shade (Chain) - “Please Don’t”
Fandom: LOZ/Linked Universe
Consequences on not telling Time the full truth was lurking in the woods between Twilight and Time's eras. Pulling Time to the side to tell him of the Hero's Shade, there's an attack on camp, forcing the secret to come out in the worst way.
CW: blood, injury, language, self sacrifice
Apparently I have a pattern of hurting Twilight in some kind of way when Shade enters a story.
“Guys, wake up. Anyone know this place?” Legend asked as he and Wild sat around the cooking pot. They had just shifted while most of them were asleep.
Twilight looked around curiously. “It feels familiar, but too young to be my era. Time, is it yours?”
The Old Man took a deep breath in, scanned across the new forest, then let out his breath. “Feels too old to be mine. Could be in a between era.”
Twilight blanched at that. That could be the worst thing to happen since that meant Sh- Nope, he was over thinking it too quickly. “Did either of you scout out around here?”
Wild kept stirring, but pointed in a direction. “Yeah, there’s a road about half a mile from here. Seemed to be well used, but it was too early in the morning for people to be using it.”
“I’ll go see if anyone is there now.” Twi tried to stand to make his way to the road, but Wild swiftly pointed his ladle at him with a fierce look.
“After. Breakfast.” The steely look had Twilight consciously sitting back down like a good boy. He was not going to piss off his Cub when it came to everyone being fed. A few others snickered and giggled and all got the same look from Wild. He really could be terrifying.
Wild made a feast of a meal for them: Crepes, oatmeal, omelets, toast, honey and nut fruit and of course an assortment of drinks that everyone liked. Even with the great smelling food in hand and a hungry stomach, Twilight was having issues forcing the food down.
Thankfully his own mentor had mercy on him. “Come on, you're too antsy and it’s killing me to see.”
The unknown bad choice of words could have made Twilight run for the trees to bring everything back up, but then he wouldn’t have been allowed to leave camp. Instead he put on his normal clothes, sword on his back, then waited as Time finished putting on his armor.
The walk was silent outside of Twilight’s heart pounding in his ears and the birds singing in the trees. That was until Time broke the silence. “Alright Pup, what has you so worked up?”
“I don’t know what you mean.”
“I know you are lying and hiding something. You get the same crease in your forehead Malon does. Spill it.” Time grabbed the young man’s shoulder, bringing them both to a stop.
Twilight took several long breaths to calm himself and to figure out the words. “This is going to be hard to tell you, specifically you.”
“Harder than telling me that we are related, can shapeshift and that I somehow trained you in my future?” Time gave a half amused smile.
Oh if he only knew… “Yes.”
Time straightened up, full attention on his descendant. “I’m listening.”
“I didn’t tell you the full truth of how you ended up training me in the future.” Why did he have to do this now?! “You didn’t time travel to my era to train me.”
“How can that be if we are an unknown hundred of years apart?”
“Just… When we met, you weren’t exactly al-” A howl nearby stopped him short. His eyes blew wide.
Time grabbed the hilt of his sword. “Wolfos?”
“N-no” Twilight spun around. “I know that howl.”
Paws making contact with the forest floor could be heard getting closer, making Twi’s heart nearly leap from his chest. A flash of gold had Twilight racing for it.
“Pup, wait!” Time was no spring cucco, but he kept up with the younger.
Twilight zig-zagged through the trees, catching the briefest amount of gold and white. “Shade, wait up!” he hollered, but the wolf stayed out of sight. When he no longer could see where he went nor could hear him, Twilight stopped.
Time stopped with him, slightly panting. “Friend of yours?”
A yip had both men’s heads turning. Standing a few feet away was the wolf in all his golden glory. Twilight knelt down move eye level, “Are you going to just sit there or are you going to get over here and say hi?”
A few bounding steps later and the wolf had his front legs draped over Twilight’s shoulder. Shade rubbed his head against the other’s neck, giving slight whines as if saying he missed him. There were a few licks to Twilight’s hairline before the Hylian stood up, wolf still hanging on his shoulders, showing that he was taller than the younger.
“Pup, you are aware that he is a spirit, right?” Time asked, eyeing the giant wolf carefully.
“I know, but how do you know?”
Time opened his white eye, pointing to the marked side of his face. “He sees all.”
That gave a chill down Twilight’s spine. “Did he tell you who Shade is?”
“No, he only gave an all too delighted laugh.”
Shade’s ears perked up and did a slight swivel. A low baritone grumble came from his chest. He pushed off of Twilight’s shoulder and seemed to be tuning into whatever he was hearing. Twilight closed his eyes, filtering out the noises around him to get a longer range.
There was metal clashing, hollering and the screeching of monsters. “Ambush… Camp!” Twilight and Shade bolted in the direction of the others, Time right behind them.
When the two heroes broke into the clearing of camp they saw seven heroes all armed and surrounded by a mix of different era’s monsters. Giving a gruff-snarl, Shade led the attack as he literally dove into the horde. The action had Legend screaming like a kit and Twilight was not going to let that slip away later.
The camp turned into a bloodbath as more and more monsters swarmed in from all sides. It wasn’t an impossible fight, just one that they weren’t prepared for since most of them were still in their night clothes.
Twilight made sure to keep an ear out for everyone, especially Shade. Not everyone would right away think ‘Friend’ when seeing a red eyed wolf covered in blood. He knew first hand how badly that could go, seeing that he went through that exact thing after his adventure, forgetting that Ordon hadn’t been told yet of his ability to shift and they already had nightmares from when the children were taken and a wolf had been stalking around that time. That wolf had been him, but he was there to protect, not harm. They didn’t know and he paid the price. He would never blame them either.
Somehow in the fray Twilight became overrun with monsters and was brought down to his knees. His sword was ripped from him while at the same time a heavy foot flattened him onto his back. One of Wild’s silver Moblins was pressing its weight against his chest, club high in the air. The monster roared and Twilight matched it, but not out of fear. Twilight roared in defiance.
He didn’t know how it happened, but he knew why and when it happened. The fight unexpectedly turned, drawing the attention of the monsters to someone else. That someone else was Shade, but the wolf was now the skeleton Twilight had been trained by.
He stood tall as a fully armored in gold metal, sword drawn, single red eyed stalfos. To the rest of them, this would seem to be a Boss Stal that happened to be out in the open. He locked his gaze on his descendant and made his way over in large strides, ignoring fights around him.
As Warriors went to be the first to strike, Twilight hollered, “Wait!”
Shade caught the blade’s edge with his metal covered hand. He didn’t strike back, only shoved the captain away. Time was at his backside, sword already slashing at his side and it forced him towards Warriors who tried again to land a hit. With the power behind Time’s swings, Shade had to pull his weapon, but to defend himself.
It was irrational for Twilight to think something could happen to the Hero’s Shade as if he could be more dead, but he was not going to risk the chance of talking to his mentor again after everything. He didn’t think he could handle seeing metal and bones fall to the dirt. And what would happen if they did? What would happen to Twilight as a baby since Shade was the one to care for him in the woods before leaving him at Rusl and Uli’s door? Would Twilight still win against Ganondorf?
Would Twilight fail the legacy Time started? He would damn himself, but not the legacy created by a child who held the weight of the world on his shoulder yet still died with regret. He could never.
Twilight’s mind screamed for his original mentor. ‘No! Please, don’t! How can you not see who he is?!’
With everything happening so quickly, the Moblin holding Twilight down had looked away, foot relaxing some on his chest. The monster was still big, but Twilight just twisted his body enough to get a shot with his foot to the things jambags. It worked to his surprise. Sword in hand, the Moblin’s head fell to the ground.
Twilight looked up at Shade who was deflecting Warriors and Sky while Time readied another deadly blow. With his mind still irrationally thinking, Twilight ran to stop the fight, but it was about to be too late. He wasn’t going to make it.
Time had his Biggoron Sword thrusting forward and Twilight knew the other was too far into the motion to stop, so he did the one thing he could think. He just prayed that Time would forgive him if he survived.
“Shade!!” Twilight was one more step away.
The Stal turned around to his name being called, his eye locked onto Twi and the sword headed now for both of them. It was all in slow motion.
The Ordonian had no fear as he jumped that last step, flinging his arms over the golden armored skeleton into the resemblance of a hug. At the same moment Time’s blade was run through Twilight’s back, coming out his chest and imbedding into Shade’s chest plate. Twilight sucked in a stuttered and pained breath, sagging into the boney arms that wrapped around him as they both fell.
The sword jossiled as they landed, Twi on top, and he screamed at pain that slowly subsided as he went into shock. He looked between them, grabbed the blade and stood, removing the tip from the other. Twilight swayed on his feet as the battle continued around him, hands now bleeding from the sharp edge he was still holding onto and now pushing out of himself until he heard it clatter onto the ground behind him. Straightening up, he mouthed an apology to his former mentor before he couldn’t hold himself up anymore, going to his side.
