no but the thing is. they KISSED. on screen. it was a real scene, not deleted, not removed from a script, it HAPPENED in front of the world's eyes. and AND the actors are normal about it and the whole cast and crew is normal about it and it's not vague and it's IMPORTANT. no matter the rest of it and what came after it, it happened!!

Good Omens Season 2 - A Companion to Owls

So you know how in folklore, revealing your full name to Faeries was considered incredibly dangerous? As in, they could have power and control over you- to enchant or even change who you are all because of a name.

This lore doesn’t seem present in TWST, but I’m also sobbing at Silver, who if he even had an “original” name from the Knight of Dawn and Princess Leia, that name is likely lost to time. And even more, Silver clearly has no last name given in the main game

So in folklore, there were Fae tricking humans so they could “steal” their name and take power over them. But in Twisted Wonderland, would it be the Fae voluntarily gifting their own names to Silver? Like “Silver Vanrouge” where the relationship of father and son between Lilia and Silver is finally recognized by both of them. Or even the possibility of ‘Draconia’ being an additional last name since Malleus also became a son to Lilia. As an acknowledgment for their love as a family.

I would unironically love if Silver had an incredibly “clunky” name made up from the various Fae that we know. Like this family, this connection, isn’t perfect but the love is there. And it’s all represented in his name that’s stitched together by Fae from all walks of life, whose paths managed to cross just in time to meet this human boy

Sometimes I'm sitting there, and then I remember that they literally kissed. There is canon plot of them pressing their corporeal lips together in an act of desperation, and it legitimately exists.

And it TAKES me a fucking moment.

Don’t tell me that Crowley, extremely powerful demon who can stop time, control the weather, create a nebula, shapeshift, resurrect a person and miracle pretty much anything he wants, couldn’t have gotten a new apartment in all those years since Armageddont and was forced to live in his car. I don’t buy it. He could’ve gotten a new place at any time, but maybe he just wanted to live at one particular place and was waiting for someone to invite him to move in, because if the request had come from him it would’ve been overstepping. And maybe part of the reason as to why he was so glum at the beginning of season 2 is because he was still waiting

Aziraphale didn’t look surprised when Crowley mentioned that he was living in his car and also helped him move his plants in and out of the Bentley several times, so he knew that Crowley was sleeping in his car. Maybe he did consider offering Crowley to live with him but was scared, too. Scared that he wasn’t ready (an echo of “you go too fast for me Crowley”), or scared that it might have been too big of a step for the both of them, since most of the times they’d interacted in the past was because their respective missions had pushed them to collaborate. There had always been some sort of excuse to spend time together. Now they had none, and neither of them had the courage to take the first step towards the other, afraid of crossing a line and compromising the fragile equilibrium they’d established throughout the 6000 years of their existences

That’s why Crowley’s confession at the end of season 2 is so so important and meaningful. It’s the first moment since the literal dawn of time that one of them acknowledged what they are to each other out loud

You know it absolutely doesn't help that for some reason I have a thing for attractive noses (my friends have been making fun of me for that for Years) and then here's this TV show that stars bloody michael sheen and david tennant aka THE people who have THE ABSOLUTE NOSES and you expected me to be normal about it????

Feeling angsty about the Angel again…

Aziraphale was horrified to give Crowley holy water. He wouldn’t hear of it, he was terrified at the thought of Crowley using it. He didn’t want to give Crowley “a suicide pill,” in his own words.

He was always terrified what Hell would do to Crowley throughout history. If Hell found out they’d been consorting and fraternizing…“They’ll destroy you.”

He was holding onto Crowley in Edinburg, totally and hopelessly in love having watched Crowley display more kindness and compassion and self-sacrifice than any angels Aziraphale knows, when Hell quite literally ripped him out of his arms.

He fell in love with Crowley the moment he met the Starmaker. Even then, he warned Crowley of the dangers of questioning God. Aziraphale has always just wanted Crowley to be okay, to be safe.

Think about it… Aziraphale met Crowley Pre-fall. Aziraphale wanted to keep Crowley safe even back then, “word to the wise,” and couldn’t protect him. He saw or heard about the Fall—one day Crowley was there, the next Aziraphale is hearing (or worse: watching) him be cast down to this new place full of unspeakable and terrifying horrors called Hell. Crowley’s fall was obviously traumatic for Crowley and the fandom does a wonderful job acknowledging that, but how traumatic is it to watch someone you love Fall? To be totally helpless in that scenario?

To watch this beautiful creature be cast out and labeled as unforgivable, to hear them accept that and start calling themselves unforgivable when you never thought they did anything to warrant a need for forgiveness in the first place. “I knew the Angel you were.” I know you didn’t deserve any of this.

All he has ever wanted is for Crowley to be ok, to be safe. I read another meta where someone said Aziraphale purposely made the Bentley “our car” so Hell couldn’t pop in and grab Crowley anymore (property of an Angel + Shax couldn’t pop in anymore = safety), and told Crowley to watch the bookshop since he’s safe in there. Honestly I wouldn’t put it past Az to think that far ahead (he is intelligent and gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide).

These are a lot of half-baked ideas but I hope y’all see what I mean: Aziraphale wants Crowley safe because he has loved Crowley for 6,000 years, and in turn worried about Crowley for just as long. He just wants to take care of his love but the current systems of power in place make that utterly impossible and I think that breaks his heart every single day. I think the worry has been eating away at Aziraphale for 6,000—having such constant real and intense fear for your loved ones well-being is traumatic.

i really don't know what 'i love you' means. i think it means, 'don't leave me here alone.'

There’s nothing like having a everlasting life-altering epiphany just because someone asks you if you’re getting it on with your bestie.

No but if, instead of this scene being Azirphale realizing his love for Crowley, it was him realizing Crowley loves him back Aziraphale's seen Crowley swoop in to rescue him tons of times throughout history. And he has known Crowley to "tempt" him several times, just as a pretext to spend time together. But this, saving his books outright with no other ulterior motive other than just to make Aziraphale happy, well obviously he would react like that when he finds out.

literally the only thing worse than if crowley doesn’t call aziraphale “angel” ONCE in s3 if they interact before they’re crowley and aziraphale again is if crowley DOES call him “Angel” . with the capital letter and the tonal shift . bc that’s what he is . an angel . yknow . because he wanted to be part of heaven again so badly .

please don't catcall crowley while he and aziraphale are having a serious conversation; the angel really enjoys how close their faces get when they have to whisper, and will assume you have fiendish intentions and go on the defensive if you interrupt the moment.

i'm a guy who likes thick lines in my art, i've noticed, so when i accidentally drew an extremely arizacrow pose during gesture practice, i thought it would be a fun opportunity to try something new, mainly thin lineart. however, the call of home sings loud, and i ended up chicken-scratching my way into essentially having thick linework again. 🤷💅😔
