Hi! How are you?? I hope you are okay! Are you still taking requests? If you are, I have a request: What if s/o is Oda Sakunosuke's little sister/brother and s/o REALLY looks like Odasaku(Oda Sakunosuke) Their hair colour, eye colour is the same as his And s/o joins to Agency. What would ADA would do? If you aren't taking requests, you can ignore this! But if you are taking requests and if you do this, it would make my day! Thank you!!
I'm on the floor I loved this! I hope you don't mind I did a small drabble for the whole agency as one at the start but only went into details with characters that knew Oda and added Ango. I didn't know what s/o was till half way so this could be seen as platonic or romantic. I hope you liked it and feel free to tell me if there's anything I'm missing
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Familiar Faces 𓇢𓆸
Includes: Fukazawa (platonic), Ranpo, Ango, Dazai x Oda's younger sibling
Genre: Angst, hurt/comfort
Notes: Dark Era and season four spoilers!!! Slight Beast! mention but no spoilers (Fukazawa), Probably oc, not proofread, bad grammar, gn reader, reader is unaware that Oda was in the mafia, reader is implied to be over 18
Format: Headcannons/ Drabbles
Summary: Being Oda's younger sibling
Tumblr media
The Agency
You suprisingly grew up a very normal life thanks to your older brother. You knew he had a dangerous job and admired him greatly, after all who wouldn't? He took in orphans and visited them daily, bringing you along too. It became your whole life.
The day everything changed left an indescribable ache in your chest, like a piece of your world vanishing, leaving behind a void filled with quiet memories. You had just finished up school that year but your whole life was gone, everything you had was gone and you didn't even know why. It took you a few years till you decided to use your abilities for good and find out what happened.
You ended up joining a detective agency filled with ability users who are all very helpful and kind. It felt so welcoming that you genuinely enjoyed working here..but however, you couldn't help but notice three who looked at you with a certain, almost sad familiarity—as if they knew you. You hadn't met them before but they knew you- or at least some part of you that you didn't know how, they knew him. It's unnerving because how do they know?
Tumblr media
Fukazawa Yukichi
He'd recognise you immediately
Well at least who you're related too
He only met Oda once as a teenager
I don't think he met him again so I doubt he knows what happened (tell me if I'm wrong)
Might've heard that he wasn't an active assassin anymore
Definitely on guard when he meet you
Like a relative of a former assassin willing applying to be a detective?
But you were different
He could see it in your eyes that were full of emotions, loss and compassion
Unlike those eyes he saw years ago
You have never killed
It was a bit unsettling though
He needed to know of your intentions
He glanced at you and then back at the application form. He knew he recognised that name, he knew that tinge of red hair and those empty brown eyes that mirrored the features of that boy—an exact replica. To him it made sense to have this interview in the cafe instead of his office.
But the eyes he was looking into were different this time; instead of being void of any emotion it glinted with loss and nervousness. This was an interview, of course you were nervous as the older man continued to keep silent, you felt like he was judging your very soul but in reality he was wondering something else.
Finally he puts the sheets down and clears his throat "What motivated you to apply for this job?". He was curious, you were undoubtedly related to the assassin so why are you applying to be a detective? What were your intentions?
Trying to calm your nerves, you took a deep breath. "I want to do good. I want to help people, like my brother."
He didn't react, but it was evident he was waiting for further explanation, especially regarding the mention of your brother. The silence hung in the air, prompting you to delve into the details.
Hearing your explanation of Oda surprised him
He didn't know any of this (I think)
To know that kid changed into a caring young man and raised his sibling and the orphans
Those eyes that were once lifeless, with no care for his life or anything, had changed
Said he must've been a good man
I think Fukazawa would've tooken Oda in like Ranpo back then :( maybe that's what happened in beast
He gave his his condolences when he found out he died
The waitress in the café came and asked if you two were ordering
Fukazawa ordered something small
You ordered a curry, spicy specifically you said
Fukazawa officially hired you when you passed your entrance exam
He knew you were a good person
I'd like to think later on he might tell you that he met Oda when he was a teen
Tumblr media
Edogawa Ranpo
He met Oda twice
First as teens
And last in passing as adults
He tried to stop him :(
When he first met you he instantly knew you were related
He also knew that you were trying to find out how everything happened
I don't think he'd tell you at first for your sake
But as you get closer as friends maybe he would
Somewhat guiding you into figuring it out yourself
Ranpo doesn't act like it but I think he cares
You're having a bad day and about to snap?
You find a sweet you don't remember putting in your pocket
It's very small acts but it comforts you
Alone at your desk, with everyone gone home , and you asked if you could stay over a little to longer to finish something you'd been working on for months– finding out what happened that day.
Coming home from school, you headed to the curry place where you and your older brother always ate, where the orphans were cared for. Instead, you found chaos – police, bystanders, and a devastating revelation from an officer.
Devastated, you waited in grief for your brother, only to discover he was gone too. Everything you knew and loved vanished, leaving you desperate for answers.
You've been building up this personal case for months, you weren't that suprised to find out Oda was a mafiaso and former assassin but god still not knowing why everything happened still gnaws at you, Your world was taken, and the lack of understanding weighs heavily on your chest.
You groan and slump against the desk, the frustration of not knowing amplifying the ache in your chest. You felt like you were getting nowhere.
You felt a tug on your shirt and you lift your head up startled to see Ranpo leaning behind you. He doesn't bother asking why you're still here because he already knows but when you're about to ask him the same question he shushes you with his finger and pulls out a bag of sweets "I left these behind". That's a lie- unless he really wanted these specific sweets that he so happened to leave behind.
He pulls up a chair beside you, the wheels squeaking from only slight movement and plopping himself down.
Silently he offers the bag of sweets, you presume he wants you to open it and you do, going back to your papers after but he offers you the now open bag again, a silent invitation to take one.
You mutter a quiet thank you and take a sweet. It's silent as you both eat the sweets but it's a comfortable silence.
Tumblr media
Osamu Dazai
Oh my god
I can't
You knew Dazai back when Oda was alive
When he came to the house or orphans
I'd say you got along
Oda definitely told Dazai to refrain from mentioning the mafia to you
And he kept to that no matter how many times you asked Dazai about how he knew your brother or what his job was
You were probably somewhat friends :(
Didn't see each other for four years until you joined the agency
At first you didn't recognise him
He's wearing less bandages
But he certainly recognised you
An exact image of your brother
I feel like there's two ways this could go
1. He completely ignores, distancing himself from you
2. He's completely all over, absolutely protective of you and making sure your okay at all times
I think it be both
You found that everyone was quite welcoming at the agency and you got along with everyone... although there was one who always avoided you no matter what.
And that was Osamu Dazai.
The moment you stepped into the office his heart dropped as if he seen a ghost, his facade halting only for a moment before he picked up his usual demeanor again. Quietly slipping away before you see him
He'd be stupid to think you wouldn't recognise him but he ignored you anyways. Oh you're coming back from a case? Where did Dazai go? He suddenly vanished (sarcasm). You try to approach him? He is sprinting the other way.
He cannot look at you at all without thinking about Oda, he will not let you close to him again because everything he never wants to lose is always lost and he doesn't want to lose you too.
He is trying to distant himself from you, he doesn't want you to get hurt, he wants you to be safe, he wants you to live the normal life that Oda tried to give you, he wants you- your gaze, your words, your touch-and it scares him, everything worth wanting is lost the moment he obtains it, that is the life of Osamu Dazai.
Though he ignores you directly, he watches over you through other means, making sure in any plans your safety is first, that your teamed up with someone dependable and your getting home safe after work.
But Dazai can't run away from ghost's forever, not when that ghost is at arms length. He always manages to slip away when you try to even speak to him but not this time- you got him cornered, he has no choice but to see his past once again.
I don't know how to write confrontation so just wheater you argued or broke down crying
He will realise he can't keep you away
Perhaps he'll let you close again
But not too close
He knows very well that you see his facade
Being with you he doesn't have to keep his bubbly mask on
You'd both sit silently together by Oda's grave
The silence is not deafening with you, it's calm, a silent mutual understanding between you
He would definitely have nightmares of losing you too
Too the point I don't think he'd leave your side
Constantly hovering around you, partnering up with you everytime so he knows your safe, knocking at your dorm in the dead of night because of a nightmare
It's silly he thinks but still it worries him deep down, after all he is human
Tumblr media
Ango Sakaguchi
I know he's not part of the agency
But I think he helped you get into it
I think Ango would've taken care of you:(
Not directly but from afar
He'd feel too guilty
Finding out that you were looking for a job involving where you could get hurt he immediately directed you to the Agency
Partially because of Dazai
He knew he would watch over you no matter what
And you'd have each other :(

Doppo Kunikida X Fem!Reader F Scot Fitzgerald!Father X Daughter!Reader
Word Count: 1048
Requested: Anon
Request: Could you do a Bungo Stray Dogs Kunikida x reader, they are the second daughter of F Scot Fitzgerald. After their sister and Mother passed on their father became more suffocating. They left when they turned 18 and joined the detective agency as their lawyer/ advisor on legal matters. When Fitzgerald threatens the agency the reader goes to confront their father but Kunikida goes with them. Reader reveals to him that if they want any part of their grandchild’s life they’ll back off. Kunikida finds out at the moment too. How do they react?
Warning: Pregnancy, Estranged family
Tumblr media
You remember telling your story to Fukazawa, the true story of your family, your mother and sister’s death and your dad’s overbearing tendencies. You had explained that the only way to get away from him was to move countries and start a new life, you told Kunikida a less detailed story he knew the important parts about you but you never told him your father’s name but you told him where you came from and even about the loss of your mother and sister before you got together.
