🚨COMMUNITY ALERT🚨 The Westboro Baptist Church is targeting Mag.Pi, the store where Laura Ann Carleton was murdered by Christian fascist Travis Ikeguchi over a Pride flag. They will be rallying at the Mag.Pi storefront as well as several other locations throughout the Lake Arrowhead community this weekend. On Saturday, they’ll be at Mag.Pi. Sunday and Monday they’ll hit multiple other spots in the community.

For this piece, I cut out and collaged typography taken from pictures of anti-trans protest signs. Each letter was cut out manually, and then arranged and scanned in page by page to form a poem I wrote about transness & hope for the future.

Amtrak train #20 Bay State westbound passing through CP33 with X-NH Roger Williams cab car and non cab car. Amtrak has removed the skirting revealing under sides of cars. When new in Shoreline service to Grand Central cab cars were equipped with a traction motor and third rail electrical pick up shoes. Don't know if the two diesel motors in each cars shut down or were just on idle when operating in third rail territory.
