+ Always so excited when she gets to see you! Runs up to you and traps you in a bear hug before giving you sloppy kisses on your cheeks.
+ Hates being away from you for long periods of time. She's a bit of a clingy girlfriend meaning she wants a lot of your free time to be spent with one another. Whenever you two are apart she's planning the next time she can see you, she can't help but miss you!
+ Constant physical affection is a must if you're dating her. She loves the reassurance she gets when you touch her. Her favorite is when you wrap an arm around her waist to get real close to her. Adores having your face in the crook of her neck.
+ Definitely treats your lap like her own personal throne; enjoys the feelings of your hands holding onto her hips and thighs.
+ Kind of like a puppy in love; she's quick to blindly follow her heart and it hurts her more often than not.
+ Feels compelled to do anything in her power to make your life easier ie. do the chores she knows you dread.
+ Since before you two even officially started dating, she's given you so many nicknames in passing that you're sure she can't even keep track of the ones assigned to you. Her go-to is the casual babe or baby. She also wouldn't mind if you called her princess every now and again.
+ She's always asking you questions about yourself. It's important to her that the both of you are knowledgeable on the topic of each other. It's something that makes her feel more close to you than anyone else.

+ Big gossiper!! Constantly pulling you aside during an event to catch you up real quick on any updates with the drama. Please be enthusiastic/receptive while she's talking to you about this kind of stuff! She means no harm by it and stays positive about the people involved unless they've done something totally heinous.

+ Says she needs your help to do her braids but really she can do them by herself in under five minutes. She'll take any chance she can to feel your fingers in her hair.
+ On days where she's feeling lazy, she makes you do her whole make-up routine. No mercy, she doesn't care if you guys sit there for hours, it needs to be done and it needs to be done right. She shows her gratuity with a shower of compliments and calculated kisses as to not mess up all your hard work.
- "Oh my god, babe! You're so good at this, I should make you do my make-up every day. Kidding, don't worry."
+ Secretly insecure behind all that confidence. She can become pretty defensive in an argument with you, often lashing out because she feels threatened. What she really needs is reassurance that you're not attacking her, you just want resolution or to talk about the problem at its core.
+ Jess is the type of girlfriend that wants to be treated like a trophy wife… even without the ring.

Stranded (Gender Neutral!Reader x Mike Monroe)
Could I request Mike going out on his first date after the mountain and trying to act like his usual self before it cracks too much? Just a bit of comfort when his date stays and helps him through it instead of bolting like Mike expected.
College had been out of the question for Mike after getting down.
He could have lived with having to have amputated his own fingers, but the worst part was the PTSD. The idea of being on his own in an unfamiliar location just sent him into complete panic.
He can see those... things every time he's not sure what's around the corner. He needs the light on at night or he can't sleep, and he feels pathetic for it.
It's been so hard not to completely break down, even if his therapist has encouraged him to feel everything he's been repressing.
Mike just wants to prove he can hold it together.
Be... at least somewhat normal.
No matter how hard it seems.
With Jess gone to stay with family in the Midwest, Mike is newly single, and maybe a date is the perfect way for him to get back in the ol' Mike Monroe swing of things.
So when you ask him out, he treats it like the lifeline it is, and tries to help himself as much as he can.
A familiar venue - an old 50s style road diner. Greasy burgers and creamy shakes. The good stuff. Brightly lit.
Early lunch. It's not so crowded, but also it's in daylight, so he knows that even if they came down from the mountain, they wouldn't be on the hunt.
Some answers rehearsed - how've you been, what happened up there, are you okay, blah blah blah.
He had mentioned to his parents about Wolfie, and turned out once he was officially diagnosed with PTSD and associated anxiety, insurance covered him getting a service dog that helped a lot.
It almost feels like he's back to the old Mike.
Gregarious, smart, a little goofy, even a little douchey.
As you meet him there and start chatting, it almost feels easy to him now. He used to talk like this all the time. Aimless chatter, meandering around subjects.
He forgot how easy it had been before knowledge of what was out there set him so far apart from all but a handful of people.
Even so, there's little hints that Mike's carefully crafted facade is just that. He taps an odd little rhythm to try and soothe himself, but it's always just a little incomplete due to his missing fingers - the remaining joints moving instinctively to finish the rhythm but failing.
His smile's a touch manic, even now. He's always had a bit of a weird grin, but it's just tough for him to remember how to move his face.
His eyes flit about anxiously, looking upwards, sometimes tracking some fast-moving object only he can see.
But he's making it through it.
Until...
until...
Somewhere in the back, someone curses and a loud crashing noise erupts, the sound of dishes breaking.
It startles Mike and he chokes on his words, instantly freezing utterly still.
"Don't... move... a fucking... muscle." he grunts, his eyes not even moving.
He's somewhere far away right now, maybe trapped in a nightmare.
The service dog rears up and places its head in Mike's lap, making a muffled bark that seems to jolt Mike back into reality.
"I..."
You nod. "It's okay, Mike. Whatever you saw just now... it's gone."
He nods. "Yeah."
"Here, have some of my water, we can get a refill."
He guzzles the whole cup and looks at you warily. "You're... still here."
"Yep."
"I mean... usually, that scares people off, when I have an... episode. Shit, now I know how Jos- never mind."
"I'd be a pretty shitty date if I ran off while you were... indisposed. In fact, I think I'm gonna have to see you again to make sure you're okay."
He turns red. "I don't... I'm not a charity case."
"No, you're not." you agree. "What you are is strong. You're a survivor. Whatever happened, you came out alive, and you're still going."
"It feels sometimes like I never really left. Like I'll open my eyes at some point and I'll still be fucking back there."
"Some things are... sticky. Can't always brush everything off. Only thing we can do when the road gets long is keep on truckin."
Mike sighs. "Well, thanks for... keeping me truckin."
"I tell you what: how about we ask to move into that corner booth so that you don't have to keep checking behind you, and we can sit together so I can watch your back?"
"You... noticed that."
"I'm very observant."
"Thanks, but... let's just try to stay here. There's nothing to worry about here. I'm not... there."
"Whatever works for you. I don't plan on bolting either way."
"I wouldn't blame you if you did. But as long as you're here, wanna split another basket of fries?"
"Hell, yeah."

