Test of Love

Chapter One
Summary: Day in and day out, your routine has been exactly the same as a jujutsu sorcerer. You can't complain, honestly. You just wish things were a little more interesting. When you get propositioned by two men, you have no choice but to see what they have going on. Joining a relationship would spice things up, wouldn't it?
A/N: I've had this idea loosely floating around my brain for a bit. Fret not, my short fics will continue but I wanted to write this too. I hope you enjoy it! Thank you!
CW: Slight blood, there's no smut this chapter W/C: 5,560

‘The clouds part, a ray of sunlight shining down on the pair.’
Your eyes glide over the page, fingers strumming the back of the book.
“What’re you reading?” Gojo’s voice startles you from the scene you had built in your head based on the words in front of you.
You jump in your seat, turning to see him leaning against your desk. It was no surprise he was here, he often came and went whenever he pleased. But he could have at least knocked.
“A Trial of Lovers.” You respond, bringing your eyes back to the words in front of you.
“Sounds boring.”
You hum, intent on not paying him any mind. Gojo could be a handful, but he wasn’t that hard to manage once you got to know him. You just learned to tune him out.
“Why aren’t you paying attention to your students? Reckless of you.” He continues.
Maybe you wouldn’t be able to ignore him.
“They’re just studying today.” You say, turning the page.
The room is quiet besides the two of you, the four students either glued to their textbooks or watching the interaction unfold in front of them.
“A book can be a weapon. And you have a very talented weapon user in case you were unaware.”
“Salmon.” Inumaki agrees. He always did like stirring up trouble.
“What if she tries to kill Yuuta with it?” Gojo says, clearly trying to get a rouse out of you.
“Maki, are you gonna try killing Yuuta with your textbook?” You ask, keeping your eyes trained down.
“Not unless he pisses me off.”
“What?” Yuuta responds.
You look up at Gojo and smile.
“Yuuta’s harmless, he wouldn’t piss her off so I think we’re good.”
“Harmless? I wouldn’t call him that.” Gojo responds.
“Where are your students?” You accuse.
He was much more lax with his, often leaving them to fend for themselves when he went on missions. You couldn’t say you blamed him. It wasn’t like he had much of a choice, but still.
“I sent them out to take care of a second grade. They’ll be fine, Megumi is with them.”
You clear your throat, eyes focused on the book in front of you even though you were no longer reading.
“He’s still a child.” Even as you speak, your nerves feel more at ease. If you were to trust any of the students, it would be Megumi. Even if that was the case, you still thought they shouldn’t be left alone. Gojo trusted Megumi which was good, but it bugged you that he may have trusted him a bit too much. Even the greatest sorcerers make mistakes, much less ones that were under 18.
“And Nobara is just as, if not more violent than Maki. What if she kills Yuuji?” You knew she wouldn’t.
“She wouldn’t do that.” Gojo responds slyly.
You slap your book closed and set it on the desk in front of you.
“What do you want, Gojo?”
Your eyes flick across his body. His blindfold was on like usual, his ensemble completely put together as it always was. You would pay to see him look unprepared.
“Are you busy after school?” He smiles, his body relaxed as he stares down at you.
This was something he always did. Flirt with you, while you ignored his advances. It was the nature of your friendship, it didn’t bother you so much as it might bother someone else.
“Class, you guys can leave early.” You announce, smiling as you watch them hop out of the room.
You stand up and face Gojo again. He was wearing a cocky grin, no doubt waiting for your response. He thought you would say yes, even though you denied him every time. You weren’t opposed to going out with him, there were just other factors in the mix.
“Gojo, in case you forgot you have a boyfriend.”
Gojo huffs and leans back even more, seemingly prepared for your rejection.
“I didn’t forget. We’re trying something new. Open relationship. He gets to see who he wants and I can see who I want.”
The response stuns you a bit. He had never mentioned that before. The offer seemed more appealing at his revelation. You had fun with Gojo, and he was good looking. You just didn’t want to be the reason he was kicked on the streets.
It seems he knows that he’s wearing you down, his grin showing back up.
“Come on, let’s just go for a walk around the park. Promise I don’t bite. Unless you’re into that, of course.”
An image conjures up in your mind before you can stop it. One where he’s on top of you, mouth open as he nibbles on your neck. You shake your head, trying to rid the naughty thought as best as you could. You awkwardly chuckle and grab your things, following him out the door. A walk would be harmless, wouldn’t it?
The weather graced you today it seems, as clear skies shine above you and an acceptable temperature wraps around your body. You were at a park near the school, one that had lots of families and several street vendors.
You actually were hungry. And Gojo being Gojo decided to jump at the opportunity to buy something sweet, assuring you that he would buy your food as well.
While you wait, you find a lonely bench sitting in the middle of the park. It’s surrounded by large trees, trees much older than you. It’s refreshing to be out of the school for once. You can’t remember the last time you spent a normal day out in society.
You loved your job, but it could be exhausting at times.
“Order up!” Gojo’s cheery voice interrupts your thoughts.
He’s holding two crepes. One with fruit, the other with chocolate.
“We can share if you want.” He says, holding the fruit one out to you, mouth darting out to bite into his.
You smile up at him and grab the treat, eyes flicking over the colors that lit up the food. When you take a bite you taste berries melting with whip cream, the flavor swirling around your mouth.
“This is really good Gojo, thank you.”
He offers a serene smile as he takes another bite of his crepe while sitting next to you. Chocolate decorates his lip and you giggle in response. He almost looked childish. It suited him, in a way. People might say he was immature, which wouldn’t really be wrong, but a part of you knew he grew up too fast.
You make idle chatter as you watch families fill in the park. You spent so much time around sorcerers, you often forgot what it was like to be near normal people. Their carefree attitudes lit up your heart, putting your mind at ease.
This is what you’re doing it for, this is why you fight. You remind yourself as you watch a toddler topple over before getting right back up, a grin across his face.
“It’s weird, right?” You find yourself saying.
You haven’t finished your crepe yet, but Gojo has been done with his for awhile; focusing on the brown syrup that muddled his fingers.
He hums as he licks his finger, looking up in front of him.
“The families. The smiles. The people.”
You don’t have to elaborate, Gojo knows exactly what you mean. Sorcerers rarely have families and rarely smile. Their lifestyles were much different than yours. Your stomach turns as you wait for his response.
“Yeah, I mean I guess so. It’s not much weirder than sorcerers.”
You didn’t really expect him to feel the same way as you. He may look like an average man, but he wasn’t. While you couldn’t relate to average people, he couldn’t relate to anyone. Not people or sorcerers.
Lonely, you thought. You wonder if the feeling keeps him up late at night.
“Thank you for taking me out. This is nice.” You settle, attempting to divert your attention from the macabre.
Gojo leans back, kicking his long legs out in front of him. His arms spread out on the bench, head facing the sky. He always took up so much space, not that you minded. You figured the world was too small for him, so you didn’t mind making more room.
“It is, isn’t it?”
You offer up a bite of your crepe which he gladly accepts, swallowing before saying he preferred his more.
“I actually had something I wanted to bring up. You’ll learn about it later in the next meeting, but I figured I’d tell you now.”
Your head perks up in interest, your attention completely on him.
“There’s been a slew of random attacks at the school.”
The words sink in your chest, creating a pool in your stomach. The school? That was your sacred place. Your home. It was all you had.
“The school? I haven’t heard anything.”
“Not really at the school, more so around it. They’ve been happening at frequent intervals the past week all within 5 miles of the school. It’s all been small attacks. But it definitely is something. One wouldn’t be a big deal, but with the amount that’s been happening… someone is definitely targeting Jujutsu High. Not enough to actually destroy it but enough to peak our interest.”
As much as you hated to admit it, he was right. It wouldn’t have mattered if it only happened a couple of times, but there was a pattern. Someone was clearly focusing on the school.
“What does it mean?”
Gojo taps his foot, his head in the clouds. If anyone knew what it was about, it would be him.
“I’m not sure. It’s been relatively easy to handle so far. I’m just worried about the fact it draws our attention away. The more people we send out to watch the border means the less available sorcerers we’ll have. I don’t like it.”
He rarely sounds serious, but you’re able to pick up on the dark underlying tone in the way he’s talking right now. He didn’t seem too stressed out, maybe inconvenienced at best. It wasn’t like there was much you could do at the current moment anyway.
You finish your crepe, the mood dramatically shifting after the conversation. You hate to see Gojo like this, his mind swarmed with thoughts and unable to focus on anything else.
“So, tell me about your boyfriend.”
Gojo raises his head and looks at you, one of his eyebrows shooting up.
“Weird thing to bring up on a date.”
You scoff and nudge your foot against his.
“If I’m gonna be apart of this I wanna know more about you.”
Gojo’s eyes flick up as if in deep thought. You didn’t know much about his boyfriend. He and Gojo were longtime friends, having gone to Jujutsu High together. Over the years you learned he was the more responsible of the two. You also learned about his cursed technique. Rare and strong, curse manipulation. You were intrigued by the idea. Using what you fight against to help you, it was nothing short of incredible.
“He’s nice. Almost too nice. He understands people more than me. Really strong too. A bit stern.”
You keep your gaze focused on the side of Gojo’s face. You don’t spend much time looking at him normally, so you take advantage of the closeness you have right now to appreciate him. His white eyelashes flutter as he looks at the sky, bright pink lips parted as he speaks.
Handsome, he was so very handsome.
As the two of you were in public he decided to forego his blindfold and instead use a pair of sunglasses. His hair lay messy atop his head, but it still looked good.
He cracks a grin as he notices you staring.
“See something you like?”
You quickly turn forward, the act of being caught embarrassing you. The only thing worse than an attractive man was a man who was attractive and knew it.
“He sounds nice. Nicer than you.” You say, hoping to annoy him.
Instead, Gojo lets out a quiet sigh.
“He is.”
It was odd to see him like this. Gojo cared for people, he wasn’t a robot, but he rarely admired them. With the few conversations you had with him you were able to tell he admired his boyfriend, he really loved him.
Your lips part as you start to ask Gojo what his boyfriend's name was, but his phone cuts you off.
Gojo clicks his tongue and looks down, noting a text from Yaga.
“Can’t even leave for a few hours.” He complains under his breath.
You know he’s trying to put on a show, but you can’t help but feel bad. He was right. He never had time to himself, always being forced into doing something or the other for the higher ups. His life wasn’t truly his own.
Your relationship with Gojo was complicated. You liked to tease him, but deep down you knew he always got the shit end of the stick.
You stand up, swiping your hands on your pants. It was starting to get hot out, your hair sticking to your neck.  You reach a hand out to Gojo, wordlessly offering help.
He smirks at your hand, looking over the top of his glasses.
“Cute.”
You tear your hand away, not wanting to give him the satisfaction if he was just going to tease you.
“Hey! What if I need help getting up?”
“Stand up yourself, worlds strongest sorcerer.” You mumur, stepping away to start walking towards the school.
Gojo whines behind you before jumping up, jogging towards you. The rest of the walk goes by fast, the both of you teasing each other back and forth. One of the good things about Gojo, although there were many (not that you would admit it), was that he was incredibly fun to talk to. As long as you were in the mood, of course.
Your body chills when you step inside the school. The air conditioning soothes your skin the second you get inside.
“You’re back.” Yaga says, looking down, shuffling papers back and forth.
“Sadly.” Gojo responds.
“What were you two up to?”
“A date.” Gojo says confidently.
You train your face to say neutral but you feel your blood simmer. You weren’t exactly planning on telling Yaga, but of course Gojo wouldn’t keep it to himself.
“And Geto?” Yaga asks.
Geto. That was Gojo’s boyfriend's name. His last name anyway. You wanted to know what his first name was, that’s what you were planning on asking before Yaga texted.
“He’s aware.”
Yaga heaves out a breath, used to Gojos antics by now. Anything that could be weird by someone else’s standards was considered normal if Gojo was the one doing it.
“I need you to finish this paperwork before going home tonight. And don’t make someone else do it for you.” Yaga hands you both a stack of papers, aiming the last half of the sentence to Gojo.
You knew it wouldn’t take you long, as long as Gojo didn’t attempt to get you to do his for him. Even if he asked nicely you were going to refuse. You had plans tonight. You needed to go to the book store to get the second book to the one you were reading this morning.
It takes you two hours and your fingers are sore by the time you’re done, but you manage to finish all your paperwork. Halfway through you had to lock Gojo out so you could focus. You had fun on your date, but tonight was your night. A man wasn’t going to get in the way of that.
~~~
You weren’t sure what happened to the weather. This morning when you were with Gojo it was bright and sunny, but now the sky was littered with clouds. You didn’t mind it, in fact you preferred it. When you were reading you much preferred for it to rain, finding it way more soothing.
The bookstore was empty today, except for a couple of people that hid out in the shelves. You liked it here. It made you feel somewhat normal. There were no sorcerers, curses, or villains here. Just books.