When your father first came to the office, you weren’t there (you were sure the boss had done that on purpose) but you honestly wished that you had been, maybe you could have stopped all of this from happening but you knew your father, and you had a trump card that was going to win you the war against your father. So when he decided to attack Naomi and Kirako you told the boss that you had a plan, one that involved winning with no fighting at all. He ordered Kunikida to go with you.
You pulled out your phone, scrolling through your contacts and clicking on the one that was labelled dad, you hoped that he kept the same number and honestly you doubted that he would change it in fear that he’d never hear from you again. “Hello?” He asked and honestly you hoped for a second that he had changed. “Dad calls off the attack on the agency clerks and then we can talk, I have some news that I’m sure you’d want to hear.” You wagered and Kunikida looked down at you. “I there a place you would like to meet?” He asked. “There’s a little cafe on the south side of the city, I’ll send you the address.” You said. “I’ll see you soon, treasure.” He said before hanging up the phone. You closed your eyes, taking a deep breath. “He’s your father?” Kunikida asked after he was sure that you had hung up the phone. “I don’t think my family problems outweigh the safety of the rest of you.” You explained. “Are you sure?” He asked as he lifted his hand to your cheek to make you look at him, he had always been able to read you so you didn’t bother lying. “I don’t know… But I have to try, we can’t just let him keep trying to kill everyone.” You shrugged. “I’ll come with you.” You didn’t know if that was better or worse, you had yet to tell him about the bargaining chip that you were about to use. You had found out that morning that you were pregnant and it was of course Kunikida’s child. You’d seen him with children you trusted that he’d be an amazing father and the rest of the team would be the best family. You had planned to reach out to your father, to tell him about his grandchild you just expected to be doing that after telling the father about the baby.
You set up the meeting and waited at the cafe, Kunikida sat next to you the whole time “there’s something that I need to tell you before he gets here.” You said turning to him. “Don’t worry about it, I’ll stay with you no matter what, we can talk about anything else later.” He promised. “This is kind of important.” You said hand falling to your stomach not that he seemed to notice anything but before either of you could address anything a shadow cast over you. “It’s been a while.” Your father said as he looked down at you, Kunikida stood shielding you from him. “So you're the protector Louisa wrote about. I’m not going to hurt her.” “I’d never believe that.” Kunikida glared at him but you took his hand pulling him to sit. “It’s okay he won’t.” You reassured him as your father took his seat in front of you. “So what do you want to talk about?” He asked. The way that he looked at you made you think that you were wrong about how well this plan was going to work, he was looking at you like a treasure he needed to reacquire, the love that used to show on his face hidden from you. You laced your fingers with Kunikida before speaking hoping that both of them reacted the way that you wanted. “I’m pregnant and if you want anything to do with your grandchild you’ll leave their family alone.” You warned, his eyes widened and the silence that took over the table made you want to leave, you looked at your father and saw the look of shock on his face. “Grandchild?” He asked. “Yes.” You nodded. “I planned on calling you after I told Kunikida but you messed up that plan.” Kunikida tightened his grip on your hand causing you to look over at him, he was looking at you, you couldn’t tell what he was thinking but you couldn’t dwell on it for the moment. “You presented a good deal.” He said as he stood from the table “I’ll be in contact, no need to worry about your friends for now.” He stood from the table a small smirk on his face, before standing and walking away with one sentence “I’ll be in touch.” “Pregnant?” Kunikida asked. “I wanted to tell you before telling anyone else but I couldn’t think of any other way to get him to back off.” You explained “I know you might not want a kid so you-” Kunikida got you to stop talking by pressing a kiss to your lips. “I want everything with you.” He said. “Everything?” You asked. “Everything.” He promised, kissing his temple. “We are going to have to revisit your eating and that offer to sleep on the floor yesterday.” “Well I didn’t know that I was pregnant yesterday.” You answered. “And if you take anything apart from alcohol away from me I’ll kill you myself.” “We’ll talk.” He said softly as he led you back to the safety of the underground hideout, you knew that things were going to change but you were more than excited for the baby, your relationship with Kunikida and the possibility of mending your relationship with your father.

Kirakira!: Fukazawa Tatsuya
Tumblr media
[People you think are sparkling]
(Sato) Shori! We sometimes appear together in Johnny’s Gaming Room but you can ruthlessly see that he is of a different kind from me or (Tanaka) Juri (laughs). Because look, I’m mostly in glasses and Juri doesn’t even set his hair and just puts on a hat, right? It’s not like Shori puts on makeup (when appearing on the channel), but he’s just naturally radiating light! That’s probably a star quality that you were already born with. Not just his outward looks but he also has personality and kindness too! He really is a good person!
[Sparkling skill]
Waking up early is important. My eyebags look like it’s going to pop out when my face puffs up (due to lack of sleep/ liquid retention). That’s why if I think it's bad when I wake up then I soak in the bathtub so I’ll sweat out a lot.  I’ll end up looking like some type of monster if I don’t do that (laughs). On the day before important photoshoots, I refrain from eating stuff with high salt content like ramen! Speaking of costumes, it feels like I’ll suit white costumes instead of black ones. There are a lot of times when people tell me “You look good” whenever I wear white costumes! Maybe it’s because my skin is white?
[An episode where you weren’t sparkling]
That no one notices me in town even though it’s been a while since our debut (laughs). Having said that, it’s because recently I often wear a mask and a hat plus glasses. The other day, someone called out to me and said “You’re Snow Man’s Fukazawa-kun, right?” and I got surprised instead and answered “How did you know?” (laughs). It’s because no one could tell it’s me just if I wear a mask. The people who notice me have increased compared to before but I think it’s still few. Going out to walk in town and causing a slight panic... I’d like to experience that. How about right now? I can walk at ease! (laughs)
[A view you admire and want to see someday]
The scenery at the stadium or from the stage of the National Stadium. I stood there as a backup dancer for the senpais; that view really is amazing! Someday I want to stand there as the main performer! I’d like to experience an outdoor concert where it suddenly rains in the middle and we continue performing while dripping wet. Of course, having clear skies is still the best. Even though it’s a big stadium, I want to think of a system where they (the fans) could feel that the distance between us is shorter. Even the moving stage that Matsumoto Jun-kun thought of, other groups are using that too, right? I also want to make something from zero like that! It’s my dream to do a concert where people would talk about it for a long time like “That started with Snow Man!”!

From Sakurai Ariyoshi The Yakai 2021/12/30 (part 2):
Fukazawa has the impression that Jun is particular about everything.
M: That’s right. Especially water.
S: He has specific preferences, like this one is good, something like that. It depends on the season.
M: Once I decide that I will only drink this water, I really won’t drink anything else.
Sho offers them drinks and Michopa remarks that they probably don’t have expensive water here. For some reason Ariyoshi insists that he’s walking home so he can have alcohol. Jun is impressed by the size of the kitchen.
Jun asks if Fukazawa has drunk with him. He has, but not like this. It was on occasions like Johnny-san’s birthday. Ariyoshi asks if he’s nervous.
Fukazawa: I’m more nervous with him compared to Sakurai-kun.
Sho: (hits him twice)
Tumblr media
Fukazawa: It’s because he’s always like this. He’s treats me kindly.
Ariyoshi: You don’t meet him much?
Fukazawa and Jun agree that, surprisingly, they don’t get to meet much.
Fukazawa: His aura is amazing.
M: (Sakurai’s) aura is amazing, right.
Fukazawa: Sakurai-kun, too, of course.
M: (to Sho) Why did you make that face just now, when you turned around?
Tumblr media
Fukazawa mentions that it’s amazing that he’s now standing between the two.
Michopa can’t drink alcohol at all. Jun asks Fukazawa to prepare everyone’s drinks while he starts washing.
Sho mentions that this scene is something he sees a lot, Matsujun cleaning up. Michopa says that it’s rare. Ariyoshi adds that it’s like a drama. Jun says this happens a lot.
S: Really. He cleans after we’re done.
M: When I went to Sakurai-kun’s place, I also do this before going home.
S: Very clean. I was surprised.
The group gathers at the table with a very nervous Fukazawa. Jun starts talking about the impression he gets from Snow Man. For example, they’re capable, and they’re good at dancing. It’s good to have a good-for-nothing in the group. Ariyoshi says that he thinks that it’s Fukazawa.
Sho decides to start preparing the food. Michopa makes a comment how Jun was able to relax, but now he seems busy. Jun agrees.
M: Now, it’s no different than when Arashi was still active.
Tumblr media
Sho brings a portable hot plate. He says that he has asked Jun to bring the meat he received for his birthday. Jun explains that he got it from his friend who sells meat. He requested it so that it could be sent as a take-out and gave it to Sho as his birthday present. That meat was well-received and Jun has prepared the same thing for today.
Ariyoshi and Michopa make a comment how Jun has a lot of friends.
Jun takes out the lamb meat and starts explaining what he got for them. He gave lamb meat and jerk chicken from his friend who runs a chicken store and another one who runs a Genghis-Khan restaurant. Sho mentions that the chicken was delicious.
Michopa asks if they send presents to each other. Jun says Arashi always does. Sho starts talking about the present that he’s been looking for for Jun’s birthday. He hasn’t found it yet. It’s the golf cap from the Olympics that has the letter J on it. He wanted to buy two but it was already sold out.
M: Using Sakurai-san’s power, it’ll be found in no time, right?
S: No, it’s impossible. Even though I wanted to give that to Matsujun.
Michopa has also brought some meat for the year-end party. Sho also has something prepared. Vegetables from Kisarazu collected earlier in the morning to make umamijiru.
Tumblr media
Sho starts explaining about umamijiru since nobody knows what it is.
M: Aren’t you doing cooking on a different show?
S: I do.
M: So you do.
