Breakfast in Scarabia that morning ranged from traditional foods of Arabic and Indian origin as well as other requested dishes, that had been asked for by several students in the dorm. Of course there were the usual breakfast items as well for those who liked cornflakes and the like for breakfast, a few fruits too. Scarabia was incredibly lucky to have Jamil as well as the few helpers that were there. Jamil did most of the prep work this morning with Inky, a few other students had joined them later, helping them in the kitchen.
It was nice to have the help but Jamil liked the quiet of that morning before the other students showed up. By now he'd woken up Kalim too so that he wasn't missing breakfast. Scarabia's dining hall was, at least, still clean and the lounge, where the party had been, wasn't too bad for once. It seems like kalim had gotten help and tidied up a little after the party with a few others. It was the least he could do, he knew Jamil was taking a break and perhaps asleep and that the prefect Inky was with him.
For now however they all ate together, talked and made plans, just enjoyed each other's company in the morning while the magical storm raged outside on nightraven's campus. It was strange how different the weather was but it was a nice change to always being cold. That's what Inky thought at least. Her room at home was always nice and warm, but she was always lonely there. Here she wasn't. She had good friends here and Jamil was here too. Good god she knew how smitten she was over Jamil. She'd really been charmed by the snake and didn't care to do anything about it.
Over breakfast it was Jamil that sat across from her, next to Kalim who sat at the table head. Inky was sitting on Kalim's other side, grim having been squeezed in between her and another student. And right then Jamil was stealing glances at her. How could he not? There was just something about her in his jersey. Though it didn't take long for the dorm leader to speak up though.
"Hey Inky, no offense but I noticed your clothes seem really beat up these days.. do you have any nicer clothes? If not we could go and have some nice ones made!" He offered, which actually would be pretty.. pretty great, but Inky still shook her head.
"I couldn't afford that, I've been living off a few thrifted clothes Sam had so they're not gonna be the nicest.. no offence taken though, I get what you mean."
"Did I say you'd be paying? I thought I could get you some nice clothes since you've been doing so much for the school and I think it's more than unfair you don't get recognised for that..!"
Kalim laughed slightly and smiled at her, which made Inky gawk a little.
"I won't say no to gifts but I'll feel like I need to give something back.. so maybe let's not make it too extravagant" Inky said, agreeing but asking for only sensible amounts of money spent.. because she really did feel like she had to give something back if Kalim went through with that idea but something that she also thought, yet didn't say, was that she felt expensive things would be a waste on her.
After calling ahead at home for a car, or rather a limousine, which was standard for kalim, and informing the headmage that they would be using the mirror to take an impromptu trip to the scalding sands. Inky had also changed into some simple jeans and a t-shirt by that point, using a hair clip that had been a gift from Ace and Deuce to put back their curly hair. When they arrived it was already quite hot and Inky was happy for the well working AC in the car, even though the t-shirt did help.
A little drive through the city with a pair of cheap headphones in one ear later and they had arrived at a tailor's, though they also had ready made clothing as well there.
The music Inky was playing during the ride was playing from an old music gadget, a Hamelin-piper which was similar to an iPod from back home, that saved music via something like a USB cable. It was a bit girlish and had the name Gertrude in its casing, it had been the little gadget's nickname apparently. That was from Cater, who had found it but had no real need for it anymore since he had a phone and better tastes nowadays. She was glad he was willing to give it to her even if she had to get used to the music, not that it was a weird genre to her though.
Back to the topic, the Tailor that Inky had been semi dragged into by Kalim and that Jamil followed them both into was quite high end, so a little overwhelming in the first moments. Kalim asked Jamil to step out and talk to one of the people in charge about readying a consultation for custom garments as well as picking out some nice fabrics, since Jamil did have quite good taste. You know, to get him out of the room so that Inky and Kalim could pick outfits and surprise Jamil when the occasion came to wear them. Smart move there, bud.
So he asked for Inky's preferences, so she would feel comfortable in the clothes he suggested. Now, he was not Vil, but he did know his way around the store and even enlisted an employee to help pick things out. Inky picked things out too. Of course she wasn't actually planning to ask Kalim to buy all of those, that would be crazy and she'd feel bad because of the sheer amount of money. But they did get outfits that were quite nice, you know, a skirt or two, some shirts, a good sweatshirt, and a thin jacket, a couple of pairs of shorts, about three.. oh and a hoodie. Inky actually asked for a hoodie since she felt they were comfortable. As well as a singular outfit set consisting of a dark blue cropped wrap top with bishop sleeves and a maxi skirt she could wear at both hip height and at her natural waist, both had small white and sometimes tiny yellow flowers all over it. It was clear that Inky really liked the way it looked, it seemed to be a favourite. But that was all she'd pick and she was sure it was all kalim was going to be allowed to pay for, by her own standards.
Due to that she was surprised when Kalim nudged her towards a fitting room. She needed.. a dorm uniform! Grim had mentioned that Inky admired the other dorm's uniforms, Scarabia included, when she first saw them and Kalim decided that Inky deserved one! Because Grim also let slip that the prefect felt sort of left out, without that special uniform. So after a lot of measuring, talking about preferences and finally choosing fabrics, the seamstress said she'd be in touch, especially with designs and suggestions she would personally have.
After they were done and outside Kalim looked at his phone and waved Jamil down. Apparently his parents wanted to talk to Kalim, so how about they go back to the Al Asim estate and Jamil could show Inky around the park at the front? Surely the animals would be a lovely sight and Jamil was so knowledgeable about them and the two would have fun together! Inky agreed, on the condition that Jamil also had to wholeheartedly agree and want to show her around. Surprisingly, Jamil did agree to do that, show her around and spend time with her. The ride to Kalim's family's home was quiet and nice. Kalim and Inky shared the headphones this time, because kalim was curious what Inky listened to on her little 'Gertrude', other than that everything seemed normal until they halted.

Best Morbid Obesity Guidelines For Medical Treatment
Tumblr media
Severe morbid obesity, which people sometimes call clinical obesity, can increase your risk of developing other health issues or diseases. For adults who are clinically obese, obesity includes having a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or higher and a high percentage of body fat. BMI is not a diagnostic tool, but it can indicate the risk of various diseases.
Being morbidly obese makes it difficult for you to do daily activities such as walking, breathing and sleeping. It can also increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes and other various diseases.
According to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, 1 in 13 people in the United States were severely obese in 2014-2013. You can learn more about severe clinical obesity and learn its treatment methods in this article.
When an adult is severely obese, they have a high percentage (40 or higher) of body fat and BMI. BMI is a scale that helps medical professionals tell if a person is at risk of certain diseases.
A person with obesity is more exposed to heart diseases and other diseases. The higher the obesity class, the higher the probability of these complications.
However, it's worth noting that your BMI doesn't necessarily indicate whether or not you're at a healthy weight. In other words, this index does not indicate the right weight. This percentage does not show muscle mass compared to body fat percentage.
Examining the waist-to-hip ratio and fat distribution in the body can give a better idea of the risk of complications in a person. Scientists associate a large waist circumference due to body fat with a higher risk of cardiovascular disease.
Certain factors can increase your risk of developing morbid obesity, including:
Eating habits and activity levels can affect a person's energy levels.
Socio-economic conditions can limit the access to fresh food and the ability to exercise to some extent.
Genetic factors may play a role in your morbid obesity.
Family history may affect your obesity through genetic and environmental factors.
Certain medical conditions or underlying diseases are associated with obesity, including Cushing's syndrome and polycystic ovary syndrome.
Stress and anxiety can increase levels of the hormone cortisol, which can affect fat storage and weight gain.
Lack of sleep may increase your risk of developing this type of obesity.
Are social factors effective on the risk of obesity?
A 2017 review of studies from around the world suggests that the following social factors, among others, may contribute to the condition:
Traumatic stress, relationship problems, financial problems or a combination
Health level and awareness of diet
Workplace settings, including working hours and meal availability
Consumption and access to a varied and balanced diet
Access to green space and other considerations related to the level of living and urban activity
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), obesity affects everyone.
However, . A 2017 survey published by the CDC shows a more nuanced situation, with the prevalence of obesity varying according to a combination of factors such as education level, income, gender and race. The relationships between these factors appear to be complex.
Signs and symptoms of morbid obesity
An obese person may experience the following:
Sweating
tiredness
Joint and back pain
Difficulty breathing
Sleep problems, including snoring
Difficulty in physical activity
Low self-confidence and feelings of isolation
High blood pressure and other symptoms of metabolic syndrome
Symptoms of severe obesity include:
High accumulation of fat in the body
BMI of 40 or higher
Symptoms of complications such as high blood pressure
Complications of morbid obesity
Complications of obesity can include:
Metabolic syndrome, which includes type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and other features.
High level of "bad" cholesterol and low level of "good" cholesterol.
High triglyceride levels
stroke
Heart disease
Gallbladder disease
Arthritis
Sleep apnea and other breathing problems
Mental conditions such as depression and anxiety
Some cancers
body pain
Difficulty in daily functions and activities
Higher risk of hospitalization due to COVID-19
These conditions can affect people's lifespan and quality of life.
Diagnosis of morbid obesity
If someone visits their doctor with concerns about their weight or BMI, the doctor will likely do the following:
It measures their weight and height to verify their BMI.
It asks questions about the person's eating habits and amount of daily exercise.
Considers individual and family medical history.
Performs blood tests to check for health conditions that may be contributing to obesity.
It prescribes testing for complications that may require medical attention, such as high blood pressure.
Treatment options for severe obesity
If a person has severe obesity or its complications, the doctor may recommend the following treatment options:
Recommend a suitable program for weight loss.
Work with the individual to plan and determine an exercise program.
If the person's mobility is limited, recommend a physiotherapy program.
Prescribing drugs such as orlistat (Alli), which reduce the amount of fat absorbed by the body.
If other options do not help, recommend bariatric surgery.
Eliminate and treat any complications such as type 2 diabetes and other features of metabolic syndrome.
A person should work with their doctor or nutritionist to develop a proper plan and follow the instructions carefully.