Shade was up and holding Twilight in his arms before he hit the ground again. He looked around at his old companions seeing that there were many of them injured and Hyrule was going to be needed for those. He only had one choice and he wouldn’t fail or so help him he would fight every damn goddess and god there was! He laid the boy on the ground, trying to ignore the sounds of him sucking in breath and blood into his lungs. Shade placed his hands on the ground drawing in only as much magic as he needed. The grass around him shriveled and died as they gave their essence to him. Muscle and flesh formed under his armor though his clothes stayed tattered and torn.
Feeling his body reformed, he removed his broken helmet, throwing it to the side. He didn’t care how many enemies were left or who was now jaw dropped at the sight of who he was, what he had become. He didn’t care about the shock his younger self was still in. All he cared about was his Pup. Tearing the boy's tunics open more to access the wound, Shade saw how dire the situation really was and honestly Twilight should have already died from it.
With his death, Shade didn’t just become the Hero's Shade. The Lost Woods had granted him the power to protect the forest, to give and take life inside of it. That didn’t mean only for the things inside the forest originally, but the people who entered with ill intentions too. He was a deity in a different form than the one inside the mask he carried when alive. He placed a hand over the wound and one on the ground. He pulled magic from every living thing outside of the last few monsters and the boys. The tree’s bark rotted as the leaves turned brown. The grasses grew dry, critters that hid in the ground were consumed as well. It physically hurt him to do this, but he promised to restore it all.
Looking over his shoulder he shouted, “Leave some of the monsters alive! Restrain them!” To give life was to take life. Different shades of green magic swirled over his hand touching the ground, absorbing it, then releasing it into the boy’s chest. Twilight thrashed as the magic worked to stitch him back up.
“Twilight!!”
“Wild no!” Time went to grab Wild by his belt, barely making it to him when Shade’s hand swiped from the ground, upwards. Deep underground roots sprang up, blocking the Cub from getting too close.
“If you get too close, the magic will jump to you and I can’t afford that, not when he is barely alive.”
“What happened?” Hyrule asked.
“I- he-”
“No point in pointing fingers when what is done is done and even more so when it was no one's fault.” Shade snapped.
Twilight stopped moving, stopped breathing, heart nearly a flutter if that. His eyes were open, but no light shined in those blues.
“Come on Pup, take a breath, just one.” Shade closed his eyes and with a yell, pulled an extreme amount of magic from his surroundings. The trees snapped in half, forcing the boys to move closer so as to not be crushed. Shade gave away some of the magic he had used to bring himself back, revealing the wounds he had received during his final battle, including the fatal gash that went all the way across his midsection.
He could feel the wound closing the last bit all the way through and he pushed it slightly over to where his boy’s heart was lying still in his chest. Knowing that he was draining near his limit, he raised his left hand from the ground, raised it up in the air and swiftly slammed the magic overtop of where Twilight’s heart was.
“BREATHE!!”
Twilight’s eyes shot open, back arched off the ground, mouth drawing in gurgled air. Shade turned him to his side where the younger began to heave, globs of blood spewing onto the dirt before being turned back over.
“You irresponsible child! I kept you alive from the age of one up until I could teach you everything I knew, past fighting Ganon and this is the shit you do?! What were you thinking?!” He gave the boy a shake, wanting to knock some sense into him. All he got was a bloody smile. “Why are you smiling?”
“I missed you.”

The platonic yanderes I've mentioned before all have nicknames and relationships with their bby (a.k.a. you, the reader!). How they met their bby is considered a special, life-changing moment in their eyes, and they are protective in their own... special... ways. But that story will come at a later date. For now, I think I should delve into some smaller stuff , so let's explore the type of humor and nicknames between these platonic yans and their bby:
• 🧡Wolverine/Logan Howlett🦡: nicknames for his bby: pup, bub, darlin', shortstack (regardless of if you are shorter than him or taller than him)
Nicknames his bby gives him: Lo, Old Guy, Wulv, Mr. Cigarette Duet (the bby might have either been testing the waters with that one, or under anesthesia. People say weird things under that stuff)
Their humor: dry humor and small quips
• 🦁Sabretooth/Victor Creed🦷: nicknames for his bby: cub, fresh meat, whelp, kitten
Nicknames his bby gives him: Vic, Large Lion Man, Shere Khan, Mr. Backstabber (both literally and metaphorically, bby has seen him do both, it was messy)
Their humor: cat puns
• 🦡Wolverine 2.0/Laura Kinney💛: nicknames for her bby: fox, pearl, sibling-in-arms, honeybee
Nicknames her bby gives her: Laurel, Kin-ship, Baby Claws, Little Badger
Their humor: stand up comedy (where you pretty much do a spoken caricature of your life, poking fun at it, or something that happens to you)
• 🐺Daken/Akihiro🌀: nicknames for his bby: beautiful, doll, handsome, my favorite (insert sexuality/gender)
Nicknames his bby gives him: Wolf Guy, Seducter, Nature's Child, Lone Wolf (the bby calls him Seducter because they found out about his pheromone ability. And yeah, the bby poked fun at the fact it failed on the bby, because they aren't attracted to him in the least like that)
Their humor: quips and movie references
• 🔥Marvel Girl/The Phoenix/Jean Grey🦚: nicknames for her bby: sunshine, dear, sweetie, firecracker
Nicknames her bby gives her: Miss Marvelous, Venus, mind games, Jeanie
Their humor: inside jokes
• 😎Cyclops/Scott Summers🚨: nicknames for his bby: kiddo, shortstuff, kid, gremlin
Nicknames his bby gives him: Scout, Shades, Laser-Light, Ruby in the Rough (bby wanted him to feel good about his power, so they say those nicknames in a nice fashion)
Their humor: puns all the way
• 🥈Cable/Nathan Summers🤖: nicknames for his bby: tiny, powerhouse, tyke-bomb, brat (he means these nicely, even if he is gruff and stern)
Nicknames his bby gives him: Back To The Future, Terminator, Metal Man, Mr. Robocop (bby couldn't help themself, they saw so many nickname opportunities)
Their humor: banter and witty remarks
• 🎭Mystique/Raven Darkholme💙: nicknames for her bby: child, precious, dear, little heathen
Nicknames her bby gives her: Karma Chameleon, Blue, enchantress, The Blue Fairy
Their humor: witty and dry remarks
• 🎱Rogue/Anne-Marie🥀: nicknames for her bby: suga', hun, love, sweetheart

Their humor: Southern stand up comedy and phrases ("sweet Southern heat is not just a flavor", "sweeter than apple pie", and jokes of all the various animals found in the South, especially in weird and concerning places)
• ♠️Gambit/Remy LeBeau♥️: nicknames for his baby: Ace of Spades, imp, bebe, ma moitie
Nicknames his bby gives him: King of Hearts, Sugar and Spice, trickster, Jack
Their humor: poking fun at languages and their relationships (the English and French language are hard to master. Good job if you understand half of it, or even a little of it)
• 🌌Nightcrawler/Kurt Wagner😇: nicknames for his bby: angel, treasure, friend, beauty
Nicknames his bby gives him: doll-baby (it is a Southern nickname, it means sweet, charming, and innocent, in my area), Angel of the Night, fluffball, Blue (Da Ba Dee)
Their humor: pranks. Pranks all around
These are all my opinion, and if you get the references, great job! If not, that is okay! These were my ideas of nicknames and humor for previously mentioned platonic yanderes (plus their bby's nicknames for them!). I hope you enjoyed these platonic yandere honeycomb thoughts!

They deserve to go feral, as a treat
I was inspired
Someone asked who of the kids are most likely to go bad in the wake of Jimmy-boys villain arc, and 5/7 of em could very much go bad if they tried, and I gave all of them reasons as to why and how they would be evil
So here’s the evil guys
Also all of these exist in separate universes from each other, we don’t have five supervillains running amok at the same time lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Watcher Liana
Liana has the watcher gene who most commonly in the fandom is depicted as not very nice guys, plus the hurt and betrayal of her dads would leave her impressionable to their words
Power: Clairvoyance, pupeteering, mind control, space warping
Status of the world: Hermitcraft, Empires, and the death servers have all been combined through a multitude of rifts. Hardcore rules, and some people are under her influence and out for blood
Weakness: Can be subdued if wearing the blindfold
Victims: Grian, BigB, Jimmy, Pearl, Martyn, Gertrude
Danger level: Severe
Tumblr media
Wes of the under
Wes would be a villain who like, wouldn’t see himself as bad. Wes is a protector, and he’s also naturally anxious and fearful, so he’d do anything to protect the people he loves, even if it means hurting others.
Powers: Durability, Teleportation, Invisibility, Fire Immunity, Imp scouts
Status of the world: People avoid going underground and entering caves like the plague. The underground is a complicated tunnel system, a maze to anyone that isn’t apart of the imp hive mind. All of the kids, and some hermits and emperors, are missing
Weakness: Doesn’t kill, and will do anything to stop himself from doing so
Victims: None
Danger level: Medium, can be reasoned with
Tumblr media
Princess Gertrude
Gertrude has also been hurt deeply, by both of her dads. She’d want control over her own life, and the best way to do that is to take ultimate control. Her dad has gone evil king twice, and she is a fairytale fanatic. What’s stopping her from going evil princess?