You had no plans for the rest of the night, besides having you time, so you decide to find the book you’re looking for to read there. There were chairs littered throughout the building, each soft and worn down after years of use.
Curling up on a chair, you open your book and dive into it. The words capture all your attention as you grip the front and back of the book. It’s much better than the first, you think. The author has such a way with words. You’re so engrossed you don’t notice a man approaching you.
He sits on the chair in front of yours, his own book nestled in his lap.
“That’s a good book,” he says.
You look up to find a man sitting in front of you. He looked perfect. There wasn’t flaw on his body.
Long black hair that was pulled up in a bun, caramel eyes trained on you as he wore a small smile.
Normally, you would be pissed off that someone was breaking the bookstore code ‘no talking’, but you weren’t. You were drawn in.
“It is.” You respond, trying to look away from him but finding yourself incapable.
“I love the author, I finished all his books so I was here looking for something else.”
You think you could listen to him speak forever, the way his voice rolls out from his lips causes your body to relax.
“Me too, once I finish this then I’ll be done.”
His smile spreads wider. Your stomach turns under his gaze.
“I’m afraid I haven’t found any stories as interesting as his.” He continues. “I really liked his use of butterflies in that book though. Very beautiful.”
You bite your lip and tear your eyes away if only for a second to gain control.
“Me too.”
He watches the way you fiddle with the book in your lap.
“My name is Suguru, what’s yours?”
You take a deep breath before telling him your name. Normal girls would be scared of a stranger talking to them, but you weren’t normal. You were sure if it came down to it you would be able to take care of him. After all, there were very few people stronger than you, and you were on a date with one of them earlier.
You weren’t scared of Suguru, you were captivated by him.
His smile morphs into something more calming after you speak. It sends fireworks off in your stomach.
“You have a lovely name.”
You clear your throat before darting your eyes away, unable to look at him any longer.
“Thank you.” You murmur, fiddling with your outfit.
After work you had gone home to switch clothes, wanting something more comfortable. You were glad you did, as the clothes you wore now were much more flattering. A loose sweater with yoga pants, perfect for lounging about while you read.
“I didn’t mean to interrupt you, I apologize. I just saw what you were reading.”
“It’s okay, is this your first time here? I’ve never seen you before.”
Suguru wets his bottom lip, and you have to pry your eyes away from it.
“It is. Normally I go to a bookstore in the next town over, but it’s under renovations so I decided to come here. It’s not far from my boyfriends work.”
Ah.
There it is.
You don’t know why you expected anything different. Part of you was hoping he might be hitting on you. You did go on a date with Gojo earlier, but it wasn’t anything serious.
“What do you do for work?” You ask.
“I’m a freelancer.”
Vague, you think.
“And you?”
There’s no way you can tell him you’re a jujutsu sorcerer so you settle on something close enough.
“I’m a teacher.”
“Noble, I like it.”
The rain beats down on the roof of the book store, water running down the windows making it hard to see outside. It’s calming, Suguru is calming. You keep your gaze focused on him as the two of you talk. At first you were almost intimidated, but you were slowly getting used to the heat of his gaze.
“I enjoyed the butterflies as well. It’s a shame we don’t have them around here. I’d love to watch them like they did in the book.” You say.
“It’s probably because of all the people. There are places you can go to see them, would you be interested?”
You pause and stare at him. Was that… A date invitation?
It wasn’t, there was no way.
Maybe he meant it in a friendly way.
“What about your boyfriend? I would love to, but I just want to make sure before I agree.”
You’d hate to get the wrong idea.
“He’ll be okay with it. I can ask though if you want me to.”
You fiddle with your shirt and watch as he pulls out his phone. Suguru types a quick message, not even a second later his phone vibrates with an answer.
He turns the screen towards you, letting you read the words.
Suguru: I’m gonna go on a date with this girl from the book store
Asshole: Alright
Asshole: Is she hot?
Suguru: She’s beautiful
Your heart stutters at the compliment, your curiosity slightly piqued at the name in his phone. Asshole? Maybe that wasn’t that weird.
“Would you be free tomorrow?” He asks while sliding his phone away.
“Yeah, as long as it’s after I get off.”
“Nice, I can pick you up or we can meet here?”
You trusted him, but you wanted to get to know him more before bringing him back to your house.
“Let’s meet here?”
“Okay. What’s your number?”
You give him your number and he shares his. It’s close to closing time once you finish so you decide to head home, the encounter with Suguru still fresh on your mind.
He seemed normal. Not in a bad way, but normal nonetheless. You mostly interacted with sorcerers, so going on a date with someone who wasn’t one felt weird. You wouldn’t have to be worried about work or anything else. You would be able to have average conversations.
You couldn’t wait.
~~~
You feel giddy when you wake up the next day. Your date would be later in the afternoon and you were having a hard time containing yourself. All you had to do was get by the day, which wouldn’t be hard. There was a small mission you had to take Inumaki and Panda on, but after that you would be free.
As you stood there you watched the two of them work, paying attention to their form so you could give pointers after. It donned on you how odd it really was.
If Suguru asked you what you did today were you supposed to tell him you fought monsters with a personified panda?
Yeah, you would have to keep that to yourself.
You would have been able to keep it all to yourself, that is until Panda accidentally scratches you with his paw, causing blood to leak from your cheek. You lecture him to pay attention to his surroundings as the red liquid pours from your face. It takes the rest of the ride home for it to stop bleeding, and the throbbing pain doesn’t go away. You were gonna have to figure out how to explain that to Suguru.
The second the work day is done, you’re rushing home to put together your outfit. Suguru didn’t tell you really what to wear, only advising that it should be something light as you would be spending time outside. You settle on a flowy dress that cut off above your knees, you actually felt cute.
You leave your house early, intent on arriving before Suguru to make a good impression. Unfortunately for you, it seems Suguru had the same plan.
You check your phone, you had arrived ten minutes early and Suguru was already leaning against the bookstore, looking comfortable as he slouches.
“I’m sorry! Were you waiting long?”
Suguru looks up from his phone at the sound of your voice. His eyes drag across your figure, the action making the hair on your neck stand on edge. Those eyes. Were you ever going to get used to them?
His lips quirk up in a small smile, putting his phone away. He was wearing a black shirt with black sweatpants, his hair half up, the top pinned behind his head.
“No, I just got here,”
You find that hard to believe.
“You look amazing.” He finishes.
You try to stave off the embarrassment, waving your hand. When Suguru walks up to you, you finally notice how huge he is. He was tall, with a structure that took your breath away.
You wonder what he did to stay in shape.
“What happened to your cheek?” His voice is dripping with concern, brows furrowed as he raises his hand up. His thumb brushes on the skin below your cut.
“Oh! Um, one of my students was a bit reckless today. It didn’t hurt all that much.”
His eyes dance across your face, digesting your answer before dropping his hand. He looked genuinely concerned. It was cute. He must’ve been the protective type.
“I see. I’m sorry that happened.” He sounds remorseful even though he wasn’t the one to cause it. “Are you ready?”
And with that the two of you set off. Suguru told you he was showing you a place with butterflies, and you weren’t quite sure what he meant by that. Excitement bubbles in your veins as you walk.
The entire time he spoke you couldn’t help but put all your undivided attention on him. He was magnetizing. A natural born speaker, you thought.
Suguru must notice your silence as he stops himself from talking.
“My bad, I’m rambling.”
“No! Not at all. I like listening, you have a soothing voice.”
“Well thank you.” Pink dust settles on his cheeks.
As you inch closer to your destination, your fingers brush against his, the movement causing your heart to race.
Would it be weird to ask him if you could hold his hand?
“We’re here.” Suguru stops in front of a building. It was a bit unassuming, grey concrete walls and few windows.
There were butterflies here?
Suguru notices your expression and chuckles.
“Trust me.”
You can’t find it in your heart to doubt him.
He leads you inside, walking up to the front desk where a middle aged woman is standing by a computer. Her eyes are kind, hands weathered as she types.
“Can we get two tickets for the observatory?”
You fidget behind Suguru, appreciating the length of his hair cascading down his back.
You kind of wanted to touch it.
“Of course! Here you go sweetheart.” The lady digs around, grabbing two tickets while Suguru pulls out cash.
The exchange is over as soon as it started, and Suguru is leading you down a long hallway. When he pushes the doors open at the end of it, you’re greeted by fresh air, a short path leading to a giant glass dome. It’s hard to see on the inside of it, but it looks like it’s filled with plants.
“Let’s go.” He says with a grin, reaching his hand out towards you.
Your heart skips a beat at the gesture. You grab his hand, interlacing your fingers together. He’s warm. His palm the perfect mix between soft and calloused. His long fingers don’t get past your attention either. Suguru pulls you along to the dome, holding the door open for you.
When you step inside you’re hit with an overwhelming fragrance. It smelled like a mix between soil and flowers, the sweet scent covering you completely.
It’s nothing short of amazing. There’s plants everywhere, you had never been to a jungle before but you were sure this is what it would look like.
“Suguru, this is…”
“Look!” He urges, pointing up.
You snap your head up, following the direction of his finger. Above you was a small colony of monarch butterflies, maybe twenty of them flying around. They were low enough that you were able to appreciate the brightness of their wings, orange hues darting around as they flew.
Your lips part in amazement and you’re unable to tear your gaze away. You were sure you had never seen anything this beautiful before.
“Amazing, right?”
Suguru’s smooth voice floats over to you, snapping you back to him. When you turn around to look at him, his eyes are already on you. His mouth is spread in a soft grin, eyes twinkling as he looks down at you.
“This is perfect, Suguru. How did you find this place?”
“After I read the book we were talking about I just had to know what it felt like to be surrounded by butterflies so I did some digging and found it. I come here every so often, although it’s been awhile since I have. I figured it would be more fun if I brought someone with me. I was right.” His eyes are glued on your smile as you look away, following the butterflies with your eyes.
You find a walkway and set a slow pace, stopping every so often to read the metal plaques that were placed about, explaining the different types of flora and butterflies. You weren’t entirely sure what you were expecting, but it definitely wasn’t this. Your chest swelled with joy as you went on, listening as Suguru read you the plaques.
“It really is magical, just like it was in the book. Thank you.” You can’t hide the vulnerability from your voice.
Suguru’s eyes crinkle when he smiles, a cute habit you noticed, and he squeezes your hand.
“Of course, thank you for joining me.”
The two of you spend several hours there, a leisurely pace set between you. It was hard to want to go home when you knew the world outside was this beautiful. You wonder if colors will seem dull compared to this place. You were betting on it.
When families begin to filter in you both decide to head out. You were glad kids were gonna experience the same joy you had, but you wanted more privacy with Suguru, even if you had to go home soon. If you could spend more time with him, you would. Unfortunately duty calls and you had work early in the morning, effectively cutting your date much shorter than you would have liked.
Much like yesterday's date.
You agree to let him walk you back home, if only to spend as much time together as possible. He never let go of your hand ever since the observatory, and you were grateful for it. His large palm provided some sense of protection, relief you didn’t know you needed.
Your apartment comes into view far quicker than you were hoping. You could have lived on campus, but you instead opted to find a place elsewhere. Jujutsu High was your home, but you wanted to be able to separate yourself from it occasionally. You were able to find an apartment for a decent price, only staying there to sleep and change. Every so often when it was too late, you crashed in a dorm at the school, but you made sure to keep those occurrences low.
“This is it.” You sigh out, turning to face Suguru.
“I had fun today.” He stops and looks down at you, his body relaxed as he addresses you.
“I did too! Maybe we can hang out again sometime?”
Kiss me, kiss me, you internally beg.
Your eyes focus on the way his lips morph as he talks.
“I’d love that.”
Please, kiss me.
Suguru keeps your hand in his as he leans down, placing his lips gently on your forehead.
Oh.
That was different, yet it made your heart beat faster than a normal kiss would have. The intimacy of it all struck you like a freight train. No one had given you a forehead kiss before. His lips linger for a moment, before he’s pulling away all too soon.
“I’ll call you?”
Your throat squeezes as you try to force words out, but you’re all too flustered.
“I’ll be waiting.” You say, trying to seem cool.
Suguru chuckles softly before letting go of your hand. Your palm feels chilly the second he lets go. You’ll see him again, you remind yourself. Hopefully.
You force yourself to make your way to your door, body trembling in excitement. It felt like you took all the butterflies home with you, their wings fluttering inside your chest as you close the door behind you. After a couple of deep breaths you’re able to cool down, although you still felt a tingle on your forehead where his lips were.
Two dates in two days, not too bad.
Hopefully the momentum will stay strong.
As you get ready for bed, you replay the events of the past two days over in your head, your heart swelling with exhilaration. When you drift off to sleep, your dreams are filled with crepes and butterflies.