SSD Capacities: Accessing the Potential
Tumblr media
Real-world workloads enable huge SSD capacities and efficient data granularity
Large SSDs (30TB+) present new challenges. Two important ones are:
High-density NAND, like QLC (quad-level cell NAND that stores 4 bits of data per cell), enables large SSDs but presents more challenges than TLC.
SSD capacity growth requires local DRAM memory growth for maps that have traditional 1:1000 DRAM to Storage Capacity ratios.
We cannot sustain the 1:1000 ratio. Do we need it? Why not 1:4000? Or 1:8000? They would cut DRAM demand by 4 or 8. What’s stopping us?
This blog examines this approach and proposes a solution for large-capacity SSDs
First, why must DRAM and NAND capacity be 1:1000? The SSD must map system logical block addresses (LBA) to NAND pages and keep a live copy of them to know where to write or read data. Since LBAs are 4KB and map addresses are 32 bits (4 bytes), we need one 4-byte entry per 4KB LBA, hence the 1:1000 ratio. We’ll stick to this ratio because it simplifies the reasoning and won’t change the outcome. Very large capacities would need more.
Once map entry per LBA is the best granularity because it allows the system to write at the lowest level. 4KB random writes are used to benchmark SSD write performance and endurance.
Long-term, this may not work. What about one map entry every four LBAs? 8, 16, 32+ LBAs? One map entry every 4 LBAs (i.e., 16KB) may save DRAM space, but what happens when the system wants to write 4KB? Since the entry is every 16KB, the SSD must read the 16KB page, modify the 4KB to be written, and write back the entire 16KB page. This would affect performance (“read 16KB, modify 4KB, write back 4KB”, rather than just “write 4KB”) and endurance (system writes 4KB but SSD writes 16KB to NAND), reducing SSD life by a factor of 4.
It’s concerning when this happens on QLC technology, which has a harder endurance profile. For QLC, endurance is essential!
Common wisdom holds that changing the map granularity (or Indirection Unit, or “IU”) would severely reduce SSD life (endurance).
All of the above is true, but do systems write 4KB data? And how often? One can buy a system to run FIO with 4KB RW profile, but most people don’t. They buy them for databases, file systems, object stores, and applications. Does anyone use 4KB Writes?
We measured it. We measured how many 4KB writes are issued and how they contribute to Write Amplification, i.e., extra writes that reduce device life, on a set of application benchmarks from TPC-H (data analytics) to YCSB (cloud operations), running on various databases (Microsoft SQL Server, RocksDB, Apache Cassandra), File Systems (EXT4, XFS), and, in some cases, entire software defined storage solutions like Red Hat Ceph Storage
Before discussing the analysis, we must discuss why write size matters when endurance is at stake.
Write 16K to modify 4K creates a 4x Write Amplification Factor for a 4KB write. What about an 8K write? If in the same IU, “write 16K to modify 8K” = WAF=2. A bit better. If we write 16K? It may not contribute to WAF because one “writes 16K to modify 16KB”. Just small writes contribute to WAF.
Writes may not be aligned, so there is always a misalignment that contributes to WAF but decreases rapidly with size.
The chart below shows this trend:
Large writes barely affect WAF. 256KB may have no effect (WAF=1x) if aligned or low (WAF=1.06x) if misaligned. Much better than 4KB writes’ 4x!
To calculate WAF contribution, we must profile all SSD writes and align them within an IU. Bigger is better. The system was instrumented to trace IOs for several benchmarks. After 20 min, we post-process samples (100–300 million per benchmark) to check size, IU alignment, and add every IO contribution to WAF.
The table below shows how many IOs each size bucket holds:
As shown, most writes fit in the 4–8KB (bad) or 256KB+ (good) buckets.
If we apply the above WAF chart to all misaligned IOs, the “Worst case” column shows most WAF is 1.x, a few 2.x, and very rarely 3.x. Better than 4x but not enough to make it viable.
IOs are not always misaligned. Why would they? Why would modern file systems misalign structures at such small scales? They don’t.
We measured and post-processed each benchmark’s 100+ million IOs to compare them to a 16KB IU. Last column “Measured” WAF shows the result. WAF >=1.05x, so one can grow the IU size by 400%, make large SSD using QLC NAND and existing, smaller DRAM technologies at a life cost of >5%, not 400%! These results are amazing.
The argument may be that many 4KB and 8KB writes contribute 400% or 200% to WAF. Given the small but numerous IO contributions, shouldn’t the aggregated WAF be much higher? Though many, they are small and carry a small payload, minimising their volume impact. A 4KB write and a 256KB write are both considered single writes in the above table, but the latter carries 64x the data.
Adjusting the above table for IO Volume (i.e., each IO size and data moved) rather than IO count yields the following representation:
The colour grading for more intense IOs is now skewed to the right, indicating that large IOs move a lot of data and have a small WAF contribution.
Finally, not all SSD workloads are suitable for this approach. For instance, the metadata portion of a Ceph storage node does very little IO, causing high WAF=2.35x. Metadata is unsuitable for large IU drives. The combined WAF is minimally affected if we mix data and metadata in Ceph (a common approach with NVMe SSDs), as data is larger than metadata.
Moving to 16K IU works in apps and most benchmarks, according to our testing. The industry must be convinced to stop benchmarking SSDs with 4K RW and FIO, which is unrealistic and harmful to evolution.

When you’re looking to invest in property, one of the first things you need to do is identify your target market and figure out what type of property will fit that market. After that, it’s about finding a property that meets your specific needs and financial requirements. In this blog post, we will discuss some of the factors you should consider when searching for an investment property loan. From pre-qualification requirements to down payment assistance and more, this article has everything you need to know to get started with your property search. Mortgage loans for Self-employed Lubbock What is an investment property loan? Investment property loans are a popular way to borrow money for real estate. They allow you to borrow a fixed amount of money over a period of time, usually between one and five years. This can be useful if you want to buy a property but don’t have enough money upfront. You can also use an investment property loan to renovate or build on your property. There are different types of investment property loans available, so it’s important to understand what they are before you apply. ITIN home loan Lubbock There are several factors that you need to consider when borrowing money for an investment property: the interest rate, the term of the loan, and the security of the loan. Interest rates vary depending on the type of loan you take out, but they’re usually higher than standard personal loans. The term of the loan is also important; shorter terms mean that you will pay less in interest over the course of the loan, while longer terms may offer more flexibility. Finally, security is another factor to consider when borrowing money for an investment property. Some lenders require a down payment (usually 10-25%) on investment property loans, meaning that you will need to put some capital down before you can get your hands on the money. Mortgage loans for bad credit Lubbock
If you’re interested in investing in real estate but don’t have ready access to funds, an investment property loan might be a good option for you. Before applying for a loan, however, make sure to research Investment property loans Lubbock

