not u getting me a wee bit obsessed with kageyama :(
oh my bad miggi :( lemme make it worse
Tumblr media
“you’re s’pretty…did you know that?”
the smile tobio gives you is endearing, so soft and gentle unlike the way he fucks you, a leg over his broad shoulders ( tailored by his sport ) and mean words dripping on his tongue between the praises he gives you. he’s been going at it for hours, plunging his hot cock inside your sloppy walls— connected to you by the syrupy strings of your arousal that sticks to his happy trail.
you’re delirious beyond belief, pounded into the mattress and barley breathing—mouth hanging open, eyes fluttering with sweet whines while kageyama rocks your bed with heavy thrusts, hitting your womb. “c’mon baby…look at me yeah? look at me when i fuck you,” and even though gaze is glazed over, you still manage to peak up at him with tears just spilling over the line of your lashes onto your soaked cheeks. “that’s a good girl, my pretty girl. you hear that? my. pretty. girl.” the slurred words are only punctuated by creaks of your bedframe and wet plaps as kageyama switches the angle of his hips, tips glidding along the silk lining of your cunt. “fuck baby…repeat it back to me.”
you sniffle, reaching out to twist your fingers in midnight black locks only to have kageyama pin your wrist above your head. “‘m a p-pretty girl!” you gripe innocently, chest and hips rising from the bed to coax him deeper.
kageyama’s brown knit together on his forehead, softness of his hair pinned to it by a thin layer of sweat as he smiles down at you, even though his cock throbs inside your aching pussy. “that’s right, doing so well angel.” he pants, lips drawn to your skin like a bee to pollen, your cunt opening up to him like a blossoming flower. “who d’ya belong to baby? tell me. be a good girl and try to answer, yeah?” you whine when tobio’s body pulls back from hanging over yours, brain fuzzy while he switches to slow, pitiful rolls of his hips instead of slamming into you.
“t-tobio!” you squeal dreamily, jolting up the bed as his hips buck up and seedy cockhead presses down on your g-spot. “i-i’m tobio’s pretty girl.”
“fuck…yeah you are.” he coos back, collapsing on top of you again to carve your insides into his shape— cock so far deep in your guts that he barely pulls out anymore, folding you more and more until he’s bathed down to the balls in your pussy juices. “m-mine, all mine. you’re mine huh? my baby.” he can’t help but ramble, cock twitching and swelling like he’s about to cum after hours of fucking you because… hearing you call for him like that, making kageyama feel like you’re as obsessed with him as he is with you drives him insane. you’re his, stupidly nodding along looking up at him longingly like he’s your god and you’re his angel. “gon’cum, fuck ‘m gonna cum. say you want it.” say you want me.
with hooded eyes, faint breath and bouncing breasts you whimper out. “i wan’cha tobi… want you t’cum inside me—“ your tongue rolls out of your mouth, fingers twitching to touch kageyama and your cunt beginning to spasms around his wet shaft. “need you! no one else!”
and that’s all it takes, for both sets of coils to snap and for kageyama to kiss you like he’s obsessed with you— licking into the heat of your mouth while he lets go of your wrists. you find his hair instantly, tugging it so you both never part from the kiss and he floods you with seed up to your womb, claiming you as his in the deepest of ways while you gush around him too.

hey bae im back kinda, just trying to get into the flow of tumblr again if you will so bc of that can i request kags or tsukki finally getting their workaholic bf to take a break and cuddling w him because he passed out at a really unfortunate time (like before winning a practice match or something) 100% not self indulgent pfft
Working Yourself to Death
Pairing: Kageyama x Male Reader
Warnings: Overworked Reader
Summary: Kageyama wasn’t always the most perceptive person, but he could tell when you needed to take a break. When Kageyama finally forces you to slow down and take a break, he’s not letting you go, even if it means you are both laying in the gym floor.
A/n: Welcome back, even if it’s only kinda. I’m not quite sure what you wanted with “passing out before wining a practice match” so Im not sure if this is what you wanted, but I hope you like it anyway.
Tumblr media
Practice was very important to Y/n. As was his school work. He worked hard at everything he did, it was admirable most of the time. Sometimes, however, Y/n would work more than he should. He just couldn’t stop, he’d explain. It was never a sound argument, but no one could convince him to take a break. Not even Kageyama, and considering he was Y/n’s boyfriend, if he couldn’t do it no one could.
Today was no exception to Karasuno’s busy schedule, and by association Y/n’s. The volleyball club had a practice match with Nekoma. Y/n was tired, he wasn’t sure what he was running on at this point, and Kageyama caught on quickly after they began warming up. Y/n was off his game, his usual precise and hard spikes were messy. Kageyama decided to say something to him.
“If you’re to tired you should go home.” It was intended to be caring, but to someone who didn’t know better Kageyama would have seemed much to harsh.
“I doubt coach would care if you missed one practice, besides you aren’t going to be any help if you are like this.” He continued
Y/n shook his head, Kageyama was probably right, but there was no way he was going home when they had a practice match like this.
“I’ll be fine.”
Kageyama huffed, and would’ve continued to push, but the match was starting, so he was pulled away from Y/n. As Kageyama got in position, his focus kept shifting back to Y/n. But eventually Kageyama was able to focus a portion of his attention onto the match.
Y/n was swapped in a during the match, but that seemed to be to much for the young man. After returning to the sidelines, he was completely dead on his feet.
“Y/n? Are you okay?” Yamaguchi asked, noticing Y/n’s shaky breaths.
It was loud enough for the setter, who was standing near by, to hear. He looked over and realized the poor condition his boyfriend was in. His compleat shift of attention didn’t go unnoticed, the rest of the team were made painfully aware that he wasn’t in the game when they had no setter to sent the ball to.
As a time out was called, Kageyama was quickly at Y/n’s side, pushing Yamaguchi out of his way. “I told you you need to rest idiot.”
Y/n looked at Kageyama, he was clearly tired, but he didn’t look like he was willing to give in yet. Before he could argue though, Kageyama grabbed Y/n’s arm and pulled him to the side of the gym. Kageyama slid down to the floor, pulling Y/n down with him.
The practice match continued on without the two. Coach Ukai didn’t question the events taking place, just glancing over to Kageyama and Y/n occasionally. The coach decided to not intervene with the two.
Y/n looked to Kageyama, his face was scrunched up in confusion at what the other was doing. Kageyama began to fill in the banks.
“Just sit here with me,” he started. “Go to sleep if you want.”
Kageyama’s arms were wrapped around Y/n’s torso, holding him against his body. Y/n sighed, he had to admit, being next to Kageyama like this was very relaxing, maybe taking a break wouldn’t be so bad.
Y/n gave a brief nod, before leaning against Kageyamas shoulder. Before either of them realized Y/n was asleep, his breathing much more steady, a much more content and relaxed look on his face. No matter how much Y/n denied it, he needed this. He needed to be wrapped in his partners arms, he needed to sleep after such a long week.
Kageyama was content too, he was happy to finally have his boyfriend in his arms, and the reward of Y/n’s much more relaxed face was all he needed. Kageyama let out a deep sigh, resting his head against Y/n’s.
The only one that could pull Kageyama away from the court was Y/n. Usually Kageyama would be upset by how this turned out, but for his boyfriend he would do anything. And Karasuno won the practice match anyway, so they couldn’t be to upset.

Being the manager of Karasuno
Tumblr media
- fucking CHAOTIC
- You joined because Tsukishima (yeah wtf, right?!?!?) asked you to. Both him and Yamaguchi would have to worry about you going home alone and they would never allow that
- You’re friends with the two and they’re your classmates as well so you three are pretty close. Making you join their club assured them that they could always walk you home (and protect you from nasty boys because you are just that beautiful)
- they’re just that protective okay but you gotta admit,,,, it’s cute
- Suga welcomes you to the team the warmest, seeing that you’re more on the calmer side unlike the other first years here
- Daichi just really has this dad aura around him so it makes you feel comfortable talking to him and of course Sugamama
- Asahi needed a minute to get to talk you without wanting to cry. It was rare that people weren’t afraid of this big softie so he’s overwhelmed
- Ennoshita was pretty chill about having a new manager until the 2nd yr idiot duo started making such a fuss out of it
- Tsukishima likes teasing the shit out of Tanaka and Nishinoya by slinging an arm around your shoulder, or by placing his chin on the top of your head
- They are FUMING and if it wasn’t for Daichi being there, they would have already pounced the lanky blonde string bean
- Since you’re also in a class for smart dudes, Kageyama and Hinata BEG you to tutor them,,, even though they sadly still failed
- Whenever Kags is a lil grump, you always have change in your purse to buy him some milk to brighten up his day. He buys you pork buns as an exchange fot your kindness
- Hinata reminds you of a corgi mixed with sunshine because HE IS JUST THAT. You tend to always pat his head and praise him, sometimes a ‘good boy’ slips in but he’s just happy to get compliments
- Speaking of compliments, their freak quick left your mouth hanging. You couldn’t stop raving about how cool they looked >ego is definitely raised<
- It came to a point that even Daichi told you to shut up as nicely as he can because it started to go out of hand. “(Y/n), I know it’s cool and awesome but can you just PLEASE shut up”
- Tsukki and Yams snickered at your embarrassed face as you apologized
- When Ukai came, you let him know about your insights on the team and how they could improve. He also asked about strategies you think could work seeing that you keep a close eye on the boys
- “Holy shit did any of you know that your manager is a fucking genius?!” since then, the coach would always ask for your opinion on game plays and would tell you to keep on observing the team
- He bribed you with free pork buns and papico for you to agree
- During training camp, you heard how Yamaguchi stood up to Tsukki and you were one proud momma!! Like yeah my boy go tell that stupid blonde tower what’s on your mind
- You smacked them both on the head though, it wasn’t nice of them to yell at each other in another school
- You’re the overall balance the team needs and you’re the one who keeps everyone together♥