11. i'll see you in court ☆
writing in-between cuts!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
hugs are exchanged, and many many "i missed you"'s are exchanged. nobara's hands are shaky as she reaches out to her girlfriend, whom she hasn't seen for quite a few months. while they hug and whisper amongst themselves, yuuji envelopes you into a hug of your own, practically bouncing up and down. his words are jumbled and fast, for someone who doesn't know him, it'd be impossible to keep up. "we missed you so much and i know it hasn't been that long but for us it's felt like forever and we never realized how much we needed you back there and movie nights aren't the same without you and and-" a hand reaches up to his mouth, effectively silencing him. "relax, yuuji. i know you missed me." you smile, softening your words always seems to do the trick when he's bouncing off the walls like that. he gives you another quick hug before backing away, taking a short glance at yuuta before doing so.
... why did he look at me like that?
a small wave and a smile is exchanged between you and megumi, he's never really been one for hugs... or affection by any means.
after eventually wrapping up the dragged out greetings, nobara announces that she will 'drop dead' if she doesn't get something to eat immediately, so you're all headed to the dining hall as your first stop. you will periodically sneak glances at yuuta, who has his hands in his pockets and is seemingly glued to the side of toge. you wished he would walk next to you, give you any attention at all, but you're just friends. you aren't entitled to him. at least, that's the conclusion your brain has come to at this point. instead of your black-haired boy, yuuji is by your side rambling about all the different stops they took on the way here, and how nobara insisted on buying snacks at every single one. this conversation continues at the lunch table, which turns into the two of them pointing fingers at eachother back and forth, and megumi ready to put his head in his hands out of embarrassment.
you laugh, and it almost feels bittersweet for a split second. this feels so comfortable, something you've struggled to feel ever since moving here. of course, you couldn't have found a better group to surround yourself with; you're eternally grateful to your new friends for taking you in. but, nothing will beat the pure happiness that comes with being around the people who know you best. the ones who have seen you at your highest, your lowest, your... weirdest.. (we don't talk about mario kart nights). you may have made amazing friends at your home away from home, but these are your friends, your people. yuuta notices your demeanor, and his anxious gaze softens when he realizes what you're doing.
how can i be acting like this when she's so happy?
hands are placed on your shoulders, and you're (literally) shaken out of your thoughts. "earth to y/nnnn!" yuuji's voice rings through your ears as you fade back into the conversation, and you turn to him with silence, yet a look on your face that speaks volumes. his face brightens, and he retracts his hands, holding them up as an apology. "sorry, sorry, but you've been so dazed! we're about to leave!" your eyes widen, trying to recollect just how long you've been in your head for yet again. "where are we going?" you ask, turning to the rest of the group who starts to snicker at your confusion, when they've been talking about the location for at least five minutes at this point. "nobara wants to go shopping, so we're going to the mall." maki finally says, smiling at you thinking she knows something. you squint at her smugness, but brush it off once the group starts to head out.
i should've sat next to her instead.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
after another sigh from maki, and matching pouts from you and nobara, a hand taps on your shoulder. you turn around and are met with yuuta, who pulls you slightly farther away from the two girls starting to bicker over whether or not a weighted sloth plushie is necessary. your hand doesn't leave his, and you look up at him puzzled. "what's wrong?" he just smiles and shakes his head, which confuses you more. "nothing, i just didn't want to tell you i'll buy you one in front of them" when those words leave his mouth, your eyes noticeably light up, and even with your best attempt at hiding it, it doesn't work. pushing him away slightly, you attempt to decline, but he's already dragging you back to where you were and picking one out with you.
"if i pick one with you, it'll belong to both of us"
"will i get shared custody?"
"i'll see you in court."
yuuta seems much more content than he was before after you two picked out a stuffed cat and named it charlie. but, he was very much still on his guard. he doesn't like the way yuuji puts his hands on you so often, and he doesn't like the way you allow it. but, you're not his, who is he to control you?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
-> ooooooh boyy yuuta.. this boy has had his eyes on y/n since the moment the friend group arrived. he feels so guilty for being so jealous, but he wishes he was close with you the way you are with them. your actions and the way you carry yourself seem so much more laid back than how you are with him and the rest. he wants you to be that comfortable with him, why now is he realizing that you may have been tense? he thought you liked him, why do things feel weird all of a sudden..? is he too deep in his thoughts?
-> a bit of a timeskip happened! not much, just two days from when we last saw them :3 (i didn’t know how to fill the gap help)

Home (Is Wherever I’m With You)
Tumblr media
synop: meet the gang!
a/n: lololol not proof read. still getting used to writing. this is pt 2 —> pt 1 here
word count: 1.1k
“Yuuji! Arms up more!” Panda yelled from the sidelines, as he watched the pink haired boy get absolutely pounded into the ground by Maki’s weapon. “I’m- trying-!” He would yell in between getting whacked. “Not hard enough!” Kugisaki added, which made the second years laugh.
Megumi walked out to the field where the rest of his peers were watching the (one sided) battle. “What’s going on?” He asked the girl standing next to hom. “Itadori is getting his ass handed to him by Maki!” She laughed. “Oi!” The boy yelled from the field. “Why don't you get down here and try!” Nobara put her hand behind her head and looked away.
The ongoing battle was interrupted, much to Itadori’s relief, by a clapping Gojo, with Yaga standing beside him. “Well done my beautiful students!” He laughed. “Especially you Yuuji! I’ve never seen someone get taken down so quickly! That’s a real skill!” After he said that, Yaga promptly smacked him upside the head.
While Gojo was off whinging, Yaga took his glasses off and began to clean them. “Ahem. Students. I’ve decided that, with the upcoming Exchange event, you’ll need to be able to better deal with a… different… kind of cursed technique. Someone who excels at both close contact and their technique.”
Megumi knew where this was headed, as he could sense her cursed energy since the pair walked down. “What, are we getting a new teacher or something?” Maki sighed, hoping they would get someone a little less… well let's say childish. “Hey! I excel at both of those things!” Gojo continued to whine, but a new presence appeared behind him, giving another smack.
“Yeah dumbass, but he needs someone who doesn't act like a teenager!” You yelled. Yuuji audibly gasped. “It’s a woman! A beautiful one!” He accidentally said aloud.
“Sorry Yuuji! But this one’s taken!” He said, grabbing your face and peppering it with kisses. Yuuji and Nobara stood there with shocked looks on their faces. The three Second Years had met you previously, due to the fact that you had helped Yuta when he first came to Jujutsu Tech Megumi and Yaga both stood there with their hands on their faces.
“Ew Satoru, get off of me!” You said, shoving him away. “Someone… actually likes.. Gojo?” Nobara said, still in shock. “You know… you know him right?! You know his personality!” She asked. “Unfortunately so. But he can be polite when he wants to.” You replied, still shoving him away.
“But hi kids, I’m Y/N L/N. I’m another special grade sorcerer-" "And my girlfriend!” Gojo interrupted. “Yeah yeah you big goof. Now where’s- ah, there he is.” You said, locking eyes with the raven haired boy. “Megumi~” Gojo said, matter of factly, “Aren’t you gonna come give your mom a hug~” He teased. Megumi’s face turned bright red, and all the others went crazy. Now even the second years didn’t know that. “She's your mom?!” Panda yelled. “How could someone so beautiful give birth to someone like him?!” That one was definitely Kugisaki.
“Oh, oh! I’m not his actual mom! Gojo and I raised Megumi from when he was little!” You smiled, patting his head. “Y/N-san, I thought you were in Africa with Yuuta.” He asked. “Oh, I was, but the kid insisted I come back and help you all get ready for the exchange event. By the looks of it, I’m not sure there's much I can do. Aside from that one over there.” You said, pointing to Yuuji, who was still making heart eyes at you.
“HAHA, you hear that! She thinks you're dumb!” Nobara bent over laughing, while hitting Yuuji on the back. That seemed to take him out of his trance. “U-h! Y/N-san! Forgive me!” he said, bowing down. “You’re very beautiful!”
You didn’t know how to respond, but he seemed like a sweet kid. “Thank you, Itadori!” You patted his head. His face turned beet red. “EXCUSE ME!” The young boy said while running off.
You smiled while watching him hysterically run, occasionally tripping over his feet. You turned back to the group to speak. “Maki, nice to see you! How’s that sister of yours?” “Evil as ever.” She replied with a scowl. “Panda! Have you grown since I’ve seen you last!” “Maybe you’ve just gotten shorter, L/N-Sensei.” “Ah, Toge! Look at you! You changed your hair!” “Salmon!” The boy smiled.
You stuck your hand out, making eye contact with Nobara. She returned the handshake. “L/N-san! It’s not too late! You can still run from Gojo-Sensei! There’s plenty of attractive sorcerers that aren’t crazy!” She said, leaning in. “Yeah, but they aren’t the strongest like I am!” Gojo smirked. “Now run along children, we have adult things to talk about! Except you, Megumi! Y/N and I want to catch up!”
(flashback)
“Gumi, you have to eat something!” Gojo sighed as he placed an assortment of fruits in front of the younger boy. “Don’t wanna.” He said, going back to coloring the dogs on his paper. Just as the white haired man was going to beg again, he heard the door unlocking, making both boys swivel their heads around.
“We’re back!” Tsumiki yelled. “And we brought treats!” Gojo ran over to you, panicking. “Y/N, my beautiful girlfriend, please tell that demon child to eat!” You glanced over at your adult boyfriend, who was wearing a sanrio apron and his signature round glasses.
“Satoru… it’s hard to take you seriously when you look like Hello Kitty…” Gojo pouted. “Please my love, he doesn’t listen to a word I say! He only listens to you and ‘Miki! He hates men!” He whined. You looked over at the smaller boy once more, who was happily eating his strawberries next to his sister.
“He seems to be doing fine.” You shrugged. Gojo began to fake cry. “You’re so mean to me, Megumi!” Megumi didn’t spare Gojo a glance. “You’re annoying.”
-
As soon as the kids were asleep, you plopped down in bed next to Gojo, who was reading a book, titled ‘How to make your kid like you’. “That book isn’t going to do anything, you know.” You said, still face down on the pillow.
“But he’s so mean!” Gojo whisper yelled, placing the book down. “He’s just… special. One day he’ll be grateful for what you did. But for now, let him be a moody pre-teen.” You finally lay on your side, facing the beautiful blue eyes you’ve grown to love.
“Y/N, he needs friends. He needs a best friend, and it’s gonna be me!” You threw a pillow at his face, sighing. “He’ll be fine. You didn’t meet Suguru until you started High School.”
“Yeah, well, look at how that turned out.” You looked up for a second, thinking of what to say next. “We still have Shoko, right? And Nanami. Well, me more than you, but you get the point.”
Gojo sighed. “Why does everyone hate me.” He pouted. “They don’t hate you, Satoru. They just don’t get you like I do.” You said, gently placing a hand on his face. He brought his closer to you, until your foreheads were touching.
“Promise you’ll love me forever?” He asked. “Forever and ever, and even a but after that.” You gave him a small peck on the cheek. “Y/N… I have to tell you something important…” He said.
“Yes, Satoru?”
Instead of speaking, he sneezed on you.
“HAHA, I GOT YOU!”
“I’M SLEEPING ON THE COUCH.”