What are the requirements for a loan application? To get a loan for investment property, you'll need to meet certain requirements. Here are the most important: -You must be able to provide documentation of your income and assets. -You must be able to show that you can afford the repayments on the loan. -You must have good credit history. -You must have a reliable source of income. -Your property must be worth at least $250,000. How much can you borrow? Investment property loans can be a great way to get the funding you need for your new project or to consolidate your existing debt. However, before you apply for a loan, there are some things you need to know. Here are four key points: 1. Know Your Income and Debt Ratios: Before you can borrow money to invest in property, you'll need to know your income and debt ratios. This will help determine whether or not you're able to afford the monthly payments on the loan, as well as the total cost of the mortgage over time. 2. Calculate Your Closing Costs: Another important factor when applying for an investment property loan is calculating your closing costs. These can include things like attorney fees, title insurance premiums, and appraisal fees. Make sure to factor these costs into your budget before submitting your application. 3. Compare Interest Rates: Finally, be sure to compare interest rates before deciding which loan option is best for you. Different lenders offer different interest rates based on your credit score and other factors. It's important to compare all of the available options before making a decision. What are the penalties for not repaying an investment property loan? If you do not repay your investment property loan on time, the lender can take various actions, including: • Repossessing the property. • Putting a lien on the property. • Foreclosing on the property. • Selling the property at auction. • Taking other legal action to get their money back. What is the due-on-sale date? Investment property loans are a popular way to finance your purchase of investment property. The due-on-sale date is the date on which the loan is due. The terms and conditions of the loan will be based on the loan amount, term, and interest rate. There are a few things you should know about the due-on-sale date: 1. The due-on-sale date is important because it determines when payments on the loan will be made. 2. If you miss a payment on your investment property loan, the lender may accelerate the due-on-sale date and sell your property before you have a chance to repay the loan. This can result in serious financial consequences for you. 3. It’s important to keep track of your due-on-sale dates so that you don’t lose your property because you missed a payment. What happens if you miss a payment? If you miss a payment on your investment property loan, you may be subject to penalties and interest. If the missed payment is more than 30 days late, the lender may start proceedings to take possession of your property. If the missed payment is more than 60 days late, the lender may declare your loan in default and sell your property at auction. In addition, you may be subject to criminal prosecution for failing to make timely payments on an investment property loan. How long does it take to receive your money from a loan? It can take up to five days for an investment property loan to be approved and transferred into your account. Once the loan is deposited into your account, you will have access to the funds and can begin making payments.

Last song: I don’t listen to a ton of music most of the time because it feels bad with my migraines. But I went to a singing circle a week ago and one or two of the shorter, more repetitive songs from there have been stuck in my head on and off. Also we sang the Elk Herds song with all the harmonies, even though there were only four of us left in the circle by that point in the evening, so that was great.
Last show/currently watching: Last shows were Wednesday, Is it Cake?, and Russian Doll season 2, which I feel is a perfect snapshot of my preferred tv-watching habits--two spec-fic dark comedies and a dumb cooking competition. (Left to my own devices I’d say the ratio would probably be the opposite, but I was watching Russian Doll with people, and in fact I’ve watched little enough tv in the past several years since starting my last job that what I watch with other people on Saturday evening movie/tv nights is enough to skew my statistics.) Currently I’m finishing up the shows that I was partway through with friends, but now won’t be continuing with them because I’ve moved away: Spy x Family and The Patient. Next at the top of my watch list are “Glass Onion” (which is admittedly a movie not a show) and Stranger Things Season 4. After that I’ll have to go to my lists and think a bit about what I want to watch, but maybe Sandman (even though I wasn’t too into the books 20 years ago), or His Dark Materials (ditto), or Good Omens (ditto again, just replace 20 years with 15; you can see why I haven’t watched these shows yet even though everyone else has). Or maybe I’ll be asking for recommendations.
Currently reading: My tumblr dash. Uh. A smattering of fanfic. The last book I read was two months ago and it was The Last Graduate (Scholomance book 2). Next book in the queue, when I get to my destination and establish myself as a patron at my new local library is The Golden Enclaves (Scholomance book 3), which I am looking forward to. After that, my best friend and I have decided to do the first Mistborn book as a book-club book, because both of us want to try out Sanderson. She because she was obsessed with WoT as a kid, and ended up reading the entire series as it came out; Sanderson wrote the last three books after Robert Jordan died, so she’s very curious what she’ll think of his own works. Me because Sanderson is my sister-in-law’s favorite author and I feel like I should make some attempt at bonding with her? After that the next two books I intend to read are Memories of Empire, and Beloved (by Toni Morrison) as my book club book with my best friend, because it’s one of her favorites to re-read and we meant to do a book club on it last summer but ended up just being too busy. Anyway, some years I read 2 books a month and some years I read maybe 3 books the whole year, so I don’t know how long it’ll take to get through this list.
Current obsession: Insofar as I even do obsessions, idk, Wednesday I guess. The Locked Tomb, still. A friend who lives 15 minutes away from my new home is obsessed with Scholomance so maybe he’ll get me obsessed with it; notwithstanding that I was patient zero for tlt fandom among the people I know, generally I don’t get obsessed with anything without feedback from people around me who are also into it. (My dad, my best friend, and a handful of my other irl friends are all into Wednesday.)
Tagging whoever wants, which I know is a cheat but I don’t want to put pressure and I’m sure I’ll find anyone’s answers interesting.

How Much Can I Borrow on a $25000 Salary?
When it comes to getting a loan, there are many things that you need to take into account. How much money do you make? How much debt do you currently have? What is your credit score like? These are all important factors that will determine how much money you can borrow and what interest rate you will be charged. In this blog post, we will answer the question: "How much loan can I get on a $25000 salary?" We will also provide some tips on how to improve your chances of being approved for a loan. So read on to find out more.
How much can I borrow on a $25000 salary?
The answer to this question depends on a few factors. The amount you can borrow will be based on your credit score, debt-to-income ratio, and other factors. Generally speaking, you can expect to borrow anywhere from three times to five times your monthly income. So, if you make $2500 a month, that would be $7,500 to $12,500.
The amount you can borrow will also depend on the loan terms and conditions offered by the lender. For example, some lenders may offer longer repayment periods or lower interest rates for larger loans. This could mean that you are able to borrow more money than if you had a shorter repayment period or higher interest rate.
Tips For Getting Approved For a Loan:
1-Check Your Credit Score: Before you start applying for loans, make sure that you check your credit score. This will give you an idea of what kind of interest rates and loan terms you can expect.
2-Pay Off Debt: Reducing your debt-to-income ratio can help you qualify for a loan with better terms. Try to pay off as much debt as possible before applying for a loan.
3-Shop Around: Different lenders will offer different terms and interest rates, so it’s important that you shop around to find the best deal.
4-Save Up A Down Payment: Having a down payment saved up can help you get approved for a loan, as it shows that you are financially responsible.
By following these tips, you can improve your chances of being approved for a loan on a $25000 salary. Remember, it’s important to shop around and compare different interest rates and loan terms to make sure that you get the best deal.
What if I don’t qualify for a loan?
If you don’t qualify for a loan, there are still options available. You may want to consider a loan from family or a friend, a home equity line of credit, or even a credit card. These may not be ideal solutions, but they can help you in a pinch.
Regardless of the option that you choose, make sure to do your research and read all of the terms and conditions before signing anything. Keeping these tips in mind can help you make the best decision for your financial situation.
FAQs
Can I get a mortgage on a $25000 salary?
Yes, you can, but it depends on your credit score, debt-to-income ratio, and other factors. Generally speaking, you can expect to borrow anywhere from three times to five times your monthly income.
Do I need a down payment for a loan?
It depends on the lender. Some lenders may require a down payment, while others may not. It’s best to shop around and compare different lenders to find the best deal.
What is the interest rate on a loan?
The interest rate depends on several factors, including your credit score and the terms of the loan. Generally speaking, the higher your credit score, the lower the interest rate you can expect.
Can I get a car loan on a $25000 salary?
Yes, you can. The amount you can borrow will depend on your credit score and other factors. Shopping around and comparing different lenders can help you get the best deal.
What credit score do I need for a loan?
This depends on the lender, but generally speaking, you will need at least 600 to qualify for a loan. However, the higher your credit score, the more likely you will be approved for a loan with better terms.
Can I get approved for a loan with bad credit?
Yes, you can. However, the terms of the loan may be less favorable than if you had good credit. You may also be required to pay a higher interest rate and/or down payment. It’s best to shop around and compare different lenders to find the best deal.
Can I get a loan from the government?
Yes, there are several government programs available that offer loans and grants. It’s best to check with the specific program you are interested in to see if you qualify.
Can I pay off my loan early?
Yes, you can. Paying off your loan earlier than the repayment period will save you money on interest. However, some lenders may charge an early repayment fee, so it’s important to check with your lender first before making any decisions.
Closing thoughts
Overall, getting a loan on a $25000 salary is possible if you take the right steps to prepare for the application process. Make sure to research different lenders, shop around for the best deal, and save up a down payment. By following these tips, you can improve your chances of being approved for a loan.