Tumblr media
“Good morning, y/n,” Suga said, ruffling my hair.
I blink up at him, a soft smile on my face. “Good morning. How’re you?” I ask, handing him a coffee. It’s become routine to bring him one when I go to morning practices.
“I’m doing well, thanks. And yourself?” He gladly takes the cup, warming his hands and taking a sip.
“I’m fine,” I blink tiredly.
“That’s good. Is your brother here yet?” He asks.
I hum, shaking my head. “No, he’s racing Hinata or something. Not quite sure. I gave up trying to keep up with those two a long time ago.”
He laughs at my remark, shaking his head. “Understandable.” He looks down at me. “So, are you going to play today, or do schoolwork?” Suga asks.
“School,” I roll my eyes, “I’ve got a quiz today.” He nods, wishing me good luck, and I head to my usual spot on the bleachers, putting in my airpods along the way. Once settled, I pull out my math homework and start factoring.
After a bit, I hear distant yelling so I glance up, seeing the gym is fuller than it was a while ago. My brother and Hinata were being idiots, and so were Tanaka and Noya, while Suga busied himself with something in the closet. So much chaos.
My eyes lock with Noya’s, and suddenly all of his attention is on me. “Kags!” He shouts, running towards me.
He said that “Kageyama” made him think of my brother, but “Kags” for me was more fitting. Because “It’s shorter, like you.” And, “It’s cute! Like you!” (Noya’s words, not mine).
“Noya, good morning.” I say, smiling and waving at him.
“Mornin! Watchya doing!!” He asks, plunking himself next to me.
“Just doing homework and listening to music.” I smile at him. He’s always been a friend of mine. I’m not sure why, but we just seemed to click. Not romantically or anything, but just, our friendship didn’t make sense but it was right.
“Oooh gimme.” He holds out a hand, and I take out my left AirPod and place it in his. We usually pair ours to my phone or his and listen together, but since he was just playing, he didn’t have his.
“I’ll turn it up.” I say, clicking the button on the side a few times.
Noya and I nod along to Crazy in Love by Beyoncé. “Nice choice.” He says, whacking my shoulder.
I laugh, thanking him.
Then, it happens.
The music gets quiet, and there’s a melodic chime.
<Message from T red heart. It says: Good morning baby. Thanks for that. You look beautiful. Winking face emoji.>
The music returns to the previous volume.  I stare ahead, avoiding Noya’s now prying gaze that’s boring into me.
“Uhmmm. Miss lady. Is there something you wanna tell me?” He asks, sass laced in his voice.
I meet his eyes, and he’s smirking. I blush deeply, raking my fingers through my hair. “Shit. Fucking Siri announcing my damn messages, shit.” I mumble, face hot.
“Looks like Noya’s picking up your sister.” Tanaka says loudly, and I look up to see him and Tobio looking at us.
“Shut it jerks!” Noya shouts. “I just found her secret Spotify playlist! It’s like all death metal, it’s really weird. I-“
“Noya!” I squeak, tackling him, making the other boys laugh and/or shake their heads. Tobio just rolled his eyes.
“Thanks.” I say quietly, still wrestling with Noya.
“No problem, Kags.” He smirks, shaking his head. “But you owe me.”
“What do you want?” I raise my eyebrows.
“You to tell me everything. What’re best friends for?” He says with a grin, finally pulling himself away.
“Okay, okay. Your advice will probably be helpful at times. I haven’t told anyone, like, anyone.”
“My lips are sealed.” He mimics zipping his lips and locking it, throwing away the key, making me laugh.
“Thanks. Now go practice, idiot!” I shove him towards the court and he speeds back.
“So, are ya gonna tell me?” Noya asks.
“Oooh tell him what?!” Tanaka exclaims, making me roll my eyes.
“It was supposed to be a secret, Noya.” I squint at him. “But I guessss I can tell you.” I look at Tanaka, a playful grin on my face. “Will you explain?” I ask Noya and he nods excitedly, I knew he’d wanna break the news.
After Tanaka heard, he slammed his hands on the table excitedly. “NO WAY! LITTLE SIS HAS HERSELF A LOVER.” He says excitedly.
I blush and look away.
“Yeah and I wanna know WHO!” Noya says, “I know it starts with a T, so I thought maybe you Tanaka, but you didn’t have your phone and plus I’m sure you would’ve told me.”
“Oh sure thing dude.” Tanaka nods. “Maybe it’s Tsukkishima?” He suggests.
“Hmmm, maybe, but the nickname was T, and she calls him Tsukki. Hmm, Kuroo? His first name starts with a T.”
“How do you know he plays volleyball?” I say with a smirk, teasing.
“OH.” Tanaka says, laughing at himself.
“He does though.” I mess with him, making him shove my shoulder.
“YAMS?” Noya asks, eyes wide.
I shake my head. My phone buzzes, and I look down at it.
T❤️: hey babyyyy. i miss you
me: i miss you too!💓
T❤️: can u come over tonight🥺 i don’t have practice
me: hmmmm yeah sure :)
me: noya and tanaka found out that we’re a thing. they don’t know it’s you but i bet they’ll cover for me lmao
T❤️: bless
T❤️: well i gotta go baby i’ll text you later
me: okay bye!!💓
T❤️:😘
“Is it Takeda? If it is, we won’t judge.” Tanaka says quietly, making me laugh loudly. “No no no!” I shake my head.
“Tendou!?” Tanaka exclaims.
“Takeru?”
“Goshiki?”
I shake my head at all of their attempts.
It dawns on Noya, and he leans across the table, Tanaka copies him, and whispers, “Is it Oikawa?”
I bite my lip with a small smile.
“NO. WAY.” Tanaka gasps, jaw dropped. “That’s like, illegal!! You know who your brother is, right?!? Dude. That’s ballsy.”
I laugh at Tanaka’s ramblings.
“Wow okay, get it I guess.” Noya says, grinning. “What’s he like?”
“He’s sweet. Nothing like his on the court persona.” I say honestly. “And I really really really like him.”
“You haven’t told Kageyama, I assume?” Tanaka asks, and I shake my head.
“I just don’t know how, honestly. I’ve been dating Tooru for a little over a year now. Things are great, but just, he and my brother don’t get along. Tooru wants to try, though. But every time I even mention his name, Tobio shuts me down.”
Noya nods, eyebrows furrowed in thought. “Hey, we’re always here to help, you know.”
“Yeah, feel free to say you’re staying at my house with me and my sister or something, Kageyama knows we wouldn’t ever do anything weird. Gross.” Tanaka pretends to gag, and I laugh.
“Thank you guys.” I reach out, grabbing their hands and squeezing them.
“No prob, Kags.”
——
Later that night, I found myself in the arms of the man that was causing such a stir in my friends’ minds.
His soft lips against mine, doing exactly what made me feel warm inside. He runs his hands up and down my back, settling on my hips. My arms rest on his shoulders, and eventually move up to run through his hair, messing it up.
I sigh, pulling away to look at his face. His brown eyes gaze up into mine, and I smile gently, resting my forehead against his.
“I’m so lucky that you’re my girl.” Tooru says, eyes closing. I hum and kiss his nose, cuddling into his chest, closing my eyes as well.
“Babe. Wake up.” A soft voice says, rubbing my arm. I open my eyes to meet soft brown ones filled with love.
“Hi, darling.” I say, stretching and yawning.
“Sleep well?” He asks, pulling me closer to him.
“I did. You?”
He hums and nods, closing his eyes. “It’s early still, but I wanted to be with you before you leave.” He pouts, pressing a kiss on my temple.
“Thanks for waking me up.” I smile, putting my hand on his cheek. He turns his head, kissing my palm before going back to look at my face.
We talk about random things for about 30 minutes, like how shocked Noya was when he heard the message, and how Iwa hit him in the back of the head with a ball again.
Sadly, time passes, so that means I have to go to school.
“Bye, baby.” He says, telling me farewell at the train.
“Bye. I love you.”
“I love you too.” He smiles, kissing me quickly before I get on and head to Karasuno.
“Hey, kid.” Daichi says as I walk into the gym carrying my bag.
“Hi!” I say with a grin, hugging him.
“Thanks for coming in today.” He says, hugging me back.
“No problem. I’ve got some time to kill anyway.” Today, a bunch of people are coming to Karasuno to practice together, it’s really informal but fun and useful. I wave bye to Daichi and walk over to my friend Yui. She’s the captain of the girls team. I wasn’t able to play this year, but next year I’m going to join after basketball season.
“Y/n! Hello! Thanks for coming!” She gushes, hugging me.
“Of course! I wouldn’t miss it.” I smile at her as we start to leave the gym to change.
“Y/n! Good morning!” My brother shouts at me, and I turn around and yell good morning right back with a wave.
With that out of the way, I walk out of the gym with my friend.
In the empty club room, we change into shorts and a tshirt and head back, mindlessly chatting along the way.
“Y/n! Hello!” A familiar voice stops me outside.
“Iwa!” I grin, “Hi! Welcome to my school.” I jokingly bow, making him laugh. “You can go on Yui, I’ll be right there!”
She nods and heads into the gym, probably to see Daichi.
“Yyyyy/nnnnn,” the smooth voice of my boyfriend rings out, making me laugh.
“Hi!” I smile sweetly at him. “I’d kiss you but there are, ya know, people,” I say quietly.
He nods his head in understanding. He wasn’t going to ask for one anyway, he didn’t feel like dealing with the secret today.
“Are you going to play too, Y/n? You’re wearing athletic clothes.” Iwa notes.
“Yeah, a bit.” I say, and the three of us walk into the gym.
“That’s great.” Iwa says, patting my head.
“She’s the most pretty setter.” Oikawa says quietly, making Iwa and I both chuckle and roll our eyes.
“The great king!” Hinata exclaims, making a few heads turn in our direction.
I can sense my brother’s icy stare, and my boyfriend sends him a smirk.
Oh no, this is gonna be trouble.
I sigh, pushing my hair back. I walk towards Suga, but turn around and mouth the words “be good” to Tooru, then I do the same to Tobio.
Oh god oh no oh god oh no, repeats in my brain as I walk wide eyed to the grey haired boy for some kind of comfort. He looks somewhat out of place due to third wheeling Daichi and Yui, so when his eyes meet mine, they flood with relief.
“Y/n,” he says as I approach him, “today’s gonna be a long one.”
“You’re telling me.” I sigh, putting my hands on my head. I glance back to check on the two boys in my life, and thankfully they’re on opposite sides of the gym.
“Something the matter?” He asks, concerned.
“Just worried about my brother and Tooru.” I pause. “Oikawa.” I correct myself, and Suga eyes me.
“If he’s the mystery man I overheard Noya and Tanaka talking about, I feel sorry for your situation.” He says honestly, making my face heat up.
“Yeah.” I admit. Maybe Suga could help me if something goes awry...
After a moment of silence, he smirks at me, giving me a knowing look. “Does he really hit it till it breaks?” He teases.
“Oh god Suga!” I exclaim, shoving his shoulder, my cheeks turning red.
He laughs at my flustered state.
“He does, but so do I.” I whisper to him, making his jaw drop. It’s his turn to be speechless. I giggle, covering my mouth. “I’m kidding, I’m kidding.” I say, shaking my head. “Unless...”
He whacks my shoulder, “You’re too young for lewd jokes like that, young lady!” He teases, giving me a soft whack in between the words.
“You started it!” I laugh, holding one hand up in surrender, the other on my stomach from laughter.
——
At lunch time, I opt to sit with Noya and Tanaka.
“The tension between the two is so,” Noya says, waving his hand in the air.
“Thick.” Tanaka finishes for him, and we all nod. “I don’t like it.”
“Me either. And Tooru has been good, it’s Tobio who’s trying to rile things up.” I frown, pushing my food around with my fork.
“Yeah, he needs to calm down.” Tanaka agrees.
“You know what? I’ll go sit with him.” I say, pushing myself up.
“Go get em!” Noya cheers, making me laugh.
I walk over and sit down next to him, brushing his shoulder. “Y/n, hey.” He says.
“Y/n!!!” Hinata beams from across the table. “How’re you!”
“I’m fine, how about you?” I smile at him. He tells me he’s good and rambles for a bit about volleyball.
“It’s fun.” Tobio admits. “I want to go up against Oikawa, though. Haven’t had the chance yet.” He grumbles, shoveling food. into his mouth. I roll my eyes. “Oi, what was that for?” He demands, nudging me.
“Nothing, nothing.” I wave him off.
Hinata squints at us, wondering if we’ll start fighting. It happens occasionally, and in front of Hinata a good amount because Tobio “feels like he can be himself” around the orange haired boy (his words, not mine).
“Don’t fight, let’s just focus on learning from others today!” Hinata begs.
I nod, smiling at him.
“Now, I’m gonna go.” I say, standing up. I whack Tobio on the head, mumbling “behave” before walking away, waving bye to Hinata.
———
I found myself sitting in between Oikawa and Suga, kicking my legs while I drink my chocolate milk. The two boys chat with each other, making me smile. I look at my boyfriend and he ruffles my hair before continuing his conversation with Suga. Next, I look up at Suga, who’s nodding along to my boyfriend’s words. He looks down at me, fixing my hair before meeting Tooru’s eyes again.
I feel so content, two important guys in my life are getting along.
“Hey, Y/n, I- what? OH!” Tanaka says, bounding up to the three of us, Noya hot on his tail.
“It’s nice to meet you, loverboy.” Noya says, stepping from foot to foot in excitement.
Instead of lashing out, Tooru blushes a bit and looks down, acting out of character. This makes Noya grin even wider. “You’d better treat our Y/n right, and I know you do, but I need to say it, and-“ the small boy rambles, making me laugh. Suga shakes his head, whacking Noya to get him to shut up.
“We’re baaaack!” Hinata shouts, “Let’s play!”
“Y/n?” A voice I didn’t want to hear says.
I look up to meet the hard blue eyes of my brother.
“Hey, Tobio.” I offer a smile. “Why are you with him?” He folds his arms, making me roll my eyes.
“It seems like you’re ignoring the fact that I’m also with Suga, Noya, and Tanaka.”
“Still.”
“Okay, you know what, fine,” I say, taking a deep breath. Holy shit, I’m doing this. I’m doing this now of all times. Okay okay okay, get the words out, “He’s my boyfriend.”
Tobio’s facial expression changes into confusion. If his face could be a punctuation mark, it would embody “?” perfectly.
“Okay, don’t get mad-“ Tooru starts.
“No, okay, I, just,” Tobio stutters, blinking hard.
“Listen.” I tell him, putting my hand on his arm, “I love him, okay? And he’s treated me so well, and I just-“
“Give me a minute.” Tobio says, shaking his head and storming out of the gym.
“Babe,” Tooru says, gently taking my hand in his.
“Take a breath, he’ll come around.” He whispers.
“But what if he doesn’t?” I ask, trying not to tear up.
“If he doesn’t, then oh well.” Tooru rubs my back. “He’s not part of our relationship. It might even take years of him seeing how much I love and care about you, it’s not going to fade. He’ll have to see someday.”
“And,” Suga adds, “we all approve, if that helps things.”
“I can’t believe you’re dating the great king!” Hinata gushes, hugging me. “I’ll go talk to Kageyama.”
“Thanks, Hinata.” I smile, hugging him back before he runs off.
“At least he didn’t punch me.” Tooru mumbles, making me and the boys around me laugh.
———
At the end of the day, all of the guys are tired and sweaty, walking slower than they did in the morning. I walked between Iwa and Tanaka (admittedly, two guys I never thought I’d walk in between) while listening to chatter amongst the volleyball boys.
“Hey, do you think I can hang out at your house now that your brother knows?” A smooth voice asks me.
I smile, nodding. “Yeah, I think so.”
“That’s great.” He grins, lacing his fingers with mine. “Plus, I need to prove to him that I’m not actually terrible.”
“Yeah, he’s really hard headed.” I shake my head.
After a bit, we all get to the train and it’s time to say our goodbyes and go our separate ways.
“It was nice talking to you, loverboy.” Noya says, socking Tooru in the shoulder.
“Yeah, you too I guess.” He rubs the spot that got punched, jokingly wincing.
We break off from the group a bit, and I hug him. “Thanks for acting right.” I say, somewhat jokingly.
“Hey, I’m not a dick when things are important to me.” He shoots back, squeezing me closer to him.
I stand on my tiptoes and he leans down, meeting me halfway. His warm lips are against mine again, and I smile, closing my eyes.
“Hey, uh,” My brother’s voice interrupts our moment. We pull back and look at him. “This is so weird. I hope you understand how in shock I am. Y/n, we’re going to have a talk on the way home. I don’t know if I can accept this.” He scratches his neck in discomfort.
Tooru stiffens, jaw clenched.
“Tobio, I-“
“No, Y/n. Just, no.” He shakes his head, glaring at the ground.
“At least let me tell you how good he is to me. Let him show you, please Tobio.” I beg.
“I, I can’t, I just,”
“You’re too fucking stubborn.” I snap. “This is why I didn’t tell you. I knew you’d be a total dick and ruin things.”
“I don’t mind ruining things if it has to do with him.” He folds his arms.
I look back at my boyfriend, who’s obviously trying to hold himself back.
“What the hell, man?” Tooru finally says something. “I’ve literally treated Y/n well for more than a year now, and I could never hurt her. I love her, so much, and I don’t hate her for being your sister, I don’t hold idiotic grudges,”
“You do against me.”
“It’s an act, stupid. You play into it all just as much as I did.”
“Don’t start that, Oikawa.”
“Hey, Tobio, Tooru,” I butt in, “Please stop.”
“I’ll stop arguing when you dump his ass, Y/n.” Tobio says.
I shoot him a glare, then look to Oikawa, whose eyes swimming with emotion.
“I am not breaking up with Tooru. I love him, Tobio. A lot. Just, accept it, would you?”
“No. I can’t. See him for all I care, but you won’t have me.” He storms off, leaving the two of us standing there in silence.
———
Two months later, I’m sitting in my last period class. I head out of school as the bell rings, arms folded and eyes down. I don’t like admitting that my brother’s words affected me, and I especially don’t like that he made me choose between the two.
I chose the one who wasn’t a dick. The one who loves me, the one who would do anything to make me smile. The one who looks at me like I put the stars in the sky, the one who holds me at night and gives me his jacket when I’m cold. The one who sneaks my favorite candy in my backpack before I leave his house, the one who lets me pick which anime we watch. The one who kisses each of my fingers, the one who makes my heart stop, the one who supports me no matter what.
Yet my heart aches for my brother, the one that would put bandaids on my scraped knees, the one that would laugh at me when I fell, right before he’d give me a hand up. The one who helped me get ready for basketball tryouts, the one who always forgot his bag at home. The one who refuses to look me in the eye, the one who’s giving me the silent treatment, the one who makes my home life miserable every day. Why do I miss him when he’s so mean?
I kick rocks along the sidewalk, walking past the volleyball gym. I hear familiar squeaks of shoes and slamming of volleyballs on the wood floors. I peek in, praying that my brother isn’t there.
“Y/n!” Suga says, noticing my presence. I squeak and jump back, stumbling a bit. “Sorry to scare you!” He says, jogging up to me, reaching out a hand to help me up.
“It’s okay.”
“How have you been? It’s been ages!” He throws an arm over my shoulders.
I shrug.
“Not good, huh?” He frowns.
I shake my head.
“I’m sorry. You’re always welcome at my place. I know it’s closer than Oikawa’s.”
“Thank you.” I smile gently, hugging him. “I’d better go before Tobio shows up here.” I laugh lightly, pushing my hair back.
“Hmm, all right then. Don’t forget to text me though, all right?”
“I won’t. Bye, Suga.” I wave and walk away, heading to the train.
He waves bye back, heading back into the gym.
I glance back, remembering when I’d run Tobio his bag that he left on the counter.
I shake the memories out of my head.
Once on the train, I put in my earbuds, nodding my head along to the first song that came on shuffle. I look out the window, thinking.
Once I’m at the house of my boyfriend and his family, I truly feel at home. I feel warm, I feel loved, I feel cared for. In fact, I am warm, loved, and cared for here. His parents let me stay over, and I cook dinner for everyone multiple times a week.
It’s 8:00 pm now, and I’m spinning in Tooru’s desk chair while he folds his clothes.
“Hey, c’mere.” He says, sitting down on his queen sized bed, patting the empty space next to him.
I nod and stand up, then plop myself down.
“I love you.” He takes my face in his hands, moving closer. “So much.” He kisses my lips firmly. “Don’t you ever forget, missy.”
I laugh, scooting closer to him and nuzzling my face in his chest, sighing in contempt.
“I love you too, Tooru.”
‘Star crossed lovers, doomed from the start, huh?’ I think to myself, a small smile on my face, ‘What do ya know? I made it work.’

