Will laughed at Mike's obvious nervousness. "I think I'm gonna take a break." He sighs and sits back onto the couch next to Mike. Mike nodded and avoided eye contact.

"Are you okay? Like seriously? You seem off." Will asked genuinely concerned. "Yeah. I'm fine. Great, actuallly!" Mike glanced down at the pillow, wishing his erection would disapear. Will followed Mike's glace. Will furrowed his brows in confusion. "Okay..?" Will shrugged the confusion away.

"I'm so tired, I stayed up late last night doing the paper." Will yawned and leaned his head agaisnt Mike's shoulder. "What paper?" Mike let out a shaky breath. "The science paper." "Oh, I forgot about that." Will rolled his eyes.

"Are you hungry?" Mike nodded his head and hummed. "What do you want?" "Pizza?" "But we literally just had that yesterday." Will whined again, adding to Mike's already throbbing erection. Mike bit his lip, containing a moan. "Then, why'd you ask?" "I figured you'd have a sensible answer. What about burgers?" Will asked.

Will lifted his head off Mike's shoulder and repositioned himself so his head laid on Mike's lap, applying pressure to his erection. He subconsciously let out a quiet moan. The two boys stayed still. Neither of them knowing how to react.

Will asked, laughing awkwardly. "I thought you said-" "I don't care." Mike nodded and Will stood up from the couch and walked toward the landline.

Mike tuned Will's voice out and focused on his aching erection. He sighed and closed his eyes, trying to think about anything else. "Mike!" Wills voice brought Mike out of mind. He opened his eyes, focusing on him. "Sorry, what?" Mike cleared his throat. "Do you want pepperoni?" "Yeah, sure." Will sighed and continued ordering. "Yeah. Thank you." Will hung up the phone. "15 minutes." Mike nodded as Will sat back down.

The room was silent, less awkward than before but still uncomfortable. "I'm really sorry." Mike broke the silence. "It's fine. It's normal." Will bit his lip. Mike nodded and awkward silence filled the room again. Only the sounds of Mike's family on the floor above could be heard.

"So, um.." Will started, looking at Mike. "The science paper was really hard-" "Can you please help me?" Mike cut Will off, looking down at the floor. "What..?" Will questions, unsure if he heard his best friend right. "Can you help me?" "Help you? With your.." Will trailed off but gestered to Mike's crotch with his head. "Please." Mike pleaded, still looking at the ground. "Mike.. I.." Will started.

"Sorry. Nevermind. I shouldn't have asked. That was really-" Mike was cut off from the pillow being removed from his lap and Will in front of him, on his knees. He quickly undid Mike's belt and pulling down his pants to his mid thigh, exposing his erection. "Why aren't you wearing underwear?" Will asked taking Mike's dick in his hand, pumping it slowly.

idk if it a unpopular take but??? i kinda dont want the confession to be in the painting 'fight'. And as much as i want them to have an emotional shouting match, i kinda feel like they would actually resolve it with a quiet conversation?? You know like all the heart-to-hearts we've gotten in s4.

Mike would be confused, but understanding when Will would explain that he really thought El felt like that. Will just wanted to help. And while Mike knew in the van that something was not adding up, bc he's not stupid, he still wouldn't have guessed that Will likes him, bc it would be such a wild concept to him, that Will (Will!!) would like him.

So they have a talk, Mike admits he's relieved after the mutual break-up, they hug, they tease each other, accidentally flirt (AGAIN). And then we see them (willandmike) being back to themself, bc while they didn't say anything too revealing, just like when Mike had apologized in Will's room, when Will got such a confidence boost that he took the painting with him, they also finally felt like they were on the same page. Also if the painting fight would be before the time jump, it would feel weird for them to immediately fall into this, well, kinda very serious relationship, when Mike just came out of a different relationship, and Will still didn't really think about anything more, bc he finally had his best friend back. They would gradually fall into it. They have to figure it out, dont rush it, you know?

Since today I’m in my loving Mike Wheeler era, I’m still irked by the idea that Jonathan would corner Mike and defend Will. I personally just don’t like it cause, again, if I was Mike I’d be so peeved off about it. Idk why.

Maybe it’s cause Jonathan has known Mike since he was 5 years old. Like, he’s obviously seen Mike not make the best choices, but he’s also seen Mike make many many many great choices. Like the van scene, Mike was so sweet while Will was talking and absolutely adored the painting. I don’t think Jonathan is sitting there thinking Mike is dumb or something. It’s possible they both saw Will crying and understood, since he turned away, that he didn’t want attention brought to it.

Also, we know he watched Will and Mike talk in his room. He saw how sweet they were being with each other. We focus on the mistakes Mike has made, but forget that he has a billion more good moments than bad. Also, Will and Mike are WillandMike they are extremely close. They don’t need anyone getting involved in their relationship. That’s what makes them so mature and different than El/Mike. We see other characters giving so much input into that relationship, like almost every character does. That’s what makes it feel so messy and immature (one of the things.

With Will and Mike it’s the complete opposite. the fight they have in season 3? Mike doesn’t need any prompting to go after Will, check on him, and apologize. We don’t see even a second of Lucas questioning it or wondering what happened or having him and Mike talking about it.