Dota 2 Graphics Settings (Best Looking & High FPS)
Tumblr media
Welcome to our Dota 2 Graphics Settings (Best Looking & High FPS) guide. The Dota 2 Reborn update uses the new Source 2 engine. This update makes the game look a bit better, and is a bit more optimized than the older engine. #Dota2
Dota 2 Graphics Settings (Best Looking & High FPS)
There are currently very few available benchmarks that compare the performance of Reborn vs the original Dota 2. From the benchmarks that can be found, it can be seen that Reborn's performance is roughly the same, or slightly better on average. Those who are worried about the switch from the original Dota 2 to Dota 2 Reborn can rest assured that you get better visuals and slightly better overall performance on the same hardware. A Note About Frame Rate (FPS) Frames per second (FPS) measures the number of images your computer can produce every second. Higher frame rates mean that your screen will show more images per second, which means that you will see a smoother animation. Lower frame rates cause a game to appear to stutter, which is generally not enjoyable for the player. For the purposes of your PC build , I recommend computers that will achieve 60 FPS in your game of choice. Some gamers are satisfied with frame rates as low as 30, but that depends largely on the gamer and the game. Higher Resolution for Better Gaming Resolution refers to the number of pixels on a screen. High resolution means more pixels and generally more space and detail, while low resolution means fewer pixels, and often less space. If you are using a typical (not high-end) laptop or an old screen, you likely have a low resolution. When comparing screens with a similar aspect ratio, it is always better to get a higher resolution screen. Higher resolution will always looks better, as you have more real estate and a sharper picture. The image below shows the difference in real estate between common resolutions.
Tumblr media
Dota 2 Game Settings Dota 2 has 4 preset settings, ranging from Fastest (Lowest graphical requirements) to Best Looking which looks the best but requires more graphical power. Dota 2 also has several settings that can be adjusted and even turned off. For a start, let us take a look at the game with all settings on, and compare it to the lowest possible settings. all settings off
Tumblr media
all settings on
Tumblr media
By comparing the game on maximum and minimum settings, it is easy to tell what a huge impact settings have on the game. With all settings set to low, the game looks like a 90's title, with low quality textures and bad graphics. With all the settings on, the game looks quite good, particularly the flora. In this segment, we explore the various graphical settings available in Dota 2, and check the effects that these settings have, both graphically and in terms of the performance penalty.
Tumblr media
Anti-Aliasing Dota 2 Graphics Settings (Best Looking & High FPS) To explain it very simply: Aliasing is what causes "jaggies". In the image below, you can clearly see the jagged edges of the buildings, with AA off. The smaller vines on the buildings look very pixellated too. With AA on, all the jagged lines are smoothed. and the vines look much better. anti-aliasing off
Tumblr media
anti-aliasing on
Tumblr media
Framerate effect: AA has a medium impact on FPS (~10-13%). Specular (and light blooms) Specular lighting lets object react properly to light sources, making things a bit brighter and more shiny, particularly in the centre of the screen. Light blooms gives a faint glow or halo around objects, as shown below. specular lighting off
Tumblr media
specular lighting on
Tumblr media
If you prefer, you can turn light blooms off, as the effect is quite subtle. I recommend keeping specular lighting on though. Framerate effect: Specular lighting has a medium impact on FPS (~10%). Light bloom has a negligible impact on FPS. High Water Quality Even with High Water Quality set to off, Dota 2 water still looks ok. With with High Water Quality on, water becomes properly transparent, showing just how shallow the river is (half a foot deep! it is an elongated puddle, not a river). Water also becomes properly reflective, and quite pretty. I recommend keeping this setting on, if possible. high water quality off
Tumblr media
high water quality on
Tumblr media
Framerate effect: High water quality has a high impact on FPS (~15%), but only when the camera is viewing the river. Atmospheric Fog A very subtle effect, where there is a proper fog in areas where you have no vision. You will not be spending much time inspecting areas where you have no vision, and the effect is quite difficult to discern, even when you are actively looking for it. atmospheric fog off
Tumblr media
atmospheric fog on
Tumblr media
If you took a long look at the image above, and still cannot see the difference: Take a look at the trees in top right. With atmospheric fog on, those trees are slightly more “lost in the fog”. Framerate effect: Atmospheric fog has a medium impact on FPS (~6-8%). Animate portrait Enables/Disables unit portrait animations, makes your portrait animated. Crystal Maiden
Tumblr media
Framerate effect: Has a low impact on FPS (~5%). Additive Light Pass What is additive light pass? It is a method for adding lighting to the scene over multiple passes. How does it affect the way the game looks? In the image comparison below, you can see that Storm and the creeps look a bit brighter and more highlighted with Light Pass on. For everything else in the scene, additive light pass makes a barely noticeable difference. additive light pass off
Tumblr media
additive light pass on
Tumblr media
Framerate effect: Additive light pass has a variable impact on FPS, depending on what is showing on screen. It can be anywhere from ~0-10%. World Lighting - Dota 2 Graphics Settings (Best Looking & High FPS) Some objects in the world have their own source of lighting. Turning World Lighting on makes these objects light up, as seen in the tower in the image below. Take note of how the Ancient in the upper left lights up, as well as the tower on the right. world lighting off
Tumblr media
world lighting on
Tumblr media
Framerate effect: World lighting has a variable impact on FPS, depending on what is showing on screen. It can be anywhere from ~5-15%. Ambient Occlusion Ambient occlusion affects how objects reaction to ambient light (as opposed to point sources of light). With ambient occlusion set to off, the effect of shadows is lessened. With ambient occlusion on, shadows are a bit darker, and the parts of a building that are in the shade are more realistically lit. ambient occlusion off
Tumblr media
ambient occlusion on
Tumblr media
Framerate effect: Ambient occlusion has a high impact on FPS (~12-15%). Ambient Creatures Puts a few critters on the screen. In the image above, we have three butterflies, two birds, and a squirrel. Depending on where you are on the map, you may also see fish, snakes, frogs, dragonflies, and more. This setting makes the world feel more alive, but it can prove to be distracting.
Tumblr media
Framerate effect: Ambient creatures have a low impact on FPS (~5%). Vsync Vertical synchronization. This setting ensures that a frame has been fully displayed, before sending a new frame to the screen. The main purpose of Vsync is to prevent screen tearing, which occurs when the game sends more frames than your screen can handle. If you experience screen tearing, then set Vsync to on.
Game Screen Render Quality
Set to the lowest possible rendering setting (40%), the game looks like it was rendered at a very low resolution, then enlarged, giving a very blurred, highly-pixellated effect. render quality at 40%
Tumblr media
render quality at 100%
Tumblr media
At 70% render quality, the image looks much better, though there is still a slight blurring. 100% render quality is the sharpest, and I recommend you use that setting. Please note that the HUD is not affected by the render quality settings, and is always sharp and in focus. Framerate effect: Render quality has a very high impact on FPS (20% if you set the slider to "70% quality", and up to 50% if you slide it to the lowest setting). Since this is a slider, you can tweak it to set how much of an impact you want it to have on your game's looks and framerate.
Shadow Quality
Shadow quality has a major impact on how the game looks. High shadows is drastically different from low shadows, with shadows for units, buildings, trees and foliage, and even critters. If you set shadows to low, Dota 2 looks quite bland instead of dazzling, as nothing casts a long shadow. shadows on low
Tumblr media
shadows on ultra
Tumblr media
Medium shadows means having cloud shadows on, and it is not really much of a big difference over low shadows. Framerate effect: Medium shadow quality has a medium impact on FPS (~8%), but high shadow quality has a high impact, changing FPS by 15-20%.
Texture Quality
texture quality on low
Tumblr media
texture quality on high
Tumblr media
In the image comparison above, the differences between texture settings should be obvious. The texture of the buildings, grass, and flowers are all blurred and smudgey when on low settings, but sharp and good looking on high settings. Medium textures are much better than low textures, though still a bit blurred and pixellated. High texture is recommended, as it is the sharpest and clearest one. Framerate effect: Texture quality has a medium impact on FPS (~8%-12%). Choosing the Best Settings for Dota 2 If your computer can give a steady 60 FPS with all settings on, I recommend that you keep the settings on. If you are getting below 60 FPS, you can try lowering some of the game settings. Unfortunately, lowering multiple settings will not have a cumulative effect on framerate: If a setting give 10% improvement, and another gives 10%, lowering both will not give 20%, but between 10-12%. To improve your framerate, try the following steps, ordered by how they affect the game's visuals. Improve FPS (slightly) with little to no impact on visuals: - Set Atmospheric Fog to off. - Set World Lighting to off. - Set Ambient Creatures to off. These three settings have have a very minimal effect on your Dota 2 experience, and turning them off will help improve FPS by 5%-10%. Improve FPS (by a large amount) with a moderate impact on visuals: In addition to the above steps: - Set Specular to off. - Set High Quality Water to off. The 45%-50% FPS improvement is large, but comes at a cost, as there is a difference between having these settings on or off. Dota 2 still looks good, even without high quality water, but it looks better if the setting is on. Last resort: If all the above fail to give you your desired framerate, try the following drastic measures: - Set Shadow Quality to medium (additional 10-15% improvement in FPS) - Set Render Quality to 80% (additional 10-15% improvement in FPS) If you follow all the above steps, you can improve your FPS by a total of 60%-70%. Lowering your settings beyond this point results in visuals that are quite messy. Scroll a little further to compare Dota 2 on low and on medium settings. Tinkering With Legit Builds
Tumblr media
Smoke Blink And Invis
Tumblr media
You will see that Dota 2 is still quite nice on medium, but at its lowest settings, the blurry, pixellated, low-texture look of Dota 2 is not enjoyable. Settings Conclusion- Dota 2 Graphics Settings (Best Looking & High FPS) With all the settings switched on, Dota 2 is a beautiful game. Unfortunately, these settings do take a toll on hardware, particularly water quality, ambient occlusion, and shadow quality. That is a 200% difference in framerate, just by changing the settings. This is a huge problem developing here no everybody hates this idiot Trump and it hated him for a long time you got an office and start doing those dumb stuff trying to get him out and they couldn't even started taking their stuff back everyone started doing it and we started taking tons of it cuz they stopped doing it cuz he started fighting a little not much and he took over huge areas of businesses they're still doing it until the fool is gone and boy what a fool that guy is it looks like when a day is plans kind of completely wrong so Dave knew who it was the guy is a menace and we're going after them very hard they're tearing their areas apart and they can't stand it so bad they come running out it's like cork it took over 1500 office towns today and the larger in the Midwest and there's only about 3,000 left mostly Corky and we're going after him for his performance today even though he wasn't here no he wasn't doing that cable TV stuff is doing another idiotic performance.. and Atlanta's pretty big I did not showing the big part and it's often the distance to the right that one of their pans and they're not supposed to. You decided on a few things today we need to get some people something to do and others less to do my son needs stuff to do other than work for people for free so running around saying it all over the place it's idiots but it's idiocy okay and we need to get that package to him and soon it's starting to become a pain in the ass in the package will have to be rewritten at least the cover page and we don't want to open it and go through that stupid s*** again when someone idiot has to review the whole f****** thing but they'd have to do that anyways he says I said not really so we figured out something he probably would you can't have two packages out there and if they change anything they want to see what it is so we have to go through every single word with him every word to make sure it's the same and not bad and doesn't go the wrong way. That's why we don't want to do it again but we will and we have people that do it but we end up doing it it takes power but they use up their stuff it's going to wash them again and it's hard it gets the top guys though. And it's going to happen shortly but clearing the whole area out there those those towns will be ours today and around those towns with little ones and they go real fast when the big ones do cuz they get sucked in and they're going to be out and they'll be left with no outskirts and just cities. Max are fighting with the clones those are two groups. Shortly the 500 will be out because Tommy f is sending tons of his fleet 500 million were detached and 400 million are gone $300 million are total 100 million were taken and are being retrofitted the morlock got about 2 million of them. He's going to send another $500 million momentarily cuz he feels good and they'll probably get done dropped. And probably the same ratio or better meaning probably 300 million total 200 million retrofitted. And then while I could probably get three million. Or less. And the puppies start infiltrating and it's going to be this gay mess which is better than what it is now. Only has like 200 million ships of the Empire class and they'll probably wipe them out with regular ships those are so pissed off and he's going to bring another round down and that would be destiny 2 nope it's starcraft Warhammer and Warcraft open much similar ships no Warcraft is much different and Warhammer is much different and StarCraft all different ships the imperium is Warhammer and they have several different types of ships including the ones that look like ships starcraft does too but they look a lot different they're not as fancy and a lot of them looking very odd in the grosd inside. Who's preparing to strike shortly and is writing his other fleet another fleets and to bring them in and he is prepping his last fleet which is actually destiny 2 that's a mixed bag of everything and so he'll look like rebels imitate them to infiltrate and blow up rebel bases including Starfleet