songs 4 u! ⭑・゚゚・
shuffle / rewind / skip
warnings! pure fluff
watching semi get out the taxi, y/n stood there with her arms crossed over one another. the chilly afternoon air blew in her face, and she was more than ready to see what semi had planned for her.
“alright, it’s here,” he said, walking towards the venue in front of him. “c’mon slow poke!”
y/n squinted at the neon sign in front of her. she’d never been to this club before, but it was a hotspot for celebs looking for smaller venues rather than stadiums to hold shows at.
“are we..going to a concert?” she mumbled, just loud enough for semi to hear her. he sighed, the smile on his lips never disappearing.
“maybe if you went inside, you’d see.”
rolling her eyes she obliged, thanking her friend as he held the door open for her. the two of them were greeted by a tall bouncer, who recognized them and let them in with no hesitation. ‘strange..’ y/n thought, but kept the weird feeling to herself.
the black double doors were opened for her once more, and the scene around her was overwhelmingly loud.
a crowd of people covered the entire floor, and the balcony above them was just as packed. they cheered and chanted for whoever was coming on stage, but it didn’t resonate who that was until she heard the whispers of a few fans next to her.
“i seriously hope that tweet was right, i mean, a pop up akaashi show? that’s sick!”
y/n felt her heart skip a beat at his words.
immediately spinning around, she searched for semi but he was nowhere to be found. she had a feeling he knew what was going on, but now that he’d disappeared off there was no way of confirming — until a spotlight hit the stage, and the boy underneath it caused the crowd to go wild.
“welcome, everyone!” akaashi said into the mic. as he greeted the floor below him, the cheers got louder as tsukishima and kageyama walked out. kags waved as he adjusted his guitar strap, and tsukki nodded with a slight grin as he sat behind his drum set.
“ohh my g-“
“tonight’s show is dedicated to a special person,” said into the mic. his eyes diverted to y/n, and she swore there was a faint sparkle behind them. her face felt warm, and the gesture didn’t go unnoticed by the crowd as they got out their phones to start recording.
the show started, with keiji playing some of his popular songs, and even a few unreleased ones (that y/n had already heard during their many songwriting sessions). y/n felt so happy, watching him sing his heart out on stage.
it wasn’t until he announced he’d be playing one final song that night that y/n noticed the crowd shuffling slightly as a spotlight hit her directly. she put a hand over her face to shield her eyes, but stared confusingly at the boy on stage. he let out a huff, and then took the mic off of the stand and held it up to his face closely.
“y/n,” he started “i’ve never been good with words, specifically telling people how i feel. thanks to you, you helped me realize my true feelings....however, i’d rather sing them than say them.”
the crowd let out a mixture of “awws” and applause. y/n’s heart began to race, but she simply nodded slightly as tsukki began to count down.
the soft music filled the entire venue, and akaashi’s smooth voice was all y/n were focused on at the moment.
i don’t think about you all the time, but when i do it’s a dream come true
helps me sleep it helps me dream at night something real, that’ll make me feel all right
he sang better than she had ever heard before. the raw emotion in his voice brought her to tears, as he sang of love. his voice was like a spell, putting her in a trance as he began to step down from the stage, and slowly walk towards her as he sang.
when i can’t be by your side it makes me cry, and wonder how long can i go
without having you in my sight, will i be alright? will i just die tonight?
parting as he mace his way to her, the crowd was filled with nothing but happiness, and when it was just the two of them in the middle of the floor, he took y/n’s hands in his, and delivered his final lyric.
i can’t see anybody loving me the way you do, it’s astonishing
you’ve got me under wraps but darling i’m in love
the room was silent as he delivered his final words, and the music stopped shortly after. it was as if the crowd knew he had more to say.
“i’ve never felt like this with anyone before, not even hina because you’re the only one who could ever show me what it really feels like to be in love. i.. can’t explain it, but that’s what i feel. and i really, really care about you.”
the tears had stopped halfway into the song, but another one fell after that short speech. he’d taken her breath away, so she did the first thing her mind told her to.
closing the space between them, they shared a short but passionate kiss, and they held each other tight as their friends and fans cheered around them.
track 18: under the lights
celeb! au. singer akaashi keiji isn’t too keen on relationships. when up and coming artist y/n moves into the apartment below him, will she be able to change that?
a/n: i put off writing this for like 3 days and then did it all last night so i apologize cuz i was tired as hell😽