Power: Werewolf transformation, wolf army, influence over many powerful hermits, redstone skills
Status of the world: A dystopia with her at the top. Taxes are high, as is the threat of death. She has access to both X’s and fWhip’s admin controls, so she rules the world with her iron paw, and is quick to crush any rebellion
Weakness: Silver coated arrows
Victims: Grian, Xisuma, fWhip, Scar, Impulse, Pearl, Gem, Mumbo, Beef, Wels, Iskall, Katherine, Pixl, Joel, Liana, Wes
Danger level: Medium of alone. Very high if with her wolf army, or in her werewolf form
Tumblr media
Jekiv the undead
Jekiv is a literal necromancer zombie without a soul, and little care for most people, with heavy daddy issues. The only thing actually keeping him from going villain is that Cleo raised him well
Powers: Full control of an undead army, dark magic, able to dismember and reattach his limbs
Status of the world: Zombie apocalypse dystopia. Zombies and Skeletons are immune to the sunlight, so they roam the overworld killing anything and all that they can. Most people have moved into isolated bunkers.
Weakness: Physically vulnerable. Able to be overpowered if you get his scythe away from him
Victims: Every other witch, including Shubble
Danger level: High
Tumblr media
Novo, lord of ice
Novo is a Jinx. He’s already dealing with a lot of mental damage, so all it would take was something to make him snap and he’d loose it entirely, hurting people without even realizing it.
Powers: Freezing Water, freezing objects, creating Ice and Snow from nothing, giving life to snow and or ice, telekinetic manipulation of frozen water, creating an eternal winter
Status of the world: A frozen wasteland stuck in an eternal winter. Polar bears and strays roam freely, attacking on sight. People stay in underground grottos and homes, trying to preserve any warmth they can.
Weakness: Fire
Victims: Gertrude, Liana, Doc, Jevin, Xb, Cleo, Cub, Wels, Gem, Sausage, Katherine
Danger level: High, might accidentally kill you
Minor notes: The thing that made Novo snap was accidentally Killing Gertrude, a la Elsa style. His cloak, the only thing that’s not completely frozen, was hers. Jekiv and Gertrude are villains less because of something that happened, and more of they were raised differently. Liana is because of manipulation by the watchers, and idk with Wes.
Also shout out to Jassy and Johnny, who not only avoided going bad, but also remained alive in all five realities. Gg

Miraculous: Tales of the Jungle Book - AU crossover
Tumblr media
Mowgli and Tikki - Ladybug
Tumblr media
Lala and Plagg - Chat Noire
Artwork by joesanchez involving the most underrated Jungle Book adaptation out there.
It all for free on YouTube no less. Search Jungle Book Nantoons and enjoy a hidden 1980s gem.
So... yeah. In a world of IP renewals and brand management, I wouldn't put it past Disney to try and cash in on The Jungle Book where Mowgli becomes superheroes with his friends not unlike The Lion Guard. Basically cashing in on Marvel and Miraculous all the while.
My idea would be a fifty-two episode animated series adapting concepts from Miraculous with some story and character beats from Jungle Book Shonen Mowgli. The first season would be a relaxed pace of thirteen self-contained episodes that lay the foundation for a much meatier Season 2 and onwards involving our Cat Noir to be.
So… what about the she-wolf turned catgirl?
Lala is based on Leela, a minor character from Rudyard Kipling's novel, and expanded on in an minor on again, off again role as Mowgli's, well, mean girl. The Chloe Bourgeois to Mowgli's Marinette. So... why here as Chat Noir...e?
Well... it homages the original plan for Felix to be the Cat bearer rather than Adrien with him being standoffish towards Marinette. Here it's more like Lala sees a need to prove herself against Mowgli and vice versa.
As Chat Noire, Lala is a lot more “likable” towards Ladybug both as a means to work together and to show the hidden depth beneath the priss she parades herself as.
It would play into the overall themes of identity and belonging, especially when new enemies enter the fray.
As for the premise:
”Deep in the heart of India, a pack of wolves help uphold the Law of the Seeonee Jungle with special jewels bestows upon them and allies of other species. These Miraculous were created in a time when man and wild lived together. When harnessing the power of the Kwamis, they deemed that a bearer would assume a human form if they weren't of man already.
This was to preserve secrecy of who had the jewels and the power themselves. Animals were considered suitable since humans already tended to underestimate their kind already.
However, a nasty vie for power in what would be known as the Cold Lair resulted in a schism between humans and the wild for generations to come. A new policy was decreed: the Miraculous could not be trusted with humans lest the world falls to ruin.
Shere Khan the Tiger, one such ally once upon a time, betrays them with the Butterfly Miraculous of Empowerment and slays Alexander the bearer of the Ladybug Miraculous. The fallen hero is survived by his wife and three sons, one of whom is an adopted human boy named Mowgli.
Inspired by his father's sacrifice, Mowgli becomes a young man-cub trained by Alexander’s closest friends in the ways of the wild and eligible to be considered as a Miraculous bearer. Other young wolves step up to be considered as future defenders of the Jungle as Tikki and Plagg scout them for potential heroes to face Shere Khan, now declaring himself as Hawk Moth.
Meanwhile, the power of destruction would go to somebody that would make the mystics themselves roll in their graves.
As Akela's granddaughter, Lala grew up to be a bitch in every sense of the human's derogatory term. She was often quick with a cutting remark and to take out her bad mood on others. Lala could also be a bit of diva when it came to holding her head up a touch too high. For older pack members, they knew that she was only going through what they saw as a tomboy phase with the lack of a mother figure. For younger members... no, she was pain full stop.
Especially towards Mowgli the man-cub. She'd often cut into his hunts if they crossed paths and show him up, especially to rub in how he'd never be a real wolf. The man-cub would hardly take it up the tailbone but rarely got the last word in. Lala was the most vocal to object to him joining the pack and even challenged him to hunt more prey than her to present to Akela if she wanted his vote.
Her grandfather agreed to this if only to propose that the younger members perform a hunting excersise as a way to prepare for Shere Khan. In truth, this was a cover for the Kwamis to scout their promising new bearers. Plagg found himself drawn to Lala when it came to her attitude and related to how she didn't care about how others saw her. His hand was forced when Tabaqui was akumatized by Shere Khan, now Hawk Moth, and turned into a rock beast.
Stone Heart interrupted Lala's hunt and chased her through the woods. Quick thinking and dodging bought her time to hide before Plagg revealed himself. Lala recognized the Miraculous as that of her father's, Vermillion, and felt her bravado get its second wind. Plagg was about to explain it all when she snatched the ring and slipped it onto her wrist, the camouflage charm allowing it to seem like any other accessory.
"Plagg, Claws Out!" Lala shouted. Plagg protested but was soon drawn into the Miraculous and transformed the wolf into a half-human half cat heroine. She even struck a pose upon revealing herself to Stone Heart as if she'd rehearsed for this very moment.
Chat Noire, as she declared herself, had trouble using her extendable staff and found herself on the run again. She was saved by her agility spiking but soon found herself on a cliff. Mowgli bailed her out with his boomerang and even caught her in his arms much to her embarassment. However, Stone Heart soon came crashing down. By instinct, Chat Noire grabbed Mowgli and extended her staff to vault him to safety.
All the while, Tikki was hesitant to consider Mowgli after feeling she left Alexander to die in order to save her Miraculous. However, an Akuma attack causes forces her to make her choice.
Though Lala's haughtiness showed, she played herself off as more playful and charming like the heroes she heard of. It helped that Ladybug's ingenuity earned her admiration when they purified the Akuma. Thanks to Mowgli's human spark of creativity, he's able to utilize the Lucky Charms even when they're of devices he never heard. She even felt a rare sense of guilt when Tabaqui admitted that Lala's sharp tongue made him vulnerable to Akumatization.
Before splitting up, the two heroez gave a fist bump to commemorate their first outting. However, they had to keep their identities mum to each other lest Hawk Moth got a hold of one and squealed on the other. They took their time bantering about while slinging and vaulting through the Jungle for practice. If they only knew that their new best friends had been their worst enemies...
The challenge ended with both Mowgli and Lala finding both their prey collection to have been snatched by scavengers. With the pair of them both losing, Lala scoffed and ate crow by giving her vote for Mowgli to stay. She even told the man-cub that she'll be sure to not let him outdo her. Sharing a cocky grin with her new rivals, something changed in Lala. Small but noticeable.
And thus, the most unlikely pair became the only things keeping Shere Khan at bay..."

Dexter season 4
Starring:
Michael C Hall
Jennifer Carpenter
James Remar
David Zayas
Luna Lauren Velez
Julie Benz
C.S. Lee
John Lithgow
When season 4 came out, I had only seen a few episodes of season 1 and I wasn't interested. Up until friends from the PoP!cast started talking about it every week and how great it was. So I netflixed seasons 1 through 3 and then caught reruns of season 4 on Showtime and I was hooked.
