Has anyone done low water fasting (1-2 cups water) vs dry fasting?
I don't see a lot of people dry fasting here on Tumblr
I intermittent fast, sometimes with water, sometimes soft dry.
I'm working on building up to 3 day soft dry fasts.
Most of my fasts lately have been soft dry intermittent, allowing myself to eat and hydrate in the evening.
I've read that day 3 dry fasting the body starts getting the most benefits so I hope I can achieve 3 day soft dry soon.
I'm tempted to allow myself 12 oz of water a day but I know that's not a true soft dry fast and I don't want to lose out on the benefits.
I've noticed people tend to do 1-3 days dry with 1-2 days water and flip between the two for extending their fasts. Some manage to dry fast for extended periods of time, I'm struggling to get past 2 days soft dry lol
I think I'll try low water fasting over the next few days and see how it goes though I'm very likely to end up just intermittent fasting whenever dinner rolls around 🫠 😂

no salt for potassium
broth/diet soda for sodium
magnesium supplement
6 weeks of no eating!!!! i’m allowed zero calories besides broth!!
i wish i stop eating this morning but i had a pizza and a hot dog 😷 but that’s it for me

42 hours in —water fasting
Hey tumblrrr!
So Im working incase I didnt tell you about it. Let me share my plan with you now Because Im on a lunch break, and I dont eat have so much time lol:P
So I am working as a barista currently. And my working goal is to work straight up 20 days no off! And my first goal is to fast for 7 days.
If I be fine then 11 days mark is a all time goal for me!
And If I be fine I will make history for myself and hit the 21 days, and make my dreams come true.
And get all the benefits, Im gonna be pure as fuck😬
I am pretty ambitious gal :/
So anyways today it was a little bit hard but not so much when I think about it. I truly think that I will fast and work no off for 20 days and then these 5 months will be erased of my brain permanently!! I really need this. —last 5 months I lost myself and I was unemployed— I need this confidence. I have to show myself that I am that bitch! So yeah basically its the beginning. I let you know ofc.
And demons and temptations and negative thaught patterns just to justify my failure, I am very well aware and Im guarded. No more giving in.

Hour 17 in —Water Fasting—
Hey tumblr,
So I didnt walk for 11 hrs.Or the route I planned out. But I have been walking for 8 km already. And I will keep going. I do proud of myself —not really actually mostly I have to much anger to myself for the binges I made for the last 4-5 days :(
So also I weighed myself. And Im extra bloated yes, but its literally the heaviest for a long time. So fasting doesnt help with anything if you are not willing to do real changes. That is a fact now I can not deny.
I am keeping myself busy. Right now I dont feel hunger. I want to distract myself more often and maybe not write about fasting for a bit. First 48 hours is pretty hard already. So see you when Im in 50 hours or more baby <3

At the age of 42, turning 43 next month I reckon that's me done with alcohol 🍸 🍻
It's no longer needed in my life. I feel I can have just as my much fun without it. Not only would I do it for my health but as I know I can be a better person and love life even more.
I've known for 15yrs plus I'm so much more of a smoker than a drinker. Oh and I don't smoke cigarettes 😋

i might have actually gone insane BUT i was feeling super hungry during my fast and i took some salt and ground garlic, mixed it together and am now dipping my finger in the mixture and licking it off and it completely fought off the hunger?? plus you need electrolytes anyway during fasting. this is a game changer
