Things to consider about Trevor and his character:
Everything is draining me but I got some energy for some “consider” factors :)
-We all know Trevor is maths smart and very intelligent. He is no idiot. He has some serious gut intuition and, despite being so undermined, his intelligence is extremely high through knowledge and street-smarts. However, I’ve noticed low literacy development from his text messages and subtle handwritten notes around his safe houses and liquor store. Although he speaks in metaphors and riddles, I can only imagine he may suffer from slight dyslexia. Whether or not that’s him being lazy (most likely), but it would make sense considering his broken education and temperaments. It’s something to consider and suits his character!
-Also consider the fact that maybe, due to his drug and substance use, his height shortened from over the years. He may be 6’1 now but before he fell into the addiction loop, he could have been possibly taller. Like 6’2, maybe a bit taller? Shit like that happens when you grow older with such addictions.
-Trevor mentioned to Michael before that he’s “in the best shape” of his life. This makes me all giggly because — as a North Yankton slut — this basically implies that he was a bigger boy before Los Santos. Man had some fat on him, and his ID from 2004 (cos of his old picture) says his weight initially was 206. A BIG boy. Need to serve him on a golden platter.
-The biggest question in my mind: who introduced him to helicopters and planes. Trevor joined the military with talent of flying. He had his cargo-plane side-job before meeting Mikey in the Midwest, where they met. This brings to think about how exactly he managed to get hands on a plane in the first place…
-Think about his life-style, and think about how flexible his sexuality would’ve been before the professional criminality happened — or just after it started. His ability without the drugs washing the chances of impregnating. His likeness of sex and intimacy. Expect him to have unknown children roaming the states with his genes and DNA.
-He mentioned doing only “petty” crimes before Michael, meaning that he probably hadn’t of killed a human person. (Unless I’m wrong). Petty crimes, for those who don’t know, includes offences like shoplifting, disorderly conduct, common assaults (usually drunk). Real petty crimes without purpose or intent. This meant that Trevor was weirdly innocent, if we are comparing him to present Trevor. With his anger issues as well. Without Michael, he would’ve had a relatively different life with a CHANCE to reparate himself and become something more.
-Following this, consider that it’s not all Michael’s fault that his criminality and incline in mental health was partially responsible for his discharge of the airforce. We all know how Trevor felt about it, I shouldn’t have to explain how distraught he was about it.
-Also consider Trevor and Michael fucking :)

How do you feel about revolutionary era cyclops? Both in premise and execution?
A fascinating premise fatally undermined in execution by contradictory editorial and writing choices.
Tumblr media
To start with, Revolutionary Cyclops was a completely logical extension of where Cyclops’ character arc had been going ever since Utopia and AvX and the Phoenix Five. All his life, Scott Summers had been Charles Xavier’s perfect soldier - not his favorite student or his most trusted student, by the one that Xavier could count on to put the mission above himself no matter the cost. And for many decades, that’s who Cyclops was, to the point where it destroyed his first marriage and caused his second to founder under the weight of his repression and trauma. But after the Decimation, Scott had to move past that, to take up the mantle of independent leadership for mutantkind - something he pursued with unflinching pragmatism and ruthlessness, before it culminated in the ultimate Oedipal rebellion. So having completely severed himself from the legacy of Charles Xavier and his dream, Cyclops had to find a new purpose, a new direction for his life, and he found it in revolutionary politics. I think that’s a quite compelling arc.
Where I think the execution got messed up was that editorial clearly wanted to portray him as being in the wrong, another well-intentioned extremist in the vein of Magneto (who not coincidentally was increasingly loyal to and admiring of Cyclops as time went on), but Brian Michael Bendis never quite agreed. We would keep reading stuff about how Scott was going too far, that his ends couldn’t justify his means, and so on - but when it came to actually showing on the page what he was doing, it wasn’t anything more extreme than the X-Men had done in their “outlaw” era, and arguably much less morally questionable than the stuff he did when he was running Utopia and was coded more consistently as heroic. (This reached its peak of ridiculousness in the post-Bendis era with Death of X and IvX, where turned out that the thing that had convinced the world Cyclops was “worse than Hitler” was to make a big psychic projection of his head and destroy one of the Terrigen Mist clouds that were threatening to wipe out mutantkind.)

I could no longer be a part of this madness.” — Omarosa Manigault Newman, a top aide in charge of Trump's outreach to African Americans
“I thought that he did do a lot of good during his four years. I think that his actions on January 6 and the lead-up to it, the way that he’s acted in the aftermath, and his continuation of pushing this lie that the election is stolen has made him wholly unfit to hold office every again.” — Sarah Matthews, one of Trump's deputy press secretaries, resigned after January 6th, 2021
“I think that Donald Trump is the most grave threat we will face to our democracy in our lifetime, and potentially in American history.” — Cassidy Hutchinson, Trump's final chief of staff’s aide

