Can we PLEASE talk about the fact that when Wolf tells Scarlet "I love you" her response is a sarcastic "Really? I couldn't tell." I mean, how amazing would it be if all love declarations were so backed up by actions that they could warrant this response

As much as I hate that almost every female characters motivation is "love" or something to that degree, I think it absolutely fits for Vaggie and I will die on this hill

She spent most of her afterlife being treated as a weapon, probably to the point that's all she thought she could be. An exorcist, a killer. Her first real act of mercy is punished so severely it leaves her basically crippled and thrown into the literal streets to die by the only people she could even consider calling her "friends" at the time. She's abandoned, a broken tool with no more use.

And then Charlie finds her and Charlie doesn't want a weapon, she just wants to help. She sees this woman, injured and broken and lost, and the only thing she can think is "I have to do something". An act of mercy, of kindness. Of love

And Vaggie is desperate to repay that kindness, to prove that she can be more than a broken weapon. That she is a person capable of good who can protect the people she cares about. Everyday Vaggie is trying her hardest to become the best version of herself, not only for herself but for Charlie. The one who saved her, love really is Vaggie's savior and I love that for her because she deserves it. She deserves to feel adored and loved and worthy
