What I read this week:
*Again these are things I managed to read between last weekend and this weekend and is not meant to make anyone feel bad but I want to also hype others up!
I Can Feel The Flames On My Skin (Crimson Red Paint On My Lips) by @xxmoonch1ldxx Ian/Anthony - Spicy! This is long and hot as hell and has a ton of kinks in it, but it is SO good and also has these soft little moments woven in-between. Also this was written for my birthday <3
love is stored in the soup by @shaynetopps - Ian/Anthony - super cute and so sweet and based on Ian confessing his feelings over cooking soup with Anthony!!
Thighs on his mind by @japhan2024 - Ian/Anthony - A longing and pining Anthony and it has some very good realistic mentions of aspects of their relationship and parts of their life! Also spicy!
Careful what you wish for by @hecoxthirst - Ian/Anthony - WOW! Based on the popular idea of present ianthony switching places with past!ianthony and it's so cute and a good reflection of their past and present and the growth involved.
(If You Want Me To Stay For The Rest Of My Life) You Got Me by @xxmoonch1ldxx -Ian/Anthony - super interesting because it deals with the idea of safe word usage and aftercare and I feel like that is not shown a lot in fan fiction, but is very realistic. I also really like how it deals with Anthony's internalized issues with how he's been treated based on his looks.
Hypothetically Yes (Theoretically Forever) by @xxmoonch1ldxx - Ian/Anthony - so sweet and soft. It is fluff and is ianthony waking up the day after they got married and they are husbands and UGHHH. It is SO CUTE.
You've Been Bitten By Something Hungrier Than you by @xxmoonch1ldxx - Ian/Anthony. This is spicy and Anthony has tentacles and it is HOT and also will make you go like "oh wow, oh fuck." and has BOTH bottom!ian and bottom!anthony so!
the sun will shine on this heart of mine by @blondeforyou - Ian/Anthony - THIS IS SO SWEET. So cute! Such a soft and simple idea and full of little moments that make me scream.
Ivy and forget-me-nots by @hecoxthirst - Ian/Anthony SOULMATE AU!! WITH AMAZING ART!! This was made for me in the smoshblr valentines exchange and I love it so, so much and it almost made me cry so!!!
Hold Me Tight by Anonymous - Ian/Anthony a good ol' fashioned pwp with ianthony. it is spicy and if the author is on smoshblr I want to encourage you to not be embarrassed and keep writing!

An insight to my week this week -
I re-watched folklore: the long pond studio sessions, and it was such a pick-me-up
I finished reading Patti Smith's Just Kids
I watched Anne, a mothers fight for justice for her son killed at Hillsborough
I watched Never Let Him Go about Scott Johnson's death and how his brother never gave up to find out the truth. Scott's story is just one of many from Sydney's coastal suburbs at the time where many gay men were killed or went missing
I read some insightful articles on the Referendum and the Israel and Palestine conflict that I wanted to share
I read an article about Supreme Court Justice Roberts that I thought was a great insight into the ethical issues facing the court at the moment.
I had a great week of learning different things and delving into different issues - I hope you did too!

#dungeon meshi#laois touden#marcille donato#senshi#chilchuk tims#Anne II#I am over a week late to make this relevant but dear god I love the kelpie chapter.#if not for the several layers of foreshadowing then the reveal that nearly everyone in the party is a passionate horse lover.#Truly the best part of dungeon meshi is the sheer love of horses each character has. Fantastic equines by Ryoko Kui.#Chilchuck gets to be a little wary given what goes down in the bicorn chapter.#Rest in peace Anne I and Anne II. You were beautiful horses.#The pain I felt upon re-reading dungeon meshi and realizing that Senshi called the kelpie Anne...Hurts bad!#By the way I have strong feeling about MLP AU with these characters - but I would like to assert that Senshi is earth pony coded#and chilchuck is pegasus coded. I was struggling to draw my vision and went with whatever my pen chose.#Laios is a griffin because...come on if he made a MLP AU of his friends he would be nothing else.

#ace attorney#where are all the people gnawing on phoenix's bones so white??#i need to find the phoenix bone-gnawing corner of this fandom PLEASE#this is me asking for the Phoenix Fic btw#where is the fic meditating on phoenix's whole mental state in general?#where is the fic about how it's phoenix's cageyness and poker face and flat affect under stress that is the hurdle?#the relationship ramifications of being actually really fucking hard to read when it comes down to it?#where is the fic about the week of his disbarment?#the one detailing the panicked blow by blow of it rippling through his social circle while he stands in the eye of the storm?#the one that ends messy and anxious and unresolved because it's week 1 of 7 years?#where is the birth of phoenix wright: poker legend fic?#where is the art school/theatre major phoenix fic?#no not the able to art/act phoenix fic but the kind of person who chooses to go to art school/study theatre phoenix fic#where is the supremely disinterested in pop culture phoenix fic?#where is the actually incredibly meticulous and competent phoenix fic?#capcom can tell me all they want that he's essentially an adhd disaster flying by the seat of his pants making it all up as he goes#but that's not what they're actually showing me#they're the ones who created an in-fiction legal system that functionally necessitates that#and the nature of the game is that phoenix is almost always proven right so rather than him coming off as hare-brained#his opponents rather just come off as short-sighted. either negligently or maliciously so#and the choices the writing makes in service of retaining mystery and audience suspense in fact function to make phoenix a person#who is astute and puts the pieces together but is cautious in his conclusions#i will grant them that phoenix does tend to lose sight of his overarching goal in getting drawn into proving or disproving minor points#the fact that edgeworth on the other hand never loses sight of this or where the various arguments stand in relation to it#is his sexiest trait as a character by far#but those minor points are actually functionally critical to the ultimate argument phoenix makes#so even though i do read that trait through the game mechanics i do also judge the other characters for being dicks about it#my point is phoenix wright does in fact have the character of a lawyer and is conventionally good at his job fucking fight me#my point is that you all have had 20 goddamn years to Rotate this man#my POINT is that there should be Intricate Fucked Up Meditations On Phoenix that rewire my fucking brain and i NEED to know where they are!

House M.D. but it's when Wilson says House's name
#house md#james wilson#prince's talk tag#finally!!! it's done! this and the house version took almost two weeks to do#first off thank you to the clinic-duty team on livejournal for making the transcripts for these episodes#because this video would be near impossible to make without their clear transcripts. I hope y'all are doing well#ive been reading a lot of fics with these two and i see how the authors have the characters refer to each other in their fics#and that got me wondering how much do they say each other's name in the show and how do they refer to each other#since this is the wilson video ill put his stats here#s1 was 11 times s2 was 18 s3 was 45 s4 was 32 s5 was 41 s6 was 60 s7 was 47 and s8 was 48#in total he says his name 302 times. Mostly refers to him just by House#the only time I've heard him say his first name its when he's being professional or when he's really angry (and that one time he proposed)#and even then it's always the full name not just the first name#the only instance I've seen him use just his first name was on that note he put on House's xmas gift that we see in season 5#and as much as I wanted to put that moment in here he never actually says the contents of the note out loud so i had to leave it out#but what surprised me was he says House's name more than House says his name#especially when the earlier seasons didn't have him say his name as much