A UCLA professor was suspended for not providing special treatment to black students in the light of George Floyd's death. The professor is suing the University of California Los Angeles for more than $19 million over the well-publicized incident that garnered national notoriety.
Gordon Klein – a lecturer of accounting at the Anderson School of Management – made headlines in June 2020 when he refused to give preferential treatment to black students.
As Blaze News previously reported, Klein was asked by a student if black students would be given special accommodations because of George Floyd's death and the subsequent Black Lives Matter protests.
"The student requested a no-harm and shortened final exam, and extended deadlines for final assignments and projects in consideration of black students' well-being in light of nationwide protests against police brutality," the Daily Bruin reported.
Klein responded by writing:
Thanks for your suggestion in your email below that I give black students special treatment, given the tragedy in Minnesota. Do you know the names of the classmates that are black? How can I identify them since we've been having online classes only? Are there any students that may be of mixed parentage, such as half black-half Asian? What do you suggest I do with respect to them? A full concession or just half?
Klein asked the student if "a white student" from Minneapolis "might be possibly even more devastated" by the death of George Floyd.
Klein then quoted Martin Luther King Jr., and asked, "Remember that MLK famously said that people should not be evaluated based on the 'color of their skin.' Do you think that your request would run afoul of MLK's admonition?"
A student took a screenshot of the email conversation, and it quickly circulated online.
UCLA students claimed Klein's email was "backhandedly racist" and that it undermined the Black Lives Matter movement.
The same day as Klein wrote the email, a Change.org petition was launched, and it demanded Klein be "terminated for his extremely insensitive, dismissive, and woefully racist response to his students’ request for empathy and compassion during a time of civil unrest."
The petition — with more than 21,000 signatures — read, "His behavior is not reflective of the equity, respect, and justice that UCLA stands for as an institution."
Two days later, Anderson School Dean Antonio Bernardo announced that Klein was suspended and an investigation was initiated into the "troubling conduct."
"Providing a safe, respectful and equitable environment in which students can effectively learn is fundamental to UCLA’s mission," Bernardo declared. "We share common principles across the university of integrity, excellence, accountability, respect, and service. Conduct that demonstrates a disregard for our core principles, including an abuse of power, is not acceptable."
"I deeply regret the increased pain and anger that our community has experienced at this very difficult time," Bernardo added. "We must and will hold each other to higher standards."
Klein was reinstated less than a month after the incident.
However, Klein alleges that the public backlash had caused irreparable damage.
Klein derives significant income from his expert witness practice.
The College Fix reported, "He has testified, for example, in several high-profile court cases, including Michael Jackson’s wrongful death, Apple’s acquisition of Dr. Dre’s Beats headphones, and the valuation of General Motors’ assets in bankruptcy."
Klein’s attorney – Steve Goldberg – told the College Fix this week, "He was one of the top damages experts in the country who was historically bringing in well over $1 million dollars a year and trending upwards when it happened."
"That practice went to ashes right after he was suspended," said Goldberg, a member of the Markun, Zusman & Compton law firm.
Klein, who continues to teach as a full-time lecturer at UCLA, is suing the university for "well over $19 million in damages."
Klein's lawsuit is scheduled to go to trial on March 4 at the Santa Monica Courthouse.
Klein, who joined the UCLA Anderson School of Management in 1981, first filed a lawsuit against the school in September 2021.
UCLA did not respond to repeated requests for comment by The College Fix.

Just curious....what is your favorite book? Fiction and/or non-fiction
Light:
Well, my favourite fictional book probably's got to be Someone Who Will Love You in All Your Damaged Glory, by Raphael Bob-Waksberg. The name may be a mouthful, but I quite enjoy his whimsical collection of short stories. They're imaginative, and provide a much-needed break from the world with their creativity and resonance with many people. Personally, I really enjoy it, and you might wanna check it out someday!
My favourite non-fiction book, on the other hand, has been a book I've read recently: How to Be Perfect, by Michael Schur. It's a beginner's guide to philosophy, in easy-to-understand language, and it's the perfect guide--if I do say so myself--if you're looking to get closer to the subject.
There's another one which I also find rather interesting: Why Politics Fails, by Ben Ansell. The title is pretty self-explanatory, and he talks about five main political 'traps': the democracy trap (no will of the people), the equality trap (equality of rights being undermined by equality of outcomes), the solidarity trap (what we want for ourselves not being what we want for others), the security trap (wanting protection but not at the cost of our freedoms) and lastly, the prosperity trap (what we want now shortchanging the future). I heavily recommend this comprehensive guide to politics if you're interested in that kinda thing!
Sorry this turned out a little long---hopefully the bolding, italicising, and text colour helped with comprehensiveness---but thanks for the ask all the same, Anon. I quite liked answering your refreshing question.
L:
... this might be where i have to admit that i prefer my non-fiction media in video essay form... because the only books i can think of are fiction. and even then, they're more on the shorter or childish side. i guess i'm not that much of a reader, at least in the sense of seeking books out on my own accord.. whoops.
my favorite book might just be If You Give A Mouse A Cookie. yes, i do know it's a child's tale, but it's the only book i can think of that i really enjoyed. i also remember being fond of Margaret Haddix's The Missing series. i only read the first book and never picked it up again, but i did like it when i was younger. so i guess there's that too. hopefully that counts..?
light wins on this ask. like i said, i prefer things in video form. but thank you for the ask anyhow, anon.

currently thinking about how cool the DN series would have been if it was the girls who had wanted revenge.
Like Corrupt starts with Rika. The horsemen get out of prison and she wants revenge for what they "did" that night. Will was asleep, so his revenge would be less severe, but would he have stopped them? Probably not, so he's included by default. When the issue of who was actually involved is cleared up, the ending is more or less the same. While Michael is distracted with Rika, Trevor, and Will, Kai banishes Damon from Thunder Bay. Kai tells Damon if he ever enters the town's limits again, he'll bury him.
In Hideaway, Banks wants revenge on Kai for banishing her brother. Damon's gone quiet on her, and she thinks that Kai made good on his promise to kill him if he ever came back. Meanwhile, Kai wants to know where Damon is because he's taunting Kai with Natalya's death, and Kai thinks Banks is in on it. The basic mystery around The Pope could still happen, just everyone's motives for being there are slightly shifted, and Banks has more of a reason to mistrust Kai.
In Kill Switch, Winter wants revenge because of the way he played her. Prison wasn't enough; she needs him to break. He thinks she's agreed to marry him to save her family, but at the last second she pulls a switcharoo and marries him off to her awful sister. What follows is a battle of wills as they try to undermine each other until the truth comes out.
Nightfall is a little bit harder to pull off, because Emory doesn't have a strong motive for revenge against Will. I don't think she's upset that he nearly killed her brother (probably more upset that he didn't finish the job but that would have been a much more serious charge for Will and Kai). So Emory comes back after the death of her grandmother to take revenge on Martin. He's got a fancy new job, a new wife - a whole new life for her to vigilante her way through, Taylor Swift style. And Will keeps popping up, like "Remember when you told me you didn't love me and I almost believed you, but then I found out you were being abused and you still didn't want my help, and then I went to prison for beating up your abuser, and you still didn't say thank you? Yeah, I have some questions that you're going to answer." And honestly, he's being annoying but if he's gonna insert himself like he always does, he might as well help. Then, while they're systematically destroying Martin's life, they're able to work out who really sent them to prison (because I guess it still matters somehow?) but that's when Will finds out about the letter. Now he's feeling betrayed, and Emory has to decide if she's going to work it out with him, or let him go. They ultimately decide the revenge is best served to Evans.
Admittedly, the girl's seeking revenge plot gets weaker the further along in the series we get. NF suffers the most from a complete overhaul. I'm sure there's a way to keep the Blackchurch plot while also having Emory being the one seeking revenge, I'm just not sure what her motive would be at that point. I've also been into the idea of the girls coming together because they want revenge on the horsemen for various reasons, and the series follows the girls as they go from cohorts to friends to a true sisterhood or something. Too many of the books focus on the men having these unbreakable brotherhoods and their girls just sort of follow along.
Anyway. Could've been fun.

