Altersex Flag
Tumblr media
I'm altersex, but I'm not a huge fan of the most common altersex flag, so I decided to make an alternative. I wanted something simple and visually pleasing.
The sea blue in the center represents being born perisex, i.e. not being intersex. I got this color by inverting the intersex flag's colors and mixing them together, creating a color opposite to the intersex flag's yellow and purple.
The white rhombus represents the transition or identification away from being perisex. It points outwards in all directions, away from sea blue, and towards lavender. The shape's multiple edges represent that there are many ways to be altersex. These edges also help to differentiate it from the circle in the intersex flag. The white is inspired by the transgender flag, because its white stripe represents people who are transitioning (among other symbolism).
Outside the rhombus, the lavender represents having a queer or non-normative sex, while still not being intersex. This color choice was inspired by the genderqueer flag, as well as lavender’s general cultural association with queerness.
Altersex: A term for non-intersex people whose physical sex (or desired sex) does not fit into a perisex male/female binary. In other words, someone who is neither perisex nor intersex.
This flag is public domain! Use it if you want.

Hay so this is kind of a weird question, but how would being born with supernumerary nipples be categorized?
according to Wikipedia it's "cutaneous congenital anomaly" and "congenital disorder of breasts". Though I think naming it an anomaly or a disorder an exaggeration, it's just a supernumerary body part.
it can be an intersex sex trait (characteristic of intersexness though not inherently tied to an intersex variation).
I have a third nipple but I'm not sure if this is cause I'm intersex or not. but if you're unsure if this is intersex or not, you can use varsex as it's ample. or perisexn't if you will.
now if you want to know an adjective or its own label for that, sorry I'm not sure.

Supernumerary Nipple flag 💪💪💪 💥🔥
meaning: it's modeled after the shape of the milk line which is where most supernumerary nipples form. Although they can form in other places as well. The colors are just various nipple colors.

I saw your post about the female man and male woman thing, what does it mean I'm genuinely curious?
it encompasses pleonotic multigender experiences. for example, a a guy could be uncomfortable being referred as a boy, just as a woman could be uncomfortable being labeled as female. some people are comfortable identifying this way, being a male woman, for example, a male individual can be non-man.
these experiences can be also a way to identify sex identity with gender identity, this being called varsexgender. here are explanations: female man (mulladic man); male woman (wolfadic woman). so it could mean cissex transgender or transsex cisgender.

who, besides folks w endometriosis, would u consider to fall under varisex/sex variant?
that's a good question! there are actually quite a lot of birth conditions and reproductive health issues that can cause a person to have traits that vary from what we understand to be perisex or the very polar ends of what we consider to be male and female anatomy.
i am not super well versed on every condition that falls under this category, as an intersex person, in fact i would love to learn more, myself! thank you for asking this question because it has made me realize that i need to learn more about these conditions that are close but not quite intersex, at least, as how we understand the term now.
i would consider at the very least people who produce or require "abnormal" levels of the "opposite" sex hormone to which sex they were assigned at birth to be a sex variation. there are lots of people who are also born with conditions where they may have "slightly abnormal" genital structures, such as an enlarged clitoris or very shrunken penis/testes without having taken HRT, production or significant lack of facial and body hair where they shouldn't/should be present, etc.
i'll try to do more research into this topic when i'm able! thanks for asking, i wish i had a more concrete answer for you! stay safe out there

Varsex
Tumblr media
Varsex, also known as Varisex or Sex Variant is a label for anyone who does not completely conform to the societal and cultural ideals or roles of sex.
This includes phenotypic, genotypic/genetic, gonadal, physical/physiological, hormonal, genital, anatomical/biological, skeletal, psychic/psychological, mental/neurological, or social variants as well as any other variant experiences related to sex-ness, whether they be internal or external, corporeal or incorporeal.
This definition includes those who were born with variations that place them outside of traditionally definitions of male and female, people who have altered their sex characteristics, and people who wish to alter their sex characteristics, or view themself with different sex characteristics, among others.
It is meant to be more encompassing than parsex, and it includes intersex, altersex, transsex, and all other alternative sex labels.
Varsex was coined by Tumblr user parsex-pride.

Daily reminder
"Cissexual" is not the same as cisgender.
It's about being cissex while not necessarily cisgender. Just because most cisgender are cissex doesn't mean all cissex people are cisgender.
Altersex cissex transgender people exist, and resist.

Varsex (Sex Variant) Flag
Tumblr media
Varsexness (sex variancy/variance): not completely conforming to the societal and cultural ideals or roles of sex (or sex conformancy/conformance, conformity/conformism).
Meant to be more encompassing than just parsex/parasex, including psychic/psychological, mental/neural/neurological, anatomical/biological, skeletal, phenotypic, genotypic/genetic, gonadal, social, physical/physiological, hormonal, genital and other experiences relative to sexes, whether internal or external, corporeal or incorporeal.
Other labels: varisex, varsexed. Pink representing sexness and purples variance. Flag includes sex questioning people (who are actually questioning their sex).

[Tw:genital mention] Ok so i'm fairly new to the whole altersex thing. I know about intersex but I'm still trying to learn the other stuff. And I kinda have a question. Ok, so I'm an AFAB bigender person, and I also use the term bigenital to describe what my ideal body would be if it were possible, and I'm wondering under what umbrella terms does my experience fall?
Thank you
Check the altersex dictionary, it has many categories. Some labels bigenital (salmacian/aphrodisian) is part:
Multi-sex (multissex/multisex)
Bissex (bisex/bi-sex)
Parsex/varsex (varisex/parasex)
Multigenital (polygenital).