Sho explains that it’s more difficult doing it at home because at the set, the portions have been prepared beforehand. Jun tells him he should do it at home, it’ll give him a better sense for cooking, for example how to use the knife, the seasonings and such. Ariyoshi says that his work will increase if he does.
S: That sounds good.
Tumblr media
M: Maybe they’ll ask you to do a cooking show.
S: That sounds good.
Ariyoshi: You sure like working.
M: Where is he aiming to?

Omggg what about sister Headcanons for them like older or a smaller sister.(You can pick any character)
//So many of these precious characters need the guidance of an older sister, so let’s do older sister headcanons! I could so do this for like, majority of the characters. As an older sister myself, all I wanna do is help these poor souls XD I may have gotten a little carried away here.
Tumblr media
Atsushi Nakajima
As the older sister of Atsushi, it would be easy to compare your life to taking a burning stroll through hell. It wasn’t easy, having to watch on as your little brother is beaten for reasons he didn’t know or understand. You barely understood yourself, but you did try to take care of him to the best of your ability.
After leaving the orphanage, the two of you wandered together for a bit before eventually, Atsushi took it upon himself to keep you safe from the ‘tiger’ following him and left you. You looked up and down for him but to no avail, he was always on the run and because he was always running, there was no telling how far he would get in a day, what turn he would have made and if he was even alive anymore.
You had a better grasp as to what was wrong with him now, understood he was an ability user- you had heard of them during your time on the streets but wasn’t sure how to explain it to him, so you kept it to yourself for now. You’ve regretted that decision every day since because maybe, just maybe, your baby brother wouldn’t have run off the way he did.
You just thought for sure that while together, you had done enough for him to feel safe with you. You gathered as much food as you could- though it wasn’t much- you were more willing to steal than he was, kept him as warm as you could, told him stories you’d made up in your head to help him sleep and even stayed up at night to ease his mind about the tiger returning, despite you knowing that it was in fact him that was the tiger.
It was months after he ran off that you met again. Atsushi was on a job, nothing serious, and you were running down the street, still in ragged clothes and holding a loaf of bread close to your chest. You weren’t looking where you were going for a spit second, looking back to see if you were still being chased, only to run right into the boy, knocking him to the ground and making you drop the bread.
The both of you immediately sprung into apologising to each other, helping each other up before finally making eye contact. As much as I’d like to say you threw yourself at him and the two of you hugged in the middle of the street, the guy chasing you caught up and pulled you back by the collar of your shirt, yelling at you about stealing form him and how he was going to report you to the police and everything.
Atsushi almost threw himself at the man but quickly put two and two together when he saw the bread on the ground. Taking responsible action, he calmed the man down and paid for the bread to get you out of trouble and once everything was taken care of, he took you by the hand and brought you elsewhere, where you finally held on tight to each other, quietly weeping to each other about how much you’d missed each other.
From there, he takes you back to his apartment so you can get cleaned up and things go from there.
Being his older sister means lecturing him whenever he doesn’t take care of himself properly because he doesn’t exactly know how to or because he’s been too stressed out or distracted to do so. It means being scared for his safety often because he’s constantly dealing not only with the mafia but other dangerous people who could hurt him. It’s being so proud of the new skills he’s developing, the control he has over his ability and him finally finding people he can trust aside from yourself. It also means putting up with Osamu Dazai on the Daily because ‘Hey, Atsushi has a cute older sister.’
I don’t really think Atsushi would allow his older sister to join the ADA and would maybe insist she get a job in the café downstairs as it would be safer but still close to him. He feels like he should be the one protecting you because of what he does now. He knows he’s capable of taking care of you.
This does not, by any means, mean that you don’t treat him like your baby brother. This is the kind of relationship where you’ll openly be affectionate towards him in front of everyone, lecture him in front of others and so on. Embarrassing older sister anyone? I also see you bringing him lunch whenever he forgets or you’re feeling generous (which makes Dazai swoon and beg you to bring him lunch sometime- before asking you to commit a double suicide with him)
Oh for the record, Atsushi isn’t one to get too grumpy with Dazai, not openly at least, but he does get really fed up with him asking you to commit suicide with him all the time though so he has been seen passively telling Dazai off.
It’s a very loving relationship, the two of you supporting each other in ways you always have in the past, but now with the benefits of being able to eat properly, stay warm and healthy and not need to rely on each other to survive another day of hell, because every day isn’t hell anymore.
Tumblr media
Kyoka Izumi
If Kyoka was to have an older sister, she’d be reasonably older, perhaps a stepsister that wasn’t around when their parents died. I imagine she would have been studying abroad or something of the sort, so by the time she arrived to be there for her baby sister, Kyoka was already gone.
This would leave you searching for her for years. Missing posters, private detectives, constantly bothering the police, asking if they had any leads yet and so on.
You would end up broke, exhausted, possibly depressed and unbelievably desperate, so much, that you would take one last chance at reaching out for help. The police had recommended the Armed Detective Agency to you after pestering them repeatedly, but you had been sceptical.
You still were after seeing them. They seemed quite… unorthodox. Not a very professional bunch but then again, they seemed to be focused on making sure the dramatic brunette left you alone.
That was last year and even they didn’t seem to come up with anything, so you slowly began to lose hope.
You didn’t find out that they had found Kyoka until after she had officially joined the Armed Detective Agency and you’d just about choked Dazai out for waiting so long to call you until Fukazawa explained their reasoning to you.
After that, you were a sobbing mess, in the middle of the office, just holding onto your little sister who seemed oh so unsure of how to feel. She had thought for sure that you had forgotten about her, that you’d not even bothered searching for her and continued on with your life. It took her a while, but she too broke down, more so from relief than anything else, as she had someone who actually loved her by her side.
You would be so grateful towards Atsushi for everything he had done for Kyoka, he was the reason she was still alive after all. This was after managing to sit through the explanation of what’s been going on for the last few years.
This being said, it was no big surprise that you, Kyoka and Atsushi started going out places together, having a good time and experiencing the many amazing things in life that they and even you had missed out on over the years.
I totally reckon Kyoka’s big sister would totally take Atsushi in as a lil brother or something thanks to all he’s done for the girl.
Alone time with Kyoka would often involve eating. The both of you are foodies and share a love for crepes. Your time together isn’t just spent eating though. It’s full of kept promises, getting to know each other again, teaching each other new things and rebuilding a bond that was never given a chance to bloom in the past.
Much like she does with the ADA, she looks to you for guidance since she doesn’t know how to live a normal life anymore, but she’s bound to adjust quickly.
You offer to take her away with you, away from the mafia and the ADA, but she insists on staying, leaving you to settle down in town so she can continue to stay with Atsushi and the others, keeping a close eye on her and giving her a place to live so she isn’t crowding Atsushi.
Tumblr media
Chuuya Nakahara
Chuuya was a loner from the start, so you’re not his actual sister. Instead, you’re the one who found him on his own and offered him a hand up. Sure, he didn’t exactly trust you at first but over time, the two of you came to rely on each other and eventually formed a sibling bond. If someone asked if you were siblings, the answer was quite simple. Yes.
Even while you were members of Sheep, you, being relatively high rank thanks to Chuuya becoming the leader, the two of you remained closer than anyone else. You could see Chuuya, in a way, liked being relied on, gave him a purpose. You were of course, proud of his strength, but also a little concerned over the dangers that came with the Port Mafia fighting with the Sheep constantly. Of course, you were just as much of a delinquent teenager as anyone else was, but you didn’t want your little brother on the front lines like that.
Honestly, you’re concerned about him most of the time until he joins the Port Mafia. Whether you join or not doesn’t make too much of a difference to your relationship. If you don’t join, Chuuya would insist you receive the Mafia’s protection as a condition to him joining their ranks. If you do join, he insists you stay by his side.
I doubt you’d become an executive unless you’re able to develop quite the amount of skill like Dazai or have an ability that is of great value. You need to be ruthless to be an executive and I don’t quite see Chuuya being okay with you changing so drastically. He’s always been this way, while you’ve been softer, kind, helping those around you when they need it. So, you’d most likely end up a subordinate, but still ranking quite highly.
You’re not allowed around Dazai without Chuuya there and even then, he doesn’t want you around Dazai. Chuuya would rather die than allow Dazai to lay a hand on you. Not only because he sees him as a complete asshole who should kill himself already, but because he understands that Dazai is an incredibly dangerous, deceptive guy who can and will hurt you if he needs to. (Dazai would never hurt you).
You hate it when he uses Corruption. Seeing him or just hearing about him losing control in such a way hurts you deep down because you know that he could easily die after taking a whole lot of lives. You have slapped Dazai for being careless while he was in that form too. If something were to happen to your brother while they were together, and it could have been prevented, you will blame Dazai.
Despite this, you’re both heavily impacted by Dazai’s disappearance, but you step up to help your little brother handle his anger (mostly about his exploded car) and even became his new partner on important missions. Meaning, yes, you became an executive.
Do the two of you drink wine together? Hell, yes you do. It’s how you relax, unwind from all the stress of the mafia. It’s time for you two of open up to each other and reminisce about the past, even if it did suck.
You take care of him to the best of your ability, even if he is stronger than you in so many ways. He won’t say it out loud but you are his rock. He needs you to keep him grounded. If anything were to happen to his big sister, the one he relied on so much to get by, he wouldn’t be able to cope.
Days off are almost always spent together. Treating each other out to lunch, getting drinks, buying new clothes, and just acting like normal people. You’re both very ready to jump into action if need be, whether it’s against criminals, targets or just assholes getting in your way. Chuuya also doesn’t tolerate guys flirting with you. No one is good enough for you. In return, you tend to cockblock him when he meets someone because two can play at that game.