CW: mention of being overwhelmed, swearing
Today was a bit of a rollercoaster
Took my dad to watch Nye at the National Theatre. I bought the tickets back in November and we've been looking forward to it. Dad's an old Labour party member, through-and-through Socialist, with Aneurin Bevan being one of his absolute heroes. He even got to see him speak, in person, when he was just a child.
He's also a fan of Michael Sheen's work like me (well, not quite like me... We just appreciate him in different ways...)
Anyway, long complicated journey to get there because of the trains being messed up. We arrive to find that unfortunately Sheen is unwell and unable to perform. Some friends found out he'd also not been able to perform yesterday or do stage doors for a few nights, apparently.
These things happen, got to let it roll off you like water off something's back, right?
The problem is that I don't do great with change at the best of times so I was terrified I was going to get overwhelmed and ruin the day. Bear in mind that we were actually meant to go in March but had to change the tickets due to a family event being put in place after I had already booked the tickets (that's... that's a whole other complicated thing)
And then my dad, who this entire trip has really been all for, must have seen the look on my face. He softly said, "oh, it's ok. No need to feel despondent! I'm sure it will be lovely anyway." It was just such a sweet thing to hear that I sort of compartmentalised and reminded myself that, whilst seeing Sheen pretend to be a deer on stage would have been a highlight (yes, that happens in the play), this was his day out.
You know what? It was lovely. The understudy, Lee Mengo, was fantastic. The play was beautiful and funny; it reminded me why the NHS is so vital, and how criminal it is that it's been undermined and under-funded for so long.
I asked dad afterwards if he enjoyed it. He thought it was wonderful, timely and made him remember what a titan Bevan had been (as well as what a cunt Churchill was - dad's words but also mine).
I let my friends in discord know and they were incredibly sweet and supportive. One of them has even volunteered to come see it with me next week as they haven't seen the play. Even better: it's going to be a sensory-adapted performance, so I'm intrigued about what that looks like. I also really want to see it again because I'm dying to see Michael Sheen live, and how his performance differs.
Hopefully he's feeling better soon. I'm honestly astounded at the workload actors maintain over several weeks in shows like these so it shouldn't be a massive surprise that people get ill.
Just feeling very grateful for having wonderful family, friends, and a partner who gave me a massive hug when I got home

I would love if you could write a one shot where the squad do a games night but need to swap partners! So Kyle & Alex team up and Michael is pouty and jealous all night!
***
“Michael, stop moping, it’s just a game,” Isobel rolled her eyes, squeezing in next to him on the couch where Alex had just been.
Michael stuck his tongue in his cheek, his smirk too tight and too angry to fool anyone. “I know.”
“Is that why you’re burning holes into my head?” Kyle sighed, making room for Alex on the carpet next to him.
His Alex, who didn’t seem nearly as bothered by this change of events as Michael thought he ought to. His Alex, who was ignoring Michael’s glares in favor of picking up Isobel’s discarded Monopoly cards.
“I just think husbands should play on the same team,” Michael shrugged.
“Well, the dice disagree,” Isobel dismissed, gathering up Alex’s old cards as well.
Michael had known another attempt at a double date would be a bad idea. But Isobel had insisted on boardgames and Alex had insisted on spending a night with his best friend, and only Alex’s warm, dark eyes were enough to get Michael to give in.
How he loathed himself for it now, as his husband laughed at something Kyle whispered to him behind his hand.
Isobel nudged his side and murmured, “Would you chill your thoughts? They’re just friends.”
“Yeah, I know,” Michael said, and sniffed sharply to completely undermine what he’d just said.
“If you say so,” she scoffed.
But half an hour into their game, and despite Michael and Isobel winning, Michael’s thoughts towards the doctor remained hostile. It was the sheer way he and Alex kept giggling to each other, like they thought losing was a nice change of pace and were having fun doing it. Together. That, especially, was the part Michael couldn’t stand.
How much they enjoyed just being in each other’s company, sharing secrets and stories and “remember when—”s that Michael had nothing to do with. The worst was the time that all these stories alluded to. Unable to take it anymore, Michael pushed himself up.
“Where are you going?” Isobel demanded. “We’re crushing them!”
“I need a beer,” he grumbled, and went around them to the open kitchen. He barely opened the fridge when he felt Alex’s arms wrap around his waist.
“I thought we weren’t getting drunk tonight.”
“Do you see Isobel around here?”
Alex kissed the nape of his neck, and the tension in Michael’s shoulders involuntarily loosened. Damn it, he wanted to stay mad.
“Don’t,” he whined, shrugging him off.
                “Don’t what?”
                “Try to calm me down.”
“I like calming you down,” Alex murmured against his shoulder. “Talk to me, hubby.”
Michael raised the bottle to his lips, hesitated, then put it away with a huff and closed the fridge door. “I don’t like how close he gets to you.”
                “Guerin, he’s my best friend.”
“I know,” Michael said with an edge, “and I don’t care, Alex. I don’t like you talking to him, I don’t like you laughing with him, I don’t like you sharing secrets with him that I don’t know about—”
“There’s nothing you don’t know about me,” Alex said calmly, hooking his chin over Michael’s shoulder.
Michael turned in his hold. “You know what I mean.”
He was being unreasonable, he knew he was, and unfair, but Alex didn’t look at him like he agreed. He looked at him with the same fond, loving smile he always did when Michael got all insecure and self-deprecating. Like he was surprised Michael didn’t know how wonderful he was, but was happy to keep reminding him.
So instead of telling Michael how unreasonable they both knew he was being, Alex backed up against the counter, pulling Michael in against him. He patted Michael’s arms, and Michael lifted him up onto the counter by his waist, and stood between his legs.
Alex brushed a stray curl back from his brow and wrapped his arms around Michael’s shoulders. “He’s not the reason we were apart all those years.”
                “Alex—”
                “It wasn’t his fault.”
“I hate the damn reminder,” Michael said through gritted teeth. “I hate remembering that you needed him at all, and I hate remembering why!”
But Alex was already shaking his head. He traced Michael’s lower lip with his thumb. “Baby, do you know that every night Kyle and I met up, you were all I wanted to talk about?”
“Yeah, I know,” Michael said hoarsely. “Worst cowboy ever, I get it.”
Alex held his face with his hands. “I talked about how cute you looked,” he said, smiling. “How good you smelled. Something smart you said that day. How funny you were when you weren’t even trying. How hard I had to fight to keep from reaching out and touching you every single day.”
                Michael swallowed. “Alex . . .”
“I had my bad days,” Alex admitted. “I don’t want to lie to you about that. But if anyone in this town knows how much I love you, it’s Kyle. He was the person I fangirled to,” he chuckled, his cheeks tinted pink. “Not the person I vented to.”
“Which would’ve made my nights a lot more fun,” Kyle admitted, stepping into the kitchen for a soda from the fridge. “I would’ve loved to complain about you, but all he wanted to do was fantasize about your ass.” He opened his can and took a sip, and shook his head. “Always a fun mental image to carry around.”
Kyle knocked his can into Michael’s ear as he passed and Michael angrily swatted at him.
He huffed, looking back to Alex to find him admiring him. He pursed his lips, thinking. “So what kind of things would you fantasize about exactly?”
Alex barked a surprised laugh. “Not now, you freak, we still have game night!”
Michael groaned, hugging Alex’s waist and nuzzling the crook of Alex’s neck. “Can’t I be on your team?”
                “But you’re winning!”
“I don’t care,” he hugged him tighter. “I want to be on your team.”
“He’s mine tonight, cowboy!” Kyle called from the living room, and Alex laughed under his breath.
“I’m going to kill him,” Michael growled, and Alex pecked his lips.
“You can’t,” he said, and used Michael’s shoulders to hop down from the counter. On his way out of the kitchen, he gave Michael a wink over his shoulder. “Who else would I fangirl to about your ass?”