Season 4 however was the Trinity Killer and it's what hooked me into going back to the beginning and watching them again.
Kills and Blood Slides:
Trinity Killer: 279 Confirmed Kills
Dexter up til the end of season 4: 96
Shocking Moment: The end of season 4, the bathtub. Dexter's toddler son in a pool of his own mother's blood.
Tumblr media
Okay, so Dexter is not horror, but he is a serial killer slasher and has a kill table and is one of my favorites along with the first 5 seasons of Supernatural, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Teen Wolf nowadays due to its beastiary content.
The New Yorker's Emily Nussbaum called Lithgow's characterization of Arthur as "so creepy I’m still not over it" in 2011 and also said the character was "modeled on the BTK Killer".
Dexter Facts
Dexter has killed about 117 people according to the Dexter Wiki. He had 45 blood slides in his first box before it was destroyed and now has about 43 slides in his new box. There were also 20 or so victims from whom he didn't collect blood.
Series star Michael C. Hall revealed he was afflicted with Hodgkin's lymphoma in January 2010, but continued to work on the series. Most of his fellow cast members were surprised by the news, because he had not disclosed his condition during production. Hall is, as of mid-2010, in remission.
The name of the main character, "Dexter," is also a Latin word meaning "right hand." The implied complement is the Latin for "left hand," "sinister," reflecting his hidden dark side. In 2010 author Jeff Lindsay confirmed at a book signing in Edinburgh that he chose the name Dexter because it was the opposite of "sinister", reflecting the character's surface normality.
Jennifer Carpenter's Debra uses more expletives in any given episode than all of her male colleagues combined. AND WE LOVE HER FOR THAT
Tumblr media
One aspect of the Trinity killer parallels the BTK killer. Dennis Rader maintained a very normal family life and was very active in the Christ Lutheran Church in Park City, KS. Among many positions, he was a deacon and congregation president and Cub Scout leader. Ironically, it was his use of a church computer to communicate with authorities that led to his arrest.
Director/producer Michael Cuesta initially approached a pre-The Hurt Locker (2008) Jeremy Renner to play Dexter, but Renner declined the part as he felt he could not play another serial killer again after playing Jeffrey Dahmer in Dahmer (2002).
Composer Daniel Licht initially wrote Dexter's theme song as part of the score for the horror anthology movie Necronomicon: Book of Dead (1993).
Dexter frequently uses aliases that make reference to Bret Easton Ellis books and their film adaptations. These include using "Patrick Bateman" (the main character from American Psycho (2000)) when buying tranquilizers and "Sean Ellis" (reference to both Ellis and Sean Bateman - from The Rules of Attraction (2002)) when seeing a psychiatrist.

jacob doesn't get bullied by the fandom as much as his brothers do because we all know no one is going to beat tracey lader saying he probably had the three wolf moon poster over his bed as a kid and grew up to get his cub scout badge in people skinning and brainwashing. the perfect roast was already written in the source material.

EARTH-93: FANTASTIC FOUR (PITCH JOURNAL)
While studying the mysteries of the universe, scientist Reed Richards and his closest friends and loved ones were bombarded by unknown cosmic forces. Each imbued with extraordinary powers, the four resolved to work together to help humankind and explore the furthest reaches of reality. On that day, their lives were changed forever as they became...the Fantastic Four!
THE TEAM
MISTER FANTASTIC
Born an African of Asian descent, Reed was displaced from his birth parents and and adopted by two esteemed English scientists. The Richards nurtured their son and his aptitude for science at a young age, even when their jobs preoccupied them from being able to give proper attention to Reed. Years later, Reed would recognize himself as having ASD, but as a child took to conditions such as Boy Scouts and tutoring as a means to socialize with his peers, with mixed results. In spite of his interpersonal struggles, Reed has always been perceptive and emotionally intelligent, which is what allowed him to identify a shape-shifting imposter as being his father when no one else recognized the deception.
By the time he was twenty, Reed had racked up multiple degrees and the world was his oyster, but his aspirations were derailed when his father Nathaniel vanished from thin air during an experiment to harness dark energy. Reed worked tirelessly to recreate the dark energy experiment, convinced that Nathaniel did not in fact perish. Reed established his laboratory, Fantastic Solutions, in the penthouse suite of the Baxter Building, leased out to him by a family friend. Reed took commissions, did consultant work, but all of it was done in service to recreate the experiment.
Strapped for time and resources, Reed went ahead with it after brief testing, only for it all to fall apart all over again. Reed and three others were bombarded by dark energy and had their bodies mutated, much to Reed's shame. He locked himself in his lab and slaved away at finding a solution, so shacked with guilt and narrow thinking that he was unobservant to the strife being felt by those he was trying to help. When circumstances put those very people under threat, Reed was able to step out of his bubble and help them, and through those strengthened bonds was finally able to let go of the past and look to the future with the help of his newfound family.
Reed is one of the smartest humans alive, and the only thing that exceeds his brilliance is his zeal to make the world better. As a displaced child adopted into great affluence, Reed is well aware how different his life could have been and wants to bridge the gap of resources to those less fortunate than himself. This brings a side-effect of stretching himself too thin, for while Reed is a diligent multitasker his dealings with stress and burden greatly holds him back. Being on the spectrum, Reed is far more emotionally intelligent than one would assume at first glance. His difficulty comes more in expressing himself and his own needs, which he routinely and to a fault puts aside for others. When he is left alone, Reed can fall into a rut. Narrow his vision and box himself in. Sue, Ben and Johnny keeps Reed stimulated, makes him more cognizant, allows him to be his best self. Though he is commonly mistaken as being the leader of the Four, he is inarguably the brains of the operation, and through their support and familial camaraderie, Fantastic Solutions has gotten back on track to paving the way for the future as Reed had always envisioned.
INVISIBLE WOMAN
Sue Storm was born to a rocket engineer and a movie executive. Her playacting as a child and her mother's connections led to Sue landing a role in the "Wolfe Cubs" variety show. As she got older, Sue became disillusioned with Hollywood, especially as her home life grew more and more erratic. Having been astoundingly brilliant since she was young, Sue had aspirations to begin college early, but following her father's arrest for perjury, her mother cajoled Sue into reuniting with her Cubs cast members for the teen drama "Young Romance." The series became a hit, and Sue saved her money wisely. The moment her contract expired, Sue signed off her residuals to the series over to her mother, letting her know it should be more than enough to support herself and her little brother as she finally stepped away from acting.
Sue moved to the east coast, where she began to study to become a doctor and biologist. Sue found a best friend in young artist Alicia Masters and a mentor in the aloof Julius Burchill. Sue repeatedly dodged Burchill's offers to work for him until she completed her doctorate, but she did take up a recommendation for a consultancy job in New York. Sue had briefly met the son of Nathaniel Richards when she participated in the Tomorrow Academy think tank in her preteens, but never kept in touch. Sue was impressed by Reed's brilliance, but truly became enamored by his sheer passion and utter sincerity, having been surrounded for so long by schemers and frauds. When her brother fell into trouble with the law and Reed made accomodations for Johnny to stay with them in the Baxter Building until her could get sorted out without a second thought, it was them that Sue knew she wanted to spend her life with him.
In lieu of his exhaustive research and planning, Reed reciprocated Sue's feelings, and for a few months the future seemed bright for the young couple—then tragedy struck. Sue was able to compose herself and gain control of her newfound powers among the four affected, and she helped to jostle Reed out of the catatonic state he remained in following the incident. Sue struggled to keep Johnny and Ben in check, all the while Reed stowed himself away in his lab. Burchill reentered Sue's life and once more made his offer, and in her distress Sue briefly considered accepting. However, when Sue discovered Burchill was covertly exacerbating the group's dysfunction, she stood by them and with it they overcame their problems. Reed would shortly pop the question to Sue, but before she could answer, she found herself rushing to the bathroom to throw up.
Sue has worn many faces, many roles she has played and most of which were forced upon her. There was a time where she would love nothing more but to vanish and wall herself off from the world, but instead she presses forward, becoming her best self and encouraging those around her to do the same. Sue is conflicted by the celebrity thrust upon her as a superhero, a public perception she hoped to leave behind with her past as a child star. Sue nonetheless wields that celebrity masterfully, and through it has become the de facto leader of the first family of modern superheroes. She is the force that keeps the rest of the team's assortment of personalities in check, but never hesitates to stand up for herself and put any of them to task. She was briefly intimidated with her and Reed's unplanned pregnancy, but after a visit to Latveria to treat her complications, she left more emboldened than ever at the prospect of motherhood.
HUMAN TORCH
Unlike his sister, Johnny Storm never saw his parents as anything but dysfunctional, and though he shares Sue's disdainful feelings toward their mother, Johnny continues to hold out on their father Franklin. Additionally, while Sue worked to wash her hands of Hollywood and the superficiality of celebrity, Johnny took to it like a sponge. Lacking his sister's acting talent, Johnny's fame was more exclusively tabloid fodder, bouncing around relationships with rising stars and getting into illegal street racing. After one such race led to extensive property damage and put Johnny in a bad spot, conditions were arranged where Sue arranged guardianship of him away from their mother and Johnny was put under house arrest in the Baxter Building.