Synopsis: The first time you said I love you or they said I love you
Genre: Major fluff, some angst
A/N: Major thanks to everyone who read my first one you can find my more of my writing in my masterlist in my pinned post! Thanks for all the love! Thank you to @kageyama-kyoko for the character recommendations! Kithes 🥺❤️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tendou:
• Your relationship was a rollercoaster
• You two always found some new adventure to go on and you explored any place that came to mind
“There’s a shut down McDonald’s two hours away with an abandoned playground.”
“Let’s go!”
• An I love you would be thrown in a lot of the time by you but for him... it was a little more complicated
• He loves you! Of course he does! But that also seemed to be the problem
• He was scared you’d lose feelings and give into what people think of him
• This was unknown to you, but you respected his lack of I love you’s because you know he cares regardless of words
• He took trains after trains to go with you anywhere because he was with you
• He actually enjoyed spending time with you, he would adventure any place with you, he’d share any ice cream, he’d do anything if you asked
• So his presence and respect for you were all you needed
• Your I love you’s were always appreciated and he would definitely kiss you Everytime you said it, and you were okay with that
• One night he opened up, standing in the middle of an abandoned water park
• He was nervous and you could tell but you reassured him that you’re all ears
“I’m scared.”
“We could always leave Tendou..”
“Not of the water park.”
• He looked at you and smiled softly
• He felt silly to even think this but he needed some reassurance
“I’m scared you’ll leave.”
• You knew automatically what he was talking about and you stepped towards him wrapping your arms around his torso
• You knew he needed some reassurance and you would always give it to him, without hesitation. You know what he’s been through was too much and maybe you understood maybe you didn’t, but you’d always be there to assure him that you aren’t going anywhere
• You knew the love you gave him was enough but you started to doubt yourself a little, it was hard not to; either way you looked up at him
“I’m never leaving, not even you push me down this slide.”
• He laughed and kissed your forehead
“I love you but is this a sign you want me to push you down the slide?”
• You nodded tearing up
“I love you too and yes.”
• And off you two went sliding down into the night ✨
“I think I scraped my ass.”
“Tendou I didn’t wanna know that.”
“Excuse me for bothering you with my pAIN?”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kageyama:
• Kageyama wasn’t a vocal person about his feelings
• You think he loves you? But you made a deal with yourself and Hinata
“Hinata he has to say I love you first.”
“Period!”
• But obviously he wouldn’t know that, so this made things a little difficult, he was confused as to why you were being so affectionate
“Kags I brought you some milk!”
“Kags nice set!”
“You look cute today Kags!”
• He was creeped out ✨ don’t get him wrong he loved that you were complimenting him but you just were never like this as friends
• He went to ask Hinata about it but Hinata refused to say anything
“Maybe she thinks you don’t LOVE HER.”
“No I don’t think that’s it.”
• Everyone: F in the chat for Kageyama homeboy gonna be single
• You were walking from the vending machine, holding your own drinkto your chest, you slowly took sips from it as you enjoyed it’s familiar taste
• You slowly walked up the stairs of the school and sat down by a window and looked outside at the pink blossoming trees
• You heard running down the hallway and saw your boyfriend speeding towards you
“Y/n! Y/n I love you!”
• You dropped your drink and looked at your boyfriend who was now slowing down and resting his hands on his knees catching his breath
• some other student looked out their doors to see what all the yelling was about during their lunch hour
• you looked at your boyfriend once again and sat in your legs peering up at him
“Tobio-kun... are you okay?”
• He shook his head
“I don’t want to lose you, never. I won’t ever let myself lose you.”
“Who said you’d lose me?”
“I heard that- If I didn’t tell you soon enough you’d leave me. I don’t want that.”
• Your eyes watered at your boyfriends words, your boyfriend who never spoke about anything but volleyball, who never spoke about how he feels
“I love you too Tobio-Kun.”
• Hinata cheering in the background like the nosey boy he is
“But you wouldn’t lose me just because you didn’t say I love you.”
• He looked at you eyes wide and looked around seeing people watching you two, his face red he held up one finger to signal him saying “one minute”
• He sprinted towards Hinata
“Tobio-Kun stop running you’ll fall!”
• slowed down and Hinata ran turning a corner only for your boyfriends speed to pick up and start chasing the tangerine boy down the hall yelling he’s going to kill him
“Idiots”
Tsukki: *pats your back* welcome to the club
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Konoha:
• You had been dating for a year and everything was perfect
• Well in your eyes
• Your boyfriend was perfect, he said the right things, did the right things, he took you to the best places, he even brought you anything you indirectly asked for
• And you did the same, you showered him in affection, hyped him up for games, you rubbed his shoulders when he was stressed, and you always made him the best food
• Everything was just normal and calm in your relationship, and you rarely argued or disagreed because you were just so both okay with figuring stuff out together
• Until Konoha had realized you never said I love you back and this upset him
• He asked his team for advice big mistake on his part it only worsened everything
“It means she doesn’t love you.”
“Bokuto-San no.”
• Your boyfriends behavior began to change and you noticed but you thought you would just put in more effort to make him happy
• You made him a Bento for practice, you held his hand and gave him words of appreciation, you even made his favorite dessert for him
• it didn’t work. He was upset and he started ditching you for volleyball practice
• This upset you but again, you just made more efforts to make him happy
• When you finally snapped you approached him, a full blown argument coming out of the both of you
“I’m not the one who ditches their s/o!”
“I’m not the one who refuses to say I love you to their boyfriend!”
• And with that he left you standing there alone
• You two spent a few days on zero speaking terms and it gave you both time to think, only question was who was going to approach first?
• You noticed the weather become more gloomy and took your umbrella out walking through the rain
• I don’t have to say I love you to prove to him that I do, but maybe it is time
“I love you y/n.”
• You turned to see your soaked boyfriend standing in front of you
“You don’t have to say it back but I love you, and these past few days have been hell for me because I realized you do love me and you prove that everyday with your actions. I understand now and I’m sorry I didn’t before, I let other people convince me you didn’t just over some still three words-“
“I love you too Konoha.”
• He sighed in relief and smiled at you, you smiled back fiddling with your umbrella before walking over to him to hold over the both of you
• He held onto it and squeezed your hand gently
“You forgive me?”
“I never said that pretty boy, why should I?”
• He laughed lightly and pressed a kiss to your lips before pulling away and shaking his wet hair on you
“Your a dog Konoha!”
• he chuckled at your words and placed another kiss on your lips
“Do you forgive me yet?”
“I do.”
• He smiled and began walking you home hand in hand, cracking jokes with one another and talking about everything that was happening in your lives the past few days
“Bokuto tried to cheer me up by drawing a volleyball with your face on it for me to spike.”
• Your mouth dropped open as you quickly texted Bokuto a rather mean message
Bokuto: y/n PLEASE FORGIVE ME! HE HIT ME WITH IT AFTER AND CRIED INTO IT ANYWAYS! KONOHA YOU SNITCH!!! 😭😭😭