(Characters: William Afton, Michael Afton, Elizabeth Afton)
(Pairing: Michael Afton x William Afton)
(TW: Incest, Underage)
(Word Count: 639)
“Daddy?” Elizabeth put down her dolls as she looked behind, revealing William sitting on their sofa, with Michael sitting right next to him, fumbling with his Foxy mask he was gifted by his father.
“What is it dear?” He tried to sound enthusiastic, but instead sounded tired due to stress eating at him. “Do you ever miss mommy?” Those words innocently left her mouth as William got choked up. “Excuse me?”
He accidentally came across as offended, he always did whenever someone brought his wife up. Michael however was more confused on why she would ever ask the question in the first place, knowing that she didn’t even remember their mother.
William was genuinely speechless, but he knew that he had to answer her before she would get into a tantrum, “Let’s say that I’m happy right now, with my family.” She wasn’t satisfied with that.
“You know thats not what I mean!” She stood up, “Do you miss mommy?” She repeated, a lot louder and angrier than before. Both Michael and William sighed at it. “Its a hard topic to discuss Elizabeth, but I-“ Elizabeth interrupts, following with a question that would leave William and Michael flabbergasted
“Could I be mommy instead?”
Obviously the idea of a kid asking their parent to marry them wasn’t new, they don’t understand the implications or even what it truly means to be in love with anyone yet.
To them its just so they can show their parent that they care about them, not anything romantic or akin to it- But to Michael, who knew that was the case, couldn’t help but to be somewhat mad,
It went further than being mad, he couldn’t help but to glance at William, who was understandably quiet at all of this.
“Elizabeth, you can’t marry father…” He tried to contain his composure, but his facade was quickly cracking. “Why?” Michael predicted that she would repeat that question over and over again, regardless if he gave her an actual answer or not.
“Because, you just can’t, you’ll understand it when you’re older.” He felt like he was his own father there, with how many times he’s heard it, “Oh.” Elizabeth came to a realization of something, whatever is it, Michael knew it wasn’t anything good, but he was hopeful.
“Is it because you want to marry daddy?”
That was the straw that broke the camels back, though the metaphorical camel in this situation was his brain, to put it bluntly
Those words made Michael stop thinking for a bit. He couldn’t answer that question, he could hardly move his body, it sent him straight into a shock.
Though one thing that when he finally could think properly again was how hot the house was, it wasn’t like it a few minutes ago. But he knew that it wasn’t the house, it was a problem that was deeply rooted into him.
Even William noticed his delay in response to Elizabeths question, “Michael.?” He definitely didn’t say his name in any tone, but it sounded rather…
…Seductive.
William also took note of the obvious blush that was forming on his sons face, putting two and two together, well it was clear as could be, Michael had feelings about his father…Well feelings would be undermining it, its more or less, Michael is in love with his father.
To Michael it was disgusting, having any romantic or sexual feelings is repulsive to say the least, of course it is, but he had to bear with those feelings, that was his problem.
It was a good five minutes before any of them had said a word, Elizabeth had gotten bored, so she decided to leave and go back to her room, leaving her father and her brother alone together.
William smiled as he now knew that Michael was finally easy prey.