gn!reader | itadori, megumi, yuuta, gojo
note from nia: yes gojo's is inspired by me getting stuck in the middle of a packed train and stumbling into people. Good God. i Wish i fell onto gojo. humiliation
ITADORI stares dumbfounded at the board while the professor speaks, not taking in a single word. he leans back into his seat and begins to contemplate either 1) dropping this class for next year or 2) completely changing majors. but his eyes glance over to the person next to him, easily taking notes and managing to go on their phone in between. that’s when you feel a poke at your shoulder and turn around. he offers an almost embarrassed smile before whispering, “hey, sorry, do you understand what’s going on right now?” you lift a brow and nod, albeit confused. yuuji’s eyes light up and he scoots closer. “awesome! d’you think you could uh…teach me? after class? or—or whenever you’re free? i kinda need this class for my major and…” he trails off and points at his basically empty page. “i think i’m screwed.” your lips twitch at the doodle of him(?) with question marks floating above his head, but you manage to stop yourself from smiling, feeling bad enough for the guy. you nod again before taking his notebook and placing it on top of yours. yuuji watches as you write something down and pass it back to him. “it’s uh, my handle and number. whichever works better for you.” his eyes scan your writing and he grins—if it weren’t for the fact you were basically a stranger, he would have hugged you. “thanks! i’m yuuji by the way. what’s your name?”
MEGUMI’s grip tightens around his umbrella handle as he pulls his hood further over his head. he thinks it’s just his luck to get stuck out in the rain on his way to class and sighs. but before he can feel any worse for himself, he hears someone walking quickly from behind him. he moves over to make space, blinking when he notices they’re walking with only their hands over their head. “um, excuse me,” he calls out. you freeze and turn around to the boy who was very obviously more prepared for the weather than you. “yes?” “did you want…to walk together?” megumi feels his face flush a little as you blink at him and he clears his throat. “my umbrella’s big enough, and it seems like we’re headed the same way, so…” there’s a beat of silence as you continue to stare at him—you’re not sure what kind of prank the universe is playing to get you drenched then have a cute guy offer to walk with you, but you don’t think you’re in any place to complain. “yeah, sure, if you don’t mind,” you reply. megumi finally lets himself breathe and he catches up to you, making sure you were covered. “thank you,” you pause and look at him. it’s his turn to blink before offering a polite smile. “megumi. and don’t worry about it.”
YUUTA tries his best not to rely on caffeine to get through the day, but he’s more tired than usual when he wakes up, which is how he finds himself in line at the nearest starbucks to his class. he overhears the cashier say your total and starts to recite his own order in his head in preparation. “yeah, um…” your hands pause inside your pockets and you whisper, “oh my god.” you sigh and yuuta watches as your shoulders drop.  “i’m sorry, i don’t have my wallet,” you explain with a forced laugh. “you can—can you just cancel my order? sorry.” “i can pay for you,” yuuta speaks up before stepping forward. you stumble over your words as he turns to you with a smile before taking out his card. “i’ll pay for them. and, and for me, actually—” he quickly adds on his own order, and you watch as he taps his card against the machine. the both of you step aside for the next person to order and you fiddle with your fingers as you look at him. “you didn’t have to…” yuuta only shakes his head and waves his hands. “no, it’s fine! you probably need the energy if you’re here this early.” you let out a breath and smile at him. “thank you, really. i, um, promise i’ll pay for your order if you ever forget your wallet.” the both of you realize that'd be unlikely, but maybe it's the thought that counts. yuuta snorts before covering his mouth and laughing a little quieter. you laugh at his reaction, too, and his face warms at the sound. it makes him feel a little bolder—“do you wanna exchange numbers so i could hold you to that, then?”
GOJO watches as the train fills with more people and scoots himself into the corner. it’s to be expected when it’s the best timed for everyone’s 11am classes. he’s lucky, you think, as you step on and realize you’re stuck in the middle with nothing to hold onto. you try to balance yourself as best as you can, but there’s a turn that happens a little too quickly. you lose your footing, stumbling into the man behind you. “woah there,” he says, stopping you from hitting the door. “god, sorry—” you apologize, your face flushed as you look at him. “nah, don’t worry about it. you okay?” you nod and stand up properly again, widening your stance just a little. “yeah, sorry. i just have shitty balance, i guess,” you awkwardly laugh. gojo hums and tilts his head. “d’you wanna switch spots with me? promise i won’t smush you.” your mind is quickly filled with thoughts of how embarrassing it is for him to have to offer. but it’s probably more embarrassing how you stare with your mouth open to respond, realizing how attractive the guy in front of you actually is. he smiles at you, and you wonder if he can read your mind before you push yourself to reply. “are you sure?” gojo grins as he steps aside and bows a little. “it’d be my honour.” so you find yourself in the corner, your eyes flickering between out the window and to him. his voice startles you when he suddenly speaks, “so, what class are you going to, and would you mind if we walked together?”

omg i love the way u write jjk characters! i was reading ur work and had a scenario that i thought would be so fun to read from you if you like the idea! i was thinking abt if you got drunk with them at the school (like maybe all the students sneak to one persons dorm or something), how they would act drunk, how they would treat u, what would happen etc. my favs are toge and yuji but you could do whoever ofc!
ok idk if this is exactly what you were looking for but since i've wrtten a few fics now where drinking/partying was the theme, i'm gonna assign the jjk crews their party night roles lolol so enjoy
ITADORI YUUJI is the life of the party, obviously. he's the type to bring jello shots to the function and if no one wants them, he'll eat em all himself. he's the guy that you dare to do stuff as the night goes on. he's the guy that somehow, at the end of each party, is missing a shirt. did he go swimming? did someone spill on it? did he spill on it? (most likely) everyone laughs but no one really complains about it. he's always got a fun plan or game in mind to keep the night going, and everyone's happy to have him there.
FUSHIGURO MEGUMI is the shy-at-first guest. he's slow when he first gets there, and always claims he doesn't want to get too fucked up. he's got a never ending amount of excuses up his sleeve as to why he can't take that shot with you, or be your partner for beer pong. but give him an hour to warm up. he'll spend that time lining up a fire playlist and semi-mingling. the trick to getting him to loosen up? just a quick smoke first. don't jump on him with it, but if he sees a joint being passed around, he can't resist just a couple puffs. what's the harm, right? a couple puffs and he's giving in to whatever other party shenanigans come his way.
KUGISAKI NOBARA is in charge of the photography for the evening. everyone's instagrams and snapchat stories are well taken care of when she's around. in the early parts of the evening they're casual photos, fit checks, some candids of the laughing group as they play games or eat pizza. she's quite good with lighting and angles, and no one complains when she shoves her phone in their face. as the night goes on, she probably documents more than she should- toge drawing on yuuta's face while he's passed out, yuuji shirtless and covering himself in whipped cream on a dare- but it's always too funny to go through them the next day and delete half the evidence.
PANDA is the dancer. if he's drinking, he's dancing. it doesn't matter how many drinks are in his system. it doesn't matter if the music is particularly fun- or even playing. he's got too much excitement from hanging out with his friends and is down for a good time. he's also easy to coerce into pranking someone.
INUMAKI TOGE is the coercer of pranks. if someone passes out, he's always got a marker on him. he always has the best dares for truth or dare, and isn't afraid when others want to get their revenge. he's that class-clown energy at the party. sometimes it's annoying, but it's always undeniably funny. he definitely likes those tacky party favors from spencers. especially the big dick shaped syringes for taking shots. he's got a lot of sus 'party decorations'. but let's be real it's really fucking funny when he breaks out the newest one. also if he gets too drunk he will use his cursed speech for the sake of humor.
ZEN'IN MAKI is the bartender and general caretaker of the group. she's the best at mixed drinks and knows everyone's favorite, but always has something new to try. as the designated bartender she's also the one subtly making sure everyone is on a good track for the night. most of the time it just meant keeping an eye on yuuji and toge, reminding them to have some water every once in a while went a long way. and she's not afraid to cut you off if you're getting sloppy. i also think she'd roll the fattest, cleanest joints when she's not mixing drinks.
OKKOTSU YUUTA is the first to fall asleep. he's a good time, don't get me wrong. he loves the games and the dancing and the goofing around, but he's an overworked boy and... a bit of a lightweight. motherfucker takes two hits and is shaking his head the rest of the rotation. it's kinda cute that his eyes get all red after so little before he raids the snack table. maki knows he has a five drink limit before he either needs to drink water or rally or... as usual, he's slumped into the couch and snoozing away. it's a miracle that he can sleep so hard when the music is blasting and everyone has to yell to be heard- especially when it's itadori yelling. by the end of the night, someone's thrown a blanket over him, and toge's vandalized his face with permanent marker.

Cherish ~A cute light-yellow bloom with a purple center~
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Masterlist
Tags : Fluff, Fluff and Angst, Comfort, Soft Gojo Satoru, Canon Divergence AU(?), Gojo Satoru needs a hug.
Summary : "Come back with me and let me unfold my story once more for you. So you can write me as the main character in the pages of your life. I need you. Please come home."
Tumblr media
You're a new teacher at Jujutsu High School and have been promoted by the higher-ups to teach in Tokyo.
Despite being a novice teacher. Your students hold you in high regard, earning instant respect from the famous Gojo Satoru.
Initially, Kusakabe felt skeptical of your ability, having never witnessed you on missions, and he questioned how someone without a good track record or license could teach.
However, Gojo held a more open-minded perspective, a typical Gojo Satoru. Believes that anyone could be a teacher, regardless of their lack of experience.
His opinions led you to think that Gojo's reputation isn't as bad as anyone says about him. The truth is, Gojo is a good friend. Very interesting man. Cute. Somehow, you loved how he treated you.
Despite how loud he is in the teacher's room, he always injects joy into your empty heart, filling you with happiness. All of your days are always surrounded by yellow since you know him. Rays of sunshine. Yellow. So warm yet so bright.
He knew how to make you smile, giggle, and laugh. What a wonderful man he is!
Sometimes he would bring you a morning coffee with so much sugar on it, along with some marshmallows. Invite you to lunch, picnic, and watch Kohaku Uta Gassen on New Year's Eve.
Everything about him is too much until you feel dizzy. Because your mind is always full of him.
His other habit is showering you with souvenirs whenever he is aboard. Despite how weird the souvenirs were, you kept them in your bedroom as a charm, a treasure that you would cherish.
Unlike Kusakabe, you dislike Gojo's teaching methods, which seem too casual and childish. However, you can see that his students are talented, even at such a young age.
He undoubtedly unusually encouraged his students; you know exactly how he expressed his affection for them. His students mean everything to him. Everything.
One day, he said he needed your help and claimed that you were the only person who was capable of helping him. He didn't give you any details, but he only sent you a message with crying emoticons, expressing distress.
You found him in his favorite spot. Which is a cat cafe near Tokyo. Even with his eyes covered by a blindfold, you could tell he was worried by the tone of his words.
He started. "You know, two days ago I sent Megumi to examine Sukuna's finger, and... at first it went so well, but... there was a kid the same age as Megumi, and he swallowed Sukuna's finger. I don't know what to do now. He's possessed by Sukuna. The higher-ups want him to be executed, but something about this situation is bothering me."
"Oh, is he in the same situation as Okkotsu-kun? I know Gojo-senpai always has something good in his head. I understand why the higher-ups are concerned, but their opinions are often biased. Gojo-senpai is more suited to this. So, do what you think is right, and I'll help if you need me."
"But—"
"Senpai, I understand your concerns. However, that kid still needs you right now. He's probably confused, and I want you to guide him. Where is he now? Should I greet him?"
"Sure, you can meet him at school. I'm sure Yuuji-kun likes you."
You understand that very well. Gojo is in a fragile state where he can't think clearly. He seems to look to you as a moral compass or hopes for some good suggestions.
Last year had a big impact on his mental health, and you've been deeply concerned. He never scolded you before, but every time you mentioned Yuuta, he always raised his tone when talking; he didn't want you to be involved with his problem.
Kusakabe says that Gojo will solve his problems on his own, as he's always done since they were young. Gojo always has a tiny space in his mind to solve everything.
Yet, he is still human, right? In the end, he needs someone to encourage and support him, no matter how strong he may seem.
The Shibuya Incident left everyone with so much trauma and pain. The Jujutsu world lost everything at that time. Nanami was gone, Maki was severely injured, and Shibuya transformed into a big black hole in only an hour.
This impact hits you as well. Your own realm seemed to be falling apart. There was a pain sensation as if transparent swords were stabbed all over your body. The series of nightmares filling your mind, including the worst scenario.
Gojo Satoru.
Why did this happen to him? Was he too reckless, pushing himself against those curses? Did he let his guard down?
You kept sending positive thoughts to your brain, hoping and praying that Gojo would be fine and that you could help him escape the prison realm.
But no matter how hard you tried to be strong, you couldn't hold back your pain. Especially when reading the announcement from the higher-ups—taking advantage of Gojo's absence, they declared the execution for Yaga and Yuuji. Two people are important for Gojo.
Of course, this was not what you wanted, and certainly not with Gojo.
Everyday. Everyday. You hope that a miracle will whisper your fortune. You are hoping for him to come back and see his face...
again...
at least one more time again...
...with him.