Before paying attention to other aspects, first make sure the size of the mattress you have so that the bed linen you choose is the right size. Choosing the right size first can also protect yourself from feeling disappointed.
The reason is, not all series of a brand of bed linen issue various sizes, sometimes there are designs that are limited edition. So ask the size first, so you don't regret it in the end.
If the bed linen that has been chosen properly turns out to be in stock of the desired size, the mood can be bad, right?
8 Penjelasan Serat Linen Rami, bahan unik
Know the Bed Sheet Material in Detail
Currently there are at least 10 bed linen materials on the market, all of which have different dosages of components. Some consist of only one material, some consist of a combination of several ingredients with a certain ratio.
For example, CVC cotton fabric, this one cotton fabric material, although the main component is cotton, but on average it is mixed with viscose. The general ratio is 70: 30, this combination of cotton and viscose aims to make the sheets not only comfortable but also not easily wrinkled.
Then there is Twill cotton, if CVC cotton has a viscose blend, then Twill has a 2% spandex blend. Although both types of cotton, but they are different, Twill is slightly thinner so it is suitable for use in hot areas.
So when choosing bed linen, don't just stop at the word cotton, pay attention to what kind of cotton or fabric it is. At this stage it is the most crucial so that soft and cool sheets can be obtained and not just good.

Matching Bed Sheet Color to Room
Matching the color of the bed linen to the room must take precedence over choosing the motif, this is so that the bed linen and the room are in harmony. To make it easier, you can pair photos of the room with the color of the bed linen that will be selected. In this way the color of the bed linen will not deviate or contradict the impression of the room so that it adds comfort.
Choosing the Right Bed Sheet Motif
Choosing a bed linen motif is actually difficult, depending on the interior and paint in the room. For rooms that are already crowded, with various decorations on the walls, it would not be appropriate to choose a very striking bed linen motif.
However, if the walls of the room use no more than two colors, choosing a striking motif is not a problem. Striking or crowded motifs will increase the atmosphere of the room to be more lively and with character.

If you buy offline or directly in a store, just line them up side by side to see the difference. In this way, the advantages and disadvantages of each sheet will be very clear. Even if you still have too many choices at this stage, don't worry, there are other ways to help decide.