Veronica mars (series) or the good place (series)?
*Stretches fingers* This anon probably wants to see me get beat up,lol.
Both of them started really strong, but somewhat betrayed their core messages and shat on their own feast.
The winner is Veronica Mars, tho. The feast wasn't wholy ruined,I can salvage by doing my own thing, and there are plenty of people whose homes I can dine at(namely,ao3 and ffn).
Controversial opinions under the cut.
The Good Place started to go downhill on season 3,but the whole "modernity is why everyone goes to the Bad Place" was the cause of death, thinking back. And I have three reasons:
It's anti-historical. Colonization,exploitation and warfare had always existed. Yes,modern Doug got dinged because his cellphone was made on a sweatshop,the roses were planted by exploited workers and the CEO was a creep. However,there was a risk for negative points to ancient Doug as well. He used tools to plant those roses. How were those metals mined? Also,the land. Maybe it was conquered on a brutal war,or anything like that;
It ignores the positives of modernity. I'm not denying the world is still horrible in many ways,but the quality of life of the average human vastly improved throughout history. The medicine,for example. People were being maimed and killed by diseases we have eradicated by now,not to mention how what we know by basic hygiene(washing one's hands,covering own mouth when sneezing) nowadays are literal life savers. Not to mention how the world wide web itself - people can help other people with what's basically pocket money,local tragedies get international support sometimes,groups fighting regional injustices get to influence other people to do the same. Also,all kinds of information,knowing people from all over the world with ease. And that leads to my thrid point. Also,human rights. Things are far from perfect,but pretending we didn't make any advancement is just as counterproductive as pretending everything is perfect;
Despite telling it's pro-human,The Good Place doesn't show it,IMO. They mentioned all the pitfalls of (modern) Earth and decided the sollution was having 4 humans on an aferlife controlled by supernatural beings, and if they earned "paradise" if the got "good enough". The Earth was basically ignored by the narrative when dealing with the whole "everyone goes to the Bad Place". There was little to no appreciation for humanity and it's flawed, messy beauty. Bonus point - it's thesis about death was stupid,IMO. "Life is meaningful because it ends" is an okay message, but having a door one can go whenever they want kinda ruins the point. For humans, life is short(8-12 decades at most) and random(diseases, accidents). Therefore, each moment is precious.
Tahani's and Michael's ending were perfect, tho. They were experimenting new things. Jason should've been chilling and meditating in The Real Good Place for eternity, like a real monk, speaking wisdom to other residents and eventually turned into stardust by spontaneously transcending(maybe his sparkles would influence people on Jacksonville to do good). Eleanor and/or Chidi should've gone to Earth in order to help people out(two writing problems solved). It would respect Eleanor's own words "I know we're doomed, but why not try? Better than not trying!". As for Chidi,he had an innate desire to do good things and (supposedly) learned anything he could've. So why not putting said knowledge to good use in a complicated environment?
Now,onto Veronica Mars. Many people said it better than me,but her character was more or less ruined in Season 4. Basically it was:character regression, glorification of trauma, narratively undermining her relationships... However,Veronica was a glorious character from S1 to Mr. Kiss and Tell. Besides, seeing her finding herself at the movie was amazing. Weevil is also consistently a marvelous character, even being shafted in S4.
Now,onto my massively unpopular opinion: I'm not fond of adult!Logan. He has amazing chemistry with Veronica and is a generally healthier, gentler person but often feels underwritten. And said problem is with him as a Navy officer and a supposed good guy.
My issue it's not that he joined the Navy nor about him benefitting the structure, but how the armed forces are treated not only as perfect but as an automatic sign of a healthy moral compass. It goes against one of the main themes of the franchise. There's police corruption, political corruption, classism, racism, sexism, corporate corruption(Veronica's lawyering job in the firm comes to mind). But somehow, the military is immune to crooked people in power misusing it or being in cahoots with bad people for their own gain. I believe there should be some sort of betrayed idealism from Logan when facing the harsh reality,if he was to be a guy who truly cares about the world and wants to make a positive difference. At the same time,Lt. Echolls could be fighting the good fight from the inside - like someone who knows the ugly truth but keeps being unwaveringly optmistic and truly believes the institution. To top it all, there's no mention of him doing charity or activism(yes, there's the "cycling to save the planet",but I didn't get a hardcore environmental discipline at uni to believe 1(one) guy riding a bicycle is going to do anything about air pollution. Really,Hollywood writers are allergic to Social Studies, lol). It becomes even worse when remebering this is a franchise with delightful good guys like Keith and Wallace 🤡 Thank god for fanfics, tho. They can make Logan an actual hero.
However,Logan's surface-level goodness can be quite interesting if not taken at face value,IMO. He never comments on Neptune's corruption nor makes any complaints about moral complications at his service(someone as outspoken and perceptive as Logan would've noticed and done someting about it - even in the shape of small everyday actions). On the other hand,Logan made a quip about "missing money and power" to Veronica in MKAT. Maybe he wasted it all in his downward spiral- spending on parties/drugs/fair-weather friends, paying off threats(he beat up a guy that belonged to the Russian Mob),probably bailing himself out of jail. And I think that's the one that happened. The Navy gave him structure, discipline and a steady income. So,he didn't give a fuck about actually doing good for anyone outside of his circle. I've seen anayses about how teen!Logan was the femme fatale(no,I won't switch genders) and turned into the solid love interest. To me,the guy manages spectacularly to be both. He's a helpful, caring boyfriend to Carrie and Veronica, but also the perfect Navy Officer. Veronica Mars(and most noir works) questions things that look too flawless and pristine and invites a second look onto it. Therefore,it's logical to imagine Logan being ambitious, ruthless and willing to do anything to get any mission accomplished. Kind of a state-sanctioned mercenary. In fact, that's more or less the angle I'm going for in my fanfic about him(shameless self-promotion).
The winner is Veronica Mars. Besides being more or less consistent with it's themes(they fail, but it's still enjoyable when rewatching scenes, whereas The Good Place is retroactively ruined and only good through gifs and memes). Also, many bad parts of VM can be fixed by making my own headcanons, whereas the bad of The Good Place irrevocably taints the whole thing. To top it all, there aren't many tgp fans unsatisfied with their own show. Glad for them, but many of the fix-it fics in the vm fandom are amazing