Johnny started out profoundly bored by his newfound surroundings, wholly uninterested at the developments coming in and out of Fantastic Solutions. That is, until he came upon Reed's blueprints to a hovercraft. Sue chastised Johnny at first for interfering with Reed's notes, but Reed himself was appreciative of the modifications to his original "flying bathtub" (As Johnny put it) design. Johnny thought his sister's BF was fun enough, but when he accidentally came upon a ring and Sue's intentions to propose, suddenly he felt the need to object. He was baffled as to how Sue could think marriage could ever be a good idea, after what they grew up around. Hurt, Sue bluntly responded that if Johnny didn't want a part in the life she wanted to start with Reed, there was nothing stopping him. Feeling guilty for how he blew up at Sue, Johnny stuck around—which put him in blasting range when Reed's experiment went awry.
Once his shock settled down and he realized his flames didn't actually affect him, Johnny was in fact elated with his superpowers. He thought this could finally be his big break, his claim to fame he had been looking for, and thus took it quite poorly once Reed and his handlers quarantined the four of them in the Baxter Building. After a few days feeling cooped up, Johnny bucked that order and took to the skies to blow off some steam, which caught the eye of a certain homeless derelict which lead to the 4's first public appearance. At a point where the group felt the most fractured, it was Johnny who approached Reed, holed up in his lab, and reminded him how much Sue meant to him, and him to her. Through it, Johnny confronted the fear that his sister could be starting a family without him. To his relief, he was included in that new family.
Johnny is a young firebrand with something to prove, though what it is he actually wants to prove, he's not sure of. Johnny's a thrill seeker, but the more he's maturing the more cautious he is about innocents getting in the way of his stunts. Though his reputation as a trouble-maker isn't invalid, his acting out largely comes from a frustration that anything he's ever tried doing in earnest never seemed to be good enough. Under Reed's roof, Johnny has found a place of support and nurturing he couldn't depend on before. His passion for customization, thought by his mother as a frivolous hobby, is encouraged. He has a lot to learn, but is right behind Sue at being able to navigate the treacherous waters of celebrity. Johnny's not quite sure what he wants to do with his life, but being in a world-famous team of heroes and adventurers isn't a half-bad place to be while he figures it out.
THE THING
Born on the rough streets of the Lower East Side, Ben Grimm grew up idolizing his big brother Danny, who took to street crime to support Ben and himself. Ben wanted nothing more in life but to be like Danny, and though Danny himself objected, Ben was admitted into the Yancy Street Gang for his tall build and blind devotion. When Danny got killed in a scuffle, Ben took it exceptionally hard, and in his anguish drew his fist against a cop. While Ben was detained by the police, calls to his alcoholic father went unanswered, and eventually reached out to Ben's estranged Uncle Jake. Becoming Ben's new guardian was not a difficult process, and though the young man was a recluse at first, Jake and his wife Alyce eventually got Ben to come to the temple with them. Ben's father did not raise him under the family faith, and the experience instilled in Ben a spiritual fulfillment that compelled him to become his best self.
Needing help to catch up with his missed schooling, Ben met up with Reed, who was in New York at the time and was still offering his tutoring services. The two became fast friends in spite of being so different. At one point, Ben asked if Reed was building spaceships, and when Reed said commercial spaceflight was one of his potential enterprises, Ben jokingly said he would be Reed's pilot. In truth, Ben yearned to reach the stars, enlisting in the Air Force and steadily racking up flight hours. He had a chance to participate in an experimental test flight, but had to cancel when his father's death forced him to get his family affairs in order. Ben would fall back into Reed's circle as the military liaison while Reed was taking commission work for SHIELD, and he became a welcomed fixture of the lab. It was Ben's observation and encouragement that got Sue and Reed together, and though he had a short fuse with Johnny's pranks, Ben could tell he wasn't a bad kid.
After the accident, Ben took the aftermath the worst out of all of them. Mutated far beyond what anyone would still refer to as human, effectively benched for life in ever making it to space, and when his girlfriend Linda came in to see Ben, she turned and fled almost instantly. Though his mobility and reflexes improved, his depression only worsened. Emotionally, Ben was disgruntled at best and furious at worst. When a creature fitting Ben's description was reported as causing a ruckus on Yancy Street, Ben lashed out at Reed when he confronted him about it for even making the accusation. His rage was only tempered by Sue's desperate pleas, to which Ben deflated and walked away. Ben was ashamed not at what he had become, but what he had allowed himself to regress back into. After a visit to the temple and an encounter with a blind woman who could see through to the real him, Ben's zest for life was restored. The next time the imposter came down to Yancy Street to cause trouble, Ben stomped down to prove himself innocent. To his delighted surprise, the other three had his back.
Ben has never been one for limitations or getting slowed down. His troubled past and his bleeding heart can sometimes sink him into a stupor, but for the most part Ben exhibits am infectious zest for living that cannot be contained or held back. Well before he became big and orange, Ben was known as "the Brick Wall." He's undeniably tough and loves a good fight, but Ben's a softie at his core. That in itself is his strength, not his weakness, as Ben is the rock that the rest of the 4 can rely on. Johnny's antics can bring Ben to his wits end, but he knows all too well what it's like to be an angry young man coming up from a bad home. Likewise, Sue is like a little sister to Ben, but he's smart enough to not underestimate her, much less question her judgment. And though Reed holds guilt over what happened to Ben, when it comes down to it being his friend has exposed Ben to more fantastical things he could only ever have dreamed of. Not to mention, being in his circle helped him to meet the girl who just might be the one for him.
THE FRIENDS
ALICIA MASTERS
Alicia's childhood was fraught with manipulation and deceit, but rather than allow her experience to harden her to the world, she insists on seeing through to the goodness of people. It was helped her and Sue to become such close and fast friends, and made her an invaluable source to unearth who and what had been impersonating Ben roughing up Yancy Street. That in itself made Alicia curious about the man himself. She did not see Ben for the monster he claimed to have become, and she could feel his pain even through his tough, thick skin. With the heartbreak of his fiance leaving him still so fresh, Ben is not especially emotionally available, but he and Alicia slowly get to know each other as circumstances keep her in the orbit of her and the 4, especially when her mad scientist stepfather menaces them both.
ADAM BRASHEAR
A phenomenally brilliant scientist, Adam worked extensively alongside Reed's father. He personally objected to Nathaniel's dark energy experiments, but was supportive of not cautious of Reed's efforts to replicate the experiment. It was Adam of whom Reed loaned out the Baxter Building to, eventually letting him purchase the property outright once the 4 blew up in prominence. Today, Adam runs and operates the Project Pegasus facility, researching and developing alternative means of energy. Adam's experience as a futurist and family man both inspires and gives Reed caution as he finds himself becoming a family man, and in turn Reed's youthful idealism helps to soften the doubt and wariness that has lingered over Adam for some time. By the time both the 4 and the Avengers get tangled up in the Kree/Skrull conflict, Adam gives Reed assurance that the Earth will be in good hands in their absence.
CRYSTAL
Out of Brazil comes a hot new superheroine dubbed "Elementelle," one whose powers very quickly draw comparisons to the Human Torch. Johnny became interested, and though his initial overtures flopped, he and this new heroine, Crystal, quickly entered a hot and heavy romance. Johnny falls hard for Crystal, feeling she is among the few people who can understand what he's going through. Like Johnny, Crystal is a open superhuman, can be a reckless adrenaline junkie, and is working through a bad childhood. In Crystal's case, however, it's more than she can't even recall her childhood. By wild happenstance, Crystal ended up being the final piece to an ongoing mystery the 4 had been investigating. She was not only the long-lost sister to the recurring for Medusa, and both siblings were royal members of the secluded society of Inhumans. Crystal becomes a proper member of the 4 after Sue requires time off in the final stages of her pregnancy, but she and Johnny slowly begin to drift apart as her duties as a princess take precedent to any affairs she still has on Earth.
ALYSSA MOY
A bombastic archeologist and former flame of Reed. The two worked together under Harley Elder in his ongoing study of a supposed secret advanced civilization, lost between the annals of history. She and Reed had a whirlwind romance during this time, but Alyssa lived at a frenetic pace that Reed found exhausting to keep up with, and following Elder's apparent death the two broke things off. After volunteering to help Alyssa excavate "The Great Chasm" in the Himalayas, the 4 inadvertently awaken a Kree Sentry, which begins their battle with aliens. Alyssa continued to be an intermittent ally to the 4, but her willingness to jeopardize others for the sake of discovery, a major factor in Reed breaking up with her, leads to her being dropped as a consultant.