It has been about more than two weeks since your first day at Karasuno, already creating good bonds with Hinata, Nishinoya, Yamaguchi, and even Tsukishima. You were pretty close to all of them, spending alot of time together at lunch or after school, and even during the weekend. They wanted you to feel welcome, after all, you even had a little text group chat.
(Sent October 10th at 11:15 am)
Y/N: [Good morning yall, and happy birthday noya!]
Shoyo: [HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOYA!]
Tadashi: [goodmorning and happy bday!]
Tsukki: [morning, happy birthday]
Noya: [GOOD MORNING, AND THANKS GUYS!]
You smiled down at your phone before shutting it off. Since it was Noyas birthday, your mom let him and your friends come over, it also being a Saturday. You planned to have a sleepover with your new friends, Kageyama, and Tanaka of course. You had finished cleaning your living room, and despite it being small, it was big enough to fit a bunch of enthusiastic dorks, and Tsukishima.
You had begun cooking lunch, making sandwiches for you and Hinata, who was already on his way to your house. "Good morning honey," your mom spoke softly, rubbing her eyes as she walked past you to the coffee maker. "Good morning mom, Hinatas on his way here already," you smile and finish the sandwiches, putting them on a plate and walking to the living room.
"Okay, I have work today so ill be out for a little bit, tell Nishinoya I said happy birthday and Kageyama I said hello," she chuckled as she started the machine. You nodded and heard the doorbell ring, causing you to sit up and smile in excitement, placing the play down on the couch. "Thats Shoyo!"
You hop to the front door and immediately unlock the door, greeting the orange haired male with a smile that was matching his. "Hey y/n!" He greets and you let him in, closing the door behind himself. "Hi Shoyo, I made lunch," you say and lead him to the living room. "Wow, your house is really cute," he giggles and sets his bags and blanket in the corner next to the couch.
"Im glad you think so, I think Tanaka is arriving next, but i could be wrong," you say and plot down on the couch, hinata following your movements. "When is Kageyama coming?" He asks and rests his head on your shoulder, head tilted so he can look at you, but you just shrug. "He hasn't answered me since I sent him the invite yesterday," you say before handing him the plate and taking your sandwich.
"What? He answered me this morning," Hinata said and pulled his phone out of his pocket, going to his text messages with Kageyama. "Yeah, he texted me this morning, asked if i was coming to the sleepover," he said and you sae him typing on his screen. You felt hurt, Kageyama always answered you, whether it was one word, or even one letter, he always answered.
"Ah, he might've forgotten, i wont hold it against him," you smiled and decided to shake it off, it was Noyas birthday and you were ready to have fun. You and Hinata watched a bit of Netflix and ate a bit more than just the sandwhiches you made. It had been about more than an hour since the next person appeared, hearing the doorbell ring as you were in the middle of showing Hinata baby pictures of you and Kageyama.
"Ah, I bet its Tsukishima and Tadashi! Or just Tadashi!" Hinata shouts, jumping up, you following after him with a big goofy smile on your face as you both run to the door. "Its definitely Tanaka! Im calling it!" You laugh, barely able to keep up with the small male as he opens the door. As you looked at the male at the door, you and Hinata both shouted at the same time.
"Tadashi!"
"Tanaka!"
"K-kageyama?" You questioned and Hinata sighed, walking back to your room, sulking. "Its just Kageyama," he complaimed and Kageyama glared at him. "Whats that supposed to mean dumbass!" You let him in and close the door behind him as he kicks off his shoes. "Kags, you didnt bring any bags? Like, more than one?" You ask and walk to your room, seeing him hesitate to say respond.
"I'm not staying over. I just wanted to wish Nishinoya a happy birthday, i thought more people would be here by now," he nonchalantly responds, almost irritating you. "Well, you could've answered my text with a yes or no, or tell me that," you say and turn to face him, kicking his ankle softly. "Sorry," he muttered.
You entered your room with Kageyama and saw Hinata checking out your wall of pictures, filled with pictures of you and kageyama as children, you and your mom, and your friends from Nekoma. "Hey, is that Kenma?" He asked, turning his head to look at you and Kageyama with a curious face.
"Oh, yeah it is," you answer and walk over to the spot next to hinata. "Ah, Inuoka! Lev!" He exclaims with a excited expression, carefully scanning the pictures. "Is this the Nekoma volleyball club?" He asked, looking up at you with admiration as you confirm that it is.
"Thats so cool! You know Kuroo?!" He said, looking at another photo, one dear to your heart. It was the last time you saw them, you had a sleepover at Kuroos house, all the boys attending. You were wrapped in Kuroo and Inuokas arms, the 2nd years sitting on the couch in the back with the rest of the members asleep, or running around.
"Yeah, he acts like my brother sometimes. This was from our last sleepover before i came here," you state and he puts it back in his place when he hears the doorbell. "Okay, this time its DEFINITELY Tanaka!" You slap Hinatas arm and you two, once again, race to the front door. "Its gotta be Tadashi!" He once again opens the door to be met with Tanaka, causing you to shout in glory, hinata groaning.
"Uh, hello to you too," he laughs and steps over Hinata who dramatically fell to his knees. "Sorry, we were betting on who would arrive next," you laughed as he put his stuff next to Hinatas and saw Kageyama come out of your room. "Hey Tanaka," he greeted and you all sat on the couch, continuing the movie you and Hinata had started. After about 30 minutes more, there was a knock on the door.
"Thats definently Tsukishima," You say and Hinata nods as you stand up to open the door, greeting the tall blonde, noticing Tadashi and Noya behind him. "Hey Tsukki, Tadashi, and happy birthday Noya!" You greet, patting Tsukishimas arm and hugging the last two. "Everyones here, so lets get started, hmm?"
As everyone gets their stuff situated, you head to your room to get your phone and order some take out and remind your mom to get a cake before heading back out to your friends. "Noya, you ca– Noya?" You giggled softly, seeing him wrapped in a giant fluffy blanket, and he smiles. "Yes?"
"Ah, I was gonna say you can choose a movie, unless you wanna do anything else before the food arrives," you bounce before taking a seat between Tsukishima and Hinata. "Movie please, i dont want to even know what hes thinking right now," Tsukishima said, his expression was serious. You elbow him with a chuckle that follows, "its his birthday, cut him some slack."
You all decided to play a few games with an old movie playing as background noise. Truth or dare, would you rather, never have I ever, and some board games, Tsukishima winning monopoly. He was currently boasting to Kageyama with a smug look on his face as the doorbell rang.
"Food!" You shouted and jumped up to answer the door, quickly paying for the food and closing the door before bringing it to the small coffee table in your living room. "Also my mom should be home in a few minutes so call down with all the cursing Tanaka," you laughed and opened the food boxes before grabbing some plates and utensils for them to serve themselves.
You guys ate and finally put on a movie, moving the coffee table to you, Noya, Tanaka, Tadashi, and Hinata could all huddle up on the floor infront of the tv, leaving Tsukishima and Kageyama on the couch. "Hey, im home honey. Hi boys," your mom called, a big bag in hands as she slipped off her shoes. "Hi y/ns mom!" Noya called and she brought the cake over to you.
"Happy birthday Noya, and hello Kageyama, its been a while since ive seen you, you're so big," your mom patted his shoulder and he nodded. "Hello Mrs. y/l/n," he spoke politely as Tsukishima quietly laughed at him. "Behave okay? Im heading to bed. Oh, and Kageyama, your mother invited us over tomorrow so i can take you home tomorrow, " she flashed a warm smile and your face lit up as you sat up from the cuddle pile.
"I haven't been to your house in years," you exclaim and placed a hand on Kageyamas knee, giggling. He shifted a bit, causing your hand to fall and he hummed, "because Tokyo is far." You roll your eyes and lay down back between Nishinoya and Hinata. "And im not sleeping over, my moms coming in 10 minutes to pick me up."
"Ah, well either way, ill see you tomorrow Tobio," your mom waved and left to her room. It was silent as you guys kept your eyes glued to the screen. Eventually Kageyama left, so Tsukishima joined the cuddle pile until you guys got tired. Hinata and Tadashi took the couch, Tanaka and Nishinoya draped over each other near the couch, Tsukishima laying next to you on the blanket that covered the itchy carpet.
You sat up, on your phone after your friends from Nekoma decided to blow up your phone.
"You still awake?" You jumped at the voice, thinking everyone was asleep, and you turned to the voice to see the salty blonde slipping on his glasses. "Yeah, my friends texted me," you whispered before turning off your phone, the room being engulfed by darkness and you took your spot next to Tsukishima. "So you and Kageyama?" He propped his head up on his hand as he looked at you.
"Yeah, he's weird. He hasn't been talking to me that much the past few weeks." You rest your head on the pillow and pull the blanket up over you. Tsukishima hums lightly before fixing his pillow, "is he always like this? He doesnt seem that way around the team."
"I guess? Hes always been dry and stand offish since we were children, but to other people he was different." You felt tired, and Tsukishima could sense it. "Rest, worry your head tomorrow." He pats your head before taking his glasses back off and lays down, you smile. "Thanks Tsukki."
"Dont call me that."
Once it became morning, Tanaka and Nishinoya were the firsts to leave, followed by Tadashi. You had just come out of the shower, finding Hinata folding his blankets and cleaning up the living room, and Tsukishima talking to your mom in the kitchen as he helped wash dishes. "Good morning mom," you yawned and grabbed a key from one of the drawers. "Im gonna stop by the store, wanna come with Tsukki? Hinata?"
Tsukishima looked at your mom and she nodded, telling him it was okay and that she'd finish the dishes on her own. You left the house with the two males, taking the short walk to the store. "You're going to Kageyamas right?" Hinata asked, bouncing to keep warm in the cold air. You nod and swing the keys around your finger, "yeah, in a few hours, oh! Let me text him."
(Sent October 11th at 1:17 pm)
Y/N: [Morning Tobio!]
[I'll see you in a few hours!]
As you waited for his answer, Tsukishima spoke up. "Not to.. seem like im putting you on the spot but.. doesn't he ignore you?" He kept his hands in his pockets and his gaze forward and Hinata gasped, "Tsukki that sounds mean!" He smacked his arm, causing the taller to look down at him. "I'm just saying that its not the best way to treat someone," he rolls his eyes and Hinata scoffs. "As if you can talk."
You sigh and laugh, placing a hand on both the males arms, "calm down you two, geez." They relax in your touch and Tsukishima continues. "Seriously tho, he could be just, y'know.. being a bitch," he he spoke, putting an emphasis on bitch. "Or he could be hiding something!" Hinata gasps and you laugh at them. "Yeah yeah, but its whatever really, this is how ive always seen Tobio, it'd be weird if he was any different. Though id like it alot if he DID be a little less dry."
You remembered the talk you and Tsukishkma had before, he always brought up Kageyama and your relationship with him. Soon you started to think the same was he did. Was Kageyama really just being mean? Isnt that just how he always is? Why does he act different around others? Was it you, or was it him?
You kicked off your shoes as you stepped into the warm house with a bright smile, "hello Mrs. Kageyama!" You greeted as she pulled you into a hug. "Hello y/n, my you've grown! Tobio is in his room, can you take him his plate? This one is your" She said and handed you two plates. You smiled and nodded your head like a gibby child and she patted your back as you made youe way to Kageyamas room. You kicked on the door because your arms were occupied.
You heard a bed creak and a few seconds after, the door opened and was almost closed back in your face if it weren't for him catching a glimpse at the plates. "Come in," he mumbled and let you in. You walked over to his bed and put his plate down on his bed and sat on the end as he closed the door. "Wow, your room has changed alot," you smile and look around the room at his posters and pictures on the walls.
"Mhm," he plopped back down on his bed and went on his phone. You noticed this and furrowed your brows, taking a bite of your food. "You know, for someone on their phone alot, you sure do ignore my texts alot," you mainly joked, but you guessed that he didnt catch on when his expression changed and he mumbled an apology. Was that guilt on his face?
You decided to stay silent and just scroll through social media and eat your food. After a few minutes of just silence, Kageyama finished his plate and got up to take it upstairs. "Hey Kags," you called before he left and you held your plate out to him, "can you take this for me?"
"You barely ate any thing," he said and you shook the plate a little bit, causing him to grab it, scared it would fall. "I'll bring you a meatbun," he murmured and left the room. You smiled slightly at the mention of meatbuns, and stood up to stretch your legs.
You grabbed a napkin from Kageyamas bedside dresser and wiped any food off of your mouth. He had a small trash bin in the corner of his room, so you went to throw away your napkin, looking at his posters and pictures on the wall. When you opened the bin, there was a large stack of pictures atop all of the trash.
All being pictures that had you and him in them.

Hi! I actually have the same problem with characterizing atsumu and oikawa and YES it is because theyre both hot setters. Rather than yandere how would you canically differentiate their personalitites? ily!
Ok, so I’m kinda hesitant to answer something in ‘canon’ verse if that makes sense because I mostly just focus on the darker stuff, but I’ll try 👉👈 also please remember this is just my personal opinion and y’all are welcome to disagree.
So yes, there are of course similarities. They’re both very pretty incredibly talented setters, they’re driven, competitive, but I think it’s their attitudes and personalities that make them so different. I could write an entire essay on this but I’ll try and keep it short(ish) lol I failed
Look at how they treat their fans; Oikawa’s all smiles and polite flirting - every time we see him actually interact with his fan club, he’s an absolute poster boy of charm and grace. He thanks them for baking for him, compliments them, let’s them take pictures. It doesn’t necessarily come across as wholly genuine, but that’s beside the point. Atsumu on the other hand, different story. Granted we only see one little snippet of his interaction with his ‘fans’ but it speaks volumes. Not only does he call them out for ‘ruining’ his serve, but he insults them (loudly) by calling them squealing pigs.
The way they interact with their teams is different too; Oikawa truly believes that he can bring out the best in his spikers (and his team in general) - yes he pushes them to be better, often past what they feel compfrotable with, but outside of him going off at Mad Dog for almost injuring Kindaichi in that risky play during the second Karasuno match - he doesn’t get frustrated at them for mistakes or anything like that. Actually, more often than not he’s the one to call himself out when a spike goes wrong and they lose a point. He’s always encouraging and he reads his team well. It’s also noted that he has an incredibly good way of adjusting to the players around him - I think there was one episode when he was playing with a team of college guys and kageyama was surprised about how quickly he was able to read and adjust to them.
Atsumu on the other hand is much more a self centred setter. He expects his spikers to hit his sets, and if they don’t, or they don’t do it as well as he expects them to, he’ll go off on them. With Samu it’s kind of expected, but we’ve seen that he does it with others as well. That’s not to say that he won’t adjust to them - he wouldn’t sabotage the team just for his own pride, but if a spike doesn’t go right, the fault obviously lies with the spiker, not with him and they’re the one who needs to pick up their game. I do want to stress though - he will always give his teammates the best possible sets, it’s just that his standards (both for himself and his team) are ridiculously high. He’s also incredibly showy with how he plays. It’s also worth noting that when another player outside of his team does something incredible - Atsumu can recognise it. He goes from implying Hinata can’t play by calling him crap to being moved by his attitude mid game to telling him that one day, he’ll set for him (which I think to Atsumu is the biggest compliment he can give).
If we’re talking about their attitudes - I said above that they’re both driven, and they both have a whole lot of pride and they’re competitive to a fault. However Oikawa has a lot of doubts and insecurities behind him. He’s never made it to nationals, he’s never been able to beat Ushiwaka. He can train and train and train - pushing himself to breaking point (literally - look at his knee) but he will never be a genius like Kageyama. He’s confident in his abilities of course - he knows he’s good, but even in the first match against Karasuno he notes that Kags is the better setter (but he’s the better overall player). That’s never stopped him from pushing himself to grow though, to overcome those limitiations that he sees in himself - talent is something you make bloom, instinct is something you polish.
Atsumu on the other hand has always had Samu right beside him pushing him to be better - if only for the sake of beating his twin. He’s one of the best setters at the highschool level, on track for the national youth team. He doesn’t have the same doubts and feelings of inferiority that Oikawa does. He’s cocky because he knows he has a right to be. Naturally we don’t see as much of Atsumu as we do of Oikawa over the series, however I kinda get the sense that the only person Atsumu really compares himself to is Osamu - I think it’s Aran who says that if he had to choose, he’d say that Osamu was the more gifted player, and Atsumu pushed himself more because of that. So yes he’s a monster, but he’s also put in a hell of a lot of hard work for that - he loves volleyball.
They both like to rile up their competitors, but while Oikawa is flippant and smug, Atsumu is more cocky and outright rude. Oikawa is charming and flirtatious, while Atsumu’s more carefree and confident, but a lot of his compliments feel a little backhanded. Oikawa comes across as a little fake, and he’s not nearly as nice as he pretends to be (he’s actually pretty damn vicious at times), but Atsumu’s a little more up front - what you see is what you get. He’s not gonna pretend to like you if he doesn’t. Atsumu’s a little more explosive and he’ll snap at the smallest things, but Oikawa will bottle things up until the pressure becomes too much and he can’t stop himself from lashing out. They can both be pretty childish and petty though.
Anyway, sorry for rambling but I hope that helps?