Yandere Bridgerton ask. I sincerely believe the Bridgerton spouses at some point get tired of Colin and Francesca dragging their feet in regards to their soulmate that they hatch a plan: make it seem like Penelope and Michael might be courting to make Colin and Francesca jealous. The siblings can't kill their rivals since they are the soulmate of their respective sibling.
I love how you specifically state that it's the Bridgerton spouses concocting this plan. Y'all know me so well.
(Also if anyone wants to know I am currently slowly working on the next installment of Penelope setting up the yandere Bridgertons with their spouses.)
"Are you kidding me?!" Kate exclaimed when Penelope revealed that Colin still hasn't said one thing about marriage. "It's been ten years! You have successfully married off four of his siblings, five if we count Francesca's first husband-"
Penelope waved her hand. "I don't count that one. Michael was being a pain in the ass so I originally set Francesca and John up as a joke. I had no idea John was going to actually propose to someone who was not his soulmate nor did I think Michael would be such a coward and encourage Francesca to accept!"
Michael glared at his friend. "Excuse me for not wanting to get in the way my cousin's love!"
"You literally tore the heart out of every other man who tried to court Francesca!" Penelope shot back. "And you're still a coward! Just put the rest of us out of our misery and marry her already! She killed John years ago!"
Simon, Sophie, and newly acquired Phillip watched as Michael and Penelope continued their argument with Kate throwing in her own 2 cents.
"Are they always liked this?" Phillip asked his calmer in-laws.
Sophie sighed. "Not really. Michael and Penelope are both just irritated that their Bridgertons are taking forever."
"Why is that?" Phillip asked. "Kate mentioned that it's been ten years for Colin and Penelope. Also Francesca is no longer married so there's no reason she and Michael should not be together either."
"We're not completely sure," Simon said with a shrug. "Our best guest is that Colin and Francesca had no real fear of losing their soulmates so things came to a standstill. The Bridgertons isolated Penelope away from any suitors even before she debuted into society and Francesca knows that merry rake Michael would never consider courting."
Phillip thought it over. It made sense. He's heard the stories of how Anthony killed the driver that caused Kate's accident. Of how Benedict sliced out Lady Gunningworth's tongue after her accusation landed Sophie in jail. He also heard how Daphne hunted down one of her husband's past mistresses when said mistress tried to claim her child was the Duke's illegitimate bastard. Phillip himself has never questioned when Eloise "dismissed" Nanny Edwards after they discovered how she hit the twins nor did he comment when he "lost" his book on posiouns plants.
Phillip has also heard the lesser known stories of how Kate tracked down Siena and cut her throat when the singer tried to use her past relationship to the Viscount to undermine his marriage. Of how Sophie found out an artist used her husband's likeness for a painting that would have ruined him at the time, broke said artist's hand as a warning and burned the painting. Of how Simon beaten a man to disfigurement when he made some unsavory jokes about the Duchess of Hastings. And of course who could forget Penelope's column sheet she partly used to weave information into the right hands.
All these stories and Bridgertons C and F barely star in any of them. But with easy access to their soulmates and nothing to deny their claim it would be pretty easy to fall into some sort of rut.
An idea then came to Phillip. He turned towards the still arguing pair. "You two should court."
Michael and Penelope turned towards their newest member, both of them raising an eyebrow. Sophie and Simon also looked confused. Kate was the one to break the silence. "Phillip what the hell? We're trying to get Colin and Francesca to make a move, not risk a family civil war."
Phillip shook his head. "Not actually court, just pretend. Colin and Francesca never felt threatened about losing either of you, so make them feel that. It's not like they can get rid of either of you since both of you are Bridgerton soulmates."
Michael and Penelope looked at each other, thinking the suggestion over. The other seemed to be thinking it over as well.
"It could work," Michael eventually says.
"I could start a rumor in Whistledown, see where that leads us," Penelope suggested.
"We can keep ears out for information," Simon said. "Colin and Daphne confide a lot."
"Anthony is always in his siblings' business too," Kate added.
Sophie shrugged. "It couldn't hurt to try."
Dear gentle reader,
It has come to this author's attention that the Earl of Killmartin may have started courtship with the ton's resident wallflower, a one Miss Penelope Featherington . . .
Chaos broke out at Number 5.

HE’S AN ANIMAL
Summary: Trevor has conflicted thoughts about Michael’s view on him. There was only one way of expressing himself.
TW: Smut
Pairings: Michael De Santa/Trevor Philips
Word count: 1000
Tumblr media
People always undermined his ability to discipline himself. His rushes of psychotic anger, the misuse of substances, the blood on his hands, the grub on his skin, the utter insanity behind those lonely, brown eyes. Being referred to as “him” like his name would curse a spell on every living thing…
Degrading!
Trevor knows himself and he knows how to calm the storm. Well, attempts to. His moral compass had been dismantled a long, long time ago, so when he hoisted up to beat the accusations, he meant the literal term of discipline. Because no way would he say goodbye to the criminal life-style. But he can change one thing that could help… Centre him, emotionally.
After another uncomfortable interaction with Michael and his buddies, the Government prudes, Trevor hid within the nearest bathroom, hearing the echoes of them talking business as the office was right beside the bathroom. He listened to the nonsense said and heard his name be cussed a few times like they weren’t under the same sun.
“Cunts.” He hushed huskily and sat down on the closed toilet, unzipping his flies to reveal the bursting rush of adrenaline seeping from his erected cock that had been causing him discomfort for the past hour.
“Yeah, good luck controlling Trevor! He is, and I mean it Davey! – “
Michael was always the biggest hater when it came to his impulsivity. In Mikey’s eyes, Trevor was the problem. Blamed for nothing, blamed for everything; blamed because he’s there as an excuse to be blamed, because he’s easy to blame! Because he’s so naive and emotionally immature! Because “the meth-head is here!” Because he’s utterly hated. And he’s sick of it.
But being degraded would spark unwanted friction in his lower region. The erection was out of hatred. It wasn’t fuelled by anything but competition.
“Oohh…” Trevor tried to refrain from making any noise since he was “bettering” himself. He strokes his fingers against the hardness and found it difficult to control the urges. So easily he could relieve himself right there, right on the spot, get the pain over and done with, but that doesn’t settle the depth. That doesn’t prove them all wrong, does it? No. Trevor clenched his jaw and continued edging himself raw.
“We know he’s unstoppable, but we can keep tabs on him.”
“Oh yeah, that makes me feel a lot better, Davey.” Michael’s sarcasm echoed through the building and Trevor found pitiful pleasure in it. One finger turned into two, and they both circled around his cock to discipline the need to cum.
“It can be achieved.”
“I’m finding that hard to believe. Trevor is not someone you can monitor. He’s an animal.” He’s an animal. He’s an animal.
He repeated this in his head with Mikey’s voice. He’s an animal. This somewhat caused more action in his hands. Trevor released a cracked gasp when his cock hardened and stood there, straight and stiff. His uncircumcised tip was begging for warmth as it shivered and cuddled his palm, the whole stimulation of being in this cold bathroom, bottomless, trying to overcome his “one pump chump” name.
“Please…” He whispered and closed his eyes, beginning to self-pleasure.
“Animals can be monitored.” Dave’s hushed voice lined with Michael’s.
“In what? A zoo?”
“We know things he don’t. We must conceal secrets, Michael.”
Trevor would be curious if he wasn’t in a state of self-despair and horrid pleasure. He covered his mouth and began handling the boner rather viciously. His cock made heated noises as the skin to skin contact was intense and ugly.
“Oh, fuck. No, no… c’mon…” He spoke to himself; deprived of further company. How quick his orgasm would be if Mikey was here to express his sprawled hatred in his ear, whispering insults, tormenting Trevor’s mentality, degrading his existence.
Pathetic.
He shouldn’t be feeling this way. The toilet seat shouldn’t be heated with the built of sweat from the increased body temperature. Trevor tried to straighten his posture but sluggishly bellowed forward, gritting his teeth and touching his cock real good.
The urge to cry out for Michael was heavenly close. Like the yellow gates high up, he felt his body levitate and divide from reality. The climax was approaching fast and soon he enjoyed being bestial and subhuman. He enjoyed all those words of slander running from Mikey’s fast, sloppy tongue. So badly did he want that familiar scent of whiskey to cuddle him close while he’s being brutally fucked by that man. By his best friend, his “best” pal.
“Yes, yes, yes!” Trevor began increasing with pitch, his back arch, hands clenching around his erratic cock.
The background noise of gossip from the other members grew silent, and soon it was just Trevor and his uneasy moans that echoed faster than a bullet could pierce.
“Ah! Fuck me! Shit!” Reaching his orgasm, the criminal hurled forward and watched cum hit the bathroom floor and jeans. It was warm, fresh cum from his abomination of a masturbation session. Trevor continued to rub himself through the wetness with his teeth grinding together. “Uhh… Argh…”
It all came out – that angst. Trevor was a fool to think he could even control himself. He plopped onto the toilet seat again and wiped the built up sweat from his sideburns. It smelt moist and humid. It smelt of him working off to his own body. Destructive behaviour; he wanted Mikey to smell and inhale his musk with pride. All of that, just for his good old buddy who was still silent from the office, unless they were whispering amongst themselves but there’s nothing too good for a whisper.
“Trevor.” Davey addressed in a sly tone after he walked into the office when activity idled.
Trevor ignored the FIB agent and briskly past Michael, giving him that knowing look.
From under that grumpy exterior, Mikey’s eyes squinted to return that cheek. A non-verbal, mutual exchange. Not even a second later did they both disappear from the group…