You were greedy and you got bored easily.
Yuuta's friend warned him about that — that you would just leave him when he stopped giving you fun and pleasure. You didn't care about safety or guidelines, which was something the Special Grade sorcerer could offer easily.
The day Okkotsu Yuuta stopped giving you fun would be the day you disappeared from his life, and he couldn't have that happen. He would do anything to keep you. He would murder for you.
"Yuuta, do you love me?"
The water in the glass he was holding spilled over as he abruptly stopped walking in surprise at your question.
You laid naked on your stomach on his bed with your legs kicking back and forth as you lit a cigarette.
You often smoked after having sex with him, and so he already had the window opened for you. He placed the glass of water on the bedside table, then grabbed a paper towel to clean up the spilled water.
"Would you run away if I said yes?" he asked, focusing on the wet spot on the floor.
You thought about it for a moment. Truthfully, you didn't think Yuuta could love someone like you. You were troubled and rash and not many people liked you.
"I don't think so," you answered. "Unless you suddenly got super clingy. I like you how you are now, so if you don't change then I don't think I'd run."
He threw away the paper towel and washed his hands before crawling onto the bed and rolling you over. He grabbed the cigarette from your fingers and leaned in to kiss you.
You blew smoke out from your lips, creating a layer of smoke around his face. He scrunched up his nose in distaste and turned away until the smoke cleared.
"Gross," he muttered.
You chuckled. "You don't mind when you kiss me though."
"It's because I'm kissing you that I don't mind the taste," he retorted, leaning in to kiss you properly.
Yes, you were greedy. But Yuuta was more greedy, and it was something he hid well.
"Yuu, I want you to slut me out," you whispered.
He froze with his lips barely touching yours. No matter how many times he had sex with you, the indecent words that came out of your mouth always surprised him.
Those words always made him excited. He was just nineteen, the awkward age before real adulthood but past most legalities. His body was always so excited and reacted to you in the most obvious and dirty ways.
Your hard slipped between his legs, brushing against the underside of his cock. It twitched, hardening as you teased the head of it.
"You're so greedy," he murmured.
You giggled, crawling to the edge of the bed and bringing your lips to his cock. You swirled your tongue around the head, sucking and licking while your hand pumped slowly.
"Fuck," he grunted.
He had already come once earlier that night and he knew you were about to make him go two or three more rounds.
You were so good to him, always wanting to please him and make him feel good. His eyes were dark and hungry, a feeling that was once foreign to him until he met you. To this day, he continued to believe he was a dirty slut that had no right being a Special Grade sorcerer when he was so weak for a pretty thing like you.
"Yuu," you mewled with a soft kiss to his tip. "Wanna lay down for me, pretty boy?"
And just like that, he crawled into the bed and laid down for you, eager to see what you would do to please him. He was like a puppy in your eyes, so cute and eager to please. The two of you liked to please each other, getting off of the satisfaction of the other.
With a smile, you turned around and crawled on top, letting your wet pussy near his face. His mouth watered at the anticipation of tasting you, knowing that you would taste like him as well.
You held his pretty, eager cock in your hand, starting slow with your tongue. Yuuta, on the other hand, was fast and messy, wanting to devour your pretty pussy.
You let out a soft, surprised moan as he slipped his tongue inside you and used his chin to nudge against your clit.
You moaned and whimpered around his cock, sending vibrations to his body. The tip of his cock hit the back of your throat, and you loved how full he made your mouth feel. You loved choking on his cock.
A sudden pain caused you to jolt, and you whimpered, knowing what followed after the familiar sting.
“Cum,” he said, soft and easy, knowing the cursed seal on his tongue would assist him in your orgasm.
Your legs tensed, locking his head in between as you came while moaning and crying around the base of his cock. Weakly and with a loud pop, your mouth released from his cock with a whine.
"Yuu, that was mean!"
He kissed your clit. "Sorry, angel. I gotta even the playing field."
He just wanted to make you feel good. You were always so good at making him feel good, whether it be with your mouth or with your fingers curled inside him.
You pouted and moved around, careful not to accidentally smack him in the face with your legs. You thought about whining some more, but you forgave him quickly once you saw how shiny and wet his face was from your pussy.
You leaned in for a kiss, loving the way he groaned and sighed into your mouth. He loved how you tasted — a mix of you and a mix of him. He grabbed the back of your head, pushing you deeper into the kiss and slipping his tongue inside.
The cursed seal on his tongue sent a vibration through you, tingly and a bit painful. It made you dizzy and so intoxicated with him and his pure, raw strength and cursed energy. You loved how big and powerful he was, waves of cursed energy coursing through him as he made your body completely his.
He easily flipped you onto your bed, sliding his knee between your legs and pushing your thigh to the side. His fingers slipped between your folds, sliding and teasing between them until you moved your hips for friction.
"You're so slutty," he whispered as he moved to your neck, sucking and biting to leave purple and pink marks.
His cursed seal left in the process so that he could properly slut you out on his own accord. You whined and whimpered, fingers digging into his wrist for more friction.
"Yuu," you cried.
"Hmm?"
"Please, I need it — anything," you pleaded.
He smiled, easing his index and middle finger inside to curl them slowly.
You sighed softly, thankful but impatient at the same time. You wanted more and more until your eyes would roll to the back of your head and you couldn't form words, let alone thoughts.
"Yuu, I want it — Please, I want it — "
"What do you want?" he asked with a teasing smile as he leaned back and towered above you.
"Your cock. Please, I want it inside me — big and fat and warm — "
He groaned at your words. No matter how many times you said dirty shit like this to him, it would always rile him up.
He slid his fingers out and put them in his mouth, sucking off the juice before holding his cock steady to slide between your folds. He teasingly rubbed back and forth, using all his willpower to not just fill you up only because he wanted to hear you beg more.
"Yuu, don't tease," you whimpered softly.
The look on your face broke his heart a little and that was when he knew he couldn't draw it out any longer. He had to give his little slut what she wanted, after all.
"On your hands and knees," he demanded.
You scrambled to get to your hands and knees, ass wiggling in the air at knowing what was coming soon. He smiled at how smart you were, lining the head with your pussy before sliding in.
You let out a loud gasp at the feeling of being stretched out and completely full. His hand grabbed your hip, while his other hand wrapped around your throat, forcing you to throw your head back.
He began to thrust, snapping his hips rhythmically. His hand had a firm grip on your throat, making it harder to breathe.
"Whose pussy is this?" he questioned.
"Y-Yours, Yuuta! Your pussy!"
"That's right. Good girl, Y/N. You're such a slut for my cock. Can you feel it sucking me back in? You better not be like this with other men."
"N-No! Only you, Yuu!"
"That's right, angel," he grunted. "I'm gonna fill you up nice and full."
You mewled, excitedly meeting his cock with your ass Your pussy contracted around him as he pounded into your g-spot. You had little to no warning when an orgasm washed over you, body twitching and convulsing as orgasmed for the third time that night. Yuuta continued to thrust, letting you cry and ride out your high on his cock.
Your eyes rolled to the back of your head, mouth open with breathless gasps as he used your pussy to ride his high. He praised you, but you couldn't hear him. You were cumming one after another, clit tingling.
"Y-Yuu, I — I can't — "
Drool trailed down from your mouth as you cried out, squirting around his cock and wetting the bed and sheets beneath you.
"Fuck," he groaned, hips stuttering as his hot seed filled you up, creeping up the sides and bubbling out of you.
He slid out of you with a wince, using all the energy he had left to grab a towel and clean you up since he knew you were far gone to clean yourself.
Well, you did it to yourself. You were too greedy and just had to ask for more. There was no one out there who could slut you out as good as Yuuta did, and he knew that.

What do you think are Gojo and Geto’s greatest personality strengths and weaknesses? Why? What do you love about their dynamic?
Until now, have you found any couple (canon or non canon) from any media (books, tv series, movies, anime/manga, etc) that the dynamics remind you of Gojo/Geto?
Thanks if you want to answer....
(I forgot this ask in my drafts sorry)
Asking me to ramble about my hyperfixation when I'm too tired to write in correct English is cruelty actually /j
I think their strengths are mostly the same as their weaknesses. (It's only my take on them, everyone has a different opinion)
Geto's empathic, he understands people, he likes helping, giving advice, protecting, and caring ; he makes a point to ensure that everyone around him is fine and safe. He's strong so he can bear with painful tasks, he knows he can, so he doesn't complain about it. He has a great sense of morals and responsibilities. It's all amazing qualities, until it became too much. He was caring too much, worrying too much, enduring too much, and he drowned under the weight of everything he fought so hard for. His morals contradicted his will to help people and he had to make a choice. He loved people so much he couldn't bear to see his friends die, so he sacrificed the entire world to protect them. I think his greatest weakness is that he loved his close ones more than he loved himself, so he didn't even think about asking for help because he didn't believe people would care about him as much as he cared about them.
Geto, like everyone else, would say that Gojo is selfish, which is ironic because Geto is the one who kept everything to himself and didn't let people worry about him. He tried to fix himself alone, then decided he didn't need to be fixed.
Gojo's selfish, egocentric, forgetful, defiant, and is very much in love with his best friend. Those are weaknesses, to be clear. He's also kinda naive, because he believes things will be fine no matter what, but this is just another side of his arrogance. He hates authority figures but he needs to be told what to do because he is not able to regulate himself. He needs someone to draw a line for him, but he cannot express the importance that person has because he doesn't think it matters. Not that he doesn't believe they'd care but because he thinks they already know. (They don't- again, it's because of his arrogance). He doesn't realize nor understand how other people feel, but that doesn't stop him from reacting accordingly. Because he knows what it's like to suffer, to be lost, to be betrayed, to be lonely. He is not empathic, he doesn't feel what people are feeling, but he was so self-centered that he lost the person he loved the most, and now that he knows the pain he can project his own emotions on others. He's selfish and egocentric, so he saw people he could take care of and decided it'd be his responsibility to ensure they'd grow up happily. He doesn't care what the higher-ups think, he will do whatever pleases him. He also doesn't care what those people he takes care of are thinking, he forces himself into their lives because he truly believes he can make it better -and he does. (arrogance, the good side).
Gojo is arrogant and strong, he thinks he can change the world and deal with the consequences. He knows he can fight anything, so he doesn't actually worry about threats, even though it sometimes hurt his students. He proposes a status quo because he knows no one can fight him. He manages to keep Yuuta and Yuuji and Megumi safe by pure defiance.
Also it's canon that Gojo's mortal weakness is Geto himself.
What I love about them is perhaps the metaphors, the parallels, and the co-dependency. They're literally soulmates, they're a perfect match, they value each other so much it's overwhelming. They're also dumbasses and I love that kind of ship. They're handsome and pretty and gorgeous. They're smart and stupid at the same time. They're so in love that 9 years apart weren't enough to kill that. They're both little shit but one knows how to pretend to be nice. Literally EVERYTHING Gojo does as an adult is because of the influence Geto had in his life. They know each other so deeply that a simple glance is enough to recognize the other. Geto's body broke through Kenny's control because Gojo was in danger and it was the FIRST TIME it happened in CENTURIES. Hell, what is there NOT to love about them ??
Anyway. They make me think about Orpheus and Eurydice from the Greek mythology (He looked back. He knew she shouldn't, but he looked back because he loved him). I recently read a post that compared them to Achilles and Patroclus and I was like, oh, yeah, that could work. Also, they kinda have a vibe of Steve and Bucky from MARVEL. Like, childhood friends who liked messing around together until one got lost and followed a dark path while the other had to bear the weight of the world on his shoulders and was so praised and admired that he wasn't allowed to have a life by himself. Years and years later they met again and memories came back and the world fell apart. They're enemies know, opposite sides, there's only one way to stop the other. But. But they still love each other. (I'm going to make myself cry)
I could write so much more but I'm going to stop here because I have the feeling that I'm already annoying lmaooo