While being Chuuya’s older sister, you don’t always get to see him or act as an older sister to him. Actually, a lot of your time while you can’t be together and you’re not doing your own thing, is spent on Akutagawa and Gin. Having had a rough childhood, somewhat like theirs, you take it upon yourself to try guide them in the right direction and even too over Akutagawa’s training. Needless to say, you were a lot easier on him than Dazai was, but it was too late to make much of an impact on him. Gin, however, was easier, so you kinda have a younger sister now too. Aku is you new lil bro, he just doesn’t know it.
You and Chuuya don’t rely too heavily on each other. Well, you do but you don’t. You need each other, no doubt, but you can cope on your own as long as you know the other is okay. You don’t want Mori finding out about how much you guys need each other because while you’re both completely and utterly loyal to the man, you both are very aware that he is a bad man who can and will manipulate situations to his advantage.
So, just a headcanon of mine- obviously, but I feel like the two of you could share a penthouse apartment of sorts. Absolute comfort considering the money you both make and all that Jazz. You both have your own large rooms, your own bathrooms and all that, but you’re always close. Your rooms aren’t far from each other, you sit across from each other at the dinner table, sit right next to each other when watching tv and occasionally, when one is having a hard time sleeping, you’ll curl up beside each other to help ease you both into sleep, feeling safe in each other’s presence.

Five Beasts Anon - yes they absolutely get to hug! Also, this would be absolutely heartbreaking from Atsushi's point of view. Imagine: he's just finished a successful mission with Dazai and Kyouka, and they're walking along the river to go and get chazuke. Atsushi's listening to Dazai tell a joke, when he stiffens, smelling a familiar-but-not scent. For some reason, it reminds him of forests and clear night skies, and cuddling for warmth with his siblings. 1/
He puts it out of his mind. After all, he thinks bitterly, the Headmaster was pretty clear when he said they were dead. He's about to turn back to Dazai, when he hears a choked "Atsushi...?" from behind. He turns around, and feels his breath catch in his lungs. That's- that's Aoi, standing behind him with a face full of shock/hope. And- he's older, with longer hair and more scars than Atsushi remembers, but that's definitely his big brother. 2/
Atsushi is barely aware of Dazai and Kyouka, as he lunges forward to hug his long thought dead big brother. He starts to cry, just as Aoi's arms wrap around him and they both sink to the ground. Atsushi can barely get the words out between his sobs. "I-I don't u-understand, h-h-he tol-ld m-me you were /d-dea-d/". He feels Aoi tilt his head up, and watches him smile despite the tears running down his face. "What a coincidence, he told me the very same thing when I looked for you" 2/
Aoi's heart breaks, watching the surprise of Atsushi's face. "Of course I looked for you, cub. You're our youngest. I searched for everywhere." 3/
It's a reunion full of hugs and tears, until they hear someone cough from behind. "So, Atsushi," Dazai says with a smile, and suspicious eyes trained on Aoi, "would you mind introducing us to your 'friend'?". From behind him, Kyouka has a white-knuckled grip on her sword. Atsushi wipes off his tears and smiles. "Sure, but it might be easier if we go back to the Agency, so I can tell everyone at once. Aoi, are you coming?"4/
"Of course", says Aoi, barring his teeth at Dazai in a way that vaguely resembles a smile (it's hot, but Dazai would rather die than admit that), "I'd love to meet your friends" 5/
I just had a great idea! To me, nothings funnier that 2+ characters forgetting they're married, so let's add that! at some point, A/M/F get utterly wasted, and stumble past a church. And because Natsume-sensei is the one with the braincells, their black-out drunk brains decide "hey, let's get married!". And through a combination of bribery, cajolling, and blackmail, the poor priest is forced to marry them to each-other. 9/
They topple into bed (whether sexy times happen is up to you), and wake up with absolutely no memory of the previous night (i.e, the goddamn marriage). Keep in mind they didn't buy rings (see: blackout dunk + on-the-spot marriage), Ami probably leaves for the orphanage soon after. So they spend the next decade and a bit unaware that they are, in fact, A Thing(tm) 10/
So, time goes by, and A/M/F never find out they're married. And when someone does find out, it's not Mori, it's not, Fukazawa, and it's definitely not Ami. It's Ranpo, who was messing around in the city databses, and stubled across they're marriage certificate. Cue Ranpo barging into the Agency screaming "wHEN WERE YOU GOING TO TELL ME YOU WERE MARRIED!" Cue the mass confusion 11/
five beasts: the reason they don't like to stay together too long when they're older is simple - old habits die hard. the longer they're together, the more they forget things change. they keep finding themselves turning for the ghost of their little brother, forgetting he's not there, and it hurts every time. But when Aoi calls the other three in tears, saying he's found Atsushi? you better believe they're in Yokahoma the next day (shapeshifting abilities may have been used) 12/
(im sorry but there are some parts that missed and was never sent i assume?)
GOD WHEN THEY HUGGED AND CRIED I HUGGED MY COMPUTER AND CRIED HOW DARE YOU THAT HURT SO GOOD. and the other three ones just immediately dropping everything to go see atsushi is amazing
also A/M/F getting married is a Yes For Me (sexy times always happen no matter what) AND THEM NEVER KNOWING AGSJKDSHDJKS. imagine you adopt a know it all kid who then suddenly reveals to you that youve been married all along thats hilarious

Q and Dazai Headcanons Part 2
Set in an AU where Dazai took Q with him when he left.
Part One here
Requested by @nbginrou
Oda’s last request was that Dazai protect the weak and care for the children, so he decided that he needed to take Q out of the Mafia with him. As such, the night he left, he snuck down to where Q was being kept and woke them up, telling them nothing except that they were leaving.
Bleary-eyed, Q followed him out of the building and into the city. It wasn’t until the next morning, in an apartment Dazai bought so that the Mafia couldn’t find them, that he explained what was happening. Q cried for reasons not even they could explain, a combination of confusion and terror and relief. Dazai didn’t know what to do, so he just stood there, watching.
They learned how to function together slowly, through trial and error. Neither quite knew what to do with the other at the beginning, but they slowly learned how to live together and even take care of each other.
Q cried a lot in those early days, leaving Dazai to figure out what to do. It took him about a month to realize that Q likes physical contact when they’re scared or upset, so he does whatever he can to be touching them when they need support, playing with their hair or rubbing their back or pulling them into his side when they have a nightmare or something sets off their more painful memories.
Q, in turn, learns to read Dazai in ways no one else quite can. Dazai is naturally good at hiding what he’s thinking and feeling, but they’ve learned to pick up on the little queues that slip through. As such, they take extra care to be nice to him when something’s wrong but no one else can tell.
When Dazai joined the Armed Detective Agency, he brought Q with him. Being 11, they were too young to join, of course, but he brought them along anyway. Instead of being raised in the cellar of the Port Mafia, they grew up in the offices of the Armed Detective Agency.
When they turn fifteen, Fukazawa finally concedes to let them join the Agency. Once they pass the entrance exam, Dazai goes with them on their first mission to make sure everything goes well. With the two of them working together, the mission went off without a hitch. They know each other well enough to work perfectly in tandem, both from their past in the Mafia and then their lives together, making them an efficient team.
They become each other’s support system, the only ones who know what the other has been through. They rely on each other to hold them together. The two of them built a life together after leaving everything behind, and they know that the life they have is so much better than what could have been.

TOKIO no Oshigoto! Vol. 91 *scans (c) yoshiko_mama*
Limited-Time Special Project — Let’s hear from big brother TOKIO
This time, Taichi-san’s “favorite member” Iwamoto Hikaru (Snow Man) makes his appearance! This conversation was inside of one of the waiting rooms in Tokyo-Nissay Theatre. Actually, this was the time Taichi-san went to watch the stage play, “Shounentachi, Soshite, Sore Kara…”, starring SixTONES and Snow Man, which ran until September (it’s also the day Taichi uploaded 2-shots on his TAHICHI Blog).
Now that Taichi-san’s earnest wish for an interview has come true, what does he want to convey to Iwamoto-kun? While there’s a peaceful atmosphere between the two, it’s definitely inevitable to be struck by their passionate feelings!
— about 4 performances’ worth of energy
Before the conversation begins, “if things go wrong, is it okay if I call Snow Man’s last weapon - Fukazawa Tatsuya?", said Iwamoto-kun with half-serious eyes.  Despite the nervousness, however, Taichi-san’s gentle lead made the talk exciting.
Moreover, speaking of “Shounentachi”, Taichi-san gave a specific advice. “It would be better to express the last line more slowly with  an 'I want to convey this' feeling.” Iwamoto-kun also seriously replied, “I will immediately adjust it”. After the talk, Taichi-san left with a satisfied smile, commenting, “it’s like I’ve used up 4 performances worth of energy”. May the feelings Taichi-san conveyed becomes a magic word and illuminates the future of these guys.
Kokubun💙 : thank you for giving your time even though you’re in the middle of your stage play.
Iwamoto💛: no, no, no! Likewise, thank you very much!
Kokubun💙: It’s the first time we’ll have a proper talk, right. Although we met once to interview you during your practice (for Vivit).
Iwamoto💛: Yes, I agree.
Kokubun💙: The atmosphere when you’re in rehearsal hall is really different from the atmosphere on stage, ne. I was really shocked when I saw “Johnny’s Happy New Year IsLAND”. I uttered “I’ve found my favorite member” on my radio instinctively.
Iwamoto💛: I was able to hear that.
Kokubun💙: Really!?
Iwamoto💛:  I was like, “Yeess!!” (laughs) But why did Taichi-kun pick me among the many Jrs. out there?