This has been on my mind for a while, so I’m going to get deep into it.
People often talk about Howard Shore’s musical scores for The Lord of the Rings as being among the most underrated scores out there, and for good reason. But the scores I personally think are the most underrated are Michael Giacchino’s for Lost. I could go on and on about how great they are just as beautiful music to listen to, how much raw emotion is packed into it, how interesting the individual character themes are, and how innovative the instrumentation is and how much it fits the Island as a setting and a character in and of itself not to mention how active a role the music plays in the storytelling.
The way Giacchino often chose to use found or deconstructed objects as musical instruments—such as the guts of a piano, or pieces of the actual Boeing 777 that was used for the crash site scenes—especially in season 1, to mirror how the characters had to use the wreckage of the plane and the resources they found in the jungle in order to survive. And the way he used unusual instruments like the flapamba or a metallic angklung for music associated with the Others to make them feel so strange and bizarre in seasons 1-2, before we quite get to know them as actual people.
Or the sheer understatedness of the show’s main theme, and how beautifully it expresses both the trauma of surviving a plane crash and the hope of being rescued.
And how “Hollywood & Vines” is one of the most exciting and heroic pieces of music since the Fellowship theme in the Lord of the Rings films.
Then there’s “Life and Death,” some of the most iconic and memorable of Lost’s score music—again, its sheer simplicity, and yet its utility in both sad scenes that are full of loss and grief, like the death of Boone, as well as hopeful ones, like the birth of Aaron, and how this suggests that life and death are not polar, binary opposites, but rather two sides of the same coin, part of a mystical cycle.
Then there are the actual character themes, the most beautiful of which in my opinion is John Locke’s theme. He actually has a couple of themes, the first of which, “Crocodile Locke,” serves to build him up as such a mysterious figure, and in some ways serves as a stand-in theme for the Island itself, as it hints both for it and for Locke that things are not exactly what, or more than, they seem to be. And then there’s the beautiful and heartbreaking “Locke’d Out Again,” and the way Giacchino uses the exact same music for some of the lowest, saddest, and most hopeless and disappointing moments of a man’s life, when everything he had hoped for is being denied him and his value and worth are being rejected—as well as for what is arguably the most joyful and transcendent moment in his life, when his worth and value are, beyond all expectation, miraculously upheld and transformed in a way no one saw coming. And how the sadness of this musical theme doesn’t undermine that ecstasy but actually buoys it up even further.
The way Kate’s theme is so wandering and elusive, suggesting her inability to remain in one place for very long and her status as a fugitive, and yet its repeating structure suggests that these evasions have become part of a habitual, unavoidable cycle for her, a lifestyle of avoiding any lasting connection—until the Island.
Then there’s the fact that Jack, the show’s main male protagonist, doesn’t even get a theme of his own until season 3 when his character arc really starts to bend toward its final resolution (before this point, his major scenes are usually scored with the show’s main theme), and how this new theme speaks of his regret and his growing realization that so many things are beyond his compulsive need to fix everything.
And then the dark simplicity of Sawyer’s theme, the way its mere four notes are first played on the low ends of the harp, conveying so much emptiness, the very emptiness of hatred and revenge that has consumed his life until coming to the Island. And the way the theme begins to soften as Sawyer himself begins to grow as a character, finally melting into a more complex and more fully human version as it merges into a new theme, “La Fleur,” in season 5 when Sawyer most fully comes into his own, reflecting his new relaxedness, a measure of healing, and even relationality.
And don’t get me started on Ben’s theme, how it begins as a generic theme for the Others, stark and menacing and a bit surreal, then becomes more sympathetic as we learn more about Ben and his past, culminating in his heroic moment of sacrifice as he turns the frozen wheel in season 4.
Or how Jacob’s theme, “The Tangled Web,” basically tells us everything we need to know about him before we even realize that it’s actually Jacob himself that we’re seeing onscreen: its feeling of ancientness, the air of destiny and chosenness, of getting caught up in something like fate or the rules of an old game that began long before our main characters arrived on the Island. How although Jacob represents light and goodness in the story, there is still a sinister note in this music, something indicating he is not completely good, that there is some shadow in his past. A dark spot amidst the white, like in the yin-yang symbol. And how this speaks to the show’s theme of light and dark, how there is always some dark in the light, always some light in the midst of the dark.
I could go on and on with the character themes...and I already have, so I’ll just close by touching on the show’s final musical moments, the track “Moving On” on the season 6 soundtrack. It’s such a quietly beautiful track, blending several of the themes I’ve mentioned here as well as others, including the departure theme and the home theme, both of which are standout pieces featured most prominently in other season finales.
And Giacchino wrote all of it. All the music for 121 straight episodes. He didn’t farm it out to other composers, he didn’t take a break every few episodes. He wrote every character theme, motif, and trombone fall-off.
The man deserves a fucking award, just for his work on Lost alone.