How Tatsuki Fujimoto writes Affection
First of all I would like to give massive credit to Tiktok user @campaign_baby for their Tiktok I saw on this that really made me think of it alot more
I will Bring up Examples from:
Shikaku
Mermaid Rhapsody
Goodbye Eri
Fire Punch
Chainsaw Man Part 1 (Quite a big spoiler in this will give fair warning)
Fujimoto has a sort of strange method he uses to write that a character Loves/cares deeply for someone. And its The character either being willing to be consumed or to provide sustenance to someone, Or to consume the other person. Examples:
Shikaku
After Shikaku confesses her love for Yucel, He rushes to the hospital to offer her his blood, Making her into an immortal vampire just like him. Yucel has also fallen for Shikaku, its basically his confession of love, He wants to live with her Forever.
Tumblr media
Its drawn in a way you can tell its such an act of compassion too.
Mermaid Rhapsody
"I loved her so much that I thought, If it was by someone with a smile as pretty as hers, Maybe being eaten wouldn't be so bad."
Toshihides Dad feels the exact same way about his Mom as Toshihide feels about Shijyu. Mermaids eat humans, But that never mattered to either of them.
Tumblr media
Goodbye Eri
Tumblr media
In Yuutas Movie about Eri, He writes her to be a Vampire, because he wouldnt actually mind to be her sustenance, In his movie, he loves Eri so much. (I genuinely cant read this fucking story without sobbing, Rereading it again just to get this screengrab just made me cry for like 20 min help)
Fire Punch
This one is Pretty straight forward, Agni with his regenerative powers feeds his village by continuously chopping of his Arm so they dont all starve to death. But more importantly he does this to prevent his sister from doing it aswell. He doesnt want her to suffer that pain so he takes sole responsibility for providing himself to the village.
Tumblr media
Agni also later feeds his followers with the help of Togata Chopping of the part of his face that isnt on Fire. I think this has more todo with making sure Togata gets fed rather than his followers, To Agni Togata means alot.
⚠️Chainsaw Man Part 1 (Spoilers for the Final arc)⚠️
When Power is about to Die, Power not only offers her own blood For Denji to Drink so he can get back to health, But Pochita also offers a small part of himself so she can come back as a Powerful Devil.
And ofcourse the big one is Denji Eating Makima. He obviously has to and all for the sake of erasing her. But he explicitly says it wasnt an Attack, It was an act of Love.
Tumblr media
Its such a fascinating thing that the idea of consuming someone can be concidered something you do to a cherished one, as an affectionate thing. I guess as Denji mentions that you basically become one with eachother in a way if you consume them.
But this is such a Weird thing Right? Where does this idea even originate from? Well ofcourse we can only Speculate but I really think he took on inspiration from his own life here, Because he has actually done this to someone he loved. Yes, Seriously.
Tatsuki Fujimoto eating his deceased Pet Fish
In the Authors notes for "Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man: 22-26" Fujimoto shares a story from when he was 24:
"Even though we were poor, we had a pet Japanese rice fish. I found it dead one summer. I went to toss its body into the trash like in Parasyte, but my girlfriend said she wanted me to bury it, So off I went to the park, alone. I tried to bury it under this big tree, but the ground was too hard, my hands got all dirty and I had no hole to show for my effort. Out of Options, I figured I would pretend I had buried the fish and left it lying there on top of the ground. As I watched it for a little while, ants found the body and began to carry it away. Im not sure what came over me, but in that moment, love for that pet fish welled within me for the first time. I brushed the ants away, and then Ate it."
You can read the full story here
Tumblr media
It has that "Wait what the hell am I reading" Charm to the story like alot of his works, But theres something so weirdly beautiful about this story, Somehow stricken with grief and love for this fish, He ate it. As Denji says, its not an attack, his fish is part of him now and its an act of love. So strange, yet so Beautiful.
Anyways thanks for reading this insanely long post if you even got this far I appreciate it!

First Date
YUTA X READER. FLUFF. (Thank you so much 🥹. AND YES I CAN. But pls keep sending more requests I really do get excited when you guys send them 🧎‍♀️🧎‍♀️)
I looked into the mirror, “Don’t you think this is too much…?” I questioned myself as I looked at the date outfit Nobara helped me put together. “Nah, you look hot!” Nobara said with a thumbs up. I looked at the outfit, I was wearing a purple low v-neck halter top, with a white tennis skirt. She also let me borrow some cute sandals she had, and a lot of matching jewelry. “What’s wrong? You don’t look too sure,” Nobara pouted. “N-No don’t get me wrong, the outfit is beautiful… but I don’t think it’s my style,” I pointed out. “Hmmm… I guess you do have a point… Yuta is already so blushy blushy around you in just your uniform. Maybe this as a first date outfit might just kill him,” Nobara joked. “Stop it, and I think I’ll just change into some jeans and throw a sweatshirt over it, plus some sneakers cause what if we’re walking all day?” I pointed out. “Pretty good points, but I think I know what to put you in,” Nobara smirked.
“Oh wow! Nobara, this is so cute!” I smiled as I spun around. (You can think of any outfit you’d like, but for the story I’ll be using the image down below 🫡) “I’m glad you like it, but all I’m saying is that if I were asked on a date I would’ve dressed so hot he would’ve died the second he laid his eyes on me,” Nobara smirked. “Maybe it’s a good thing you haven’t been asked on a date yet… you might end up on the most wanted watch list,” I joked while grabbing my blue handbag. Nobara rolled my eyes and followed me to her door. “Alright I have to go! Or else I’ll be late!” I said as I ran off to the campus stairs.
I made it! I looked down the stairs to see Yuta already waiting. “Yuta!” I called out and rushed down the stairs. “Hey (Y/N),” he smiled. I made it to the last step, but before stepping down I tripped over my own foot. “Ah-“ I let out while falling forward. “(Y/N)!” Yuta said and quickly ran over to catch me. Yuta wrapped his arms around me and quickly caught me before I could hit the ground. “Ah… t-thanks Yuta,” I blushed as I looked up to face him. “N-No problem, I just didn't want you to g-get hurt,” he stuttered, while quickly letting go of me. “Thanks,” I smiled. “So what’d you have planned for today?” I asked. “Ah, well… I thought some ramen would be good to start with,” he said. “Ooh! Yeah ramen sounds perfect right now!” I cheered and led the way to the train station.
“That really hit the spot, huh Yuta?” I asked. “Mhmm, now there was a place I wanted to go to…” he trailed off as he looked around the street. I tilted my head in confusion. “There it is!” He said as he grabbed my hand and we ran over to the mysterious place he mentioned. Suddenly he stopped and I looked up and realized that we stopped in front of a flower shop. “Oh wow! Flowers!” I smiled. “Yeah, I have something I need to pick up,” he blushed. “You do?” I asked. “Yeah, wait right here… just for a second!” He said as he ran in. I shrugged my shoulders and looked across the street to see an older couple walking together holding hands. “That’s nice…” I smiled. I began turning my gaze back to the flower shop to check if Yuta was out, until I heard someone scream. I flipped my head back towards the couple, and noticed a man fighting the older woman for her purse. “Hey!” I yelled and began to run over. Before I could reach the man, he pushed the older woman and ran off. I watched as her husband quickly knelt down to tend to her. “I’ll get him! I swear!” I yelled and took off over the guy. I ran as fast as I could towards the man, I watched as he took a turn into a small alley. I slowly approached the alley, making sure he wasn’t about to jump out and attack me. I then saw a head peep from behind a dumpster. I heard him scoff, “It’s just a high schooler…” he laughed as he walked out. “Now run off girly, before you get hurt. Just needed some quick cash, it shouldn’t concern you,” he said as he tried walking away. “Hey! I ain’t letting you leave with that purse!” I yelled. “And what are you gonna do about it?” He chuckled as he turned back. He rushed over to me, and I got in stance ready to fight back, but before I could land a punch the dumpster was thrown towards the man. Throwing him against the wall, knocking him out. “What the-?” I cut myself off, as I felt a scary presence. I turned around and saw Yuta. “Yuta!” I said and ran over. “Are you ok?” He asked, but before I could answer he pulled into a hug. “God… I got scared…” he said as he slightly trembled against me. “Yuta, I’m ok… plus you know I can handle myself,” I smiled and looked up to face him. “I know, but… I should be the one protecting you, especially when you’re with me,” he said as he had a serious look on his face. “You wanna be my superhero?” I giggled. “N-No… not like that, but… I just want to make sure you’re safe. I’d rather get hurt than you,” he smiled. I felt my cheeks heat up, “O-Okay,” I said softly. “Now let’s go take that woman’s purse back,” he said. I nodded and we quickly went to retrieve the bag.
While walking back to the couple I realized something… “Hey Yuta? Where’s your flowers?” I asked. “About that… I dropped them the second I saw you run off…” he sighed. “Oh… were they for someone important?” I asked. “Umm… yeah, they were someone really special,” he sighed again. “Oh, I’m sorry! I’ll buy you some new ones,” I said nervously. “No, that's fine,” he smiled. “Hello!” We turned our attention towards the unfamiliar voice. We looked up and noticed the older woman from earlier. “We got your purse back!” I said, and handed her the bag. “Oh thank you so much, both of you!” She smiled. “And we made sure to call the police, we’d hate to have that happen to you again,” Yuta said. “Where’s your husband?” I asked. “He’s coming, he said he saw something on the floor and went to go pick it up,” she explained. “I see, well I’m glad you’re ok. That was a nasty fall,” I pointed out. “I may not look like it, but I’m one tough cookie. Just ask my husband,” the woman laughed. She quickly turned around, “Oh there he is,” she said. We looked over and noticed him carrying a bouquet of wildflowers. “The bouquet!” Yuta said in shock as the man walked up to us. “I saw you drop these, and I assumed that you were with our friend here,” he said as he looked over towards me. “Thank you!” He said as he grabbed the bouquet from the older man. “No problem, and thank you for helping us,” the man said, as he shook our hands. “We really appreciate it, and also you two really deserve each other. Going off to help a stranger, and you going off to back her up. Not a lot of people like that anymore,” the woman winked. I felt my face blow up, and I looked over to see Yuta also has a cherry face. “Th-Thank you miss,” I smiled. We said our goodbyes and headed our own way.
“What a crazy first date, huh?” I laughed as we walked up the stairs. “It was,” Yuta chuckled. “So happy you got the flowers, that person is super lucky,” I smiled. “(Y/N)… they’re for you,” he laughed. I turned around quickly, and stared at him in disbelief. “Well I was hoping to surprise you with flowers when I walked out of the flower shop, but…” he laughed. “They’re for me?” I asked, still in disbelief. “Well… I was hoping we’d be in a more romantic setting, but I was hoping if this date went well then…” he trailed off. “Then?” I encouraged him. “Then I was planning on asking you to be my girlfri-“ I cut him off. “Yes!” I said as I pounced on him. He caught me, but the flowers flew everywhere. “The flowers!” He panicked. “It’s ok, Yuta,” I smiled. “But how are you going to remember our first date?” He asked. “I got an idea,” I smiled as I cupped his face. Before he could get another word in, I pulled him into a soft kiss. I felt him tense up, but quickly relaxed and deepened it. We finally pulled away and stared at each other, slowly trying to catch our breath. “T-That can work,” Yuta stuttered. I laughed, before pulling him in for another kiss.
The outfit I had in mind 💅