WALTER LAWSON
A physicist and engineer who has worked with both Brashear and Reed in their respective work into energy and spaceflight. When the 4 encounter what looks to be a giant robot in what was thought to be the site of an ancient civilization, Reed has insight that connects two dots together. He takes the team to Lawson's place of work in Cape Canaveral, where they find an identical robot that crashed in Roswell, New Mexico (An additional layer of drama is the discovery that Carol Danvers, the chief of security at Canaveral, is Ben's old flame). When the owners of both robots arrive to reclaim their property, Lawson is forced to reveal that he is among them: Mar-Vell, a scientist and soldier for the Kree Empire. As his people begin to plot against the Earth, Mar-Vell seeks to help as he feels is the best way he can: By becoming a superhero. The 4 make an uneasy alliance with Mar-Vell, wary of the deception he has done and his history with the Kree, but conceding to the knowledge to a threat the rest of them are going on blind with.
WYATT WINGFOOT
A couple years into the 4's formation, Johnny decides to finally try being an adult and enrolls in college. There, he makes an unlikely friend in campus quarterback Wyatt. At first glance, Wyatt's stoic, no-nonsense demeanor would make him a wet blanket to Johnny's party boy attitude. But, as a college student, Johnny for once actually wants to attempt a low profile, which Wyatt is the only one at first who respects that. Wyatt's diligence and inability to let others meddle with him are admirable traits to the hot-headed Johnny. In turn, Johnny helps Wyatt to not play it so safe all the time, to get a taste of the life of travel he always privately yearned for. What's more, Wyatt's connection and reverence to his tribe back home in Oklahoma incentivises Johnny to look into his own Native heritage. When Johnny starts to bring Wyatt around the Baxter Building, he very quickly enters the good graces of the rest of the team. Especially Ben, whom Wyatt requests that he personally traits him in his piloting skills.
T'CHALLA
Going by the name "Luke Charles" when they first met as students in the Tomorrow Academy, T'Challa was Sue's first crush and even first kiss. He would reenter Sue's life as T'Challa, the prince to the African nation of Wakanda. Having been recently exiled, T'Challa turns to Sue and the rest of the 4, seeking aid to stop his country and its precious resources from falling into the wrong hands. Afterwards, T'Challa remains an invaluable ally to the 4 in their mutual desire to bring progress and innovation to the world.
AGATHA HARKNESS
A former child psychologist who oversaw Sue and the other young geniuses in the Tomorrow Academy. Agatha was brought in by Sue to be a nanny for Franklin once she and Reed's work kept them preoccupied. When the 4 begin to experience phenomena that cannot be explained through science, Agatha becomes the unlikely expert to guide them through the supernatural.
WILLIE LUMPKIN
A family friend of the Storms, "Uncle Willie" took up public relations work for the 4 after firing their initial manager, Bentley Wittman. He loves sorting through the team's fanmail.
FRANKLIN RICHARDS
Reed and Sue's young son. He will play a minimal role, until the planet is brought to the brink by Galactus. Then, Franklin's own powers brought about by the dark energy imbued in his parents will become the key to repelling the cosmic devourer.
THE VILLAINS
DOCTOR DOOM
Born in Romanian-occupied Latveria, Victor Dohmen was torn from his parents over the country's anti-Romani policies, spending his earliest years in a government child rearing system to bring him up as a Romanian, not Latverian or Romani. Pushed to her limit, Victor's mother Cynthia made a pact with a demon to find the strength to get her son back, only for such a bargain to end in horrific violence and Cynthia becoming indentured to her dark consignee. Victor's father Werner fought, struggled, and ultimately failed and died to protect his son. All this tragedy at such a young age had Victor's heart grow cold, but also his wits to grow sharp and his convictions resolute.
In spite of his hardships and the low resources living among his mother's clan, Victor displayed a remarkable aptitude in mathematics and technology, so much so that his handiwork managed to catch the attention of one Howard Stark, drafting up weapons contracts in the neighboring country of Symkaria. Victor agreed to Stark's offer to study to be a proper scientist in New York, believing he could put that bloated American capital to his and his people's benefit. Victor did little socializing within the Tomorrow Academy, but did agree to be mentored by Nathaniel Richards and collaborate with his son of Victor's age. He believed the Richards' dabbling in dark energy would reveal the secret in bringing his mother back from the other side. Victor was certain, tucked away in the secrets of the universe was what humanity recognized to be Hell. However, after a last-minute recalculation of the experiment, it all blew up in their faces—in Victor's case, quite literally.
Victor would vanish for over a half-decade following the accident in New York. By the time he reappeared, it was back in his native Latveria, by then free from Communism but swiftly falling within the grip of an oppressive monarch. In the time since the accident, Victor had become a new man in every sense of the word. A cyborg outfitted in an exo-suit endowed with mystical enchantments, adorned in a green hooded cloak and sealing away his supposedly scarred face behind fearsome metallic skull-mask. Rechristening himself as Victor Von Doom, literally proclaiming himself as a "Champion of Catastrophe" he led his people through a technological revolution that overthrew their brutal ruler, only for Doom to take his place.
Through the trauma of his family being destroyed and his own childhood briefly controlled by the state, Doom views himself as a staunch individualist. Literally reshaping himself by his precise design, as aggrandized of a persona as that may be. By his hand, he has made Latveria a rich nation where his people want for nothing, but such luxury comes in exchange with complete and total subjugation. In his greater ambitions of leadership, Doom shall expect similar compliance. Doom has exhibited a mastery in both science and sorcery, but unlike his contemporaries such as Reed or Doctor Strange, Doom uses his skills as either a weapon against his enemies or to indebt the same enemies to him, best exemplified by Doom's perfected harnessing of dark energy. Even when the entire world is pushed to the absolute brink, Doom refuses to lend his resources without a further consolidation of his power. Over the years, Doom has become obsessed with the concept of Hell and the existence of alternate planes of reality. Doom's sanity is debatable, but his threat certainly is not.
AIM
Advanced Idea Mechanics, or AIM. A consortium of disgruntled scientists, frustrated by scientific progress waylaid by an emphasis on weapons and super-soldiers over the last century, convinced that they alone are best equipped to rule the world. Most members pose as loyal employees and specialists, secretly siphoning off resources and sell them to black markets to fund their operations, which include hiring mercenaries or even engineering their own super-powered muscle. Members include Burchill, the Mad Thinker, and Alicia's stepfather Phillip, the Puppet Master. After failing to recruit Reed and the 4, they next scheme to defend and discredit them. With the founding of other heroes such as Iron Man, Ant-Man and the rest of the Avengers, AIM began to lose the home field advantage. The 4 will eventually storm the Beehive, confronting the Scientist Supreme and his ultimate weapon.
NAMOR
After the war, the prince of Atlantis was dethroned and exiled from his kingdom, and spent decades roaming the streets of New York as an amnesiac. Seeing Johnny tear across the night skies rattled something in his scattered mind, and he regained a sense of self again—only partly, as Namor regressed more into the tempestuous dynamo that wrecked havoc on Manhattan seven decades prior. Namor accosts Johnny the next day, wanting a rematch with the Human Torch, and the others intervening on Johnny's behalf became the public debut of the Fantastic Four. Namor would escape his captivity within the Baxter Building during an attack and would menace the 4 afterwards, but he and the team would become unlikely allies in order to prevent a full-scale war between Atlantis and the surface world.
MOLE MAN
Harvey Reginald Elder has been put upon all his life for his physical appearance and sordid emotional difficulties. Preferring the company of books over people, Harvey's first dabblings in science were in mycology, but over time fell more into archeology, becoming obsessed with proving the existence of an advanced prehistoric civilization. That obsession ultimately sent Harvey plummeting down a crevice tucked away in a remote island northeast of Japan, where he would remain for the next twelve years. Lost within the subterranean caves and tunnels that link the Earth's interior, Harvey took to his old skills in fungus growth to survive, first mind-controlling monsters to do his bidding, then creating his own race of beings, the Moloids. In this environment, Harvey became the Mole Man. Both the 4 as well as AIM have attempted to reform Mole Man to their side, and he has remained a wild card, defiant to both parties. What is being but one man among a group, after all, compared to a king among monsters.
FRIGHTFUL FOUR
Bentley Wittman was one of the early investors of Fantastic Solutions, and cajoled his way into being the 4's PR manager. The runt of the litter to a wealthy family, Wittman is a man far more interested in the aesthetics of futurism than any actual effort towards progress, and after one too many unsavory decisions on their behalf, the 4 gave Wittman the boot. Making an alliance with AIM, Wittman was given a fancy exo-suit and a motley crew of super-powered mercenaries under contract. During an effort to deface the 4, Wittman led "Quintessence" as an alternative super-quartet, but the abrasive team energy led them to fail to become as beloved to the public, instead earning the derisive name "Frightful Four." The 4 ultimately had to intervene when their rival's dysfunction came under threat of public safety. The Frightful Four continued to exist, but often with only three members and whittled down to being enforcers to AIM, much to Wittman's frustration.