Consider the Price of the selected bed linen
The final step is to compare the price of the bed linen to be selected, the criteria of course the price of the bed linen must be according to the planned budget. At this stage, eliminate bed linen whose price is far above the budget so that when you get home you won't regret it.
If there are discounts or rebates, this one step can also be considered for deciding. Usually at the end or beginning of the month, there are many discounts both in online and offline stores.
From all the tips above, it seems quite helpful to choose which bed linen is good, cool, soft and the best. To make it more fitting, in addition to tips on choosing bed linen, this time we will also share recommendations for good bed linen. Marriage Made Easy
You know, I've been in mental health for almost 4 decades. I've been with my wife for 2. And the one thing that I see over and over again is relationships. The noise is almost deafening. So many people are complaining about how relationships are hard. But are they really...
Marriage and relationships are just like anything else. What you put into them, is what you get out of them. Whenever we gather 2 or more people together, there of course will be disagreements. But disagreements aren't necessarily bad. It's more how they are communicated. The saying, "it's not what you say, but how you say it" applies here. So when I look back at my 40 years of mental health work, and the 20 years of being married, there are definitely things that most successful couples do, that make marriage seem effortlessly. Let's take a look at a few.
Every relationship and marriage is going to look different. And that is probably the single most important thing to remember. Do not compare your love to the love of another. Yeah, all that social media you see about happy couples...I'm not going to say that it's not real. But what I am going to say is you never really know. And because you don't, it's not wise to use that as a barometer for your relationship. It's not science. In fact, many times it is show. But be that as it may. What works for one relationship, doesn't mean it's appropriate for all relationships.
I like basic. And some things will never go out of style. Like please and thank you. Time under your belt in a relationship doesn't mean being over saying please and thank you. To this day, I still say to my wife, "Thank you for marrying me" several times a month. 20 years later, I know she's not going anywhere. And truth be told, I don't say it to make her feel good {although I am glad it does.}, I say it because it is true. She has opened me up to a world that I probably would have never gotten to explore. Trust me, hearing please and thank you is a currency that every relationship needs.
Another big one to marriage made easy is, we have got to get back to yes. When we first started dating, how many of us would say yes, to just about anything that they wanted? Why did that stop? When did we rise above the "yes"? It's like saying yes, we somehow feel as though we are relinquishing power. We're not. We're actually reinforcing it. Yes is a powerful affirmation that say's we're united. I have sat with hundreds of couples over the course of the years, and it seemed like yes wasn't even in their vocabulary. We've got to get back to yes. And while there is no proper ratio to saying yes, I believe saying yes, should be the majority. It's impossible to put a number on it. But if I were, I would say 3 to 1....just thinking out loud in real time.
So what am I saying?  There are literally thousands of ways to make marriage easy. Relationships too. The point that I am making is, do them. And do them without delay. We over complicate things. We make up stories in our heads, as if we know what the other person is thinking. {Long term relationship...yes, we get it right many times. But to not talk about it and get it wrong is a rookie mistake.} And please never be above the apology either. And remember, the relationship is not about who is right. It's about what is right.
So get back to basics. And if you can, you too will find a marriage made easy.

How to boost your credit score in 7 easy steps
Tumblr media
If you want to boost your credit score, you’re going to need to get familiar with your credit report and figure out where you’re making mistakes (if you are indeed making any at all). Once you have that information, it should be much easier to move forward on the right path toward higher credit scores! Here are seven tips to help you boost your credit score in no time at all.
1: Check your score
Your starting point is checking your credit score. It will provide you with an overview of what’s happening with all three major bureaus and show you where there are opportunities for improvement. You can check each bureau individually or get a free snapshot from Credit Karma, which offers quick access to a wide range of information. While some people might be tempted to just go straight for a free credit report, keep in mind that it won’t be very detailed and won’t give you much context about how one factor affects another—for example, why certain collections on one bureau don’t have any effect on another—so it won’t tell you much more than here are your scores
2: Pay off debt
One of your best bets for improving your credit score is by paying off debt. The more utilization you have, or how much you owe versus how much credit you have available, the lower your score. If you pay off a $4,000 balance and cut down on utilization from 60 percent to 20 percent, for example, it will improve your score by 100 points or more—and that’s a great start on boosting your FICO. No matter what type of debt you have (credit cards, medical bills, student loans), an effective strategy might be taking care of one account at a time as you build up your ability to make larger payments. Make sure every dollar counts when repaying creditors; also consider taking advantage of opportunities to negotiate terms with them so they aren’t sending notices threatening legal action.
3: Don’t open too many new cards
Opening too many new credit cards at once is a bad idea. Your debt-to-credit ratio (or DTI) will be too high and you risk lowering your credit score, which can make it more difficult to buy a house or even rent an apartment. In addition, opening several new accounts within a short period of time may trigger an investigation from one or all three major credit bureaus. This could lead to hard inquiries on your reports and possibly hurt your score further. If you’re going to open multiple new accounts, spread them out over a couple of months—ideally 6-12 months—so they don’t show up as multiple hits on your report(s). And remember: Always pay off credit card balances in full each month so that carrying debt doesn’t become an issue for you!
4: Stay on top of bills
If you want a good credit score, you’ll need to stay on top of bill payments. Miss one payment and be sure that it will take years for you to recover—even if you pay all of your other bills right on time. Paying bills on time and keeping debt low are essential factors of healthy credit history. But many people don’t understand how they impact their scores. Fortunately, it’s easy to learn how you can improve your credit standing by making simple changes:
(1) Keep an eye on due dates;
(2) Pay as much as possible;
(3) Never charge more than 30% of total available credit;
(4) Take care with opening new accounts;
(5) Don’t close existing accounts unless absolutely necessary.
These sound like basic financial tips, but most people have little trouble executing them well! To boost your score by 50 points or more you’ll need to make a few bigger changes. Do yourself a favor and follow these four pieces of advice:
(1) Keep credit card balances under 30% of available credit;
(2) Make sure at least one account has been open for 6 months;
(3) Have no inquiries from new creditors within last 6 months;
(4) Keep the amount of newly opened accounts to a minimum each year.
Tumblr media
5: Ask for a higher limit
Applying for a small credit limit is one of the quickest ways to shoot yourself in the foot when it comes to building or boosting your credit score.
Why?
Because it’s an easy way for banks and other lenders to see you as a risky candidate. That’s because, if you have a low limit on an account — especially an installment loan such as a mortgage — then it makes lenders think that you’re not responsible enough with money.
6: Get a secured card
A secured card is a great way to boost your credit score quickly because of its safe nature. With a secured card, you deposit money into an account, and that amount becomes your limit—meaning you aren’t racking up interest. If you make on-time payments for 12 months, it will help build trust with creditors, which is why getting a new card can help your standing immensely. Most secured cards don’t charge annual fees, either! Best of all: No one will know about it but you! Need more advice? See our full guide on how to boost your credit score.
7: Keep an eye on new accounts
New accounts, or inquiries, have a disproportionate impact on your credit score. When you apply for a loan, car or even a new cell phone contract, a hard inquiry will appear on your credit report for that account. Too many inquiries can lower your overall credit score because it appears as if you’re desperate for financing (which isn’t good).
For every new account you open up, you should plan on waiting at least 6 months before applying for another one. This will make sure inquiries don’t damage your score and give you time to pay off balances from previous accounts so they do not become delinquent. It’s also important to remember; if you close an account with a balance due and then reapply for that same line of credit within 5 years, it is viewed as opening up a new account and not just replacing old debt with new debt – so only close lines of credit when absolutely necessary.