Kokubun💙: With regard to “IsLAND”, it’s been ages since I last went to watch a stage play by Johnny-san. A part of me has this feeling that it’s a Juniors’ stage play but when I actually saw it, I thought, “they are this good!?”, it really surprised me. And even among them, Iwamoto-kun knows his way of presenting. I felt like you study things like "doing it this way for a group looks attractive", and that you are constantly pursuing for that. And also, your take on the rhythm is a bit different from those around you. Like you take it from behind. I’m talking about sense but, regardless whether it’s dancing or playing musical instruments, taking the rhythm from behind is cooler.
Iwamoto💛: thank you very much…!
Kokubun💙: are you conscious about rhythm after all?
Iwamoto💛: I usually choreograph for the group including the song during Shounentachi’s SHOW TIME. And when I’m thinking, I put in mind the members’ way of dancing and I also study foreign artists’ dance rhythm. And then on top of that, I’ll apply them thinking, “I wonder if it would feel better for this person to do this”.
Kokubun💙: I see~ I guess after all, it’s because you usually watch various dancers and absorb them that you could be like that. That’s amazing. For us TOKIO, there were so many parts of us that developed after debuting. But there’s a group that is already well-established even before debuting. So I think the next thing this group needs is experience. I think that over the next ten years, when Snow Man’s performance has been even more polished, you’ll become a dangerous group. Thinking about it makes me excited..... is it okay for me to praise you this much (laughs).
Iwamoto💛: Ahahaha! But it makes me reaaaally happy!
Kokubun💙: You know, even about “Shounentachi”, I've already talked about this in everyone’s dressing room a while ago but, the resolution you all have is way different from that of my generation. And it is exactly because that resolution is conveyed that made me feel good while watching. Everyone has that greediness, ne.
Iwamoto💛: Yes. After all, we have this feeling that we won’t get any chances unless we have special skills like “I can do this more than anyone else”. So everyday, we put efforts to improve on something.
Kokubun💙: It’s exactly because you have so many frustrating feelings that you can say that. That’s really cool, you know. And it's alright to show that even on places, in a sense, "traditional", directed by Johnny-san. I was actually told by someone who has always been taking care of me in my newscasting job, “Taichi-san, I suggest you watch the stageplay by Johnny-san. Young men who are currently popular are facing other young men from their own generation, and their performances convey war. There’s no entertainment as beautiful as that.” And it indeed was. Even in the field of journalism, there are people who think so, you know. That’s why I think, it’s truly a rewarding thing to be in the position to do that, and at the same time, it comes with responsibility.
Iwamoto💛: Yes…!
Kokubun💙: Sorry, I suddenly started talking seriously (laughs).
Iwamoto💛: No, no, I don’t mind!!
Kokubun: It’s because I thought, “among the juniors, Snow Man and SixTONES in particular are the groups that inherited Johnny-san’s production.”
Iwamoto💛: Snow Man has the longest history among all the groups so our, should I call it potential, or things that our seniors have taught us up to now, we have this consciousness that we have to teach all that we have inherited to the younger ones.
Kokubun💙: How about things that you want to challenge from now on?
Iwamoto💛: Uhm, I’m thinking that I would like to try performing abroad. I’m fascinated by the idea of being able to move people through dancing or expressions even without using words. I wish I could move someone through my own dancing in various places not limited to Japan.
Kokubun💙: Then, it’s really a good thing that you can deliver your videos on YouTube right now. People all over the world can watch.
Iwamoto💛: Yes.
Kokubun💙: Sometimes, I also watch your videos.
Iwamoto💛: Eehh, is that so!?
Kokubun: Yep. I also just recently had a talk with Tackey (Takizawa Hideaki). I said, “even just a little, isn’t there a better way of using YouTube?”
Iwamoto💛: Eeehh!?
Kokubun💙: The videos you have uploaded so far are a bit long and are directed towards fans, right. Of course, I think that’s important and necessary, but I was thinking, isn’t there a way to make people other than them watch your videos? For example, within 1-2 months, there will be one time where you put a 2-minute video showing a particular dance angle. Then have a creator from the same generation as you to direct it. That way, you’ll definitely be able to make something that we, the older generations, can’t. And I think it’ll spread easily, and there’ll be rumors like, “who are those guys who perform so well!?”, “they’re Johnny’s?”. There hasn’t been anything like that up until now, so aren’t that the coolest? And I’m thinking that maybe, it’s you guys who have the ability to do that kind of performance.
Iwamoto💛: Taichi-kun, please direct that!
Kokubun💙: Actually, I have said that too. “Let me do it just once!”
Iwamoto💛: Eehh~!
Kokubun💙: I also have been telling the YouTube staffs, “since it’s not like all of them have a pin mic, sometimes their voices echo and it sounds unclear, it’s such a waste so it’s better to look for places where the sound won’t break.”
Iwamoto💛: Is that so!? It’s my first time hearing about this so I’m really surprised (laughs). Please, by all means, direct us!!
Kokubun: but after all, that’s being presumptuous.
Iwamoto💛: no, not at all! not at all!
Kokubun💙: Even without saying that I’ll direct, just like what Iwamoto-kun said a while ago, there’s a part of me that thinks it’ll be good if my juniors could get something from my experiences. What I’ve become might be of a different genre, but I think there are definitely things that I could convey. And if, with that, you all are able to go to a new stage, it will make me happy as your senior. But of course, you should also continue things that have been our "tradition"! That’s important. And above that, it’ll be good if you can go to the outside world more and more from now on.
Iwamoto💛: actually, from the end of October, Watanabe (Shota), Abe (Ryohei) and I, 3 members from Snow Man, will star on our first external stageplay.
Kokubun💙: Eeh!? That’s great!!
Iwamoto💛: This would give us a chance to see just how much our dancing and performance skills could get across, and even if they don't, it’ll become an experience. So no matter how I think about it, this is really a chance for us.
Kokubun💙: that’s right. And I believe that you won’t understand where you stand unless you experience it firsthand, with your skin. And after that, by the time you come back, I believe something would change in you. A while ago in the dressing room, Jesse-kun also said, “I want to be seen by more people”. Is CD debut one of your goals, after all?
Iwamoto💛: I never thought of that as the goal, but I do think that we need to stand there first or else we won’t be able to fight in front. We have been receiving so many jobs to be grateful for, but I also have some classmates who are already starring in movies; becoming actors who are able to lead. Even if I feel like, “look at us now”, in the end, I feel like I’m just still on the underground, and it somehow makes me feel down….
Kokubun💙: I see. That’s an honest opinion. Indeed, if you have classmates like that, it’ll make you impatient and frustrated. But you know, the way I see it, being on the underground for a long time means something amazing is being nurtured, that’s why I think there’s no need to worry about that. I'm very sure that somewhere, a chance will come!
Iwamoto💛: Do you think we’ll have?
Kokubun💙: you will! Even when TOKIO debuted, we didn’t sell at all. We tried to keep a cool outward appearance saying, “it’s because we’re doing rock [songs]~”, but deep inside, we were very frustrated. And at that time, V6 and KinKi Kids debuted and immediately ranked no. 1. But for us, it took more than 5 years before we could reach the no. 1 spot. I understand your frustrations but there’s no need to panic. Your time will definitely come with a bang!
Iwamoto💛: Yes…! Hearing it from someone who had an experience, I could really feel the weight of your comment. It’s not a magic word, but being told by Taichi-kun that “there’s a chance” really increased my motivation…! I will do my best!!
Kokubun💙: You’re such a good kid. The next time I feel down, I’ll give you a call.
Iwamoto💛: isn’t it the other way around!? (laughs)
Kokubun💙: I want to be praised by others.
Iwamoto💛: if you’re fine with me, then (laughs)
Kokubun💙: wait, let’s exchange contact details for real.
Iwamoto💛: Sure! Please!

NON-SPOILER REVIEW Overall: This is a lot of fun. Many times the audience were dying in hysterics of laughter. It's a simple story but it's very funny, packed full with comedy and hilarious moments. The characters are interesting and it has some ridiculous moments. I can't really say anythnig else about it other than say it's entertaining and very funny! ALSO I am very thankful for the high-touch at the end of show! I got to high touch with so many actors that I like!! It appears this stage isn't selling out which makes me sad because it's got some really great names in it and it's a lot of fun! Rating: 8.5/10

SPOILER REVIEW
PRE-SHOW Well this place is fancy as fuck... << was the first thoughts that went through my mind xD also I quickly realised that ‘Oh, it's also where Wakasamagumi is going to be this time around!’ which got me excited although I probably won’t be going. I forgot how many damn actors that I love that are in this! And there was a high touch after this so I was super nervous because I like a LOT of actors who were in this!!
MAIN PLOT
So five friends decide to meet up for their 10th year High School anniversary, especially one of them (Masshu) is adamant on them getting their seishun/youth feeling back. So they go back to the place where they all met and were forced to spend one month as a summer extra curriculum activity. While at first, as students, they hated the idea of having to spend a month of their summer holiday doing classes and cleaning and spending time with people they don't know or like, especially our main character Naoki (Harashima Motohisa and Masaki Kaoru) who has no interest at all in making friends or even continuing being with them after the activity is done. But as the summer classes go on, they all genuinely begin to bond and enjoy their time and by the end, they don't want to depart and want to end their summer by making a festival, which will hopefully attract all the nearby schools which all happen to be ALL-GIRL schools (while they're stuck in an all-boys school).
THE SHOW ITSELF
Oh this was so funny! Unfortunately I spent the first 30 minutes of this play in a LOT of pain with my back from some reason so I couldn't fully immerse or get into the story even though I really wanted to laugh along with everyone else! *cries* but once the back-pain passed, I did not stop laughing and there were so many rounds of applause from the audience because so many parts were absolutely hilarious! I was dying of laughter as was everyone else and some of them on stage were dying too - I'm looking right at you Higuchi! He could not contain he laughter at some times xD this little shit.