KREE/SKRULL
In their eon-spanning feud, the extraterrestrial Kree and Skrull empires have held intermittent interest with the Sol system and the planet Earth. The former most especially, as a prehistoric Earth was one of many planets where Kree scientists conducted their Genesis Project: Creating an intelligent, augmented offshoot of a planet's native species with the long-term goal of having them overtake and conquer the planet on behalf of the Kree. The Genesis Project remained a controversial undertaking among the Kree, especially as several civilizations created through it became autonomous and either self-destructed or rebelled against the Kree. The Earth offshoot of the project, the Inhumans, was held off from being purged, as overtime the Earth became a point of fixation for the Dard'van, a fanatical sect of Skrull who did not recognize the authority of the House of Dorrek, the Skrull's reigning royal family. The Dard'van were convinced that the Earth was a prophesied promised land should the House of Dorrek finally fall and the Skrull race can begin anew, relinquished from neverending warfare with the Kree.
This prophecy becomes far more amendable to all walks of Skrull once the throne world Tarnax IV became the latest feast for the planet-eater Galactus. With the House of Dorrek seemingly dead and all Skrull defenses thrown into disarray, the Dard'van became the last major opposition for the Kree, and with it sought to finally have the Inhumans fulfill their purpose and sabotage the Skull's exodus to Earth. Unfortunate for the Kree, their encounter with the Inhuman Royal Family was sabotaged by an erratic young member, causing a Sentry drone to crash down into the American Southwest and forcing the Kree to pull back and chart a new course of action. The Dard'van's hopes of safe passage into the Sol System were compromised once, having the role of Skrull leadership fully thrust upon them forcing them to brace the Kree's full menace and compromise their agenda.
Through this comes Kl'rt, a member of the elite Super Skrull's. Before the fall of Tarnax IV, Kl'rt's reputation was sullied by a war campaign gone disastrously wrong, but where most Skrulls found loss and tragedy after the fall of the throne world, Kl'rt found opportunity. He made his way into the good graces of Verenke, Dard'van priestess turned empress, and he played mediator, enforcer and agitator on all sides in order to steer what he believes will sustain his splintered people. As Earth appeared to about to discover the secret to interstellar travel, Kl'rt volunteered to intervene. Initially attempting to infiltrate the 4, impersonating the Storm's estranged father Franklin, Kl'rt then schemed to sabotage the Kree's greatest gambit in the Inhumans, coaxing their unstable new leader Maximus. Through both this and Mar-Vell's apparent betrayal to his kind, Earth draws the ire of Supreme Accuser Ronan—and through him, the full brunt of the Kree military. The 4 and the Avengers end up joining forces to prevent the chaos of the Kree-Skrull War from spilling over into their planet and solar system. They narrowly succeed, but it quickly becomes a pyrrhic victory, once the heroes realize what threat falls right behind two warring alien empires...
GALACTUS
The final boss of the 4, along with most major heroes by that point, of Season 1 of Earth-93. Having consumed Tarnax IV a half-decade earlier, the Eater of Worlds has selected our own pale blue dot as his next meal. The 4, Avengers and X-Men all band together to attempt to save the planet and fight back against the three waves of Galactus' menace.
First, the herald Silver Surfer will approach the Earth, a might cosmic force in his own right, destabilizing the planet's defenses and readying the populace towards their doom. When the Surfer fails this task, next comes the Chitauri, a ghastly armada of drones and warships comprised of the countless worlds and people drained and left as husks. Once the psychic mutant Jean Grey connects with a fiery cosmic entity and succeeds in destroying a large chunk of the Chitauri fleet in one fell swoop, at last Galactus himself will descend upon the planet, siphoning Earth's energies directly. Only through the help of Reed and Sue's young son and his fantastical cosmic power inherited from his parents is Reed able to find a power source for his Ultimate Nullifier and repel Galactus from Earth.
The 4 save the world, but being the first planet in centuries to fend off Galactus has made the world an even bigger target for alien threats more than ever before.

Ghosts vampire/werewolf au lore??? 👀
I did write a bit about it here, in case you haven’t see it ( https://www.tumblr.com/blog/view/spacerangersam/689661464978604032?source=share ) but like, always happy to talk more about my aus asdfgh.
Also, I don’t know if you mean lore about how specifically vampires/werewolves work in this au or just, general info about this au, so I'll give you a bit of both. Sorry in advance for how long this is.
So, for the world itself, I imagine it's one where all humans know that supernatural beings exist, but it's like, generally hard to find them
It's like spotting a wild fox- very cool, but mindblowing. Certainly, no one's bringing out their pitchforks to hunt them down
Well, some people are, but that's a very small minority, and it's universally considered a bit of a dick move
And there are plenty of supernatural beings who live in human cities and whatnot, but it's not common
Especially with vampires
Speaking of: vampires don't turn into bats, they turn into a pile of writhing leeches. I remember someone telling me that was an idea Bram Stoker originally had before the bats, and while I can't find a source for that, I love it so it's vampire canon to me now
Alison is horrified when this first happens
Vampires can be seen in mirrors/photographs, as long as there's no silver lining/or silver in the film.
They can go in the sun with a lot of sunscreen on, but it's still a big risk. it's best to be careful and get a skincare potion from a witch
And with the Buttons specifically - the reason there's only that small handful left is simply that most Buttons, when turned into vampires, immediately leave the manor
Who can blame them? being stuck with your entire family for all of eternity sounds horrible
George did try to kill Stephanie like in canon back when she was still human, but either Humphrey or Kitty found and turned her just in time
Later down the line, she returned the favour to Captain, who was using the house as a base during WW2 but became incredibly ill
But was it a normal illness, or something else? Who knows.
There's no a/b/o stuff with the werewolves, I cannot stress this enough. Packs are either family groups, or like, a group of friends. If there are any leaders, then they're the parents or the most parent-like
Sort of on that note, Pat still does scouting, but his group is pretty much exclusively made up of cubs from the plague pack, named as such because they were all turned during the black plague
Werewolves turn you through scratches, vampires through biting, but it has to be intentional. A werewolf can scratch you, but unless they’re doing it with the aim to turn you, the only thing it will do is hurt
Why? No one knows. It’s magic
Unlike vampires, werewolves can be born. So Pat, Daley, and Robin were all born vampires, whereas Mary, Thomas and Alison were turned
I'd like to think it was Robin who turned Mary. Maybe she tried to help him when he got injured in his wolf form once, so when he saw the witchfinders coming, he ran ahead and offered to turn her to save her
She agreed, and they made their own little two-person pact
Skip ahead a few decades and after Thomas is turned, the Buttons essentially demand that they take him in
Skip ahead a bit further and the trio meet Pat wandering the woods sadly, fresh from his divorce, missing his pack
He joins the group they become a proper pack.
Daley visits, when his mum lets him
Pat and Cap definitely have like, a frenemies to lovers thing going on. Everyone is aware of this except for Pat and Cap
And despite the tension between the Buttons and the Pack, plenty of them are still friends. Julian and Robin still play chest together, Kitty and Marry hang out a lot- it’s mostly Stephanie and Cap causing the tension
Every full moon werewolves are forced to turn into their wolf form, but they don’t lose control. That’s only for red moons and eclipse, and even then, it’s more like…you know in H20 how the girls would get kind of loopy around full moons? It’s like that
But on normal full moons they have a movie night and just like, pile up on each other and cuddle
Kitty and Julian are sometimes invited
The Pack all live together in a house nearby to the Button’s manor, but it’s a lot smaller and in the woods.
Pat bought it because before then they were just sort of, roughing it in the woods. Not because they couldn’t find/afford somewhere, but because they just didn’t think to
You’ve heard of Alison seeing Cap as a father figure, now get ready for her seeing Pat as a father figure
And oh yeah of course he sees her as a daughter. She's a young fatherless person in his pack? No, he's her dad now, end of. And Daley definitely sees her and Mike as his older siblings.
Mike and Daley would definitely get into a lot of hijinks…definitely
Uh, this is getting long so I better stop, but before that, one last point: since Humphrey is connected with his body here, and to make up for the no turning into bats thing, Humphrey has a pet bat called Body. It’s a Salem situation, you know? A bastard that’s been stuck in the form of an animal to pay for his crimes
But the only one who pays is Humphrey
…okay, think I’m done for now

The Flash Fix-It: Season 9
In light of all the major changes happening to the Flash and the CW, here’s my suggestion box wishlist fix-it for the upcoming final season.
A shorter season -- no more than 10 episodes. Give Barry moral dilemmas to solve. We get it. He’s “leveled up” (It’s a travesty how Ciara didn’t make a dime off of the number of times they said this horrible phrase) so give him less physical challenges and more emotional/mental challenges. Gustin is a brilliant actor and drama is where he truly shines; in those moments when he’s getting ping-ponged between his head and his heart. Give him a villain that breaks his spirit. Give him a villain that challenges his values. Zoom, Season 1 Reverse Flash and Bloodwork were great villains because they tried (and nearly succeeded) at breaking Barry’s heart. Hell, Zoom literally broke his back. Bloodwork threw Nora/fatherhood in his face. Reverse Flash killed killed his mom, turned him into the Flash, trained him and then betrayed him. The Flash works best when the villains’ motivations are rooted in values that challenge/undermine Barry’s.