what the hell is that: this survey asked people, mainly from our following, which members of the dream SMP (current and past members, not limited to streamers) they had a crush on. multiple responses were encouraged within reason, and the form garnered 878 responses before being closed after about three hours.
this results breakdown will focus on two main categories: total simpage and simps per capita, broken down in a few different ways. while all members have a twitch/youtube, several only have one or the other, so categories will be further subdivided by platform.
greatest overall simpage
this is simple. who got the biggest number: this is just raw response reading! percentages were rounded to the nearest tenth.
highest simpage
Wilbur Soot, 175 votes / 20.6% of the vote
Nihachu, 76 votes / 8.9% of the vote
Quackity, 57 votes / 6.7% of the vote
and here's some fun % of votes stats!
simpage (ever dyed hair): 190 votes / 22% of the vote; 20% of the DSMP (6 people)
been on BBH's hot wings streams: 200 votes / 23.5% of the vote; 20% of the server (6 people)
never changed skin (actually): 56 votes / 6.6% of the vote; 10% of the DSMP (3 people)
never changed username: 267 votes / 31.5% of the vote; 30% of the server (10 people)
hair dye + hot wingers are overrepresented in simps, whereas unchanged minecrafters are underrepresented.
simps per capita
this was calculated by dividing simps by following on twitch and subscribers on youtube, then multiplying by 100,000 and rounded down to get an x simps per 100,000 people for easier conceptualization.
highest twitch SPC
Technoblade, 91 simps per 100,000
Wilbur Soot, 51 simps per 100,000
FoolishGamers__, 43 simps per 100,000
slimecicle followed closely with 40 simps per 100,000!
highest youtube SPC
ItsAlyssa, 421 simps per 100,000
CaptainPuffy, 247 simps per 100,000
Eret, 137 simps per 100,000
highest SPC in either category
ItsAlyssa, 421 simps per 100,000 (YouTube)
CaptainPuffy, 247 simps per 100,000 (YouTube)
Eret, 131 simps per 100,000 (YouTube)
highest average SPC
CaptainPuffy, 141 simps per 100,000
Eret, 89 simps per 100,000
FoolishGamers__, 87 simps per 100,000
other exciting stats, charts, and observations
simpage of note:
vikkstar and lazarbeam are sitting pretty at the very bottom, tied with 0 voters!
dream has the worst simps:subs ratio at an average 1.68 simps per 100,000!
alyssa has by far the lowest following (7,120 YT subs) but the highest SPC (421)!
Tumblr media
here's a pair of fun charts that show the positive correlation between following and simps! the twitch chart has a correlation of .41 and the youtube chart has a correlation of .2, both weak but still strong enough to count. (quick refresher: this doesn't refer to the slope of the line of best fit, but how close each point is to the line of best fit.)
Tumblr media
here's another fun chart showing a downward trend in simps by age. correlation coefficient is -.18, which is low correlation.
Tumblr media
this pair of charts are 2 connections between following and simpage. the first is average following (avg of twitch + youtube) and simps to remind that more followers=more raw simps. the second is following vs SPC, showing moderate correlation (-.36) between low following and high SPC, implying that people prefer unpopular creators. however...
smaller followings are favored because the simp results were much closer to each other than the competitors' respective followings (ex. schlatt and karl jacobs, who are tied for simpage but are over 1.5mil apart in twitch following). one person in a group of 10 is a much larger proportion of the group than the same person in a group of 10 million. additionally, youtube numbers are very skewed due to the fact that very few dsmp members have an active presence there, at least when not compared to their twitch channel. not every fan follows their fav's youtube channel. i believe highest average SPC is the most accurate, because it weeds out those who just had good ratios. however basically no SPC counts are good at all! not enough people were surveyed for accurate conclusions at this degree of specificity.
conclusion:
more followers=more simps, obviously. less followers=higher SPC. people don't tend to favor older people or those who haven't changed their mc branding. however, people really like dyed hair and people that have been in bad's hot wing streams. huh. doing that must make you really sexy or something! basically...
people like style, people like adventurousness, but above all else, people really fucking like wilbur soot!

summary: trying to pass the time, you decide to treat heeseung for being a good boyfriend while you're at work.

you and heeseung worked part time at the same cafe. since you were dating, you rarely got to work the same shifts. however, during the weekends, if either of you ever had to cover for anyone, the manager allowed it.
today happened to be one of those days that you were working together.
there wasn't much of an influx of customers. it was noon and everyone was mostly busy having lunch. neither of you had much to do other than wait until someone walked in through the door.
you were starting to get bored and the only person around to annoy was heeseung. so you walked over to him and wrapped your arms around his neck, clinging onto him like a koala. heeseung laughed and held you loosely. "what are you doing?"
your answer was simple. "hugging you."
heeseung sighed and let you stay like that for a while. he then patted your back and tried to push you away. "okay, that's enough. you can let go now."
shaking your head, you hugged him even tighter. "babe i know you love me but you need to stop. your affection isn't worth risking my job."
you gasped, feigning offence and looked up at him. "who asked you to get a job here then?"
heeseung rolled his eyes. "if i hadn't gotten a job here, we wouldn't have met dummy."
you smiled and pulled his head down, planting a heavy kiss on his lips. heeseung struggled against your strong grip. it was only until the door opened that you let go of him.
a pretty lady walked in, taking off her sunglasses as she approached the counter. heeseung stood by the cashier to take her order while you stood off to the side to prepare it. she glanced at you, and then your boyfriend, smirking at him. you narrowed your eyes, knowing exactly what was about to happen.
this was your least favourite part about working with heeseung. he was good looking, so the manager made him take the orders. it was a terrible but effective marketing technique. they way he smiled at the customers and let them flirt with him always made your blood boil. you knew he had no choice. that's why you directed your anger towards the customer.
you watched the way she flipped her long, shiny hair over her shoulder and licked her plump lips. heeseung, being the respectful man he was, kept his eyes on the computer and only looked at her when he needed to confirm her order.
while you busied yourself with making her white mocha latte, you listened to their conversation. naturally, the first question she asked him was if he was single. a smile crept onto your face when he told her he was taken. since she called you a lucky girl, you made sure to add enough sugar to her drink. heeseung changed the topic of conversation to the weather. it was hot out. he let her know that she had done well by choosing an icy drink. but then she made the mistake of saying that she regretted wearing so many layers and that all she wanted to do was strip. so you increased the ice to water ratio as punishment. heeseung changed the topic again to something boring like sales. she obviously understood nothing he was saying and all she could do was hum and nod. you quickly finished up her drink and gave it to her, wishing her a good day ahead. while she walked away, you muttered under your breath in irritancy.
heeseung laughed and patted your back. "i hope her retributions weren't too severe."
you shrugged. "depends on what you consider severe." turning to him, you placed a hand on his chest. "let me suck your dick."
"what?" heeseung was caught off guard. he blinked and stared at you. "here? now?"
you nodded and palmed his crotch. heeseung gasped but made no effort to move away from you or stop your hand.
"but what about the cameras," he asked, sounding unsure?
"we might end up on a porn site but honestly, i don't care."
you unbuttoned his pants and pulled his zip down, taking his cock out of his boxers. everything was happening so fast that heeseung could barely react. but he let out a very hearty groan when dropped to your knees and took him in your mouth. he held onto the counter, watching in awe as you began bobbing your head over his cock.
the front door opened again, this time one of your colleagues walked in. it was jay. heeseung's eyes widened in horror. he stood up straight, glancing down at you in panic when you showed no signs of stopping.
"hey man, are you okay," jay asked, noticing the stoic expression on heeseung's usually happy face? he nodded frantically. "yeah i'm fine."
seeing that jay was about to come behind the counter, heeseung lunged forward. "wait! you don't, have to work today."
jay raised a brow. "why not?"
"y/n and i've got it covered," he said.
"okay but what am i supposed to do then," jay asked, looking around in confusion?
heeseung fished for his wallet, slipping out some money, and slid it over to jay. "how about you take jake out for a movie or something, my treat? you don't have to pay me back."
jay seemed astonished. it wasn't everyday that his coworker covered his shift and rewarded him for it. he smiled and thanked heeseung. "all right then. i'll give jake a call. enjoy your day i guess." and with that, it was just the two of you again.
meanwhile, you continued sucking heeseung off like his life depended on it. now that no one was there, you could clearly make out the loud slurps and gargles you emitted as you sped up. heeseung hissed and leaned back against the counter. "slow down babe, we've got all the time in the world."
you pulled your mouth off his member and pumped his cock, staring up at him with a smirk. "i never agreed to working two shifts you dimwit."
heeseung tsked. "well that's too bad. now you're stuck here with me for another hour so i suggest you make the most of it."
"oh i will," you said, bringing your mouth back to his cock again.
you licked at his tip teasingly. heeseung whined and pushed his hips into your face. "going slow doesn't mean you get to tease me."
so you did as he wished, taking things nice and slow. heeseung hummed in delight and bucked his hips into your mouth occasionally. there was something so relaxing about the whole ordeal. you usually liked to go fast, especially while going down on him. but this was nice too.
thankfully, no customers showed up for another twenty minutes. by that time, heeseung was close to his high. instead of shaky breaths, he let out low grunts. you sped up again, wanting nothing more than to taste his cum. it seemed that both of you had totally forgotten about the security cameras in the cafe. if someone was to play them back and see what you were up to, it would be enough for you to lose your jobs.
"fuck i'm gonna cum," heeseung warned, mere seconds before his cock twitched in your mouth. thick ropes of his seed spurt out against your tongue, the salty taste making you moan. heeseung cursed as he emptied himself in your mouth, letting out a sigh of relief once he was done. you swallowed and cleaned him up with your tongue, standing back up again with a giddy smile. "i can't believe we got away with that," you said while he stuffed his cock back in his pants. he went to the sink to wash his hands. "you're so in for it when he get home."

