Taylor Swift song theory I can’t get out of my brain
Okay so quick disclaimer, Taylor’s songs can be whatever you want them to be about, and obviously, we won’t know the full story of any of her songs. This is all just my thoughts
Anyways
I have a theory about the relationship between bigger than the whole sky and would’ve could’ve should’ve. In bigger than the whole sky, Taylor is talking about saying goodbye to something, something (or someone) she wishes she had time with. In would’ve could’ve should’ve she talks about losing her girlhood and wishing she could have her past back. My theory is that in Bigger than the whole sky she is talking about the girl she would’ve been if the things in would’ve could’ve should’ve never happened.
Okay, my first reason is kinda obvious. There is a reference to would’ve could’ve should’ve in bttws. But if you even read this whole chorus and this about her losing her girlhood, IT MAKES SENSE. her time before would’ve could’ve should’ve (if its about speak now drama basically pre that album) is viewed as this like young innocent time. So that time when she was first growing as an artist and gaining popularity her life felt BIGGER THAN THE WHOLE SKY. Also would’ve could’ve should’ve is literally about her being older and thinking about that time. MEANING SHES GOT A LOT TO PINE ABOUT WHEN SHE LOST HER GIRLHOOD>
Okay next reason is this lyric in bttws.
This relates to the lyrics in would’ve could’ve should’ve
Meaning if she had stayed praying and being this good girl maybe none of this never would have happened and she wouldnt say goodbye to her past.
I’m sure there’s a lot more I could relate this too if I literally went lyric by lyric but I have like no motivation to do so. Anyway its just a thought, as I said before, we will never know the whole story, Taylor deserves her privacy

I am OBSESSED with the interior of this thing. LOOK AT IT. It looks like a perfectly preserved Star Trek TOS set instead of an actual ship that briefly carried actual passengers via nuclear power in the sixties.