Gut the team. When it was just Barry, Cisco, Caitlin and Wells that made sense. Every other combination since them has been trash (Chester and Sue are awesome though). No more Allegra. No more Cecile. No more scout meetings in the cortex; no more hallway talks after the scout meetings in the cortex. No more randoms going “into the field” with Barry. He’s the Flash. He’s “leveled up”. He got this yo. At this point in Barry’s development, the “team” really should just be Barry, Chester on comms and a medic. Hell, at this point, I’d love to watch an entire season of Barry lone wolfing it. No Star Labs. No equipment. Just the suit and a need for speed.
About that medic...it shouldn’t be Caitlin. I said what I said. Frost was a more interesting character than Caitlin ever was. Honestly, I’d be willing to bet money that Panabaker probably enjoyed playing Frost more. I wish Frost was the one with the medical background so we could ditch Caitlin and keep Frost as the medic. Now that Frost is gone, it’s time for Caitlin to go too. The few times that Barry needs a medic, I’m sure Argus can spare one.
Cecile has got to go. Her and her “oh, my god I’m sensing that you feel embarrassed at the fact that I keep invading your privacy with my powers. Tell me (and everyone in this room) more”. Doesn’t she have a child to rear? A career to foster? Please, go do that especially since it doesn’t seem likely Joe will put a ring on it. Now that Jesse L. Martin’s role has been reduced to recurring, write Cecile off. Please.
I hope the Iris time sickness foolish resolves with Iris getting stuck in a future century permanently. WestAllen fans hear me out. I too love WestAllen. I think Gustin and Patton had amazing chemistry. Read: had. (The way this man used to kiss her I swear --!) Any who, whatever chemistry they had is gone. The show has gone out of its way to deliberately nuke it by constantly separating them for reasons I will not even begin to speculate on. They really turned them from “touch is our love language” to “roommates who occasionally see each other when schedules line up”. The spark they had in earlier seasons is gone. It’s a damn shame too because they’ve utterly wasted Patton. She’s a good actress and she was given nothing to work with for years. In the pilot, she mentions working on a dissertation. Where did it go??? Where? Then they absolutely bungled her C3 plot by shoehorning Allegra and her cub reporter side plots. It’s infuriating. At this point, just make it that Iris is stuck in a future century and Barry has to use the speedforce to visit her. This way, she’s not dead, but she’s not present, which if we’re being honest isn’t all that different to what they’ve been doing with her for the past 8 seasons. And they can still have their future kids, etc. (Be free Candice Patton, be free and prosper!)

Me few weeks ago: Eber was always exploring around as a cub although only in their territory and was alone when the coven scouts got them
Me now: Eber was always exploring as a cub and despite the warning of their dire wolf parents often went outside the territory because they were adventurous and wanted to know more about the isle or other beasts and often dragged their siblings along into the trouble, resulting in some of the siblings to get caught too

So, quick history abt me - I was a Wolf Scout long ago (despite not becoming a boy-thing until fairly recently) and we used to have monthly meet-ups with the Cub Scouts (boy scouts but for actual children not teenagers) of our same “pack” (13th St. Patrick’s) and sit around a big campfire and play campfire games.
The way a campfire game works is that the pack leaders start up a song-chant-shanty-thing and everyone joins in for the various choruses with commands for hand-motions and stuff (think along the lines of Macarena or Hokey-Pokey), except the songs are ridiculous and silly and super fun to play along with.
One of them was called Joe Donuts.
The reason I bring up Joe Donuts is bc my mom started randomly chanting it this evening and I, ever the loyal Wolf Scout even after all these years, couldn’t stop myself from joining in and seeing the whole game through. It was fun. It was long. My voice hurts now. I desperately want to share Joe Donuts with someone. It starts like this:
My name is Joe.
And I work in, a donut factory -
I have a house, a wife and a fa-mi-ly.
One day my boss came to me
He said “Joe, are you busy?”
I said no.
…turn a dial with your left hand.
Awwwww that’s so sweet!

What would your OC's daemon be? When would it settle? What would their relationship with it be?
Inspired by this post, and a prompt from our discord. Also, a lot of these are birds bc of our discussion about elves and mages getting bird daemons to symbolize freedom.
Venissa Tabris: Based on our discussion about bird daemons for elves, I’d say that she’d be a blue jay for their size, distinctive appearance, intelligence, tight family bonds, and protectiveness. However, I actually think a weasel fits her more, as they are depicted as either tricksters or heroes, and are associated with brides and bad luck on wedding days. It would have settled sometime in her teens, and she’d be very attached to it, often having it slink around her neck like a scarf. I headcanon alienage elves to have smaller daemons, so they draw less attention to themselves.
Danaë Mahariel: Danae would be a northern goshawk, which live in forests, preferring to avoid civilization, and are very defensive of their nests, attacking anyone who comes too close. It would have settled the day she brought back her first kill as a hunter, and she’d use it to scout and hunt alongside her, like the ranger specialization.
Anuriel Surana: If I had to choose a bird, I think Anuriel would be a greater blue-eared starling for its colourations and her habit of adopting random children, but I actually think she’s better suited for a snake. Snakes are associated with change, healing, and rebirth, though they tend to get a bad rep in media. Specifically, I think her daemon would be a type of cobra, as they’re venomous and protective. It would have fluctuated a lot but settled relatively young (just before she was taken to the circle), and she’d be mostly indifferent to its presence—might even be able to separate from it, which would only cause people to be more unnerved by her. She’d probably name him Asclepius, and he would be very similar to her in personality—appearing aloof but secretly caring deeply.
Belath Lavellan: Her daemon would be a Harris’s hawk, otherwise known as a wolf hawk (ironic considering her romance). These birds hunt in packs and have been known to care for injured pack mates by providing them with food. Her daemon would have settled just before or after she got her vallaslin. Her daemon would be a lot more impulsive and vitriolic than she is, giving voice to the things she keeps under the surface.
Elgaras Lavellan: I knew what his daemon would be right away: a bright and beautifully flamboyant peacock. Similarly, it probably would have settled remarkably early, and they’d play off of each other with snark and friendly barbs. Because it’s the male peacock that is more colourful, they would be one of the few pairs that share the same gender.
Garavel Lavellan: Garavel’s daemon would be a proud and regal tigress. While he’s a bit of a standoffish spitfire, she’d be much calmer by comparison, showing that it’s mostly bluster—granted, if you actually threaten something they care about, you’ll be dead before you know it. She would have chosen a main form when he was still very young, though would have maintained the ability to switch for awhile afterward. While together they are both very intimidating, she actually treats him more like her cub than anything.
Valda Brosca: Valda’s daemon would be a honey badger; mostly solitary and territorial, capable of fighting off much bigger threats in defence of its home. Valda and her daemon would be very close, as one of the very few people they could fully trust while in dust town. It would have settled after her first big fight, where she proved her worth to Beraht.
Aurelia Aeducan: Her daemon would be a golden lion tamarin monkey. Very bubbly and social, but with an undertone of manipulation and competitiveness. It would have settled around her early teens, just as she was truly coming into her own as a princess of Orzammar. They act as a unit, barely needing to communicate to be on the same agenda.
Berenike Aeducan: Sereda’s daemon would be a Komodo dragon, an intimidating, cold blooded hunter with a venomous bite. Her daemon would actually have settled relatively late, and their relationship is strained in a way that indicates deeper personal issues. Especially near the end of the blight they started fighting more, ending in stony silence the night before the final battle.
Leonie Amell: Leonie would have a dove, as a symbol of peace, hope, love, freedom—and grief. It would have settled after she was taken to Kinloch Hold, and she’d be both very fond of it and resentful of its inherent freedom.
Eileen Cousland: Changed my mind, Eileen’s daemon would be a spotted hyena. Spotted hyenas are hardy, and fierce defenders who are very family oriented. It also occupies a bit of a middle ground between cats and dogs, and hints at her more cunning and ambitious side. It would have fluctuated a lot as a child, started preferring a hyena by the time she was 10, and fully settled by 13. While Eileen has gotten better at hiding her tells, her daemon is more emotive and has a shorter temper, making people wary of offending them.
Audrey Hawke: I think Audrey would be a Saint Bernard, because they’re very helpful, gentle and affectionate, and a people pleaser. They’re also known to aid lost travellers, which fits into Audrey’s need to help everyone she comes across. Despite their gentle nature, they’re very protective and have a warning bark that leaves no room for nonsense. It would have settled early as a child, and is actually much more tactile than most daemons.
Rhona Hawke: Her daemon would be a toucan, just as proud and boisterous as she is. A bit of an impulsive show off with a quick temper, they’re just as passionate when they’re happy as when they’re mad. It would have settled after her first burst of magic as a child, and while Rhona herself is very blunt, her daemon has picked up a bit of tact to try and smooth over any ruffled feathers.