Hi hi!! I have a compulsive need to reread sea glass gardens at least once a week, and your writing feels like a personal attack and a bandaid at the same time lol
One thing that popped into my head, and im not sure if it been asked before, but im wondering about ijichi's role in the universe?
Like in canon he knows about itadori being alive (which may have just been circumstances) so i feel like there is a level of trust there, and ijichi was an underclassmen to the Teen Parenting Trio too right?
Just wondering how he's feeling rn, my man gets so stressed by everything
So I've definitely answered this before but tumblr's search function is shit and I can't find where the post is. So let's do it again.
Ijichi is so so stressed by everything right now. The man needs a xanax and a vacation.
So, I have this entire analysis of Yaga floating around somewhere, which includes the fact that he is not in Gojo's inner circle but Ijichi absolutely is. And a big part of that is that Ijichi knew that Itadori was alive and kept the secret for Gojo. Like, yeah, he happened to be there when he came back to life, but he never told anyone, and Gojo never seemed worried that he would. He's the assistant that Gojo most consistently assigns sensitive tasks to, like Yuuta's parentage. I think Ijichi is legitimately in the inner circle for Gojo, and I kept that consistent for sea glass gardens.
Ijichi wasn't a Teen Parent the way the rest of the Teen Parenting Trio was. He was their underclassman, but he had never been a part of the core group of Geto, Gojo, Shoko, Haibara, and Nanami because he arrived after things went to shit, and also he almost immediately changed tracks to becoming an assistant because Gojo told him he was fucking useless as a sorcerer and going to die (canonically). As a result, he didn't have the same history with Gojo as Nanami and Shoko did when he adopted the Fushiguros. He wasn't invited to the PTA nights or to fuck off with the kids that one time they all packed up and ran when Megumi and Tsumiki were still tiny.
That being said, he was very much involved with the Fushiguros from a young age. He adores them.
Initially, he was just a sort of defacto babysitter. He liked the kids a lot and wanted the best for them, even if he wasn't treated as a part of the core family. And it's actually the way that he treated megumi and tsumiki that led him to becoming part of the core group.
So, based on what's been said in sea glass, we know that the Zenin initially didn't know that Megumi was the Ten Shadows and gave him up with minimal grumbling. Then, they found out what his techinque was and lost their shit.
This isn't going to be said in sea glass, but in my mind, Gojo didn't tell the Zenin that Megumi had the Ten Shadows. He was spotted at the school by Naoya.
Megumi just didn't know that it was a big deal to have his shikigami out. He was tiny. He didn't know they were anything special. He had his puppies out with him while he was waiting for Gojo on school grounds, and Naoya saw them, and he just laughed and started dragging Megumi off to the car lot. He didn't hate Megumi back then. He didn't like him, but he didn't know him yet either. He was Toji's boy, and of course Toji's boy would have the Shadows. Of course. He was vaguely planning to bring the Shadows home and get one over on Gojo, giving him the leverage he needed to kick his eldest brother down the ladder, and he didn't really care about how megumi was thrashing and kicking and trying to get free. It barely registered.
In my mind, Ijichi's the one that interfered.
He almost got his ass beat. Like, he was very close to having that four year old boy intervene on his behalf now because Naoya had him by the shirt against a car and was about to make sure Ijichi met god, and Megumi was always this feral biting child who was more than willing to have his puppies rip someone's fucking head off. But he was the one that saw Naoya dragging Megumi off, and he was the one that got in his way in defense of Megumi. Granted, Gojo was the one who had to show up and actually stop Naoya, but Ijichi went after Naoya knowing he could never win that fight. He did it to protect Megumi.
That's the first thing that led Gojo to trust him.
The second happened when the incident that made Gojo cut off the Zenin permanently. Everyone lost their goddamn minds. The Zenin wanted Megumi back yesterday, and the higher ups wanted Gojo to back off and return him. Yaga sided with the higher ups, because he thought that this wasn't a fight they could win.
Ijichi sided with Gojo and the kids. He didn't care if it was a fight they could win. He had never cared about whether he could win a fight when it came to protecting the Fushiguro siblings. He never could win the fights he took up for them. He just did it anyway.
Those kids were his little buddies. He babysat them regularly. He loved them fiercely. And he didn't care that he was a shit sorcerer doomed to get himself killed if he ever fought. Those were his kids.
He thinks of them vaguely in this sort of younger cousin role. He's not their parent and doesn't think of himself as such, but he's watched them grow and thinks of them as his family.
Since the Zenin incident when Megumi was a little kid, Ijichi has been the only assistant trusted with having any contact whatsoever with them--until recently. Back then, they cut Megumi and Tsumiki off from almost all contact with the wider jujutsu world for their own protection. The Zenin would do anything to get close to Megumi again, so they wouldn't let anyone near him at all. Over the years, Gojo has slowly let a few very select people from the jujutsu world have contact, but no one who he hasn't personally vetted. A few of his most trusted students, so Megumi could have more sorcerer influences in his life. Kamo Noritoshi, because Gojo thought that Megumi needed friends and made the dazzlingly poor judgment call that he would like Kamo. But Ijichi was the only assistant allowed anywhere near Megumi or his sister. Gojo didn't trust that the Zenin wouldn't bribe assistants to spy on them.
About six months before the start of sea glass gardens, Gojo decided to lift the ban and allow other assistants to have contact with them. He regrets that now.
Megumi's been cut off from the wider jujutsu world for almost his entire childhood. Like, he knows plenty about jujutsu sorcery, to be clear. He goes on missions regularly and his tutors in sorcery are three of the most valuable sorcerers alive at the moment. But he wasn't exactly rubbing elbows with the masses. He stopped going to the school after the Zenin incident. He only met the very select few that Gojo personally introduced him to. He didn't go to the Zenin compound or the Gojo compound or the Kamo compound. It was all for his protection, but they knew that it wasn't something they could sustain when he hit high school.
High school meant reentering the jujutsu world. It meant the Zenin having the first glimpse of him since they lost custody of him. They knew that shit would hit the fan and that the Zenin would try to make contact again--not to mention the other parties in their world interested in the Ten Shadows.
They wanted to ease Megumi back into the jujutsu world in what they thought was a low-risk way. They started letting a few other assistants than Ijichi convey messages to the Fushiguros when they were needed. That was it. He thought it was a baby step towards testing the waters that wouldn't have blown up the way it did.
In a few months, Gojo was planning to introduce Megumi to his upperclassmen. He was going to bring a few of them by to meet Megumi on his turf first. Yuuta was his top choice for this, and maybe Inumaki. Maki was trickier because she was Zenin. He was planning to bring him by the school before he officially started, but was secretly hesitant because Megumi hadn't been to the school since the time the Zenin beat him badly enough to hospitalize him.
He was trying to reintegrate Megumi slowly, because maybe then he could spot the ways the Zenin tried to worm their way back into his life and put a stop to them. He thought they'd pay people to spy on him, maybe hang around the school trying to make contact again.
He never thought they'd use one of the assistants to cut off contact to him, kidnap Megumi when he was too busy to realize Megumi was gone, and immediately fucking kill him.
He wishes he still only allowed Ijichi near them. This wouldn't have happened then.
Gojo would never admit this out loud, but the way the Zenin treat Megumi legitimately terrifies him. He's used to his own childhood as the Gojo's beloved godling--it wasn't a healthy childhood, and it was a little dehumanizing, but they'd never dare lay a hand on him. The Zenin treat Megumi like he's a toy they're trying to break. They scream about Gojo stealing him from them like he's their cherished prince, but whenever they have him, they nearly shatter him.
He almost didn't go get Megumi. He almost didn't save him. There's a world out there where Megumi is the little godling of the Zenin clan and has no one to protect him from the people who were supposed to love him, because Gojo never took him in.
Gojo thinks about it a lot.
Right now, Ijichi's right back to being the only assistant that is allowed in spitting distance of Gojo's kids. He and Shoko were the only people Gojo told, and he's been integral to arranging everything while this is going on. They're operating on minimal manpower. Nanami refuses to leave the campus while Megumi's bedridden (though no one would ask him to) because Megumi needs someone on campus to protect him constantly. Shoko is stuck treating him. they need Gojo to look for the cure, and he's trying to spend as much time as possible with Megumi because that's his kid in the hospital bed.
Ijichi's running interference on literally everything else. He's integral to Team Save Megumi right now, even if he hasn't shown up yet in sea glass gardens. That's because he's busy doing the legwork.
He got to see Megumi briefly while Yuuta was asleep. He sat with him for a little while. He'd be with him now were he not so busy trying to help find his cure.
And he is. so stressed. He's developing a new ulcer right now. the man is not okay.