Season 4, almost the same exact thing. Mike goes to Will and apologizes and (very beautifully may I add) expresses his feelings perfectly as to why he’s sorry and why Will is important to him. I love their relationship for many reasons, but I’ve always appreciated how intimate and private it is. It’s no one else’s business that they fight or have miscommunication or other issues. Will doesn’t need someone to defend is honor from Mike, he can either do it himself or Mike will reach out and they’ll talk.

I’m probably talking about my ass lmao, but what I’m saying is basically what I said in an earlier post that Will isn’t a baby that needs protecting and he would be livid if anyone was going around saying, ‘you chose Mike? Really?’ or that he can do better. Mike is his best friend above anything else and that’s straight up mean. Again, no hate to people who do that or write that, it’s all for fun and everyone is allowed to do whatever they want absolutely this is not me bashing that I support you. I mean in actual canon I don’t think it would happen or I hope it won’t.

Jonathan has no right cornering Mike or getting up in his business or Will’s business. He also probably cares a lot about both of them and obviously knows Mike isn’t some dick that’s hurting anyone on purpose. What I’m saying is that I think it’s so special that Mike and Will have such privacy in their relationship because of how much they respect eachother and handle issues without outside input.

(Disclaimer, if you DO like the idea of Jonathan stepping in I completely support your opinion 100% and don’t think it’s wrong or stupid whatsoever, this is all for fun and I am all here for people disagreeing with me because my opinion is just an opinion and not fact or the right answer. I am not saying you’re misunderstanding the characters or anything like that, this is just something I think)

Music softly played in the background, filling the ears of the two teenagers. One of Will's playlist providing background noises while the two held each other close, their lips on each other. They pulled apart momentarily trying to regain their breath, as they leaned their foreheads on each others.

The song that was playing came to an end and another began. "I wanna be yours." Mike whispered under his breath. "You are mine." Will responded, slightly confused. Mike let out a breathy laugh, leaving Will even more confused. "The song, dummy." He smiled before pressing a small feathery kiss to Will's lips. "The song?" Will paused before the music finally set into his ears. "Oh." He laughed a little and reattached his lips to Mike.

"If you like your coffee hot, let me be your coffee pot." Mike mumbled as he pulled away from the kiss, singing the song to Will. "I don't like coffee." Will admitted while laughing at the quick switch up in Mike's behavior. "You don't like coffee?" Mike asked with a blank expression to which Will shook his head. "Oh my god, I'm dating a psychopath."

Will swatted Mike's shoulder with a fake offended face. "Ow." Mike said seriously before breaking into laughter and was quickly followed by Will. Once the two had calmed down, they sat silently looking into each other's eyes. Mike's hand rested on Will's knee, and although it wasn't much, Will was enamored. "I wanna be yours, wanna be yours, wanna be yours." Mike mindlessly sang quietly as he brought his other hand up to Will's hair.

"You're so pretty." Will confessed, looking fondly at Mike, who was now blushing. "Shut up." He closed the gap between them again, this time pulling Will closer to him. The lyrics of the song played softly, neither of them fully listening. "Did he just say he would be setting lotion?" Mike broke away from the kiss again. "Oh my god, who cares. Shut up and kiss me. Forget the song." Will whined and pulled Mike towards him again.

Stranger things characters and university living situations head canons part 2:

El and Max

-They share a dorm room at the university they go to together.

-They have pictures of them and the rest of the party hung up on a string of fairy lights along the wall.

-When one of Lucas’s letters for them comes they sit on Max’s bed and she reads to letter out loud while El rests her head on Max’s shoulder.

-El has a spot on on her wall that is reserved for the drawings Will sends her in the mail.

-Max has a mini shelf filled with her comics that El borrows sometimes.

-They have two beds that they mostly use so they have their own spaces but they usually just sleep in the same one

-El gets a few little plants for their dorm. Max insists on giving the plants names (this makes El laugh before she gets serious and starts brain storming names) and they will say things like “Don’t forget to water Kelly” or “Ralph isn’t looking to good this morning”.

-They treat the first few nights like a slumber party and braid each other’s hair, do their nails, talk about the party, and read/talk about comics.

-They help each other study and every time one of them gets a question right they get a quick kiss

-They talk to Dustin on the phone and he gives them tips on how to fit lots of stuff in small spaces.

-They go on a shopping trip to pick out things for their dorm and they almost get kicked out because they were running around the store having so much fun they knocked over a Display

-El has like a million little pillows on her bead and Max refuses to admit that she likes them but sometimes a few of the pillows end up on her bed

How can people use the "They're just kids" excuse against Mike and Will liking each other when opposite genders like each other too? That same logic should apply to straight people. No one should know their sexuality until they're eighteen years old. There are always reasons about why same genders can't like each other. Another popular excuse is "Why can't two people be friends without romance?" This question should be a common trend among every relationship or soon to be friendship to romance relationship. You don't have to ship Byler but don't act like they can't know at their age they have feelings for each other when M*leven are the same age too. If Byler is considered a children type dynamic then so is M*leven. Why should opposite genders know they like each other as children but same genders can't know they like each other as children? No common sense there.