ok I wanted to clear my head before posting something about the wilds fandom's fiasco
I just think we need to take a step back and try to understand where people are coming from. so as a fan who really doesn't want to see boys in the show, I'll try to explain why it felt such a big deal for some of us.
1) "we knew all along boys would be involved. why is it a surprise for you all? it's literally the plot of the show":
we actually didn't know boys were involved before the very last seconds of episode 10. and even then, I personally thought it would be a footnote in season 2 or something. I watched the show because it was a girl ensemble (and I think a lot of us watched it for that reason), and because I was interested in their interpersonal relationships. I didn't go in thinking "oh nice! I hope they'll do a boy experiment next!". I really thought this story was about teenage girls and their trauma, and not young people in general. I mean, they marketed it this way. So we have reasons to feel feel disappointed when season 2 sounds like a whole different show, and is marketed like a whole different show too.
I really didn't care about the experiment part of the plot tbh... like... I thought it was incredibly dumb and I didn't buy it for a second and I think the show could have stood on its own without the whole experiment. This is also why I don't see the need to add men, especially if the argument is "but Gretchen needs a control group!". Gretchen doesn't need anything because she's dumb and her experiment has 0 scientific value. You want to talk sociology? because I'd love to! What Gretchen needs is some ethics for starters. She also needs to be peer reviewed, something she obviously doesn't care to. Gretchen most of all needs fucking quantitative data please!!!! taking 8 random american girls to prove... whatever she wants to prove is the dumbest thing I've seen in YEARS. Finally, if Gretchen really needs a control group, then it's not a boy control group. It's 8 troubled girls of the same age / same origins staying at home in their environement, to see how they fare within a patriarchal society. It's 8 non-traumatized girls on an island, it's 8 boys and girls together at home or on an island, it's 8 girls in therapy, and it's also 8 trans girls and trans guys. Adding boys was a choice, not an obligation, and I don't think it will make the plot better, especially if it's at the expanse of the girls' screetime.
2) "the fans who don't want to see boys are as bad as Gretchen":
I don't want to see boys on that show because men are already everywhere and I'm scared they will take the girls' screentime. I wouldn't care if we didn't live in a patriarchal society with a 50/50 ratio of screentime all the time. Sadly, that's not the case so I'm kinda bitter that the attention will be stolen from the girls story, especially after it was advertised this way.
If the fandom really "hated men" like some of you implied, then we would have hated on the several men who are in the show already. I've never seen any hate directed towards Quinn, Ian, Alex, Thom and even Young. Faber, Jeff and Dave Goodkind are another story but the hate is well deserved.
So yeah, I don't know how expressing disappointment seeing a girl-centric show slowly becoming not girl-centric is the same as Gretchen, literally putting 8 girls through severe trauma AND physical danger to prove that women are better than men... I'm kinda confused
3) "the fans who don't want to see boys are hurting the actors' feelings":
I want to clarify that I'm not talking about hate directed towards the actors. I personally haven't seen anyone do it, but in any case, it isn't ok.
That being said, I really hope that those actors know how to separate criticism towards a show / their characters and criticism towards them personally. There's nothing personal about not wanting boys on this show lmao! I don't even know who the actors are and I don't care tbh. It's a job, like they're paid to do what's on the script, they have no leverage about what's written or not written.
Like... look at it this way: my job is to write bills and draft legislative texts. And it's political, of course, and a lot of people have a lot to say about those texts, more often than not, bad things. But I don't take it personally!! I didn't take the decision of passing the bill, I'm just here to follow orders and do what people above me tell me to do. and when people have valid criticism, I listen and I think about it because critical thinking is important and you shouldn't always do what you're told to do! like I can't do anything about it if I don't wanna lose my job, but I can at least know it's not ok.
we're not angry at the actors. we're angry at Amazon / possibly the writers depending on the artistic freedom they have. Thinking the actors are sad because we don't want men is as ludicrous for me as feeling sad because people didn't like the bill I worked on. It's nice when you work on something you agree with, but the decisions isn't yours anyway...
I'm honestly happy for the people who are excited about the boys. I mean good for you! But you can try to understand why so many of us are feeling down about this news. It's called empathy, what I believe this show is fundamentally about. The insane plot is just the coating. The best part of the cake is the girls caring about each other. Maybe we could try applying that to ourselves?

Nara, what notebook should a fountain pen noobie like myself buy if not Moleskine? I just bought a Moleskine from Barnes and Nobles but I have not used it yet. Should I return it?
First off, I am always so fucking giddy to answer pen/notebook related questions as;jdahskjdn
Tumblr media
My sweet summer child, thank you for coming to me with your query. I shall endeavor to assist you in your fountain-pen paper journey!
To answer your second question first: yes. Return the Moleskine. This comes from someone who used them for YEARS (and I still do, because people keep gifting them to me, and I'm not about to say no to free notebooks, even if they are shit and make a $500 fountain pen write like a piping bag spilling motor oil onto cotton).
But don't despair! There is more out there -- more specifically, under the cut. Buckle up!
Now, to answer your first question, there are LOTS of options for great fountain pen friendly notebooks out there! I have not tried them all, but I have tried a few, and here are five of my favourites:
1. Leuchtturm 1917
If you want the general aesthetic of a Moleskine but none of the atrociously bad paper, this would be my firs rec. They are my go-tos for daily writing (and I have about a million of them, pocket-sized!), and the paper is great. There might be a hint of ghosting depending on your nib and ink combo, but I've had no bleeding or feathering whatsoever, even when I use my gushy broad nibs.
2. Rhodia WebNotebook/ Any other Rhodia notebook/writing pad
The WebNotebook also shares some elements with that Moleskine look that is so clean -- but it comes with paper that is at least 2387 times better. I did the math. In fact, any Rhodia notebook or writing pad is a solid choice. I use a massive Rhodia dot pad to test out all of my inks, and that paper be smooth AF; like almost glassy smooth. That may mean longer drying times, but frankly, it's not that big a difference, and ink just shows really well on it (including cool sheening/shading/shimmering!)
See also: Clairefontaine (especially their art déco collection!), they use the same paper as Rhodia, iirc!
3. Maruman Mnemosyne
OK, this is legitimately one of my favourites -- the paper is astounding. It's the right combination of texture and smoothness, and it's just a delight to write with. It's not as easily available in my area as the Leuchtturm (which I can find pretty much anywhere), and aesthetically the covers can be kind of boring but utilitarian (and that is a very minor point against it, because again, that paper is phenomenal).
4. Any Tomoe River Notebook
OK, hear me out -- several retailers have their own notebooks made with Tomoe River paper, so aesthetically there is great variation here. This paper is very well-loved in the fountain pen community, and for good reason -- this stuff shows ink properties better than anything else I've seen around. You want to see subtle shading on some run-of-the mill blue ink? Tomoe River. You want to see the full shimmering power of Emeraude de Chivor? Tomoe River. You want to see the frankly ridiculous sheen of Organics Studio Nitrogen? Tomoe. River. Every ink I have ever swatched has been catalogued on Tomoe River paper.
The one kind of major point against Tomoe River imo is that it do be thin. Like. Super duper thin. You'll inevitably get some ghosting, particularly with darker inks and wetter nibs. It's also super smooth, so be prepared for some extra drying time. It can also be the most expensive out of the bunch!
5. Archer & Olive journals
Here's something a little bit different than the rest. A&O has some devastatingly pretty notebooks, and their paper is solid -- I've had no ghosting to speak of, and only a bit of feathering (in a super duper gushy pen using a super duper wet ink with multiple passes). It has just a little bit of texture (less than the Maruman), but it is a heavier paper; the heaviest and thickest out of the bunch here. They're also all vegan, iirc and if that matters to you, though I am not sure if they have a great variety of sizes -- I don't remember ever seeing anything pocket-sized the last time I browsed their store. They can also be a little pricey, but imo, they are worth it (especially if we're comparing the Moleskine price/quality ratio...)
There you go! I hope this helps you find what you're looking for. I recommend browsing JetPens and even the fountain pen subreddit for some more ideas -- these are just some that I've tried and always come back to, but there is a ton more out there!
The next time you see that tantalizing colourful Moleskine rack, you say "Not today, Satan," and keep on walking.