Dating Mike Munroe (Until Dawn)! ♡︎

Requested by @pinknooniie! I hope you like it<3 I've never played Until Dawn, so I do hope this is somewhat accurate. Enjoy!
Mike, he loves relationships...without the commitment. It takes him a while until he realizes his feelings for you are solid and genuine. Even then, he's unsure about fully committing himself to you.
While he's not outwardly narcissistic, he will make it known that he doesn't need you to survive, but he wants your attention. Over time, he sheds the toxicity.
You two get closer as you spend more time together. He tells you about his dreams of becoming the president and how he was class president in high school.
He eventually accepts the idea that he does need you to survive, noting that he has a slight fear of isolation according to Dr. Hill. He does everything in his power to keep you by his side at all times.
This man is hot and cold, so don't expect him to be consistent with his behavior every day.
However, one thing he will ALWAYS do is protect you. You'll rarely find yourself in a detrimental situation without him. He would lay down his life for you.
He's always armed too with different weapons. He'll give you the easiest one to work with.
If you find yourself in a Wendigo attack you better duck because he's going to shoot that thing square in the face.
Unfortunately, his ex-girlfriend Emily is jealous of you, and so is Jessica- someone who favors Mike. Despite their differences, the two often plot your demise behind your back. So watch out.
When the group pulls the prank on Hannah, you tell them off and console her. You also scold Mike, to which he just shrugs and attempts to justify his behavior by saying: "Relax, it was just a prank."
As a Wendigo, Hannah seems to remember how you comforted her and hesitates before attacking you. She leaves you with a few cuts and bruises, but doesn't kill you.
Mike's wolf companion, Wolfie, adores you and sticks by you as another layer of protection. Wolfie is also warm and soft to lay on when you're tired or hurt.
You and Mike have intimate moments when it's just you two out in the woods. Sometimes you don't have time to fully express how much you like each other, so you exchange a few sincere kisses and that's that.
He can be dismissive with your feelings, but cares for you in his own type of way.
BONUS!! ✧.*
He lets you wear his jackets because it gets cold in the woods and the last thing he wants is for you to get sick.
You always carry a medical kit with you so you can tend to his wounds on-the-go.
You two like to have snowball fights and he always busts out with his classic, "Swish! Nothin' but net," when he manages to hit you.
He appears self-absorbed at first, but you learn about his insecurities, fears, and passions as he opens up more.
His commitment issues melt away as your relationship strengthens. There's no one else he'd rather survive with.
When his hand gets stuck in the beartrap, you help him pry it off.
Mike is super gentle with you and gives you reassurance that you will make it out alive. His hands feel rough on yours, but every touch is filled with care.
Death is always a possibility, so you two swear that no matter what happens, you'll always love each other.
There was a moment where you and Mike just barely escaped a Wendigo and collapsed behind a large tree. You didn't have much time until you needed to run again, but Mike took your face in his hands and said: "I promise we will get out of this shithole, and I'm going to marry you."
You silently agreed with him, but you had a pit in your stomach. How could you know if he'll ever fulfill his promise?
IF MIKE LIVES:
You two move far away from there after the police investigation and do get married, just like he promised.
You both have severe PTSD and have to go to support groups, therapy, and take medication if you chose to.
Mike never talks about what happened, but you see the fear in his eyes when it's dark and animals make noise outside.
It takes a lifetime for you and Mike to recover mentally and emotionally.
IF MIKE DIES:
You're never the same after he's killed by Hannah. You swore to him that you'd live on, even if he died.
So that's exactly what you do. You escape the woods and find the nearest police station. You just run and run and run, never looking back or stopping to listen to the screams of the Wendigo.
The police think you're crazy and admit you to the psychiatric hospital.
You're alive, but heavily medicated and spend your days in a straitjacket.
You break out into hysteria upon remembering Mike's death and the Wendigo's face.

