For those who don't know, Kushala is an Apache Sorcerer Supreme AND a Spirit of Vengeance. After colonizers killed her village, she was possessed by a Spirit of Vengeance and spent the rest of her life studying magic to understand her curse. This endless study is what made her a Sorcerer Supreme.

Kushala doesn't seem like the kind of minifig LEGO would ever make, so I took the liberty of doing it for them.

Ghost Rider extra - The Spirit Rider

Kushala was an Apache woman who lived in the mid-1800s. Her tribe were attacked by the United States Army and her family was killed. Vowing vengeance, Kushala's prayed to her creator god for a means of obtaining retribution. These prayers were instead answered by the Sprit of Vengeance which chose to imbue young Kushala with the awesome powers of the Demon Rider.

Overwhelmed by these new abilities, Kushala laid waste to the army regiment who had attacked her tribe. The men were destroyed and burned to ash. She was shocked by her actions and came to realize that she had been cursed by the Spirit of Vengeance. She traveled the world seeking out and studying different forms of magic in an attempt to understand this curse.

Sh accrued great knowledge and wisdom, gaining the ability to control the spirit within her. As her skills as a sorcerer enhanced she was ultimately named the Sorcerer Supreme of her era.

An adventure alongside Merlin resulted in Kushala being sent forward in time to the present era of the Marvel Universe Here she teamed up with Dr. Strange to help ward off the evil of Malekith the Accursed. Thereafter, she helped Johnny Blaze exorcize a demon that had gained possession of him.

Following further adventure, Kushala returned to the past and raised a family, becoming a legend and source of inspiration for those that came after her. A conflict with Doctor Doom through time and space, however, she saw Kushala once again return to the 21st century.

Kushala the Spirit Rider first appeared in Doctor Strange and the Sorcerers Supreme #1 (2016).

P.S: Well, to be fair, Dormammu is probably not even in the Dark Dimension (or maybe he is), because it's a little confusing to understand who's in charge of the Dark Dimension these days. However, I don't think Clea would send the Midnight Suns to a realm where Dormammu is ruling... right?