methinks hinata is a background character of every play he auditions for, but the casting director always wants him in the main cast. he never accepts those roles when they’re offered (especially because he really only auditioned to be the villager c to yachi’s villager b) because he’s busy with volleyball, but cast and crew never hides that they want him around more often. they think he’d play the comedic relief character really well in his first and second years, and in his third year, he’s matured just enough that everyone is VERY VERY tempted to ask him to audition to be the male lead/love interest. they end up not asking because he’s still the goofball, ray of sunshine he was in his first two years, and as a result, they get easily distracted making sure he doesn’t accidentally break anything or they get swept up in his presence so completely and just want to be around him that they forget to ask. when he gets cast as a tree in his third year (per his audition), they don’t even complain. they’re just happy to have his welcoming, motivating energy around for his last year at karasuno.
anon!! i really, really love this !! <33
please omg yachi and hinata auditioning as villagers b and c together 🥺 but they never say yes to main roles bec of volleyball despite the fact they always knock their auditions (hinata esp) out of the park. listen, they only have to say one line and walk from point a to b but they really give it their all ;-;
ahhh and the theater kids loving his energy?? definitely! this ball of sunshine is everyone’s mood maker and he makes long, grueling practices 100x better the second he steps on stage. he’s usually late tho bec volleyball still takes priority, but his role isn’t too huge that they can’t practice if he’s not there.
though i do agree that he might be a bit of a hazard in terms of props and sets — he has broken the branch of his tree costume more times than anyone can count, but they all forgive him and just tell him to be more careful.
hinata is honestly an honorary member of the theater club. when he’s not on stage during shows, he’s hyping up the rest of the company. he’s running around backstage helping get everything together, giving out compliments to anyone who passes by him, handing out water bottles after an actor finishes a particularly long monologue.
he probably ropes in yams and kags for the last show after finding out the theater club needed a couple more people for the ensemble. tsukki is in the audience recording everything 🤧

The Ghost Of You
21 - Unwanted Inconvenience
Tumblr media
I've changed the band name from "Xannys" to "Grimlace". I am extremely sorry for making you all suffer through having such an awful band name in the past.
I cannot stress this enough, please vote for my chapters! And I love every comment I get so much!! It makes my day seeing the number of comments I get:)
This chapters songs:
Retreat! - Crumb
Sponge Won't Soak - Wild Moccasins
Dark Red - Steve Lacy
- Y. L. Perspective
"Uhm...Suga?" Tanaka's voice is heard to our left, waking both me Koshi up from our very long nap. "We're here you know."
His awkward tone alone was enough to send us both jumping out of our seats, fearful that the entire team had waited for us to get up. But thankfully, it was just Daichi and Tanaka standing above us.
Both Koshi and I look at each other in unison. "Sorry..." he manages to mumble while leaving the seat. I follow him shortly after, leaving the van empty.
Was I sorry? No. The nap against Koshi was five stars. I hadn't ever had such a comfortable car ride in my entire life until I rested on him. Besides, he was my boyfriend. Why would I be sorry for something silly like that?
What I was sorry about was that we almost got noticed by Eclair. The entire team knew about Koshi and me, except for her. I didn't know much about her and from what I perceived of her she didn't seem like a drama starter. She would most likely cry and yell and forget about it when she went back to France in a couple of days.
We had thought everyone would be tired after such a long car ride. But not Hinata. He admired the structure of the big building, yelling, "Wow! I've never been to a training camp before! This feels so cool!"
"It's just a training camp," Kageyama remarked, yet Hinata stands unfazed.
The team entered the building, all of us observing its basic beige architecture and decor. Everyone gathered around Takeda to ask which rooms they were assigned to. As for Kiyoko, Eclair, and I—we had asked him beforehand to get a head start.
All three of us manage to sneak off from the crowd and hunt down our room number: #613. Although I wasn't very comfortable around Eclair, I didn't feel uneasy to be sleeping in the same room as her. It only meant I couldn't update Kiyoko on my relationship with Sugawara.
Once we'd found our designated room, I unfolded the tiny key and stick it into the lock, hearing a click not soon after I turn it.
When I had opened the door, I wasn't entirely dissatisfied. There were two bunk beds on each side of the room, all four mattresses covered in floral printed sheets with nightstands next to them. The curtains had the same pattern as the sheets, falling over a large square window.
Overall, it was a nice room. Way nicer than the previous motels and hotel rooms that my band had stayed in during concerts and such. All stank of marijuana and alcohol.
Eclair's brackets make a 'jingle!' sound while she squealed, "it's lovely!" The girl runs up to one of the bottom bunks and places her bag there, collapsing onto the mattress. "I'm so thankful to be spending my last few days in Japan here!"
Kiyoko nods gently, her too putting her luggage on the opposite bunk bed. Assuming she wouldn't mind it, I threw my bag on the bunk above her. It would most likely be easier to communicate with her if I shared a bed with her.
"Yes, it's very nice," I say, smiling merely at the blonde girl.
Kiyoko began to unpack her toiletries into the small drawer attached to the bunk bed. I hopped down from the top bed and did the same, observing the carvings that the drawers had. Names, dates, and funny remarks were scratched out in the middle of it, lots of them left from previous sports or art students that came to this building for a camp of some kind. All were either hilarious, inappropriate, or gentle. But in all, they made me smile.
"So you're in a band, Y/n?"
In my eyes widen in fear. Nobody from the team other than Sugawara, Daichi, and Kiyoko knew that I was in a band. So how did the girl find out?
Hesitantly turning my head, I nod, making out an awkward smile across my face. "Uhh, yeah. How'd you know?"
She sits up confidently and chuckles. "I was taking a glance at your Instagram. You seem to go on a lot of trips around the world!"
I wasn't very used to being confronted about my band. And besides that, being acknowledged she was looking through my Instagram was stressful. If she knew about my band, was it possible she knew about Koshi and me?
"Yeah, I travel now and then." Proceeding to unpack my things as if it was no issue to be questioned, I place my pairs of shoes under the bed.
No matter how uncomfortable I attempted to make my tone, she kept on going. "Oh...that sounds like fun! You must have so many fans. Your voice is great too. I wonder why you've never told them team about Grimlace!"
"Hm, I like to keep my life outside of volleyball private..." I say. "Could you please not tell anybody else?"
My question sure was quiet but clear to her. It would determine whether or not Eclair was a bitch or genuinely a nice girl.
Thankfully, she nods lightly, messing with her nails. "Of course not."
Suddenly, the conversation is put to the side by a knock on our door, sending Eclair, hushed Kiyoko, and me to flinch.
Kiyoko puts a hand on her chest, sighing in relief that the tension was interrupted. "Come in," she tells the person on the other side of the door.
Two boys are revealed; Nishinoya and Tanaka walk in, already dressed down in their "sleep clothes", which consisted of a white t-shirt and shorts. Could I talk any mess about their outfits? Nope! I was planning on wearing the same thing.
The buzzcut bow flutters his eyes at the sight of Kiyoko brushing her hair and quickly grows flustered. "L-ladies! Dinner is on the table." He spoke loud in nervousness. "Do you guys like your room?"
"Tanaka, we've been in here less than ten minutes. I'm surprised you're already gotten dressed!" Kiyoko speaks in a sweet tone that seems to mesmerize him. She finished up brushing the ends of her hair and dusts her hands off on her sweat pants, before looking towards the other two girls in the room: Eclair and I.
We nod and drop what we were doing to exit the room with her. If the odds were in my favor, Eclair wouldn't continue interrogating me during dinner. If so, she would soon find out about Koshi and me from one of the men that walked behind us, flustered they'd
Not soon after leaving, we arrive in the mess hall, where the volleyball club was spread around filling their plates and emptying them into their tummies.
The two boys leave our side to continue eating and we help ourselves to some plates. Today they served simple rice, roasted vegetables, and chicken. Nothing special, nothing utterly disgusting. As I'm picking up my food, I look over to the lunch table that the boys were scattered upon, keeping an eye out for any gray-haired men.
There he sat next to Daichi, eating small portions of the rice left in his bowl. 'Does Eclair's being here mean I'm not allowed to sit next to my boyfriend during dinner?' I think internally, finishing filling my plate.
Kiyoko helps herself to sit right next to Daichi, fitting in with the rest of the third years that sat on the bench next to the second years Ennoshita, Kinoshita, and Narita. Across from them were the first years and the terrible two: Tanaka and Noya.
I stood uncomfortably at the end of the wooden table, looking over it to see if there were any empty seats I could eat in. All that looked back at me were eyes of curiosity and confusion.
It only took a few seconds of staring until someone was nice enough to mention my standing there.
"Y/n! Why don't you take my spot? I'm just about done anyway," Daichi tells me while he got up from the bench with the now empty tray. I look at Daichi, then Koshi, then to Eclair who was now walking towards the lunch table.
I of course didn't want her to take my spot, so I nod and bow politely, before switching places with Sawamura. He pays my shoulder gently, whispering, "you're welcome!"
Kiyoko and Koshi both smile at me, scooting over the slightest to make room for me. I say my thanks for my food and began picking at my rice, listening in on the boy's conversation.
"And then I spent my time practicing on the girls' team since I didn't have anyone else to practice with me. It sure felt like I was a part of their club!" Hinata told us, Eclair sitting down next to him, beginning to eat her food as well. "What about you guys? Did you guys have any rough stories before getting into volleyball?"
Tanaka cuts the air with his pointer finger, motioning for us to pause any conversation until he was done chewing. "I used to be a mega introvert before attending Karasuno!"
"Yup, Ryunosuke was just like Kageyama but worse," Nishinoya commented.
I raise a brow at the mention of that. Tanaka—a boy at the edge of having a breakdown?! I couldn't speak for myself. I too was a short-tempered girl towards the beginning of high school.
Kageyama scoffs, rolling his eyes at the mention of his name. "I'm not that bad, you know." We all knew that was a lie. As much as he denied it, Tobio struggled with his anger issues.
Eclair raises her hand slightly, swallowing a lump of rice. "Don't sweat it Kags, everyone has their embarrassing issues. For instance: I used to be such an obsessive girl in my first year. I'm sure I was a nuisance to many of the people in the volleyball club. Always talking in class and being a ditz was my specialty!"
"What about you, Y/n? Have you ever been involved in volleyball, or is this your first time being a part of a volleyball club?" Nishinoya asks me. At first, I thought of shaking my head and replying with a no, as if my memory of middle school had disappeared from my mind.
After thinking about what to reply with for a second or two, I nod my head slightly. "Hm...in junior high I was on the girls' volleyball team, but I was more of a bench warmer. I only joined the team to be closer to my friends, that's all."
"Aren't you friends with the captain of Seijoh
boys volleyball club? You know, since you went to middle school with him?"
I look up to the girl who assumed such ridiculous things, Eclair. There she sat with her chopsticks in hand, lips parting slightly. It was crystal clear that she was trying to dig out my history and force me to tell the volleyball club about my personal life further than what I was comfortable with.
Knowing that I was uneasy, Koshi lays his hand gently onto my knee under the table, squeezing it ever so slightly. My heart beats in its cage, anxious at how many ways this conversation could go if I had said the wrong thing.
"...is that true?" Asahi asks, looking at his fellow teammates to observe their reactions. All of them looked just the same: betrayed.
"Eclair, it's best not to assume things about people you barely know," Koshi tells the girl in a monotone voice, making it obvious that he knew her intentions.
'Well, this got awkward fast.'
"It's okay. Uhm— I'm not friends with any members of Aoba Johsai's volleyball members. Where did you hear that?" I ask, setting down my utensils and clasping my hands together. Surely her reasoning has to be good if it meant ruining my very new relationships with most of the boys at the table.
Most of them sigh after my question, placing hands in their chests. "I thought you were a traitor for a second, Y/n! Eclair, you scared us half to death!" Noya whines.
The girl blinks a few times, shrugging. "I'm terribly sorry! I heard it from a girl that goes to Aoba Johsai, she says that Oikawa never stops talking about Y/n! She only knew by looking up your name and finding out she went to Karasuno."
"Seems you have a crush on Y/n, Eclair. You're almost addicted to looking into her past." Kiyoko suddenly made a remark, smirking as she drank a sip of her water.
The girl grows flustered very quickly, blushing. "No! Sorry, Y/n. I didn't mean to be disrespectful. I'm only interested in what it's like to live without many boundaries. My father never lets me lay a finger on anything that could potentially ruin his vision of what his daughter should be," an innocent look is spread across her face as she says so.
"Aw, I'm sorry to hear that Eclair." Yamaguchi makes a sweet comment, ignorant that she was guilt-tripping. I'd never pictured her to be such a manipulative girl yet calm and poised at once.
She nods, continuing to eat her food.
Though it was her fault entirely, Eclair was saddened that what was supposed to be an enjoying dinner turned out to be silent and awkward. I was growing extremely tired of her passive-aggressive attitude towards me, but losing sight of why I came to this training camp was not an option. I don't care how badly Eclair could hurt my feelings, I won't let it get to me.