I'll do my usual, go through actors and hopefully talk about their characters and what I thought and some scenes that stood out to me.
I was so surprised to see Harashima Motohisa (he plays future Naoki) in this! He's one actor who I love no matter what he does but I don't go out of my way to see him so it's always pleasantly surprising when I see him pop up in stuff that I'm watching. I really love how much his cringed at his past self and his past blogs that he used to write and upload. Also I love how at the beginning his suspiciously says 'my job? .... I'm a... I'm a salaryman.' but then towards the end he completely loses it and yells 'I LIED!!! I'm a salaryman!!! I don't want to be normal!!!! I tried being an actor.. I tried being a youtuber... I tried having part time jobs!' and he just blows and it's so funny!
Tumblr media
When I first saw Masaki Kaoru, I wasn't keen just purely from me being vain and basing people on their looks. I'd never seen him before so I should've been a bit more open. But I quickly opened up to him and I really enjoyed how ridiculous his character was. Every time he came on stage to narate the next day or the next part of the story, he would always introduce himself as someone else, like 'Good morning, I'm Bob Dylan! That's a lie. I'm Naoki!' and then would proceed along with the story. He ended up being really cute and his character was really nice. I'm glad his character development ended up being good and him learning to appreciate his friends, but also his reaction to his future self was hilarious (more on that later). He's an Amuse kid and he was in ODAC's HOME when I watched it last week (I still haven't released that review have I?! Jesus just how far behind am I... damn K-TV taking up all my time).  One scene in this I really liked was when Higuchi brought some snacks and games for them to bond over and they break the sweets pack out and over into the audience, so the first 6 rows or such had a chance of getting sweets from them! And once they were thrown Masaki was sweet enough to be like ‘there’s still a packet on the floor over there’ and such.
Tumblr media
Masshu's character was so adorable. I was surprised that him and Higuchi were playing the same character but it makes sense. They're both super funny and entertaining. I love how ridiculous this character was! Especially with Masshu randomly throwing out random English like 'let's find our.... blue spring ('seishun' instead of 'youth')' and he would be like '...why?! ... why??' in English instead. It cracked me up a lot. But I did get worried because in this story past self, Higuchi, spends a lot in the hospital and can't join in on activities because of doctor's orders so I was super worried that we were going to get a 'I wanted us 5 to do this trip because I'm dying'' kind of plot line -- but thank god, turns out his future self is doing well.
Tumblr media
As for Higuchi, lets be real, he was just playing himself. There was a scene where Taiga goes mental because he got his game system taken away from him so he goes on a mental pillow hitting streak on the members and Higuchi was just in the corner dying of laughter to himself along with the entirity of the audience. His character was annoying and in your face but in a good way; he just wanted to be friends with everyone! And because he was clearly a weak or sick child he wanted to make lots of friends and be normal and make meaningful memories - he reminded me very much of Kamen Rider Fourzes' Gen and his mission to make 100 friends!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Moving onto the Jounin/Takenaka pair. I personally, if you know me and remember, I don't particularly like Jounin as an actor; whenever I've seen him, I've always felt annoyed or underwhelmed by his character/acting. But in this one, I felt he did just fine. He was alright and did just a fine job. But he didn't exactly stand out either. Takenaka on the other hand; I focused on him more than I did Jounin; and I really liked his introduction where we're immediately told that he was once the main lead in Meitantei Jun and everyone around him wants handshakes and such and he's just like 'I'm used to it. You can ask, don't worry about it,' and we also see glimpses of teachers coming to him and saying, 'your mother called, won't you answer?' and he always replies 'tell her I'm busy' because (as he explains) she's only calling because she wants him to take more auditions because he just keeps failing them all. Jounin remembers his past self and gets annoyed because by now his mother has already past away (5 years ago) and when he finally go the courage to tell her that he didn't want to act anymore and to finally tell her he found a normal job etc. she was so happy to hear and congratulated him. But she soon passed after that. So when these two finally meet, of course Jounin is like 'you should answer your mother's calls. You should just tell her how you feel' etc. But more on that later.
4th in line is Matsumura and Taiga. They are the polar opposites; Taiga is obsessed with playing games and finds so much positivity and joy in life even from the smallest of things; while Matsumura, even though he got his dream of being the CEO of a gaming company, he finds it boring, nothing is interesting in his life. Seeing this polar opposite was very interesting. I really enjoyed Taiga's character and I love how mental he went when he didn't have a game to play in his hands xD I also love that he just enjoys whatever! I didn't realise, until the high touch event, who Matsumura was and then I saw him and I was like 'damn your Makoto from EnStage!'. He looks MUCH better in this stage than he does in EnStage.
Finally we have Kimura and Akisawa. These two were very similar in their present and past selves. It was very hilarious to see them two because they didn't change much. Both of them were scared of ghosts and both were loud and pretending they weren't scared of ghosts. They had... a lot of passion < is the best way to put it xD they created a lot of the comedy when it was just the five boys on stage together. This character is constantly moving and it's in a very yankee way and he's also always twisting and being super fast moving etc. it was very comedic and fun to watch! OH and another ridiculous thing about him; Akisawa has kids and they're called Donald, Minnie and Mickey, which is already ridiculous enough, but then it's later revealed that they're all boys!
Tumblr media
Towards the end, the present selves manage to contact their past selves so they end up having one on one battles with each other which is just absolutely hilarious. So we had Harashima and Masaki going head to head against each other and Harashima is like 'you're my black past!!! Why didn't you enjoy it?! Why did you have to be so crazy?!' and Masaki is like 'you're a salaryman?!?! You're my black future!! Why did I become like this?!?!'
We had Masshu and Higuchi getting along very well and just talking about how's life and Masshu explains 'you get really sick for about 4 years, but don't worry, I'm all good now'.
Jounin keeps asking Takenaka about their mum and why he won't answer her calls while he's on this summer trip and tells her that he should be honest about his feelings of not wanting to be an actor anymore and that he should talk to his mother more. Also he asks him if ghosts are real and Takenaka is like 'they're not' and Jounin admits he believes in them.
Then we had Matsumura and Taiga; Taiga is so happy and fascinated that he became the CEO of a gaming company and asks Matsumura to play a game with him. But Taiga keeps losing but because Taiga is so happy about playing games and Matsumura can see the happy life his old self is leading that he says Taiga is the real winner and he now wants to find fun in his life again.
Finally we have Kimura and Akisawa who are just being absolutely ridiculous and going all headbutty and fighting on top of each other a lot and Kimura is annoyed that Akisawa is considering divorcing his wife and Kimura is like 'I thought I was cooler than this!!! I'm supposed to love my one and only girl for the rest of my life like a cool guy!!! If I find a woman I love then she surely deserves it all!' and finally Akisawa is like 'damn past me is so damn cool! What was I thinking divorcing her!'
Another scene I really loved with our main five boys is in a past scene; where they five boys and their teacher Tani-sensei and the Kendo sensei are all together and Higuchi randomly asks 'who here are virgins? Come on, admit it' and at first only Tani-sensei raises his hand, so naturally the audience start laughing, and then all the boys except Higuchi raise their hands and finally, he's turned away from the boys so they can't see but the Kendo sensei raises his hand a little too, and the entire audience EXPLODED in laughter. So naturally all the boys are like 'come on (Higuchi), raise your hand too! You're a virgin too!.... right? ... you're a virgin, right? ... wait what?! WHEN?! TELL US EVERYTHING!'
Tumblr media
Now I'll get down to the more minor characters, starting with Iwa Yoshito! His character stood out because everytime he was on stage and with the rest of the class, for some reason they really wanted to just strip him off all his clothing and while they didn't show it the first few times, there's one part where the 5 MCs are in the foreground and you can see some of the students using their shirts to block the view and when they stop doing that, Iwa is just stood completely shirtless. And then towards the end of the show he just takes his shirt off himself and everyone's like 'why did you do that?' and he's like 'I give up!' and walks off xD
Takasaki Shungo’s character was very interesting. He was the ONE guy in their school year and in the summer school who was in touch with girls and the first scene with him, we see him on the phone to a bunch of girls and making dates to go to the summer festival with them. Naturally, all the other boys are super jealous! He is also the one who really gets into Kendo sensei’s ‘Special Class’ and he starts practising at night when everyone else is asleep and he wants to learn more so he starts trailing the sensei at night (which is hilarious). And then when they do the cultural event slash festival at the end, he’s the one who’s able to invite the all-girl schools to go and watch (we, the audience, as treated as those students at the end) them perform.
Tumblr media
Hiroki's character was so funny! He was adorable too with these two cute pink pins in his hair. His part was smaller than I would've wanted but you can't win them all can you xD he had a main part of this story which was tormenting the PE(?) teacher and constantly making banana jokes around him. He asks the teacher where his banana is and the teacher is like '???' and Hiroki replies 'well you look like a monkey'. Then in a later scene, the teacher has a yellow towel around his neck and Hiroki goes 'why do you have a banana around your neck?' and every time this joke happens the teacher tries to attack him and yells 'It's not a banana!'. But in the very final scene for him, he's actually holding a banana and Hiroki approaches him and just says 'thank you for teaching me so much teacher!' and of course the teacher gets pissed because that's not what he was expecting and is like 'OI! I have a banana! Are you not going to say it?!' and Hiroki is like 'nah I gave up on that joke' and Hiroki runs because the teacher tries to attack him again xD it was really funny and really hilarious. Especially considering how many monkey jokes get thrown at Hiroki himself from his coworkers and friends xD
Now onto the teachers - who are BAT SHIT CRAZY!
Tumblr media
Murakami Kouhei plays the headteacher (or at least is the more senior within this group) and he's perculiar in that he quotes many different and famous people through the entirity of the play and acts very stoic. But then when they do the festival at the end, he goes a little loopy because he gets to play one of the final bosses and has two swords to fight the boys with (as expected of a Kamen Rider actor!).