I don't think I've posted about this before (way back when I first had the idea) but here's my pitch for an Eternal Darkness TV series:
One season for each of the three Ancients that Pious can align himself with. Each season has the same basic plot and structure--Alex investigating Edward's death, finding the Tome and reading about past incidents until she's ready to fight the Ancient--but the details change.
The season premiere would always be about Alex coming to the mansion and searching the place until she finds the Tome, and then we see how Pious aligned himself with an Ancient. The Ancient would be different each time of course, but so would other things. The scenes would play out the same way, but the dialogue, the way things are filmed, little visual and aural touches, would all change to suit the given Ancient's modus operandi. In particular, the characterization of Pious would shift in such a way as to emphasize why he would pick which Ancient over the others. I'd want these details to be subtle enough that if you went a long time between seasons you might not notice them, but prominent enough that if you watched the seasons close together, you wouldn't feel like you were watching the same episode over again.
From there, the season would unfold with each episode focusing on a different chapter of the Tome, but each season would feature entirely different chapters. (Seasons would probably be about 6-8 episodes total.) The ten other player characters from the game would be spread out over the three seasons, and be complemented with newly-created characters, drawing partially from cut chapters from the game. New settings should be added, and we probably wouldn't visit the same place twice in one season--the feeling of revisiting a location and being surprised by differences could be done across seasons rather than over a single run of the story. Unlike the other characters, Edward would probably get an episode every season because he's important enough to warrant it, and because his possession of the Tome is how it enters the story in the first place. I wouldn't want to rely too much on the "subtle changes to the same scenes" gimmick, so his episodes would probably all have very different versions of how he found the Tome.
I'd want the tone of each season to shift slightly in accordance with its Ancient as well. Each play-through of the game couldn't change the game mechanics, but we could achieve a similar effect to that in a TV series. The Chattur'gha season would lean more in the direction of action-horror, like a zombie movie, where the feeling of fear mostly comes from constant overwhelming physical danger. The Ulyaoth season would introduce magick and focus on characters trying to understand the threat they're up against, which they only can to a limited extent, but the horror would be in just knowing how out-matched they are in the bigger picture. (A problem I have with the game is that everything is a bit too clearly-explained and grounded in literal terms; I'd try to fix that.) And the Xel'lotath season would hardly include any fighting at all, but be rooted in psychological head-trips, constantly keeping the characters and audience uncertain of what comes next on a moment-to-moment basis. The seasons would probably go in that order as well. Chattur'gha is a simple introduction to the story, Ulyaoth elaborates a bit on the cosmology and lore, and Xel'lotath should definitely be last because it's easier to undermine audience's expectations when they've had two seasons to form some expectations.
This shift in tone would also inform which characters are in which season: Michael Edwards and Edwin Lindsey, for instance, would be perfect for the Chattur'gha season because they're tasty in a fight. If an Edward Roivas episode were in only one season, it would be the Ulyaoth season because he's the one collecting all this information and passing it to Alex. Maximillian Roivas would be talked about in the other seasons but his episode would be in the Xel'lotath one since it's all about his complete mental breakdown. The nature of the final confrontation with Pious and the Ancient at the end of each season would also change in nature to suit the theme.
Finally, shameless self-promotion: if you enjoyed this why not check out my Let's Play of Eternal Darkness. It's eight years old now and it was only my second LP, but I revisited it recently and I actually think I did an all right job, which is not something I easily say about my own work. That link is to the subtitled LP, which I did first. There's also two versions I did with voice commentary, (one without commentary cut from the cutscenes, one uncut) but I never felt I was very good at that. Maybe that's just because I don't like my own voice and verbal ticks. Anyway, I'm working on getting better at it.

* * * *
The media’s dysfunction is occurring in the “Musk hellscape” that is Twitter. Shortly after Musk took over Twitter, he tweeted,
Twitter obviously cannot become a free-for-all hellscape, where anything can be said with no consequences! In addition to adhering to the laws of the land, our platform must be warm and welcoming to all.
It took all of twenty-four hours for Musk to break his promise by converting Twitter into his personal “free-for-all-hellscape” by promoting a baseless, offensive, defamatory statement about the attempted assassination of Nancy Pelosi and assault on Paul Pelosi. Though Musk deleted his tweet, he offered no correction, no apology, and no suspension of his own account for violating Twitter’s terms of service. Twitter is quickly reflecting the disordered nature of Musk’s mind and personality. That bodes ill for Twitter and democracy.
How should people who use Twitter legitimately react to Musk’s takeover and his immediate abuse of the platform? For the moment, I hope that responsible commentators will remain on Twitter and continue to provide fair, factual, and important commentary. Although I do not actively post on Twitter, I respect many who do. We cannot abandon Twitter to extremists and conspiracy-theory mongers who seek to undermine our democracy. There may come a time when being associated with Musk and Twitter is untenable. That time has not yet arrived. So, if you use Twitter responsibly, I hope you will continue to add balance and reason to Musk’s hellscape.
Without regard to whether we use Twitter, each of us has a role to play in fighting the disinformation and hate that seem poised to overwhelm and sunder that platform—and our nation. Speaking the truth requires that we educate ourselves about the truth. That is the only way we can navigate the free-for-all-hellscape created by Elon Musk. I understand that can be difficult and exhausting—but that is what the trolls and lunatics who lurk on Twitter are counting on. In whatever way you can, to whatever degree you can, be an ambassador for the truth. Our nation’s future depends on it.

Writes Thats Another Fine Mess
I hate that I have to use the term "fellow Aspergian" to describe Elon Musk. He is emotionally permanently the 12-year old who got so badly bullied it affected him mentally, as he demonstrates daily. Aspergians are really smart where we are "interested," plus we can be very successful in those areas when we apply ourselves because of our 8-10 hour spans of attention. Where we aren't interested, it's "in one ear and out the other" and we might as well be morons. I learned at an early age that "the mark of the intelligent man is to know where he's stupid," as my Aspergian (only they didn't know that was what it was then) father once told me. I stick to what interests me and all of you think I am really smart. Which I am. In those things. Trust me, I can be a moron's moron when it comes to what doesn't interest me, which is a long list.
Musk, because he was interested in computers and able to apply his span of attention, got rich with what became PayPal at an early age. Once that happened he was in danger, because being rich means being in "a world where there is no 'no,'" which eventually drives the inhabitant crazy but his enablers say nothing and he comes to believe because he is rich he is a genius in all things. The result is what we see with Musk (who I call Muck and that's not a typo).
Personally, I'd like to take the worthless piece of shit and stick him in one of his tinny toys, then stuff that in one of his rockets and fire it into the sun. Make the universe great again.
But god I hate the fact I understand him because he's one of us.