- eldest of three sisters- her mother divorced and remarried so her younger stepsisters are ~9 and 6
- carpal tunnel in both hands. the gloves she wears ingame are actually just covering up pressure braces
- sleeps all day on saturday and sunday, wakes up and chugs a monster on monday, and doesn't close her eyes again for 72 hours
- always has a notebook and pen on her. she says it's for writing her ideas but really it's for when her and chris want to complain about the others when they have no cell signal
- hates being called ashley, prefers to be called ash all the time. chris was the first person to pick up on this and constantly polices everyone else about it like ash's own personal double time boyfriend-bodyguard
- warrior cats kid
- infodump autism. don't get her going on something she loves or she'll be talking about it for actual hours and forcing you to also consume the content
- really good at singing but you'll never know

Emily x Matt headcanons
(Post until dawn au, Emily being bitten is canon, Matt falling into the mines after trying to save Emily twice canon, Emily giving Matt the flare gun Canon, everyone survives ending Canon.)
They definitely cuddle a lot more now, always having a blanket over themselves and always having a small night light besides their bed. They take turns of who will be the big spoon and who the little spoon and sometimes will just hold each other very close before falling asleep in each other's arms.
Emily has told Matt about the bite and how Mike almost shot her, he holds her hand every time she tells him and he assures her that he will never let anyone hurt her.
Matt also explained to Em about how he and Jessica escaped from the mines, plus, how much damage Hannah had done to Jess and the fact that they almost died twice. This alone was enough for Em to decide to fix her broken relationship with Jess, all while gaining more admiration for Matt since she can clearly see that he's quick-witted and brave enough to have survived.
They start to engage more in the other's hobbies and interests, Like Emily trying to become a cheerleader for Matt's games at school or them finding an empty field and playing soccer/football together. Emily trying to teach him how to edit stuff or how to match clothes because he asked.
They go to their families house more often as well, trying to learn about each other's cultures and trying to get closer with the other's family. Like, Emily can't cook anything except for the foods Matt grew up with ever since Matt's mother taught her, while Matt is a very good cook but he spend some time learning how to cook some of her childhood dishes by himself, after he tasted them at her house.
They are definitely more gentle and supportive with each other than they were before, they go through things such one of them waking up from nightmares and breaking down before the other wakes up too and do whatever they can to help the other.
They both have become light-sleepers because of, both, the events of until dawn AND the breakdowns, so if there's a noise during the night, they'll both wake up and slowly go together to said noise before feeling relieved that it was just the wind or the old wooden floors of their apartment.
They brought an apartment together, did I mention that they brought an apartment together?
They also have a pet hedgehog and a snake together, the snake was Emily's and the hedgehog was Matt's.
They give each other kisses in the mornings.
8Yes, this was a lot of fluff of my favourite ship, I do not take criticism for it, lemme live in my delusions.

some fluffy headcannons involving chris hartley:
buys too many flowers. potted plants and bouquets are spilling out of your apartment & his
always tries to give you his jacket/mitts/hat if he catches a whiff that you're at all cold
he is a big fan of staying in and spending a night cuddled on the couch with you. he'd be happy to watch a movie, or play mario kart with you
but when you did go out he's a big activity-date kind of guy, he loves to surprise you with a pottery class, ice skating, an escape room
i feel like he's a PC gamer, so while he did that you would sit in the same room, maybe on a comfy chair or a beanbag, and play the switch - or maybe read a book, and he would look at you and love that you're just here with him
sometimes you fall asleep back there and he'll carry you to bed and tuck you in
and then kiss you on the head and go back to his game bc he's a nerd