Nishioka Daisuke is just the most perverted teacher ever! He's Murakami's right hand man and of course obeys and respects everything about Murakami but he's also like 'oi, you should introduce me to the students at the All Girls tachibana school' and things like that. He's just a pervert xD
Mende Tomoyuki plays the 'robot' teacher. Everyone thinks he's a robot because his movements and his talking is so monotone and so rigid but of course he isn't. He's a very strict teacher and doesn't show much emotion.
I am pretty sure it's Kitadai Takashi who plays the aggressive and abusive PE teacher. Whenever he tries to attack and hurt the students, Murakami is always by the side and he looks over to him and stops attacking the students xD
Tumblr media
Kanesaki Kentaro ends up playing the Kendo sensei who everyone in the audience absolutely fell in love with, He is absolutely hilarious! At first we see him teaching the 'Special Class' and we just think he's normal but then in a later scene we seen him on a scooter with a helmet and just skating across the stage all silently which was just bizarre. And then in a later scene he's off scootering and a student tries to talk to him but he continues skating like he never saw him xD and finally towards the end when he joins up with the MCs, he just gets ridiculously funny; the virgin scene and then him getting happy about girl schools coming to the festival and he's all trigger happy when he has a wooden sword in his hand. He totally became the audience's favourite by the end of the show! He was such a barrel of laughs. Seriously, my notes of him were just 'The kendo sensei being crazy as fuck'.
Tumblr media
Totani Kimito plays the new homeroom teacher 'Tani' (which is a pun becaue in Japanese homeroom teacher means Tanin and he's like 'I"m the tanin, Tani. No that's not my name on purpose' xD I really liked him. He was very sweet and very easily lovable. But I was suspicious of him because he bumps into the boys in the future just after they talk about 'are ghosts real?' so for the majority of the play, I assumed present Tani was actually a ghost reciding in that place, but I was wrong. There was no catch. He was just there with another year of school summer activity students.
One thing I am thankful about is the fact that there was surprisingly nothing sad in this play, thank god! I was waiting for it. Especially when we had Higuchi being sent to hospital and we learn that Jounin's mother passed away. But there was no big sad moment and no tears so (thank god) it was a completely comedic and positive play which -- guys -- it's been a while.
Unfortunately none of the other boys particularly stood out but after googling them, I recognise a lot or can say I've seen and/or know about some of the stuff they've done.
AFTER EVENT!
As in per usual style of mine, I had no idea there was an aftershow event until I was at the damn show! It was a high-touch/high-five event with all the main characters/actors! So I got to high-five:
Harashima Motohisa Ishiwatari Masshu Akisawa Kentaro Jounin Tatsuki Matsumura Taiichiro Masaki Kaoru Higuchi Yuta Kimura Atsushi Takenaka Ryouhei Fukazawa Taiga
And it went in order of Matsumura-Taiga-Akisawa-Kimura-Takenaka-Jounin-Masshu-Higuchi-Harashima-Masaki along the line. I am so super happy that I got to get high-touches with Taiga (I remember he had such a great smile on his face), Masshu (my friend is his fan so he's used to seeing white foreigners in front of his face now xD), Higuchi (I was super nervous high-touching him... I honestly think this is the FIRST stage I've ever seen him live in the flesh too! DAMN), Kimura (he was cute, obviously! I've always wanted to see him on stage but our schedules and stages just don't tend to match xD) and Harashima (I was super nervous high-touching him too!). Also the line slowed down about Higuchi/Masshu/Jounin around so that didn't help my nerves with Higuchi! Haha MAsaki always greeted me with this huge smile right at the end of the line which was adorable! But of course I was sad that Hiroki was NOT in the line xD

GOODS
I was so thankful that Hiroki only has one bromide set this time. BUT I did feel a little upset he didn't have at least two sets xD I think this is the cheapest he's ever cost me!

For Fukazawa, Oda, Chuuya, and Dazai could you give headcanons for them having an a/o who is a ding dong when it comes to romance. Like they are great friends and companions but let's be real a turtle has more experience then they do.
I’m not 100% clear on if you wanted an established relationship or getting together so I did a bit of both, hope that’s okay💙
Fukuzawa Yukichi
Fukuzawa’s had years to master his romancing game and it definitely shows (he’s called the Silver Fox for a reason). Even when you don’t realize he’s flirting, or you have no idea how to respond when he lays on the charm, he takes it in stride. Often, he rolls from one smooth, flirtatious line into the next; he watches you closely so he can tell when he hits that sweet spot and it finally clicks in your mind what he’s up to. As soon as you realize what’s up, he keeps flirting for a few minutes longer before backing off; after all, he’s not some desperate boy forcibly hack’n’slashing his way into a relationship. Fukuzawa knows if he leaves some space, whatever minuscule romantic talent you’ve got hidden away might kick up and urge you to flirt back. If not, well, he’ll just keep slowly but surely working his way into your heart.
Fukuzawa finds your cluelessness adorable; often, he’ll subtly flirt with you just to create the blank look that flashes through your eyes when he implies how much he loves you. He won’t leave you out of the loop for long, though, don’t worry; after you blink at him, confused, he smiles lightly and presses a tiny kiss to your forehead. “I’m sorry,” he apologizes, pulling you into his arms, “I shouldn’t tease you. You’re just so cute when these things fly over your head.” If you want, he walks you through his flirtations; if not, he settles for another kiss (this time on your lips) and lets it go.
As much as he’s tempted to, Fukuzawa never flirts with you in front of the ADA. Light, affectionate lines might go completely over your head and he doesn’t want you to be embarrassed, flirtation that’s more obvious isn’t exactly the most professional thing to be indulging in right in front of his employees. If he accidentally lets something slip, though, Naomi has a field day; often she coyly teases you two about it until you’re nearly dying from embarrassment.
Oda Sakunosuke
If you don’t know how to react to the latest slick line Odasaku springs on you, that’s fine. He knows you inside and out; the blush crawling across your cheeks as you process his words is more than enough to let him know that you’re perfectly aware what he means. Flirting back isn’t an issue at all; Oda’s got it all under control. As you stutter for a response, he’s already on the next step; before you can think about it too hard he swoops in for a kiss, fingers gripping your chin and tugging you in for his tongue to swipe across your lips.
Like any good author, Oda falls back on the ‘show, don’t tell’ rule; since flirting with his words just doesn’t stick with you, most of his flirting’s physical. Instead of charming you with compliments, he shows you how he feels with kisses lining your neck and his hands roaming across your hips; there’s no way to misinterpret that, after all. Plus, it’s much more fun. If you’re not in the mood to get frisky, though, not to worry; he flirts with gifts. Taking you for a bowl of curry when he’s done with work for the day or slipping a new book on your nightstand is his foolproof way to show he loves you without forcing you to struggle through the nuances of flirtation.
Oda’s not about to tease you for your romantic shortfalls; the kids show no such mercy, though. Whenever you stop in for a visit they’re immediately all over you, eyes glinting. Until Odasaku rescues you you’re stuck in their clutches, sitting through hundreds of horrendous pickup lines (thank god they’re all appropriate or Oda would probably never let you come back as punishment). After every one they’re immediately asking if you understood what it meant, poking you until you answer. In their opinion, they’re ‘teaching’ you; is there anything wrong with that? These lessons in romance continue until Odasaku swoops in to save you. He sweeps you up in a hug, planting a kiss on your lips. “They only work when I tell them,” he informs, fighting a smirk as all of them except Sakura gag in disgust.
Nakahara Chuuya
Poor Chuuya has a hell of a time trying to seduce you. When it comes to romance, he’s a champion; the problem is that he’s just too subtle. Getting the message across that yes, I am flirting with you right now without totally ruining the mood by outright stating that he likes your face is one of the hardest challenges he’s ever struggled with. Eventually, he finds a balance between subtle flirting and straight-up, no-frills admitting he’s crazy about you, but until then every interaction with you ends up feeling like a bumbling disaster.
Chuuya’s go-to when he wants to shower you in a bit of romance is love letters. Misinterpreting the words spreading across the page is much harder than reading the mood wrong, especially since his writing is so forward. Sentences like “Your eyes hold all the stars in the galaxy” and “I adore every last little part of you, inside and out” get the romantic message across fantastically. Plus, you don’t have to scratch your head trying to puzzle out how you’re supposed to respond. And, if all else fails, at least the little hearts scribbled across the bottom of the page show his feelings.
He likes to leave these sweet messages on his pillow when he has to leave for work at ass o’clock; hopefully, that sweetens the fact that you have to wake up alone. When he has to leave Yokohama on business, and one note in bed simply won’t ease the loneliness, he writes every day (when he has time) and makes sure to include plenty of tiny hearts next to his signature.
Chuuya completely accepts the fact that you never know how to flirt back when he’s laying the charm on thick; that doesn’t mean he’s not going to try to train you, though. He’s determined he can teach you how to romance right, even though the route might be chock full of a lot of awkward moments. Wherever he can, Chuuya slips in a bit of romance; he’s constantly treating you to candlelit dinners, sensual massages, sweet text messages during his lunch break. He’s crossing his fingers that some of it will rub off on you.
Dazai Osamu
When Dazai sets off to romance you he immediately launches into a simple, tried-and-true plot that’s guaranteed to win your affection  He spends nearly every waking moment constructing elaborate schemes that will throw you together; he ends up buying his morning coffee (and paying for yours) at your favorite coffee shop, often drops off flowers for you on his lunch break, even randomly shows up when you don’t have plans and offers to show you a good time. You don’t recognize romance? Not a problem—he’ll just shower you in so many over-the-top sweet gestures you simply can’t be blind to his intentions.
