i received two paper cuts and also my lineart pen got fucked up but i finally colorized my m&o designs!! they’re fun to traditionally color because i use different methods for each guy

#the mickey design got engineered and also i adjusted oswald’s design to be more similar to mickey’s appearance #notes because i had fun in the design process:#they intentionally look a lot like children/at least ce toon kids because i wanted 2 show their childishness #and also old timey toons typically are sort of ageless to appeal to kids #also they’re both canonically short kings. Hey y'all! Do you think a six year old who likes to draw would like one of those fabric roll-up colored pencil/marker/crayon organizers?

#I never used one growing up #but I also had several siblings and art supplies were communal when we were little #once I got old enough to have my own art supplies #my organizational strategy is like...drawer #this is the Drawing Drawer #and I have a pouch in the drawer for holding specifically sketching pencils #and the rest is filled with a bunch of colored pencils and pens and markers in no order whatsoever #rescued from my older siblings' art supply destashes #my niece might appreciate being more organized though?

Havent. for the past year and a half. what happened man...#i used to crank out so many drawings and drawpiles like in one week alone. 15 year old me was different #but ANYWAYS i got my first ever screen tablet (its a kamvas 13 and its really nice. im loving the hotkey buttons)#so im excited to do more digital stuff as well!!#also. new sketchbook. it works with my mechanical pencils much better than my last few holy shit #like if i was struggling on a sketch in my old ones i could only erase so much otherwise itd start rubbing the surface of the paper off 💀#this one does not do that at all! and it doesn't bleed easy either #hm. maybe i could draw some scrimblos in here ......#pokemon #slither wing #my art #pkmn art