Thank you so much for reading this chapter!! I know it's been so late since I've updated. Pls forgive me! I've just now started school again so things are keeping me from writing. Love you all as always,

I love the idea of Tsukki knowing Yamaguchi is very compliment to others as to not cause problems. I could see Tsukki low key trying to push Yamaguchi to be a bit more selfish when it comes to thing with the club. Like not just going with things to make others happy. Yamaguchi is so compliant with his home life, I could see Tsukki getting annoyed and just being like “be selfish for once god damn it!” To Yamaguchi one day when he just goes along with something that makes him uncomfortable.
Here it is. Sorry this is late, but I completely forgot about this between work and my own fic  . But here it is ^.^ hope you like. Here is the tag following the start of this Tsukki!Yama AU
Tadashi would defiantly be a selfless person. It obviously a product of his living situation. He isn’t used to gifts and such and always gives of what he has.
Maybe it’s the small things, he skips some of his lunch time to help Kageyama and Hinata study in lunch. Tsukki tries to keep him in their classroom so they can eat together, but Yamaguchi always leaves if Kags or Hinata asks for help.
The other sees him as a yes-person. Yama always says yes to whatever favour he is asked. Ask him to hand out papers, yes. Ask him to help clean the classroom after school, when it obviously wasn’t he that should do it this time, yes. If some of his teammates ask him to help out or help carry some extra stuff, yes.
Tsukki knows they don’t mean to take advantage of yama, but they don’t see that Yama can’t say no to them and will often push himself.
During mid term it gets really stressful, for them all. Hinata and Kageyama asks for extra time from Yama to help them study. Yama, agrees, of course. But he has to do his own studying too and Tsukki can see how he wear himself out to meet the other expectations.
Being in prep college class is hard, being a makeshift teacher for kags and Hinata is hard too. He has some part time job he also work at a few times a week plus the weekends. So when does the time for himself come?
The product of this; Yama gets tired. Tsukki can see the appearing raccoon rings and how tired he is. Despite his progress in volleyball, every time he practice his serves- he struggles with them.
Tsukki talked to him when they are on their way home. Or on their way to the shop becuse Daichi said he would buy them pork buns.
“You know you can say no to them?” Tsukki breaks the silence. He used his time changing and the other when ahead.
“What do you mean?”
“You can say now to the idiots and use time on yourself.” Tsukki almost growls. he sins angry. He is just bad at showing that he is worried over his friend. “I know you work a lot too, to make it easier for Kanami-san.”
“Tsukki, I don’t know what you are talking about?” Yamaguchi says. “I want to help them out. It’s no trouble.”
Tsukki tells him that he needs to be more selfish for himself. So he doesn’t wear himself out. The others will handle him saying no to them one or more times. Tadashi says that he wants to help them and it makes him happy when he does.
“I know you want to make it easier for you mother, but you can be selfish with her too. She will understand.” Tsukki mumbles as they approach Daichi and the others.
The next few days, he tries to help Yama out. Before Kags or Hinata can ask Yama for help, he whisks him away from them. it works for some time, but Yama will leave lunch break to go and check on them.
One day, Yama actually seems to get along with Tsukki’s idea. He politely declines the duo that comes and ask him for help. Says that he want to enjoy his lunch with Tsukki, but they are welcome to eat with them. Kags and Hinata are on their way to ask Yachi for help. They will be fine, Tsukki tells him after they left them.
When the teacher asks him to stay after class to help the group clean up, he even says that he has volleyball and needs the extra time to practice. The teacher is ok, but surprised nonetheless.
He doesn’t seem more relaxed like Tsukki though he would be. But this is for the best, he thinks.
Practice is normal. They do their usual thing the coach set up for them before their own time to practice what they need to. Tsukki keeps Yama from his perpetual vision. he himself, is practicing blocking with Azumane and Tanaka while Yama is practicing his serves with noya. He is doing good. he doesn’t look so tried this afternoon.
After they are done, Tsukki asks how’s it going on their way home.
“I didn’t really like it.” Yamaguchi says and scrunches his nose up. “It felt wrong. Like I was being mean towards them.”
“You were not, Yamaguchi. You’re allowed to say no.” Tsukishima says. “They always know you will say yes, so that is why they're always asking you to do them a favour.”
Yamaguchi looked down and away from him.
“But, Tsukki, it was uncomfortable. I didn’t like it.” Yamaguchi started. “It felt like I was doing something mean since I could help them out. I have time and the energy to do so and yeah...it was just uncomfortable doing that.”
Well, Tsukishima didn’t want him to feel uncomfortable. He just wanted his friend not to give and give and give everyone all he had and not receive anything back. He didn’t want him to feel uncomfortable.
“I am sorry, tsukki.” Yamaguchi sighed. “I know you try to help.”
Tsukki breathed out, not really surprised. “Let’s just get home, I think Oka-san will make us french fries and hamburger when we get home.”
Yamaguchi perks up and smiles.
Well, while Yama takes care of the others, Tsukishima takes care of Yamaguchi.
That’s just the way it is.
Hoped you liked it :D

We’ll Eat Cake by h_lovely aka @h-lovely on tumblr This is a Wedding AU where Suga deals with having to face his ex-fiance who is a fellow groomsman at their mutual friend’s wedding. His solution? Hire a smoking hot hunk of an escort as his boyfriend of course. What could go wrong!

Day 1
@yamakage-week I couldn’t write out stories for this week, but I did make some of my rough drafts into HCs that I might go back and actually write out one day. Any way here’s my headcanons for the adorable Yams and Kags in their third year.
Captain Yams and Vice Captain Kags is my absolute JAM
All the second years and first years are CONVINCED the two are an item
Kags is only nice/gentle towards Yamaguchi
Like he’s angry and bossy towards Tsuki and Hinata, and is an awkward blob when it comes to being looked up to as a senpai by the younger kids
But he is so gentle and soft towards Yamaguchi, and many kids at Karasuno developed a crush when seeing how Kags looks at Yams
Yams grew up HOT
His hair grew out, he developed some muscles(his back especially UNF) his freckles got a little more prominent on his face he is FINE
He is of course the best senpai/captain and is nice and happy but also stern when he needs to be
But god is he a blushing mess around Kags in any non-volleyball situation Like this boy is Crushin’ hard
But he leaves at the door of the gym and doesn’t show it when practicing.
Finally a little first year finally catches the two holding hands one day to or from school and he’s just so excited he has to tell SOMEONE
And the first people he finds are Hinata and Tsuki practicing in the gym, and he tells them
And they’re like, “Welcome to the YamaKage fan club here’s your membership card, 10% off meat buns at Ukai’s shop, and if you tell them you know you’re out of the club, because they would die of embarrassment if they knew everyone knew they are dating.”
Basically sappy third years in love.
ALSO pet names Dashi-kun and Tobi-chan can you IMAGINE?!!