Naturally, Dazai thrives on teasing you, and the fact that you’re nearly blind to flirting is something he loves to latch on to. Of course he won’t mercilessly poke at you if you’re insecure about your romantic blindness, but if you can handle it, he often pokes at you. Some of his favorite methods:
No matter how obvious it is, Dazai usually finishes any romantic advance by winking slowly and mouthing “That was flirting”. If you ever confront him about it he just shrugs innocently and claims “I’m just trying to help, darling!”
If you want to improve your romance skills, Dazai’s got the perfect solution: wikiHow articles. He spends hours scanning through countless pages of horrible advice (usually when he’s at work), finding the ‘best’ tips and tricks for you. Naturally, since it’s Dazai filtering through the guides, everything sent to you is absolutely off-the-wall. If he notices you using any of the terrible pointers he found, though, he’s ecstatic; Dazai plants a kiss on your mouth for every horrible instruction you follow (right after he stifles his laughter).
Dazai often brings home every shitty rom-com he can think of (don’t ask where he gets them from). When you’re not around and he’s bored he breaks one out and notes all the ridiculous antics that are supposed to make the main two fall head-over-heels in love. Dazai springs these tricks on you when you’re least expecting. For every supposedly romantic move that falls flat on its face and leaves you hopelessly confused, Dazai lends one of the movies to Kunikida for ‘romantic advice.’

NON-SPOILER REVIEW Overall: This was so much fun! I thoroughly enjoyed it! It reminded me a lot of Tenimyu where everything but the main topic (e.g. tennis, or in this case.... going to the west? Becoming gods? Becoming priests?) happens. There's so many ridiculous and funny moments in this hat's just so unrelated to the main plot. It was very funny, there were quite a bit of adlib or higawari (daily changes) as far as I could tell and it was a hella lot of fun! It really made me want to pick up the manga once I finished watching this! Rating: 8/10

SPOILER REVIEW
For once I just enjoyed the play rather than making lots of mental and critical notes through out it, so my review may be shorter than normal.
PLOT We follow Ukoku and Koumyou as they reminisce about their training days, they also somehow manage to go back into the past and be part of it so sometimes they have to run away and hide from their younger selves. Also, I'm not a Saiyuuki fan so I could be fuzzy here, the main plot between the two of them is that Koumyou is attempting to kill Ukoku so he can get the ultimate blessing or something (y'know that mark on Ukoku's head).
This is the summary of the story for the Wikia: At a training temple buried deep in the snowy mountains, eleven apprentice monks battle each other in order to become the next highest ranking monk, a Sanzo Priest. ---Among them, there was one genius.
THE STAGE
There was so much charm in this stage! So many parts of this was just so charming and so much fun!
☆ The opening scene is really good because it's where Ukoku and Koumyou are talking seriously with Jikaku about their mission and what must be done, but Jikaku is just ripping into Koumyou like there's no tomorrow. He was very funny!! There was one point where Jikaku asks 'and how old are you?' and Koumyou replies 'I'm 16/18' and the entire audience died in laughter. It continued for a good enough time. Then Jikaku kept getting Koumyou's name wrong too.
☆ Then there's the opening song where they wear cat masks and I really enjoyed that visual of them! I really should read the manga so I can understand what it all means.
Tumblr media
☆ And so we follow them through the training and they have two trainings; the first one which is the day before their final test or at least one of their big training tests.
☆ We’re introduced to young boys who are in the middle of training and they have to fight while staying out of the water, or else you’ll be out. I really liked the projection mapping when they 'fell' to the lower part of the stage and the mapping showed the water splashes on the wall behind them. It was neat!
So the night before their big test, they get into a crap ton of ridiculous stuff. So let's break that down!
☆ First we have bath time! And the public bath owner won't let Houmei, Genkai and Toudai take a bath because Jyuuan is in there and he's clearly more important than them three xD When Jyuuan comes out, he has a slow dance and song about his bath time and how gorgeous his hair is but obviously Houmei just doesn't care and sneaks into the bath while Jyuuan is prancing about xD Then Jyuuan realises there's a knot in his hair and he has a hissy fit and runs off trying to fix it xD
Tumblr media
☆ Also during the shower scene, I remember someone (I want to say Jyuuan but I don't think it was) falling on top of Houmei and it was the very comedic moment of a split second of silence before he gave the biggest high-pitched screen ever; it was absolutely hilarious.
☆ The next ridiculous thing to happen is about Shou-un; he acts all tough and like he hates everyone but then Ryuuzen comes on stage with a mic and is like 'he acts all tought but in fact......... he's really a nice person!' and then there's a song of how cute and nice Shou-un really is and this makes Shou-un really angry and embarrassed and he's like 'I'm not nice!! I'm a tough guy! I'm mean!!!' and then mid-way through the song, three of the cast come down (one of them being Gichou who's pretending to be a marathon runner, and the other two being supporters) from the back of the theatre room and down the stairs, pretending they're in a marathon and Gichou collapses in the mid-section of the audience seating area and he's like 'I can't go on anymore' but the audience start clapping and cheering for him to continue you, Ryuuzen is like an MC /Commentator at this point for the song and audience and this ridiculous skit. So Gichou finds the strength to get back up and makes his way to the main stage where he collapses again and the commentator is like 'can you continue on? For you family?! Your wife?! Your daughter?!' but he's down on the floor. So here, Shou-un breaks and gets down on the floor next to Gichou and starts supporting him and telling him to go on and Ryuuzen is like 'see he's nice!' and so Gichou finishes his marathon and the song about Shou-un being nice continues and finishes. I was dying of laughter this entire time. The ending of this scene was the best because Ryuuzen is like 'god guys, why you so loud! Some of us are trying to sleep!' and storms off and Houmei, Genkai and Toudai are just stood there in shock like '...but you were the one making all the noise!' xD it was very perfect timing and very funny and I enjoyed this so much!
☆ Then we had Ukoku and Koumyou randomly cross-dressing and working at a hostess club -- the audience went absolutely mental when they saw Koumyou/Mikami Shun in his dress becuase he damn he looks so gorgeous and so beautiful in it! And everyone died of laughter when Ukoku/Karahashi Mitsuru came out because he still had his stumble and he was bow-legged and he kept his deep voice and instead of tending to the customers, he was busy pouring him and drinking his own drinks xD And then it got even more hilarious by the amount of times he said 'omoshiroi na / isn't this interesting (in a very masculine way)' and the customers were so baffled by him but Koumyou was trying really hard to keep their cover safe while Ukoku just didn't give a shit xD and then it got even more ridiculous when Ukoku lifted his dress all the way up so we could see his skinny, hair legs and his black boxers -- and he did it twice and we were just dying of laughter and poor Koumyou was like 'get out! let's get out now!'  xD what the point was of this scene, I have no fucking idea xD I think it was just the boys imagining what it's like in a hostess club? But I swear to god that one of the 'girls' was YuuKun.... but if it's not, I need to find out who the fuck it was because DAMN they were damn pretty and had the nicest legs and arms!!
☆ And then we get to the boys' sleeping quarters where they're all clearly wide awake and none of them can or want to sleep so they start doing stupid things like throwing pillows at each other; especially between Shou-un and Jyuuan xD they also ended up singing, obviously.
☆ We get some slower moments around this point; we get a partially solo song from Genkai because he has special powers which allow him to see the future and he remembers how his parents died (they were slaughtered and killed which is sad) and then during this song we also have some of the other boys like Jyuuan singing the troubles they've been through. Also Genkai is bullied somewhat during his training his because he's not human like the rest of them.
So finally we get to the day of the test:
☆ Which started off very nicely because all the boys stripped off the top half of their costumes so we could see ALL their torso and arm muscles and of course they all looked great! But of course I was gooooooogly too much at YuuKun - in fact I didn't really watch anyone else when he was on stage because I AM BIAS!
☆ I really liked how in the fight scene, they soon learnt that fighting together makes them stronger and it was great seeing them go off into pairs.
☆ During this test scene, we cut back to Ukoku and Koumyou, and Ukoku finally tries and attempts to attack Koumyou and it was very beautifully done but of course Ukoku admits that's it's impossible because of how strong and talented Koumyou is in comparison.
☆ We get to the climax of the stage which is a GIANT SNOWMAN! Their final enemy! And Houmei quickly realises that they should ALL join together in order to defeat it, so they all join hands and combine their power to defeat it! I really loved this scene because many parts of the stage at this point 'collapsed' and 'fell down' so everything looked very messes and it fitted the whole 'there's avalanches everywhere because the snowman is raging and breaking everything'.
☆ BUT one thing in this scene confused me, probably just because I haven't read the manga but; when they joined forces, Genkai didn't join in. In fact, he just hopped onto Toudai's back and Toudai carried him for the entirety of that final battle scene; so is it that he doesn't have any powers similar to them and that's why he couldn't join in, but he's obviously an important nakama (comrade xD) so they wanted to protect him.
Tumblr media
☆ I like how for their final attack, they are at the top most set of the stage. way way at the back and behind a railing, and they're all in a line and it was a great way to finish it. But the boys had such a short time to get from the bottom stage, up to the top stage so you could tell they're ran up and some of them were hard breathing -- most likely partially acting but I bet some of it was true haha
*
I did have one slightly negative thing to say but it doesn't seem that worthwhile to say.... but in case you wanted to know; I was a tad underwhelmed by Taiga in this. I don't think he was all that able to show off much n this one but that could just be his character? Because he’s great in EnStage, he’s great in YowaMushi, I’ve heard he’s great in Daiya no A, he was great in Danshi ha Tsurakunai yo? so maybe it was just this one. I think his character just wasn’t developed enough for this stage. I wanted to know more - about all of them actually.
