For your Eddie SFW prompts: K, O, U please and thanks! (PS am enjoying your writing!)
ooh yay another mature babe! let's do this hot girl shit ✨
k i have already answered
Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
I have a feeling that Eddie gushes about some things but keeps others locked super deep. Like, you wanna know what his favorite guilty pleasure song is? Why he's in such a bad mood this morning? His crazy irrational fears? He'll tell you all of it without even being asked. Really simple stuff that isn't too emotionally deep he gives openly and easily.
It's the serious stuff he's not as generous with. Because of his family setup, there's a pretty good chance Eddie experienced some level of abuse and neglect in his childhood, and is likely living with the effects of trauma. And he doesn't like talking about it - at least not with people he doesn't trust. But he really doesn't want to end up like his dad, and lives in constant self doubt and loathing because he wasn't given a sense of worth in his early development. It's easier to hide those fears under false confidence, especially when you have a target on your back.
Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
He's a slob. Like massively. His van is littered with fast food wrappers and he doesn't do any kind of housekeeping until it gets completely out of hand. Blame it on the executive dysfunction.
He's also a smoker, as we know. This might be a personal thing, but cigarettes can be pretty gross. They reek, they make your insides disgusting, and everything in a smoker's house smells like tar. This is a habit Eddie's willing to break if he knows it bothers you, though. When you find the pack of nicotine gum in his discarded jeans you almost cry. Like omfg does this man love you.
And while we're on this topic I know a lot of people are under the impression that he doesn't pay attention to personal hygiene but I think this is wrong?? I mean look at that mane. It is immaculately cared for. He may not be out here drowning in cologne or doing a 12 step skin routine but he definitely has a good relationship with soap and deodorant. He's a mechanic. There's nothing more valuable to him than a shower.
Emotionally he's kind of melodramatic. When he's grumpy he can get pretty snippy and mean, and he takes everything as a sign you don't like him anymore or are mad at him. The good thing is that if you're similar to this (like I am lmao) he's excellent at sensing when you're having your own moment and being the stable one. You ping pong back and forth with your instability and it's adorable.

soft (and some bittersweet)
#trigun stampede#trigun#vashwood#vash the stampede#nicholas d wolfwood#i think they both spent majority of their lives in solitude and ofc vash went town to town and made friendships promises and etc along the w#way + he had his home and whatnot in the long years he's been alive but he still just seemed so lonely.#in prior versions of trimax he had friends at home at least and maybe he mightv made some but luida and brad are basically just his#guardians in this adaption. like brad used to be a homie.... vash watched that little dude grow up.... and jessica too.... but he doesn't#have that in this adaption. nor a town like july where he had grown close to the townspeople and shaped that tragedy to be closer to his#heart. and wolfwood spent years fighting under the eom and doing shit under their jurisdiction when we saw him so adamantly try to reject#and fight back against that fate. i dont think he had a second at all to get familiar with townspeople or even care to#so its just these two lonely ass souls and  vash immediately seeing the good in ww and points it out#ww who is under orders again to be involved in vash's business but he's also SO touchy about it bc vash is so careless and lack that self#regard and also just is not seeing the world that ww is seeing. but then vash helps him and saves him by sharing a piece of what /he/ sees#and it fucking. rescrambled ww's brain for a sec. HE GAVE HIM HOPE!!! he gave him hope!!!! and in turn ww gave vash hope too and its#all done in like 3-4 eps. there's so much fervent attachment in what they managed to give each other in such a short time#but theyre limited to the contract to the inevitable confrontation with knives - so while theyd want to give into that chance to love this#person who managed to give them smth special they just can't at all#ruporas art

Fia is a Tarnished called to grace without having first experienced death, which may be something of a rarity. Melina tells us some of Marika's words across 2 different churches, the Third Church and the Church of Pilgrimage:
My Lord, and thy warriors. I divest each of thee of thy grace. With thine eyes dimmed, ye will be driven from the Lands Between. Ye will wage war in a land afar, where ye will live, and die.
Then, after thy death, I will give back what I once claimed. Return to the Lands Between, wage war, and brandish the Elden Ring. Grow strong in the face of death. Warriors of my lord. Lord Godfrey.
That indicates that Tarnished get their Grace back only after dying. The opening cinematic does a little to corroborate this. Hoarah Loux is impaled by arrows, the Dung Eater is being hung, and Gideon Ofnir is in his casket. Goldmask is a little more ambiguous, but given the others are dead, and the way he's sort of splayed out on the ground with his prayer book and other items in disarray around him, it seems like he could have fallen dead abruptly.
Fia is the only one that is unambiguously alive. She is sitting up, actively looking at the sight of Grace, and she tells us she was exiled from home for seeing it. So it's very interesting that she is very devoted to and at peace with death, when she may be one of the few Tarnished to never have died to begin with.

not to get all up in my feelings about art and creativity but today (at work, not even as a fandom thing lmao) one of my friends went out of her way to tell me how much she liked a piece of my writing. and the thing is, i wasn't even that attached to this piece. it's small and written for a work thing and a lil clunky and a lil too personal and i almost didn't share it, but i decided to anyway because whatever
but after she told me that, the first thing i did was go back and re-read it, because i wanted to see what she saw in it. not in a self-deprecating, 'why do you even like this?' way, but just because it meant enough to her to say something about it, and i wanted to read it again through her eyes and wonder which phrases made her stop and think, or how the themes hit home, or what part made her like it enough to tell me about it
and i do that with my fanfic sometimes, too. when someone points out a certain detail or predicts what will happen next or even just says they read this at 2:30 in the morning with their cat on their lap. i read those comments, and i go back and look at this story i made, and i remember that i'm real and they're real and the things i create have changed the world in some tiny, ultimately insignificant way--but it was enough to affect what someone was doing or thinking in that moment
and something i've thought a lot about since covid happened and the vast majority of my social interactions started taking place online (it's a problem, i'm working on it, but it's true nonetheless) is that art really, truly is a love language. and not just when you gift it to people, or when you use it to show appreciation, or however else it can coincide with the traditional love languages. but because it's a way to share a little piece of yourself. and it might be silly and it might be sad and it might be fun and it might be meaningful but no matter what, it comes from you. a lot of the time, it comes from a part of us that we can't really effectively express otherwise. i mean, i can say 'i love x ship' in a thousand different ways but that's never going to compare to pouring my heart into stories or arts or edits exploring all my favorite things about those characters and their dynamic. that's why 'bad' art from writers or artists who don't really know what they're doing is still good--because if it comes from you, if it has meaning to you, it's special
but the thing about love languages is that there has to be a recipient. sometimes my writing is an act of love for myself, and that's good and lovely. but other times, when i share writing with friends or fandom or just strangers on the internet who have a thing or two in common with me, when you become the recipient, it really does transform the work. all these things that are so meaningful to me that i turned them into art are suddenly meaningful to you, too. it's like confessing a secret and having someone say yeah, me too. it's vulnerability and acceptance and kinship and community. it makes me see the things i create in a whole new light. it makes me see myself in a whole new light.

Ok, I've got it. Ideal ending of season 2 for my shipping soul is to have Loki and Mobius kiss during one of the loops ( to Natalie Holt's "Lokius" track ), Loki telling Mobius he loves him before having to restart things again, this time successfully.
And season 3 would be all about Loki and Mobius working together with the audience aware they're in love but Loki keeping what happened to himself because he does not want to privy Mobius of the choice to go back to his own timeline when everything is fixed.
