Superbat parenting babies would be a breeze in my humble opinion. Bruce's medically well-versed enough and immune to even enhanced interrogation levels of sleeplessness, and loves kids and would probably be happy reading them stories to sleep every night.

And Clark could always tell if the kid swallowed fridge magnets/batteries/something else. Also, tell me which baby wouldn't enjoy Clark's presence and calmness. They'd be like little hamsters cajoled by the steadiness of his hold.

#I think Clark has demonstrated pretty great parenting and he's also immensely kind while balancing out certain rules #And toddlers would beg to be flown around.#maybe this is too optimistic #considering that B's track record with kids isn't perfect #but I genuinely believe they have a decent shot #I feel like the gentleness and kindness of Thomas from Batman Begins is kind of a good example of what I'd picture a calmer Bruce's mentall #stable parenting to be like #batman #superman #superbat #clark kent #bruce wayne #and I'm also willfully ignoring some stuff/chalking it up to questionable writing/can't be bothered to make sense of everything that's cano

no asoiaf character has ever been more doomed than Lady the direwolf. with most characters you can always rationalize their fate with "oh if they had done this instead of that then things might have been different they would still be alive the war wouldn't have happened etc etc". but with Lady there is just no plausible scenario in which she doesn't end up dead by the end of agot :(

Been thinking about another time travel au...

But this time, it's Robin. Just. Robin. She lands the Friday before Will goes missing, and she immediately assumes Steve went with her. Because of course he time traveled with her, why wouldn't he?

Until she gets to school and sees Steve flirting with Nancy and joking with Carol and Tommy. His eyes glance over her without recognition and she realizes she's alone. She panics every morning period until deciding to just go up and corner Steve at lunch and explain to him, try to prove to him she's actually his best friend from the future, and get help.

It ends up with her sitting on the floor of the boys bathroom crying, holding onto (a very confused and mildly freaked out) Steve's hand, and telling him that her day has sucked because how do you even deal with timetravel without your best friend? How do you deal with trying to save the world without them? She can't do this without him and she's freaking out and she wants her best friend back.

And Steve going "hey, uh. Okay. So... you're my friend in this weird future you're trying to stop? Prove it."

Which is something Robin can do. She stares at him for a long time, thinking, and Steve's huffs

"yeah okay. Super weird prank or whatever. Don't bug me again." And goes to stand up but Robin tugs his hand towards her and stops him.

"you are so impatient! I'm trying to think of something to say that won't freak you out and has actually happened! Gimme a minute!"

And Steve raises his eyebrows but he does wait.

"your aunt Ev." She says, finally. "She was your favourite grownup. Loved star trek. You cried so hard when she died and- uh. At her funeral, your dad got mad at you."

Steve blinks at her, brows furrowed."How...how did you know that? Nobody knows that."

Robin smiles. "Dingus. I'm your best friend from the future. You did."

Steve frowns. "Tell me something else."

"okay" she nods "you and Tommy tell everyone both your first kisses were with Carol but the day before you kissed each other."

"what the fuck."

"do you believe me now? Because seriously I need your help with this but I can keep going."

Swallowing Steve nods. Gives her a hand up.

"great. Okay. So, I think we need to tell Jonathan and Nancy about this. Then go to Joyce and Hopper. I'm not quite sure? You were always better at gameplans honestly."

"what about Tommy and Carol?"

She looks at him, and tilts her head (the same way he does) thinking. "Sure. Why not. They'll be suspicious why we're so buddy buddy now anyways."

I’m always so torn on whether I love it or if I find Vamp Eddie hilarious because like vampires are so cool and sexy and elegant and Eddie is a cringefail weirdo who drinks yahoo and I can’t decide if that escape from the trope is like amazing or the funniest thing in existence.

Like I get vampire biting is sexy but I can’t picture him being sexy about it he’s to much of a little guy. There’s no way he doesn’t at least once go “I Vant to Suvck you Vblood” and Steve has to put his pants back on and leave.

I'm tired of Hades being the creepy one on the relationship

AU where Persephone is a zombie. She died too young and her mom couldn't bear to let her go and breathes a wisp of life into her every morning to keep her almost-not-quite alive by her side. This is a little uncomfortable for Persephone, but she's an adaptable type, so she rolls with it.

Hades kidnaps her because she's *already dead*, hello, did she get lost? It's an unkindness to leave a soul wandering. Turns out he wildly misread the situation and now he's got an annoyed and amused zombie houseguest causing all kinds of trouble while she waits for her mom to come knocking.

Also Persephone thinks the underworld is fucking awesome (*way* more comfy than being dead in the living world) and Hades is stupid-cute and pretty soon she's working out an elaborate plot to timeshare.
