I will say, to play devil's advocate just a tad, I have had a guy tell me to name 5 songs by a band whose shirt I was wearing (Queen).
Also, I'm a guy.
The guy was genuinely bothered by the idea of people wearing shirts of bands without knowing their music
But even that was different, because I knew the guy.