finally someone who actually understands inuokko and doesn't mischaracterize as an alpha sigma male and Toge as an uwu boy! bestie you don't know how happy I am that you came up on my fyp.
omg hi anon !! 🥺🫶
i love analyzing characters way before any shipping, i could actually read nothing but found family fics because i just feel like they always catch the perfect dynamic. with yuuta and toge specifically, i do feel like you can appreciate aspects of how their dynamic is on an appearance level or how they fit certain popular tropes, but i don’t think it’s the driving force behind what makes them so good together.
i do acknowledge that if we default to the stereotypical gay men tropes without tangible reason, it’s more indicative of getting used to knowing how to write LGBT+ relationships and tending to default to what we might be used to in straight relationships. i say that without any offense intended, it’s just a part of the writing process. especially with toge as a character, who has so much of his characterization sprinkled outside of the manga and anime. a lot of his backstory and characteristics are derived from the fun facts, light novel, and now even the unreleased game has given us so much more content. but i also think that’s why he’s so popular, there’s so much freedom in exploring him, especially if you haven’t discovered the existing content. taking that with yuuta who is honestly a fan favorite of the chad dude straight bros and gets a little too much ‘alpha male’ treatment from them, it can be a little confusing. (it kills me a little to see some one say he’s an alpha male with a bad attitude and smoking guns when manga panels will literally have him looking like this (・・?) 😭)
i do have preferences in how both yuuta and toge are portrayed, but that’s just because i care about them so much as individual characters.
for me, toge is soft and kind, but he was also born as a weapon and has spent his life sacrificing himself over and over. you can still have that softness and kindness, even more so when experiencing certain things, but there’s also a degree of hardening from trauma. i do characterize him to be less overtly an instigator lol, but that’s personal preference in how i see him combined with canon material. i find a lot of his trolling to be slipped in and more of a double take than full on gremlin, but that’s less mischaracterization and more preference. i find his relationship with living and death so, so interesting, especially in how he tries to shield the first-years and yuuta from having any kind of blood on their hands. it implicates him to have done that very thing, and he spends his life silencing himself because of it. i do believe his language barrier is almost a relief, because it acts almost as a self-imposed wall. but despite that wall, he still reaches out because while he himself is okay being alone, the thought of someone like yuuta, someone he sees as exactly like him, suffering by himself is painful to him.
for yuuta, i am a big advocate for the continued acknowledgment of his anxiety, depression, and low key craziness. he had a normal childhood, but that somehow makes the transition to everything with rika so much worse. because he had that normalcy and it was shattered completely. he’s hurt, maimed, and killed people both unintentionally and intentionally. but he sees it as necessary in protecting the people he cares about the most. in a lot of ways, i think his dubious morality and how far he’s willing to go is an expression of his love. for example, killing getou in his eyes is the ultimate act of service to gojo, so he himself would not have to kill him. his character is such a juxtaposition compared to everyone we’ve been introduced to. here you have these child soldiers, ready and willing to sacrifice themselves, where death and suffering is more feasible than ever living their life to entirely. then they give us yuuta, who wants to live so badly in happiness that he’s willing to inflict and do everything for and against their society. it’s almost an unhealthy relationship to a degree, but it’s the only kind of relationship any of them know how to have.
together they work so well, because like i’ve said before, they defy each other’s expectations in what they ever believed they could have or deserve. despite their rough edges, the blood on their hands, the years they’ve lost to fighting battles they never started, they treat each other so gently. as if they are the better half, yet simultaneously knowing exactly how much they have done. yuuta who sees violence almost as a love letter, who absorbs toge’s curse as if it’s something to admire and adore. toge who sees himself as unforgivable in his crimes, who self-enforces isolation and barriers yet took a step out just to comfort yuuta from a mild spell of anxiety, because he couldn’t stand to see him suffer even in a minor degree.
i have so many feelings about them so i’m so glad that they come across the way i want them to !! i love all content, and i’m always willing to share my thoughts, but ty so much for the validation bestie, i’m sure i’m eating up your content as well !! 🥺

I'll definitely write a one-shot about this, but I headcanon Toge was forced to shut up when he was still a toddler, around 2 or 3 years old; before that, he was basically spouting gibberish, like most babies, so of course it would be rare for his cursed speech to affect people— I don't think he would have been powerful enough either way, and what could a 'Mama' do to anybody?
When he was a bit older, though, barely a toddler but now learning actual words, he probably misused his cursed speech and ended up hurting someone or something; it led to the entire family making sure he doesn't say a word anymore, shushing him or forcefully putting their hands on his mouth, even when he just wanted to have a good laugh— He also got the tattoos during that time, and although he doesn't remember the pain, he remembers the dread.
Tumblr media
If we follow this headcanon, this probably means Toge has speech issues: he was never allowed to speak, therefore always struggles a bit saying new words— He knows commands and ingredients by heart now, and he spent so much time using them that they easily roll off his tongue; however, ask him to pronounce any other word, or even someone's name, and he'll struggle a bit.
He'll stutter, will feel the sound getting stuck on his tongue, and you'll see his teeth clench in frustration before he either gets it out in a shout, or gives up and zones out the rest of the day.
On this note, he knows how to pronounce Yuuta's name; what no one knows, though, is how much time he spent trying to correct it from "Yuuda" to "Yuuta" with a T, getting rid of the stutter on the second syllable, clenching his fingers in his hair in frustration— Because he's not mute but would rather be, why can't he pronounce two syllables correctly? He also tried with Maki's name, but kept stuttering on the M; Panda? The sound doesn't get out, it's stuck in his throat, sticking on his tongue unless he shouts it and loudly breathes in right after.
He doesn't even try with Nobara, Megumi and Yuuji; no one expects him to.
Megumi did catch him trying to say "Bunny" after he had summoned some while training; Toge was petting one, trying to get the sounds out naturally, like anyone else would— Megumi went back to training right after. This felt too private, and he knows not to pry, especially when it comes to Inumaki.

I'm new to the jjk fandom, and it seems that the fandom likes to compare yuuji with yuuta, as well as yuuji and megumi and calling them the better character? like I get that there's always a rivalry in shounen anime, but why do the fandom seem to underestimate yuuji so much? I love yuuji but it's sad that he's receiving so much shit when he's actually doing so well, considering he just joined as a sorcerer not too long ago. what do you think about this as someone who loves yuuji too?
Ah, the plight of Yuuji fans. My sympathies, anon. I very much understand the frustration 😔
I get why people would like Yuuta or Megumi more. That always comes down to a matter of taste, and honestly, I like Megumi a lot and generally find Yuuta amusing/entertaining. I can easily see why people would stan them (and let's be real, every character has someone stanning them). "Better" character in terms of the actual narrative is more of an objective measure, and I'll kill and cannibalize on the hill of it being Yuuji. My personal ranking is Yuuji > Megumi > Yuuta when it comes to these three characters' writing and their roles in the overall narrative.
The funny part is that, unlike most shonen, there's barely any rivalry within the narrative. Yuuta and Yuuji respect each other and get along well, and while Megumi seems to want to catch up to Yuuji, you never get the sense that it's for the sake of power; it's more like he wants to stand with Yuuji.
And that right there is how I mostly cope. I love canon, and despite some of the dubious writing decisions lately, I'm still in love with these characters and storylines. That makes it relatively easy to go "well, you're entitled to your wrong opinions" when I see spectacularly bad takes. I also try my best to curate my fandom experience, though that's easier on Tumblr than Reddit (which is where I find most of the pointless comparison posts and thinly veiled wankfests masquerading as meta). I still see shit and snap, which you can see on my blog sometimes. But I have a good number of friends in JJK who also love Yuuji, so I usually just stroll into their DMs to rant about people misunderstanding or mischaracterizing him.
Overall, I'm pretty set in my fandom opinions and used to just doing my own thing in a corner with like-minded fandom folks. The rest gets ignored unless I'm directly addressed.
Good luck navigating the JJK waters, anon! For what it's worth, there are a lot of us who adore Yuuji. I hope you find plenty of kindred souls and enjoy yourself. And think of it this way—the only person who undermines Yuuji in canon is Sukuna, and that's the same guy who blocked Yuuji's punch with three whole arms. He's in denial.

jjk headcanons ( as people in a class)
ft. Toge, maki, yuuta, nanami, todo and sukuna.
pt 2 of jjk headcanons ( as people in a class ) pt 1 here
my masterlist here
( should be studying for exams but procrastination so oh well)
Toge we all know hes such a sweet misunderstood boy. We love him tho. He's definitely gonna have either the worst grades you've ever seen or he's gonna be in the deans list ( honours list? depends where ya'll at) we all know how he talks in ingredients, but that's not gonna stop him from having a bunch of friends that hang out around him just for his aura yk. He's gonna be the sweetest boy and he'll remind you of a little cat. His handwriting, it's gonna be so cute. i feel like he has little stars on the Is instead of the usual tittle. he writes small and slightly cramped but it is so easy to read. When writing essays i feel like he'll have so many pages of all these tiny tiny words. I think he's definitely got an affinity for the sciences and maths. I think that there would definitely be many people who would be interested in him romantically, but he's only going to have eyes for one person. ( maybe i'll write a fic abt that ( x reader maybe ) )
Maki Zenin
def a girl boss. so proud and pretty. I think she would be a jock like yuuji but man shes got some of the best grades you'll ever see. she's gonna be really intimidating to everyone when she first introduces herself in class, but that isn't going to stop a bunch of guys from going up to her and being rejected ( lmao at their pain) her handwriting i think, would be like close to calligraphy. She's so extra like megumi but special in her own way, like her z's would be crossed. I think that she would be quite good at drama and acting but her preference would be in musical theatre, and hell she's good at it.
Yuuta
quiet boy reborn. Man, he's gotta be the most awkwardest boy you're ever gonna know, but he's also very shy and kind. Would not hesitate to beat someone up if they've hurt his friend. personally, he would be the one i would like to be friends with. His grades are above average for someone who doesn't spend a lot of time studying, and his friends get so annoyed about that. His handwriting would be cute and childish, but still really neat. I think that his laptop background would be a collection of images of his friends, like him and rika when they were really young, and everyone else is several different locations. When you first see it you instantly know he's a really good friend, and would cherish everyone. Gotta paint his nails. idk but i would want to so badly
Nanami
he's practically the professor. Super serious, constantly asking questions and getting answers right. His exams results are like in the 99 percentile which is like insane. HE is so consistent with his grades, like damn bro what else you do with life?? He looks so tired and done with life half of the time or he's just sipping on his coffee. I think he drinks two cups of pure expresso in the morning and has a cup of tea for the rest of day, in his fancy little cup. His handwriting, i don't know how to describe it but it's like so extra. Definitely prioritises his handwriting over contents of notes but he does well either way.
Todo
you would never see him in class. He's got like some crazy excuses, but i swear you're not even aware he's in your class until you get paired up for something and he's like, "wanna meet up? if you get it wrong Im doing it myself" I think he would be so annoying to work with but like if you're friends with him he would actually be quite helpful. You would have no idea what his handwriting is like. He's never written a thing in his life for school and he's happy about that. He skips out on school a lot to go see the model meets like takada. No clue how he even passed high school if ur in uni together.
sukuna
bro if i was in school or uni with this man i would instantly drop out. He's a fucking pain in the ass and i hate him sm rn. But i'm sticking to the head-cannon. His grades- probably pretty good, maybe like a genius or something but so irritating. His looks gain the attention of many girls, but his misogynistic and shitty personality pushes a lot of people away. He's a pain to work with for group projects, would totally run off and do the work himself and get everything wrong and blame everyone else for not doing anything when he wouldn't let you help. He's fine, but like not impressed with him. His handwriting would be old and traditional and if you live in japan, he would write in traditional Japanese. and practically no one knows what he's writing.
lemme know if you have any suggestions for anything else i should write! hope ya'll enjoyed, have a nice day/night!

hello yuwuta! i just read yuuta okkotsu's declassified jujutsu tech survival guide and i wanted to tell you that you are an incredible writer. you understand all of the characters so well and bring them to life in your aus so well. i am in awe of you. one of my favorite parts of the fic was that reader has a domain expansion, if you don't mind, expanding (heh) on that? what are the details of her technique other than healing and healing shikigami?
vibrating at intense frequencies trying to be normal about this ask bc omgeee. first of all, thank you for the sweet words, i’m so happy you enjoyed the fic 🫶 when i first started writing, i just knew i wanted reader to have rct as the kind of antithesis to all of yuuta’s cursed energy in a kinda opposites attract way, but the more i wrote the more i wanted them to be complements—so i wanted yuuta to learn rct and reader to be able to fight/take missions unlike shoko (queen) and in the end, if you couldn’t tell, i pulled inspiration from naruto… LOL
as for domain expansion, it’s supposed to be like a twist/play on words of the phrase “sterile field” like you would have in an operating room/medical setting, but for reader it’s a literal field or meadow like situation, and instead of having various medical assistance staff and/or tools, she has her shikigami. idk if in jjk you can technically get new shikigami but in naruto you sort of can lololol. it’s supposed to be a place for (guaranteed) healing those who are severely injured with little to no interruption or infection which is kind of the opposite of a domain expansion, but then i realized it could also allow for a guaranteed critical hit, it would just be… malpractice LOL but hey if the double glove fits… so, while everything in the domain can/should be used for healing, it can also be used to harm (like i imagine the individual blades of grass can be turned into surgical blades in her hand, i think in the fic reader mentions being able to make the bees sting/cause anaphylaxis and not just use their honey for healing, things like that)
for everything reader knows how to heal/fix, she also knows about 10 ways or things that could break or kill someone, so even tho rct/medicine is mainly used defensively or for aiding others, i imagine it could be pretty damaging in the wrong (or right?) hands, and then reader was born ❤️
i also subconsciously assc yuuta w medicine for this reason... do no harm but only for those he cares about… otherwise harm will occur xoxo
