You can’t tell me the idea of Curvo going ‘shit I have feelings for this woman that must mean I’m in love, gotta get married then’ isn’t 100% accurate.

What are your thoughts on the vegans who shame disabled people for not being able to go vegan because of their health?
I tend to talk about vegan stuff on my sideblog @vegan-butch but I'll answer this one here.
Shaming someone for being disabled and not being able to go vegan sucks. There's plenty of reasons that might happen. HOWEVER I know myself and a lot of vegans find it frustrating when people say, for example, "I can't go vegan bc I have GERD" when what they mean is "I have GERD and I don't want to be vegan"
Which like. Both of these are fair answers, but the response I'll give is different. If you say "I can't go vegan bc of disability" I might try to help you find a way to be vegan with that disability. There are many disabled vegans!!! They have a lot of helpful tips. But if you say "I don't want to go vegan it'd make my disability too hard to manage" then like yeah ok you do you.
Some vegans find that haranguing people is a means whose ends justify it - animal liberation is seen as more important than this kinda thing. I don't agree, and that's not my style of activism anyways. But while I DEFINITELY don't agree with harassment I wish non-vegans would be honest to themselves and vegans about their motives and desires.

no I think the best part about bein vegan is that you'll see an article about the launch of a new revolutionary vegan food product that looks impossible to replicate and costs $30 per serving, and then 3 days later you google a copy-cat recipe and find one posted by a guy named craig, for 25 cents, and it makes 80 gallons and it tastes identical
like they went on SharkTank and everything, do you think the food scientists are mad at craig

Why do people think humans killing each other is a bad thing when animals do the same thing and nobody gives a shit? NOW I'M NOT SAYING I AGREE WITH MURDER, IT'S A GENUINE QUESTION. I will explain. (I will be using lions as an example)
The only known predator for lions are other lions. They have no need to kill each other whatsoever. They don't need to in order to survive(technically) and they don't need to in order to get food.
Lions are warm-blooded mammals and they have feelings and they can learn things, just like humans. They learn from mistakes and they adapt. They have even made up their own language through sounds that come out of their mouths, just like humans. I think that this kind of shows that they have thoughts and maybe a conscience.
Knowing this, human beings do not give a damn if animals kill each other, whether it be for food or for sport. So why do people get so upset when humans do the same thing? It just doesn't make very much sense to me.
man i’m just a little guy