Fandom: Haikyuu!!
Pairings: Kageyama Tobio/Kindaichi Yuutarou/Kunimi Akira, Oikawa Tooru/Kuroo Tetsurou
Tags: Soulmate AU, Canon Divergence, Polyamory, Long Distance Relationships
Word Count: 2,914 words
Author’s Note: Hiiiiiii~ <3 This was written for @okiiita for the who @hqrarepairexchange. They listed KinKuniKage and OiKuroo as their rare ships. I couldn’t decide which one to focus on so I just did both of them! I hope you like it! (^3^)~<3
Edit: I’m shit with measurements. I changed some of the distances because they did not make sense ;)
Summary:
"Your soulmate is coming?"
Fuck. "Ah...yeah...He'll be here at the opening ceremony. I hope."
"That's nice." Kageyama looks wistful as he stares at his bandaged left wrist. His right hand twitches as if itching to see his numbers, but it stays by his side.
"Hey, don't worry about it. Your soulmates must be watching wherever they are, right?" Kuroo ruffles his hair playfully and Kageyama blushes in embarrassment.
9:08pm, 1200 meters
Tobio: We're boarding our bus now. We'll get to Tokyo around 5am.
Akira: Have a safe trip.
Yuutarou: When does your first game start?
Tobio: Two days from now. We have a day for sightseeing and one for training.
Tobio: Do you want me to bring home anything?
Yuutarou: the Nationals trophy
Tobio: That's already a given
Tobio: ...
Tobio: I really wish you guy could come with me.
Yuutarou: We want to
Yuutarou: But we still have school. I don't think our parents would want us to skip just to head to Tokyo.
Tobio: :(
Akira: Cheer up. The finals is on a weekend, right? We'll be there.
Akira: For now we'll cheer you on from here.
Yuutarou: Oikawa-san is gonna bring his laptop. We can watch the live stream during breaks or after training.
Tobio: Oikawa-san's gonna watch?
Akira: Kuroo-san is participating, isn't he?
Tobio: Ohhhh...
Tobio: That's nice.
Yuutarou: Shit. I gotta go. My Mom's making me go to bed early.
Yuutarou: Have a safe trip, Tobio! Good night!
Yuutarou has logged out
Akira: I have to go to. I have an exam next week.
Akira: You'll do great out there, Tobio.
Tobio: Thank you.
Tobio: Good night, Akira.
Akira: <3
Tobio: <3
Akira has logged out
Tobio has logged out
9:30pm, 1200 meters
Tanaka arrives last, muttering something about his sister and dramatic goodbyes, and they finally make their way to Tokyo.
Kageyama looks out of the window at Karasuno High School with its closed lights and empty hallways. Under normal circumstances, tomorrow would just be another day for weekend training. However, tomorrow they would be miles away in a different city, participating in a tournament that could make a mark in the history of the Karasuno VBC.
"What'cha thinking about Kageyama?" Hinata asks next to him. Despite the darkness of the night, his eyes are still bright, still full of spark and ready for the next challenge.
"Nothing," he answers, but Hinata catches him fiddling with his cellphone.
"They're not coming?" Hinata asks, understanding immediately.
Kageyama sighs, turning away to look out of the window. The bus has exited the school now and is slowly rumbling down the hill. Their teammates are absorbed with talking to each other or trying to sleep. "Our first game is on Monday. They have classes. Of course they can't come."
"Do you want them to?"
Kageyama lowers himself in his seat-he is still unused to someone asking about his feelings-but Hinata's eyes are bright and patient. He'd be lying if he said he doesn't trust him after all they've been through together.
"I miss them," he says, finally putting away his phone. His wrist itches the farther they go. "It hasn't been that long since we got back together again. We promised each other in middle school that we'd go to Nationals together someday. To go there without them...it feels...it's just...it-"
"It doesn't feel right," Hinata finishes for him.
The bus finally arrives at the foot of the hill. It passes by Sakanoshita Store and Ukai-san looks out the window with a faraway look in his eyes.
"Yeah."
Silence passes between them. The bus passes by closed houses, closed shops and cafes, an occasional open store and quiet, empty streets. Everyone is still wide awake, talking in hushed voices. It hasn't quite sink in that they're on their way to Nationals.
"I think they'd go if they can, Kageyama."
"I know."
In a few minutes, they're out of Miyagi and Kageyama feels the distance stretch between him and his soulmates. His wrist burns.
In their world, soulmates are marked with numbers on their wrist corresponding to the physical distance between them.
Kindaichi and Kunimi both lay in bed, watching as one set of their numbers steadily increases and the other one remains the same.
Kageyama watches as the both sets of his numbers rise until he falls asleep, slumped against Hinata.
11:37am, [0m] [365000m]
The Aoba Johsai Men's Volleyball Club had a tradition that every two weeks they'd meet up and hang out outside of volleyball practice. Today they're at a ramen shop they always frequent after games and the owner jovially greets them and ushers them to a long table in the corner. Everyone's being loud and cheerful, the pain of losing semifinals only a memory behind them.
The noise distracts Kindaichi from looking at his numbers as he joins in cheering on the arm wrestling match between Kyoutani and Hanamaki. Next to him sits Kunimi who is frowning down at his wrist. While Kindaichi seems to be able to distract himself, he can't stop thinking about his numbers and worrying about Kageyama. Being a poly bond, all of them have two sets of numbers. While him and Kindaichi have a set saying 0m, Kageyama has both sets showing the enormous distance between them.
Oikawa, who has been unexpectly quiet the whole afternoon, takes a look at both of them, at the upset look on Kunimi's face and forced smile on Kindaichi's. It prompts him to make the announcement.
"I won't be going to school tomorrow."
His voice is loud enough to carry over the entire table. The arm wrestly match abruptly stops, the cheering dies down as the team looks at their captain and Iwaizumi scowls.
"Where the fuck are you going then?" Iwaizumi asks, concern masked under the gruff statement.
"To Tokyo," when he says this, he looks at Kunimi and Kindaichi as if the knew the exact effect his words will have on them.
They're distracted by the arrival of their food. Iwaizumi waits until everyone is tucking in before bumping Oikawa in the shoulder. "I'll cover for you."
"Don't you always do that anyway?" Oikawa smiles, genuine. Iwaizumi snorts and starts eating his ramen. "There's a problem though."
"What's that?"
"If you're covering for me-" Oikawa levels a look at Kunimi and Kindaichi, a knowing look on his face. "-who's gonna cover for  you two?"
It's one of the few moments Kunmi is convinced Oikawa is a psychic.
11:32pm, 365000m
Tooru: Find a way for Tobio-chan to cover up his soulmate marks tomorrow.
Tetsu: ???
Tetsu: Okayyyyy
Tetsu: y tho?
Tooru: just do it
Tooru: And why the fuck are you still awake anyway?
Tooru: jfc go to sleep it's Nationals tomorrow!!!!!
Tetsu: says the guy who gets 2 hrs of sleep on game days
Tetsu: But yeah, ok. Ill sleep in a min.
Tetsu: y do you need me to get kags to cover up his marks?
Tooru: because I'm an awesome senpai
Tetsu: stfu im better
Tooru: prove it
Tetsu: I got lev and shiba to realize why their numbers are always the same
Tooru: Well, I'm driving Yuu-chan and Sleepy-chan all the way to Tokyo to see their bf
Tetsu: Fukunaga and Tora got me a 'World's Okay-est Captain' shirt
Tetsu: Daichi got a '#1 Captain' mug smh
Tooru: wtf i want one
Tooru: I locked Yaha-chan and Kyouken in the supply room until they confessed!
Tetsu: Kenma says I have better hair than you
Tooru: LIES
Tooru: SCREW YOU TETSU-CHAN
Tetsu: get to tokyo and we'll see ;)))
Tooru: GO THE FUCK TO SLEEP ALREADY
Tooru: AND SEE YOU TOMORROW
Tooru has logged out
Tetsu: Love you too~
Tetsu has logged out
8:17am <unknown>
"Kageyama-kun are okay? Why is your wrist bandaged?"
"Kuroo-san says Kenma-san and Akaashi-san do this before games for good luck."
"You do know that's a load of bull—mmph!"
"Shut up, Tsukki."
"Wait, isn't that Tsukishima's line?"
"Sorry Yamaguchi."
"What's with the role reversal?!"
6:00am [0m] [363400m]
"Sleepy-chan, Yuu-chan. Get in."
Kunimi eyes the light blue Cadillac dubiously. "Um..."
"Don't worry! I have my license already. We'll be fine."
"That's not very assuring, Oikawa-san." Kunimi says as he climbs in the back seat with his and Kindaichi's bags. Kindaichi tries to join him but is stopped by Oikawa.
"Go ride shotgun, Yuu-chan."
Kindaichi pales. "Do I have to?"
"Of course." Oikawa steers him to the front seat and all but pushes him in. "That way I don't feel like a Mom chaffeuring her two kids to their first date."
"You'll survive," Kunimi says in consolation, patting his shoulder. Kindaichi gives him a withering look as puts on his seatbelt.
Oikawa slides in the driver's seat, checks all the mirrors and puts on his seatbelt. "I got Kuroo-chan to convince Tobio-chan to cover his marks. That way it will be a surprise."
"Thanks Oikawa-san," Kunimi says and Kindaichi echoes his sentiments. It's not just about the surprise, it's for everything—lying smoothly to their parents about their whereabouts, getting Iwaizumi to cover for them at school, driving them in the first place.
Oikawa understands what they mean and looks fondly at his two juniors. "You're welcome. A captain has to look out for his team, y'know?"
The tender moment lasts for about two seconds until Oikawa shoots out of the driveway and narrowly misses hitting a trash can on their way out.
10:02am, 9500m
Kuroo stares at his numbers. They've been steadily decreasing since morning. A flutter of anticipation washes over him at the thought of seeing Oikawa again. The last time they saw each other had been last summer when Nekoma went to Miyagi for a practice match and he snuck out to see Oikawa for a few minutes.
"Um...Kuroo-san?"
Kageyama is standing in front of him, fidgeting with the bandage on his wrist. "Can I take it off now?"
"No!" he bursts out, starlting both of them. "Not until they get here."
"Not until who gets here?"
Shit. "U-Until Kenma or Akaashi gets here. You can ask them when to take it off. I don't really know. Must be a setter thing." Kuroo laughs nervously, scratching at his cheek with his index finger. Kageyama follows the movement, eyes zeroing in on the numbers on Kuroo's wrist.
Your soulmates must be watching wherever they are, right?" Kuroo ruffles his hair playfully and Kageyama blushes in embarassment.
If Kageyama was Oikawa's kouhai way back then, that makes him partially Kuroo's too, right?
10:34am, 4897m
"Shit." Oikawa looks out into the sea of cars before him. They were already inside Tokyo, but the stadium where Nationals was being held was still far away. To top it off, they were stuck in traffic, squeezed between a truck and a minivan and the noise of Tokyo's streets pounding through the windows.
"Are we going to make it?" Kindaichi asks worriedly, scratching at his numbers. They haven't changed for a while now. "The program starts at 11."
"We'll get there," Oikawa promises. His grip around the steering wheel tightens. "We just have to...get in front of this line somehow."
Oikawa glances at Kunimi in the mirror. He is rubbing at his wrist restlessly as if it would make the numbers change faster. To his side, Kindaichi sticks his head out of the window to look at the traffic light up ahead. Oikawa looks down at his own mark. The number marked there is practically mocking him, telling him he's close but it's not enough.
"Kindaichi, get back inside. Kunimi, seatbelt now."
The use of their real names prompt his two juniors to scramble for their seats. Up ahead, the light turns green and the cars start moving forward. When the truck in front of them moves he turns to face both of them, an intense look in his eyes.
"Do not tell Iwa-chan about this," he stresses. They nod furiously.
Oikawa floors it.
10:40am, <427meters>
"What the fuck?!" Kuroo exclaims as he watches the number on his wrist rapidly decrease. "What is he doing?"
"Your soulmate must be excited to see you." Kageyama comments, unknown to him that his numbers are doing the same beneath the bandage. He removes his eyes from Kuroo's decreasing numbers when he catches sight of yellow and white jerseys down the hallway. "Oh, I see Akaashi-san. I'll ask him about the bandage."
"Kageyama wait!"
Hurry the fuck up, Tooru.
10:42am, <157m>
Kindaichi has done suicide laps until he fainted, he went sky diving from a plane on a dare, he experienced a forty feet drop off a roller coaster.
None of that could compare to Oikawa Tooru's driving.
The scenery blurs outside the vehicle as Oikawa weaves through the traffic and goes through the smallest of spaces as if he is simply looking for cracks in a blocker's defense. Kindaichi yelps as they almost crash into an electric pole if not for Oikawa making a sharp turn that almost lifted one side of the car.
Kunimi has his eyes closed in the back seat, trying to ignore all the chaos. Kindaichi itches to hold his hand for comfort but it's currently busy holding on to the safety bar above his head for his dear life.
And if he somehow broke said bar during the ride, he'll apologize to Iwaizumi later.
Assuming Iwaizumi won't be too busy killing Oikawa for this.
10:44am, <unknown>
"A lucky charm for setters?" Akaashi raises a brow, confused.
"Kuroo-san said you and Kenma-san do it before games." Kageyama raises his wrist to reveal the bandage wrapped around it. "When can I remove it?"
Akaashi looks behind Kageyama to where Kuroo is making cross motions with his hands.
"You can take it off now, if you'd like," he says, smile borderline sly.  Kuroo's jaw drops. "I don't know about you, but I don't like hiding my soulmate mark."
"Fucking hell Akaashi!"
10:46am, 110m
Kunimi staggers out of the car, dropping on his knees on the asphalt of the parking lot.
"Oh sweet land, I am never leaving you again," he mutters, pressing his cheek on the ground.
"Now's not the time for a nap," Oikawa says. His hair still artfully styled after the ride. What the hell? He's helping a pale Kindaichi out of the car. "I'm calling Kuroo-chan!"
10:47am, [15m] [15m]
"Huh?"
Kageyama stares at his numbers in disbelief. This morning it was 365200, but now it was only 15?
"Looks like your soulmates are nearby. I'd go find them if I were you. The ceremony starts in a few minutes," Akaashi says before walking back to the clustered Fukurodani players.
Kuroo pulls out his phone at an incoming text.
Tooru: We're here!!! Lobby, near the player's entrance. Hurry!!!
"Sawamura! I need to borrow your setter for minute. Yaku, keep an eye on the team!"
Ignoring their indignant shouts, Kuroo grabs Kageyama by the arm and bolts.
10:49, 3.3528m
Kunimi is someone who values his sleep. Few things hold rapture over him than the bliss of a nap. However, included in those few things are his boyfriends. It's why he let Kindaichi burst through his bedroom door at 5am in the morning. It's why he willingly skipped class just to drive four hours to Tokyo. It's why he's standing here right now.
Kindaichi's heart has just returned to its normal pace after Oikawa's driving from hell, but the sight of Kageyama appearing in the lobby makes it speed up again. A large smile fills his face at the look of surprise and utter happiness on Kageyama's face at the sight of them.
Kageyama stares at them. Is it really-?
He starts running.

13m
12m
9m
6m
4m

He launches himself at Kindaichi who catches him in his arms, laughing as he twirls them around.

"You came! You're here! You're real!" Kageyama says, excitement on his features and his eyes bright as he looks at them, their ruffled hair, their tired eyes and the happy smiles on their faces.
"Of course. There was no way we're missing your first Nationals game." Kindaichi brushes their noses together, earning him a breathless laugh.
"But school--"
"There are two hundred days in a school year." Kunimi says, stepping up and cupping his cheek. "But only one day for our boyfriend's Nationals debut."
"But how--"
"Oikawa-san drove us." Kunimi buries his hear in Kageyama's black uniform jacket. "We had to wake up at dawn to make it on time." He nuzzles against him, letting out a soft yawn.
"Are you still sleepy?" Kageyama asks, running a hand through his hair.
"Worth it. You're always worth it, Tobio."
"Unlike you, Kunimi is not good in sleeping in a moving vehicle. Especially if it's Oikawa-san driving." Oikawa makes an affronted noise a few feet away but it's drowned out by his giggles as Kuroo peppers his face with kisses, arms wrapped around Oikawa's waist.
Kindaichi tries to pull Kunimi off Kageyama. "Come on, if we get inside now you can take a nap before the opening ceremony."
"Wait." Kunimi pulls away but he still has a hand gripping Kageyama's jacket. He pulls him down by the fabric and presses a kiss on his cheek. When Kunimi lets go, there's a smirk on his face. "Go kick some ass."
Kageyama grins, feral, determined and beautiful all at once. "Count on it."
Kindaichi kisses the top of his head. "Show the world what you can do."
"So I'll just show you two then?"
They look at him in confusion.
Kageyama smiles. "You two are my world after all."
Forget Oikawa's driving, it's Kageyama's smile that kills them in the end.
